Nighttime Horrors Thread Part IV: Unspeakable Experiments Edition.Because there are still stories left to tell and the last thread is auto-saging.Have you ever seen things at night? A mysterious figure appearing in your room, tormenting you as you try to sleep?Previous threads:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/23079276/http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/23103325/http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/23123454/
Why don't you just call it Paranormal Sex Thread?
>>23142009>monster too big, blocked by hanger rodSilly thing.
For those who haven't been paying attention, we've convinced an anon to try to fuck the pale apparition that haunts him at night.
>>23142054Changing the thread title at this point would just be confusing.
I hate to sound like someone coming straight from /x/ but in the summer of year 2007 at late night a presence in my room wake me up. I tried to open my eyes but every time I tried they where covered in tears and only could see blurs.Every time to see who or what was in my room it did a "growl" like noises (I don't have any pets). My door was closed, I always close it when I go to sleep and only the window was full open (I live in a third floor flat and also my window is facing a private pool pit).Thinking was my brother in law trying to joke with me I just turn my face towards the other side and when I did I feel how that thing hit me in the head with something quite solid, like if it was trying to break my skull, I tried to open my eyes and scream in protest but when I did another hit fall upon the same area of my skull (the area close to the ear, left side).Scared and feeling like under the effects of sleep paralysis, I hold my breath, hoping whatever got in my room thought I was death after that hit. The presence left and I somehow fallen in deep sleep. Next morning I wake up with the biggest headache ever and since then my rear cavity doesn't stop doing a "cracking noise". According to the doctors, there is no skull damage nor brain damage nor tumors, but the sensation is still there and sometimes where that thing hit me does hurt or sometimes feels numb.
>>23142077Dem last three posts, man...Now accepting bets than anon met a gruesome and unnatural end.
>>23142095Weird stuff manOnly way I can rationalize your pain is that your brain 'remembers' the strikes to the head.
>>23142121The loser has to attempt to successfully follow Descartes Anon's goal.
>>23142137Before that attack one day found in the morning a foot print (athletic shoe sole for be precise) over my desk (I have a large desk with a L shape, great part of it is under the window. I thought whoever climbed the wall of bricks outside was some kid who forget his apartment keys and being I the only one sleeping with his window full open decided to get into the building trough it. I always thought the one who leave that print was the son of the family living in the second B (I live in the third B), he has the body of a climber and the age for do such thing. However I doubt he was the one who attacked me at night, the blurry figure was like taller than 7'.
>>23142199It'd be a dick move to attack you while sleeping if he just wanted to get inside the building, couldn't have been him.Heard any rumors about the room or building you're staying in?
This seems a good thread as any.So in my modern superpowers game there's a dream realm. I've kept my players from getting there yet, but the story is about to send them there and I don't feel like trying to think of a new roadblock for them. I dread running it cause I seriously have no idea how to run it.So /tg/ how would you run a game where you jump through peeps dreams?
>>23142288I SWEAR there's a system where this is the entire setting, I just can't remember the name...double damn. I just had to leave the book back in Virginia. Basically, there's a setting where you're a group that slides through different people's dreams killing monsters that use those dreams like we use beef. If anyone else can remember the system's name, I'd recommend using it as a base guideline.
>>23142288Each dream is connected similar to a labyrinth of rooms, but the catch is that the 'doors' linking each dream to the next has to be similar on both sides. For example, walking through think forest foliage on one side could have you emerge through the foliage of a garden property.Or going down an elevator in a mall could open on the fourth floor of a city office. To reach the dream you're seeking you'd have to know what it'd be about, lest you wander aimlessly and get lost in the dreamworld.Returning to the real world could require you to get back to your own dream but that might be too hard so having the host wake up without going lucid might work.
>>23142386Huh. Well I'm using Abberant. The game all arty and y masterpiece. Basically a game where the world really does revolve around the players. The settings mostly modern day, but Jack Kirby style super gods and secret organizations exist and are just starting to appear. The players are the worlds first "superheroes" in that they have powers, one of the origins of which are these massive space creatures who protected the barrier between dream eating nightmare creatures and our sanity. He dies, player goes green lantern with glory body runes as the power transfers to the closest thing. Anyways they're about to enter the dreaming realm where the presence of these benevolent protectors hasn't been felt for hundreds of years. Now I can't think of anything this dream realm would look like.
>>23142397Wow that sounds cool. Imma steal that probably!
>>23142245Well, before we moved in in the year 1996, the previous owners of the apartment said there was a fire in it in the 80s (the building dates from 1982).In said fire there wasn't any casualties. However I didn't suffered any further "attacks" since 2007, except some attacks of panic which I consider the result of vivid nightmares which I don't remember once I wake up.
Bumping in hope anon didn't die of lucid dreaming.
It's getting a bit late. What time did anon usually report in by?>that feel when more bothered about not getting to hear more of his adventure than about his probable death
>>23144022he was just faking the entire thing
>>23144113Shhh, this is a board where we just make believe. Don't be a downer.
Where the heck is the apostle of descartes?
>>23144160In St. Louis. At least his body is for sure there. His soul, only he knows.
>>23143573You can't die from lucid dreaming. As for me, last night was strange in that I remembered TWO things, and both of them just add to my growing frustration. The first happened around 3:30, and I was somewhere between dozing off and just barely asleep. Out of nowhere, I felt something like a physical tug on my shoulders that startled me awake. Since I couldn't figure out any reason for this, seeing as my apartment/dorm is a single, I rolled over, made a note, and went back to sleep on my opposite side. Then I remember having a dream that was really el whacko, where the male members of my family replaced the surgeons at the 4077 MASH. I was Alan Alda, my old man was Wayne Rogers, or Mike Farrell, it was kinda hard to tell, my grandpa was Harry Morgan, and my uncle was Larry Linville. The house in San Diego that my grandmother used to live in was apparently the OR, and I remember distinctly that we were all wizards for some reason. Fucked if I know. The frustrating bit came as I was trying to reassure myself that we were ready for the next wave of casualties, and Harry Morgan/my grandpa sat down at the kitchen bar behind me and patted me on the back in reassurance... and then the pat was followed by a cold hand massaging my shoulders and a female voice said "I told you it would be okay."I turned around, and before I could see her my brain realized it was a dream and I woke up. Apparently I still have trouble lucid dreaming on purpose, and missed a perfect chance to see her while lucid.
Where is he? Come on, this has to end.
>>23146004It might have already.
>>23146004Y'know if Anon ended up fucking her last night, I'd be somewhat suspicious. That just seems too well planned.
>>23146039Or he's just trolling.
He was supposed to be back by now, so Im guessing the story ends here. His heroic deeds will always be remembered by us.It was probably a pleasant death.
>>23144022True, that.I'm mildly disappointed, to be honest.
Probably rolled a nat 1 on his Fort save.
>>23144022He said he'd report in by morning. It's late in the afternoon now. I think it's time to give up waiting.HERE RESTS INHONORED GLORYAN ELEGAN/TG/ENTLEMANKNOWN BUT TO GOD
>>23146237>Pleasant deathThis is a daemon alien robot ghost rapist we're talking about, so I wouldn't bet on it.
>>23146672Let's at least wait until tomorrow so we can dig through the obituaries.
>>23146719Anon lived alone. In an apartment. In St. Louis. He'll go undiscovered for weeks.
>>23146719>Man found with chest carved open and various organs hanging around his bedroom, pinned up with his fingernails.
>>23146786Clearly we need to call every apartment building in St. Louis and badger the landlords into looking through every room until they locate the body.
>>23146897>mfw /tg/ gets a bunch of landlords shot by paranoid drug dealers
>>23146672As a committed skeptic, I'm gonna say that Anon probably suffered some sort of psychotic breakdown over the last few days as he succumbed to the effects of an undiagnosed terminal illness. Maybe a brain tumor or something.
>>23147058Or he was just making up the entire story, but acknowledging that as a possibility ruins the magic.I want to believe.
>>23147058Maybe he had a terminal illness in the first place, accepted it, and wanted to go out with a bang.;_;7
>>23147371I really wish I could bring myself to believe the visitor was real and this wasn't all just in anon's head. The idea that this guy may very well have died alone and insane and will go unremembered is too grimdark for me.>mfw this thread
>>23147154I dunno, his story doesn't really follow the usual structure of "Hey guys, I just had sex with [insert supernatural creature]" threads.I mean, it ends without any actual smut, and it ends with him presumably dead instead of alive bragging about his supposed sexual conquests. I guess he could be particularly genre-savvy and specifically wrote it in a way to discourage suspicion, but that's getting into tinfoil hat territory. If he turns up later talking about how awesome sex with the creature was, I'll be skeptical, but until then I'm a believer.
Well, I'm calling it. Anon died for the highest cause of all; giving the dick to things beyond mortal comprehension.Let his story be a warning and/or encouragement for any who might follow in his footsteps.
>>23148126As an afterthought, the first thing that came to mind was that all of us might have a visitor not unlike this. I think some people should try something like our friend here and fake sleep for a night to see what happens.
>>23148317Dammit /tg/, you've already sent one anon to his death. How many must die in the name of SCIENCE?
>>23148317Without knowing the details of anon's fate, I wouldn't suggest anyone try to follow his example.I mean, if he died in ecstasy making love to the pale horror, I would think it's a pretty low-risk proposition. But if he died screaming in agony as she slowly peeled the flesh from his bones and devoured his heart, that would be different matter altogether.
>>23148317>the first thing that came to mind was that all of us might have a visitor not unlike thisIt's not like I was planning on sleeping tonight or something...
>>23148317>all of us might have a visitor not unlike thisA man can dream.... A man can dream.
>>23149104You dream, whether you remember it or not, whether you want to or not. Ghostfucker anon has his spectral ladyfriend, I've got my bright-eyed visitor... hell, you probably have a repeating element in your own dreams that you just might not be aware of. The only real question is how are you going to deal with it? Are you going to ignore it, fear it, or try to understand it? Or will you give it the dick?
>>2314922110/10 will use as pasta in every thread like this from now on
>>23149221It's not so much the idea of having a visitor that bothers me. More the whole dying thing.
>>23149435If you die during/after a "visitation", then that was just your time to go. Correlation doesn't mean causation, especially when the nature of the proposed "cause" is open to debate.
>>23148446>Finally, in pursuit of giving her the dick there is no sacrifice too great.>Descerates 22:6-21Abiding by these words anon died as he lived. Upright.
>>23149730Well, horizontal more likely.
>>23149752Well I was referring more to his erection, but all the same at least he was comfortable. As comfortable as you can be anyway.
The one experience that most traumatized me out of a period of my entire family seeing shadow people happened when I was 6 or 7. It's hard for me to even type about it.I woke up in bed, and couldn't move. I noticed the ceiling above me was illuminated with moonlight from the window, and then a procession of cloaked figures appeared and started marching across the ceiling. The one at the front was holding a staff, and had a goats skull for a head. And there was a bunch of tiny ones hopping around at the end of the line. This went on for maybe 30 seconds, then I woke up again and it was gone.To this day, I don't think I've ever felt that kind of mortal fear again.
>>23150486That sounds more like the Devil and some little demons than shadow people.
I only hope he went out with a screaming orgasm.Fa/tguys, please join me in a moment of silent to honor our fallen kin.
>>23150486> a procession of cloaked figures appeared and started marching across the ceiling
>>23151333>I only hope he went out with a screaming orgasm. From his description of the previous visits, it sounds like it would have been easy for him to get away if he had wanted to.Since it seems he didn't try to save himself, I'd expect that his death was truly exquisite.
Well OP got himself pic related before dying? I do hope he gave her the d at least.
>>23151704>Grey chicksMy fetish.
>>23151704No, No, N- Stop it boner I don't want to do this.
>>23151704Original drawfaggotry for anon's tale? Words cannot describe how relevant this is to my interests.
>>23142288First: establish that, between little points of light, the twinkling stars of the unconcious mind, there is the ether. Ether is the void of the lost and the damned, and staying in the ether is like pushing yourself too far into the Chernobyl reactor, only instead of losing health of body, you lose health of mind (if your system has an insanity rule set, use it.).You can "travel" dream-to-dream, but that's like sliding into a icebox in the middle of a volcano. Dreams are fragile states, and few are much larger than a single room. Disrupting the dreamer destroys the dream...
>>23151757>>23151856>>23151901I personnally can'T stand shaved-head girls. But heh, Still gave it a try
>>23151947It doesn't count as a shaved head if she never had hair to begin with.
M-maybe...if she's done with him, she'll pay me a visit?I'm fine with just cuddling, Visitor-chan.
>>23151963Well hairless, didn'T said that at first, though it sounded too much like ''I like my girl like I like my forest, with a big damn bush!''
>>23151704And there.I'd give it more time but it's one of those rare moments of the week I have free time. So heh.

>>23152641Not even for SCIENCE?
>>23152641That's a lie! A dirty slanderous lie! Even if he did die, he died a bard! Greater men than him have died slowly and sadly. He did not go silently into the night though...he went thrusting.
Can't wait till he comes back.
Just saying, but anon would still be alive if he had followed the standards set forth in the Harkness Test.He fucked a non-communicative being, and look what happened to him.
>>23152735I think he already came and went.ba dum tss
>>23152775Technically speaking, we never found out if it could communicate.
Drawfag here again.I swear to god if this is made up I won't tell OP on his bullshit. I will tell OP on his lack of taste.Pic very related. Long hairs are best hairs.
>>23152641If he's gonna fuck, fuck to pierce the heavens, even if it's his grave he's digging, he'll keep going!
>>23152809"You tell me not to keep digging my own grave? Screw you! I'm gonna keep on digging until I reach China!"
>>23152807D'awww she looks cute with hair. Decidedly less predatory.
>>23152807This picture is EXACTLY what I needed in a game I'm running. Thanks a ton, Anon.
>>23152807Have mercy upon mine balls...
>>23152844All's well. You're welcome buddy
>>23152838But it's impossible to dig your way to China. Once you reach the core, gravity will act oddly and you'll just levitate there in the burning heat until you become indistinguishable from the molten iron around you.
>>23152881It's a metaphor. Don't overthink it.
>>23152807The hair looks nice on its own, but it doesn't really represent anon's Visitor as he described it. While she looks spookier without hair, it's only right.
>>23152097Also, she probably does have ears. Anon mentioned her anatomy was normal, just oddly proportioned.
>>23152931Fair point there. Just wanted to share my vision. Still sadden me that such a creature would look closer to an aliums only because of the lack of hairs.>>23152947>he didn't mention if she had pointy ears>we will never know
/tg/, we must take this man's valiant sacrifice as an inspiration to keep givin' the dick to unexplained, paranormal visitors.
>>23152979Go ahead with pointy ears if you want.
>>23152979Oh dude, don't even stop! It's still cool.Personally I think having ears (pointy or otherwise) would help avert her looking like a grey.
The poor bastard, probably didn't even stand a chance.
>>23152979>>23152947I'm gonna say she probably did have ears. If she didn't, anon would have surely mentioned their absence.

Since it's sort of related to the thread, does anybody know where I can find a ghost story this reminded me of? It was about this guy who, half asleep, thought this old Victorian ghost was his girlfriend and smacked her on the ass.

>>23153345By my reading of the post in question, anon was unsure about the nose. He could see nostrils, but could neither confirm nor deny the existence of a nose because of the blurry glow around her. As far as I can tell, he never viewed her in profile.I'd say we give her a small nose like in. >>23153329 Looks better that way and isn't inconsistent with his story.
>>23153362I am now also interested in this story.
>>23153398I actually found this thread through /x/ after I got bored and wanted to read some creepy stories. In reality I'm actually a /m/an.

>>23153544>>23153585It was a genuine mistake. Fix'd.
>>23149435Dang man, I'm the complete opposite. Dying doesn't scare me nearly as much as some of the psychological horrors you can live through.A bullet to the brain or getting your throat slit/heart torn out would suck, but as soon as it's over there's no more pain. Whereas having a scary visitor or being in a scary situation with no end in sight is what scares the fuck out of me. I'd rather NOPE my way out of life before dealing with that shit. I never have my cyanide pill out of reach.
>>23153760But when dealing with supernatural horrors, you can't be sure that death will be the end.I mean, a creature that haunts you at night is bad, but what if your soul is drawn into its realm and you have to deal with it 24/7?

Serious question, /tg/. Asking both you and /x/ for different views and such. Straight femanon reporting in; ever since puberty I've had vivid repeated dreams about an exceptionally attractive, silent knight looking man. He has longish black hair, black plate and what appears to be longsword. When he first started appearing he did nothing and as I grew older he started touching me: hair, breasts, etc. he have me my first orgasm. I tend to see her more often during periods of stress: most notably when I had a fever of 103* that broke overnight. I've yet to be lucid when she's involved, and I can't really count on her ever showing up any given night.

>>23157674So is Descartes anon not showing up again?
>>23158730>he is dead, i guess!may his soul rest in peace!
I used to be afraid of the dark. I used to lay terrified, huddled under my blanket for what seemed like an eternity waiting for sun to rise. I used to love quiet hour in kindergarten (cause I could sleep then), and I used to hate winter, when night lasted for more than 14 hours. I was like that for about 10 years. I have seen a lot of shit since then. Scary shit, unforgetable shit, the kind of shit that stays with you until you die. I sleep like a brick now, because I KNOW that scariest thing the dark can hide is me.
>>23158730Perhaps instead of dying; he's in a coma, locked in his dreams with his nightly mistress.

Y'know, I actually did have a slight problem with night terrors for a while. Made it hell trying to sleep. /tg/ actually helped me get over it. Nothing kills the fear like imagining yourself having sex with it. It's either hilarious or whyboner enough for me to get over it.Thanks, /tg/.
Could somebody explain to me why Descartes is symbol of giving somebody (something?) the dick?
>>23158730I think we must find a new champion who will risk his/her life to do the work of Descartes.

>>23160131Welcome to memetics. The internet takes things and runs with them, and they become part of the culture of certain parts of the web. There's been more and more mixing of these as time has gone by, especially with 4chan becoming more and more known. Nowadays, certain relatively old phrases act as shibboleths for the Old Guard, but there's still every chance that sites like KYM will explain those terms to curious folks who google them. That's OK, though. We can recognise each other from more than just knowing the old phrases. We lie in our graves, dreaming of She who Rules the Sky, bony fingers with the flesh worn off, tap-tap-tapping endlessly. We walk among you here, where anonymity reigns. This board is perhaps the most like what we remember of our first haunt. If a spirit comes to you, /tg/, or anything else strange creeps into your bedroom at night, I speak for the Old Guard, those who have been here since the days of dot-net, when I say THIS IS 4CHAN. BY ALL MEANS GIVE IT THE D, OR GLADLY RECEIVE THE D. WHY DO YOU NEED TO ASK US WHAT TO DO? INDULGE IN DICKINGS, THEN REPORT BACK! YOU WOULDN'T BE HERE IF YOU DIDN'T SECRETLY WANT TO EXCHANGE DICKINGS WITH A GHOST. THAT IS THE TRUE MEANING OF 4CHAN.

>>23163271Well sure, if you want to be boring.
I posted this in the last thread just before it went inactive. So I guess I will dump it again.I don't know if this is a dream, or something that I imagine when tired.Every single night, almost anyways, I see a.. thing - what might be best described as a mimic, something which wants to look human - but is not. Its arms seem to bend the wrong way and its feet are almost always hoofed. Sometimes its hair also seem to be "flowing" downwards. I see it in various places in my house, but it often stands on top of my table in my living room and it always seem to stare at my point of view. This creature will often look female but sometimes it looks male. I don't even know if it is the same thing to be honest. Normally it doesn't seem to have malicious intentions but I remember one day after I got a bunch of new furniture it had clawed hands and it hissed at me. Which made me realize something, normally it held its mouth closed and it rather often smiles.Last time it visited me, or I dreamed about it was last night, I viewed it from my true point of view (my bed) and it was "clinging" to the empty wall in my room. Its hair was dark blue and "flowing downwards" almost like water. Its legs ended in spikes, rather than feet, and its mouth was very thin and straight. I noticed its eyes were squeezed slightly. Furthermore there always seem to be slight illumination when I imagine it. So, has any of you heard about this kind of mimic before?
Anon still boning that ghost?
>>23163372I have some bad news...
>>23163333This is sort of what it legs looked like last night. Imagine that the line to the left is the wall, and where the "spikes" ends it had human legs.
>>23163444Forgot the picture...
>>23163372You haven't been paying very much attention to the thread, have you? Anon appear to be no more. While it may be possible that he is boning the ghosty thing in whatever realm awaits us beyond death, any such boning is unverifiable at this point.
>>23163333>it was "clinging" to the empty wall in my room. Its hair was dark blue and "flowing downwards" almost like water. >Its legs ended in spikes, rather than feet, and its mouth was very thin and straight.Jesus Christ, how horrifying!I think I'm going to suggest against trying to fuck this one.
>>23164691It'll be pretty open to pity sex. Unless that's really attractive for its species.
>>23164691Hmm yeah. I probably wont try to fuck it any time soon.
>>23164764The problem is that she-- it (or possibly them if it is different things I see) is a shapeshifter as far as I know. It (or they) changes form.
>>23164849>The problem is that she-- it (or possibly them if it is different things I see) is a shapeshifter as far as I know. You do realize what that means, right? Everyone you meet could be the horrible creature.
>>23165002I.. never thought about that...I always just thought that they... or it.. this is a damn dilemma. From now on I will assume that there is only one and I will refer to it as "it".Well anyways;I always assumed that it only visited me at night, in my dreams or when I am about to fall asleep. But with what you said in mind, it might look "flawed" (hoofed feet, bent arms and so on) on purpose so I wouldn't think that it could look "normal"Oh god.
>>23163296>Tim CurryAnon, it's like you actually know me. Now I'll have to make sure to watch Rocky Horror before I go to sleep tonight, otherwise he'll come to punish me for wasting the opportunity.Well, Rocky Horror or Muppet Treasure Island - both are awesome.
>>23160353I'd volunteer, but sadly I've got no "long-lost childhood horror" or whatever these are.
>>23168970The /x/ thread had a few people without previous encounters with nocturnal horrors report that something akin to Descartes-anon's killer visited them last night.Someone there theorized that awareness of these beings may attract them to you.
>>23170424So all of us in the thread are now much more likely to be visited.
>>23170424I'm really hoping that's just a "correlation does not imply causation" sort of thing, and otherwise unrelated hauntings are being ascribed to reading this story.Although I suppose if they're right we'll get a much larger test group to determine the fuckability of their kind.
>>23170762I'm willing to put my dick in the line of fire for SCIENCE! Damn shame I have no history of night-terrors to fuck.
>>23170888>>23170762We are the armies of humanity, our dicks are our weapons, and in Descartes we trust.
Is it too late for a Valentines Day miracle? Surely anon is really okay and will return to regale us with tales of glorious otherworldly hedonism, right guys?Right?
>>23170762Descartes-anon said he hasn't seen the visitor in a very long time. Until he mentioned it here, that is.Sounds like causation to me.
>>23171155Saint Valentine has heard your plea from across the vast gulf of centuries, and laughs at your pathetic hopes. He watches with glee as our once-great Anon fades away into madness, a plaything of the Pale Lady lost forever within the illimitable blackness of the Void beyond this world. No miracle for you.
>>23171621He still earns our respect.;_;7
So we seem to be in auto-sage.I don't know if it's really worth it to start a new thread, seeing as our hero has fallen. What say you?
>>23171912Well, there must be more stories of this sort out there. What have we to gain if they are lost?
>>23171998Alright. >>23172427Here's to condemning anons to certain death.
>>23171998We shouldn't make another.I'm saying this as the guy who made the first of these threads, and one of the first to egg that poor bastard on.
>>23147663Dying alone and insane would probably be preferable to whatever would happen when you try to hit on a faerie or spirit, or whatever it was.
