As our ship nears port, I ask Nicolas Le Lobo about his apparent "Church..." I had actually never heard of such a thing before.. Well.. maybe when I was a little girl... but then, my father told me all sorts of fantastical stories and lies about him making a successful deal.. I wonder how dad's doing..

"Well, the Church of Light worships the light of the three poles and the Grand light in the center. So, we worship the light of the North, East, and West, and seek the glory of the Grand Light..." He closes his eyes and seems to bask in something.

"Wait, poles? What about the south?

"The Light of the south is not for talk in pleasant company... Please never say that to me again." He doesn't open his eyes and simply sits there...

Ok, well.. I won't.. I think to myself. Such an odd guy, might be nice to just ditch him...

The ship is brought into the Western docks without much of a hassle.

Nicolas, Bartleby and even Jojo seem to awaiting some kind of order...

Jojo specifically just keeps staring at me witth those soulless eyes... Despite his crude speech, I'm never quite certain what exactly he's thinking..

From my small ship, I hear something from over the docks, some really attractive woman with a... a really nice butt is arguing with some freaky looking clown-man.

I can't hear anything specific from here...

There are a number of things I can do in this port-city...

Well, being a social butterfly has always been a very profitable trait, and it looks like their argument is getting fairly heated..

"Bartleby, Jojo!"

Bartleby salutes quickly," Ma'am!"

Jojo mocks him with a salute of his wing," Bitch!"
A bullet clips his wing,"Mistress?!" He sweats, and I smile.

"You two will guard the ship until I call upon you, return, or give more orders. This should be brief." I punctuate with a wink and a fantastic smile.

"Nicolas. You're with me!"

The strange priest tips his hat," Why certainly ma'am."

"You sound weird, different.."

"Ma'am, just the light of the West. You've got my sword and my six shooter."

"Whatever, just port us if things get out of hand."

"Will do, Ma'am."

The two of us disembark and investigate the lady and the clown arguing...

The lady shouts," Oh look at me! I'm Freaking Buggy! Hey Alvida, let's take revenge on Strawhat!"

The Clown Returns," Oh look at me, I'm Alvida, when she was a fat freaking cow!"

The woman slaps the clown,"Shut up! I'm skinny now, so shut up! Look, it's all your fault that strawhat got away!"

"It's YOUR fault that I lost my ship, we can't even leave this chum-bucket before the marines catch us!"

"Why are we yelling?! They'll hear us!"

They notice Nicolas and Ii, and they both freeze, staring at me, stare at them, and Nicolas tips his hat with a smile.

Hmm..

Looks like these guys just got done losing a fight.
And did I hear them mention revenge?
Revenge is one of our languages.
Perhaps we can sell them some wares to assist in their scheme?

Also, as an aside: It seems straw hats are/were near here, if anyone wanted to catch up to them and metaknowledge their way into his crew I'd say now's the time.

That said I vote for:

In that order - I feel more comfortable when the other side is trapped, plus it's more practise for when things go bad.
>>
Hmm, I heard Revenge, and Revenge is expensive.. And I'm the one profiting... Hehe..

"Why hello there valued Custo- I mean, friends..." I begin with my trademark merchant hand-rub.
"I couldn't help but overhear that you may need some help. . ."

The Clown smiles and scratches his head," Why yes, we could definitely use some assistance, my crew's been captured by the marines and I'm stuck here with this- WHY THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE NEED YOUR HELP?!" He ends with yelling, so much that his face turns red.

The woman puts a finger to her mouth and takes a more calm approach," Why... we could use a little help now.. We've recently lost our means of getting out of town. Maybe you could give us a ride?"

"Alvida!? What do we look like?! Beggars?!" The Clown spits at the ground," I won't do it, no friggin way!" The woman pulls out a large metal club and swings it, the clown ducks.

"The frigg are you doing woman?! You could've taken my head off?!" The Woman grabs the clown and pulls him in for a huddle. She whispers, but not quietly enough.

"Look here, she seems to be well off, if we hitch a ride we'll get off this rock and maybe even be able to lift some things from her ship..."

"Ah, I see, I see..." The clown's even louder..

They both stand up and put on a smile that I swear a merchant at the guild would.. except much more slimy.

"Well, we could definitely use a ride, especially if you're going to the Grand line, hehe.. " THe Clown's changed his tune..

My cunning tells me I should be able to pull one over on them, Nicolas, heard what they said too, and he's getting a bit... impatient...

Well, seeing as I so clearly heard their little plan, I won't allow myself to have the short end of the stick here..

Winking to Nicolas, whom tilts his head to me in return, I begin my own little ploy...

Everybody's a customer, and everybody has a wallet...

With my most convincing smile,"Now, I can't really give you passage on my ship, it's crowded as it is. But I can still help you out. You see, you've got your crew captured by marines, I think that they could bust out if they were properly armed. And that's where I come in. . . You're speaking to Ophelia Reers! Most well traveled Arms merchant in the world! My current stock of arms sports Rifles and Pistols from Marine surplus in the grand line, we even have Kairoseki ammunition to deal with those pesky Fruit using Marines!"

The two of them go back into a huddle.

"No ship!? Means we're not goin anywhere..."

"Yeah, but we'll get my crew back! That means that we can just take a ship and get off this rock!"

"But the Marines will be after us, I don't know.."

"What DO you know woman?! This is our chance!"

"Okay, fine, but if this backfires, I'm stickin my iron club up your you know what!"

"Hehe, don't be hasty Alvida..."

They break and turn, appearing triumphant," Well, we'll gladly accept such an offer, where are the weapons?"

Something just occurred to me... the Ophelia sniffer detects no money on these schmucks...

"Do you have any Beri?" I smile, charmingly.

They freeze in shock and huddle again.

"Sh-shit! I forgot we need money!" The clown panics.

"It's alright, alright, we can just ask for credit if she's with the guild.."

"But my credit blows buggy balls..."

"Yeah, blow yer balls on yer own time, we need this now."

They break again, the woman laughs and they both scratch their heads,"Y-ysee, we don't have any money... Are you with that Merchant's guild? You could always go by credit..."

If we could give them a load of weapons with some way of knowing their exact location (like Vivre Cards) we could give them the weapons, let them bust their crew out or whatever stupidity would increase their bounty, then track them down, throw them in jail, collect the higher bounty and get our weapons back.

If not, practice the solar death beam on them.

well we tried it that way, now I say we just capture them and grab a bounty. Then show up the HQ with THREE wanted pirates, hopefully WE have some Kairoseki ammo on us...

The Kairoseki ammo thing was a damn lie.

Though, I'm pretty sure Buggy's not immune to bullets, it's swords that he's amazing at.
>>

Damn. We should really get on making that though it sounds awesome.

Ok so the last time we used the hurricane gun we raped the town, what would happen if we used our power to make a super hard box around those two, shot our gun into it though a hole we left open, then closed the hole?
We could probably KO them both without dealing any damage to the town if it worked.

Still wearing my merchant's smile, I slowly open my eyes as I hear that they don't have any money.

Hmm... No money... I heard no money... No money means they're not a customer... and from what I've gathered, if they're not customers, they're pirates.

My barely open eyes, shift over to look at Nicolas as he tips his hat again. This man, he understands so well...

"Haha, well, what do you say?" The Clown doesn't seem to notice as Nicolas pulls out a gun from his sash.

"Oh, why thank you. I'm so happy that you'd accept our- Why are you pointing that thing at me?!" He screams again, going from calm to panic without a pause.

Nicolas smirks," Well, th' lady here seems ta want the bounty outta you two. The Light of the West is wild, and it demands Justice. I'm bringin' you two in.

"Hnnng..." The clown backs off at the sight of the gun,"Alviiidaaa." He whines.

The woman swings her club across to hit Nicolas. "Har, har, har! Got that pretty boy! Got him so good, he didn't even splatter, an-"

"Ma'am, Reckon I can't shoot ya, but if y' get in mah way, you'll be on the same level as th' rodeo clown here. She looks at the top of her club, seeing Nicolas standing there.

"Wh- Huh!?"

The clown goes red in the face,"PSSHHH DID YOU JUST CALL ME A FREAKING CLOWN?! That does it! " He whips out a bunch of knives from nowhere," I'm gonna cut you to ribbons!

His body dissembles and a hand with knives flies at me, Nicolas warps twice, to me, and then out of harm's way.

"Ma'am, we need a plan. That clown feller's got a weirdo ability. Light says there's sumthin' funny about the lady too. I can't hit no lady..."

First, I love Nicolas.

We'll leave Buggy to Nicolas and have a cat fight with Alvida. First we try making her club brittle as all fuck and then shooting it with either a hard air bullet or a normal bullet, either works. Then we use a lower level setting on the gun and ram her right into a wall to stun her and filling her gut with a bit of lead, not enough to kill her.

"PSHHHHYAAA!!! YOU SAID IT AGAIN?! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!"
Buggy strikes again, this time, Nicolas defends by whipping out a long and straight sword with a small chain and star attached to the end of it. Spinning the sword, he deflects the knives before firing a warning shot from his gun.

"What'll it be ma'am?"

The pause gave me enough time to think, and i have a solution..

"Nicolas, you take care of the clown-"

Buggy screams "Goddamnit! Stop Calling me that!"

"While I take care of the woman, after all, you don't want to hurt her, right?"

"True ma'am, I won't let you down." He deflects another pair of knives by spinning his sword.

Combat time!
- - - - - - -

Nicolas warps away from the next volley of knives, and begins to spin his sword around to strike the ground, only to take a thrown knife to the back.

"Tch, God Dangit!"

"Pshyaa serves you right! I'll cut you up a lot more for calling me a clown!"

"Well, not like I reckon you'd even be good in a rodeo..."

"Wh-what?! Still!?" Buggy's face goes red again and he whips out even more blades. "Bara Bara festival!"

A swarm of body parts flies at Nicolas as he tips down his hat and smiles, pulling the knife out of his back and taking a two sword stance, the marks in the dock glowing.

"Swordplay of the West Light! Rough n' Wild Taurus!" Small pockets of stars come up in the shape of the Taurus constellation, Nicolas charges Buggy and tramples down his attack with brute force.

Buggy disperses for the most part, but Nicolas's attack hit something... Buffy bites his lip in the air, holding back a scream.

"PSHYAAAA YOU'RE STEPPING ON MY TOES!"

Nicolas looks down and smiles at the wriggling feet in clown shoes. He presses his steel toed boots down and Buggy's parts writhe around on the dock.

"Ma'am, pretty sure this is tak'n care of." He throws a thumbs up.
>>
I stare down Alvida as Nicolas fights Buggy. I'm not used to someone that uses brute strength, she stares me down with her club over her shoulder, pushing out a lip in an almost delectable manner... but what I want... Oh yes, what I want is that ass...

"I'm the strongest Woman in the East Blue Darl'n, don't think that I'm gonna go easy on ya or nuth'n. I'm a terrify'n pirate after all..." She throws a completely flirtatious smile, that would capture my heart if it wasn't as hard as a rock...

Speaking of that, I draw Skill and cunning from my Brace, focusing on her club to make it hard, harder, hard enough to be brittle, let's see if this works.

She steps up to me, seemingly able to glide over the dock and smashes it down, breaking it as such. I sidestep and shoot the thing with Cunning, finding that the bullet's been deflected... Hmm, not enough force, or not brittle enough...

How should I deal with her?

Her pretty face contorts slightly into an irritated scowl, complete with a small vein in her forehead,"What did ya say?"

That got her attention," Well, I said the ass was fat."

"The ass was what?" Alvida asks, quite confused.

I clarify for her, "Your ass is fat."

"You bitch!"

I back off and make a small hardened wall of air as she charges me, sidestepping her as she slides up, out of control.

Well, that sure was easy... time to restrain...
I focus on her body and harden the air, locking up her movements, yet leaving her behind exposed.

On the dock, encased in hardened air, with her butt presented, I saunter up to her with grabbing hands and a devilish grin. I reach to touch my prize, and to my dismay, I find that my hand slips off of her flesh without a good grip.

"Wh-what?! What is this?!"

Alvida screams," Wh-what are you doing you freak, you pervert! Get your h-hands off of me! I'm the most beautiful woman in the world!"

"All the more reason to do this!"

I try for another squeeze yet to no avail.

I notice Jojo staring at me from the ship, his soulless eyes saying nothing, but I know he's looking down on me...

We need to get to the Grand Line so we can hit Fishman Island and grope all those scaly mermaid asses. Mmm, that sounds good.

Thanks for the Dfruit when we get the marine HQ anona >_>^
>>
Huh, I should probably do the luck rolls again...

I like rolling because rolling is fun.

I'm guessing this roll will be... 86.

[] Take the bounties to the Marine HQ
Nicholas.
What a bamf.
>>
Hey GOQ is back sweet.
I want to state for future reference that hardness and brittleness are unrelated traits. There really isn't any reason to assume you could make a mace brittle by making it harder, nor would it make that mace easier to break.
>>
That ass is cash.
>>
>>23157277
That he is, we still need to grope his ass, but we can be patient about that, wait until just the right moment.

I resolve to take these two fugitives to the Marine HQ here in Loguetown, Gotta be a good bounty between these two and our freaking Crybeard...

Bartleby undoes crybeard's bindings and I have him walk a few paces in front of me. I drag Alvida's odd slippery body behind me, still bound by my air-prison. Nicolas has buggy wrapped up and hopping on one foot in a mess of body parts while he holds a gun to the disembodied foot.

"God, damnit... Freaking... Guh... I'm gonna be so tired..."

"Keep on mov'n or yer foot's gonna get some lead."

With a chance, I try to harden Alvida's rear end to make it more groppable. It just becomes hard and slippery, I bite my lip and put away my frustration. My quest continues...

At Marine HQ.

The Commodore of the HQ personally comes down and greets us. He's a large man with a gut to match and a hearty personality.

"Har, har, har! Never thought I'd see a merchant come in with such high bounties in the East Blue here! Most of you folks have silver tongues, but don't do much good in a fight, how'd you manage?" The big man bellows, his name, Commodore Whale.

"Well, Whale... It's not like I did it alone, had some help from a new bodyguard of mine." A wink."

"Shucks Ma'am." Nicolas tips his hat to hide a blush.

"However, I'm more inclined to know where my bounty money is. These guys didn't exactly come along without a fight you know..."

Commodore Whale laughs merrily,"Ahh, well good to know you still have the same greed as any other merchant! We'll process them and give you your sum on the 'morrow. It's a Kairoseki jail for these two!"

"So long as I'm paid. I'll be back to pick up the beris tomorrow."

"Ah. yes, yes. 15,000,000 for Buggy, 5,000,000 for Alvida, and 2,000,000 for ahhh... you called him crybeard?"

"Yes, yes I did."

"Crybeard it is then."

I still never found out that pirate's name...

With that mess over, what's next?

The pub. We deserve a drink for all the hard work we did today. There might even be a pretty lady with a gropeable ass.
>>
>>23157395

Or that. Like to run into some rowdies though..
>>
>>23157377
We should go to an alehouse we used to frequent, and tell the landlady our money's all spent (even if it is a lie), then ask her for credit.
>>
>>23157377
Like >>23157395 and >>23157418 said. I know of a tavern not far from here where you can get some mighty fine beer. The company's true and the wenches are pretty. It's the greatest damn place in the whole of the city.
>>
>>23157369
We are fucking loaded up with beris assuming this deal goes though.

I say we go to the news paper place, look for bounties in case we ever need a quick money scheme, and go buy us a bitchin' boat.
Maybe even put a down payment on one with huge cargo space and secret compartments.
>>
>>23157395
Go to the Pub and bring our bitches with us.
Wait till we get our beris to buy a new ship
>>
After dropping off those dirty pirates, I leave the Marine HQ with Nicolas and I feel almost euphoric about the money I'll have coming in... Everything sold from a merchant run goes back to the guild in a 10% rate... these beris should be guild due free.

I mean, the guild is nice and all, coordinating what places need/want what, trade posts info.. Nothing to complain about, just nothing that's pure profit, at least here in the weakest waters, the East Blue..

I could use a drink, and I think my crew could use a bit of RnR.

We stop back at the ship. inviting Jojo and Bartleby to go drinking. Bartleby's enthusiasm for it is amazing, and Jojo seems to just not really care. The large bird lands on my right shoulder, his tail feathers running to the ground.

We hit the pub and party it up with all the other merry people.

(Done for the night, can't see straight. Was fun guys! Overhuman tomorrow night, on time. so about 7:20ish from where I am.

You caught the winds of Profit! Lower the sail and let us cruise... Good night elegan/tg/entlemen.)
>>
Do these usualy just go for a night, or do we pick it up again later?
>>
>>23157758

It's usually for a night, but it runs once or twice a week or so.
>>
So what's our long term goal? I'd like to see Ophelia make Shichibukai, personally.
>>
when a crew reaches the end of the grand line in search of that treasure we'll be there hawking our wares. . We'll be like a game storekeep. Always there.
>>
>>23157962
Why not get to OP first... then sell it to the highest bidder?
>>
what do you think we'll be selling? The pirates that make it that far will be loaded!
>>
>>23158101
62. The riskier the road, the greater the profit.
>>
>>23157944

That would actually be interesting, given that she's a merchant...

A non-pirate shichibukai... hmm...

>>23157962
I can see that... I can straight up see One Piece being gone (whatever it is) and Ophelia just sitting there, living it up like some kind of Final Boss.

>>23158101
Likely Devil fruits or some other crazy thing we've found...

An idea I had personally was that Ophelia would set up a personal shop ran by a member of the merchant's guild at about ever damn island she cleared.

On the flip side, she's caught three bounties, at this point bounty hunting is easy money and the grand line is full of pirates.
