What Quest is almost to the finale, releasing me from my long labor at last?

TG QUEST!!!!

Last thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21614632/

When we left off, we tied up the loose ends of that clusterfuck of a Quarantine Zone's central world and left the Great Crusade to clean up the rest of the mess. We met with the TSAB and gave 'em some gifts to diplomacize them, and now your troops get a nice break while you repair your ships, research, and figure out your next move.

Also, in the last thread, someone said you need to research the NeiShot to use it. That is false. You've basically had an artifact-grade cannon gathering dust since 8BD.

Inventory: http://pastebin.com/HGsJUZZb
Day: 24
>>
>>21676674
We can use the NeiShot?
Goddammit! We needed to research weapons before, such as the Mass Rifles.

Anyway, here's the schedule:
Late 24:
0. implant subdermal transponders (at least 3) into Mitsune and Kanako.
1. Resourcing Operations to acquire Resource Units and precious metals as currency started.
2. Science Team to begin research on A280 Blaster Rifle and Advanced Bio-Stabilization Mask replication
A280 - 2 days RT
Masks - 1 day RT
3. Have the Hacker Team prepare to sell off the metals we will acquire on the open market, and be prepared to short the stock of precious metals on the stock exchange to funnel more nuyen to a holding company operated by the Vault.
4. Have the Shadowrunners contact the fixers contracted by the Vault to purchase talismans, reagents, and spell foci
a. various reagents they may need for rituals
b. Expendable Spell Foci
c. Spell Foci and Power Foci, as strong as they can get them
d. buy up whatever spells we can afford from the Magicknet
>>
>>21676775
5. Inform Ferricelli about the Great Crusade, Shin-Ra, Yellowman, and Black Ops.
6. Call up Holtz, give him a report of what's happened.
7. Take the 24x Engineering Hologram Construction Team that was used to build Desna's church to construct the Hydroponics Lab and greenhouses in Elysium
8. Replicate ART Specs for Spellcasters and Heroes not wearing helmets
9. Replicate ART Shades (same as spectacles, just sunglasses version) for Spike and undoubtedly the other 'cool' Heroes. And Cheryl and Lyla.
10. Have Support Frigates continue to repair the task force
11. Contact Shin-Ra
a. Give them a "Welcome to the Neighborhood!" information docket: Who's Who of the local threats
b. Coordinates and comm-frequency for the local TSAB outpost
c. Comm-frequency for the Vault
12. Replicate 20x Engineering Hologram Team to begin refitting all Power Armor with ART upgrades.
13. Abjurer to begin enchanting a Federation Toolkit with the Handy Haversack enchantment, to become a Handy Toolbox.
>>
Also, we need to vote on Hero Skills:
Marc Lecointe
Who Dares - Alternatively known as "Knock Knock - It's Motherfucking X-COM" - Marc has done some of the craziest things ever attempted by any X-COM soldier, from either X-COM agency, and lived to tell the tale. The Command Crew can send this soldier to do the impossible, and the crazier it is, the likelier it is to succeed and for Marc to survive. Even if it is with critical plasma burns over 80% of his body.
Sort of an X-COM version of Spike's "How Many Pints of Blood Do You Have?"

Terror From The Deep - When deep ones and lobstermen rose from the seas, They ran from Him. When slaying an enemy and snapping an appropriate quip, enemies besides those with unbreakable morale (even then its a tossup) test or break.

Hidden Movement: Due to his lengthy service, Marc receives a bonus whenever he tries to do something sneaky; whether it's slipping past enemy patrols and surveillance equipment, or doing something downright bastardly that David Stirling would approve of, Marc can get it done.

X-Com Savescumming: Whenever a fumble is made in a battle where X-com soldiers are being used, we have the option to move the fumble to that squad instead of whoever it was originally meant for.

Rookies! Fuuuu!: This XCOM commander has seen some shit, especially of rookies shooting friendlies and panicking like pansies. Nightmares from too many incidents have made him very aware of the troops mental state and he is able to 'Bright-slap' them before they can inflict harm on our own forces.
>>
>>21676800
Mustadio:
"Those Famed Starfleet Engineers": Working alongside the likes of Commander Data, the Guru's of Zeal, and Egon Spengler has given Mustadio the ability to do emergency repairs and jury-rig nearly-impossible magitechnological solutions, even while under pressure, in much less time than stated.
Turning rocks into replicators indeed.

Isel:
"You Didn't Say the Magic Word": After getting his brain hijacked, working to crack systems held together by magic, and seeing impossibly advanced Federation computer systems compromised by teenagers using outdated 20th century PCs, Isel has learned a few things about security. Enemy hackers and malicious programs will have an exceptionally difficult time breaching any systems that he has worked on or is currently logged on to. Especially when they have an obese and bespectacled sprite constantly reminding them that they didn't say the magic word.
>>
>>21676674
Any word on if we can get Seifer and Fujin from the Crusade?
>>
>>21676674
While we're getting things started on late Day 24, can we have Darius and Star-Lord try out the NeiShot to see if either can use it well?
The original description said it's a two-handed cannon, so it might need the physique of a Space Marine.
>>
>>21676787
I was wanting to physically go to Shin-Ra (if we can) and maybe leave them some ships or physical goodies like basic weapons and gear to give them a leg up. Also, it'd give Sylphie an easier time of finding us when she recovers Yellowman.

>>21676800
Marc's skills? I want Hidden Movement and Who Dares (Knock Knock - It's Motherfucking X-COM).

Also, we should have the Farseers check the skeins around Mitsune and Kanako to see if they can divine the exact wording of the geas they're under if they're incapable of remembering the wording. Also, check their bodies for any foreign whosists WE didn't put there. I don't want any surprises.

Late on Day 24, your Science Team submits the following reports as research is completed.

"Transpace Lances: Our Engineering Bay can now produce Transpace Lances, a melee weapon capable of cutting through any known barrier or material by rending the very primal stuff of creation itself. These weapons are extremely difficult to manufacture, and thus take a long time and expensive materials to produce. We can only produce an infantry version at this time, and the only means of production available is through the Engineering Bay."

Noosphere Research: "Our scientists have completed analysis of the disks recovered from the Group's base in the Chernobyl NPP. When combined with current theory about the metaverse, it suggests that what know as reality is created by a sort of communal unconsciousness maintained by all sapient minds. Taking it further, 'reality distortions' seem to manifest when something is forcibly called to existence that conflicts with previous established 'rules'. Some are now theorizing that S.U.E. powers result from such overpowering psychic desires that they cast a shadow in the communal consciousness and allow the nascent S.U.E. to unknowingly tap into it, attempting to force their will on reality with no regard to aftereffect. It is still unknown what can enable such desires to pierce the veil of reality. Regardless, our knowledge has vastly increased, and we can now begin work on next-generation RE machines."

>>21676775
Some weapons DO need to be research, the Mass Rifles in particular had bizarre DNA locks and security measures you needed to circumvent in addition to weapon specs.

>>21676850
The original user was a physically fit human, so anyone of soldier physical fitness or better has the requisite musculature to wield the weapon well.

You don't know where they are, though you do have Bruce's comm frequency IIRC.

>>21676900

We can go visit Shin-Ra physically later; I think that getting information to them sooner is better than later, especially as the Crusade spreads throughout this sector.

I vote Who Dares and Rookies! Fuuu! for Marc, and the skill for Mustadio and Isel. Also, I think we had a plan to do the planned upgrades for the Blackbird inside Elysium, once the Oncoming Storm's repairs were finished of course.

Seconding this.

Also, begin production on... Let's say six Transpace Lances? That sounds like a good starting number.

>>21676946
Damnit. I thought we fixed this issue with Desna not being pleased at us. Hoo boy.

>mfw Chaosbringer world done
>>
>>21676674
Can we start researching the VX? It's the weapon that managed to destroy Chaosbringer's shield, so we need more into it to pierce the shields of the other enemy groups.

Other thing! How about we start producing scaled-up reality disruptor cannons? Like a super-cannon on the AUH?
>>
>>21677005
We can have the Transpace Lances put into the queue. But first the Engineers need to finish fixing the Storm and installing the Incursion Holo-Emitters onto MechaGodzilla.
>>
>>21677008
What's to say that New Chaos and Void Engineers won't have uber shields like Chaosbringer's?

If anything, harnessing that damn VX will make the next few fights a little smoother with their shields down.
>>
Seconding the Lance production and thirding the research.
>>
>>21676775
You make the trades and the operations successfully.

>>21676787
You transmit a basic report to Ferricelli, he's rather distressed by the news.

"FOUR MILLION SHIPS?!" he yells. "We... We can't even take FOUR ships with what we've got left! If they decide to invade here, we're screwed!"

You then give Holtz the report on the Quarantine Zone.

"After hearing about all that, I need a drink. Also, what the fuck, we had something that creepy in my sector all this time? Goddamn... Makes me feel ashamed of the job I was doing. And I wasn't THAT proud to begin with!"

You begin work on a hydroponics lab/greenhouse in Elysium.

Mass production of ART lenses begins.

The Abjurers will have to work in unison with TechnoWizards for the desired operation. This will prevent the TWs from doing other tasks. Proceed?

Adding to Day 24 Schedule:
14. Engineers finish installing Incursion Holo-Emitters on MechaGodzilla

>>21677008
>>21677049
We can use VX, but first we need to be able to have space force.
>>
>>21677111
>This will prevent the TWs from doing other tasks.
No, do not. We need the TW's working on the Caster Guns.
>>
>>21677111
Proceed. Fericelli, calm down, they seem to be reasonable, even friendly. Holtz, you couldn't have known, so just get mad at the assholes who allowed it to go on.
>>
>>21677175
No, they're working on Caster Guns right now. If they're pulled off that project, that'll slow down the Caster Gun Project.
>>
>>21677037

Do you think we should upgrade the armor/shields on the Storm while we're at it? From the OP's description of the Orz battle, the Storm wasn't able to tank hits real well when its shields went down. The weapons array it has is impressive, but it seems to have a glass jaw.
>>
>>21677221
Okay, finish the caster guns first. Make sure all projects are taking place in Elysium if possible to decrease production time.
>>
>>21677175
"I didn't think it was even POSSIBLE for me to be madder at those idiots. I want your science team to research and produce an Angry Dome. Then, move me there."

"Yeah... yeah that's true," Ferricelli says. "All right, sorry. On edge lately, you know."

Day 28.

You research the A280 and the masks enough so that your replicators can spit them out, but there's a bit of a problem. It seems that the replicators can't replicate Tibanna Gas, so you'll need to secure supplies of the stuff to get the rifles to work. That done, your scientists get to work on this: >>21676928

The repairs to the Storm are mostly completed now, it is spaceworthy. The remaining work that needs to be done no longer needs your Engineers, and is being done by Scarabs. Your Engineers begin production on Transpace Lances.
>>
>>21677285
Are we producing more SY-3s to replace the ones we lost?

And let's get to work developing that Angry Dome.
>>
>>21677285
>Day 28
Wait, wait.
I've got stuff for Day 25 and 26.
>>
>>21677237
The Cruiser was built for speed, and you upgraded its weapons and everything BUT armor. This assessment is accurate.

>>21677264
Your order of Caster Guns is almost complete by this time.
>>
>>21677316
Then let's hear it.

You contact Bruce and give him the run down.

"Hey nice to hear from you again, too. Wow, that's quite the infodump. I'll try to get ahold of everyone else and pass the word along, thanks for the tip."
>>
>>21677285
Produce enough rifles and masks for four teams when possible. Can we send a message yo the Looter team to request some Tibanna gas?
>>
>>21677358
You can. Also, if someone would be so kind as to repost their orders so I can referee it?
>>
>>21677285
>>21677320
The research on the A280's and Masks would have taken 14.8 hours in Real Time because the research would have been done in Elysium.

So the Looters would have left on Day 25.
Ask Ferricelli if he finished the Mad Cat research we asked him to do.

Late Day 25, we move to Sector HQ and the CnC World to research the Chronosphere.
>>
Basically, the Looter Teams were being sent to Star Wars, (Probably that Civil War after the Vong Invasion) and buy as many droids, thermal detonators, repulsors (as spare parts for the TIE Defenders), medpacks, bacta replacements, agricultural droids (for maintaining the hydroponic labs), electrostaffs (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Electrostaff), and some lightsabers (as trade goods). Also R2 or R9 astromech droids.

Overall, get as much Star Wars tech as possible. And now that we know we need that gas, they can pick up either a crap-load of the normal stuff, the synthetic, or the recipe for the synthetic and some normal.
>>
>>21677434
I also want them to stop by Tokyo SOS if possible, and see if they can grab Kiryu since it's just sitting in the Sea of Japan doing nothing. Shouldn't be too hard seeing as the thing was battery powered and probably has long since run out of energy.

We go back to Temple Prime, and actually do some real research on the Chronosphere. I want to find out where Kane went, and some of the time-travel tech.

I have a plan to reunite us with an old friend.
>>
>>21677365
Where do we prioritize the VX research? Since our TP lances are limited to infantry-grade, this is going to serve as our "large-scale" version for the meantime.

"2 days RT"
"1 day RT" RT= Real-Time.

You send your looter teams out with your blasters and masks to trade.

How exactly are you going to research the Chronosphere?

Still waiting on Day 25 and 26 plans that you said you had.
>>
>>21677365

OP, how much time/resources would it take to refit the Storm with Battletech WarShip armor? How much of an effectiveness boost would that confer? How about Starfleet-grade armor?

I can't think of any major armor upgrades that we could complete in a few days. Starfleet-grade material would be nice, but it could be pricey and time-consuming.
>>
>>21677545
That was a typo.
You said 2 days to research blaster rifles and 1 day for Masks last session, and so by doing the research in Elysium it'll be 14.8 hours for the rest of the task force.

Have Security Holograms secure the Temple complex due to possible Tiberium contamination. We have scientists, and Egon, Data, Cossack, Mordin, and Gaspar go over the Chronosphere itself and any computer records there. Use Federation temporal mechanics research to find out the operation of the Chronosphere.

We're going to travel back in time, go to Dark Matter Branch right after the last transmission that the Sector HQ received, take everyone there and resurrect our troops and Gaunt that died, shoot up the base, and slap back in time.
>>
>>21677610
> AND manage to locate and recover a badly damaged Kiryu

YAY! Kiryu! I will love you forever my giant millennium kaiju. Now to install LSEs and a new Absolute Zero Cannon.
>>
>>21677552
I seem to recall it being said that Starfleet armor was pretty terrible, them being shield-tanked. Battlespace armor is probably a safer bet. You'd need to send out the Looter team again, though.

>>21677580
Yeah, just found the notes myself. All right, you have some extra research time, then.

The Looters return with all of that on Day 28.
>>
So I had a plan on how to increase our space and potentially ground effectiveness, but we'd need at least a day of replicator time and a meta-transit to do it.

We'd need to go to EVE Online, and using our previous replicator time replicate a literal metric shitton of Technetium to sell. Then, we'd buy at least one complete Armorfleet (50 Guardians, 5 Boosting Lokis, a couple Cloaky scouts, and a Prober, 20-30 tackle of some heavy dictors, Lokis, Phoboses, Stabber Fleet Issues and Omen Fleet Issues, and the rest Abaddons), with fits I can link to if you want them.

Along with that, we'd get the BPOs needed to replace every ship and module in the fleet, or just a few hundred spares for the faction modules.

Then, we'd get a couple War Barges for our ground forces, and a bunch of dropsuits, modules, weapons, and vehicles to evaluate. As well, we'd buy/hire pilots for all this.

Thoughts?
>>
>>21677610
I think we should put our research on pause for this.
We don't know where Kane went, he most likely went somewhere in the Meta. For all we know, he could have gone to SHODAN and we'd get coordinates to where she is.
>>
>>21677671

Kane could have "ascended", whatever that means. The ending of the most recent C&C game had him going through a portal doohickey.
>>
>>21677669

** Change Phobos to Proteus, derp.
>>
>>21677739
Except that our initial analysis of the data in the very beginning of the quest showed that the Chronosphere was working, but he wasn't exactly traveling through time. Also, this world is most definitely not at the point in time where he would have been able to build a machine to Ascend.
>>
>>21677610

>Kiryu

With or without its cannons and other weapons?
>>
>>21677610
Let's put the move on hold until current projects are complete. Looter team, well done! You all get commendations! Now, for the looter team's new skill, any ideas?
>>
>>21677804
Seeing as we dredged it out of the Sea of Japan after Tokyo SOS, it doesn't have it's missile pods. It should still have the flight parts attached though. But then the whole thing HAS been sitting underwater for an undetermined amount of time after fighting Godzilla so it's a crapshoot if any of his add-ons still work.
>>
A note guys, we still have the EVA carcasses in the hold to be researched as well.

Should we see if we can grow S2 organs?
>>
>>21677894
It's a question of, is it more important to have the Tria operational, or get an EVA operational, or take the S2 Organ out and put it into Kiryu.
>>
>>21677804
>>21677870
Flight parts are there, but need repair too. Nothing else.

>>21677669
Using the Looters for this?

Are you looking into the Chronosphere or not? I see one vote for and one against.
>>
>>21677929
Be back in a bit.

Your repairs on the other ships should be done on Day 30, just to give you an idea of time. Please come to consensus on the Chronosphere as well as plans during that time for my return.
>>
>>21677921

I was wondering if we could grow sufficient S2 organs to implant on our ISD, AUH and Storm.
>>
>>21677921
Kiryu will need a new power source. His current (and canon) one is a limited operation battery that uses an energy relay built into japan and transferred by the White Herons to recharge in the field.
>>
>>21677929

EVE plan guy here, waiting for others opinions on it before I take a large amount of time off the replicators for the tech needed.

Also, as an amendment, we should try to find or loot at least one Titan as well, so we can use it's Bridge to hot-drop the armorfleet on targets.

Or just get a capital fleet of Boot Carriers and Dreads, but I think a Capfleet is something MetaOP won't let us has.
>>
>>21678031

Well, we could pick up POS components to run our own EVE fleet manufacturing line. That should free up our replicators.
>>
>>21678058

We'd need the replicators for the Technetium to get the ISK to get the starting hulls, pod pilots, and BPOs.

After that, yeah, we could go POSes and whatnot for moongoo and get some miners for minerals, but we'd still need replicators for T3 components and boosters.

We might also want to try and get another few Supercarriers to back up the Nocturne, maybe 6-8 more? At least then we could spidertank.
>>
>>21678031
Your plan seems intriguing but I don't think such a large investment is a good idea. Unless we can solely rely on the Looter team to get this stuff.
>>
>>21678031
We still need magical reagents and items from a Pathfinder world, and we also need to get Ethers, Elixirs, Phoenix Downs, and the herb plantings and seeds needed to make them ourselves as well from an Ivalice world.
I'm more concerned with getting those since we can make Hiigaran defense field frigates and destroyers.
>>
>>21678080
Technetium is an element.
Replicators do not create elements.
Your plan depends on a faulty understanding of Federation technology.
>>
MMmmm.

This talk of running into the EVE canon is going about the wrong way.

What we need to do is go into a verse where people play EVE Online. All we need to do is sell some replicated bars of plat, gold and we can buy enough 30 days passes to amass ISK and legitimately purchase all the ships and goods we need.

We can then jump to that EVE Online verse and pick up the goods without having to steal. That shouldn't require the looter team but just our transport wing.
>>
>>21678089

The investment is wholly replaceable, because lolclones, as long as we can get the BPOs and a stock of faction mods. The only thing is the amount of time needed to make that Tech, since I'm not sure how fast it can be made.

Same thing with the ground units.
>>
>>21678092
Yeah, we can make our own ships for now. I'm going to go full no-vote for the EVE ship idea. Sorry Anon. But save the idea, because we could implement it later.
>>
>>21678132

Then we'll replicate Repfleet Warp Disruptors, or another high-value faction mod.

Or we could do this plan: >>21678133

Also, we don't NEED the looters for my plan, it's literally just buying ships and getting them out of the canon.

All we need is a meta-capable ship, our remaining EVE assets, and the materials.
>>
>>21678168 here

>>21678132

Or we could replicate Platinum Technite, and, after mining it with out Homeworld ships, use their wormhole transfer tech to get the base elements separate back in our holds.

Problem solved.
>>
So far there's 2 against spending resources and time on EVE ships, 1 for.
1 for analyzing the Chronosphere, 1 against.
>>
>>21678564
1 for analyzing Chronosphere.

1 for Eve ships. They'll take relatively little time and can be done while other shit is being done.

And they're good anti-fleet ships.
>>
>>21677929

So here's an idea:

Looters go to the to find what's detailed in >>21678092

While that happens, our main fleet stays in CnC world for the Chronosphere research.

As well, the AUH, with the mountain of replicated Technetium after the "straining" via Homeworld resourcers, goes to EVE canon with our EVE subcaps, where we buy up at least one Armorfleet, if not two, as well as BPOs, stocks of required Faction modules/hulls (Platings, warp disruptors, Webs, SFIs/ONIs/ maybe some navy Geddons, etc), and any Nyxs or Aeons we can find on the open market via Chribba we can get, as well as pilots, and a couple War Barges, and as many DUST 514 dropsuits, weapons, vehicles, and blueprints as we can get. As well as of course, people to use them.

Anything I've missed or objection?
>>
>>21678640

As well, if we can swing it, maybe getting 50-75 carriers with triage and "boot" fits might be an objective, but I don't know the state of the open capital market to know whether that many carriers are even purchasable.
>>
>>21678640

Sounds good.

I hope they go to FFT verse.

If we're very lucky they might run into Ramza.
>>
>>21678640
While our main fleet is in CnC, if the engineers are free we can begin repairs on Kiryu, if not put him in Queue and figure out what we need to replace and fix on him.
>>
>>21678698
Engineers are building Transpace Lances. Do you want to have them work on Kiryu next?

>>21678640
I guess you're doing this?
>>
>>21678640
The Looters should have Al'Kesh 1 and 2 go with them. When they go to Ivalice they will need some of te White Mages to help identify the alchemical reagents they need.
When going to a Pathfinder world, they will need Aeshma, and at least 1 Abjurer.
Spike can also help barter, and he'll get to try different foods.

>>21678698
The engineers still need to get the Tria operational, finish repairs on MechaGodzilla, and make the Transpace Lances.
>>
>>21678640
Okay, that sounds fine.
>>
>>21678869
>Engineers
Did they finish repairing MechaGodzilla and installing the Incursion Holo-Emitters?
After that, and the Lances, the need to build an LSE Array for the Tria.
>>
I second the Al Kesh use by the Looter team. Also, for Engineers, how about Lances, then Tria, then MG, then Kiryu?
>>
>>21678872

Send along our ladies and Mustadio.

They'll appreciate being able to see their home again for a short while.
>>
>>21678906
The Incursion Emitters shouldn't take more then an hour to finish installing, I believe. So put him in wherever.
>>
>>21678872
Make sure that the Looters are given gold and platinum needed to purchase their items, and they get a suitcase full of gold bars to donate to a church of Desna.

>>
>>21679241
Hmm...the Caster Gun prototypes would be completed by the time that the Looter team comes back from their first mission.
MetaOP, would Mustadio going back to Ivalice to assist in identifying materials and reagents we need to acquire adversely affect the production of new Caster Guns?
>>
>>21679296
Yes.

Also, I need that skill for the Looter team.
>>
>>21679288

Not very long. You can get almost everything instantly at Jita 4-4.
>>
>>21679288
2 days is the most that I'm willing to spend. Day 30 we need to relieve the TSAB Dimensional Navy at the VE-NC Battlefield.
>>
I'd like to go with this trait for the looters posted in the IRC.

"What's this doing here" - Looters have an increased chance of returning with useful but unasked for goods from missions, simply due to blind luck.

Pretty much, they have a chance of finding useful stuff, or even randomly just picking up a random artifact due to their kleptomania.
>>
>>21679288

Armorfleet should be good to go in less than a day, after we hire on the pilots, including some mining alts for getting resources to support replacement programs.

We should also get some POSes for moongoo and construction in CnC canon.

Capitals should also only take a day, depending on how fast Chribba can get us the hulls we need (Either 4-8 Nyx/Aeons, or 25+ Carriers with Triage and Boot fits)

If we can't get more Capitals, just load up on Armorfleets, as many complete ones as we can.
>>
>>21679326

I see dead People

This looter team has been doing its job for quite sometime and does it well. Their skills at picking out objects of high value sometimes results in them returning with highly skilled personnel they snagged while going about their theiving duties.

Picking out and bringing back great additions to Task Force 38's team.
>>
Would it be possible to find out what that Gungnir/Spear of Destiny we looted from that one Dark Matter canon does?
I want to know if we should start shopping for eyepatches.
>>
>>21679326
"Transporter Discount": working closely with ships equipped with transporters has made this Looter Team far more effective in acquiring goods and resources. When paired with a vessel that has a transporter, the Looter Team will almost never fail to achieve minimum mission success (at least 1 of every asked for item).
>>
>>21679326
MetaOP, we still need that list of identified stuff we looted from the Dark Matter Canon.

Also please let us know as soon as we make a breakthrough on the Chronosphere. Time and time and time again, we're going back to fix at least one mistake we made.
>>
>>21679326
Okay OP, keep Mustadio here but Elaine and Lyla can go help/visit. And as for the skill, how about this:
"The Friends and Family Discount": The Looter team have become more adept at finding people who will give them good deals, special offers, and access to hard to purchase items.
>>
>>21679454

Send our Knights too. They've been at the forefront of most of our fights.
>>
>>21679485
The Knights Inductor? Going to Ivalice?
Besides standing out like a sore thumb amongst the regular people of that Canon, the Knights won't be of much use in this type of acquisition mission.
Why should the Knights go?
>>
>>21679534

I think he meant our FFT knights.

Agrias, Alicia, Lavian.

Day 29

Your looters return with a stockpile of Phoenix Downs, Elixers, and Ethers. They were unable to figure out what you'd need to make them yourselves.

Your capsuleers are still making deals in Jita.

Having sent your scientists to look into the Chronosphere research from the NOD base, they are able to discern two things by today. First, there isn't enough to go on to replicate a Chronosphere, and second, they've managed to get coordinates for the location Kane sent himself.

It's the world right in the middle of the area being fought over by the Void Engineers and New Chaos.

Alright. Ask Data if the research on the Chronosphere, combined with his knowledge of temporal mechanics, is enough to allow the Indefatigable to make a short jaunt through time, of a few weeks. Enough to before the population of the Dark Matter Canon was *pulled*, and then to bring the ship back to the present.

Oh, Phoenix Downs are easy. You need to capture a phoenix, mainly. Something that'll take you way too much time. Ethers are a bit more doable, but require esoteric ingredients that grow wild. >>
>>21679439
Thanks for reminding me. I finally dug up the books and it's mainly an exotic collection of items that enhance spells and mystic rituals, provide protection from them, and provide a 'battery' of sorts. It's too much trouble to detail what each and everyone one of them are, so I'm splitting them into three groups.

Protection Artifact (x6): These items grant a mystic ward that otherworldly creatures have great difficulty passing. The ward is about 10' around the bearer.

Battery Artifact(x12): This artifact allows the bearer to draw upon its power to cast additional spells equal to 20% of his magic pool.

Enhancement Artifact (x12): These artifacts charge the spells and rituals cast by the bearer with additional energy for a greater effect.

The Spear of Destiny you found is a potent artifact vibrant with holy energies. It is particularly effective against otherworldly enemies and can be thrown to generate a causality alteration wave that grants 'luck' for lack of a better term for all allies fighting.

MetaOP, could you provide the man-hours needed to create 1 of some of our advanced items, such as Transpace Lances, Reality Disruptor Rifles and starship banks, the two levels of Aglaophotis, reality emitters, and psi-shield (capital-ship).
I know it's a quite a bit of work, but I think that if you use the UFOpaedia's articles on Alien Toxin as a baseline for how long, it won't be as difficult.
And it'll make calculating how long it takes to manufacture items easier.
Do a little work now, and it'll be easier in the long run.

...yes they have. Despite the fact that they really were not supposed to. Dr. Solus and Dr. Lazarus have managed to undo the loyalty programming of the children while not harming the nascent personalities. From there, advanced deprogramming and kindly care, helped with check-ups from Elaine have eased the former zealots into something far closer to normal of a mindset. They still feel very uncomfortable around men and are somewhat... we'll use the term rambunctious, but they're no longer homicidal.

Upon rejoining the rest of the fleet, the AUH detects a space-time disturbance as a small shuttle pierces reality and emerges into space a few hundred miles away from your fleet. It immediately hails your ship.

It takes one day to create one batch of Aglaophotis-B, which is about enough to supply about 4 squads for 2 missions.

A day for the both of them, real time. IE, 5 days if you didn't have Elysium.

Ah, by the way, as it is Day 30, you complete research of a few things...

"The TIE-Defender Type C is an automated space interceptor. It functions as the TIE-Defender, but with a positronic brain pilot built into the ship that's just as good as a human pilot. Our Hiigaran Shipyard has been programmed with the schematics, but the Hercules has not."

"Aglaophotis-C: This potent substance still falls short of True Aglaophotis, but it's as close as we can make it. Several potent spells and enchantments are woven into the stuff while it cooks, a precise chemical mixture of sacred herbs grown in a hydroponics tray filled with potions, and scientific compounds. A vial of this stuff is enough to kill a demon or hurt a demi-god."

"The mark three Reality Emitter comprises the apex of Transpace Guard reality manipulation technology. It generates a stabilized bubble pf space-time with solidified rules of physics that shuts down any SUE-derived power completely, and dampens the effect of others. Our scientists feel it may be possible to weaponize this, but they complain they lack a final piece of the puzzle."
>>
>>21681231
Okay, we have 69 engineers, as the University of Planet Research Team is usually working as part of the Science Team.
20 X-COM Engineers, 20 Gav Gate-clones, 24 Salarian Field Engineers, 5 Confederate Engineers.

So we'll assume 34 engineers is half our Engineering Team.
1 batch of Aglaophotis-B is 816 Man-Hours.
1 batch of Aglaophotis-A is 408 Man-Hours.
1 Transpace Lance is 1632 Man-Hours.
1 Reality Disruptor Rifle is 272 Man-Hours.
1 Capital-Ship Reality Disruptor is 2448 Man-Hours.
1 Capital-Ship Psi-Shield is 1632 Man-Hours.

Our Engineering Queue before the arrival of the Kiryu was to be:
1. Manufacture and install LSE Array for the Tria (8 days in Elysium, 1.6 days Real-Time).
2. Finish repairs of MechaGodzilla, and installation of Incursion Holo-Emitters (?, ?)
3. Install Federation Shields on the Mikasa.
4. Repair VP-98, VP-99, HK-50.
5. Upgrade the Blackbird

If we have any Engineer time left over, it would be to repair the Kiryu, rebuild Liberty Prime, and produce Aglaophotis-B.
>>
>>21681530

Place on order another 3 bog standard Tie-defenders. We have pilots who have no aircraft.

The Type-C will neccesitate a new reorganisation of our TIE squadron. As we produce more Type-Cs we should assign TIE-Defender Vets as controllers of the squadron/wing in their own craft.

That will allow us to bring greater, more expendable numbers to bear while still allowing our forces to have the spark of sentient ingenuity.
>>
>>21681612
I'd say assign the NeiShot to Darius. While any of the other soldier Heroes could use it, it's a weapon that's big enough to require two hands. Darius, being a Space Marine, should be able to wield it with only one hand, allowing him to hold Ringil in the other.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, MetaOP.

That's 2 days of Realtime, 10 days of Elysium Time.

Putting together the LSE for the Tria will take 8 of those Elysium Days.
That leaves 2.
I'd say to put that towards repairing MechaGodzilla, and repairing the 3 droids.
>>
>>21681732
You are wrong. It'll still require two hands for Darius to be wielded effectively. Oh, he COULD wield it and Ringil in either hand, but it'd be very, very ungainly.

>>21681688
Day 28 has them working on Transpace Lances, too. I'll assume that trumps this.

The installation of the Holoemitters is done by now. Repairs on the Mechagodzilla take until Day 28.

Installing Shields on the Mikasa takes all of Day 29.

Repairing the droids is complete early in Day 30.

How are you upgrading the Blackbird again?

Aglophotis C takes twice as long to make as B, by the way.
>>
>>21681801

How about replacement equipment for the MI and KI?
>>
>>21681530
>but they complain they lack a final piece of the puzzle."

Time to have the scientists look at the VX Engine of the Brasta then.
>>
>>21681827
>Blackbird upgrades
The idea was to upgrade it with some of the Starfleet weapons we acquired on our shopping trip at Drozana Station.
Starfleet Shields, Phaser Arrays, an All Environment Refit like the Hercules, Incursion Holo-Emitter, and a Micro-Photon Torpedo Launcher.
It's really more of a wishlist item.
>>
>>21681891
Well, you don't have enough time to do that by Day 30 end, but you could get started on it.

MI/KI gear needs to be researched first.

With the time remaining, your team could make a single Transpace Lance.
>>
>>21681912
Instead of putting engineering into the Blackbird, I think it's important to beef up the defenses of the Oncoming Storm.
Would we be able to install 2 Starfleet Shield Generators and 2 Phaser Cannons on the Storm, with BLU Engineer leading the team, by sometime on Day 30?
>>
>>21681958
Yes.
>>
>>21682006
Your Caster Guns are researched by Day 27, then produced by Day 30.

OK, I'll pick this up tomorrow. I think that about wraps up the logistics. Tomorrow will be a long awaited party.

>...AND they [Looter team] get a new skill.
I'm thinking something like:
"Leave no man behind"
The chance of losing heroes/troops/ships/etc. from a mission going bad is greatly reduced. Treat rolls from 5-40 as being equal to a roll of 40 when deciding what heroes, troops, and ships don't make it back from a botched mission.
>>
>>21681612
>>21681732

If Shephard is up for it, we could assign him the Neishot. He seems to regularly tote around a ton of guns.

Alternatively, we could also assign it to Tosh.
>>
>>21682613
There were some problems with the calculations I did for this.
I also added some Replication items.
Depending on when the Engineering item finishes, we may have enough time for either 2 squad's worth of Reality Disruptor Rifles, 1 Transpace Lance, or have them begin working on the LSE Array to power the Tria, which would be done sometime late Day 31.

I'm voting for getting the Tria powered up. Those drones will be very useful.

We will need to research them so we can make more of them though. They're very limited.

We got a Titan and almost 200 Abaddons? Sweet.

After having been stuck away from these threads for quite some time, I've noticed nobody ever thought to use the Nocturnes ECM Burst capalibity to temporarily shut down enemy targetting systems. Anyone mind if we just let Palleon command the firing of that and the new Erebus's Anti-Matter doomsday weapon? The Doomsday weapon basically makes a WH40k Battleship sized ship die instantly once every ten minutes.

http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Aurora_Ominae
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQEuqeOOnwY
>>
>>21690297

Erebus is for bridging our Armorfleet into combat, not DD. A naked titan with no triagefleet or siege dreads to support it? Fuck no, bitch.

Also only 170 Baddons are really usable, due to fleet size limitations.
>>
I do hope that people realize that none of the new EVE ships have Reality Emitters on them; not even the old Mk. I, since we looted them, rather than having Requisitions do it for us.

We can have the Vault make some, and maybe some of the engineering workshops at Sector HQ are back online, but if we meet anything wielding SUE powers, those ships will need to stay close to the other ships that do have Reality Emitters.
>>
>>21691727

That won't be an issue, but considering we're going into conventional combat it should be less of a threat. Given the fleet will be staying tightly packed, though, we should only need 3-4 Capital grade emitters, one on the main anchor and backup, and the same for the logi.

That should cover everything.
>>
>>21687333
This looks workable. All set for Engineering, then?

All done with logistics work for now?
>>
So, we have to determine what to do with Ryoko's kids.
They're part Juraian nobility, so in addition to their Olympian physique, they have extremely long lifespans, superhuman strength, and can generate forcefields and energy blasts.
With the destruction of Washu's Lab, we will need to confirm if they still have access to Ryoko's powers of flight, energy swords, and matter phasing.

We have 20 now, and more are being deprogrammed currently.

Keep in mind that even though we've removed their loyalty programming, they still are very uncomfortable around males.

>>21692632
Oh, additional: ask the the Vault and Sector HQ to start production of Reality Emitter Mk 3 for Capital Ships and personnel.

Also, transmit all of our new research to the Vault, and tell them to begin dispersal to other TG forces in neighboring sectors.
And warn other TG forces to NOT engage the Great Crusade.

On Day 30, there is a massive space-time disturbance within your ship's cargo bay as a small building with a neon sign declaring "SHOP" bursts up from the floor.

>mfw SHINIES delivered to us
>>
>>21692660
Let's ask if they would like to become one of our elite teams. They'll only have to work with each other and other females, with males only in emergencies.

Drat, I knew I forgot something. We should have made more SY-3's that we can throw into the grinder.
>>
>>21692942
That's pretty restrictive. They're going to have to work with men in this task force, especially given our war situation.
As for their use, the ability to generate energy shields would make them ideal for providing cover for the White Mages.

I think we should think a little more on the recruitment pitch, and what restrictions to deployment we'll accept.

But having Elaine be the one to recruit them seems an obvious choice, given how they seem to follow her around. I suppose we could also have Aeshma talk with them, see if its them looking at Elaine as the mother-figure they never had.

I didn't get to ask last time, but do you think you could point out Shin-Ra's coordinates for us? We were wanting to stop by and properly introduce ourselves; maybe drop off some goodies to help or something. Not that we're trying to step on your toes, of course."

I prefer the non-grimdark 'youkai nomming anything that steps foot outside the Human Village' Gensokyo for my vacations, myself. It's nice and open; great for hiking.

>>21693252
As far as Ryoko's kids? I think more than just Elaine would be a good idea female-wise. Slowly introduce men into the rotation, I think. Data might be a reasonable starting point for that. He's male anatomically, but not technically a 'man' by the standards they're probably applying. We should keep Spike away from them though. Might be a bit much in one go.
>>
I'd like to ask them, and let's say they can start with a few teams of their own, and the others can guard the white mages. However, we would ask them to each begin therapy to get over their aversion to men.
>>
>>21693308

I'm not entirely sure if exposing children to battlefield conditions is necessarily the bet way to have them develop healthy personalities. How old are they, anyway?
>>
>>21693345
I didn't say expose them to battlefield conditions. I said expose them to females other than Elaine and then slowly work men into the rotation of people they meet. Standard acclimation therapy stuff.

Seriously.
>>
>>21693345
Are you talking chronologically, physically, or mentally?
Chronologically, they're probably anywhere from 1 to 3 years old.
Physically and mentally, 20-25.

They were vat-matured and flash-programmed with their personalities, after all.
>>
>>21693308
"Sorry, I've made a promise not to reveal that information..." she sighs. "Not even if I was offered payment..."

The small crowd of people whom you have ordered new clothes for shuffle into the cargo bay. Most seem a little impatient or bored, but Cheryl seems decidedly ill at ease, as if expecting something terrible.

"Right!" Sylph says, cheerfully. "Who's first?"
>>
>>21693433
Exactly. They're virtually adults.
>>
>>21693475
I suppose we could have the males go first. That way we'll all be out of here by the time the ladies try on their outfits.

Tosh, Douglas, Egon, Spike, Star-Lord, Mustadio, Vitun, Ryu, Finalon for the beginning order.

Unfortunately, the Avatar will have to wait till he gets back.
>>
>>21693503
That sounds okay. Cheryl will be more comfortable that way. I hope the Avatar is alright, he was a great guy.
>>
>>21693545
Oh, and the women might want to change IN Sylphie's shop. There's sure to be some camera's around here.

Oh, there's one over in the corner.
>>
>>21693567
Gods damnit, who keeps putting these things up where they're not needed? Somebody shut this one off until Sylph's business is done here.
>>
>>21693598
Well, that'd help explain why Cheryl's nervous. She can probably feel someone staring lustfully at her from afar.

Or someones staring lustfully from a security room. I know exactly what they're up to, and I disapprove.
>Stares off at hidden camera disguised by equipment.
>>
>>21693503
"Well... Have him try this on when he gets back," Sylph says, ducking into her shop and bringing out a brilliant suit of silvery chainmail with a few pieces of plate added for extra protection. Diamonds and sapphires are embedded into the extremely fine mail, and it is accompanied by a white tabard embroidered with a golden ankh at the center. Runes are embroidered along the edges of the tabard with a shimmering blue cloth, and the shoulder-plates are stylized to look like swept-back wings.

"Ah, one at a time, please. Egon! Why don't you come here, please?"

"I don't understand why you're so afraid. They're just clothes," Lyla whispers to Cheryl. She continues to look at the shop.

"Oh, you'll see. You'll see."

A few minutes later, Egon emerges from the shop in a masterfully woven toga of some sort of reddish silk. His spectacles are gone, though his deadpan expression isn't, and elaborate sandals now cover his feet.

"I fail to see the advantage of this new garb," he states, bluntly. "It covers less than my jumpsuit, and the flowing folds of the toga may make movement difficult. It also has less carrying capacity due to the lack of pockets. And it looks... out of place."

"Ah ah ah!" Sylph says, wagging her finger. "There is an enchantment on the toga so that anything you put into the folds you can pull out again by thinking about it, effectively giving you the same 'pocket space' as a small cart. In addition, there is an enchantment to provide you with a stable atmosphere maintained at a pleasant temperature, even in the middle of deadly poison gas or vacuum. Not to mention the fabric is far more resilient and redirects etheric energy to your head, enabling faster and greater clarity of cognition!"

"...I see," Egon says, looking down at himself. "Hmmm. Those factors outweigh the look. I'm satisfied."

Sylph blinks, looking puzzled. "I thought you liked togas?"

"What gave you that idea?"

"I could swear I saw you wearing one in a picture... Oh well. If you're happy, that's what matters."

"Oh my," Elaine says.

"Well... it might not be that bad, I think I'd look OK in a toga..." Lyla says. "We wear robes anyway."

Cheryl shakes her head, slowly. "You'll see."

"Perhaps it is best to get it over with," Darius rumbles, stepping forward. "Shopkeep! I will be next."

"Oh, Captain Darius, I've been meaning to say," Sylph says with a warm smile. "I need you to go get your power armor for yours. You don't need to put it on, but you'll need it for the fitting?"

"What? What do you have in mind?" Darius asks, looking a little confused.

"Don't want to spoil the surprise!" Sylph says, sweetly. "Now go get it! I'll need another volunteer while you do..."

Ryu suddenly stumbles forward, bravely volunteering... or being pushed. The ninja shoots a furious glare behind him as Spike whistles innocently.

"Ah, good! Come on, Ryu, I think you'll like this!" Sylph says with a big smile as she grabs the ninja by the wrist and drags him inside the SHOP.

A few minutes later, Ryu exits the shop wearing a dark blue, almost black shinobi shōzoku made out of some form of silk. Several polished onyxes are set into the outfit, and a headpiece of some dark metal is worked into the hood to provide additional protection for Ryu's head. Ryu moves around in it experimentally.

"...sufficient," he states, nodding to Sylph. "Satisfied."

"Oh great, he's turning into Fujin," Spike whispers. Ryu shoots him a death glare, then offers a short bow to Sylph.

"I am pleasantly surprised by your work," he says. "Thank you."

"No, thank you for your business!" Sylph says, cheerily. "Next!"

On returning to the ranks, Ryu deftly catches Spike's leg with his foot and his back with his hands, propelling the bounty hunter forward. Spike loses his balance temporarily and half-jumps in front of Sylph, windmilling his arms.

"Eager, aren't we?" Sylph says, blatantly ignoring the obvious as she clamps down on his wrist. "Come along, then!"

"Oh boy. This is gonna get worse before it gets better..." Spike mumbles as he gets dragged into the SHOP.

"And remember, you only get Haste if you wind the watch right. Wind it wrong, and you'll Slow yourself," Sylph states. "And be sure not to flick the cufflinks unless you need that field. The charge on it drains fast."

"It's not going to be so bad, Cheryl. See, I'll go next," Douglas whispers, reassuringly to Cheryl. He then steps forward and Sylph guides him into the SHOP. A few minute pass. Then a few more. Then Douglas exits the shop in a deep red and grey suit with gold thread, looking mostly normal except for the white ruffles around his neck. Sylph is beside him, listening to him as he talks.

"Look, it's not that I don't like the suit, the suit is very well made, and it fits perfectly, it's just..." Douglas struggles for the words. "...who wears ruffles? Who?!"

"Mr. Cartland, I'll have you know I consulted with a friend of mine who deals with detectives all the time to make this," Sylph replies, defensively. "He says that ruffles are the height of modern fashion!"

Sylph crosses her arms, primly. "I can remove it if you really want to, but you'll lose the enchantments keyed to it. Namely the one that maintains your temperature and provides air."

Douglas winces. "Well... It ain't that bad... I guess."

"Oh no," Star-Lord says, holding back chuckles. "Looks great."

"Spirits say it be my time," Tosh says as he steps forward, in his encounter suit as always. Sylph nods and smiles, gesturing. Moments later, Tosh emerges still in his encounter suit... except that over it has been placed an outfit made of red leather lined with fur, festooned with many carved bones, skulls, and fetishes. Asymmetrical designs crawl over the outfit, inscribed into the leather with some sort of ink that seems perpetually wet as a horned helm with no visible eyepieces fits over Tosh's head.

"Remember, if you need stealth, your cloak should generate a silence field too now, to stop all that clatter," Sylph says, raising a hand. "I'm glad you like it, though, I had a hard time figuring out how to work it into your suit design."

Tosh nods again and moves back to the ranks.

"OK, why don't we try something a little different to speed things up? I'd like to try out a magic device I got recently!" Sylph says. "Should dress you in an instant! Volunteers?"

"Oh, just once or twice," Sylph says, smiling. "It's out of my way, but an occasional visits lets me net a great profit."

>>21694808
"Henshin!" Sylph calls out, raising a small ivory wand up. Ribbons of energy envelop Finalon, and in an instant withdraw, leaving him with his long hair done up, long, golden earrings dangling from his ears, makeup delicately applied on his face as his garb is replaced by a glittering golden dress and...

"AAAAAAAH!!!" Finalon shouts in horror as he feels himself with his hands to survey the damage. "This... This isn't man's garb! This isn't man's garb at all!"

"You're a man?!" Sylph says in shock, putting a hand to her mouth.

Howls of laughter erupt from those assembled, Mouse actually falling from a hiding spot along the cargobay's walls to roll on the floor, laughing so hard he gasps for breath as he clutches his sides.

"Right away!" Sylph says, fumbling with the wand. "I'm so sorry, there must've been some mistake... Ah! Here!"
Sylphie waves the wand around again and Finalon now stands in exceptionally crafted elven mail of forest green, a cloak of emerald samite thrown around his shoulders. Emeralds and elvish runes wrought in mithril silver are gracefully embedded into the mail, designs of twisting vines and leaves adorning it as well. Finalon immediately calms down. Sylph offers him a bow.

"I hope this suits you," she asks. Finalon nods.

"Enough so to make up for the previous... indecency. I thank you," he says. Sylph nods.

"Er... well then. I think I got the hang of this thing now. Volunteers? Oh, Darius isn't back with his armor. I guess that leaves you, Vitun."

"Desna, look after me in my hour of need," Vitun murmurs as he moves forward.
>>
>>21695167
Phew. Nice change-up. Finalon, you look great.
>>
>>21695167
"What, I don't get a costume? What a shame!" Mouse loudly says as he slaps Sylph on the shoulder. "Guess I'll just be going, then!"

"Did he just drop a thumb drive into one of Sylph's pockets?" Douglas whispers to Cheryl.

"Good eyes," Cheryl murmurs. "I think he did. Care to guess why, detective?"

"Payment for services rendered," Douglas whispers. "Our Mouse has a grudge, it seems."

"Henshin!" Sylph calls out as energy envelops Vitun, withdrawing to reveal him now garbed in a somewhat revealing outfit mainly comprised of an unknown diaphanous material. Tiny diamonds hang in the fabric, appearing almost like stars in the night sky. Robes of silver and black hang down from a silvery shoulderpiece wile a diamond and onyx studded silver ring floats around his shoulder almost like a halo. The outfit is somewhat grecian in design, leaving the bare chest exposed, but clothing the rest of him, though the silhouette of much of his form is visible through the light material. A jeweled butterfly mask, the symbol of Desna herself, shrouds his face.

Alicia whistles as Lavian whispers. "I guess that's what they call a little something for the ladies."

"That's... ah..." Elaine murmurs, looking over Vitun. "That looks... very... good on you, Vitun."

Vitun flushes a little and turns to Sylph.

"I thought... I thought you said it would be added onto my armor?"

"I did even better!" Sylph says. "That IS your armor! Just in a new form!"
>>
>>21695489

Dohoho, Elaine.

Better reel it in, your spaghetti is starting to show.
>>
>>21695489
"It... it..." Vitun searches for the words.

"I did heavy research into the worship of Desna for this," Sylph nods. "The outfit is more or less a male version of the sorts of garments she wears and prefers. I have to say I like her style."

"Yes... the great dreamer... does have that," Vitun murmurs. "But... doesn't it... How am I to be protected?"

"Simple!" Sylph says, walking over and sliding a finger over Vitun's chest to hit one of the large diamonds in his shoulder clasps. Instantly shining platinum plates slide over Vitun's exposed areas. An audible groan of disappointment goes up from some of the females in the crowd. The diaphanous robes retract slightly to allow for greater range of movement. Vitun sighs in relief.

"With that feature, I like it very much," he says.

"I've got my armor," Darius booms, returning, burdened with disassembled armor pieces. He looks around. "What did I miss?"
>>
>>21695648
"Don't worry, Darius. It's all been recorded I have no doubt. I'm sure Mouse squirreled a few more cameras around here somewhere. Spike and Douglas got fancy, Vitun is female eye candy when that armor plating is retracted on his outfit, and we forgot to check the 'MALE ELF DAMNIT' box for Finalion. Fun was had by all but him."

"Better be careful you don't end up with Sororitas tit-plate, big guy."

"Sororitas ti-" Darius begins to say, frowning in deep disapproval, but Sylph grabs him by the arm and drags him towards the shop.

"I've been waiting for a long time, now! Let's see if this works!" she says, eagerly. The frown on Darius' face deepens.

"IF this works?"

"Here we go!" Sylph chirps, slamming the door shut.

A good twenty minutes later, Darius stomps out of the SHOP in full powered armor, but certainly not the same he's been wearing. Eagles and laurels are masterfully carved into the now deep silver suit everywhere, deep green emeralds are set into the armor, including a gigantic one in the chest piece. A few purity seals adorn the pauldrons, and prayers are carved in tiny script in several places on the breastplate.

The armor looks rather familiar, in truth, albeit with a different color scheme.

"It is certainly a work worthy of a master artificer, but isn't it... a bit fancy for the battlefield? These engravings offer no tactical advantage whatsoever," Darius says. "I am a fighter, not a peacock."

"Darius! I'm surprised at you!" Sylph says, putting her hands on her hips. "You of all people should know the value of an inspiring leader on the battleground! One that commands awe!"

"That... might be a point, lady," Darius admits. "And the suit does seem better crafted than my old."

"What I've done to it should boost your physical attributes by at least a factor of two," Sylph, nods, satisfied. "I know the Imperium holds special disdain for sorcery, so I wove special wards into it to guard from such."

"Ah," Darius' face brightens slightly, a rare sight for a Space Marine. "If it aids in the fight against Chaos, I appreciate it more, though... about sorcery..."

"If I used such black arts, how would those purity seals manage to stay on it?" Sylph asks, pointing. Darius nods.

"Fair point. I commend your work, Lady Sylph."

"Enough dudes!" Mouse's voice shouts from a hidden area. "Time for the ladies!"

In mere moments, Mustadio is dressed up in a silver and grey armored jumpsuit with a distinct aesthetic of smooth curves. Several gems of all colors are worked into the armor plates, and a pair of heavy-duty pouches are attached to the belt.

"Not my best work," Sylph admits with hesitance. "There isn't as much ornamentation here bec-"

"Because you knew that function and the elegance of simplicity is what I like in clothes! It's perfect!" Mustadio says, with a big smile as he taps the armored plates experimentally. Sylph looks from side to side extremely fast.

"Well, looks like we're up," Lyla says, standing. "Come on, Elaine."

"Elaine, I've got your outfit right here," Sylph says, gesturing. "Do you want to use the magic change or-"

"Shop, please!" Elaine swiftly says. Sylph nods and leads her inside. After a few moments, Sylph leads Elaine out again, Elaine clad in what is more or less, a copy of Sylph's own outfit, only tailored for Elaine. Elaine is blushing slightly.

"It's... very beautiful, but... I feel a little exposed?" Elaine asks. Sylph smiles.

"You look stunning in it! I don't hand out my personal design to just anyone, you know!" Sylph says, grinning. "It's just the right blend of modesty and tantalization for women of our class. Everything that should be covered is covered. Just enough is shown to leave no doubt you are beautiful, not enough is shown to impugn your honor!"

"I..." Elaine pauses. "I'm just so used to robes..."

"Try it for a while. I guarantee you'll like it, or I'll craft you a new set," Sylph states. Elaine nods and moves forward as Lyla moves for the shop.

"Well that get up ought to make dealing with the rehab people interesting," Cheryl snorts. Douglas frowns.

"What's that supposed to mean?" he asks. Cheryl rolls her eyes.

"Think about it, 'detective."

"Hmmm," Egon checks a watch he produces from the folds of his toga. "I wonder if those of us with our outfits can leave."

"I can't believe I'm essentially required to sit in on a fashion show," Star-Lord murmurs. "This job gets weirder and we- IS THAT LYLA?"

Walking out from the shop, Sylph trailing behind, is Lyla, now dressed in a rather revealing grecian-style outfit of flowing white cloth, a large majority of her skin exposed. Several golden bracelets and chains adorn the outfit, with a golden tiara studded with gems of every color holding back her hair.

"Go ahead," she dares, glaring at the crowd. "Get it out of your systems. Say it."

"Only if you let someone cast Silence on you," Spike states. "I don't want to test the resistances of my new suit just yet."

"You see..." Sylph breaks in. "When I see your spirit Lyla, I think fire. When I think fire, I think heat. So, a dress made for hot climates, hot spirits..."

"Can it," Lyla states. Sylph winces and stops. "I like how I look in this. But it's not a look I'd like to showcase in front of the creeps we have to fight. You were at the last world. Would you... OK, I guess you WOULD wear something like this against them."

"Do you like it or don't you like it?" Sylph asks. Lyla heaves an exasperated sigh.

"I don't KNOW. Screw it, I guess I can just tack on additional pieces for modesty's sake like Vitun's," Lyla says. Sylph winces again, then bows her head.

"I'm... sorry you weren't satisfied with the final product," she says. "You may return it if you like, I will try again."

"I'll think about it," Lyla says, sighing again before walking back.

And have you been working out, or have it just been an occupational bonus?

Sylph, if you could? Dont think fire as an erotic view, think steel. It's elegance, form, with an edge. Lyla isnt 'just' a healer, she's honed the powers she's been granted to open up cans of divine whoopass on some of the most powerful darkest influences in the meta. Think Purity, and Power. It is set with sapphires in several places, and a single large diamond on the upper portion of the breastplate. A rich blue cloak flutters from her back, emblazoned with the crown insignia of the Lionsguard that she wore so proudly on her armor. She nods with a smile at Sylph.

"Some of the best armor I have ever worn. I am very pleased with it."

Alicia and Lavian walk out in their own armor, silver and blue, respectively. Alica's has a white cloak and Lavian's a red one. In place of the prayers inscribed on Agrias' armor, Alicia's has engravings of fierce lions and knights. Lavian's has twisting roses and flowers. All three of the knights seem more than pleased.

Without the Gellar Field protection from the Warp of the Mk II, we'll have to replicate enough Pattern Scramblers to outfit the EVE Fleet and hope that it's enough.
