>Last time, on Fantasy Quest
Anon, an overweight and lonely 30-year-old nerdy virgin had an unexpected, and largely unwanted, birthday present given to him by a mysterious voice. He was dropped in the middle of the woods in a fantasy world, transformed into a petite elven woman, filled with the knowledge and abilities of a low-level bard, and left there in the woods completely lost, naked, and without even the simplest of tools.

It was bullshit.

So, you struggled to survive, did a pretty terrible job of it, used magic song to tame a bear, and rode it to a stream. You followed the stream for a while, made camp, and were woken up by an orc prodding you with a stick. Rather than raping you, as expected, he turned out to be a friendly woodsman/ranger and gave you clothes and some food.

He brought you to a trading post, got you a proper outfit, a guitar, a drink, a gunbelt with a good-enough pistol and 20 rounds of ammunition, and most of it on the money he got from selling pelts. You paid for some of the gun with money earned from playing music to drunk people. Now, you're walking back with him to his cabin to spend the night because you feel a lot safer there than in a trading fort full of lonely dwarven and human men.

>Now

You strum on your guitar for a bit on the walk. It's not great, but hey, it's better than nothing.

Do you do anything in particular on the walk back to the cabin?

Try to make small talk with Jack - family, friends, what he does for fun - just time killing things. Find out more about who he is.

You decide that you'll spend the time chatting with the friendly Mr. Carson on the way back to the cabin.

"So, do you have any family back where you're from? Friends?" you ask, still plucking away at the guitar. It's interesting how many new habits have already started to appear since you got all of that bard knowledge, and a little disconcerting.

"Yeah," he says wistfully. "A big family. You know how orcs are." They're like Catholics on viagra. "Aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings. The whole Carson clan was living in Mildania." That's the big island NE of Marsen. The island is a Dwarven nation, its capital being the the Great Hold of Mild. It's mostly farmlands and forests and has a large lower-class orc population, largely descendents of slaves. "Friends, too, back in the village where I grew up and ones I met when I moved to Mild. That was before I had to flee here, of course. Anyway, what about you? Did you have much in the way of friends and family back when you were a human and somewhere else?"

"Well, I, uh," you say, feeling a little ashamed. You've already decided not to lie to him, though. "I didn't have many friends. And I lived with my mother. I wasn't very social."

"Really?" he asks. "You seem charming enough."

That's true, you've been more social and outgoing. That's disconcerting too.

After more conversation like this - such as finding out that Jack used to be an avid amateur athlete - you arrive back at the cabin.

What do you do now?
>>
>>22641423
It sounds like our bard class abilities are affecting our mind/personality, at least a little. Maybe being an elven woman is having a similar effect, hence our at-least-somewhat attraction to his big, hard, hairy, lumberjack-esque body. Anyway, let's see if Jack needs any help with chores or cooking dinner or something - assuming we're even remotely competent at any of that. Is cooking a bardic art form? If not, I wonder if our elf senses would help with that.
>>
>>22641423
Seduce him.

I kid, I kid. Let's see if we can make ourself useful.
>>
>>22641568
Can we also take some time to train with our gun?

He have been gently so far, no need to be aggressive. But we need to show, one way or another, we can defend ourselves in case he is thinking on something different.
>>
>>22641568
I'd do that hunky lumberjack Orc in a second. Especially if I was a small frail elf girl.

Anyways enough about fetishes, let's get back to the game. I second trying to cook for him.
>>
Get familiar with our new pistol (while it's unloaded, of course,) try to help Mr. Jack around the house, if there's anything that needs taking care of (setting up a guest room, help with the chickens, what have you.)

Humming a cheery tune while doing chores.
>>
>>22641423
also what did we do for work? college?

lets find out wear a wizarding school is and multi class
>>
Jack drops his axe down into the stump by the door with a practiced motion, then tosses his pack inside along with his spare shirt and takes a seat on his front step. He looks like he's just relaxing for a bit. You would really like to make yourself useful in some way. After all, he's fed you, clothed you, armed you, and sheltered you without asking anything in return. You feel obligated and in his debt and, damn it, he just seems like a pretty great guy.

"So, is there anything around here I can help with? Cooking, maybe?" you ask. Your cooking experience is mostly ramen, but you're hoping that your bard and elf talents cover this in some way.

Jack looks up... Barely. If he were sitting on a chair instead of a step, he would be almost as tall as you. He smiles. "Sure. I've got deer, eggs, and some edible roots and leaves tied up over the stove." He pulls that bigass knife out and hands it to you, presumable to cook with. "I'll go get a bucket of water and feed the chickens if you want to start now."

You take the knife and head in. Looking around, you see basil, rosemary, ginger, and a little cloth bag with some small potatoes hanging over the stove. There's not-much of a deer hanging in the corner. There are some eggs out in the chicken coop. There's a wood stove, a frying pan, and a metal pot, and you have a big fucking bowie knife.

What do you (try?) to cook with all that?
>>
>>22641749
>you graduated college with a 2.3 GPA and a computer science degree
>you were a 'freelance web design artist' meaning you made one or two websites a year and mostly mooched off your mom
>you lived in your mother's basement
>>
>>22641810

Rub some rosemary into the deer (under the skin) and get it slung up over the wooden stove to cook. Boil some potatoes in the pot to serve with the deer. Ignore the eggs and the basil and ginger for now.
>>
>>22641810
That sounds to me like it would make a fantastic soup. Something with a light broth, and a fried egg on top of it. We would need some noodles though to really bring it together...
>>
>>22641810
Start working on mashed potatoes, fry in a pan the meat you cut off, and fry some eggs with the meat. Use a bit o' spices when eleven intuition tells you to.
>>
>>22641810
Brown chunks of the deer in the pot first, season with liberal rosemary and a single basil leaf once browned, dice the potatoes, add water, simmer for an hour, and you'll have yourself a great stew.

You decide to make a stew using a bit of everything. You toss in some chunks of meat to brown - there's some bard knowledge, you wouldn't have even known what browning was before - dice some potatoes, add some rosemary, a basil leaf, some ginger. You sing and sway your hips while you cook. When Jack gets back, you pour in some water to let it start simmering, and it's already starting to smell pretty nice. You think Jack notices it too, because he's sniffing and grinning and looking over your shoulder.

Once it's simmered for a while, during which time you've mostly sat around, watched Jack chop fire wood, helped feed the chickens, you go and get an egg. If you're going to go out, let's really go all out, right? So, you take the egg and have your best attempt at egg drop in the stew - it should thicken it if nothing else.

..::||continued||::..
>>
>>22642210
When the stew's ready, Jack helps you lift the pot off the stove and pour out a big bowl for him and a small one for you. Their should be at least enough left for one more meal, maybe two, after this. Jack starts digging in, and seems to be enjoying it. "It tastes great," he says, reinforcing that fact.

You're not sure if you actually did a good job or if his standards are just low living out here, but you still feed proud, and appreciate the praise. And you must admit, it's better than the rough, unseasoned venison and eggs that was breakfast.

You're both full and warm and relaxing, when Jack says, "You can take the bed. I'll sleep on the floor."

What do you do?
>>
>>22642221
I almost say that we can share then remember I'm a dude in girls skin and sheepishly say thank you.

There is any rule about rerolling? I don't remember anything other than "whoever rolls higher wins".

Anyway: Can we ask to the orc why he is so kind to us? I love the attention and everything, but it feels bad to receive, and not give something in return.
>>
>>22642286
There is no real rule against it, it's just sort of a faux pas.

You find yourself about to say that there's room for both of you, but stop yourself. You remind yourself that you're a 30 year old man in a woman's body. You're definitely concerned now about the seemingly-foreign habits and personality traits that you're picking up along with the skills and body. "Uh~," you say, your voice quavering a bit. "Thank you."

"Not a problem," he says, standing, stretching, and then taking a quilt off the bed. He walks over to the other side of the cabin and puts his quilt next to his rucksack. You guess he's going to use the pack as a pillow.

"Hey," you say. "Why are you being so nice to me?"

Jack looks back at you with a confused look on his face, like he doesn't understand the question. "It's just the right thing to do, right?" he asks, like he's expecting it to be a trick question.

You go over and sit on the edge of the bed. Jack pulls off his boots, pulls down his suspenders... Takes off his shirt... And then pulls the quilt up around himself, lying down and trapping the rucksack in a bear hug under his head.

You could go out and do some elf things before bed, you guess - you can pretty much see by moon/star light. Or you can go to bed - and if you do, do you keep fully dressed, or get comfortable? Regardless, you slept on rocks last night; tonight should be much better.
>>
>>22642412
This is sooooo cute! I have no idea why!

Realizing that I'll probably be in this body for awhile I deem o get used to it and strip to panties and shirt and go to sleep after elf stuff.

>>
>>22642412

>>
>>22642412

We should ask him if there is any way we can get a decent job, or something to live on our own, so we do not have to depend on his generosity forever.

Drama mode: ON.
We can tell him how different is this from yesterday, how grateful we are for finding him and promise to pay him back for his kindness.

We sleep with all clothes on and a gun below the pillow

No sense in staying up, since were kinda behind on the sleep thing, due to a rock.

>>
You take off the gun belt and hang it on the bed post, leave your boots next to the bed, and take off your skirt and leave it folded up on the table, leaving you in shirt, underwear, and big thick wool socks. You climb into the bed and curl up. Yeah, this is WAY better than sleeping on the rocks on a river bank with a random tree branch to keep you covered.

"Good night, Jack," you say. It strikes you again how high and light and lyrical your voice has become. "And thanks."

"Night, Nona," he murmurs simply.

You close your eyes, and soon you're asleep.

You wake up to a thwok, thwok, thwok sound. It takes you a moment before you remember where you are, and realize that the sound is probably Jack chopping wood outside. You smell wood smoke, and realize that the cabin is warm from a small fire going in the stove. You look around - it's the grey light of early morning, before the sun has fully risen.

You're warm and comfortable. Your crotch is a little hot and has a tingle or an itch to it - you venture a guess that you're a little horny because it's been almost a day and a half since you last masturbated. I mean, that's certainly a long time based on your habits back home.

You get up and go to the table to put your skirt back on and notice that Jack's already set out a bowl of clear water for you to rinse your face and hands off. You rinse up and finish getting dressed.

Do you do some kind of chore or something else? If so, which chore?
>>
>>22642710

>>22642710

Clean the house and sing >>22642499
>>
>>22642845
Second the breakfast thing and the singing thing.
>>
You put the pot of stew from last night back on the stove to warm back up and do your best to start cleaning up. You brush off the table and chairs and shake out the quilts, but without a broom there's only so much you can do. While you work, you start singing, and you think your voice carries all the way out to Jack. The rhythm of his chopping changes slightly in time with your song.

While you work, you decide to start doing a mental inventory. Run through your new knowledge and skills and your old knowledge and skills - see if any of your old traits are being replaced or just added to. The skills and knowledge of the bard all all right there, easily accessed. You run through your programming and logic knowledge, your random encyclopedic knowledge, your useless bullshit nerdy trivial knowledge. That all seems intact too.

You decide now's as good a time as any to do a quick check on your sexuality too. You think about women - slender waists, curvy hips, big breasts, dat ass - and definitely get a response from your body. You're still attracted to women. Then you think of men - big muscles, hard bodies, rough skin and hair - and you find your gaze lingering on Jack, your heart beating faster and your body getting warmer. Okay, well, that's new to this body, this world.

It seems like the new things are on top of, not in place of, your old self.

It looks like the stew is done warming back up. Do you call Jack inside or find something else to do until he's done?

Another One Bites the Dust... yeah.
Don't Stop Believin' works too...
Bohemein Rhapsody we might have to change some locations but it should work easily.

>>
>>22643118
A lot of AC/DC works too.
>>
You decide to wait for Jack to be done outside before serving food. In the mean time, you get your guitar, take a seat, and start strumming. You've decided to start practicing your music skills by converting songs from your world into songs for this world by ear. You work your way, note by note and lyric by lyric, making sure to remove or change anything that the people of this world would lack the cultural context to understand.

Most of Queen remains intact, as well as AC/DC, but a lot of the Beetles needs to be changed or scrapped entirely. You somehow doubt that the people here would understand the references to current events of the 1960's or the references to LSD. After some time of this, you hear the chopping stop, and Jack walks in. "You warmed up some breakfast?" he asks, not waiting for an answer before walking over to the pot. He pours out a big bowl for himself and a small one for you, then brings them over to the table.

"I didn't recognize a lot of those songs," he says between bites of food. "Are they from your world or are you making them up?"

"A little of each," you say, forthright. "A lot of songs from my world talk about things that don't really have a parallel here."

He nods. "So, what do you want to do today? I'm happy to have someone to talk to, but I kind of doubt that you want to live out in the woods with an orcish hermit."

That's a good question. Do you have a plan other than enjoying Jack's hospitality?
>>
>>22643223
I would love some adventuring but I want jack to come with us somehow.

>>22643344
Johnny Cash? Yeah, that might work.
A few by Styx would work: Come Sail Away, Take Me Down the the River, Show Me the Way

America, too, if only for that Horse with no Name song.
How about Billy Joel? River of Dreams would work, but too many of his other songs have modern references...

How about some bands with female leads? The Dixie Chicks have a song or two that might work, and Fleetwood Mac is amazing.

We could go really old school and bring in some Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and (if we can get over him being a colossal dick) Richard Wagner.

Jack nods, looking... a little disappointed?

"You could come with me," you say. He seems to perk up a little at that.

"I'm not sure if that would be wise," he says, grimly. "I'm a wanted man in Mildania. And if we ever went to Seelie or Unseelie lands, we could both get into a lot of trouble for traveling together, especially if they accused us of being lovers. I'm not sure if I belong in the world."

He looks sadly around his small cabin. It's clear he would rather not be living out in the woods, but doesn't want to put you or himself at risk.

"I don't think I would be a very good traveling companion."

Well, he has somewhat of a point, at least. Events really did transpire that forced him out here to begin with. Maybe going back would be a bad decision for him. But it sounds like he's never even tried to go back, like he's written it off as impossible before checking.

Do you try to convince him to come with you?

"No, you should definitely come with me," you say, a bit more forcefully. "You don't even know if they're still looking for you. And even if they are, we can just avoid going there. We don't need to go to the Seelie or Unseelie lands either - after all, I don't even know what court I belong to. I could be in even hotter water than you. And I need someone I trust watching my back."

"I just..." Jack sighs and scratches his beard. "I don't know. I may not like living out here, but out here I'm safe, and I'm not a burden to anyone. I don't have to be judged for my green skin or tusks with nobody around." You remember your first reaction when you woke up to his face - you screamed, kicked him in the balls, and climbed a tree because you thought he was going to rape you. You would be lying if you said he didn't have some point.

Jack sighs again and stands up. "Listen, I... I think I'll just go take a walk. I need to clear my head and decide whether or not to go with you. I should be back by tonight."

Something tells you that you could probably push him over the edge in your favor if you seduced him. And there's been a niggling little voice in the back of your head saying to do that since you met him. But is that something you want to do? For that matter, is giving Jack the space he needs to decide on his own or convincing him to go with you more important to you?

Do you let him go or seduce him?

You silence your instincts and decide to let him go. You're trying to convince him, not manipulate him. He's been honest and respectful with you, so you'll do the same right back to him. He takes his wood axe and rifle out with him. There's about enough stew left in the pot that you'll be able to have lunch later.

That leaves the entire day free for you. You could try to attract animals with magic. You could target practice with your gun. You could explore. You could convert more songs. You could masturbate. You could even walk to the trading post again and be back about the same time Jack said he would be.

The real question is, what do you do first?

>>
You decide to multitask. You start by using magical song to lure animals in close enough to use them for target practice. Doing this, you learn two things. First, manipulating simple minds, like animal minds, using magic is really easy. Second, you're decent shot - not great, but not bad. You manage to land four out of your five shots, taking two rabbits, a quail, and a squirrel. The gunshots seem to startle them out of the control of your voice, though, and sent the one luck rabbit you missed bolting back off into the woods.

You realize, though, that you don't have a knife to skin them. You pluck the quail, at least, so that it's ready to cook. You keep the feathers too, in case Jack has a use for them. By this point, it's lunch time, so you finish off the stew, then wash the pot out in the stream. You should be ready to start preparing dinner once Jack gets back - or maybe even get started on it early.

You have some free time now, though, so you decide to get in some more multitasking. You're going to practice magic by making illusions to masturbate to. Pretty women, beefy men, and so on all take illusionary action around the cabin, to which you masturbate furiously. You're already a lot better than the first time you tried, but you have to stop after about an hour because your wrist and your clit is getting too sore to justify the fun.

You clean yourself up and get a bucket of fresh water.

Should you start cooking now or wait for a knife for the rabbits?
>>
>>22644398
Look around the house for a knife. Surely Jack has more than just one knife. If none our found, just start cooking dinner.
>>
>>22644398
I do not know if this is relevant, but afaik, it is entirely possible to skin a rabbit with the bare hands. However, if that is too gross for our lady, we just hang the rabbits and wait.

Also, what about looking for something to record our progress and songs? A notebook, a scroll, something. We could start a journal or something.
>>
>>22644398
The use of illusions made me giggle. Maybe take a look around the cabin, see if there's another knife or something similar you can use?

if we are going to cook first we are going to take the fat first and place it on the pan, let it fry for a bit, add some sliced potatoes...i don't know what else so i'm going to say a bit of every vegetable, also condiments, in thin slices we are going to add the quail meat and some rabbit meat, after some frying in the fat we are going to add some water to stew it, but we are not going to place any more water, when is starts to get less liquid we add 2 or 3 eggs and mix it and leave it until it is creamy
serving with some bread and voila! heart attack
most of the vegetables will be a goo mixed with the egg and fat with meat mixed in it, pretty tasty
>>
You decide to look around and see if you can't find a knife after all. You check under the bed, under the table, and behind the wood stove you actually find something. It's little, none too sharp, and the the tip is broken off, but you're pretty sure you could use it for skinning and gutting. You stick the animals up on the hooks in the back of the cabin, skin them, clean then, leave the pelts hanging on the hooks, and get started on a nice dinner.

Jack gets back right about when you're serving it up. His pants are wet up to the knees and he's carrying an extremely crude wooden spear and a bunch of fish. He looks a little surprised to see dinner already ready, looks at his fish, then lets out a big belly laugh and sits down.

"I wish I had checked whether you were going to go hunting before I left," he says. You and he both avoid the question, making small talk, as you eat. Once you've both finished eating, an uncomfortable, awkward silence builds. Finally, you're the one to break it.

"Well?" you ask, simply.

He sighs. Scratches his beard. "I'll go," he says, finally. "I won't have peace until I try, until I find out. Even if it just leads me right back here again, I've got to try, right?"

He said he would go with you! Yes! You're so happy you could kiss him!

"So, I guess the only question is when you want to set out. The trading post is a half-day away and the town with the train station is a full day past that."

What do you say? What do you do?

You move up and throw your arms around him, giving him a big hug. You break it quickly, though, then cough and say, "Sorry. I'm looking forward to traveling with you." You're not sure if you're blushing; you never used to blush when you were embarrassed, but you're not sure if this new body does.

"Yeah," says Jack. He looks nervous. Or anxious, maybe? "So, when do you want to head out, then?"

"As soon as possible," you say. "I don't want to procrastinate on this. Maybe tomorrow morning?"

Not wanting to procrastinate? Well, that's out of character for you, but you really did mean it.

"Okay," says Jack. He seems determined, now, to go through with it, even though he's nervous. "I'll set the chickens free tomorrow, then get everything worth anything loaded up into my pack." Then he gives you a big, toothy smile. "Thanks for convincing me to do this."

What now? Do you go to bed early to make sure that you're ready to hit the road first thing tomorrow, or do you do something before you go to sleep?

I read somewhere about placing the flayed skin over some salt, covering it with more salt, then press with a table and let it dry within the salt mound for like a week.

Maybe we can sell the hide for some money later.
>>
You decide that you and Jack should collect up as much as possible the night before, rather than the day of. You get most everything packed up before Jack goes off to sleep on the floor and you take the bed again. You even take down the pen walls of the chickens.

When morning comes, you make a quick meal of the fish, then pack up the pan. Before you set out, Jack hands you two of the chickens that lingered at their coop over the night, one for either arm, and he takes two as well. You sing some songs, and start teaching Jack the words to some of the songs from your world.

If you make good enough time, you might actually arrive at the trading post well before lunch. Is there anything that you want to do or talk about on the way there?

"So," you ask him, hoping you aren't treading in dangerous waters, "Why were you accused? I mean, you couldn't fight the accusation because of your race, but why were you accused in the first place?"

Jack let out a long sigh. He didn't seem angry, more... sad. "I had just moved to the Great Stronghold of Mild a few months back. I was settling in, making friends. This guy - Jimmy Stonehammer - he tries to recruit me as muscle for the Blackmountain family. Gangsters, nasty people. I refuse, so he gets a woman to say I raped he, trying to blackmail me into working for him."

"So instead, you ran," you say.

"So instead, I ran."

"So, Mildania is probably best avoided. Even if the charges against you have been dropped."

"Probably."

"Is there anywhere in particular that you do want to go, then?" you ask, changing the topic.

"Maybe go west. See Orsalem and Gulai."

Orsalem is the Orcish Catholic holy city, like Jerusalem, the Vatican, and Mecca all rolled into one. Gulai is the capitol of the former Horde, and still the largest orc city in existence.

"My grandfather always said that one of the things he always regretted was never making the pilgrimage to Orsalem. Still, it's an adventure in and of itself just to get to the continent, let alone crossing the jungle and desert to the city. That can wait for later."

"Of course I will," says Jack, his voice as grave and gravely as someone swearing an important oath. "Orsalem... You know, when I was younger, I used to want to go there and become a paladin. It was never an option, obviously."

"Why's that?" you ask. "What was your life like back in Mildania?"

"Well, I grew up on a farm," says Jack. "Learned how to do all of the work, and my pa used to take me and my brothers out hunting. Taught us how to shoot and survive in the wilderness. Then, when I came of age, I got apprenticed to a dwarven carpenter. It was a great opportunity - not many orcs get to learn a trade. I was about to open my own shop in Mild when the business with Stonehammer went down."

"So, was it the lack of money that kept you from going to Orsalem or something else?"

"Well, sure, there was the money. And by the time I was old enough to make the pilgrimage, I was in an apprenticeships."

"Do you still want to become a paladin if we make it to Orsalem?"

"I think you would make a good paladin," you say, simply. You would consider maybe giving him a hug or something, but your arms are full, and so are his. You and he makes some idle conversation the rest of the way, but that's about it.

After what seems like no time at all - spending time with Jack is really pretty fun - you arrive at the trade post. Jack leads you around, selling the chickens, the remaining pelts, his pot (but not his frying pan), and anything else he doesn't want to keep carrying. He also buys you a knife - you happened to mention that you lacked one when preparing dinner last night. It's a little clip point knife with a crude leather sheath and a horn handle - it fits your hand about as well as Jack's enormous bowie knife fits his.

By the time you're done with all that, it's just about lunch time. You and Jack grab something to eat and something to drink from the tavern. You elect to just take sips from Jack's beer this time instead of trying to have one to yourself. Once lunch is over, there isn't much left to do. The town is a full day's walk away, so you won't be leaving until the next morning, so you two have a few hours to yourself at the trading post.

Do you play music for people, go shopping for something, just relax, or do something else for the rest of the afternoon?

Play music, talk to travelers, see how the roads are doing lately, if there's any known bandit activity on the route we're taking, that sort of thing.

At a glance you think elves are just humans with weird ears, but then you start seeing the swiss army knife beneath and... well, elegance in design.

See if any cool looking wanderers are at the local pub and ask questions about them from the barkeep? We need more people for our adventurering party...while making sure we know enough about them. No mysterious wanderers here, only awesome ones who are wellknown and not bad people.

I said it yesterday when you drew the orc-pope, and i say it again: Catholic Orcs are the best thing ever
>>
>>22647236
I think we should keep it between us and Jack, at least for now. We can pick up new party members when we find interesting awesome people.
>>
>>22647292
Yea I agree. Looking for random people seems bad. Maybe if hear that there are bandits on the roads get a few like-minded individuals to travel with to the next town. Besides that best just us two.
>>
So how do we plan to break it to him that in the other world we were a dude? I ask because I get a dread feeling that this might be like an awful princess and the toad thing, only once he gets his dick into us we transform back into a guy, Then he freaks out and beats us to death... we should avoid acting to much like a female and try not to sleep with him, at least until we get a better Idea how permanent this body is
>>
>>22647436
Honestly, I figure just don't bring it up. We're not going to change back and it'll just complicate things. Besides we're not exactly a man anymore, our mind was altered as well as our body.
>>
You take out your guitar and play requests for cash while chatting with the people at the tavern. You talk about the road conditions - relatively safe when the natives ('wild,' courtless fae) aren't making raids, and they haven't been lately. You pick up local gossip, like how the railroad company has been deducting the price of the food they feed to employees and a 'bunk rental' charge, then refuse to let any external stores operate at the rail worker camps, forcing them to buy from company stores. You ask around to see if there's anyone interesting at the tavern, and the closest thing you find is an alcoholic who will eat anything - anything - for a one crown note.

You also hear about how ray weapons are starting to replace firearms in wealthy, developed areas. They're wands and staffs with pistol and rifle grips - they can hold more charges than a gun holds bullets and can be recharged by any spellcaster. They're expensive, though - very expensive. And if you tried to get them anywhere other than a Great Hold or a capitol, you're shit out of luck. Still, they're starting to drive down the price of ammunition even out in the sticks, so that's something.

It's getting well into the evening now, and Jack's purchased a cheap room at the tavern for you two - and you have a few crowns in your pocket from playing requests. What do you do now?
>>
>>22647461

I feel like it should be brought up eventually. Maybe...right now neckbeard-kun is very confused. Let him settle into womanhood before we start throwing bombs all over the place...also that was a hilarious mental image.

I can already see our next intoxicated visit at the inn after a successful adventure rolling against spilling that secret.
>>

That wandgun sounds awesome. Did you get that from something or is it a quest original?

Save the crowns btw. Might need them later. Play songs and hang with Jack until you sleep I say.
>>
>>22647503
Make sure we have a good supply of survival and wilderness equipment, if we're missing anything important go and buy it.

If Jack has a good singing voice do some duets with him, that sounds fun.

Make sure to get to bed early, we've got a early morning. And I advocate cuddling with him as we sleep and telling him that he's warm and makes us feel protected.

You and Jack both have some more to drink. You play and sing a few more songs, including a few rowdy drinking numbers. Jack even gets up and does a little jig to one of the songs that he knows, which is, to put it simply, a fantastic thing to watch happen.

When people finally start retiring for the evening, you and Jack decide to pack up too. The two of you head upstairs, laughing and joking, until you get to the room. The room is much smaller than Jack's cabin was. There barely looks like there would be room for him in the bed, let alone on the floor.

You frown. Jack's your friend - your best friend, really - and a fantastic guy. It felt bad enough to have him sleep on the floor when there was plenty of space.

"Hey, Jack?" you ask.

"Mmm?" he asks. He's already gotten his boots off, and he's working on his shirt now.

"You don't have to sleep on the floor. We can share the bed," you say. You would probably be a lot more embarrassed if you weren't so tipsy. "I mean, there's barely any room. And I trust you."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

You ditch your skirt and boots and get in the bed, and he gets in after you. You couldn't have not-cuddled if you had wanted to with how little space was in the bed and how big Jack was. He ends up on his back with you under his arm and using his solid, warm, hairy chest as a pillow.

Your heart's threatening to beat right out of your chest, but you feel safe.

Do you do or talk about anything else, or go to sleep now?

>>
>>22648082
Agreed. I for one welcome our hot elf body. And I'd rather not kill the cute with neckbeard stories.
>>
You're sleepy and the drink had gotten to you and you're warm and you're not going to be staying awake for much longer. "Thanks for saving me, Jack," you sort of mumble into his chest. You try to lean up to give him a kiss on the cheek, but you end up just planting a peck on his collar bone. Then you're out.

When you wake up, you're spooning. You two must have shifted positions while asleep. Jack's massive arms - bigger around than your slender leg - are wrapped around your waist. His big, hot, slow breaths keep stirring your hair and warming the back of your neck. His warm chest and abdomen is pressed up against the back of your shirt. You feel a hard, hot bulge pressing up against your ass, between your cheeks, though it feels like he still has his pants on, at least. Your legs are tangled up with his, and you realize that your hands are resting on his.

You're warm and comfortable like this. You can smell food just starting to cook down in the tavern, so it must still be well before sunrise. You don't need to leave for a few hours yet.

Do you get up, change positions, remain as you are, or do something else?

Holy shit, that's his cock. You feel your body grow hot, your breasts, your crotch, your ass, your ears tingling. You can feel his breath against your ear now - really feel it - hot and humid and right there.

You consider going further - grinding a bit or placing his hands on your little breasts.

You're not ready for that, though. Instead, you squirm just enough to press yourself even more tightly up against him - you can't help but grind a little, but that's not the intention - pull his arms up tight around your waist, and close your eyes again. This is nice. Really nice. A lot nicer than sleeping alone. Something in the back of your mind is telling you that you shouldn't be so okay with this, that you're a man in a girl's body, but you shush it. This is really nice, no need to second guess yourself.

After a long time of this, dozing happily half-awake, you feel him starting to stir. His breathing changes from slow and constant to faster, awake. You feel him give your waist a little squeeze, then lift your entire body weight gently up with a single arm just enough to slip the other one out from under you. You feel him slip out of bed and hear him starting to put his shirt on. Your back and your butt feel very cold now.

Do you get up and do something, or keep lying around? Do you pretend to have been asleep, or not hide the fact that you were awake?

You roll over and smile at Jack. He smiles back. You don't make any effort to hide, nor any effort to display, the fact that you had already been awake for quite some time. His shirt is on, but completely unbuttoned, still hanging open. You walk over to him, pull him down, and plant a peck on his cheek.

"Thanks for sleeping with me. I felt safe. And warm," you say. A few days ago, you never would have even imagined acting, or feeling, like this.

You swear that a hint of a blue-green blush appeared in Jack's cheeks. "My pleasure," he says, and starts buttoning his shirt back up.

You start getting dressed yourself, pulling on your skirt, putting on your shoes, putting your new knife on your gun belt and then putting that on too. "I want to get a hand spade before we go," you say, considering the fact that it will be a full day's walk before you're back to somewhere with a toilet. "And maybe some rope."

"Well, I've already got some rope in the pack," says Jack. "The spade's a good idea, though. We should get some jerky or something before we go too. We're going to have to eat lunch on the road and I would rather not have to set up a camp fire for that."

The rest of the preparations proceed quickly, both of you wanting to get on the road nice and early to avoid walking after dark. You get a spade, some trail rations, a quick breakfast, and set out.

Anything you want to do or talk about while on the road or at lunch?

You decide to spend the walk teaching Jack some orcish, and teaching him some songs to help do that. By the time lunch rolls around, you've covered basic grammar and some simple words and taught him a couple of songs by rote. Lunch is just some jerky. You two don't even stop walking to eat it, though it does stop the singing and the orcish for a while.

After that, you start telling him an orcish epic poem. That was how the bible was written in the first place, when it was an oral tradition, later transcribed into prose in book form. You translate the poem as you go, teaching him words and mentioning unusual/advanced grammar points. Jack seems to be getting most of it, and he's mildly interested in the lesson, but very interested in the epic poem.

The poem itself is of the life of an orc who started as a warrior, overthrew a warlord, became a leader, built his city and kingdom, and then was overthrown by a young warrior. The poem is cyclical and takes over an hour to recite from start to finish, but loops forever like that. Jack's of the opinion that it's interesting and exciting, but should have a proper ending instead of doing that.

You suppress the instinct to arrogantly >imply something about his opinion.

After a long day of walking, leaving you with sore feet, you arrive at the town. There are dozens of wooden houses close to the center of town, and many more dozens scattered out in the woods. Main street is cobbled, but the other streets are just packed dirt. There's a general store, a bank, a sheriff's office, a saloon, and a train station. You think you saw an inn too, but the saloon has rooms up top.

As you walk into town, you see a bedraggled man try to pull a revolver on a man with a big, shiny badge on his chest. The badged man draws faster, pulling what looks like a gun with a barrel made of wood and blasting a smouldering hole in the other man's shoulder with a flash of scarlet light. The badged man then walks up, kicks the gun aside, and drags the screaming man off in the direction of the sheriff's office by the collar of his shirt.

Welcome to Salvation, Arcadia, population 517.

What do you do first?
>>
>>22649286
Bard it up at the saloon.
>>
Rolled 30

>>22649286

Bard it at the saloon, and ask what happened with the gunfight.
>>
>>22649286
Ask who the badged man and the shot man are.

Then get rooms set up at the inn or saloon, whichever has the nicer bath.

Then take a bath, we've been on the road for a long while and our feet hurt, we need one. Take it with Jack, he'll need help washing his big strong back.

Then we can bard it up at the saloon, see what is available at the general store, if there are better quality instruments around, check if anything strange or needing investigation is happening. We might want to take the train when we leave, it's going to be faster than walking.

>Then take a bath
You know what we haven't tried yet? Using prestidigitation to make ourselves clean. We have basic utility magic, after all. We should be able to simply do that.
>>
>>22649351
I prefer this one.
>>
>>22649405
Does that mean we don't have to find alternatives for toilet paper? oh thank god.
>>
>>22649377
Side note for when we bard it up at the saloon. If we don't sing Johnny Cash there I'll be very sad.

>>22649405
Sure that might get us clean, but it's not as good as a bath. It won't relax our sore feet, it won't let us bathe with Jack, it isn't going to be as relaxing.
>>
>>22649425
look up johnny cash, you are my sunshine.

Sweet Home Alabama for an encore?
>>
You and Jack head in to the Saloon. You immediately spot an upright piano, an empty glass jar already sitting on top of it for tips. You slide on in and start playing, chatting with the locals about the scene that just happened out on the streets while Jack goes to get a room - this place is apparently shabbier than the inn, but it's also cheaper and has bigger beds because there are a few whores who work out of the saloon.

You get a few tips and requests in your jar, and you learn a fair bit about what happened. Apparently the man who got shot was a regular alcoholic who got in a three-way fight with his wife and one of the working girls. The sheriff came to break up the fight, but the drunkard wasn't having any of that, and the fight escalated until they were both kicked out of the saloon. Based on what you hear about how the sheriff usually handles his justice, the man was lucky to only have a hole in his shoulder from trying to draw on a law man.

Jack comes back with a couple plates of food. "Do you want to eat down here or in the room?" he asks.

If you ate in the room it would give you a chance to take off your shoes and relax. Eating down here would let you socialize with all of these fine, shady customers, though. Either way, it's starting to get dark out - the shootout happened just before sundown.

What do you do?

Eat down here, socialize with people, learn more about the town, recent events, if there are any opportunities an entrepreneur could capitalize on.

Play "You Are My Sunshine" so we can make everyone cry.

Also ask where the best place to have a bath would be, we need our bath with Jack, we can have him tenderly wash our ears.
>>
>>22649650
Have we even had the opportunity to see if our ears are sensitve as a sexual organ yet? I've read some things... and it's not out of the realm of possibility here.

We also have to check if we have a self-lubricating asshole.

They've been mentioned as sensitive and one of the parts of us that tingled when we were pressed up against him while cuddling. Also his breath on our ears felt good.

So yes, they're sensitive and we need to have him tenderly rub and stroke them while we squirm in his lap.

You decide to stay downstairs. Your poor, sore feet can wait a little while longer, at least. You play one last song, leaving grown men with firearms with moist eyes. Johnny Cash. Then you sit down at a table with Jack and start eating, chatting with the people there about what's been going on around town.

You hear a rumor that some rail workers are saying they're being cheated by the train company; that they want to take what they feel they're owed. You hear that the town's population has nearly doubled in the past year alone, and that crime has increased by at least that amount. You hear that the general store has a huge debt owed to the bank, and that the owner is trying to clear inventory as quickly as possible in order to pay it off before he loses the store. You hear that lately the natives - the wild, courtless elves that live in the woods - have been quiet. Too quiet, maybe. Not that they're accusing you of being a wild elf, they're quick to mention - you're much too fair-skinned and light-haired for them to make a mistake like that. The wild elves are all brown.

Finally, you finish with your dinner. The crowd is starting to get too rowdy to actually talk to, as it's getting into the evening, when the heavy drinking finally starts. You're feeling tired and your feet are sore. Jack looks like he wants to rest, but he keeps looking around, watching for trouble.

Do you do anything else in the saloon or head up for the night?
>>
>>22649886
Looks like it's been taken care of.
>>
>>22649913
nah lets just go to bed
>>
>>22649913
Excellent, we'll be getting great deals when buying stuff from the Gen Store.

Side note, wild elves are delicious brown elves, awesome.

There might be trouble soon if we stick around in town for a while.

I'd like to take a bath before we go to bed, make sure Jack takes one with us, it'll be relaxing for both of us. Other than that bed sounds good.
>>
>>22649913
>Brown elves
Well, I say we should pay a visit, for science or whatever.

But first, rest.
>>
>>22649913
don't need to stay and cause trouble for Jack. If someone gets into it with him other us being the cute rape-able elf we are, then it's our bad for staying.
>>
>>22649949
yes;

"...would you like to accompany me to a Bath Jack?" ask causally, but in a manor that implies you really want him too, hopeful, but not desperate
>>
>>22649949
I agree with this. We're covered in dirt from the road, don't want to sleep when we're both dirty, dusty, and sweaty.
>>
>>22649992
Wow we're just gonna be naked all the time around him. I say we take a bath alone. I don't think we're that ok with our sexuality yet.

>>

Bed seems good, and if Jack's getting worried about us then we should do him a favor.
>>
>>22650047
no one said we have to fuck him tonight, but a bath would be nice
>>
>>22650047
We snuggled up against his boner while we slept, and were aroused at that. We were thinking about moving his hands to our breasts, this is the natural progression of things.

Besides with his massive chest and back he might have trouble washing his back thoroughly and we need our ears washed, which is easier for someone else to do.
>>
>>22650081
>we should do him a favor
Are you suggesting sucking his dick, rubbing his feet, or some other kind of favor?
>>

I'm just wondering what was being suggested. It was vague.

I'm thinking mutual back-washing with some minor sensual moments.

Nope, nothing at all.

We're taking a bath with him and gently washing his back after he washes our ears. And then we nearly fall asleep so he carries us up to bed where we cuddle up against him.

Perfectly pure and innocent.

We should ask the man what he thinks. Seriously, be all " Whatever can I do to repay you?" or awkwardly, shyly ask if he thinks we're being too forward, if he asks what we mean, we say "oh nothing! nothing! -blush- I'm just being silly." and awkwardly fall asleep cuddling against his back.
Why have no jokes about cold feet been made? Bitches have some ice-death cold toes.
>>

I suddenly feel the urge to start a heavy metal band and name it Ice Cold Death Toe.

I don't even listen to heavy metal.

"Do they have a bath tub here?" you ask. "I feel like washing up."

"Yeah, it's up the stairs and at the end of the hall," says Jack, pointing up there. "They said they even have hot and cold running water. That's not common in these parts."

You nod, stand up, and say, "Come with me."

"Uh. What?" asks Jack, a little flabbergasted.

"Come take a bath with me. I'll wash your back, you'll wash mine. We can get behind each other's ears too," you say, taking a tone of pragmatism.

Jack gives you a long, hard look, then says, "Okay, Nona. I'll meet you up there after I drop the bags off in our room."

You head on up, going to the door Jack pointed out as the bathroom. It's not too large, has simple ceramic tiles on the floors and half-way up the walls, a toilet, a sink, and a real, proper mirror. You turn on the tap and start filling the tub up, fogging up the mirror and window. You start taking your clothes off, starting with your shoes - ah, much better - and then continuing until you're not wearing anything. Which is really not that big of a deal, now that you think about it, since Jack already basically saw everything during that first exchange between you two.

And you really are just going to wash his back. Nothing more. You hear the door opening and head over to help Jack get undressed.

..::||continued||::..
>>
>>22650568
It wasn't Jack at the door. It was one of the rough gentlemen from downstairs, reeking of cheap liquor and with a revolver drawn. Your gun belt is on the other side of the room. "Shut up and come with me," he says, gesturing vaguely down the hallway to where a room door hangs open.

Your eyes go wide. Your body freezes. And then you scream. What happens next happens almost too fast for your elf eyes to track. The man flinches, then his eyes narrow. The gun drops, then sweeps back up. His finger starts tensing on the trigger.

Then 300 lbs of angry, bellowing orc slams into him from behind and the shot goes wide, punching a tiny hole in the wall a few inches to your left. Jack grabs the man's wrist and smashes it against the ground - you hear a snap, and then the gun slides across the tile floor. He picks the man up by the front of his shirt, slams him against the wall - and you regain your composure and mutter a sleep spell, knocking the man out instantly.

Jack stands there for a second, eyes wide, breathing hard, and arms trembling as he holds the unconscious man up like that. Then he takes a deep breath, lowers his arms, and says, "You should put on your clothes. We should bring this man to the sheriff." His voice cracks and shakes as he talks, and you can hear a low growl in the back of his throat as he talks.

You suddenly realize how shaky your legs and hands are. Holy shit.

What do you do now?
>>
>>22650571
HORY SHET.
We should do what Jack says. I mean, he did just stop us from getting raped.
>>
>>22650571
Do as Jack says, we will bring him to the sherriff and if need be sleep in our cloths
>>
Besides never being more turned on in my life I do as he says.
>>
>>22650571
Pick up the discarded gun. It might be a .357
>>
>>22650571

Re-dress, then hug my savior, and haul this bastard to the Sheriff's office for interrupting our mildly sensual bath time.
>>
>>22650571
Right, order of things to do. Kick the sleeping fuck in the balls and make sure to search him for weapons, that gun is ours now. Take control of the situation, Jack is angry as hell and we need to calm him down, looking like we've got everything in hand ought to do that.

Put on clothes, give Jack a calming hug, thank him for saving us, accompany Jack to turn the scumfuck in.

How dare he interrupt our sensual bath time.
