Born of Zanzia quests, I present to you Zaritonia! Welcome to the revolution, friends!

Following posts will contain information on the history of our nation. Opening post contains introduction & Rules.

------------------
1950s, after Japanese occupation followed by an American "liberation," the isle of Zari has had a pro-American government installed. The Federal Republic of Zari (FRZ) has close ties to the United States of America.

Tired of American subjugation and seeing the government as weak, bands of rebels have taken to the forestry. Some have found support and shelter of old German refugees living out of a forgotten base on the north, cliff heavy coast lines.

It is time to unite and rise up. Time to throw off the Capitalist, Japanese sympathizing pigs of America and the FRZ.
------------------

Rules time!

-Everyone of you represents a collection of commanders/politicians/people. You are welcome to make your own character or just anonymous post.
-Actions will be rolled on by me. (EG: if 6 actions are made, I will roll 6 dice in a single roll [ignoring total.]
-The best ideas or most supported ideas will be rolled for.
-You are rebels. Think like rebels. Your resources are limited.

FOR COUNTRY AND WORLD! THROW OFF THE PIGS!
>>
Focus on two things. Gaining support in local villages and infiltrating a lesser seaport. We want to gain control of the customs officers there so we can gain access to outside support.
>>
>>21858756
Gott verdammt. Wrong picture.
>>
Has the flag been chosen?
>>
Viva la revolution!

Also, are the white bits above the jungle mountain? Which hex is the volcano in?
>>
>>21858696
What is our ethnicity?
>>
>>21858785

we don't need to make the sea port a priority, we have the hidden sub pen with some U-boats in it. they could be used for smuggling and messing up the americans supply lines.

but yes, we need to send representitives to the villiages, they are the ones who are suffering the most from the pigs occupations of our glorious nation.
>>
>>21858785
Seconding this, with the addition that we establish a permenant base on the North island (hex:2304) to conduct operations from
>>
>>21858860
Or possibly the town on the south island (hex:2418)
>>
>>21858856
im assuming the hidden Sub pen will be supporting the rebel movement and not the current government?
If so we shouldn't focus on gaining a sea port that only opens us up to attack by the US navy. Assuming they are throwing their full support behind the current government.

Alright, I was going to post a link to sup/tg/'s archives of the history rather than fill this thread. The damned site won't load for me. Fuck. I'll link it later.
------------

Resources for this game.
-500 men spread out in the jungle

-Limited weapons
--300x Type 99 Rifles left behind by the Japanese
--100x M1 Garands stolen from FRZ given to by the US Govt.
--50x Thompson SMGs
--2x Type 92 heavy machine gun
--3x Type 97 81 mm infantry mortar
--1x Type 97 automatic cannon [Yes they are both Type 97?]
--Limited ammunition for anything "heavy" (Type 97s, Type 92)
--Adequate ammunition for normal weapons

-Food and supplies
-2x 2-ton supply trucks
-1x civilian car
>>
First things first. Do we have access to the U-boat pens, and any hardware stored there? Also, we should have some rebel groups in the swamps, along with some villages that still house the Resting Ones.
>>
>>21858883
>>21858856
For that matter, where is this hidden sub pen? Or are we yet to make contact with it
>>
>>21858883
>>21858876
I feel like we should focus on getting some men allong the roads. That way we can harrass their troop movements and such when we decide to take a major city. You know IED's and ambushes to slow the deployment of reinforcements. Also eyes along the road can help us watch for major deployments and troop movements as well as help us determine which areas might be weaker (if alot of troops and such leave the area)
>>
>>21858883
Hidden Sub Pen is a rumor, we do not know it exists right now. Only a rumor...

>>21858813
It has but we're not to that period. All flags until then are "temporary" rebel flags.

>>21858829

Idea: We should infiltrate all facets of society. We should have our people join the military, the courts, and the media. Start small and build influence from within. Eventually our people will gain rank and influence. This will allow us to both gain intel from The Enemy, as well as granting us access to their resources. When the Rev gets into full swing, our infiltrators come into play and suddenly military assets are made available to a public angry at the capitalist jerkwads who are currently oppressing us.

Or something like that. We should also see if any sympathetic Zaritonian populations abroad could drum up support for us in some way or another(campaigns designed to raise funds and awareness for example).
>>
>>21858889

have we made contact with the german u-boat crews yet?

we should send a small scout squad to hex 2214 to watch the road, find out how often supplies are moved from glory harbour to the two units in 2812 and 3212.

I suggest we start dividing up and organizing our forces, perhaps into dedicated HMG, and mortar groups. Perhaps even some small infantry forces to do what >>21858922 suggested and begin harassing our oppressors. However, I suggest we first gain the peoples support and collecting intel, check out these rumors of a submarine base (it might contain vital vital weapons and supply's, things we are in need of). and scout out our enemy's forces, any nearby locations to raid force supplies in the near future.
We should also work on finding a more dedicated base from which to conduct operations, but nothing too permanent for now since we don't have the resources to protect ourselves.
>>
We should search the mountain side for more caches of left behind equipment
(And that rumored sub pen. You know the one I mean.)
>>
>>21859008

>>
>>21859093
A force org chart probably couldn't hurt. Divide our forces into machine gun, mortar, rifle companies and raiding/commando groups.
>>
>>21858964

It would give us a huge advantage, but, it might get too confusing figuring out who supports who and who is really on our side.. unless... we begin organizing an intelligence network, have them work in the city as everyday people. In time as we begin to conduct guerrilla warfare, we would have a web of information flowing to us telling is vital information such as where forces are located, and when raids or attacks on us are coming. This is something I think we should seriously consider. Good idea.
>>
The island at 0411 to 0810 is a US Navy base of some kind, correct? That should be our fist target.
Reasons are:
1. With the rebels not having come into the open the base should not be alert.
2. The base would have additional munitions and equipment to make removing the remaining elements easier and prevent outside interference by US forces.
3. The base would have the only other heavily armed group on the island(other than the hidden U-boat pens, how do we not know about these things? I mean, this is OUR island, at the very least the Resting Ones would know, what with know every centimeter of swamp on the island).

We should try to see if we have people willing to die for the cause, Suicide raid groups. Send them on missions we know they won't come back from where they can do the most possible damage..
Just saying.. Works for the muslims.
>>
>>21859192
Yeah, basically we spam sleeper agents until such time as we basically ARE this that or the other essential service. Fight them in the streets and at the docks with a general strike, and in the jungles and swamps with our rifles and knives.

i'm not really a millitary expert but here is my idea for force organisation...

Scout Squad x 10
20 men armed with t99 rifles

Ambush Squad x 2
50 men armed with 25 Thompsons and 25 M1 Garands

Fire Support Squad x 1
30 men armed with 3 t97 81mm morter and 15 t99 rifles

Defence Squad x 2
50 men armed with a t92 HMG and 49 t99 rifles

Anti Tank Squad x 1
20 men armed with 1x t97 cannon and 19 M1 Garands

Infiltrators x 25
2 man cells, have access to M1 Garands and t99 rifles
>>
Same guy as >>21859093 >>21859192

>>21859206

Well according to the map, we are stuck in the center (1814) with two trucks, a car, and 500 under equipped and untrained forces. Perhaps we should start smaller.

If anything, we should also figure out a long term strategy, and any short term tactics that will help us start achieving some goals.

I still vote for organizing our troops and forming an intelligence network.
>>
>>21859309

We need to announce our intent for freedom. Conduct a multi pronged attack.
1) Take over a Radio Station and put the word out
2) Blow up a local police station.

we should not attack the Americans yet. The people are not with us. They would show up with their men with money and jackals with weapons and crush us extremely quickly. We need to get the people on our side first... then the tide of revolution will be on our side.
>>
Mobile Mortar Group x3:
15 Men
1 Mortar
4 Cases Mortar Rounds(Various)
1 Thompson SMG
3 M1 Garand
-Group broken down to:
Gun Section
11 Men to Carry and Action the Gun and Ammuntion
4 Men for security section
Gun is to be mobile and retreat rathar than stand if attacked.(reason for so many men at the gun, those things are HEAVY, many hands make light work)

so that is 45 men all three mortars 9 M1's and 3 Thomsons.
>>
>>21859382
Blowing up the police is not a good way to get the public on your side unless they are extremely atrocious towards our people. We should send recruiting parties to every village.
>>
Still here. prepping next post. anything past this wont be in the next turn.
>>
>>21859382

and how does blowing up our fine law enforcement agencies help this goal? should we not raid one of the western pigs lapdogs bases? then not only will we strike a blow to the bloated pigs, but we will also make ourselves stronger with the supplies we would liberate from their base!
>>
>>21859459
Because the police are our people. They may have taken the Occupiers coin, but they are still us. Harm not a Zaritonian if it can be helped.
>>
>>21859343

My recommendation...
200 men divided into 50 teams of 4. [Urban Sensors]
4 Men teams to move into the cities, who will take a clandestine census, report on the sentiment of each neighborhood. Earn people's sympathies covertly, and build a network of safe houses to store weapons and personnel in the villages and towns.

100 man force, divided into 25 teams of 4 [Saboteurs]
Arm them with M1 Garands. They will attack police at check points, and when a sensor cell detects a good opportunity, they will conduct sniper attacks. As we get explosives, they can start destroying telephone lines etc.

200 man force, divided into 2 Companies, of 100 each.
They will train, and become proficient with the weapons we have, and remain in the jungle. So when fighting happens, we will have the best opportunity to win.
>>
>>21859442
>>21859459
this

blowing up the police isn't helping anyone, except to stir some of the population against us.
Raiding the Americans and bolstering our numbers through recruitment seems like a sane choice.

If we really want to strike against some official government institutions at least make sure beforehand that we pick one that is openly corrupt so we have public oppinion on our side.
>>
>>21859536
>>21859459
>>21859442

While obviously not a popular choice... please consider history. America has no problem sending their Marines and worse to places like our home... and all out murdering them. Or cousins to the south in the Philpense were occupied by them for a hundred years. Is that what you want? You want to provoke them into sending armed groups of highly trained, highly equipped soldiers to sweep through here? We must defeat America politically, and defeat the traitorous puppet government physically.

Show me a group that attacked the americans, and then followed with a successful rebellion? No my friends. It would just provoke them, and cause them to bring more forces, and make airfields, and bigger naval yards. Like what is going on with Guam now.

You are probably right. Could I give some angry lectures in class, to maybe win some converts? Marx seems like a good start. Maybe arrange a meeting with a guy named Ho Chi Minh? He was pretty popular.

The characters idea was the old man, who is way over educated, and becomes a barbarian militant.. hacking the arms off the inoculated village etc.
>>
>>21859830
We need to make contact with our friend in the sub pens, it was their leadership and not they, after all, who left us to the mercies of the Japanese and now the Americans. Surly we can provide a nicer place for them to sleep than a rank bunker? And do not forget women, the Resting Ones may not be out of practice in any of their arts.

Also, I am representing traditionalist faction of the rebels, those who still respect the old ways, and honor the Mother and her Sisters.
>>
>>21859830
That poor man's ears... kiss hearing from his right side goodbye.
>>
Some of our sleeper agents should try inspiring revolutionary spirit in the people. This is best done discreetly, such as through leaflets stuffed under doorways under cover of darkness, or through the arts(plays, stories and such). Maybe have a few book clubs started. Officially these are meant to inspire and facilitate literacy, and to help readers correspond with one another(and their favourite authors). One or two of these clubs is used for the clandestine dissemination of information and recruitment. Obviously we have to be beyond hyper-vigilant about who we let join us, but we would certainly benefit from hiding in plain sight.
>>

I make the suggestion we move into the mountains, 1811 seems like a good spot. If any of the towns, I specifically request 1910, 2009-10 border, and the 1411-12 border, and the 2011-12/2112 border towns all be checked out, perhaps using the spies we have put in place, see what support we can gain from the locals there.

I think the Resting Ones should try to turn some of the Marines at the Navy Base. Not make them supporters yet, just get a little bit of information here and there. Expected supply times, when they generally send reports to the mainland, how often a navy task group is in the area. Generalized stuff, maybe turn them full rebels later.

We need to get some handguns too though, our sleeper agents have power with those rifles but not a lot of concealed ability.
>>

Indeed. Sending a few of our comrades to study in the GDR or Russia might be rather advantageous to our cause.

Fear of persecution despite not firing a shot, i stayed with the other refugees in the old german base, and later after hearing about what the American's were doing in this island, joined in with the rebels.
(Wouldnt we have german weapons at the old german base though?)
>>
>>21860245
And, the best chance to do that is to use the German Refugees that're among the rebels with the 'first contact' team. Which is just a scouting team because we dont know its occupied.

The "Rangers" are meant to be a stealthier guerrilla raiding force composed of anyone with significant combat and fieldcraft experience. Until we get some LMG's, the rifle companies are basically just gunlines with SMG's for the NCO's.

I think it would be worthwhile to and start drafting up a declaration of revolution. Stow away in the library and write away. Use Jefferson as an inspiration of course. The idea is to take it into the hills, and make good with the fighters, then get them to agree to it.

we should stay away from communism/socialism, both of those have treated us poorly. Communism with defeating our friend, and socialism for spurning us. A kind of Imperialist Monarchy is probably what we most identified with prior to WWII, what with both the U.K. and Germany having claimed us as a colony.
I'm not saying not to USE socialist or communist support, just that it isn't what we believe.

You might not be too versed in recent history but our Chinese comrades had more than enough trouble at home that hindered them from coming to the aid of a small island state. The same goes for our Russian comrades. We might have an ideology but we aren't detached enough from reality to see this island as having global significance. But even without global significance this island's people deserve better than oppression under various Imperialist regimes. Some lighter some harder, it doesn't matter, it is still oppression.
What this island's people need, and deserve is a government by the people to the betterment of all. And this is what the socialist revolution shall bring.

The Japanese pressed their heel's against our necks after they grew to hate the Germans, and when the GIs landed, they sent the Japanese packing, only to replace the boot.

They set weak puppets up as a 'Free Zaritonia' who only ever follow the GIs interests. The people cry out for their mothers, and her sons steel their hearts. We cannot let us be no more than a tool to someone, we Are free, we Are Zaritonia!

And we need help, Old Friends.

>>
>>21861309

I knew we knew about them, but we didnt know about this hidden one, which is what I was referring too. They certainly are not using a hidden submarine base as a vacation hot spot.
>>
>>21861265
That's not exactly anti-tank, the Type 97 Auto Cannon only had 30mm of AP at 250m, by this time tanks routinely had over 60mm of armor even on the flanks. It would be better teamed up with an LMG and used as part of an ambush force against APC's or as a light anti air asset.
>>
>>21861356
So more...
Not Anti-Tank but used in the Ambush teams to prevent trucks from escapeing.
A shot from the 97? Engine block, wheels, ect.
Makes it harder to hide, and could just outright get rid of looting potential when you destroy the engine block, but they dont escape.

We should hit our oppressors as soon as possible. A revolution cannot survive without food and weapons and a flame to light the revolutionary spirit. Old friends we would never betray your trust. However we obviously cant speak the same for the americans. Wouldn't your best chance to avoid capture be to help us free our home from the GI's? We dont want to pressure you and your men into a decision but we could sorely use your help and think ridding our island of these imperialists would serve us both.
>>
>>21861383

remember, 'an action in haste is an action in waste'. we must prepair first.
let us say we attacked now. they find out that one of their convoys has been attacked. let us assume that some of the convoy escapes. they now know where they were ambushed and by who. they will then begin to hunt us down. at the moment we have sparsely any defences or deterents so we would be severly cripled when they eventually find us. i suggest that we plan for these moves, create false hides, ambush a convoy on one road, allow it to get reinforcements and then ambush them at a diffrent location. make them focus on one location while we attack another. tricks within tricks, lies within truths. our enemy believes that numbers will win over anything. so we will chip away at the granite block that is their numbers, then when they are reduced to mere pebbles, we will show them what use their numbers were.
>>
>>21861292
>>21861322
>>21861383

True. This is a pressing matter. See if our agents know anything about supply's being moved about in the areas. Preferably over stocked and under protected.
Then we should organize who will take on this ambush (what troops we should take, strategy for the ambush, unless we are leaving this all up to the dice, if planning even helps.)

There are others amongst us that were also avoiding surrender, they have helped shelter us as we have protected them.

We ask that you men train us as you are able, and we will in turn bring you food and news of the outside world. We will not demand that you take up your arms with us, only that we can return to the relationship we had before world war one as brothers, sisters, and friends.

I was not suggesting we be foolish merely quick. IF we take too much time planning they may entrench their possitions further. Also the longer we take the harder it may be to get the people on our side. We should plan appropriately, I agree, but we cannot waste time on idle disagreements about ideology. We must unite for the time being, we have a revolution to start and our people to free for the swamp's sake!

Five long years is a long time.

Its foolish to strike without proper backing and momemtum though, we shall hold off on your U-boats until we can really use their strength, as for Crewmen, the Zari people are born of the sea, fire in our veins and strong of work ethic, We are your crewmen, all it takes is the time to train us.

The Zari Navy will be a thing to be proud of, with your help our German brother from another mother. As for women? Control of the bed is a Zari woman's right, if she wants you she will have you, you can never change that. But control over lust will be an easy thing for german soldiers, the men of iron that we've long admired.

Well I guess I'm going to play a Japanese Ro-100 submarine captain that was sunk off the northern Zaritonian coast.

I'm Captain Ryoma Hokkaido formerly, of the 71st Submarine Flottilla of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Born and raised on Okinawa, I have come to hate the Japanese as much as the Americans after I learned of their treatment of my people during the Allied invasion of my island home. Inexperienced, but with no lack of tallent for command, my Ro-100 submarine was one of the last launched during the war as a part of a desperate attack at American supply lines. My crew and I managed to down a single US troopship before it was heavily damaged by depth charges from a destroyer. We limped our way past Taiwan and eventually came to rest in a lagoon in Zaritonia. The crew went our seperate ways, most returned to Japan after the war, but I chose to instead remain in Zaritonia.

All the while, some of our supporters should try to get letters in the local media to drum up support for our cause.

3: Contacting smugglers. 3+

forgot my trip. As for the mortars, perhaps it would be better to parcel them out to a unit as needed. For now at least, until we can start making our own launchers and ammo(but for that we need to either capture, subvert, or build a factory).
>>
The mortars had a range of about 3km, that's pretty nice if you need some cover while falling back and didn't want to worry about your support being taken out.
Also please to only use the mortars during a daytime ambush, if we don't attack the Navy base first. The flash is pretty easy to see at night and the last thing we want is counter battery fire by some 105's or 155's.
>>
>>21863429
No worries, I didn't assume it was in any way malicious.

Too bad the random event didn't pan out.

No random.

You succeed on setting up a smuggling importation ring in Port. Authorities have not caught on.

You have contacted a group of smugglers willing to import through China for you. Another group can get you drugs from Vietnam.
>>
>>21863499
fucking dice...wish they didn't stay
>>
>>21863499
I report this to my superiors and ask for a consensus on who we should work with.

We could use the income from the drugs. but we would be polluting our island with that filth.
>>
>>21863499
Drugs are 'ok' but its only a big money maker if you can be a distributor or farmer.
What would we import through china?
>>
do we have any information on the enemy base at 1212?
if not i would like to request a team of scouts gather some intelligance about the enemy presence there, as i believe it would be an opertune location for our first major millitary operation of this campain.
i prepose that a third of our forces attack on mass with the goal of liberating as much supplies as possiable, trying to cause as little collateral damage as possiable. another third of our forces, using the ambush site at 1416, preform a 'hit and run' strike on the flank of any reinforcement convoy. this should cause a considerable amount of confusion in the enemies command structure, crippling their effectiveness for a counter attack. the remaining third of our forces should be in reserve, able to be deployed incase something should go wrong.

(this will be all for me tonight as i am supposed to get up in 3 hrs for a contract... don't run the rebellion into the ground while i'm gone. i'll check in before i leave...)
>>
>>21863499
sell those drugs to for funding? Or should we just avoid them since it might be bad for publicity?
>>
>>21863561
>>21863592
I would probably steer clear off drugs for the time being, unless we become really hard pressed for money.
>>
ctrl+s = instant spoilers - thanks cat for showing my this by accident.

1212 is a naval air facility. It used to be an Japanese airfield, further expanded upon. Long enough to land B-29s if need be. The port is large enough for destroyers and lighter.
>>
>>21863561
Production equipment. The village at 2418 should do nicely for small scale production, plus it's on the opposite side of the main island from the Navy Base. It is also mostly swamp land, letting us disguise the factory and booby trap the rest of the island
>>

If you need explosives for ambushes, We can part with a pair of torpedo warheads, 280kg of explosives each.. Do with these what you will. Although we cannot gurantee detonation or stabillity outside of a torpedo housing.
>>
>>21863648
New target, this shit needs to go down, preferably with a ship in harbor that we can liberate.
Resting Ones starting up a 2nd mission near 1212.
Srsly guys, air recon and attack is not something we are setup to handle, that means bad news unless Fallschi's men are willing to part with their AA machine guns.

I think we can afford to avoid being part of heroin-smuggling operations from Indochina for the time being(remember, this is 1950, it's still a French colony). Besides, I'm sure there are plants native to Zaritonia that can be used for recreational purposes without causing harm to the user so long as moderation and safety are taken into consideration. But before we work out our country's drug policy, how heavily defended is that airfield?
>>
Just a sympathetic head of a small village here.

>>21863735
I agree with this, the youth of my village are trouble enough when they get their hands on drink. I would not abide our legitimate cause becoming a glorified drug ring.
>>
>>21863940
Though if you mean growing and exporting drugs only, well the farmers here won't turn down a lucrative cash crop.
>>
>>21863735

Peaceful protest has turned violent! It is unclear what sparked this... both sides clashes, a few protestors were killed. Several local tribes have spoken out against the local government's Military Police. FRZ has reprimanded those responsible with two weeks paid leave.

-------------------

Sleeper agent reports there will be a major US Arms convoy heading from the airport in 1212 to Glory Harbor. Limited escort.
>>
>>21863763
Idea: Ambush a supply convoy on its way to the airbase and loot it, turning what we don't liberate into a burning roadblock. When troops are dispatched to clear the wreckage and investigate, snipe at the troops and melt into the wilderness, leading any would-be pursuers on a wild goose chase(which itself would be an opportunity to bleed the enemy with booby traps and hit-and-run attacks)..
>>
>>21864117
Let's see if we can combine these two.
Have our sleepers stir up the populace even more in regards to the violence.

Then prepare to ambush the convoy. If we succeed make the word go round (and maybe use leaflets if we have the possibility) that make clear that the ambush on the convoy was a direct retaliation for the FRZ and their allies killing innocent protesters.

It gives us some justification and maybe will put the US forces and the MP up against each other while they try to blame each other for the mess.
>>
>>21864117
>>21864066

With that, all actions are done. Further ones won't be referenced next game, however, I happily recommend in-character or out-of-character discussions. Just know actions will be lost.

Yeah, no. While letters are being written to local and regional media outlets pointing out the absurdity of this injustice, we should also look into procuring our own printing press and radio station, as to ensure that we can not be silenced. Could the smugglerbros hook us up with any relevant equipment?

That's what I was wondering. We also could probably steal various shipments from the port, depending on how large of a press we're discussing.

I'd also like to get some rifles from the Chinese. SMGs are good and all, but nothing survives swamps and poor maintenance like a good old' fashioned bolt-action beauty.

>>21864117
Setup ambush, close @ 1214 with all 3 mortars and the autocannon in support. Attack and suppress the escort troops and eliminate any jeeps carrying radios.
Enfilading fire from the swamp and trees, keep the HMG's @ 1314 to prevent re-enforcement via the airbase. The assault party should be equipped with Thomson's, HE on the mortars or Airburst frag if we have any, want to take as much intact as we can. Kill anyone who runs, station additional men around the kill-box to prevent runners, anyone who surrenders will be stripped of weapons and gear and be escorted back to the air base. Let the Puppets fear the People! Viva la Resistance!

U-Boat enthusiast here. The most likely candidates for U-Boats to have survived the war in this area would have been U-122 and U-519, if I remember correctly.

Both were Type IX, which were designed for longer patrols in open ocean, and neither have been recovered. They most likely were sunk in the Atlantic... but you never know.

I was just passing through and figured you'd appreciate my trivial contributions.

I found one off google, over laid it, then customized it to fit. Only because I was lazy. I could of hand made it too but I didn't want to spent all night numbering it. (Making a hex grid is easy.)

Inquisitor's team. I tried running a (to large) dark heresy game.

It worked as such.

-DM-
-Co-DM-
-Meta-PCs-
-DH Players-

Basically I ran an entire system. Meta-players did things kinda like we have here in our quest.

Eldar Meta PC sends out a squad of rangers to abduct civilians to find location to something?

The Sector Commander PC finds out of mysterious happenings. Puts a ship on stand-by and sends it off to Inquisition PC.

Inquisitor then says this is worth her time and sends my players on their duty.
...

...

...

Needless to say it was to much to run and only lasted for 6 months or so. Was fun but yeah. I still use the same sector and all since I made shit for it.

I would avoid any direct military action until we've secured as much popular support as possible. Remember, once this becomes a flat-out civil war, we need to be sure that we have more assets than our enemies, and that includes the possibility of US intervention.
>>
>>21872170
>More assets than our enemies
>USA
Can I have what your smoking, please?
>>
>>21872170
To an unhappily occupied population, guerilla hit-and-run tactics do not seem as dishonorable as they do to the people of a heavily militarized nation. The rebels would be able to grow popular support by stealing shipments from their "oppressors," rather than losing support for seeming too radical.

Actions speak louder than words, and only by showing some backbone can we hope to drum up any solid support.
>>
>>21872225
He means the FRZ not the USA.
More assets then the bootlickers.
>>
>>21872225
Obviously we won't have more assets than the USA, but we can have more assets than the forces they are willing to deploy to protect this regime.

>>21872375
There will be a time to fight, once it is clear we have popular support, and when we choose that time to fight, our first strike must be quick and effective, but also leave room (both practical and political) for our enemies to turn sides.
>>
>>21872598
Yeah, i think getting to know more about the FRZ armies opinion on working under the US and their superiors would be the better next step then attacks.
