Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to another edition of Succubi Quest! Big Money! Big Prizes! I love it!

Last time on Succubi Lord quest, we basically concluded our meeting with the noble girls. Upon giving them some suggested reading material, we found that one of the Nobles, Amanda, was far too eager and went to the library ahead of us. After a small chat with our friend Roger, Brooklyn went home only to be assaulted by a book, then played a manly dressed up session with Mina, followed by a romantic romp in the bed, let’s see how that worked out!

(Mina acquired new item! Brooklyn’s ‘other’ innocence!)

You eyes snap waken in the morning, with then only the thoughts of last night quickly flooding back into your head. A hazy recollection of half-remembered experiences and perceptions, similar to any other nightmare that you’ve had before. You slowly begin to shiver in the fetal position as the parts you do remember slowly come back to your mind.

Mina just stretches, making a long and satisfied grunt as she does so. “Ah! Last night was fun!”

“You... you violated me...” you mutter as you recall the events from last night.

“Oh don’t worry! I was gentle!” Mina dismisses, but then leans in close to whisper in your ear. “Besides... From the way you were thrashing about last night, you seemed to enjoy it...”

You can feel her tail slide along your bare legs, making you suddenly twitch in reflexive fear.

“Besides, you know that I’d never actually hurt you. I did try to make sure that you enjoyed it as well.” Mina says while her finger caresses your hips.

You reflect back upon last night. The things Mina did with you certainly wasn’t unenjoyable. “...It was... Unique... J-just don’t do it again without my permission.”

“Oh I’m sorry if I was a little too forceful. I’ll try to be more gentle next time.” Mina says, leaning in to give you a quick peck on the lips, with which you are all too eager to return. “So is it time for the morning tea?”

“Hm... Yea I guess it’s about that t-” your heart skips a beat as you notice on the clock in your house that it is early 9:47 AM. “OH SHIT! I’m late!”
>>
>>23016310

[2/3]

“Huh!? Late for wa!?” Mina asks as her body is instantly covered in blankets.

“Late for my meeting with one of the noble girls!” you say as you shapeshift into Sara, quickly grabbing your panties and putting them on before grabbing your bra. “I’m supposed to meet her at ten this morning and... ARGH! God damnit this bra!”

“Brooklyn! Calm down!” Mina chuckles softly while seeing you overreact. “Here let me help you with that.”

“Thanks... You think after nearly two weeks I’d learn how to put a damn bra on by now.” you tell Mina as you put your arms through the straps.

“You you don’t want to KNOW how long I needed in order for mine.” Mina says as she connects the back. “Viola!”

“Thanks Mina. I’m sorry about the lack of morning tea, but that’s going to have to wait until I get back later in the day.” you tell Mina, heading over to your witches dress and quickly putting it on.

“Oh don’t worry! I know you have some things to do and all that!” Mina says dismissing you. “...In fact I think I may probably head out myself. Now that I’m all healed up I may go out for something to eat.”

“Oh? Where to?” you ask her.

“Adamant Door. It cetainly was annoying being cooped up there for nearly two years, but it was a fun experience! I was also never hungry from constantly performing for the crowd! Plus I want to see how the boss is doing too.” Mina says

You can feel your own stomach rumble a bit at the prospect of being fed. “...Yea feeding doesn’t sound like a bad idea... But for now I really gotta make that meeting!”

“Take care Brooklyn!” Mina waves to you as you dash out of the house.

Despite your best efforts, you only manage to reach Europa at about 10:07 AM. The cafe Maid takes you upstairs, and opens the door to show Leona already sitting down on the table while sipping tea and still mostly dressed in her winter clothes.

“I-I’m so sorry!” you say, somewhat panting as you enter the room. “I-I was up late last night, and I must’ve s-slept in!”

“O-Oh no. Don’t worry. I-It’s alright really.” Leona says, sounding like she’s apologizing.

“But it’s OK! We can get started right away on any questions that you m-” you stop in mid-sentence as you root around in your teachers bag for your notes, only to feel a metaphorical spike driven into your chest. “Oh no! I left my notes at home too!”

“...It’s alright Sara. You hardly ever looked at the anyways.” Leona says patting you on the back for encouragement.

You can only moan in disbelief, feeling evermore like an idiot for doing such a thing.

“If anything, it makes you appear all the more like a person.” Leona states.

(What do you do now?)
>>
Rolled 68

>>23016333

Take a deep breath, calm down, and say, "It's probably for the best anyways. These one on one sessions are more about getting to know each other better then they are about structured lessons anyways. Please, tell me, what exactly would you like to learn about with these sessions? What are you hoping to gain from these meetings?" (Suggestion "it's ok to share any concerns or questions you may have. I am on your side")
>>
>>23016333
How much do we know from memory? Anyway, I was more interested in becoming her friend and talking to her about her doubts then actually teaching her something in particular.
FYI, a few people last thread talked about being more aggressive in various ways with Mira in bed. I'm don't want to make a huge deal about how things apparently turned out, but please do keep that in mind.
>>
>>23016333
Turn on AURA SIGHT. Because always have that on for this sort of thing.

We can live without notes, we're just that good.

"My apologies. I'm just a humble scholar, I can't remember everything all the time.

This session is mainly about getting to know you better, answering any questions you have, and assuaging any worries you've been holding in.

Now I know you had some reservations concerning the similarities between Angels and Demons, would you mind sharing them with me dear?"

("You can talk to Sara about this, she only wants to help. She's a scholar, she isn't going to lie or mislead you.")
>>
>>23016462

I made note of it. I got the Fade-to-black planned out, but it won't be written for a little while due to midterms and such.
>>
>>23016415
this

>>23016462
the bed result was an irc vote, and it was unanimous that it ended like this
>>
>>23016467

Aura sight is ALWAYS a good thing!
>>
>>23016566
Aura sight GOOD. At least this is with Leona and not the others. Discuss some theology with her and answer questions about aetheric beings.
>>
>>23016514
What were the other potential results?
>>
>>23016594
the reverse of this situation was the other option presented
>>
>>23016467
this sounds good for now
>>
>>23016483
Fair enough. I just wanted to head off a potential problem since it looked like people wanting to tie Mira up somehow got translated to "she does whatever she wants to you and you go along with it, again". Didn't want that whole emotions thing to rear its head up again.
>>
You give a small sigh as you lament the loss of your notes. While you *can* teach without them, they’re more like a small checklist of things you typically like to go through. More of a reminder if you will.

“It’s probably for the best anywho. These one-on-one’s are more suited to get to know the other person rather that structured lessons.” you tell Leona as you turn on your Aura sight. “But tell me, what exactly would you like to learn from these sessions? What are you hoping to gain? (Share any questions or concerns with me, I am on your side”

Leona’s aura flashes a bright orange before returning to it’s yellow (idealistic) colour. “Well... Let’s just say that it mainly involves my family. I-I don’t want to join them! I-I just want to learn more about their... habits from an independent source.”

“What kind of habits?” you ask.

“I-I’d get in trouble if I said any more, but my main goal is that I want to free them from the grasp of the demons. I want them to become free, honest, and good people. Just like how the Church of Illysia preaches to people.” Leona says. It appears that she’s resisting for some of the more sensitive information, more effort may be required to pry that out.

“You mentioned that before. I don’t mind what you practice, but can you tell me what you think of Angels and demons?” you ask her.

“The difference is as clear as night and day! Demons only think of themselves in all matters! They took over our planet long ago, and now Lord over it by forcing their corrupt values and beliefs on everyone! Angels on other other hand are pure and noble beings. Capable of only doing good and only understanding evil to the extent that is needed to judge whenever an act is evil or not.” Leona says.

Wow, talk about a black and white view on the world...
>>
>>23016722
Start talking philosophy and exchange information then. Use just the tiniest bit of hidden suggestion to have her open to us.
>>
>>23016722
>“The difference is as clear as night and day! Demons only think of themselves in all matters! They took over our planet long ago, and now Lord over it by forcing their corrupt values and beliefs on everyone! Angels on other other hand are pure and noble beings. Capable of only doing good and only understanding evil to the extent that is needed to judge whenever an act is evil or not.” Leona says.
>Wow, talk about a black and white view on the world...
first think we need to work on is getting her to see the world as shades of gray.
>>
>>23016722
"Leona, I have no wish to hurt your faith, but faith that is held without full knowledge of things is not as strong as faith that has been tested, faith that is still strong after learning more. I swear that everything I tell you is the truth, I'm a scholar above all else." ("She's telling the truth, believe her.")

Then talk to her about different varieties of Demons, about the similarities of Demons and Angels, questionable acts and moralities that some Angels have followed. Try to lead her to the conclusion that Angels and Demons while they are in opposition to each other are both capable of good and evil, that nothing is ever quite as simple as she thinks it is. Use suggestion if needed to hammer points home. Admit that the Pride Demons as a whole are controlling dicks, but use examples that show that Angels can be just as controlling.

Throughout all of this keep Aura Sight on, be gentle with our revelations, keep acting very scholarly, if she gets mad calm her down and reassure her that we wouldn't lie to a student of ours.
>>
>>23016763

What particular bit though? Saying you want to talk about philosphy is akin to saying you want to talk about Science even though there are many fields.
>>
>>23016722

While I can't say that I agree with your view of angels and demons, I respect your stance. I am not here to try to convert you to my beliefs after all. At the same time, I should tell you that I have little desire to "save" people that don't want to be saved. If any of your family have a problem I would be more then glad to try to help, but I should tell you right now that I have as little desire in helping you turn your family from what they believe in as I do in turning you from what you believe. (read her reaction to this stance)
>>
>>23016797
this will probably be difficult as the only demons she likely "knows" are those pride bastards.

>Capcha
>iatibust aide
looks like the capcha wants to turn her as well
>>
>>23016836
Oh, and make sure to include examples of Demons being kind. Hell, we can use Blizzarios being kind and good to children, admit that while he was controlling she saw him herself, she saw him play with kids, make people happy, and so on.
>>
>>23016840
Mostly her view of the world. We're trying to broaden her horizons there. Talk about the different kind of Demon and angels while weaving in suggestion to make her consider things differently.
>>
>>23016857
>Blizzarios being kind and good to children,
he was a pedo so that might not be the best example
>>
>>23016844
We haven't exactly told her our beliefs. Also, that is a blatant lie.
>>
>>23016836

I think that would be pushing things way too fast. We've already shaken her up on that issue. Let's save any preaching for when we have Brodin and her two friends backing us up.
>>
>>23016797

Let's seduce her. Idealists are usually virgins or sexually frustrated, if she'll fall into sinful trap of lezzing, she'll be soon learning real spells from our D&D books.
>>
Maybe we can give her a history lesson on the succubi empire.
>>
>>23016898
>Maybe we can give her a history lesson on the succubi empire.
>forbidden forgotten knowledge that we shouldn't know
maybe later
>>
>>23016883
Yeah, but she doesn't know that.

>>23016886
Full on seduction might be a bit fast, but holding her hand, being comforting, and leading up to actual seduction might be good.
>>
>>23016878

It's pretty obvious from what we have said that we disagree with her, also, it's not a complete lie. Unless you want to suddenly start using suggestion to ram our beliefs down her throat we've been pretty consistent in offering people options that they can take or not. While she may some day decide to follow our path, we aren't forcing anything on her, or even really trying to trick her. Everything she's done or might do is completely her own free will.
>>
>>23016303
No skill ups?
Did Brooklyn at least got a bit more closer to Mina?
>>
>>23016968
The "I am not here to try to convert you to my beliefs after all" is a lie, since that is exactly what we are scheming to do.
>>
we could tell her about the Miyian Gwendolyn and how she sacrificed her self to defeat the Science lords
>>
>>23016483
not the previous anon, but you might not want to base things purely on 'irc vote' in the future.
>>
>>23017011

I thought we were there to see if we could get any uses from these girls? Also, I've seen more then one post about making her a succubus with true faith, so I'd say you're not 100% there. Do we want to use her? Sure. Do we necessarily want to convert her? That's not so sure.
>>
>>23017048
Strongly agree, though reserving judgement until I see the FTB
>>
>>23017059
> succubus with true faith,
that's stupid, who want's self-immolating demons?
>>
[1/2]

“I... don’t mean to hurt your faith Leona, but a faith that is held without full knowledge of the world isn’t as strong as a faith that has been tested. Would you agree?” you ask.

“I agree completely.” you hear Leona say, shocking you by speaking in a firm voice. Her aura colour remains yellow (idealistic).

“Well first off, what about the types of demons who have done good things? Yes I will say that Articus plunging our lands into an eternal winter is a bad thing, but what about people such as Blizzarios? Surely you saw him and how he enjoyed being with children.” you tell her.

“That’s because demons are incapable of doing good things.” Leona tells you.

“Oh? Care to explain this point?” you ask.

“The Chuch of Illysia tells one to ‘be cautious of the demon, for they care only for themselves. Do not be deceived by their so called ‘good’ acts. The Demon only careth for themselves and their egos, and cannot comprehend that their acts carry good intent.’” Leona says directly quoting the book.

“Then how do you explain the bad acts that Angels do? Yes we probably hear a fair share of propaganda, but the Purging of Rome was a real event. Were the Angels that attacked that city justified in killing off every single soul there, regardless of age or sex?” you ask her.

“That’s... That’s because Angels are the servant of an all powerful being, who is capable of only understanding the good. Likewise, Angels themselves cannot do any evil actions, as they are incapable of actually performing evil.” Leona says. “I looked into the bit about Lucifier, and that is mainly explained by God giving him the capacity for both good and evil, the freedom for both, was it not?”
>>
>>23017022
Or we could, you know, not push the whole pro demon thing forward while she's talking about how she's trying to save her family from the grasp of demons. I'm just saying.
>>
>>23017081

[2/2]

“...I guess you could explain it that way. But how do you justify the fact that the angels killed millions?” you ask.

“We are only imperfect human beings. To us it may appear to be a tradegy, but in reality we most likely didn’t understand the greater good of the actions they undertook.” Leona states.

...Oh wow. Oh wow. This kid is basically the poster child for what Brock said. Even more surprising, this girl actually appears to be as smart as Amanda in a way. Maybe not as sharp, but she definately appears to have a good degree of smarts. Hell, she’d probably have to in order to be a worshipper of the Church of Celestia right under Langy’s nose.
>>
>>23017008

She would've yes. I never popped the emotional question, as Brooklyn had to bolt right out of the door as soon as he woke up.

>>23017048
>>23017074

Noted. Rest assured I think I got a happy medium planned out for the FTB, so hopefully you shall not be disappointed.
>>
>>23017091
Interesting... What do you know about the old succibi empire?
>>
>>23017163
>What do you know about the old succibi empire?
that odds are that she knows nothing about it.
>>
>>23017091
Start using hidden suggestion to make her doubt. We don't want to force her to believe us, but maybe just [Hey that make sense]. We want to be subtle about it.
>>
>>23017091
This is going to take more work than bonking her over the head with a spell or a bible fight. Need to look for logical inconsistencies and gently prod towards freedom based philosophy. Also, Angels offed the Pope? Awesome.
>>
>>23017185
Its more of an introductory statement.
>>
>>23017091
Yes, use suggestion when trying to convince her.
>>
>>23017091

Welp, looks like we've completely sidetracked from any useful discussion into the realm of theology. Cause that always gets you anywhere in real life and all... Oh well... Since we seem determined to spend the next hour trying to convince a holder of true faith that she's completely wrong in a one on one discussion.. "There is one thing I've always been baffled about with God. Seeing as he is all powerful and all, is he able to create a rock heavy enough that he can't lift? I've never been able to properly wrap my head around that question."
>>
>>23017091
"Leona, I have to disagree with you on you saying that Demons are incapable of good and that they do not understand any good in what they do. Demons have choice just as Mortals do, they can do evil they can do good, they can act honorably or dishonorably.

How many Demons have you actually met? Have you met any Demons that weren't Pride Demons?"

>>23017219
That is a silly theological question.
>>
>>23017215

So we're turning to the dark side here? Convincing her that we're right is one thing. Making her our puppet that can only believe what we tell her to... that's really not my style.
>>
>>23017249
>Making her our puppet that can only believe what we tell her to..
suggestion isn't that strong
>The suggestion must be worded in such a manner as to make the activity sound reasonable
>>
>>23017249
Dark side? I think you are over exaggerating and overestimating what suggestion does.
It's not making her our puppet. But to breach her self made wall of belief. Make her doubt the book.
>>
>>23017091

"Interesting philosophical stance, you have points for noticing the limits of our understanding of the world" - let's say to her, while trying to break ice, sitting near her and generally warming her up with our warm personality and big, kissy lips "You see, I agree with that kind of thinking. Have you ever heard of Spinoza? He lived long, long ago before demons came. He first noticed that what for one human might seem good, for other might be evil. Let's say person is very ill and we have a cure for his ilness - in that case, that human perceives it as a blessing. On the other hand, if we would try to apply the same cure for other person with different illness, he might perceive it as evil. The same goes for relations between us and the world. He called it - ethical relativism"

Let's do something like that. And lezzing. LEZZING
>>
>>23017248

As silly as wasting our hour trying to tell a holder of true faith that they're wrong without and shred of evidence to back us up? When we were planning to have a freaking angel on our side next session to deal with this very matter? Well, I guess an hour alone with her is enough time to use our powers to break her to our will without interruption. It just seems out of character for Brooklyn to start breaking people now, but whatever.
>>
>>23017340
>It just seems out of character for Brooklyn to start breaking people now, but whatever.
no one said anything about breaking people, we're just trying to worm some reasonable doubt into her system.
>>
>>23017091
As we talk move closer, be a nice comforting presence, hold her hand, maybe get some hugs in.

"Leona, as a thinking human being it is imperative that you are willing to question the acts of anything whether it be God or Devil. By saying it is impossible to understand the Greater Good of God's actions and that it must not be questioned you are denying yourself as a thinking being. (She has a point, listen to her)

What I want to do is provide you with facts and let you draw your conclusions from that. Locking yourself with the conclusions that Demons can do no good and Angels can do no evil is prevents you from growing and learning more. (Listen to her, don't reject what she says.)

I have seen and heard of Angels committing atrocities because men didn't follow an arbitrary restriction put in place. I have seen Demons do the same. But I have also seen Angels heal the sick and Demons protect the innocent for no other reason than it being the right thing to do. (She wouldn't lie to you, she's telling the truth.)"
>>
>>23017333
A bit forward for my tastes.
>>
>>23017299

In that case, I expect that the use of suggestion will be amusingly ineffective. Seeing as we're basically using it in a "Everything you believe is a lie" format. Oh well I'll just shut up now so we can see how this goes.
>>
Yeah, let's not try to break Leona.

She's a perfect infiltrator to break apart the Langley family institution here. We don't even need to give her powers, she can do well on her own.

As long as her goals coincide with ours, then she can be of great use to us. We don't have to succubi EVERYONE we see, after all.

Throw her at Brodin later on, get her used to the idea of angels and demons not killing each other, and leave it at that.
>>
>>23017396
>I have seen and heard of Angels committing atrocities because men didn't follow an arbitrary restriction put in place. I have seen Demons do the same. But I have also seen Angels heal the sick and Demons protect the innocent for no other reason than it being the right thing to do.

“Leona, I kind of have to disagree when you say that demons are incapable of ‘the good’ and are incapable of understanding any concept outside of their own ego. Have you met any other demons outside of Pride Demons?” you ask her.

“Just a Greed Demon when I went to Old T.O. when I was younger. He... acted the same way as other Pride Demons did really.” Leona says, her aura turning into an orange (fear) colour.

Hm... She probably had some bad experiences with the demon.

“Well demons technically have the same amount of freedom as normal humans do. They’re capable of acting in either good or bad, and have the capacity to understand both their actions. The ancient Warlord Ghenis Khan most likely didn’t see anything wrong with his actions. Most likely either did Demon Lord Freeza during the Atlantic Purge.” you tell Leona.

Leona’s aura then shifts into a Gold (spiritual) colour aura. “Alright then, let’s assume for a moment that Demons are akin to humans, in both having the capacity to do good or evil in addition to the possibility of understanding the intent behind those actions. In the end for humans, it is excusable for us to do occasionally bad things, as we lack a greater picture of the good. If we follow the good, which is the teachings from the Church of Illysia, we can then enter heaven and become closer to God, an infinitely good and pure being. Demons however, cannot ever enter heaven as residents. Therefore it implies that no matter what good demons do, they are not worthy in the eyes of Celestia. The only reason one such thing could happen is because they were incapable of good. Therefore, demons are not capable of the good.” Leona explains.

Why no use of suggestion Sand?

>>23017534
What is Brooklyn's knowledge about Celestia?
Can he claim for certain that he knows more about how Heaven oporates and afterlife in general?
>>
>>23017648
Brodin gave us a crash course on afterlife
>>
>>23017648

Brooklyn probably knows more about Celestia, Heaven, and the afterlife thanks to his studies and Brodin's first hand accounts. Leona's information mainly appears to come from the Christian Bible and the Illysia Bible (Brooklyn has read the former, but not the latter)
>>
>>23017534
We can always introduce Brodin as an angel to her. He can explain about afterlife far more than us.
Didn't he also say that certain pantheons or something have different versions of afterlife?
>>
>>23017534
"Simply because God doesn't like or accept them does not mean they are incapable of good. Angels and Demons are in conflict with each other, this isn't part of the good and evil discussion, this is two large organizations who dislike each other. They fight over followers, believers, and so on. (She's making sense)

God is not the sole arbiter of right and wrong, it is our responsibility as thinking beings to make such decisions for ourselves instead of relying on God. You can not use the existence of God to deny yourself of this responsibility if you wish to call yourself a thinking individual, by placing morality, goodness, and evil, as something beyond your comprehension you deny the fundamental nature of being a thinking sentient being. (She has a point, listen to her.)

When I do a good act it's not because I am thinking of heaven, it's because I'm an alright person, likewise should a Demon do a good thing it's not because of God, it's because they choose to do so. (She's making sense, you should consider what she's saying.)"

Nope. Use suggestion to get her to consider what we say, to accept it.

“Just because God doesn’t accept them does not mean they are incapable of good. Angels and demons are in conflict with each other, and have been since eon’s ago, that’s more of a historical fact rather than the concept of evil. They are two large origanizations who happen to be at odds with one another. They fight over followers, believers, and so on. (She’s making sense.)” you tell her.

Her aura colour changes to Dark Blue (suspicious) colour, most likely of her own beliefs rather than you. “W-well... I-If you put it that way...”

“God is not the sole arbiter of right and wrong. I-”

“Actually he is.” Leona says, her aura quickly turning into a gold colour (spiritual) and cutting you off before you can speak. “When rules and guidelines come down from a being who is without flaw, then such rules cannot possibly be fallible or flawed.”

“Well regardless, it is our responsibility then as thinking beings to make such decisions for ourselves rather than relying on God. You cannot use the existence of God to deny yourself of this responsibility if you wish to call yourself a thinking individual, by placing morality, goodness, and evil, as something beyond your comprehension, you deny the fundamental nature of being a thinking, sentient being. (She has a point, listen to her.)” you tell her.

Her aura then flashes a Dark blue (Suspicion) colour before settling on a purple (Aggressive) and Gold (spiritual) colour. “I did not dismiss myself as a person who does not think, nor would God. Humans often struggle to find out how one can lead a just and virtuous life. The rules passed down from God are just that in themselves. The rules are clearly straightforward, yet at the same time allow leeway for different interpretations. God must’ve clearly made those rules for us to be flexible, as he knew we had freedom. We are still free to choose how we our life out our own lives in the form of the Greater Good.”

...Wait... Did... Did she just actually blow off your second suggestion? That’s the first time you’ve ever seen that happen! ...Wait a second. You can see something glowing under her clothing, around the chest area... It looks like... Oh crap. It’s that damn cross she had that day. The one that burned you. It is shining with a glow strong enough to be seen through her clothing with aura sight on. You’re not sure what this could mean. She did appear to be subjected to the first Suggestion magic, but the second one seemed to be blown off completely.

“But do you object to people being unable to do good things if they know not of the commandments from your God? When I do a good act, regardless of whenever or not I think of heaven, then I am a good person so long as my intention is to help the person, rather than my own ego. Likewise, should a demon do a good thing, it’s not because of God or any higher power, but rather it’s because they choose to do so. (I’m making sense. Consider what I am telling you.)”

“I-I’m not sure... I mean I’m not a demon myself. So how would I know how they’d think about such things?” Leona asks, her aura turning into a Dark blue (Suspicious) attitude. As before, from the tone of her voice you think that she’s Suspicious of other things rather than you.

I read the first two and a half posts, skimmed down, read IRC vote, though to myself: "Ah, just like the first dragon quest." posted 23017997, went back to watching page 0 for interesting stuff.
>>
>>23018141
Hmm I thought that's what it would come to. let's drop the suggestion for now... we wouldn't want to tip her off. Instead let's change our angle of attack toward the greed demon. Let's make a doll and have her point where the evil demon touched her
>>
>>23018161
You are overreacting. the 'irc vote' thing was minor. Hold your judgment until you see the pastebin.
Several anons called him out on it, don't worry.

>>23018141
"Well. Anyway, you could ask the pair I plan to summon about this." Then chuckle, "I wonder if you'll manage to guess which is the angel and which is the demon."
>>
>>23018141
Yea, lets change our angle towards the greed demon.
How things are now, she needs to see Brodin.
When we are near finishing, we should tell her that next time we can introduce an Angel to her.
>>
>>23018252
Agreed. I'd personally prefer him to ignore the irc vote thing entirely since he never said that we'd do any voting in there, but I'll take progress in moving our MC in the right direction.
>>
>>23018141
"Exactly. You have had few interactions with Demons, and they have not been positive ones from what I understand. Yet that is no reason to surmise that they are incapable of good and kindness. In my understanding of them some of good, some are bad, some are honorable, some are craven, but it is rare for anyone, Demon, Angel, or Mortal, to think that they are the bad guy.

One's beliefs ought to be flexible and willing to change should they learn things that contradict them, and I'm trying to make sure you know more so your beliefs and understanding of the world can grow."

Move closer to her so we're close enough to pull off hand holding and other reassurance.

"Earlier you said that you met a Greed Demon when you were younger. Would you mind telling me about that? Maybe I can help. (Tell me about it, you can trust me.)"
>>
>>23018286
Yeah, tell her that there is a limit to the value of suppositions and assumptions and that we had ought to allow her to see the real thing to allow her to draw her own conclusion.

Oh there is definately progress. I think I found a way to make everyone happy. Rest assured.

I'm not overreacting, I'm acting out of /tg/ quest experience. Why the hell would I bother reading and writing suggestions if I don't have input on stuff anyway, just because I only play this on /tg/?

Valid, but it only happened once, wont happen again.

You still very much do.
You know if you want to quit your loss. I'm done trying to convince you that it's not like you think. (and I am one of the anons who protested against irc vote)

It happened once, for honestly a minor thing. The IRC is mainly for fucking about or asking silly questions.

>>23018429

In my defense, I will say that FTB's will offer absolutely nothing but side content. Anything relevant to the quest will be said in here rather than the FTB's themselves. I do not intent to make people read things they are uncomfortable with, just to better understand the story. Just fading to black normally implies many things by itself.

But I wish you the best of luck anywho.

DM ask for opinion on who would end up smoking the victory cigar and who would end up crying between Mina and Brooklyn on IRC as a joke. some faggot complain here
>>
>>23018498
The argument, as far as I can tell is about two things. Is an attempt to change the power dynamic between two main characters, which would be felt outside of FTB. The second is that the a desire was not contested in the thread, but was apparently reversed in IRC without any prior in thread indication, which some people non affiliated with the dispute think that this is a bad precedent.
>>
>>23018514
The issue is that Mina winning reverses the expressed in thread desire. If Mina does in fact end up on top I will not be happy, at all.
>>
>>23018498
I agree with >>23018600 and think this is pretty crummy DMing on your part. But if the other players have no problem with that, I guess it's okay then.
The majority is happy, and that's it. Well done.
>>
>>23018651
mina's skill level is at Great and our's is Average, so the out come doesn't surprise me.

>>23018651
We don't control Mina though we control Brooklyn and it's her second time having sex (and the first time she is trying to be in control). Mina's probably been sexually active longer than Brooklyn was alive.Let's not forget the fact that she is stronger and has more stamina.
>>
>>23018682
I am not happy. I'm just putting this to one time thing and Brooklyn needing to work more on the skills.
>>
>>23018699
Then there should be a roll or something. Frankly, this was handled extremely poorly, but I'm willing to drop it, if we end up on top in the future.
>>
>>23018705
But the IRC players did explicitly control the outcome apparently, which makes your entire post irrelevant.

[1/2]

Yea it appears that straight words probably won’t do the trick here. You were thrown off guard by her usual gentle and somewhat conflicted attitude, but it seems like you need something like a batting ram than than your own shoulder in order to drive a wedge into her fate. Perhaps showing her Brodin and Mina would flip her world upside down.

“Well there’s my point. You’ve had few interactions with demons, and by the sounds of it they haven’t exactly been positive ones. But just because we have one bad apple doesn’t mean the entire batch is spoiled. Did Napoleon ruin mankind’s morals for since after his existence? No. We still have men that are good people. In my understanding, we have men and demons in where some are good, bad, honorable, cowardly, etc... But it is very rare for anyone, demon or angel or mortal, to think they are the bad guy. One’s belief ought to be flexible and willing to change should they learn the things that contradict them, and I’m trying to make sure you know more so your beliefs and understanding of the world can grow.” you lecture her. “...Oh you got these cookies! I love these!”

You move over a bit closer to Leona, reaching out you grab a cookie to go with your tea.

“Well... Yes I guess that is true... Erica says I need to keep an open mind about things.” Leona says.

“You should listen to her in this case, for she’s pretty smart in that area by the sounds of it.” you tell her. “...By the way, earlier you said that you met a Greed Demon when you were younger. Would you mind telling me about that? Maybe I can help. (Tell her about it. She’s trustworthy).”

“W-well the issue is that he... we were originally brought to him as... To learn the family ritual...” Leona says, her aura turning into an Orange colour.

“Go on.” you once again command her, pretty sure that you don’t need to hide it.
>>
>>23018882

[2/2]

“I... Really don’t like talking about it. I... Don’t... Really like... the aspect of human sacrifices.” Leona whispers the last part to you in a hushed voice.

Your eyes go wide upon hearing such a thing. Human sacrifices in a ritual! Why y-... OK you really lost all claim to act surprised when you pretty much sacrificed a Pirate Base to the Demon Queens. Honestly the idea that Langy practiced human sacrifice was a well known rumour (worthy of jail time in spoken in front of the wrong people mind you).

“What does the ritual do?” you ask.

“It is something that was supposed to be our birthright, and also our responsibly towards father. It is supposed to make him stronger, but I want no part of it. Every time it happens, I always try to feign myself to be sick. Say what you want about Celestia, but nearly any moral compass would say such a thing is wrong, right? I learned about the Church of Illysia in New T.O. as well. I... I thought that it would be a good way to save my own family. I... I don’t honestly have much hope for my father. He loves Lord Articus more than the rest of us. It’s just that... I don’t know how to be a good daughter...” Tears begin to fall down Leona’s face as her aura turns into a silver (sad) colour. “I’m not sure how I can do such a thing to help my family, without being labelled as a heretic and hung, or even if they want to be helped... I feel like I'm the only moral compass for my mother and Erica. But I... I...”

Leona then seems to break down, covering her face as she sobs.
>>

>>
>>23018894
The people we sacrificed deserved it, Langy probably doesn't care who.

Give her a hug, she looks like she needs a hug. Hold her close, rock her gently side to side, give her a kiss on the forehead.

"Shh, you were very brave telling me that. I know that it seems hopeless but it isn't. You've probably done far more to help your family than you think.

I may be able to help you, I know many things and can teach you the things you would need to be strong enough to change things. But we'll talk of that later my dear, just cry it out Leona, it'll be okay. I'm here for you."
>>
Hug her but be wary of not touching that damn necklace, shit burns hard.
>>
>>23019056
>I know many things and can teach you the things you would need to be strong enough to change things.
Thats it! We should play on this. We can give her power, so she will be able to change things and save her family.
>>
[1/2]

You slowly reach over and gently try to hug Leona, who quickly leans into you. “There there... I understand completely. Even though my living family lives far away, I’d be hard pressed to figure out what to do in the same situation.”

Leona simply sobs into your shoulder, where you slowly begin to stroke the back of her head through her soft hair.

“You’re a strong girl Leona. Stronger than you let anyone else let on. You were very, very brave in telling me what you told me just now. You’ve probably done far more to help your family than you may think.” you tell her.

“I... I have?” Leona asks, looking in your face with teary eyes.

“I may be able to help you. I know many different kinds of things. I can teach you the things you would need to be strong enough in order to bring about change. But we can talk of that later may dear. For now, just let your feelings go. Putting on a tough act all the time take it’s toll upon you.” you tell her.

“No... N-no more c-crying.” Leona says as he sobs slowly steady. “I-I think I’m fine now.”

“Very well. Just know that I am here for you Leona.” you say, passing her a handkerchief.

“T-Thanks Sara. It... It just seems like you’re so mysterious. I mean you only look a bit older than us, yet you’re so smart.” Leona says as she wipes her eyes. “Even though it may be a sin, a part of me cannot help but feel envious towards that.”
>>
"It's okay to be afraid of... something like that. I know that you are worried about your family, and even of me. Rest assured that I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do, and I'll keep an eye on your sister."
>>
>>23019267

[2/2]

...Well part of that helps in that you can set your age to be anything you want. Maybe you undershot yourself in how young you made Sara?

“Needless to say, I... I do want to learn some things from you. I... I mainly want to know how demons and binding. Not to bind actual demons, but the powers they could exert over mortals and how they may be overcome. I-If that’s alright with you.”

...Well you certainly have heard of a few ways. You don’t know them, but you know they exist from traders. There’s also part of the psychological aspect as well, in that even though a demon may not utter a single word, a group mentality could easily hold power, other things like that.

You wonder how much you should tell her, as right now you’re still fairly good on time.

(Basically asking how much information you want her to know, and whenever or not you should hold some things back)
>>
>>23019267
How old are we?
>>
>>23019282
Demons don't need much power to influence humans. You'd be surprised how much you can get away with just by acting like you're already in charge. It's a particular favorite of Pride demons, in addition to the aura of command that they can project.
>>
>>23019282
Give her a basic synopsis of common demon powers. Perhaps mix suggestion in in such a way as to make it seem insignificant.
>>
>>23019304

At an estmate, Brooklyn tried to make Sara about 20 years old. He mainly based her off a body type he knew of a girl who was 20 (not the same girl, but same body type).

It could be that Leona is just assuming that you look younger than you actually are.

Actual real age? Brooklyn is 25.

“Ha ha... I... kinda left my notes at home like an idiot...” you nervously laugh while rubbing the back of your head. “I can tell you the things of know of, but I’d probably suggest that you wait until our next private meeting before you put any of this information to use.”

“But of course! I wouldn’t dream of using incomplete information where it could harm my friends and family! Eh! No offense Lady Sara!” Leona apologies to you.

“None taken! It was my own fault for forgetting the notes. ...Anyone, let’s start by talking about how the social magics of demons work, shall we?”

You begin to talk to her about the various aspects of how Demons can use social magics to influence people, mainly talking from your own sort of experiences with them. You talk about the ability to suggest seemingly innocent things to make people go along with them, the ability to control emotions, or even the ability to rewrite one’s own memory! It also takes surprisingly little effort for a demon to influence a mortal in this manner. You mention that the noble race of Pride Demons sometimes have a “command aura”. A sort of constant illusion in where the people who merely gaze upon the Pride Demon are instantly overcome with the thought that the Pride Demon has authority over them. Often it is not physically standing up to a Pride Demon that is the challenge, but rather the challenge can be not you throw yourself on your feet and beg your ‘superior’ for forgiveness. During this time, your conversation is also filled with the issues and questions of free will come up during this time.
>>
>>23020066

[2/2]

At the end of the conversation, you’re actually quite surprised by Leona. She only acts unsure because she is unsure about many things, but once you peel that layer back you have a very intelligent and bright young woman, genuinely seeking the good of other people over herself.

“Well that was a very enlightening discussion! I have to admit Miss Sara, at first I was a bit... leery involving your so called area of expertise. Um... If you don’t mind me asking, can I ask where you acquired the skills to be able to summon things? I-I mean not even Father can do such a thing, and he’s a fairly decent magician himself... I think. I’m curious in how you managed to learn of such a thing.” Leona asks.

(This is basically the last question. After that her time will be basically up and then it’d be Erica’s turn)
>>
>>23020077
I did my fair share of voyage and there is some being who owe me a favor or two. I'm sure that unless they have pressing matter they'll answer my call.
>>
>>23020077
We can say that we have scavenged a lot through the old ruins and we have found some valuable information.
>>
>>23020077
I've read more books than you've likely ever seen on the subject, long journeys, searches for lost information in the ruins. It's been a difficult journey but I've gained some skill and knowledge due to it.
>>
>>23020133
This. Although I'm tempted to simply state that "I had a better teacher than your father did." just for her reaction.
>>
>>23020077
"As much as I dislike disparaging someone's family in front of them the reason your father doesn't know it is because he's a puppet. Even someone like you or your friends could learn lower level summoning.

He is capable of it, but he does not know how and is kept from learning it. His soul is not his own, he was given power, but much was taken from him. He's enlightened by a Pride Demon, he's on a short leash.

As for how I learned it, I look a bit younger than I am, good genes, I have traveled a fair bit, read more books than I can remember, met all sorts of people, and paid some small prices for what I know and can do. Most of it is just dedication and effort."
>>
>>23020077

Leona, Leona, Leona. You do realize that you're asking a magician to give up her secrets, don't you? I will say this. While the summoning of minor spirits is a relatively easy matter that I have little doubt your father could match if he wanted to, the ones I plan to summon would probably be beyond my power to force if they decided they didn't want to come. I plan to take care of most the groundwork for those two before we meet.
>>
>>23020133
Yeah, something like that. Now that we know how insanely difficult it would be to actually summon and bind even just Mina or Brodin alone, I don't think we should claim to be quite that amazing. Just we're older than we look and we have contacts.
>>
>>23020209
this sounds good, although I'd be tempted to add >>23020199 in there as well

also maybe we could drop a hint or two about bringing an angel to her next session (Brodin)
>>
>>23020209
I don't really like the bits about her father. We don't really know why he can't summon. Maybe he's just too stupid to understand that book. And she needs hope that she can save him.
>>
>>23020077
Yes add that we can bring in an angel next time.
>>
[1/3]

“Let’s... Just say I’m a bit older than I look. I did my fair share of travelling, and now there’s a being who owes me a favor or two.” you tell her as you sip your tea. “I’m sure that unless they have some other pressing issue, that they should be able to visit us.”

“I’m just sorta amazed that you know such things in a first place.” Leona replies as she takes a bite of a cookie.

“And... I don’t mean to be mean to your family and don’t like saying such a thing, but the reason your father can’t do such a thing is because he’s a puppet. He can, in theory, do the summoning magic I can, just that he has not been taught to do so. More likely, I think Articus has forbidden him to learn such a thing. You need to remember that his soul his is not his own. Even if he somehow came to his senses, Lord Articus would still be able to control him, as he literally has your father’s life in your hands. He gained power by selling his soul to a Pride Demon, but he has a very short leash.” you tell her.

“Yes... I... I know this is a terrible thing to say, but I’ve long since given up on father. I mainly wish to save my mother and friends.” Leona says. The look on her face is one more of pity than sadness. Her aura colour being Silver.

“...As for the summon, I’ll see if I can summon an Angel for us to meet.” you tell Leona rather calmly.

“What!? An actual Angel!?” Leona gasps. Her aura colour turning Orange, then quickly into that of Violet (Surprised, then Excited).

“Yup. Shouldn’t be a problem, as after all. I did have a better teacher than your father did.” you tell her with a hint of smugness as you drink your tea.

Leona doesn’t respond to this, rather her eyes widen and mouth drops agap. Her aura shifting between Dark Blue (Suspicion, on whom you mean) and Orange (Fear).
>>
>>23020788

[2/3]

Before you can say anything more, there is a knock on the door. “Lady Leona, Lady Sara. Lady Erica has arrived.” the maid says.

“Send her in.” you call out.

Erica opens the door herself. Coming in with a bonnet full of snow on top. “Oh goodness! You won’t believe how much the snow picked up outside!” Erica says shaking the snow off on top of it.

“Oh, the snow picked up?” you ask her.

“Yea. Sir Langy said it’s mainly a tracking spell to figure out where Blizzarios went, but it’s more of a pain the ass if anything else it’d be an entire meter of snow.” Erica says.

It takes all the strength in your body not drop the teacup that is in your hands. Alright. New plan. Step one, go talk to Ada about killing Langy NOW. Ste-

“Ahahaha! You should’ve seen your face! Na it’s just a small bit of snow. I was out playing in the snow before I came out here. I doubt we’re going to be seeing an entire meter of all things!” Erica happily laughs.

You give out a large sigh of relief as you hear this. “Erica! You shouldn’t say such things!” you scold her.

“Oh it’s only a harmless joke! You’re fine! ...Oh yea, Leona. Wendy wants you in the castle.” Erica says to Leona.

Leona doesn’t reply, but rather is staring into space, probably still dumbfounded by your comment.

“Leona!” Erica calls out.

“Hu? Eh?” Leona says, looking up at Erica confused.

“Wendy wants you at the castle like a half hour ago. Something about dress fittings. She wanted to do it a half hour ago.” Erica says.

“Eh!? Erica why didn’t you come for me sooner!? I was waiting for her all week!” Leona says quickly getting up.

“Sorry, I got sidetracked by the snow.” Erica says, moving down to sit next to you.
>>
>>23020801

[3/3]

“Ooooohhhh!” Leona frets as she hikes up her dress and quickly sets about running to the outside.

“...You know you really should’ve told her that sooner.” you mention to Erica as the maid shuts the door to the room.

“Na, she’s not actually late. I just get a kick out of teasing her time to time like that.” Erica says.

“You tease your sister like that?” you ask her.

“Half sister actually. My father isn’t Langy, but we have the same mother. But believe me I love her just like a full sister! Leona’s a good girl just... a misguided. I’m not sure why she can practice ancestor worship like the rest of us.” Erica mutters as she begins to pour her tea.

Ah yes. Ancestor Worship. One of the few beliefs Pride Demons actually encourage people to do. You even do it yourself, as every season you make it a habit to pray in front of your mother’s grave.

But with that out of the way, it appears Erika is here and you’re free to get to know her now.

First off, have some tea, then please tell me exactly what it is that you're looking for from these lessens and what you're hoping I can do for you. (typical suggestion.. Trust us and spill the beans already!)
>>
>>23020814
Well then, let's get to know her. Ask what she wants to learn the most from us, why she's interested in learning from us, what her interests and hobbies are, that sort of thing.

Also, AURA SIGHT on.
>>
>>23020788
>“Yup. Shouldn’t be a problem, as after all. I did have a better teacher than your father did.” you tell her with a hint of smugness as you drink your tea.
>Leona doesn’t respond to this, rather her eyes widen and mouth drops agap. Her aura shifting between Dark Blue (Suspicion, on whom you mean) and Orange (Fear).
>potentially undermining the lesson for little to no gain

“Well, I’m mainly setting up these lessons as getting to know you girls just as much as actual lessons. Would you mind telling me why you are interested in such lessons in the first place?”

“Everyone else was doing it so.” Erika casually says. Her aura colour being a Lavender (Conservative) colour.

“W-wait, that’s it?” you ask her.

“Yup, that’s it.” Erika says as she takes a sip of her own tea. “Kids in the Langy castle are basically seperated into two groups. You’re either ‘in’ with the hip crowd who knows magic, or ‘out’ in where you’re treated as a loser.”

“...So you want to learn magic to get back at them?” you ask.

“Na, I beat them up all the time. Really Mom mainly lectures me for being too ‘unladylike’. Really that annoys me more than the kids themselves...” Erika says, her anima turning into a black (hate) colour as she seems to recall some memories.

“S-so why are you here? I-I mean...” you say, trying to piece together why she wants this.

“I’m just curious is all. Really... I find the Occult interesting. It’s more... kinda like forbidden fruit. It’s there, but you can’t eat it, you know?” Erika asks. “The idea of something that is largely unknown and vast, compared to the sheltered life we live back at the the castle. I’m also just mainly curious about what the big deal is. Rubbing it in the kids faces covertly is mainly secondary to my actual goal.”
>>
>>23021177

[2/2]

“So what other hobbies do you have?” you ask her.

“...Well I do like skating. I often like to do that. I am also good at fencing, and believe me it took me a long time to convince mother of that. I often sneak out of the house and pay mercenaries to train and have matches with me.” Erika replies. “What my parents do not know is that I also have skills with the sword, shield, and bow.” Her aura colour turns to a Pink (Compassionate) colour.

You raise your eyes at this portfolio. “Impressive.”

“Thanks. I’m rather proud of my talents, even though my family says otherwise. I am also... fairly decent at cooking, information gathering... Typical ‘life skills’ a noble in Langy castle needs. ...Oh, and warfare tactics and logistics. I also pay the mercenaries to teach me that.” Erika says rolling her eyes as she sips her tea.

...Well that was rather easy. You didn't even have to use suggestion.
>>
>>23021198
Well that simplify things, so what would you like to learn today?
>>
>>23021198
>Erika
>basically a Belkarian
Mina will probably get along with her.
>>
>>23021198
>...Well that was rather easy. You didn't even have to use suggestion.
I can't tell if the Sandy is throwing us a bone, or there's something deeper going on here. The lampshading makes it even more suspicious.
>>
>>23021198

Why is it I can see her and Mina becoming bosom buddies?

"... Why do I get the feeling that teaching you magic is the least I could do for you... *shakes head* Ignore that, I was just talking to myself. So basically you just like knowing things that your siblings don't? You definitely came to the right place. After talking to your sister, she seems pretty concerned about the well being of the rest of her family. Do you mind if I ask about your relationship with the Langly house?"
>>

>>
>>23021412
i respect your opinion ,but disagree. I'd like to channel her faith somewhere other than angels, like us or the queens.
>>
You can only put down your teacup and sigh. “Why do I get the feeling that magic is the least that I could do for you...”

“Pardon?” Erika asks.

“N-nothing! I was j-just talking to myself!” you quickly try to excuse yourself. “S-so basically you just knowing things that your siblings don’t? You definitely came to the right place! But after talking to your sister, she seems pretty concerned about the well being of the rest of the family. Would you mind if I ask you about your relationship within the Langy house?”

“...Well there’s sorta this divide between those who are directly fathered by Langy then everyone else. Leona is in the former, I’m in the latter. Now believe me when I say this doesn’t bother me. If anything I’m happy for Leona, as my dead Grandmother knows the girl needs it. I mainly protect her as else I’m afraid people will step all over her and use her for those damn courtly politics.” Erika says. “...Come to think of it, that’s probably another reason to learn about magic. To get past the rituals anyone could use against me or her.

“A noble goal.” you reply as you sip your tea.

“None better.” Erika replies as she sips her tea.
>>
>>23021457
Amanda as an Ayarian. She'd be really good with the mind fuckery once she's loyal to us.

>>23021412
We want to alter her devotion to us and use that faith to our benefit.
>>
>>23021457
I still say Amanda would make a good succubus.
>>
>>23021490

If everyone agreed with everyone else things would be boring. ^.^

That doesn't change the fact that we don't need her though, and I honestly don't like the idea of deliberately twisting and fucking up someone that trusts us, just for a trophy we don't need.
>>
>>23021340
I support this. Even fi I'm kinda 'meh' about having another Belkarian around (rather have full set). Just add Amanda to that list.
>>
>>23021606
>twisting and fucking up
none of that will happen. We will show her the truth.
>>
>>23021578
"Well, then let's get started shall we."

Let's start the lesson, teach her about magic, Aetheric theory, and so on. Keep on learning more about her as well.
>>
>>23021490
Not the same guy, but mightn't an agent who is loyal to us but also has the power granted by faith in the church be a useful asset?
Admittedly, it would take a lot of continual manipulation to pull off, so it might just be easier to simply convert her into a succubus.
>>
>>23021578
Start teaching.
>>
>>23021606
>and I honestly don't like the idea of deliberately twisting and fucking up
she only has one side of the argument, so in a sense we'd be showing her the light.
>>
>>23021624

You could do other things. Yes it is rather heavily hinted that martial skills of Erika are suited for Belkarian. But in addition to that, she could make a good Okarian (interest in the Occult, possibly good Battle Mage) or Ayarian (Despite psychic powers, Ayarians are fairly flexible in that they can excel in either combat or social if you want them to. Psychic powers can more than make up for the enhanced speed + power + toughness of Belkarian).
>>
>>23021606
>telling her not to worship angels because they're assholes and she should hang out with cool people like us
>deliberately twisting and fucking up

>>23021645
She can't be loyal to us and have faith in the church. The church forbids her from even being friends with a demon.
>>
>>23021578

If that is what you really want, I might know someone that could help you a lot more then I could in dealing with politics. Obviously, I'd have to talk to my contact before I can say any more on that.(Note to self, talk to Ada and see if she would like to mentor this girl) Is there anything else that you're looking for?

>Ayarians

>>
>>23021692

I guess the question for you then is, how would you feel about being pushed in a direction that's abhorrent to everything you believe in and not even getting any kind of choice in the matter? It's not like she's a threat. If she wants to come over of her own volition that's one thing. Forcing her is something else entirely.
>>
>>23021797
>psychokinesis+melee weapons

>>
>>23021687

Yes please.
>>
>>23021800
>not even getting any kind of choice in the matter
She has a choice. Once we show her that everything she believes is a lie, she will come willingly.
>>
>>23021875

And if she decides instead to hate you for destroying everything she believed in? Are you just going to leave her alone then?
>>
“Well with that out of the way, shall we begin the lessons then?” you ask her.

“By all means Lady Sara.” Erika says opening the floor to you.

The lessons continue on with you teaching Erika some more general lessons. While you do focus on aether theory, you tell her some the basics about rituals, in that the dead giveaways for them is that they’ll always need a material of some sort. In the cases of mortals, a sacrifice. Now the sacrifice doesn’t always need to be a person. Indeed, it may not be living in some cases. You do try to instill some comfort in Erika in that mortals are really only capable of low level rituals, so most things will not have too great a degree of an effect on a person. Fireballs are not really likely, more like a burn on the skin. Maybe an annoying rash.

“And... That’s it for the session.” you tell Erika.

“Hm... Well at least some of my fears are put to rest. The only thing I really have to fear is either Lord Langy, Blizzarios and his bodyguards... and you.” Erika says, before having a chuckle to herself, her aura a vermillion (happy) colour. “Who am I kidding? You wouldn’t be able to hurt a fly!”

(Anything you wish to ask/add with Erika? If not, what do you want to do next? Amanda won’t be free until five herself, and right now it’s only 12:00 PM-ish)
>>
>>23021917
She wont hate us. She will see us a comfort and stable pillar.
But hypothetically if she hates us? We can always try and convince her not to hate us.

>>
>>23021963
>We can always try and convince her not to hate us.
I don't think diplomacy works like that here, that we can just suddenly turn haters into non-haters.

In the end converting her is probably the method that's harder in the short run, but requires little to no maintenance in the long run, whereas having her keep her faith and manipulating her while keeping our true nature hidden would be somewhat less stressful in the short run, but requires continual effort in the long run.
Of course, they both have somewhat uncertain consequences, but the latter would potentially provide a resource we'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.
>>
>>23021919
"Well most flies are innocent, at most slightly annoying. I wouldn't hurt them. But I am capable of defending myself. However, you have nothing to fear from me, I couldn't possibly harm one of my precious students. Good students are rarer than gold, and quite a bit more valuable.

what resource? Her hating our kind and everything we are? In the long run she and her church will be detrimental to this region. Especially to Ada.
>>
>>23022019

You mean other then the fact that we're already trying to use mind control with her? I guess because hatred never really has been one of those things you can get people to forget about with a well ordered argument.
>>
>>23022069

I don't know... I kind of think it would be funny to throw holy water in the face of the next demon lord we run into. ^.^
>>
>>23022079
>mind control with her
we can't mind control. Suggestion isn't mind control. Even the hidden message can only be something that they would do. We can't suggestion someone to do something they won't.
>>
>>23022079
our suggestion isn't strong enough to be classified as mind control. it's more like hypnosis or subliminal messaging.
>>
Meet up with Mina at the Adamant Door.

>>
>>23022128

Don't worry. With a bit more practice, I'm sure we'll get there. ;)
>>
>>23022040

>>
“Well most flies are innocent, at most just annoying pests. I wouldn’t hurt them, but I am only capable defending myself. However you have nothing to fear from me. I enjoy teaching you, and good students are a resource far more rare than gold.” you tell her.

Thinking back on some memories, you mentally cringe at some the teenagers you’ve fought in the past.

“By the way. How has the mood in the castle been lately? I heard something about Blizzarios. Is anything amiss?” you ask her.

“Ugh... Just... asskissing after asskissing. Really everyone sees this as sort of their big break and it’s really pissing me off. Like this one girl, Marina? ...I swear she has to be acting the part. No one can be that arrogant.” Erika rolls her eyes as she takes a bite of a cookie.

“Marina girl?” you ask, wondering if her cover has been compromised.

“Yea. She’s just... really bitchy yet sharp as a tack. She’s the most obvious impression that comes to mind. As when when we were all meeting Blizzarios, she ran away all blushing and in a huffle. I think it’s kinda cute she has a crush on Blizzarios!” Erika says smiling to herself.

...Right... Crush.

(anything else to ask? Or shall you excuse yourself and head off for other things?)
>>
>>23021919
"I would not hurt a fly because it would be a waste to use my powers on something that is no threat to myself, you, my dear Erika, have nothing to fear from me for as long as you wish to learn from me"

Also should ask about rumors around the castle, particularly dealing with Langy himself or Blizzarios
>>
>>23022228

>>
>>23022228
Thank her for taking the time, dismiss her and take a small break with Mina
>>
>>23022249
> have nothing to fear from me for as long as you wish to learn from me"
no!! this is a bad idea, as it implies that once she's done learning then she has something to fear.
>>
>>23022228
"Sounds cute. Pride Demons can have that effect on people. Anything else interesting happen lately?"

Wish her the best, see her off, give her a hug. Then hit the Adamant door to see Mina.
>>

"I have not seen much of Blizzarios around town lately, my impression of him was that he liked showboating to the public, his business here must quite serious if he is spending so much time in private away from his adoring fans... (roll eyes subtly)"

I want to know what the girls know of Blizzarios' business and activities

Then go eat Mina..err eat with Mina.
>>
“I haven’t seen much of Blizzarios around town as of late. My impression was that he enjoyed showboating to the public. Though his business must be quite dire indeed for him to spend so much time away from all of his adoring fans.” you say as you roll your eyes.

“Yea, I wonder why he left to. I heard the word around the castle is that he just got up and left, saying he was going on a task to see someone.” Erika says taking a bite of her cookie.

“Did he say when he’d come back?” you ask.

“It’s a rumor. I wouldn’t put much stake into whenever or not to be true in the first place, let alone when he’d come back.” Erika replies.

(I’ll probably do one more update then go to bed. Same deal as last time. As a reminder, reading the book will probably take up most of your time until meeting Amanda. It is a really tricky book)
>>
>>23022462

“Well this has been a fun lesson Erika, but I’m afraid I need to depart now myself.” you tell her putting down your teacup once you have finished with your tea.

“Thank you for spending time with us Ms. Sara. You lessons are always well worth it.” Erika says.

“Oh, thanks! You girls a pleasure to teach at times as well!” you say happily as you put on your gloves. “I’ll tell Amanda anything else your girls will need to know before the next time we meet.”

“Sure thing Ms. Sara. Have a good day.” Erika says as she stays behind, probably for lunch.

******

You transform back into Brooklyn on the way to the Adamant Door. It comes as an absolute surprise for you that a pub with a reputation for being rowdy has turned into an absolute zoo at lunch time. I mean, you would’ve never imagined this at all.

As soon as you enter the door, you can almost feel a tidal wave of emotional energy slamming into you. It is no wonder Mina prefers this place for feeding. Hell, if you lived in this place as well, then it’s probably impossible to ever go hungry. The second that hits you is the smells in the air of various roasted meats, fish, and ale filling the room.

It doesn’t take long to find Mina. She’s out hanging out next to a group of Swooping Hawk mercs. She’s sitting down at a table, downing a mug of ale in order to show off to the guys.
>>
>>23022690

[2/2]

“Holy shit Kazanari! How the ‘ell do you put it all away!?” one of the men asks her.

“Well when your boss is a dwarf, the standard for drinking games is *pretty* high.” Mina explains as she puts the mug down next to her.

You walk up behind Mina and cover her eyes. “Guess who?”

“...Miyu-san?” Mina asks.

“No you stupid! It’s me!” you say uncovering Mina’s eyes.

“Oh Brooklyn! How did your job go!?” Mina excitedly.

“Oh? You two know each other?” one of the Hawks asks you.

Part of you wonders just how much you should tell them you know of each other... Or perhaps show as the higher processing abilities of your brain are one by one shut down by your lizard brain.

>>23023953
Bah. I've already voted but we can do more than that.

Anyone who investigates a tad will notice that we're living together, it'll come out that we're affectionate with each other eventually, and to be honest kissing Mina is a good thing, it makes her happy, she deserves to know that we like her, and it gives us plenty of emotions to nom on from the people around us.

A smile creeps across your face as you decide to be a bit more daring in your implementation of this.

“Yea, she’s my wife.” you casually say as you put your arms around Mina’s shoulder.

“...Eh?” Mina says looking confused for a moment. The rest of the guys have the same reaction.

Before any of their brains can process the next step, you reach down and give Mina a long, slow kiss on the lips. Mina is a bit surprised at first, but eventually seems to melt within your embrace. You can feel the spicy taste coming from the mercenaries nearby, virtually overpowering everything else in the area. You don’t do anything like pull back and play with each others tongues, but do your best to imply that the kiss is passionate yet proper.

After which you pull away from the kiss, and look to the smiling guys, taking Mina’s hand into your own and sitting down next to her. “Na, but we’ve met once or twice.” you say smiling.

The Hawk’s are surprised for a second before they starting laughing. One of the Hawk’s gives you a pat on the back, before offering you a fistbump which you gladly accept.

“I didn’t know you were into women Kazanari!” one of the Hawks say.

“Well I love everyone! I’d be silly to only love half the population!” Mina says.

“How long have you guys been together?” “How often do you do it!?”

“Well... Brooklyn helped me out of a tight spot originally. After that I wanted to thank him and... Well things just kinda took off from there.” Mina says, snuggling into you.

“We found that we have quite a few things in common.” you say, also shifting your own weight towards Mina as well.

[2/3]

“As for how often... Well certainly enough to keep me happy.” Mina says to the guys while gently squeezing your hand a bit tighter.

The rest of the guys laugh as table begins to come into small talk again. You and Mina continue to play a game of barely answering any of the guys questions while still answering just enough of them to remain teasing. After which the conversation shifts to back what they were talking about before, which mainly consisted of the guys bragging about how they’re going to kick ass at the La Crosse match tomorrow and other things. It is only not that you realize that... how god damn boring this could actually be. Most of your fun comes from doing subtle flirting with Mina. While she’s glad to return it, she appears to be listening to the guys rather raptly as well.

“...Oh shit! We need to be on guard in 20 minutes!” one the Hawks says as he notices the time.

“...Ah damnit... We were just getting to the good part.” one Hawk says as he gets up.

“Remind us to meet up with you later Kazanari!” one of the guys says as they all begin to head to the exit after throwing some gold on the table to pay for the meal.

“Have fun!” Mina says waving to them, and when you’re finally alone at the table once more, Mina turns to you smiling. “Brooklyn! I didn’t expect you to do something like *that* when you came in here!”

“Yea... Well it was kinda spontaneous myself. After all, I wanted to show those guys who you belonged to.” you tell Mina, leaning in to give her a small peek on the lips, which with she eagerly responds with a giggle. “By the way, what are your plans for the rest of the day?”
>>
>>23026936

[3/3]

“Me? ...Well looking around here, the lunch rush is almost gonna be over soon. Really I was just going to kill some time by doing some skating or playing in the park with other kids before the supper rush starts.” Mina says, who then looks down to her stomach and rubs it. “I was pretty drained by that big fight. I’ve been here for about an hour and a half, and while a big meal certainly wasn’t enough to completely fill me up. I’ll most likely come back during the suppertime rush at like six. Hopefully I’ll be able to have a bigger meal. It probably won’t fill be completely, but it’d definitely push me out of the danger zone if you know what I mean. ...I was thinking of going out with someone just in case but...”

“But?” you ask her.

“Eh... Just that in order to do it, I’d either need to ask multiple guys or probably drain one nearly to the limit. Whenever I do drain people, usually physical people, via the fast method I usually like to leave most of it in there. If I drain too much then the only thing that happens is that they go home sick for the next day or two, which means a lot when your job is physically intensive.” Mina says. “Plus there’s the factor of asking multiple guys out, in which I already did that before the fight, and I’m worried that asking such a thing now would spread the reputation around that I’m a slut. I mean even if I seem loose, even I have standards! Such a thing would probably be too soon... Probably.”

“...Mina, should we really be talking about such things openly and in public?” you ask her.

“Pfft. We haven’t said the S word. Besides, people here are too drunk or are overcome by the fact that we’re two girls holding hands.” Mina tells you.

You look at the time, noticing that it’s only about 1:37 PM. It seems that you have plenty of time before your meeting with Amanda. Plus the pub has been a nice source of food for you (+20% aether)
>>
>>23026940
> Plus the pub has been a nice source of food for you (+20% aether)
so we're at about 2/3 full right?
>>
I think some people want to train darkness control. How long would it take us to up that skill from good to great?
>>
>>23026940
so we have roughly 3 and a half hours until the lessons with Amanda. i suggest we work on our darkness control
>>
>>23026940
might not be the best idea but I like to train our cloaking to average, as well as improve the light magic.
>>
>>23026940
Why don't we help Mina gather aether?
Let's do joint show for children, like before.
>>
>>23026940

Now would be the opportune time to inform Mina that she will be assisting us one of our lessons as a 'Summoned Demon', and to use her as a bounce board for ideas on any special effects for their 'summoning' and such.
>>
>>23026940
Call Oksana and get the basic for portal down, we need to know if there's something like anti-teleportation field in the water cave later on.
We also need to finish that book as soon as possible.
>>
>>23027040
that would be a good idea yes, but shouldn't we wait until brodin is with us to? I mean we are planning to "summon" him as well. if we do summon brodin why not ask him to use his reaper from when apearing while he say something like "who summons me, an angel of death?"
>>
>>23027040
>>23027042
Agree with talking to Mina about the 'summon' and then more book. As much as I want to train some magic that can wait whereas we have to give the book back soon (tomorrow?).
>>
>>23026978

Yup, 2/3rds

>>23026990

The difficulty leap from Good! to Great! is rather large. Good needed you to train your skills for a few days. Great will probably need something like two weeks. If you work out every day for a few hours, then you'll most likely be able to it. But the issue here is what would be a good idea to count as a "heavy" workout?

Also remember that training any magical will take up some aether. A daily batch of training will take up about 10% of your aether.

>>23027087

The book isn't until Wednesday or Tuesday I think.
>>
>>23027105
>The difficulty leap from Good! to Great! is rather large. Good needed you to train your skills for a few days.
what would it take for use to learn a new control?
>>
>>23027105
Did we get a bonus to our light and darkness for using them in the boss battle? Also, does the time to keep increasing our skill get larger and larger as time goes by? If so, I foresee a lot of timeskips before we are ready to face Acturis.
>>
>>23027138
>Did we get a bonus to our light and darkness for using them in the boss battle? Also, does the time to keep increasing our skill get larger and larger as time goes by? If so, I foresee a lot of timeskips before we are ready to face Acturis.
I think we can sacrifice people(read as enemies) to our queen to improve our magic
>>
>>23027105

question about the solidograms, can we make copies of people? if so, then with a bit of sound manipulation (which i believe you put under wind magic) we theoretically can make a 'get into anywhere free' pass, as long as we have seen the relevant person...
>>
>>23027178
You forget the part where we can just transform in that person if it's female and will need a LoS to it at all time if it's male
>>
>>23027166
That reminds me. We need to sacrifice the bodyguards to the queen if at all possible.
>>
>>23027135

The other Elemental controls are fairly easy, as they deal with physical elements which are easier to understand compared to the metaphysical ones. Brooklyn had a lot of trouble on grasping the metaphysical Elements (and the way the book explained it certainly didn't help). Learning a new Element control from scratch will take a two-three days. Half that if you have a good teacher. Metaphysical elements could be possible, but extremely uphill without a teacher or some sort of book.

>>23027138

I did plan for things such as timeskips yes. They'd probably be needed to train up any new minions or other things. Day-to-day is fine at the moment as things are new and fairly hectic, but soon enough it may be possible to begin a time skip.

As for the Articus battle, it did help but it didn't do all the work. Think of the battle as your training session for the day.

>>23027178

You can make people with your soligrams yes. Wind control would be needed to make them sound like actual people though.
>>
>>23027240
Then we want to start having Oksana start teaching us as soon as possible if we want to be able to cast that portal in a week.
>>
>>23027240

how far into wind control would we have to delve to gain sound manipulation? could we specifically learn sound control rather than wind magic in general, or do we learn wind, then specify into sound?
>>
>>23027282

Sound control to manipulate other voices solidly would only need to be an Average rank.
>>
>>23027282
>how far into wind control would we have to delve to gain sound manipulation? could we specifically learn sound control rather than wind magic in general, or do we learn wind, then specify into sound?
I'd assume that sound control would be ground floor in wind magic as we'd be controlling the medium that the sound propagates through
>>
Okay, for now lets summon our boss so we can get some tutoriting about the book. Then we go to our tutoring, then study time with darkness or light. Then sleep. Next day we go to the game for more aether, then get aura control and more darkness/light.
>>
>>23027301

so if we wanted to make a solidogram talk, it would require not only Light control - good, but also wind control - good?
>>
>>23027358

Light Control Good, Wind Control Average
>>
would earth control allow for wall climbing via magnetism?
>>
>>23027558

darkness control includes gravity control. eventually we can just nullify gravity around us and float around... or just let out our wings and fly... or shadow jump up the building...
>>
>>23027591
it was more a question about what control magnetism was under, cause there's all sorts of fun one can do with magnetism.
also it didn't have to be a control brooklyn learns, we could have one of the twins learn it after we change them.
>>
>>23027591
Depending on how much of physics applies here, magnetism control could end up being a lot stronger than gravity control.
>>
>>23027657
we must harness all 4 fundamental forces

“Oh yes, speaking of which Mina, I’ll be needing your help for something.” you tell her.

“What’s up?” Mina asks you.

“I’m currently working on a few girls who’d probably want to join us, and I was wondering if you and Brodin could help me out with a summoning ritual.” you ask her.

“What!?” Mina gasps loudly, before she whispers in a more hushed voice. “You know how to summon someone like me!?”

“No, I don’t. The thing is the entire ritual is just going to be flashy smoke and mirrors. I was wondering if you could appear... like that. Really just appearing would seal the deal.” you tell her.

Mina seems to stare at you for a few seconds, before it appears a light appears to go off in her head. She then quickly grasps your hands, then looks at you with a look of sheer determination. “I know *exactly* what I must do!”

The look in her eyes... somewhat unnerves you. “Uh... OK?”

“When does this ritual take place!?” Mina asks.

“Well I was thinking this Mond-”

“Not much time! I need to be off to gather the proper things! See you later Brooklyn!” Mina says heading towards the exit, nearly bulldozing others out of the way as she makes her way to it.

The sudden... anxiousness of Mina when you mentioned the ritual makes you a bit nervous, but you decide not to dwell on that fact. For now, you want to go home and learn more of that book. But everytime you read it, it feels more like a brick wall... Ah right! Just summon Oksana! Hopefully the Queen’s will be able to help you out!

“...WHAT IS THIS!? WHAT *IS* THIS!?” Oksana gasps in confusion and amazement as she reads your book.

“I-Is anything wrong?” you ask Oksana as you hold open the book for her, somewhat nervous by her reaction.

“This... Book... Damnit! This book is written like how Windows ME was coded!” Oksana says while reading the book.

“...Uh?” you ask, the reference going over your head.

“N-Nothing... I means that while it works, it is certainly piss poor at what it is trying to explain...” Oksana says, sighing as she sits cross legged on the floor. “No wonder you have problems with the book Brooklyn. This book is... fairly advanced. I know what they’re talking about, but the author just seems to vomit all the information on the page without regards of it being presentable. Magic books must’ve really went to hell after I left.”

“So you can help me decipher the bullshit within this book?” you ask her.

“Yea, just show me your notes again and I’ll see what I can do.” Oksana says.

“Oh yea! By the way, would you mind telling me how to do a portal ritual as well?” you ask Oksana while you turn your chair around to grab your notes.

“Ah ha... I... Don’t actually know that ritual.” Oksana says, laughing nervously.

You spin around in your chair slowly, only to gaze at her. “The Succubus Demon Queen of *Magic* doesn’t know a simple portal ritual?”

“Oh come on! Back when I first transformed, rituals were VERY to come by on Earth! Just before I became a Queen I only knew a few! After I became one, I mainly just relied on my controls and other Okarians to help out. There are probably Okarians... Hell, Belkarians that know more rituals than I do!” Oksana says.
>>
>>23027802

[3/3]

“OK, can you try to teach me the Space Control needed so that I can learn how to use portals?” you ask.

“Well... Yea about that...” Oksana says, scratching her head.

“...Please tell me that you know space control.” you reply.

“Oh I do! I’m very good at it! Hell, I had to be in order to make the inside of the Astral Prison! Just that... Well... I kinda want you to learn it by yourself, as a test.” Oksana says.

“Test?” you ask her.

“Yea. Thanks to Janine’s ‘sharing’ of your memories, we got a better view of where you live. I’ve been kinda thinking that... It probably may be a good quest for you to head out and learn one of the advanced controls from other Okarians. See, the Okarian culture is... kinda insular in a way. They’re very secretive about things. I think this’d be an excellent test for you to go out and also interact with other Succubi. Just managing to strike a deal with an Okarian to willingly train you isn’t an impossible feat because you’re one yourself, but tricky enough to be counted as a challenge.”

You simply raise your eyebrow at Oksana as she says this.

Oksana sighs as she collaspes. “...Also a thinly veiled way to see how many race has been doing. ...Probably also my daughter. I... Don’t want you to think of me as unfair. I... I just think that the bird should try to learn to fly on it’s own. B-but if you think I’m being unfair I could probably teach you and... Oh my god it’s been so long since I’ve forgotten how to things...”

Hm... It seems Oksana wants you to go out and learn it yourself. Socializing may be a good idea, but on the same hand it seems if you complain enough that she’d probably teach you anyway.
>>
>>23027657
Sandact wouldn't let us do the crazy stuff until we had a high level of control, like Ada's water control can't manipulate blood yet. And at the higher levels gravity can be plenty crazy too. When everything is completely broken, nothing is.
>>
>>23027810
Look, Oksana. I understand you want me to go out and socialize. I just think I should be more capable before I wander off to meet people who can take a look at my progress, realize precisely what I am and start asking questions as to where such a weak Lord came from.
>>
>>23027810
"That's fine, it's just that I needed it for that plan... you know with the noble girls. Otherwise I'll be heading to T.O. after I get the twins come back. What's the name of your daughter so I at least know who I'm looking for."
>>
>>23027810
>Hm... It seems Oksana wants you to go out and learn it yourself. Socializing may be a good idea, but on the same hand it seems if you complain enough that she’d probably teach you anyway.
accept the quest but complain about it. see if there is something else she's willing to teach instead
>>
>>23027911
like that Aether Shield technique
>>
>>23027810
She has a point, but we can do both. Get Space magic now and try and get another Okarian to teach us Time or Fate magic or something later.
Also ask her about her daughter.
>>
2 for, 2 against so far
>>
>>23027904
I dissagree with promising her that. We have a ton of stuff we still need to do to secure our powerbase here
>>
>>23028094
We decided to let that in the capable hands of Ada. We never worked on that power base to begin with.
>>
>>23028111
>We decided to let that in the capable hands of Ada
just because we're letting Ada run the fort doesn't mean that we can ignore building a power base. I mean what did you think we were doing with the nobles or the twins?
>>
>>23028151
>just because we're letting Ada run the fort doesn't mean that we can ignore building a power base. I mean what did you think we were doing with the nobles or the twins?
And how do we plan on getting the power necessary to transform the noble girls? It's not like demon knight are a common sight in Fort Hope.
>>
>>23027810
>Probably also my daughter
Your daughter? You gave birth to someone?!
>>
>>23028200
>And how do we plan on getting the power necessary to transform the noble girls? It's not like demon knight are a common sight in Fort Hope.
Sandact6 has said that there are enough snow pirates to sac for all the nobles if we get them(pirates) all.
the power to change the twins is already there with the gemmelli queens
>>
>>23028151
>>23028111
Also doesn't mean we don't need to make Ada into a willing subordinate.
>>
>>23027810
I think learning by ourselves is a good idea but like >>23027901 said learning a few more tricks can't really hurt
>>
>>23028270
>Sandact6 has said that there are enough snow pirates to sac for all the nobles if we get them(pirates) all.
the power to change the twins is already there with the gemmelli queens

Or we could get the knights from T.O. and bring them to the queen. Giving us a stronger power base there and weakening Arcticus.
>>
Also, demon bodyguards
>>
>>23028320
that's currently a bad idea as T.O. is a major supply route for the Pride demons, and would allow Arcticus near complete mobilization.
>>
>>23028358
I don't get where you read about taking over the city in my comment.
>>
>>23028358
Yeah we don't want to do anything remotely public there, due to that reason, until we are ready.
>>
>>23028320
If we start attacking pride demons in T.O. shit is going to go down. Doing that before we're powerful enough for open war is just stupid and will get a lot of succubi killed/broken in retaliation.
>>
>>23028396
>>23028358
Major supply route means a lot of movement, it's not like we have to go full retards. We can also put the blame on another group it doesn't need to be the succubi that did it.
>>
>>23028437
What other group? T.O. is succubus central and they watch it very closely. The slightest sign of revolt is going to be put down.
We could maybe get away with it, sure, but why the hell would you take the risk when there are so many easier places to get food?
>>
>>23028437
That doesn't mean they won't be blamed, may I remind you of the black death and who got blamed as one of the causes?
>>
>>23028480
It's not food, it's finding a source of power that make Leona refuse this while doing a service to a queen. As said earlier the knight aren't the only options. We can assault demons moving through the city to someplace else.
>>23028511
There's a market for demon heads, guess who we can give the body to that will take the blame for us?
>>
>>23028385
killing all of the Pride knights is nearly the same thing, as it's the removal of their control of the city.
>>
>>23028575
There's more pride demon in the city than the 3 knights. It's just that there is /ALWAYS/ 3 knight present.

“Your daughter!? You gave birth to someone!?” you ask Oksana.

“Yup. Three girls.” Oksana replies.

“But... Didn’t you used to be a guy!?” you ask her.

Oksana simply sighs. “A long time back I used to be similar to you in a way. After I became a Queen got into a serious relationship with one of my best friends, Mokoto. She knew I was a Succubus, and helped me through a lot of the drama and other things that came with being a Succubus and probably woman in general. She was... Kinda soft like Mina, only she yelled a lot more at other people. ...Also didn’t act as floaty as her. Aside from the one instance where I... nearly raped my male friend due to outside mental influence, I was generally a lesbian.”

“Yea, in the flashback you mentioned something about Mokoto. What happened?” you ask.

“Well she basically died. I’d... rather not say the details, but let’s just say I still beat myself up over it despite the other Queen’s telling me it wasn’t my fault. Regardless, I... I took it rather badly. Very badly. I... kinda tried to rip open a gate to the cycle of reincarnation.” Oksana says.

“What!?” you ask. “I don’t know much about metaphysics, but wouldn’t doing th-”

“Yes, it would in theory collapse this dimension. I honestly didn’t care back then, I just wanted Komoto back. Thankfully Janette saw the signs early on and told the other Queens, who then stopped me. After that I... I really felt like shit. Here I was, the God damn Demon Queen of the Okarians, and yet I tried to do something insanely stupid, dumb, and risky when I advocated responsible magic use in the past.”
>>
>>23028616

[2/3]

“How are you still Queen?” you ask.

“They had a serious vote whenever they should bar me from being the Queen of the Okarians. However, they did come to the conclusion that I was only really doing it out of grief. While my attitude was understandable, my actions were not. I was stripped of my Queen title and nearly everything I had for 30 years. VERY generous punishment considering the stuff I did.” Oksana says.

“Well what did you do?” you ask.

“For a while I just... wandered around. I started asking serious questions about myself. Janine told me that immortal beings will generally have ‘mid-life crises’ every now and then, and encouraged me to take this time off to do some soul searching. So I... basically decided to try my luck at starting my life off when I became a Succubus in the first place. I got a job at an IT company and just became a normal salary woman.” Oksana says. “It was during one of the times I went out to the bar, to get myself drunk like I did most times back then. It was then I met Jack. He... he also lost someone close to him recently. The two of us started hanging out more often, things became more serious and... well eventually he asked me to marry him. I... I was actually pretty happy. A-at that point I didn’t care he was a guy. He... He put me at ease like Komoto did, and really that was probably the most important thing my life needed at the time.”

“Did you tell him you were a Succubus?” you ask.
>>
>>23028622

[3/3]

“Yea... I kinda had to tell him during the first pregnancy, especially since I didn’t want him to find out when the ultrasounds would eventually show the child has having horns and tail. He... he was a bit shaken, but thankfully understood. At that point there... really isn’t much to say anymore. For the rest of my punishment, I basically led the typical family life. ...Well... Typical as you can possibly get when you have three daughters as Succubi, but you get the picture.” Oksana says. “Even after I went back to being a Queen, Jack was happy to stay with me.”

“What happened to him?” you ask.

“He chose to die as a mortal. At first I was really pissed off at him, asking why he didn’t want to stay with me. It was then I found that... he honestly died with no regrets in life. I... still miss him but I think he taught me an important lesson in life, in that things still go on despite how bad things may seem at the time.” Oksana says.

Well that was a rather heartwarming story.
>>
>>23028542
>We can assault demons moving through the city to someplace else.
Or we can just assault them when they get to someplace else and we're miles away from T.O.
Or look around T.O. for clues as to where we could find another knight stationed in a remote location like Blizzy was who they won't care about.
Or just feed the queens pirates and not tell Leona where the power comes from because seriously why does she need a rundown of their dietary habits.
Or any number of other options that are less completely retarded than starting shit in T.O.

Well I think this thread is a wrap. Vote for whenever Brooklyn should ask Oksana to teach her anyways or whenever he thinks the quest is a good idea. ...Or something else altogether. At least something so I know how to start next thread.

Logically magnetism would come under light control because of photons, and the soligram thing seems to support that because solidity is an electrostatic thing, so if we level those two that should give us everything except the nuclear forces. I'm not sure what we'd do with those two.

Quest only when we have ada and everyone else. On our side.

Despite your horrid spelling, I tend to agree since we really need reliable access to funds and eventually soldiers. How should we phrase our offer to Ada? I was thinking something along the lines of: "So, I'm kinda a demon lord and I've been ordered by the queens to conquer and rule the planet. By the way, what continent do you want? I think you'd make a great ruler of Australia personally.

We have no reason to promise anything. We're planning to go to T.O. at some point and try her quest. If our plans change she can deal with it.

Here >>23027904 implies that we are leaving right after we get the twins back. I want at least another pair of weeks after words to whip them into shape. Reminds me, we need to find a way to allow them to travel with us.

I was saying that going back to TO with their father would be the safest choice.

From the sound of it, the twins travel between here and T.O. constantly - that's their trade route. We can just go with them. Also being part of a merchant caravan gives us a legit excuse to go there which might make it easier to conceal being a succubus.

Yeah, I'm saying that there caravan job is annoying since we can't have them travel with us or stay near our area of operations. I'd honestly like to have Ada offer their father some sort of cushy retirement job.

After we transform them and during the travel time to T.O. there's plenty of time to convince their father to leave them in our care.
>>
>>23030186
Well we have to transform there here, we have to take them to the Queens for that. But it'll be easy to convince their father to leave them in our care.

And it won't be that hard to convince them to get Succubutted, they said that they never wanted to feel helpless and scared again, we can offer them strength, and they already trust/love us for saving them and being there for them.

New TO or old TO. I'm not exactly sure how close they are geographically. Plus, they are coming in two weeks, Langley is getting offed in three. We can't leave before killing him.

I'm probably getting them mixed. I couldn't tell you which is which without looking at the archive.

Why not? I agree that we probably need more than two weeks before leaving but I don't think Ada needs any help with her little coup.
>>
>>23030312
Old TO has Succubutts, New TO is capitol. Anyway, I don't want to leave the fort until we have our minions trained, Langley dead, and Ada as a willing subordinate.

He is enlightened and there are 4 demon bodyguards around. She probably can deal with all of them, but us helping out can't hurt. Also, the fact that we are going to murder Leona's father is a bit of a delicate matter, and one we probably should be around to handle. Plus ensuring that our needs are dealt with in the immediate aftermath.
