I am the Chapter Master. You should not concern yourself with my name, for who I am is what I do, not how someone chooses to label me. By the will of the Emperor I command the finest Chapter to ever tread among the stars. I have no fear but to fail in the eyes of my brothers. Age of Ruin is on the horizon, Imperium is falling apart, I know it in my heart. I was blessed and cursed to live in time when the fate of our galaxy is being decided once more. I can just hope that my choices will be right. Ave Imperator et Imperium!

After a confrontation with Silent Guardians regarding our visit of Forbidden world of Olympia, we have sold out our ally Rogue Trader in exchange for their silence and relics that we have retrieved. Now we are in the orbit of Tachion Primaris, Capitolis Sectorum, where we are preparing to meet Sector Governor Larion Ursus...

You lose d3% Heresy.
You pay d5 Wealth for colonisation of Varda.
You pay 8 Wealth to Dercius D'anger for his food shipments to Mormark.

Please roll.
======================================
Underneath "Aspera Dominus" lies a vast ecumenopolis of Tachion Primaris, Sector Deus Capital world. As you observe thousands of its lights through the windows of the ship bridge, Captain Macedon of the Sixth Company approaches you:
>Milord, landing shuttles are ready, we can descend to the planet, if you wish so. Who shall travel with you and what is our destination?

Some of the interesting locations that you remember in Tachion Primaris from your previous visit are:
+Sector Governors' Palace
+Grand Economica
+St. Evangelions' Cathedral
+Atlantus Industrial District
+Fort Hardrock
+Underhives

You could also visit:
+Nobis - moon that belongs to Inquisition

Sector Governor meets you in a grand hall. On his face there is a well trained politician's smile, it is unclear what is he thinking.
>In the name of Imperium and Tachion Primaris, let me greet you, oh warriors. Yes, I assumed, that nothing less important would delay you to come to me... Just like when you didn't come to my daughters' wedding. Some invasion or something, if I remember correctly. But let us speak business. So you wish to request me to reroute ships to Mormark once more? At least that's what you requested from me in your letter...
>>
Also we gotta look into getting Varda up and running, Skargan said last session that it'd cost.....200+d75 wealth I think, to get it ready for the deadline at this late stage. Now this mining colony could be very lucrative in providing a steady income for years to come.

So I propose we pay the money, and also send the 6th Company along with the Cruiser 'Morbid' to Varda to protect our interests.
>>
>>22358463
>You are most correct Governor, my Chapter paid a fair amount in order to construct a Space Station allowing us to legally bypass the Terra-enforced quarantine of Mormark. Unfortunately said bypass is useless without a steady supply of food, and without the Imperial Shipping lanes our chapter cannot finance the importing of food for the rest of the quarantine period.

Also, Renard, Master of the Shadow Guard, comes to you with a grim look on his face:
>Lord, I think we might have a situation. Targos, your Shadow of Mind, has reported that there are two problems that require your attention. I think you should give him an audience sometime.

>>22358530

You are an Angel of Death, you are too detached from common humans to understand that from time to time a good famine or war is what really purifies the stock. But if it is your wish, I'll grant it to you, however I will need to have you swear me your allegiance. When you came to the Sector, we started off our relationship from a wrong foot. Let us make a new start and we'll both get what we want - my authority will no longer be challenged and I'll take care of your needs. From this cooperation a beautiful friendship will grow?

An Ultramarines Sergeant approaches Lieutenant Gaius and holds a wooden case in front of him. Gaius opens the case delicately, removes a heavily modified and antique-looking Plasma Pistol, and presents it to Chapter Master:

>This Plasma Pistol, 'The Star of Macragge', has stood in the Ultramarines armoury for over 6000 years, it has destroyed many foes in the hands of an Ultramarine, and now it has been decreed that you should receive it, so it's light may be brought to the furthest edges of the Galaxy. >Milord, I am worried. As Shadow of Mind, I monitor our Chapter for heresy and betrayal. And at the moment there are two things greatly worrying me. More active one is our Third Captain Arcon. He hasn't reported neither to us nor to Tombstone for more than a year even though he was given orders to do so. Having in mind his ambitious behaviour, we can suspect many things... But the truth is that at the moment we know nothing about whereabouts of our Third company and their vessel. The second thing that worries me is Ice Wraiths. Last week I was roaming the lower holding decks of Aspera Dominus and from one of the crates I heard muffled screams. When I opened it, I found that half a dozen humans were being kept as prisoners there. I waited there for a while and a few hours later some Ice Wraiths came and took those humans away. They never returned. I suspect that they could have been sacrificed. Should I do anything about either of these things..?

He offers you his services and ability to utilise your spy networks again for 10 wealth.
>>
>>22361931
we agree to renew his contract for another year. he has served us well.

And we shall send Xyptus to find us a new investor, someone who is at least somewhat competent. alcoholics shall not do.
>>
>>22361974

He'll serve you no less than a decade. Rolling for his Inquiry.

He managed to find 4 candidates:

1. Raktus Gorman - well known merchant, known for his low risk, low profit way of making decisions
2. Atrea Varx - vicious woman, working as a loanshark in Grand Economica, you believe that she has ties with underworld
3. Averon Birg - young finance adept looking for a chance to prove himself, inexperienced, but very intelligent
4. Kvei Lohar - ex-colonial governor, he claims that he was relieved of his duties because of intrigues. Seems like a resourcefu man used to improvisation and leading.

Xyptus prefers Atrea, because he knows her.
Trianon used Emperors Tarot, his divinations point towards Averon.
Brethorius thinks that Raktus will have the necessary experience for this position.
Renard believes that Kvei could also help us colonise new worlds or maintain existing ones.
>>
>>22362239
how much would averon and Kvei cost if we got them both?
>>
>>22362339
2d10 wealth

In the following months you hired Kvei Lohar and Averon Birg to serve for your Chapter and you swore oath of loyalty to the Sector Governor Larion Ursus. Despite many marines being unhappy, for giving up your ancient rights just like this, you hope that this will prove beneficial in the end. Now the only thing to take care of that remains is to deliver Dercius D'anger to Silent Guardians... Do you order him to go to Mergido?
>>
>>22362731
Send the following message to Dercius D'anger:

>D'anger, I need you to go to the Mergido system, there's a valuable package waiting there that you will receive from mining vessels that have been harvesting from Mergido's valuable ground. I need it to be delivered hidden among the food supplies for Mormark. Do this right and you'll get a hefty reward.

>As you wish my friend, I'll be there in a month, two at most! I expect to get paid at least 10 wealth for it! See you soon, Dercius out.
===
You gain +3 Corruption as Tzeentch approves of how you betray your own to further your plans.
>>
>>22363167
You spend the remaining year doing nothing in particular, allowing your marines to relax.

Year changes, now it's 330.M41.
===
+You hear no news from Dercius. You assume that he is dead.
+Space Hulk 'Dark Sister' appears in the realspace again
+Captain Macedon reports that some orks appeared again on Varda, but they are very few and make perfect practice for his Company
+Prisoner rebellion began on penal world of Kruun in Tyranus subsector

Lets have a visit to our little A.I at home, and see how our little Tech Marine got along with it.

Check to see if our 2 new money makers have been working on turning us a profit. Also rolling for Warp.
>>
>>22363886
You must decide which one do you appoint as your Treasurer and what do you order the other one to do.
===
Warp travel is clear and smooth, you soon reach Mormark.
===
When you return, bad news await you - it seems that Techmarine Destros, who was unaugmented by Messiah, A.I. that you keep underneath the mountain, has gone mad, unable to deal with the trauma of losing his augmentations and is beyond any use to the Chapter.
===
Mormarkians are grateful to us for restoring food supply, but they view our Chapter with suspicion, as our coming to their world brought more disasters on their heads in last decade than galaxy did during the last millenia.

What do you do?
>>
>>22364027
Averon Birg is treasurer and Kvei Lohar becomes Governer of Varda, I believe was the agreement in the chat.

Though Kvei is Governer of Varda, Captain Macedon has ultimate authority over him and all of the planet.

Great then. Also, Ceiron, your Vindicare Assassin, approaches you and explains that he was of no use to you in the last 5 years and as such, his time will be better spent if he serves Imperium somewhere else. Unless you want to do something, he will leave.

End of Session?
Will someone archive?
>>
>>22364305
Thanks Skargan, I would archive, but last time I tried all sup/tg/ did was save the thread number but nothing in it, so I was unable to try again since you can't put in duplicate numbers, and I don't want that to happen again, so.....sorry.
