Right. A little late - ran out of consumables. Had to rectify that.

Hello, and welcome one and all to:
Chronicles of a Brighter Future
Or Bright Quest

Quest runs from 9am, PST, until 2pm PST OR until interest peters out / I need to sleep.

Here's the general gist of what we're working with:
Bright Noah joins Zeon instead of the Earth Federation (For Reasons Yet Unexplored), and is promoted to Captain of the Musai class cruiser ‘Longfellow’ for his actions during the One Week Battle / Battle of Loum. (Shot down [confirmed] three EF nukes with a Musai, organized a fighting retreat until MS cover returned, and rallied the troops for a decisive strike that sunk 5 enemy warships.)

The following posts are from /m/ yesterday, before I was banned for 'advertisement url'. Banned post will be in an image file. If you want to skip to the new section, just search for 'Inventory' after about five minutes.

Bright Noah was nervous. Having had his commanding officer wounded in battle, his taking control of the ship and ensuring the nukes didn’t strike the Papua cruisers supporting the fleet was the wisest decision he felt he could make at the time. His superiors had seemed to agree, having promoted him to Captain of the musai class crusier ‘Longfellow’ and ordered to protect the troop drop capsule staging area in geo-synchronous orbit above California. It had been a great personal honor to have protected lord Garma Zabi as he and his troops departed for the surface of Earth, and he had remained vigilant in keeping the sorties with the Earth Federation Forces brief, successful, and as far from the orbiting heavy lift surface-to-space vehicles as he could.
However, five months later, he and his ship had been pulled from the front line and ordered to report to Field Commander Dozle Zabi himself.
And so he sat, right leg bouncing nervously, as he awaited his summons to see the commander of the Zeon Space Force, in his office on Solomon – wondering all the while just how in Daikun’s name did he manage to piss off the tip of the top brass.
He jumped when the massive, ornately carved doors to the main room were suddenly thrown open, slamming against the walls with little care. The huge man before him glowered down, shouting “BRIGHT NOAH!?”

Bright leapt to his feet with a crisp salute. “Sir! Captain Noah reporting as ordered, sir!”
Dozle Zabi jerked his head back towards his office, saying “Well, Get In Here!” before turning and striding in himself. Bright followed, looking around. Wood paneling, glass windows, painted portrait of a brown haired woman behind the massive oak desk, a fellow wearing a red uniform and a visor that covered his eyes-
Wait, what?
Bright raised an eyebrow at the other man’s apparent disregard for the uniform code (and in front of the Field Commander, no less!), but nodded to him. The Red Comet had ridden in with reinforcements to save the day at Loum, after all.
Dozle sat behind the great desk and immediately cut to the chase. “The reason I sent for you, Lieutenant, is due to the brilliant grasp of tactics you displayed in the One Week Battle, as well as your continued success at guarding the California Orbital Drop point. I have discussed matters with Char, and he agrees your help with a mission I have planed would be most fitting. I am also promoting you both to the rank of Major, and intend to utilize both your talents to their fullest as co-commanders of a joint operation.”
“What operation, if I may ask, sir?”
For a moment, Dozle looked grim. “We’ve received reports from our spies in the Earth Federation that large shipments of personnel and scientific equipment, along with several key EF scientists, are being moved to a colony in the Side Seven area. I want you to find out where, and once you do, infiltrate to discover if the other piece of intelligence we’ve gathered is true.” He paused for a moment, glancing out the window into the interior of Solomon. “That the Earth Federation might be testing prototype Mobile Suits more powerful than our own.”
>>
>>22136863
“I had heard rumors amongst the HLV Operators about a few encounters with captured and modified Zaku Twos,” Bright said thoughtfully. “But isn’t six months a bit quick for them to have discovered the secrets to the AMBAC system? Our own scientists labored for years to perfect it, from what I recall from my training lectures. Even with captured equipment to reverse engineer-“

Dozle cut him off. “We’ve explored these topics at length, amongst the Zabi family, and our senior military advisors. We believe this information to be credible. Especially after…” Dozle trailed off, but then continued, “If I were to say Doctor Minervsky’s death may also have been ‘Exaggerated’, what would your opinion be then?”

Bright’s mouth went dry. “That were really should look into it, sir.”
Dozle spread his hands in a gesture that said ‘there you are’. “And you two are going to go. Take the Longfellow and Char’s Falmel. I’ll have the hanger crews fuel you up and fit you with any equipment you feel you need. But with ten Zaku Two’s, your fleet command experience, and Char’s exceptional Mobile Suit combat doctrine, I think you’ll be able to handle just about anything the Fed’s can throw your way.”

As Bright nodded, Dozle handed both men manila envelopes, each with a wax seal emblazoned with the Zabi family crest overlaid atop the Zeon emblem. “These contain copies of the information we’ve gathered, and your full mission brief. Legal jargon, blahblah blah. Mainly, I want you to remember two things,” he stated, looking firmly at both men, “This is a recon operation in force. Do not move to engage unless you have no other options. An attempt to capture blueprints, technical documents, and other material is top priority, should you find anything. Same for Doctor Minervsky, if he’s there. Have I made myself clear? Any questions?”
>>
>>22136867
>[How did Dr. Minovski die?]
Bright frowned. “Sir, if I may, do you know how Doctor Minovsky died? I’m afraid I don’t know the details myself, and it might help us to locate him, or any corroborators that helped hide him.”

Dozle stood still for a moment, gazing down at bright. God, the man was huge. Finally, he spoke, slowly, as if he was reluctant to do so. “Trenov Y. Minovsky attended an awards ceremony, last I saw of him. After receiving the award for his dedication to the Zeon cause, he threw the award at my fathers feet and ran out of the building as if his hair was on fire.”

Dozle glanced out the window again, seemingly lost in thought. After a few contemplative moments, Char spoke up, for the first time. “Sir? What happened after that?”

Dozle started, as if coming out of a trance. “He…um, fell. Fell down a flight of stairs. He was quite mad, at the end, you know. All he cared about was developing new, more powerful weapons. His wife left him, towards the end, something about always stroking his guns. It’s too bad - always liked the fellow myself, what with the mega-particle projectors and mobile armor designs and all. Terrible loss.”

Char and Bright shared a glance. Something was a bit off with the story, but dare they call him on it?

Dozle continued. “I didn’t attend the funeral myself, to much planning to do, what with the war starting and all. I heard it was a closed casket affair. Or was it a cremation? Sorry, my mind was busy with organizing troops and planning out operation British at the time. Anything else?”

>[No. Look at envelope]

Bright Noah saluted crisply, “No sir!”

Dozle dismisses you both with a wave of his hand. “Oh, and shut the door, would you? I’m going to call my wife and I’d like some privacy in here!”

Char took the left door, as Bright took the right, and the two men pulled the door closed with some effort.

Afterwards, Bright opened his envelope to find… An SD card. Huh. (Looks like Bright will need access to a computer.)

Also in the envelope was a hand written promotion point document, wich just states ‘9999xp’ and has Dozle’s signature on it. On the back, it says ‘You’re A Major Now’ in big, blocky script. (Bright will need to turn this over to the quartermaster at the Armory, and be issued a new uniform.)

Bright looked to Char, and held out his hand. “Bright Noah. It will be a pleasure to be working with the infamous Red Comet.”

Char looked at the hand, before clasping it in his own gloved mitt. “The pleasure’s mine….”

>[‘Creed’ is Chosen as Bright’s Nickname]

“…. Svalinn.” Char continued.

Bright made a face. “Sva? What?”

“Svalinn. It’s what most of the troops who survived Loum call you. Something from old Norse mythology, ‘The Shield that Stands before the Sun’, I believe.”

“Huh.” Well, I guess I have a nickname, now.
“It’s better than the other one I’ve heard tossed about,” Char said, gesturing for the hall outside.

Bright followed, asking, “What’s that?”

“The White Hot Nightmare.”

Bright came to an abrupt halt, and his features fell completely blank. It must have been something to see, as Char doubled over in a fit of laughter. Bright slapped him upside the head, and Char backed off, one hand attempting to restrain the giggles as he tried to talk around them. “I’m kidding, I- heheh, Kidding. That was worth it, though. No, I’ve heard some call you ‘Zeon’s Creed’.”
>>
>>22136893
Your choice of nicknames, it seems. “Just call me Bright, if you would.”

“Char.”

The two men nodded to each other. “Which way are you headed? I also received a request from some fellows that came here from Pezun, something about a ‘field test’. I’m sure you can tag along, if you’d like.”

[Char will call you by Svalinn, but others will generally refer to you as ‘Creed’ or ‘Zeon’s Creed’ / ‘ZeeCee’]

Backlog concluded.

Inventory:
You received your Orders, but they are on an SD Card. You need Access to a Secure Computer to read through them. You have one in your Quarters on the Longfellow.

You received your Promotion Point Document, on parchment paper hand made by Dozle Zabi (9999xp – You Major Now). It needs to be turned into the Armory Quartermaster, so you can be issued a new Uniform and Rank Insignia.

Rumors:
Char’s Zaku IIS is Pink.
You have two nicknames. Fellow Survivors of Loum call you ‘Svalinn’ – ‘The Shield that Stands before the Sun’. Other troops know you for your brilliant grasp of tactics used to hold the EFF Space Fleet off of the HLV Geo-Synchronous orbit above California. They call you ‘Zeon’s Creed’, or simply ‘Creed’.

Bright Noah is currently sharing a command car with Char Aznable, heading to hangar block 5.

I'm glad you asked.

Mostly D20's. On rare occasion, I'll ask for a D100.

NewType powers, since they are plot breaking, will be based on a point system. At the moment, Bright has 0.75 NTP - NewType Points. He used one to shoot down three nukes with a Musai's main battery during the Battle of Loum, and has been busy fighting old types over the California HLV GSO Point, which earns him .75.

Char Aznable currently has 1.5 NTP.

For every natural 20 you roll, you'll get .5 NTP. If you roll an 11 on a d20, it will be worth .25 of a NTP. Double rolls on a D100 will also garner .25 NTP.

You can exchange 1 NTP for an automatic critical success / plot breaking idea. You can also exchange 1 NTP to reduce an opposing main character's plot armor by 1/4 or 1/2 on any actions you take against them - that will be situational, and depend on exactly what you're planning on doing.

Also - someone roll me a D20. I need to see what the boys from Pezun have for you.

Minovsky wouldn't help with AMBAC (which the Federation probably mastered anyway, since the predecessors of Balls used the same thing). IIRC in canon he helped the EF with making ultra-compact reactors.

but uh yeah this looks cool
>>
>>22137124

this is an alternate universe where Bright defected to zeon rather than staying to face the haters of the EF...
>>
>>22137154
What i meant was that i personally prefer original characters in quests. Gives more freedom to develop their personality. But whatever, don't want to derail this, since it looks cool. Been starving for Zeon related quests since Zeonquest ended.
>>
>>22137124
Yes I did. And I loved it.

Why it's Bright? Well, >>>/m/8587479 was posted, I offered options for a Story time for /m/, tried to turn it into a quest, and here we are.

So, Bright Noah joined Zeon instead of the EF, and is already higher in rank with the Zeon SF for doing practically the same thing as he did in cannon - take over a ship when his captain was injured and try to win the day. Zeon recognized that and gave him the ship.

>>22137134
Fair point. I think I was aiming more towards a 'Minovsky has all the secrets, he can scratch build this stuff' line of thought. But I could have worded it better, I admit. I'm a Gundam fan, but not a Gundam historian. Yet.
>>
>>22137179
Bright needs n XO for the Longfellow, his Musai, and a Lt. that commands his Zaku wing. Feel free to name them, and add in personality quirks, while I'm typing the actual plot, f you'd like.

>What he thinks about Dozle's story, and what Char thinks about Dr.Minervsky in general

As the car smoothly sped along, Bright asked, “So… Lord Dozle’s story about Dr. Minovsky… was it just me, or did something seem off about it?”

Char turned to look at Bright though his visor. “Caught that, did you? As I recall, the awards ceremony occurred in Grenada. It would be ill fate indeed to die from falling down a flight of stairs on the moon. He’s got something hidden, but exactly what, I’m unsure.”

“What are your thoughts on the Doctor? If he’s alive, do you think we can convince him to return willingly?”

Char shrugged. “That depends on a lot of factors we are currently unaware of. Why he faked his death, fled Zeon, and if he defected to the Earth Federation or not.”

Bright grimaced. “In other words, we play it by ear.”

“That’s it.”

“I hate doing that. It’s always-“ Bright stopped taking as the command car entered hangar block 5. The entire block was empty.

Empty save a single battleship, the likes of which he had never seen before, its hull as yet unpainted, and gleaming sheets of silver steal glinting in the overhead lights. The front of the ship was flared out, and flatter than a regular Musai, while the bridge was squatter, with two large antennae sweeping gracefully above and beyond the stern. The engine nacelles were half the hieght of the Longfellow’s, but again, flared out to the sides.
“What in the world is that?” he asked.

Char looked, and pulled back, surprised. “It looks like a… retrofitted Musai?”

Below the swell of the main hull, five blue shapes could bee seen, and at this distance, had to be Mobile Suits – but of a type Bright was unfamiliar with. When he pointed them out to Char, the other man stifled a laugh.

“No. No no no no no. Those couldn’t be…”

Lt. Jean, he has a cocky personality, often making jokes at the expense of other officers, during operations he often gets members of his squad playing a game he refers to as 'insubordination', which rather than disregarding orders, he adjusts the operating parameters to try and make himself look good.

XO: Mohai Bret, the large and powerful. He will not fit in normal bridge chairs and would have a hard time squeezing into an MS cockpit. He is quite fast and very good at most zero-G sports. His nickname is "The Human Zaku." However, the main complaint past commanders have had is that he is too soft on his subordinates. Like an elephant in a glass minefield, he is afraid of breaking things, and has a gentle touch. He is much more likely than Bright to have friends among the crew, and he gets very angry when they die.

Overall, the XO is a competent but not outstanding officer.

The command car pulled to a halt, and the two men disembarked, hurrying to the overlook like children peering into a candy store window. “Oh, god, they ARE.”

“Are what?”

“Zudahs. Freaking Zudahs. Where the hell did they find five of those damn things?”

A dry chuckle coming from the side got their attention, and an older fellow, perhaps 60, picked himself up out of a chair along the far wall. “Ah, Mister Aznable. I see you have brought along a friend. Well, no matter. We of Pezun are an… accommodating sort. If you would come this way?”

As char moved to follow, Bright grabbed his elbow and asked quietly “What’s a Zudah?”

“Zimmad Cooperation project, underwent testing the same time the MS06 did. Excellent performance envelope, very quick - except they explode. And they have five of them down there.” Char shook his head. “Someone has a deathwish.”

“Perhaps they fixed the problem?” Bright asked.

“Yeah, by choosing the Zaku Two.” Char scoffed.

As they both drew closer to the machines of war, the elderly man turned back to them with a flourish of his white lab coat, his glasses reflecting the overheads and going nearly as opaque as Char’s visor. “Gentlemen! Behold! I give you, the EMS-10 Beta! The Zudah!”

Char was unimpressed. “They Explode.”

I'm trying very, very hard to not borrow too much from Zeon Quest. I love it, I thank I Appologized on 4Chan for running it, but it really is a different beast from Bright Quest.

Bright Quest will be using any and all machines found in the original animation, oav's and movies, with a few exceptions if we can get far enough into the time line that there is no coverage except for manga / video games (like UC 0082 ~ 0085 only has Char's Deleted Affair, really).

Zeon Quest used everything, and I mean Everything that Zeon and the EF have ever rolled out in any media, period.

So, upside: No Pixie Gundams.
Downside: No Gyan Kriegers. Unless you guys do something radical.

As for dice - I will average the first five rolls, if that many are made. If there's a 20, it gets priority unless a 1 is rolled, and vice versa.

>[X] Siding with Char, but we want to know if they really explode, and why.

“I’m afraid I need to side with Major Aznable on this one,” Bright said. “Explosions are a definite No Go. Unless you’ve solved the problem?”

Char nodded once at Bright, before the older fellow demanded their attention again “Of course! At least, I think. I mean, yes, of course I think we most definitely have! Unless we haven’t…”

One of the technicians, a young woman with brown hair wearing a set of green coveralls stained with hydraulic fluid and grease came up and started poking the old man in the chest. “Professor Ceff. Start at the beginning. Then work your way back.”

Ceff blinked at her, and then said “Oh. Right. Sorry,” Then, turning to Bright, he continued, “They did explode with the default engine configuration. I’ll assume you’re not abreast of the latest theories on Minovsky quantum generation and effects, and just ski to the short version.”

“Very much appreciated,” Char stated dryly.

“Right. The Zaku Two you’re familiar with uses a system called ‘Wave Pulse Generation’ to create electrical current to power the limbs. The ‘Wave Pulse’ is naturally generated by an active Minovsky compact fusion reactor and the feedback from it is funneled through a series of conduits to the limbs that need to be powered. You follow?”

Bright nodded.
>>
>>22137802
“The Zudah doesn’t use that system at all. Instead of relying on the generation of a M particle wave, it uses the reactor’s I field to create positive and negative alternating charged fields that travel through the frame and generate localized power in each limb. So, when the reactor is under too much demand and becomes stressed beyond the stable M particle thresh hold, it creates an unstable wave form, in turn causing an unbalanced I field, which in the Zudah Alpha’s causes over charges, which screw up the fuel regulators for the main vernier thruster, which induces overheating of the engine and fuel tanks, when then leak Helium 3 into everything in the engine block until-“ Professor Cleff mimicked an explosion with his hands, “Boom. You get all that?”

[ ] Yes
[ ] No
[ ] Zaku Stronk
>>
>>22137809
"So all we have to do is superglue the limiter switch? Or just plain unable to override it?"
>>
>>22137809

"so, the Zudah Beta has a stronger containment field, allowing for a greater M particle threshold, that or you have installed surge capacitors and strengthened the fuel tanks and seals?"

in short, Yes. Bright has this...
>>
>>22137809
"I think i got the gist of it. If the machine needs too much juice, the reactor goes boom."
>>
>>22137873 >>22137881 >>22137885

Char cocked his head to the side, being intimately familiar with the quirks of the Zaku II, he could follow easily. Bright stroked his chin for a moment, before saying “So, what? You upgraded the containment field? Increased the threshold level for M particle generation? Added a bigger reactor? Put in surge protectors, or limiting capacitors?”

“Fuel seals less prone to heat failure?” added Char. “Reduced the power demand with upgraded servos? Glued a limiter switch in the ‘On’ position?”

Professor Ceff smiled. “All of the above, gentlemen. All of the above and MORE. These two –“ He gestured to the two Zudah’s with green stripes on the blue paint, “Have had the entire single jet vernier replaced with a Zaku II style back pack thruster unit. As for the one next to it,” he gestured to the single unit with white stripes on the shield, “I configured the other two’s single jet thruster with it’s own, making a triple thruster – which should either bleed off demand or burn through fuel like my wife spends my money…. As for the two n the end, Christine was working on them. What did you do, my dear?”

The woman in brown overalls rolled her eyes. “Basic retrofit, with the stronger I field generator and dedicated capacitor driven battery packs. It should reduce the likelihood of a surge, and relieve demand from the reactor through power generated from the solar cells I put on the shield.”

Bright and Char remained silent for a moment, before Bright asked, “So, they no longer explode?”

“I think they won’t. But I’d like Mr. Aznable to test that theory for me.”

“Oh no. No no no no no no and NO.” Char said, waiving his hands. “I want no part of this deal. None. And why, if all you’re wanting is for me to take a group of coffins off your hands, did you have someone slip me a handwritten note under my door?”
>>
>>22138157

“Because I’m throwing in the ship and a technician team, of course!” Ceff said, pointing at the steel colored ship beyond the Zudah’s. “I’ve retooled the hangars of this Y series Musai-“

“Which you ‘Borrowed’ from the Flannagan institute-”

“It’s not stealing if they don’t know about it!” snapped cleff to Christine. “Anyway, I’ve modified the hangar to hold all five Zudah’s and still have room for Three Zaku Two’s! Think about it! You could field eight mobile suits in one sortie!”

Char shook his head. “No. Deal.”

“Humbug.” Professor Ceff turned away from Char, only to spot Bright, and wheeled in on him like a hawk. “What about you, young man? Care to test some things for Pezun? Become a test pilot? Wait, who are you again?”

“Bright Noah, sir.”

A smile lit the old man’s face. “Ouuuoooh. I’ll happily sign these off to Creed. So, you want them?”

“With all due respect, sir: I and the men of the Longfellow under me, who would be transferring to the Siegfried, have been fighting together for six months now. I refuse to put the men and women who have served faithfully under my command at any more risk than necessary due to taking a devil’s bargain. If you, or your people, can rig a remote operation unit, or an auto pilot routine, I will happily accept the duty of testing these machines. If not, I’m afraid I’ll be shipping out with the Longfellow come morning.” Bright said.

Christine held up a hand in a ‘wait here’ gesture, and moved to where another group of mechanics and technicians were waiting, presumable for the final verdict. A few moments of discussion later, and she returned. “We’ll definitely see what we can do. My main concern is testing the units in such a manner might not yield any results.”

“Prove your machines won’t be a fool hardy risk, and if my wing commander, Lieutenant Jean, feels the machines are reliable enough to use without a remote, then I’ll sign off on letting his team perform additional, live tests.”

Christine held out her hand, saying “Deal.”

[x] Deal.

Also, if the repo men come for the Siegfried, we will be paying a personal visit to the good doctor.

Bright shook the young woman’s hand, saying, “Deal. You need me to sign for this?”

“If you wouldn’t mind? Professor Ceff has the paperwork.” She gestured to where the old man was holding a clipboard.

“I swear, if I get bit in the ass for your Flannagan Shenanigans…” Bright said as darkly as he could, swiping the pen and signing his name with a flourish, “I’ll have an overheating Zudah with your name on it.”

“Bah, you don’t frighten me,” stated the old man, reclaiming his paper work. “The only things that scare me are Gihren Zabi, Taxes, and Death – in roughly that order. Depends on what day of the week it is.”

And with that, the old man turned to the technicians and started barking orders. The men and women from the Pezun Project began gathering their equipment and loading the Zudah’s into the Siegfried’s modified hangar bay in the belly of the ship.

“Flannigan Shenanigans?” Char said with a smile.

“Best thing I could come up with.”

“Pffft.”

In this order. If Char wants to come along with us, tell him we can probably get the techs to repaint his Zaku if he wants. Though Zudah paint might explode.

Agreeing with this. It's only sensible.

Bright left Char to his snickering (At Bright’s expense), crossing to a junction box with a shoreline. After giving his identification code to the operator, his call was quickly directed to the Longfellow in hangar one, dock thirteen. “Bridge,” was the curt response.

“Mohai, bright. We have a problem.”

“Sir?”

“We’ve been ordered to change berths.”

There was a long silence on the other end of the line as the large man, known as ‘The Human Zaku’, was probably gazing across the bridge. “I’ll bring my chair, sir. Zaku’s?”

“We’ve been… given some modified Zudah’s. We only have room for three Zaku’s on the new ship.”

Another stretch of silence. “Hooh boy. The Lieutenant isn’t going to like that.”

“Jean will love it. Just tell him ‘test pilots get all the girls, and better pay’.” Bright answered.

“Ri~ight. I’ll bring my chair, and three Zaku’s. Where too?” asked Bret.

“Hangar block five, bay one – you wouldn’t be able to miss it if you tried.”

“Name?”

“Siegfried.”

“Huh. Transfer complete in three hours, Captain.”

Bright nodded. When Mohai said something would be done, it would be done. Sometimes a bit later than it ought too, but it got done with a minimum of fuss. He signed off, and found Char nearby.

“Where too next?”

“I should head to the Armory, get these promotion documents sorted.” Bright said.

“In that case, I’ll bid you farewell, it’s high time I get back to the Falmel as it is.”

“Maybe you should requisition some red paint while you’re at it?”

Char shook his head no. “I’ll manage somehow.”

Bright snapped a salute to the other man, which was promptly returned.

A quieter trip on a command car took him to the armory, and Bright surrendered his Promotion Point document to a bored looking quartermaster.

Said quartermaster stopped looking bored and proceeded to laugh. “Good try, buddy.”

“There a problem?”

“This isn’t an official form. And you think I’m going to believe that this is Lord Dozel Zabi’s signature on this? Get lost.” He roughly slid the paper back to Bright.

Bright frowned. “Why don’t you call him?”

“What?”

“Why don’t you call Lord Dozle and tell him you’ve got some guy trying to forge his signature on a fake document? He’d love to know.”

The other man’s eyebrow shot up. “What are you playing at?”

“Nothing. Just call him.”

A few minutes late, Dozle’s booming voice came from the speakers of the phone. “What Do You Mean You’ve Got A Forgery! I Made That Document Myself, Out Of Paper! Do You Know How To Make Paper?”

“Uh, No sir?”

“Neither Did I! But I Looked It Up On Youtube, And I Learned How! And Then I Made It Out Of Grass! Because There Aren’t Any Trees On Solomon Yet! Minerva’s Jumper’s Are Green Now, Because I Used The Washing Machine To Make The Paper, The Same Paper I Might Add, You Claim Is A Forgery! I Pulped Those Fibers With My Bear Hands, And I’ll Pulp You If You Don’t Give The Man His Promotion! Do You Hear Me?”

“Yes sir!”

“What?”

“YES SIR!”

“Good! Now I’m Going To Resume My Call To My Wife, And I Fully Expect This To Be The End Of The Whole ‘Forgery Thing’. Got It?” and Dozle hung up on him.

A very shell shocked quarter master returned Bright’s stare for a long moment before saying “Regulations at your rank allow three minor alterations to the uniform.”

[Any particular uniform color you want? Minor Alterations include uniform Color (restricted to Aces, which you are), using normalsuit equipment (belt, holster, gloves and boots) instead of the regular equipment, chrome helmet, visor (if you have a scar – or not, if you wear sun glasses at night), and personal insignia (if any)]

Personal Insignia: A tower shield with a starburst behind it. The shield has the letter C on it.

I don't think we really need any other changes. Bright doesn't seem like the type of person to wear a flashy custom uniform with a weird helmet.

I like the way you think, sir.

Regretfully, I must call it a night. But when I wake up, I'll work on an insignia graphic for bright, and if I'm up to it, I'll post again in the morning from 8:30am to 2pm.

Check the twitter (@3xFaster) for updates.

Thank you for playing!
