Hexer
>Natural aptitude to hexes, but not trusted by others because of it.
Supernatural Luck: Able to refresh a Fate Point on an 8, 9, & 10 on a d10.

And here was me about to go to KFC. Millie saved my diet.
>>
Robert Huxley of all people has just asked you to lunch after having saved you from a nasty two headed bull. He's apologised for the things he said to you before you taught him a lesson and seems earnest in his intentions.

>Yeah I'll have lunch with you.

As a relevant piece of character information:
>We are Millicent "Millie" Fauxly. Young witch newly accepted into the prestigious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You are a pureblood, something your mother and father take much pride in, and you have known a life of luxury and wealth. You're sister Maud is in her third year, she is your bitter rival. Ever since you were little you've been at eachother's throats, mainly because Dad's had a certain favor for you over her. You have been known to be antisocial and reclusive from others, being a recluse at home was easy, but in the hustle and bustle of Hogwarts you can feel your walls coming down.

>anti-social and reclusive
We're neither a socialite nor a some kind of manipulative schemer (we're an 11 year old girl, not a 1,000 year old lich). It seems wierd in the 3rd day at a new school to leap into lunch with someone who we attacked, when we dislike personal contact. It also seems wierd to leave our comfort zone for the aim of "contacts" which seems like meta gaming, ignoring IC concerns for material gain and things to put on a stat sheet, but whatever.

You hear Olivia say your name. Looking over your shoulder you can see Olivia standing with Nigel and Joel who look confusedly at you.

"We'll see you later then" says Olivia as she promptly turns on her heels and walks away. Joel and Nigel gives an uncomfortable backwards glance as they go with her. Robert doesn't seem to phased by them not tagging along, in fact he seems relieved.

You follow him across the castle grounds, passing other students sitting around on the cool grass in the late morning sun. He leads you to large tree with thick roots a couple meters away from the school lake.

The way the leaves fall from the tree, falling onto the lake which reflects the sun is quite tranquil.

"I found this place on the first day to get away from everyone else" says Robert as he slumps down at the tree's root which makes for an excellent makeshift seat. He retrieves an unwrapped chocolate frog from his robe.

He's at least as smart as we are. He could've "poisoned" the chocolate frog with something he's immune to, but... we're a lonely 11 year old girl and it would be too awkward to accept having lunch with him and then refuse to eat anything.
>>

>I'm not sure "making contacts" is exactly in her priority list AT ALL.
Trying to get back in the good graces of her parents is a plausible in-character reason for trying to make Slytherin friends; especially as our entire family is known for being exclusively Slytherin graduates.

Robert sees to munching down on the chocolate frog which has melted a little under the sun.

"I really am sorry I spoke to you that way, my friends were goading me on, not like that's any excuse. Anyway they're not my friends anymore" he says as he looks from the lake to you "I'm sorry about what you're parents too"

My issue is that he doesn't know we don't know. We were asking him what he meant, i.e. finding out what he knew. That doesn't have to imply that our parents are too mortified to even talk to us. Sure he can work it out but there's no point confirming it.

It wasn't Maud that revealed us. Everybody expected us to be in Slytherin. And now I want revenge!

Robert offers to go up with you but you make it clear you want to go it alone.

"I better get going anyway, I'll be late for lesson" he says as the bell for Muggle Studies rings. Looks like you'll be late for that.

You ascend the stairwell to the very top where you find a large finely furnished study. Books line the walls and heavy set furniture litters the room, interesting magical artifacts are sat around like discarded toys.

You see the tall wiry shape of Headmaster Tooledge appear above a flight of stairs looking over a bannister.
