TEEGEE DRAGON QUEST IS BACK BABEH (I apologise for my massive absence. I've been buried under Uni work and whatnot. And yes I did just fuck up the post.)

Greetings Fatguys and Catgirls, and welcome BACK to /tg/'s Dragon Quest!

Part 1: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21105648/
Part 2: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21120178/
Part 3 :http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21139200/
Part 4: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21191520/
Part 5: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21310936/

This is Halmorra, a continent home to all manner of creatures great and small, smart and dumb, peaceful and violent. And none are greater, smarter and capable of more violence than Dragons.

Capable of living for thousands of years, there are no more than a hundred or so of these creatures in existence. Titans of Nature, Primordial forces, Living Storms, Winged Death, Benevolent Healer, a Dragon can be all of these things.

LAST TIME, ON /tg/'s Dragon Quest you:

>Went swimming
>fucked up a locket
>possessed your best friend
>scared some guards and people
>got punched by your best friend
>got drunk off your ass with your best friend
>made a drunken promise to become a knight your best friend

The muffled sounds of nature begin to wake you. The rustling of the trees in the wind, the chirp of young birds as they hang on. Scuffling of small rodents beneath the undergrowth. All of it slowly brings you out of your slumber.

With a groan, you open your eyes and raise you head.

And immediately regret it.

A searing pain tears through your mind. The light from the sun blazes across your vision. The muffled sounds become thunderous drums, pounding against your skull.

Everyone seems to ache.

What do you do /tg/?
>>
Oh hey, I remember this... I think.

This is the quest where we defeated an older earth dragon, right?

I don't remember these pats though
>Went swimming
>fucked up a locket
>possessed your best friend
>scared some guards and people
>got punched by your best friend
>got drunk off your ass with your best friend
>made a drunken promise to become a knight your best friend

Probably didn't read the last few threads.

>>22025475
Not sure, did we have any plans, longterm, shortterm or whatever?
Where is our friend (that's the guy who was living in the cave, right? And what was his name again?)
>>
>>22025647

Yeah that stuff was in the last thread.

The guy in the cave? That's the Hermit, who is now referred to as Bromit, and is currently your best (and only) friend.

Long story short, Bromit punched you because you accidentally possessed him when discovering your new power. After a talk you guys became bros again and got drunk.

Then you climbed a mountain, and asked Bromit about other Dragons when you reached the top. Bromit told you that Dragons tend to be assholes.

He also told you that he, nor anybody he knows, has ever heard of a Metal Dragon.

Finding out you're the first and only one of your kind (as far as you know), being in a good mood and drunk off your ass, you swear an oath to defend humanity, engrave it into the mountainside, then filled said engravings with metal.

Your objective at the moment (Should you choose to follow it.) is to find Farow, a man who Bromit seeks retribution against, since you agreed to help him a few threads ago.

Bear in mind you guys can do whatever the hell you want. There are no rails here. And I mean literally anything.
>>
>>22025769
Clearly we should become the protector of whatever kingdom we protect!
>>
>>22025769

Cool. It's great to have total freedom but you should throw a plothook or two at us once in a while. Now that I checked, I know that I didn't read the past 2 threads so I might have missed something intresting.

Anyway, for now, lets check out those sounds that are giving us headache, also locate Bromit.

Farow is the asshole that burned the forest, right?
>>
>>22025475
Heal self
Look for Bromit
Find out if we broke anything last night

Is it too late to suggest we call ourself Wallace?
>>
>>22025803
You don't actually really know what Kingdom (presumably human) we are in at the moment. That, and you only really know one person. Also the generally negative reception Dragons receive from humanoids isn't great. (I fully support the idea of becoming a protector, but it will take some work.)

>>22025824
Ah alright, I guess I've read too many threads about people complaining about railroading. I'll take that on board, thanks. And yes that's Farow

>>22025824
>>22025841
(Afraid so, /tg/ wanted Iridius.)

You attempt to cast heal on yourself, only to find you cannot focus it. Swaying slightly as you stand, you try to locate your comrade. Unable to to see him, you perk your ears up and listen.

A faint, but unmistakable retching can be heard from among the trees.

What do you do /tg/?
>>
>>22025950
>Drink some ale
>totally out of commission due to hangover
We should never drink again.

We can't polymorph or anything, right? Anyway, got to the sound of retching, that could be our bromit.
>>
>>22025979
>>22025950

Or maybe call out, I dunno.

You still here ,OP?

>mfw Iridius and Bro-mit return

You're awesome and dedicated, OP.

Try to battle through the hangover, then assess our condition. We didn't brush Bromit off the cliffside in our sleep, did we?
>>
>>22025979
No polymorphing yet I'm afraid.
>>22026161
>>22026204
>>22026348

(I'm still here guys, apologies.)

Forcing yourself through the pain, you attempt to follow the sound of retching into the forest, only to stumble and fall flat on your face, flattening most of the trees.

With a yelp, Bromit leaps from beneath the fallen wood, swaying as he travels through the air, tumbling across the ground before coming to a rest and continuing to vomit all over the ground.

The sight of Bromit's vomiting causes something...unpleasant to stir within you.

What do you do /tg/?
>>
>>22026448
It's better that we do not move around anymore and just wait for hangover to pass, clearly we are a danger to everything around us, self included, right now.
>>
>>22026448

>>

>>22026531
Oh dear...

>>22026534

>>22026565
(Sorry guys.)

Unfamiliar with this new sensation, you don't know what to do. In a panic, you attempt to aim away from Bromit, only to fall to sideways in your drunken state. Landing on your back.

Then at the worst possible moment, the feeling comes to fruition, and you vomit forth a stream of brown, grey and lumpy metal...

All over yourself. Dealing 10 Damage to you.
Your health is now 490/500

With each retch, the searing hot, lumpy metal spreads, eventually reaching Bromit. It covers his hands and knees, burning him quite severely and dealing 10 damage.

Bromit's health is now 40/50

Dragging yourself through the disgusting mess, you attempt to apologise to Bromit.

"I'm sorry fri-"

You are cut off as you retch again and send another load of vomit-metal into Bromit. The armour protects most of him, but he still receives 15 damage.

Bromit's health is now 25/50

Bromit turns to face you, clearly about to berate you for what you just did, when you both notice that the metal begins to pool in one place.

It begins to swirl, tossing and turning, splashing and dripping, until from the centre, it begins to rise.

From beneath the lake of metal, a large, headless humanoid shape begins to rise. You both stare in awe as what remains of the vomit metal is quickly sucked into it, causing it to grow bigger, until finally...

It stands complete. 15ft tall and made from your own special brand of metal. A Golem.

A hostile Golem.

What do you do /tg/?
>>
>>22026808
Okay, can this turn of events finally sober us up enough to be able cast heal on Bromit? Do that.

Hopefully the golem is not fast, tell Bromit to take same distance while we deal with it.
>>
>>22026808

You're feel more capable now, so you turn to the still-heaving Bromit and cast Heal, restoring 25 points of Health.

Bromit's health is now 50/50.

The golem begins to approach you, the ground shaking slightly as it walks...

What do you do /tg/?

(You need to roll a D20 for actions/combat. Nat 1's or Nat 20's override all other rolls.)
>>
>>22026906
We created it, we can posses it... I think.

Try to do that.

How big is the golem? Should be pretty huge is the ground shakes as it walks.
>>
>>22026935
I don't think we can possess a golem. It must not have a mind.

We should use Major Magnetic Manipulation on him, I think. He's entirely made of metal ; he will be unable to do anything.

>>22026996
(It is possible to possess, but since you rolled a 1 when creating it, you'll need a Nat 20 to command it. Also roll for that actio-)

With little effort, you stop the Golem dead in its tracks. You lift it towards you, so you may observe it.

>>22027023

Focusing your mind, you attempt to force your will inside this automation. If it is indeed of your flesh, then it should bend to your might. However it is so poorly made, so absurdly constructed, that your mind is unable to impart your will. Momentarily distracted by this, your magnetism fails, and the Golem succesffuly lands a blow on your head, dealing 20 damage.

Your health is now 470/500

The Golem begins to degrade, and its health is now 100/200

Keep it away from us and locked with magnetic manipulation till it degrades completely, then learn from this. WE CAN CREATE METAL GOLEMS, how cool is that?!

"It's the wrong golem Bromit, and it's gone wrong!"
>>
>>22027140

>>
>>22027117
>>22027140

Annoyed, you freeze the Golem again, dragging it off the ground before whipping your tail out from behind you and strike at the Golem. However your hangover has still not completely subsided, and you only manage to weakly whip your tail across its torso, bouncing offand only dealing 2 damage.

However, the Golem continues to degrade reaching 0 health. As a result you are now levitating a large number of metal shavings.

Silently, Bromit walks to your side observing your 'creation's' remains.

"You want to tell me what that is?"

What do you do /tg/?

Bromit looks at you, concerned. "You just vomited, huh?"

You do not reply.

What do you do /tg/?

>Roll on our back with a groan, wait for the hangover to pass completely.

I support this part of the post.
>>
>>22027430

You collapse onto the floor, burying your head against the ground.
"I don't think I like alcohol." You say, voice muffled by the dirt. Rolling onto your back, your groan in irritation and spread your wings. Bromit shields his eyes from the glare of the sunlight.
"You'll learn to like it."
Bromit begins examining the decayed Golem.
"Think you could make another?"

>>22027443
>>22027449
With a deep breath, you attempt to recreate the feeling you had only a few minutes ago. You cough slightly, then spew forth a pool of heated metal, which slowly begins to reform, a shape beginning to rise from the molten metal.

It stands up on two legs. 18ft tall and over 10 tonnes. Your new servant.

(From now on, if you want to create Golems, you'll have to include what you want its function to be/what it looks like/how many of them you want. The more complex its function, design and number, the higher the roll requirements will be.)

What do you do /tg/?

Bromit stares at your creation, watching as it creaks into life, bearing down on him like an iron giant.

You turn to look at your comrade. "So uh...looks like we've got a new friend."

Bromit shoots you a look half filled with anger, and half filled with disbelief. "And you're sure you can control this one?"

You order the Golem to smash the ground. It does, causing a small crater to form where it's fist hits the Earth, cracking the rock beneath it.

"Looks like it." You say, grinning internally.

"Excellent, but what are you going to do with him?" Bromit asks, eyeing the monster suspiciously.

What will its name be /tg/, and what will you do with it?

Also, don't forget to archive!

Anyway, last suggestion
>What will its name be /tg/, and what will you do with it?
Charles is a good name.
How about giving it a "guardian" designation? We can put it somewhere give it instruction and it will guard the place. Like the barbarian village we now own. We severely crippled them and this would be good defense in our absence.
>>
Well our name is Iridius right? We should name all of our golems after minerals or alloys.
