Returning from their Thanksgiving adventure, the party found Mr Fuzzyboots, the familiar of the long lost wizard Zelligar, waiting for them. He led them through the desert to the great pyramid of the lost city of Cynidicea, where they found evidence the Cynidiceans still lived: The body of a masked man being eaten by giant lizards, and the Brotherhood of Gorm, one of the three groups trying to restore Cynidicea to its former glory through ending the rule of The Dark One. The others, the Magi of Usamigaras and the Warrior Maidens of Madarua, also follow the old gods of Cynidicea, but the three have been unable to cooperate against the Priests of the Dark One. The party spoke with Grandmaster Kanadius who told them how Zelligar, Rogahn and Melissa were each once members of the three groups, and Zelligar and Rogahn led them in an attempt to slay the Dark One, but Rogahn died and Zelligar came back...changed.
The party's rested for a night in the upper outpost of the Brotherhood of Gorm, on the second highest tier of the pyramid.

Sun priest, present.
>>
>>21745046
If you want, you can talk to Kanadius
>>
>>21745219
Sure.

"Kanadius, if you don't mind me asking, why does everyone have a mask? Is it for religious, or perhaps cultural purposes? Do the masks help ward away evil perhaps?"
>>
>>21745263
Forgot my name.
>>
>>21745263
"Cultural, I suppose you'd call it. We've worn masks for a long, long time. Some say it was the Dark One's doing, turning all into grotesque mummers playing out their roles in each others fantasies. Others say it started when King Alexander died without issue, and his chosen successor wore a mask of the Great King's face, and eventually others did likewise."
>>
>>21745348
"I see... We found a hobgoblin corpse propping the door that leads into this place. It looked old though, so I assume you dealt with them, or your traps did. Which also reminds me, we sort of set off some of your traps getting here. I think we still have the darts from one of them, although we had to put down the fire beetles. Are there any further in we should avoid?"

"We, of course, and the Magi and Warrior Maidens, wear the masks of our gods' images. If the truth is the latter, then it is only fitting we show them honour in this way, and if it is the former, then it shows that where others live in a frivolous carnival we live out the Mysteries, bringing piety and virtue to Cynidicea."

>>21745388
"Don't go through that room to the west. You might be fine, maybe, but not your friends. On the next floor, if you must go into our chamber, before the door of lightning speak the words "By the Great God Gorm". To get there, you must press the button of this sign." He draws a symbol for you. "In the west of that level are the Magi, and to the east the Warrior Maidens."
>>
>>21745388
"And of course there are still may traps left over from the time of Alexander. We do not venture down to the fourth level for this reason. Instead, we take the secret path from the ancient brothel into the store-room, and from there reach the grand entry hall and take the tunnel down to the under-city"
>>
there's no need to fear - UNDERTHIEF IS HERE!
>>
>>21745649
>>21745544
"I thank you. We have those versed in dealing with traps, we could try to make the fourth level free of such dangers if you wish."

"If you could, did Rogahn and Zelligar speak of their time in the north? It was said that they left to attack the barbarians that attacked us many years ago."
>>
>>21745708
Hey Jenai, glad to see you on!
>>
>>21745544
>>21745649

"I thank you for the rest, mighty one. "

Jenai will record the man's word's down on a scrap of parchment, drawing a map with artist's emphasis, though it is a bit sloppy.
>>
>>21745744
"The war did not go well. Despite their own skills, they lost many men to night attacks and ambushes, and they themselves were no longer as strong or quick as they had once been. Apparently when their friend, the elf Marevak, was slain in battle, they decided to turn back"
>>
>>21745749
Ditto! Early off work, the bar's open early. for a sports game.

DM, to be clear - they say "Don't go west." Dangerous for everyone but Alvaro, maybe. The next floor must be accessed by a button with sigil on it. There, there is a chamber for Gorm with a password and on that same floor are the Magi and Maidens.

He also draws two other symbols, saying that either would take you to the other groups

(Yeah, I know, I made a mistake, posting actual symbol he drew the first time in a sec...)
>>
>>21745815
"I see. I've been trying to gather as much information on Rogahn and Zelligar after their disappearance. Hopefully Zelligar can fill me in on more, if he's in a talking mood..."

"You mentioned earlier that we shouldn't enter the west room, that most of us would be harmed except for possibly me. Why is that?"

>>21745859
Don't go through that door directly west from here, or the room just north. He explains that to get to the next floor, you take the southwest door from the central room and go down stairs.
>>
>>21745914
"There is also this trapdoor, but like the door downstairs it leads to a place sacred to us, and unless you have a great need to go I would prefer that you not go in there unless it is to join our brotherhood"
>>
>>21745914
*nodnodnod*

"What do you say, Alvaro? Up for some diplomacy and investigation?"

"Kanadian (no 'ard feelins, ey?) Kanadius-Lord, do you know what dangers await us on the next level? Or is it mostly just your people, and the Magi and the Maidens? If there are people of Gorm below, or Magi or Maidens for that matter, do you believe they will they attack us on sight, or seek to parley as your men here have?"

"I would be curious to study the wonders of Gorm, but I will respect your desires for privacy if that is your wish. Alvaro, shall we advance through the southwest passage and parley with the other people of this place?"
>>
>>21745902
"I'd not discuss it in front of him." He gestures towards Otab. Taking you into the corridor so you aren't overheard, he says "The room contains a great part of our treasury. It is guarded by deadly bees, who will sting and kill any but Brothers who enter."
>>
>>21746020
"You can be aligned to us, but cannot join as a full member of the Brotherhood of Gorm. I am sorry."
>>
>>21746039
[BEEEEEES?!]
Alvaro gives a soft laugh. "I understand. We have to keep close watch over him at times, but he means well. I think."

[What was their answer to making the fourth floor safe for them? The second part of this would be asking Jenai if she's up for helping me with that.]
>>
>>21746039
Jenai nods, grimacing sourly.

"Good thinking. The .. lustful one worries me. I will try to dissuade him from acting against you, and - barring by some mischance your people act against us first - would sooner stand by your side than his in a conflict. You have treated us honorably. I cannot speak the future, however. Time will tell."
>>
>>21746097
"I don't know. It would be useful for us to be able to travel through there, but I don't want to disrespect the dead, especially the Great King. If you can find a safe path through there, then that would helpful, yes."
>>
>>21746097
Yeah, Jenai's down with making stuff undeadly.

>>21746078
How can he tell? Is it the distinctive lack of an Adam's apple? Jenai will not press the issue.
>>
>>21746189
Might be that they're undead, or something. The dude pretty much said that he's not even sure if they're alive/normal people.

"Thank you for answering my questions." Alvaro gave Kanadius a bow, then turned to Boots. "Mr Fuzzyboots, did you bring us here because of Zelligar, or Rogahn?" He asked the cat, presenting his left hand to represent Zelligar, and his right hand to represent Rogahn.
>>
>>21746189
Do you ask out loud? He didn't say why you couldn't join, or say how he could tell.
>>
>>21746268
He nudges your left hand.
>>
>>21746324
Alvaro nods. "Does this have something to do with him being possibly corrupted, or changed? Or something to do with him being undead?" Alvaro asked the cat again, presenting his left hand when he asked the corruption question, right for the undead question.
>>
>>21746307
Sure, Jenai bristles a bit and asks "Why not?! It's cause I'm a THIEF, eh? I could be a weedy fighter, you don't know!"
>>
>>21746394
Mr Fuzzyboots shakes his head.
>>
>>21746417
Alvaro ponders for a moment. "Is it because of the evil that happened to this place? The one that is causing the Lost Ones, and the unholy priests?"
>>
>>21746411
"I do know. But that's not why, and I'm sure Pandora would agree. You can't join the Brotherhood because you can't be anyone's BROTHER."
>>
>>21746452
He nods his head.
>>
>>21746454
Jenai shuts up and glances at Alvaro to see if he heard. Then leans in to mutter.

"Yeah well keep it quiet, these clowns don't know yet. I was thinking I might have to show off the goods to the Maidens, though, maybe they'd listen to me then."
>>
>>21746529
"Maybe. Still, it is a funny thought, a woman wearing the mask of a man wearing the mask of a woman."
>>
>>21746477
Alvaro tries to piece it all together in his head for a moment, focusing on the cat and recent events. "This has something to do with him facing the evil, doesn't it?"
>>
>>21746567
Mr Fuzzyboots nods yes.
>>
>>21746454
DM, what do you think of the idea of sending Gurx to infiltrate the goblins and try to start a small revolution? Do you think I should leave that sort of thing for when we're actually delving into the Lost City?

>>21746529
This is me of course.

"Alvaro, if you're done playing with that cat - what do you think about heading back to Gygar, killing some ogres, grabbing some of that magic glowing water, and trying to talk Leod, Echo, and the rest of those folks we left in Mistamere to join us?"

"Kanadius - I wish to return when we have allies and better supplies, and try to sway the Magi and Maidens - even the greenskins - to our common cause. What say you?"
>>
>>21746583
Yes, becuase that's where they are. If you haven't found your way to the Lost City, how can you send someone beyond there?

"Very well. It seems you already know how to deal with them, and perhaps you can do the same down here."
>>
>>21746583
"Sounds fine with me. Its best to go prepared than half-cocked, after all. You wish to stay here Fuzzyboots, or go with us to town?" Alvaro asked the cat, getting up from his crouch.
>>
>>21746624
Alright. If all is well, Jenai will bow to Kanadius, wait for Alvaro to finish with the cat, get suited up with the desert gear she purchased and then head to Gygar.
>>
>>21746690
*go half-cocked

I got the answers I imagine is all the cat can give for now, if not for lack of knowledge on the cat's part than for lack of the questions on mine. I'm ready to go then.
>>
>>21746690
Fuzzyboots jumps up onto a bunk bed and goes to sleep
>>
>>21746744
"Well, that settles that." Alvaro shoulders his pack, and double checks all of his gear is in place. "I thank you for your hospitality, we shall return soon, hopefully with others, to help you." Alvaro gives one last bow to the group, before joining Jenai.
>>
>>21746769
>>21746692

I don't have a Gygar map on me, since I couldn't download them as Figgy was posting them. I'll have to assume Jenai remembers the way to get to the magic water, and to the ogres, or that she got the info from Fig somehow.
>>
You travel east to the Mistamere range. As you do so, you hear a crack of thunder, and turning you see two figures flying through the air off to the north. It's hard to see at this distance, but you think one is responsible for the thunderbolts and the other is shooting flames. Heading south along the mountains, you notice some people watching you go past.
Continue on to Gygar, hail them, or what?
>>
>>21746890
Jenai will hail them in passing.
"Hey, you guys. How's it going? Also .. what's with those flying people earlier? Shooting lightning, making fire."
>>
>>21744911
Otab showin' up
>>
>>21746890
"The fu--The hell was all that?" Alvaro asked, to mostly himself, during the fight between the two flying men.
>>21746941
Alvaro nods at what Jenai said. His war mask is currently off, on his belt.
>>
>>21746941
One stands up. "Oh, hello. We are simple mountain folk, just, uh, waiting here, peaceably. We don't know about flying people, but we saw a big red dragon flying overhead just now!"
>>
>>21746973
They weren't men. They looked a bit like birds or something...
>>
>>21746975
"Oh alright. A red dragon? Huh. Where was it going? Also, what are you all waiting for?"
>>
>>21746991
>>21746975
"Ah, so that was what that was. Guess that explains the fighting..." Alvaro shrugged, looking up into the sky again. "Hope they don't see need to spread that fighting down onto the ground..."
>>
>>21746991
A yellow and orange one?

[GONNA BE THE VERY BEST.. GOTTA CATCH EM ALL]
>>
>>21747004
"Oh, nothing much, people, FRIENDS, rather, to go past, and we say hello to them. Well, this has been quite a conversation, but look at the time, we really must be going..."
>>
>>21747048
"Ah. I guess you are tired of waiting for your friend then? I suggest sticking around for a bit longer, these passes aren't the nicest. Where were they coming from? We might of passed them on the way here hopefully, or maybe we're heading in the direction their coming from."
>>
>>21747092
"Oh, usually they come in from the east, down through this mountain pass."
>>
>>21747104
>"Oh, usually they come in from the east, down through this mountain pass
They usually join very late, down when the game is almost done.
>>
>>21747048
Sense motive, is it a thing? Do these people look dangerous? I am not walking into an ambush.

"Why don't we travel together? It's dangerous in these hills for some COMMON MOUNTAIN FOLK. Bandits, monsters, you never know."
>>
>>21747104
"Hm... Best of luck then. I hope your friends haven't been waylaid by monstrous things in these mountains."
>>21747117
Hey Echo.
>>
>>21746039
[Not being meta, but even before I read this line, My instinct was "I bet that room to the west contains loot and XP!"]
In fact, I might as well say it.
"I bet that room to the west they were talking about contains Loot and XP! Like, more Loot and XP than normal! More dangerous, sure, but more loot and XP!"

>>21746189
[OOC: Oh holy shit. So that's why I, as a player, thought Jenai was a girl. She frickin' was]

>>21746583
"This place makes me uncomfortable. There's so much Loot and Xp just here, and you guys are being friends with it so I can't get it. I may well have to come here on my own some time, since your way of handling things and my way of handling things are different."
Otab tells the group he feels uncomfortable with NOT looting things.
>>
>>21747155
>[OOC: Oh holy shit. So that's why I, as a player, thought Jenai was a girl. She frickin' was]

In times like these i turn to the sage words of master yoda.
>Matters not the outcome, in pants you will not get.
>>
>>21747155
So, finally, I reach the group.

>>21746975
"Hey! Do you guys know where Loot and Combat experience is?
Are you guys Loot or Combat experience?
I'm looking for Loot and Combat experience."
>>
>>21747142
>>>21747117
>Hey Echo.
Yo Alvaro, what up?
>>
>>21747155
>>21747174
She's keeping it hidden, so the group doesn't know of it yet.
>>
>>21747138
They could have ambushed you if they wanted. You think their motive is to get you to move along, since they don't fancy their chances fighting against you
>>
>>21747178
"Looters? Combatants? No, we're just simple mountain people..."
"WE'LL 'AVE OUR PAY, OR WE'LL 'AVE OUR FUN."
"Shut up you idiot!"
>>
>>21747192
Do they look like the type of people who would ambush OTHER travelers?

If they have more friends further ahead, it might suck to get pincered. In the interests of hurrying, if Alvaro is alright with proceeding, Jenai also is, and just keeps alert.
>>
>>21747258
Yes, possibly
>>
>>21747224
Yeah, these sound like people to go stabby on.
>>
>>21747224
Oh. At that, Jenai exchanges a look with Otab and Alvaro.

"You guys want to help make the mountain passes safe for travelers?"
>>
>>21747224
>"Looters? Combatants? No, we're just simple mountain people..."
So, the MOUNTAIN is your loot?
Holy shit you guys have it good. I'm jealous!
But I can't carry a mountain. I'll have to come back later when I'm stronger.
Who'd buy the mountain? I might need to just store it until I find a buyer.

[Otab needs to find buyers for: Mountain! As it is obviously a loot reward for dealing with these people]

>"WE'LL 'AVE OUR PAY, OR WE'LL 'AVE OUR FUN."
Dude take both. Geez. You don't know the first thing about Loot and Xp! Lemme teach you
Okay. Suppose you're fighting something. If you manage to beat them, that's combat experience, or "xp".
Now. After you beat those guys.
Anything behind them, that couldn't just walk away on its own, is loot.
My goal in life is to get lots of xp and loot!

My party thinks loot and xp is that way though.
They're probably right. Your loot is this mountain and I can't carry that. So I won't attack you. At least not until I can carry your mountain.
>>
>>21747312
>"You guys want to help make the mountain passes safe for travelers?"
FUCK no.
If this is unsafe for travellers, we'll be able to GET THEIR LOOT when we come through here.
>>
>>21747178
"I must say I'm surprised that you are so obsessed with finding experiences. Most don't value wisdom, sadly, even though it is necessary to a fulfilling life." Alvaro commented to Otab.

>>21747258
Well... We can't really /prove/ they are bandits. That's the problem. I'm fine with moving on, but Alvaro isn't happy about it.

>>21747224
Alvaro gives his SUN PRIEST GLARE OF REPENTANCE.
>>21747312
"Sounds good with me."

[By the way, forgot spells. CLW and Prot Darkness]
>>
>>21747224
Jenai draws her bow and points it at the not-so-subtle bandits, Gurx draws a javelin, and Yrin preps her sword and shield.

"Give up your weapons and your coins and go find a better line of work, fellas. *I* don't want to hurt you - but my friend here with the magic powers thinks you look like gold coins and so much meat-to-be."
>>
>>21747349
Otab has his dogs growl and point at Jenai, and stands with Sleep at the ready.

"If these are Bandits, they are fellow spirits to one such as I. I would advise you lay down your arms and leave them be.
They'll collect Loot for us."
>>

"I think we should head back to town, take the chance to heal up a bit."

Group consensus? I feel like, IC, Jenai would need some time to get over betrayal - even if she didn't like Otab, she didn't think he'd try to kill her. She is gonna eat that cigarette, then get up and be ready to go to Gygar though.

I'm fine with continuing to Gygar. I still have the scroll of striking, and we have what Otab had on him. I think a few potions? Striking is doubled with sneak attack damage, so we can still get the ogres, if we're smart about it. I still have protection from evil as well.

Also, I still really want a flask of magic water.

"Hm. I wouldn't snag those sapphires just yet."
each is 100gp?
>>
>>21750348
The gems aren't magical. The fake bargle still radiates magic though, and the whole south part of the room has a sort of magic aura around it.

In the southeast corner there is a door east.

There are no traps on the desk, but Echo detects in the southwest corner of the room is a secret door south
>>
>>21750401
yes, so 300gp in total
>>
>>21750430
"Don't mess with the south! It might be some sort of magical alarm."

Jenai checks the desk out, and the fake Bargle, and the ogre.
>>
>>21750430
"So, what now?" Alvaro asks as he puts the flask back. He checks the dead ogre looks at the dead fake Bargle. "Should we... Poke it or something?"
>>
>>21750508
"Oie say we bag et an store em for later"

I break a leg off the table and toss it into the southern part of the room.
>>
>>21750482
The fake bargle was apparently even before being smashed a fairly crude statue only in a vaguely human shape without details. The fingers, of which the first on the right hand is missing, are jagged and sharp.
The ogre has 15gp on him.

>>21750533
Nothing happens
>>
>>21750550
Anything special about his robe? As a cleric, do I have any insights about what happened here with Fake Bargle? If not, would Echo's retainer, Vespin?
>>
>>21750550
>>21750533
"It might be triggered by a living being passing - an alarm, or possibly a deadly spell. We won't know until we pass through. Where else might we go first? The kobolds said something about a knight, and about another one of these - twins."
>>
>>21750550
I shrug then sweep as best as i can the remains of crazy bargle into a small sack, then I carefully take the bag of devouring out of the bottom of my pack and put crazy dead bargle in it.

"an That's how you handle azzerdous mages mates."
>>
>>21750593
You think it's some kind of golem, with an illusion cast upon it. The robes are fairly simple but garishly coloured and patterned, like a mummer's costume of a wizard
>>
>>21750612
There is now a cloud of broken glass flying through the astral plane
>>
>>21750633

>>

Alvaro laughed. "Guess that's one problem solved.
>>
>>21750659
Leod chuckles as well. "Perhaps I was wrong in insisting that you get rid of it, aye."
>>
"So, where too now? Only exists here are south, and there seems to be magic south." Alvaro asked the group.
>>
>>21750720
Also, if you go back north, there's a passage east (or back west to the Kobold temple)
>>
>>21750430
"I would like to lewk at that secret door" I say pointing at it.

"An ignore that east door, only a snake lady thru thar, and only chuck n I have periscope helms
>>
>>21750743
"Sounds good to me." Alvaro checks his gear and readies to travel again.
>>
>>21750743
The door opens into the middle of the north wall of a 30' by 20' room. To your west is another door, at the northenmost end of that wall. The room is dominated by a great stone coffin, with the effigy of a bearded wizard holding a wand in one hand and an icosahedral stone in the other.
>>
>>21750733
>>21750720

The southeast door here leads to the Gorgon. Let's not go that way.

"Jenai, could you check this room? I don't want to be killed in the dark by wicked machinery."
>>21750817
"Ah, thank you."
>>
>>21750817
You determine that if the lid is lifted, a mechanism will open several small holes around the base of the coffin, probably releasing poison gas
>>
>>21750817
Mostly around the coffin and the door to the West.
>>
>>21750845
*grumble grumble* Poison *grumble* gas *grumble*
"Everyone, stay clear. Do you all think we should open it with the pole or grapple line, or should I try my hand at disarming it?"

(DM , I was never clear - if I fail to disarm a trap, does the trap go off on me? If so - Jenai will tell everyone to back off, and then use the grapple line to hook the lid and yank it off from afar.)
>>
>>21750916
It depends on the trap. This one, I'd say no, it's not easy to set it off without lifting off the lid
>>
>>21750916
Well, we could just stopper and seal the holes with wax?
>>
>>21750916
Aigh Jenai, try tah disarm it if naught than its the poken pole fer et.
>>
>>21750956
I instruct chuck to get the saphire gems off the previous table.
>>
>>21750974
Chuck retrieves the gems, and you don't notice anything odd happen to him
>>
>>21750937
Would Jenai know if she'd failed to disarm it? I don't want to meta, but if she couldn't be sure - I'll say she plays it safe and yanks off the lid with the grapple.

"Hey, you guys should just go back and grab the sapphires, if they're not magic and there're no traps on em - which, I mean, why would there be? - they should be safe. Maybe put 'em in a bag or something to keep for Figgy."
>>
Alvaro watches the room intently. "I don't know anything about disarming traps, but be careful." He's watching the coffin intently, a hand on one of the wooden stakes on his belt. "Think there's more vampires about...?"
>>
>>21751007
Hmm, I'd say you'd be pretty confident. The only time I'd say you've disarmed a trap and then hit you with one is if something's trapped multiple times and you didn't know
>>
Rolled 51, 7 = 58

>>21751007
gurx and Jen will try to disarm, then if failing yank with grapple.
>>
>>21751064
Jenai is able to rig it so removing the lid doesn't take pressure off the mechanism, disabling the trap
>>
>>21751047
What I only detect the topmost trap level ? ;_; thieves must die like flies. What about Baldur's gate, where walking into a room lights all the traps up in red?
>>
>>21751093
Jenai rubs palms together and opens that sucker.
>>
>>21751154
Alvaro stands besides Jenai, mace at ready in case of any tricks.
>>
>>21751154
Inside the coffin is a skeleton, in the rotted remains of a burial shroud. It has a gold ring with a ruby on its right hand. The coffin is filled with coins, probably 900sp and 60gp

Doesn't the magic water usually glow blue... Weird. Does it glow blue around me?

Also, Lore check on ring!
>>
>>21751258
I'd have to go through your magic items and try to figure out what I decided they glow like.

You think the ring involves protective magic, probably Protection from Fire
>>

Cursed? Check Fig's ring of strength.
>>
>>21751229
Do we know what the colors mean yet?

Jenai will lift the skeleton's arm, then slip the hand into a small sack, shaking until the ring comes loose.

Proceeds to fill sack with coins also.
>>
>>21751286
I don't have any magic items on me besides my holy scrolls and myself. Everything else is mundane.

>>21751287
I actually didn't say what colour aura that one had.

I'll go with purple as it was made by an undead creature

>>21751328
Deep blue? I like blue for magic shields

>>21751332
Oh, and you fill 2 big sacks and part fill a small sack with the coins

This is the wizard Gygar, who founded this castle centuries ago and ruled Mistamere as a great and just lord.

Jenai will crack the door open quietly and peek.
>>
>>21751454
This was after the fall of Cynidicea by the way
>>
>>21751467
You see a 30 foot by 20 foot room. The entrance is in the southernmost part of this wall. At the west end of the north wall is an exit.
You see the back of a statue of a knight
>>
>>21751407

"Woah there nerdicon, you been sneaking around studying behind our backs or something? I feel a bit bad now taking his ring and his gold, but I guess he'd want good folks like us to free his castle from evil types, and fund ourselves while doing it."
>>
>>21751454
Alvaro relates this to the group, although they may already know, or have guessed. "If I am indeed right, I don't think the ring should be cursed. Don't see a reason someone would curse a ring if they were a good person, unless by accident."

"I would of preferred a regular burial, but I suppose that would suffice." Alvaro shrugged. "Either way, I only hope that it was a simple construct and not anything else. If it was a simple construct, it was probably for the best to remove it then I suppose, as it would attack anyone who would draw near the tomb, good or bad in mind."

>>
>>21752009
This room is about 60 feet by 40 feet, but the south side is irregular and there's a triangular section heading out east.
The northeast corner of the room is 20 feet east of you. The east wall then goes south for 10 feet, and then there is a diagonal wall section, which in 40 feet east goes 10 feet south. There, at the end, is a closed door. South of the door, the wall curves convexly to the southwest. After 80 feet to the west it's gone 10 feet south, and after that the wall goes west 20 more feet. The west wall is 40 feet long and is aligned with north, and the wall to your west meets it after 30 feet
>>
>>21752073
The middle of the west wall is covered in water flowing down from above. The westmost 20 feet of the room is flooded, but the floor is raised so that the pool is made narrower, and directly in front of you is only 5 feet wide. After another 10 feet, it's a foot wide gutter, heading under the door to the east.

What do you do?
