Sorry guys, I´ve had real life issues so I wasnt able to start the thread on time, and honestly when its 4 hours late, I´m just too ashamed to start it.

Anyway, we finally have Ami vs Equitas today, and hopefully have time for the party later that night.
>>
Its okay man, shit happens. Anyway, to the fight!
>>
>>22599585
Commentator: "And after much build up, folks, we are finally watching Red Jane´s first fight in our ring. Over the last few months, we have been waiting for it, and tonight´s audience shows it, filling the XWF super stadium with capacity for 8000 almost all the way up to the back, something quite unheard of for a debut fight."

Indeed, the arena is packed already, even tho as a debut fight, Ami´s is the first of the night. Most of her fans are young men, tho she has been "branded" as a friendly face in the "america´s girlfriend" way, so a few of the younger fans are holding cute signs stating their allegiance to her.

In the changing room, she´s about as nervous as she could be.

Ami: "..." -frozen
>>
>>22599635
Don't worry about it Ami. You'll do fine. Everyone has their debut and they all get past it.
>>
>>22599695
"Ignore the audience, they can't do anything. There's only one thing that matters, you beating Equitas, and having people watch isn't going to change that one bit."
>>
As said elsewhere, fret ye not, OP. Just glad to have you back

Didn't we agree that Equitas was going to lay down for Ami? Or is this one straight-up?

Also, we want to have Brass waiting to congratulate her after the match
>>
>>22599839
Actually I dont remember if we were having Equitas losing for Ami. Did we arrange that?
>>
Ami: "B-but what if they don´t like me?" -she sort of hops from foot to foot like a nervous child. Looking sort of adorable despite her wrestling suit.

Aura: "Then they have no taste" -is helping Ami get ready. "Don´t worry, you are gorgeous. And if you lose, I´ll comfort you"

Ami: "Thanks! ...I think?"
>>
>>22599961
"Now Aura, don't cut Paladin in line like that. Ami, go out there and have a blast."
>>
Do we have a theme song for Ami?
>>
>>22599947

I thought we did... Not that it matters. Ami can use a Clone to run interference while she sets up her finisher, it's practically a freebie...
>>
>>22600058
I don't think so. IIRC Equitas's was Titanium right
>>
Aura: "Party pooper. I always wanted a redhead for christmas"

Commentator: "And now the long awaited rookie´s debut!"

Ami comes out from the south gate with a very lively themesong booming through the sound system of the arena. She climbs unto the stage, and greets the audience.

Aura: "They love her just fine" -she´s sitting with your group
Mai: "She´s very lovable, why would they not?"

Equitas comes out the north gate, and gets her own ovation as her fans cheer her. It is not a big fight for them, and they fully expect her to see a quick fight.

***********
I don´t remember we arranging the fight with Equitas, but I assume the first two rounds at least are just acting, right?
>>
>>22600111
sure
>>
Rolled 1, 5, 8, 2, 9, 7, 4, 3, 9, 10, 3, 2, 1, 8 = 72

>>22600146
Alright, roll 14d10 for Ami´s "acting". I´m rolling for Equitas
>>
Rolled 8, 1, 7, 9, 9, 7, 1, 9, 4, 4, 8, 6, 4, 2 = 79

rolling
>>
>>22600206

I thought Amid had the thing which let her use her whole Brawl pool for ' simulated' fights...
>>

Rolled 6, 9, 1, 4, 2, 5, 6, 2, 6, 6, 10, 9, 7, 5 = 78

>>22600307
she did, thats why she rolled 14d10 too

Anyway Equitas 7 and Ami 7 as well. It looks real enough to trick any normal martial arts master.
*******

Commentator: "The crowd is standing! I´m standing! What a fight. I am sure management will soon begin charging a premium fee for any future matches between these two devas!"

Starting round three, the arena bears the scars of a super-powered fight. Scorch marks on the floor, craters on the concrete floor, bent corner posts, and one snapped cord of supposedly unbreakable alloys.

Roll initiative for Ami, 15d10
>>
Rolled 7, 9, 1, 5, 7, 5, 9, 10, 5, 6, 8, 4, 3, 7, 10 = 96

>>22600412
rolling. BTW is there any way to increase brass's brawl pool?
>>
>>22600435
At this point... Uhmmm raising his base stats only, I think.

Commentator: "And we begin the third round at last! the Krew is done with repairing the damage to the arena, as usual, and the fighters took the chance to rest and plan. What will we see now, who will make the first move!?"

Ami´s turn
Clone
Activate Forcefield
Activate Immolate
Tackle
Headbutt
Submission maneuver
And of course, multiple actions
>>
>>22600477
I think clone. next turn we activate immolate and throw.
>>
>>22600489
Alright, roll 6d10 then to see up to how many clones she can make. We can choose to make less clones than our successes. Each clone costs 3 quantum points and lasts the whole scene. Clones share Ami´s quantum pool of 38 quantum points
>>
>>22600489
Actually, how about on turn two, while she activates Immolate, we have the clone try to take Equitas into a grapple, and have Ami beat the everloving crap out of her while she's clinched?
>>
>>22600534
Sounds like a plan, but you still need to roll 6d10 to see up to how many clones she can make
>>
Rolled 3, 6, 6, 8, 2, 2 = 27

>>22600579
rolling
>>
Rolled 5, 3, 3, 1, 1, 4 = 17

>>22600534

Rolling Clone

Double-team techniques were always the plan.

Real!Ami goes fiery and gets Equitas in a standing hold, while Clone!Ami does a barrage of punches.
>>
Rolled 6, 2, 1, 5, 1, 5, 6, 8, 6, 4, 9, 6, 2, 8 = 69

>>22600597
Well, just one success, but I think everyone always planned to make just the one clone, right? 35 quantum points remaining

Commentator: "And no you are not seeing double, folks! Red Jane is now Red Janes as she´s multiplied herself! Is this an illusion of some kind...?"

Equitas is not sure either, but decides to attack the Ami with the sweat drops on her, charging in for a tackle.

5 damage - Real! Ami is at "hurt" now with a -0penalty. Equitas is on top of her and locks her in a submission hold!

Remember Ami can´t do anything else the turn she uses clone so she couldn´t defend herself either, but Equitas doesn´t knows that so she played conservatively.

Equitas: "I knew this was you!"

Roll 14d10 for next round´s initiative
>>
>>22600598
Sure that works, instead of fire-y punches it's a burning grapple.

The important thing is that there's fire, and Equitas is getting hit, somehow.
>>
Rolled 10, 8, 2, 4, 4, 4, 5, 1, 4, 3, 1, 6, 3, 1 = 56

>>22600655
How stupid would it be to have Ami's clone grapple Equitas is some bizarre grapple chain?
>>
>>22600665
Well I'm out, dice gods clearly hate me with a passion.
>>
Rolled 4, 1, 2, 8, 1, 7, 4, 3, 3, 7, 5, 1, 2, 2 = 50

>>22600665
3 successes, and Equitas got 3 too, and since they have the same mega dex, we´ll need to re-roll
>>
Rolled 3, 7, 6, 4, 7, 4, 1, 5, 4, 2, 8, 10, 3, 9 = 73

rolling
>>
Ami needs to Flame On at this point, folllwed by attempts to escape. Can the Clone help by trying to break the hold from the 'outside'?
>>
Rolled 1, 2, 1, 5, 8, 6, 8, 10, 6, 9, 7, 9, 6, 3 = 81

>>22600767
***Ami´s turn.***
Real!Ami is grabbed in a submission hold
Clone!Ami is free. The clone has ALL of her abilities except clone, but uses Ami´s pool to pay for powers.

Real!Ami
Grapple to try to get loose and revert the grapple
Immolate
Forcefield

Clone!Ami
Immolate
Forcefield
Grapple

And of course we can headbutt from either the original or the clone, and use multiple actions
>>
>>22600847
Real!: Immolate the break hold.
Fake!: break real out of submission hold if necessary, otherwise clinch+ immolate
>>
>>22600847

Ami: Immolate, then try to reverse the grapple. If that succeeds, Clone headbutts then punches. If it fails, Clone uses Grapple to break up the hold
>>
Rolled 9, 10, 8, 2, 1, 5, 3, 4, 3, 8, 4, 1, 9, 3, 9, 7, 4, 8, 4, 7 = 109

>>22600908
Rolling her Immolate damage. It activates without failing, and uses 2 more quantum, so she´s down to 33 now. Equitas is going to hold the submission and try to knock her out quickly to win before the immolate can begin stacking
>>
>>22600944
Bah I forgot I should make rolls in open for these cases.

4 damage from the immolate after the soak

The clone also triggers immolate (31 quantum now) and tries to peel Equitas off Ami.

Commentator: "It was no illusion! Red Jane´s clone has Equitas in a headlock while ... well, both redheads are grappling the titanium queen, and there are flames and stone-smashing power coming into play here!"

Equitas takes 8 damage total from both Ami, and we have her grabbed by a leg scissor lock around the head and another to her legs.

Equitas turn... she does 2 willpower damage to Ami, taking her down to 3 willpower total

Commentator: "But the titanium queen does not care! she wraps her own legs around Red Jane´s head and neck and squeezes, chocking the air out of her as she tries to win despite the odds and fighters stacked on top of her!"

Equitas takes 3 more damage from immolate, 11 total
>>
Rolled 10, 4, 5, 2, 5, 6, 4, 4, 4, 7, 4, 7, 1, 8 = 71

>>22600998
Roll 14d10 for the round initiative
>>
>>22601003
Wait, so Real Ami and fake Ami failed to break the lock?
>>
Rolled 3, 1, 3, 4, 6, 3, 1, 6, 1, 5, 7, 10, 4, 5 = 59

>>22601032
The clone locked Equitas but couldnt peel her off, and the real one moved it from being under a submission hold to a hold where they are both doing damage to eachother.
>>
>>22601071
In these cases, either one can just let go and end that hold (between equita and ami) but if equitas does it, she takes free damage from the original and is still held by the clone, so shes clinging for dear life, and Ami is trying to accumulate damage together with the clone since they do a lot of damage between the two.

Right now its a matter of what happens first, Ami´s doing the 9 damage remaining, or Equitas doing the 3 willpower remaining on Ami
>>
Rolled 4, 3, 1, 10, 2, 3, 6, 3, 9, 2, 6, 2, 9, 5 = 65

>>22601088
You can do willpower damage in a clinch? (I think that's what its called right?) Anyway, dice
>>
>>22601111
She did the clinch before the clinch started. You are right. Let me think... yeah Equitas needs to break the hold, escape the clinch, and probably use a weapon since hitting Ami herself would hurt her. If she succeeds at escaping, she will rip off a corner post, but first she needs to escape. Hold on lets seee... Ami goes first anyway

We have Equitas in a hold -and- a clinch, and both the original and the clone are in flames. Do you wanna continue as we are or do something else?
>>
>>22601152
If real amy isn't in danger of willpower damage she should try to headbutt Equitas. Same with fake. If she is in danger of willpower damage she needs to get out of that danger.
>>
>>22601194

This. If Ami stands to take WP damage, this turn, all the actions need to be about escape. Otherwise, it's all about the Burning Heart double-grapple
>>
>>22601194
Alright, double headbutt then. Twice each I assume? rolling...

Dodged
Hit
Hit (obviously)
Hit (obviously)

That´s... ALMOST damage enough to knock Equitas unconscious, but for no-- ah right the immolate damage, hold on, rolling it
>>
>>22601300
Unconscious by flaming headbutts.

Commentator: "And Red Jane double teams Equitas by herself, hitting her with meteoric headbutts that sink her titanium frame in the concrete ring! again! and again! and again! Equitas reaches forth to grab Red Jane by the collar and... she´s down, she´s unconscious. Red Jane softly loses Equitas grip on her clothes and signals the medical crew to help Equitas!"

The medical staff makes their way to the ring, and together with the Krew, dig Equitas out of the concrete and carry her off to the infirmary.

Commentator: "Red Jane wins her debut match! Using an ability we had not seen before in the XWF, she made a very real copy of herself to beat Equitas in a two-to-one fight, folks!"

Aura: "I didin´t know she could do that"
>>
>>22601427
"In terms of sheer power Ami is roughly on Python's level. Frankly the only reason she isn't in Omega is because I want her to have some experience before dealing with The Bomber Lord. That prick is possibly the only "heel" who is much worse off stage than he is on stage.
>>
>>22601427

"One of a kind, that girl..." Ned raises an eyebrow "Not getting ideas are you, Aura?"

Ned needs to go backstage now. Interviewers will want to see Ami, and with Brass there too, Ned can get them to plug Big In Japan
>>
>>22601534
Aura: "I was thinking what happens to the clone now, and if I could borrow it. For purely intellectual reasons, really"

Meanwhile the Ami´s are hugging and high give-ing each other on the arena, then greeting and waving to the fans, practically jumping out of themselves.

*******

Well, I finally got sleepy. Couldn´t sleep -at all- last night, so going to crash dead now. See you guys tomorrow
