Inside the fortress of Zipangu, right at the dawn of the war with the church you’ve revealed your master plan to the black winged man flanked by a plant girl and a ghost who are both looking at you with different emotions, ludicrous for one, fondness for the other but so far you’ve yet to see that rosy spirit not smiling.

It didn’t took long for you to set out for the kitchens with this lovely trio, you had a bit of concern for the Alraune but it would seem that her specie can move without too much trouble for intermediate distances, which in retrospect make sense, if those plant girl were fated to always stay in one spot they’d have been driven extinct by now and on the way you learned a bit more about her physiology, how she needed to stay in her plant to grow and survive and how she actually regrew the missing left hand of Kyorn after a short period of ‘’incubation’’ inside her flower.

To dwell on what ifs will only sour your mood on this extremely lovely day, with sun climbing in the sky you’d theorize you only had about 4 hours of sleep but you aren’t any worse for wear, much the contrary in fact for you have enough moral and energy to have a constant smile plastered on your face.

The entire fortress give you the impression of being sleepy, outside in the garden there was quite a number of the blue clad knights lazing around in small groups and you suspect some romances were going on here and there, fortunately you manage to stumble upon another trio of beastkin knights who promptly told your own little group the direction of your destination and, halfway through, the ghost disappeared into the walls.
You don’t have any idea what the sleeping girls love or dislike, you aren’t even sure how to pinpoint Mylen taste for she always ate everything that came into her plate.

Your train of thought is rudely interrupted when you collide headfirst into a closed door, and you recoil in surprised pain while massing your forehead, however the sweet, sweet aroma of food fill your nostrils and, fortunately, your hunger isn’t due to the beast.

That’s what happens for going forward without looking in front of you, but that’s a small price to pay for the kitchen, the aroma has completely invaded your body and not even the most gorgeous of monsters could dissuade you from stepping inside, for nothing can rival the short sightedness of a man on an empty stomach.

The headchef of the castle occupied the largest part of the kitchen, busying with the insane amount of food and preparation of meals at breakneck pace, keeping her attention focused on 4 simultaneous meals, tentacles flowing to the plates with extreme dexterity as the Scylla concentrated now that she didn’t need to lead her subordinate, and nobody in the room seem to give the new arrivals, namely you Kyorn and Ifè, a glance.

To see around seven Weresheep whipped into activity with such fervor is a sight to behold, especially during the early morning, although the number soon dwindle as they exit the large kitchen there are still around 3 left to support the Scylla who is busying herself with alchemical apparatus and the usual kitchen fare, most of the meal already ready and kept warm thank to the small, glowing light above them reminding you of will-o-wisps.

Well enough of that you did come here for a reason

You catch one of the fluffy girls looking at you and wave your hand, breaking formation with Kyorn and Ifè as you approach the authoritative monster that, out of nowhere, shoot a tentacle in your direction and you stop right in your track lest you be slapped by the appendage.

‘’Why are two males distracting my staff? If you can’t control your hunger then deal with it, if it’s another kind then go bother someone else, would you?’’

A few, almost muted ‘’baa’’ after the head chef words, you’re still stunned by her quickness while Kyorn, for some reason, start laughing and you can only glare at him.

Look like you’ll have to be a tad forceful if you want to accomplish your plot.

…Those tentacles leave you much more perturbed than anything else and your imagination isn’t making it any easier.

Just as quickly, the Scylla humor deflate and the red, slimy appendage fall near the table once more with amazing dexterity and, without a word, she gesture to the large amount of food, mostly pancakes, hams and eggs ready made into easily transported plates.

Not wanting to stay a second longer with the easily riled up multi-appendage lady, the winged hero quickly help you out by taking the second chariot and following behind you, fortunately even if you completely forgot your way back the ghost guided you to the large infirmary, all the while you garnered many a leer from hungry monsters and actually wondered if you’d get jumped, the aroma of the enchanted plates was a very hard thing to resist, especially with Kyorn sneaking some parts in his mouth behind you, and denying Ifè the pleasure.

The door open silently, the added light of the lamp and alchemical enchantment allow you to perfectly see where you are going, the center of the large infirmary is currently occupied by a pack of monsters sleeping side by side on an absurd amount mattress, the count is pretty high and the only missing face is, to your chagrin, Tsukiyomi but on the far side, near the wall, Mylen slowly stand when you and Kyorn stop with the carts, her fiery, glowing red eyes actually shining in the dark, reminding you of her succubus nature.

Slowly, she walks without a sound to you and Kyorn who is watching the sleeping pack while Ifè start to break the enchantment keeping the meals warms, allowing the aroma to escape more efficiently.
