>Behind you, Einstein hovered. You could check his data at any time, you knew: http://pastebin.com/CaAF0yS8

You stumble over your words as Summer babbled to Alex. He was utterly incapable of hearing her, and so you found yourself translating for her.
"Wait, wait, so, uh..." Alex said. "You're a psychic uplift who, um, manifested a human body and couldn't get rid of it until I showed up?"
"Yep!" Summer said, climbing off of him and sitting on her bed. She started purring.
"She says 'yep'." You say.
Alex rubbed at his temple.
"I don't know about you, but I'm starting to get a headache." He said, and stole the chair from one of the two nearby desks, taking a seat. "Also, Heather, I kind of sort of wanted to ask you if you could make me another drone. Like Geralt but I left him back on Burer's Glyph. No idea if we can ever go back there."
>>
>>23579055
Sit next to Summer, Scratch her ears/neck.

I can make you a drone no problem. You could probably ship Geralt over now though, you'll have enough money soon.

What sort of drone do you want? I'm thinking something long and squiggly with a hundred and ten limbs! Maybe with a laser tipped tail!
>>
>>23579055
we'll see, right now I'm making one of anna
>>
>>23579055
"Sure, when I have the time. I've been pretty busy these days, saving your ass and all that."
>>
>>23579055
"Sure! I have a workshop just across the corridor and it's amazing. This time I'll make you one that can walk without falling over."
>>
>>23579055
"Sure! But I'm working on one I promised to make for Anna that I have to complete first, so it might be a little while."
>>
>>23579055
"Maybe later, right now I'm working on Anna's drone."
Go pet the kitty.
>>
"I can make you a drone no problem, when I have the time." You say, sitting down next to Summer and patting her head. "I've been pretty busy these days, saving your ass and all that. I also promised to make one for Anna, so it might be a little while."
"That's fine." He said.
"I have a workshop just across the corridor, and it's amazing." You say. "This time I'll make you one that can walk without falling over."
"Well, Geralt was kind of charming, the way he couldn't move at all without falling over and kicking his legs stuck on his back." He added... and then held his head. "But I just came by to say that uh... that the scientists decided that they wanted to see the extent of my... whatever, and that my room's going to be down the hall a bit, with some guy named Damien."
He got to his feet and waved to both of you.
"See you two." He said, unsteady on his feet, and he waved as he made his way out of the room.

Once he was gone, Summer stopped purring, and her cheer seemed to vanish.
>>
>>23579055
Smile
"Sure I will! Just give me some time okay? I am in a little bit of rush last few days."
>>
>>23579256
Summer? What's wrong?

Look around.
>>
>>23579256
"What's wrong Summer? Does the manifestation go back?"
>>
>>23579256
"What was that all about?"
>>
>>23579256
"What's wrong, Summer?"

If appropriate, "You know, I might be able to make you a translator collar/bangle, thing of some kind so that you can talk to Alex without other people around."
>>
>>23579340
Maybe an earring?
>>
>>23579340
>>23579377
>There's nothing to translate. She speaks/knows english, it's just that since she's a tiger, she doesn't have the parts to speak it.

"Summer? What's wrong?" You ask, and look around. You don't notice anything in particular.
"I'm just... wondering what I should do now." Summer said. "Now that... w-winter's gone, I mean. And it will be hard to talk to Alex if he can't hear my telepathy, so I think I might... well, try and manifest another human. but this time I'd be able to make it go away."

"What was that all about?"
"... Two years ago, Winter died." She said. "Her aircar smashed into another. I was never used to being alone, so after that... she'd... stuck around."
She was quiet for a bit longer.
"... Since then, mom's thought that she was still alive. She thinks that both of us came here. I've been sending twice as many letters home."
>>
>>23579413
Okay, first thing's first. Summer needs a hug.
>>
>>23579413
"Oh dear. I… are you going to tell her what happened, now?"
>>
>>23579413
Oh no.

I'm so sorry. That's terrible.

Hug the cat as fully as we can.

Einstein, display the latest swimwear catalogue. We can browse around for someone for you to wear.
>>
>>23579413
"...Would you like a hug?"
>>
>>23579413
hug her.
"Do what ever makes you happy Summer."
>>
>>23579447
Also this.
>>
>>23579466
>Einstein, display the latest swimwear catalogue. We can browse around for someone for you to wear.
what
>>
>>23579482
For ideas for her new manifestation.
>>
>>23579413
Hug her
"Oh I am so sorry Summer. I just hope we aren't allowed to have any visits here."
>>
>>23579413
"Wow, that sounds horrible."

>There's nothing to translate. She speaks/knows english, it's just that since she's a tiger, she doesn't have the parts to speak it.
We can make the parts! But it is probably easier for her to do it.
>>
>>23579482
Well, she wants to manifest a new body, so we could get some models she can copy.
Or at least, that's what I think the guy is going for.
>>
>>23579413
"I'm sorry to hear that, it must have been very emotionally draining. And you couldn't have kept it up forever. Have you thought anything on how to... break the news?"
>>
"... Would you like a hug?"
"Yes please." She said, and you pull her close.
"I... are you going to tell her what happened, now?"
"... I don't know." She said. "I have a feeling that if I did tell her, she... wouldn't believe me. She'd insist that Winter just doesn't want to come home quite yet."
You hug her for a time more, and then speak up. "I could get einstein to display the latest swimwear catalogue, and we can browse around for someone for you to wear."
"To wear?" She asked. "Oh, no. I already have me in mind. I have for a while now, actually. When me and winter were little, she always drew what she thought I'd look like, if I was human. I'll use that."
>>
>>23579631
"Well I just hope you want have 3 centimeters thin arms made of black sticks."
>>
>>23579631
this is so sad. Don't stop hugging her until she complains, and then only reluctantly.

Can you show me?
>>
>>23579631
"Oh, that's good!" give moar hug
>>
>>23579692
>want have
Won't have even whoops
>>
"Oh, that's good!" You say, hugging her more tightly, pressing your cheek up against her.
"You're squeezing my neck." She said, and you reluctantly loosen your hug.
"Can you show me?" You ask.
"... Okay." She said, and closed her eyes, focusing...

And what you saw was... Winter's sister.. She looked healthier, slightly taller. The biggest difference, though, was the short yellow hair that went every which way, unstyled and wild, contrasting with Winter's close-cropped hair.
She waved her bangs out of her eyes.
"How's this?" She asked, tugging at the black sundress she'd manifested with her body.
>>
>>23579775
"You are cute!" hug her.
>>
>>23579775
"It is beautiful. You would make a really cute girl Summer."
>>
>>23579775

You look cute!

>>
>>23579775

>>
>>23579860
>>23579860

>>
"You make a really cute girl, Summer." You say, and pull her manifestation into a hug as well. "The hair looks as wild as any tiger I've seen!"
"Aren't I the only tiger you've seen?" Both of them asked. "And I'm not very wild."
The manifestation returned your hug, giggled, and then vanished.
Summer sprung off of her bed, and stretched.
"But I don't think I'll be as tired anymore, now." She said. "Now that I'm not keeping anything manifested most of the time."
>>
>>23580006
"But still manifestation is your talent. What will you manifest if not Winter?"
>>
>>23580006
"That's good! You certainly slept a lot before, although I don't know how much was innate cat-ness."
>>
>>23580006
Now we have more time to play!

You can play futurecraft with Anna and Alex and I!
>>
"That's good! You certainly slept a lot before, although I don't know how much was innate cat-ness."
"Most of it was being tired. I had to sleep for both of us." Summer said. "Because of my transgenes, I sleep as much as a human."
Her claws scraped against the ground as she stretched again. "I'm not very catlike." She said.
"Now we have more time to play! You can play futurecraft with Anna and Alex and I!"
"But the interface for uplifts is really stupid." Summer whined. "And I'm not a fan of the game. It's too... thinky."
>>
>>23580121
"Well, you could use your manifestation to play using a regular interface."
>>
>>23580121
"hm, that's ok, we can play different games."
"hey! Do you want to see my workshop? I need to make a droid for Anna (by the way I can also make you one)."
>>
>>23580121
"Then pick an overpowered faction so you don't have to think as much."
>>
>>23580121
We'll have to find a new game then. Maybe a racing game.
>>
>>23580121
"That's okay, Anna claimed she wasn't that big a fan anyway...though she sure seemed to enjoy crushing us over and over on the ship."
>>
>>23580121
"Well, something else then. Anna is way too good at futurecraft, anyway."

>>23580165
A drone might be a good idea. She could control it with her uplift interface and have it talk for her when she doesn't want to bother manifesting or when she's in public where they would be shocked by a girl appearing out of thin air or a telepathic tiger. I presume that's how normal uplifts communicate?
>>
>>23580224

i think she was playing against Alex, not us.
>>
>>23580244
>Uplift interfaces are essentially touchpads optimized for nonhuman paws/claws/etc. They all have built-in synthesizers, and can be put into a collar which can snap off easily.

"Hm, that's okay. Anna claimed she wasn't that big a fan anyway." You say. "We can play different games. Hey! Do you want to see my workshop? I need to make a droid for Anna."
"Yeah, sure." She said.

The two of you made your way across the sloping hallway of the station, and ended up once again in your massive workshop, Anna's drone frame sitting there. You start working on the ion propulsion and setting aside the computer parts, while Summer paced.
"I have a question." Summer said, sometime after you'd connected the computer parts to the frame. "Why is Anna like she is? She seems really... cold to everyone except you and Jilly sometimes. Like we all annoy her."
>>
>>23580248
Yeah, on the way back. She was crushing us multiple times while we were going to save him as well.
>>
>>23580275
I am not entirely sure. She won't tell me about her past other then it was really tragic.

I don't think she ever really had parents, or a family.
>>
>>23580275
"I think she doesn't consider you a friend."
>>
>>23580275
"I think she's had a really difficult time all her life. Up till now I don't think she's ever had many friends."
>>
>>23580275
"Dunno, really. She's got some sort of mysterious past, that's for certain, but I don't know it, yet. Maybe she got burned by a friend before she came here?"
>>
>>23580275
"I think she only stopped being cold to me because I was incredibly persistent."

"I don't think she's really used to the whole "making friends" thing. I could speculate further, but she would probably see that as a violation of trust. You could always ask her?"
>>
>>23580275
"I'm not sure, I mean I know I'm annoying as hell sometimes, but lately she's been treating me alright.
I get the impression that maybe she hasn't really had many friends or even family before, and it's just her way of keeping people at arms length until she's comfortable around them.

Just try not to take it personally and be persistent."
>>
>>23580275
"I think it's because she isn't used to socializing with people and making friends. So her defensive mechanism is to be cold and standoffish."
>>
>>23580275

I guess it has something to do with her past?

I can try to make her warm her up to everyone, maybe get Her and Damien to get along.
>>
>>23580275
"Because she's a secret agent super-soldier pirate queen."

>Uplift interfaces are essentially touchpads optimized for nonhuman paws/claws/etc.
Oh right, it's Max that has the brain implant.
>>
"I'm not entirely sure." You say through the screwdriver in your mouth. "I think she's had a really difficult time all her life. Up 'till now, I don't think she's ever had many friends, and I think it's because she isn't used to socializing with people."
"... That's really sad." Summer said, after thinking for a moment, and then darted out of the workshop. "I'm going to go give her a hug!"
You continued working for a time, getting the drone assistant programming mostly put in, copying what you could from Einstein, and just as you were figuring out how to customize the hovering, Sarvesh clicked behind you.
"I want you to know that I'll endeavour to learn to use my ability more quickly." He said. "So that you don't need to spend time flying, if a disaster happens, and so that I can come with, and perhaps be useful."
Then he was silent for a bit, and looked around.
"This workshop is pretty lackluster." He said, his mandibles twitching with sarcasm.
>>
>>23580439
"Yeah, that's because I haven't built anything big yet. Like my own ship!"
>>
>>23580439
"If you want to. Don't push yourself too hard though. And isn't this workshop awesome? I can build anything for you!"
>>
>>23580439
"I'll be happy to bring you along next time, Sarvesh.

But I'm also going to funnel a lot of my money into building my own ship, too. One that'll hold more than two or three people."
>>
>>23580439
What? Oh, no, don't say that!

I was panicking, looking for some solution or other, I shouldn't have asked you to do something like that, especially since you had only just unlocked the ability.

My workshop is AWESOME

>>23580439
>"This workshop is pretty lackluster."
"well, so are you!" angry put.

>>
>>23580439

>>
>>23580439
"Give me some time, I just got it yesterday."

"Don't feel bad about it, Sarvesh! You did what you could."
>>
>>23580439

When i asked you, i was in a state of panic, i didn't mean to push you in to learn more quickly, although wanting to learn is very good.

Just don't exhaust yourself.

"Gimme a week to break in the new equipment."
>>
"Well, so are you!" You say, and pout angrily at him. Sarvesh started to chuckle, his mandibles clicking together.
"I was being sarcastic." He said, and laughed. It seemed his telepathy was getting better, with how you could hear him laugh, now.
"When I asked you, I was in a state of panic. I didn't mean to push you into learning more quickly. Don't push yourself too hard." You say.
"You shouldn't either." He said, and approached the bench. "... You're working on a drone, are you?"
His mandibles clicked, and you had a strong feeling that he was grinning.
"You may want to put the phaeron gas canisters near the rear of the drone, and the core below it. Push the fuel through the core. Negates the need for coolant, and may get you some extra thrust."
You stare at him.
"I made my arm, didn't I?" Sarvesh asked.
>>
>>23580605
I think we should just grin at him, then get back to work.

"You did?" You ask, and grin at him. "I thought you had it made for you. That's so cool!"
"I had it implanted, yes, and had a standard cybernetic added." Sarvesh said. "But it wasn't powerful enough, so I constructed my own."
"Do you have a workshop too?"
"Not one of my own, no." He said. "It's simply a hobby to me. Instead I plan to save up my money."
"Do you have any other ideas?" You ask. "It's going to need every advantage it can get to keep up with Anna."
"Anna prefers zero-G." Sarvesh said. "So it might be best to put very tiny thrusters around all surfaces, with the primary one on the bottom."
He shrugged, and then watched you as you got to work.
Some time later, the computer was set up and customized, the ion thrusters were working - after one incident where it shot off toward the hallway, but the centaur had caught it just in time - and all that remained was putting the plates on.
"... Do you want me to tell you why my brother and I fought?" Sarvesh asked, suddenly. It was the first words he'd spoken in nearly an hour.

>>
"I thought it was a ritual of your people." You say.
"It is, but it isn't." He said. "A wargame is a ritual of our people. A ... sport. something integral to moulting, and usually done to celebrate a time period of schooling. What my brother and I did was... more similar to a duel."
"If you're fine with telling, then you have most of my attention. It looked personal, so I wasn't going to ask."
"Ah. It is rather personal, but you mentioned that you saw most of it anyway. You may as well know the context." He said. "There was never much love between my brother and I. But things started to go wrong when, well... when Kalish'chalzz arrived in the subtribe." He said. You got the impression that he was talking about a girl. "I'll skip most of it, but simply enough, we duelled for her. I had my arm removed, and I... beat him by refusing to moult, when he turned his back, I attacked him. I had gotten... angry."
You get a snippet of a memory that wasn't yours. Fury, powerful fury held tightly within your form, your mandibles squealing with your rage...
"That is when my ability showed itself. I still refused to moult until he had entirely been beaten, his carapace cracked, pincers smashed." He said. "... And I had broken the rules, by refusing to moult. I lost her after a night due to that, and now I am here. I never intend to return."
He shrugged. "That is my story."
>>
>>23580986
>"Would you mind if I took a look at your cybernetic pincer?"
>"Go ahead." He said, and the massive muscled arm hissed as he raised it toward you. You investigated it... and you were surprised. It was partially built from a military exoskeleton, with truly incredible amounts of hydraulics in it, and a nuclear core for power.
>"I lost it when my brother tore it off during our wargame." He said. "I didn't want to molt quite yet, so I had this added. My tribe was not fond of it.

>Quietly, you stand there and watch as the two charged one another, pincers at the ready. Snapping of carapace with buzzing and clicking, as Sarvesh was entirely pummeled, neither fast nor strong enough to fight off his ... his brother.
>Yes, that was his brother, you knew. Six moults old, the strongest and most powerful in the subsubsubtribe. He was pulling out all of the stops, fighting, and Sarvesh started to scream, when his brother clenched both pincers down on Sarvesh's arm...

"I can return." He said. "I just choose not to."
"You beat him after he tore his arm off?" you ask.
"Yes." He responded.
"Thank you for choosing to share this with me. I... kind of don't know what to say beyond that. Was that the first time you... got angry?"
"That angry, yes." He said. "I've been angry before, but..."
He trailed off, and then buzzed, and started to make his way out of the workshop.

"You're welcome to use this workshop whenever you like!" You call. "Just make sure you put the tools back where you found them!"
"I will." Sarvesh responded.

"Hey, Jilly. Sorry, was working on Anna's drone." You say, and grab some food in the form of a few sandwiches. "Where is Anna?" You ask.
Jilly's yellow skin faded to a more humanish tone. "She's in her room with Summer. They're listening to music."
You nod, and take the sandwiches to go, making your way back out of the cafeteria.
"...Okay! ...Have fun." Jilly said. As you left, her skin darkened to purple, and her tail started to curl.

You make your way back to the workshop, and tell Einstein to remind you about meals as you wrap up the drone, even putting a bow on the top, before moving to Anna's room. You cram the rest of your sandwich in your mouth, and knock on the door.

Anna, wearing one earbud, pulled open the door.
"Hello, Heather." She said.
"Come on in!" Summer called from the back of the room.
"Hey, this isn't your room." Anna responded. "You're not supposed to invite people. Come on in, heather."
You make your way in, and the room was... entirely empty, other than a bed, desk, and a small pile of books. Summer was lying on the floor, the other earbud in her ear, plugged into a personacom not far from the two of them.
"I was just showing Anna my favorite bands." Summer said.

>>
I think we need to go back to the cafeteria for more Jilly time food.

"I finished the drone for you! Isn't it nice?"
Then look around the room
"Hmm your room is rather empty you could use some decorations. For example the portraits of you favourite musicians! Speaking of which, what are you listening to?"
After we spend some time with these two we should try to spend some time with Jilly

"Surprise!" You say, holding up the wrapped sphere.
Anna looked down at it, and then tugged at the wrapping and smiled when she saw the basketball-sized drone.
"I finished your drone!" You say. "Isn't it nice?"
"It looks really well made." She said, and then flipped it on.
It beeped, loudly. "What is my name? What is your name?"
"Um..." Anna said. "My name is Anna. Yours is... Reynard."
"Preferences locked, Anna." It said, and hovered out of her hands.
"That's awesome." Anna said, and grinned.
"Hmm... Your room is rather empty." You say, looking around. "You could use some decorations."
"I could, probably." Anna said. "But there's nothing really do decorate it with, yet."
She shrugged.
"What are you two listening to?" You ask.
"Well, we just got past Terraformulation, The Polycarbon Six, and Anna really liked Zero-Gee-Dawg. Now we're listening to SixTwoSeven." Summer said.
You think about the way Jilly'd responded when you left, so you just grinned at Anna, said your goodbyes, and made your way back to the cafeteria.
"Hey again, Heather!" Jilly said, grinning at you in the peculiar way she smiled, still eating. "I'm really glad you two came back okay. I met that guy you saved. He's really nice, but apparently when I tried to talk to him, he got a headache." She said, and frowned.

"What's bright, bright green?" You ask.
"Scared. Green is scared." she said.
"Can you control it if you wanted to sneak up on someone?"
"Oh, yeah! I can control it. It's kind of fake, and doesn't look right unless you're really good at lying, but..."
She screwed her eyes shut, and then her skin all flowed into a bright, lime green for a few moments.
Then she giggled, and it flashed back to yellow.
"Isn't it really inconvenient that you have to touch eachother to talk?"
"No, why would it be?" She asked. "We can kind of talk with our skin if we really have to, but hugs are better."
You wrack your brain for a few more moments, and then you shrug, lost. "Want to try a game Alex and I play?"
"Sure!"

Some time later, Jilly was pouting, almost glaring at her personacom, her skin tinted slightly red and slightly purple. You'd won - which was notable, since you weren't actually that good in futurecraft.
"I even tried reading you!" She whined, frowning. "You just kept staring at the cute robots and clicking buttons!"
Hmphing, she crossed her arms, and grumbled.
"I don't like this game."

She waved, and made her way out of the cafeteria. You went back as well, first to your own dorm to grab some spare pillows and blankets, and then back to Anna's room.

This time, Anna opened the door before you knocked.
She was also wearing pajamas covered in bunnies. As was Summer's messyhaired manifestation - though hers was covered in tigers instead.
Anna grinned, somewhat sheepishly. "It, uh, turns out that Damien isn't the only one who has precognition. I saw us in these ten minutes ago."

>"No, why would it be?" She asked. "We can kind of talk with our skin if we really have to, but hugs are better."
Well the most obvious way is that you can't communicate from a distance. So if the lookout spots danger approaching your little prehistoric tribe, he can't just shout and warn everyone (maybe going bright green would work, but only for people who happen to be looking directly at him and aren't, say, asleep), he has to go around and hug them all individually. You can't talk to too many people at once. How the hell do their classrooms work, when the teacher has to be touching all of the students? Even just talking to a group of friends would be tricky. Seems pretty terrible to me. Jilly's lucky she's a telepath.
>>
>>23582511
>Jilly's homeworld was very low in predators. It mostly has annelid and insect life, with little else.

"I do, but they're all the way back in the room~." You say. "But manifest me some anyway."
"Okay." Summer said, and focused, as a set covered in cute robots, wrenches, and screwdrivers appeared. You took them into the bathroom and got changed, and when you came out, you were up to your ankles in pillows and blankets.
"I... I think that's enough, Summer." Anna said, somewhere underneath the pile.
"There's never enough pillows!" Summer said, as more manifested near the ceiling, falling to the ground.

The lights were dim, and the three of you were lying on Anna's bed, some Terraformulation running in the background.
"I have a question." Anna said. "Were you and Alex ever, well..."
Your cheeks burned. "No way." You responded.
"Well... think about it. His girlfriend looked a lot like you. Same color hair, same build..."

"Uh-oh, I think the last one got to her. Must be the truth then." You say, teasing her, and a pillow caught you in the face.
"Einstein, fetch us some hot chocolates with marshmellows!"
The drone hovered out of the room, and then you, Anna, and Summer took up your weapons.

Some time later, the light was so dim it was almost off, and all of you were lying in some sort of pile, summer on the bottom, empty mugs of hot chocolate sitting on the desk with all the books, buried in blankets.

"Anna?" Summer asked, apparently still awake.
"Hm?" Anna responded.
"... All those scars in your spine... Do you mind if I asked what happened?"
"... I was made." Anna responded. "Not born."

And then you were asleep.

You wake up in a pile of fur, Summer lying on top of you, Anna hugging both of you tightly, all underneath the largest pile of pillows in existence. Above all of that, you hear a low chirp, as Einstein updates his tip of the day.

"I can't breathe." Anna complained.
"Don't leave me here alone and cold!" You say.
Anna started to futily try to struggle - at least, until Summer got to her paws, climbing out of the pile, and suddenly you were both freezing, clinging to one another for warmth. Summer yawned widely, and her manifestation peeled off her pajamas before vanishing.
"I... I..." Summer said, and yawned again. "I can't unmanifest those until you change." She said. "Unless you *want* to be naked."

Anna, still freezing, took that moment to escape to the bathroom to change.

Make small-talk while waiting for our turn to change.

"So, how do your manifestations work anyway. Do they last until you actively dismiss them, or do they need effort to maintain and your subconscious takes care of it if you fall asleep without unmanifesting?"
>>
"So, how do your manifestations work, anyway? Do they last until you actively dismiss them, or do they need effort to maintain and your subconscious takes care of it if you fall asleep without unmanifesting?"
"Mmm, it's more like... Solid things that don't move, like candy or pillows stay there forever. Once I make them they're made forever, unless I want the energy back. Living things burn away my calories as long as they exist, and I have to sleep for both of them."

Anna came out, wearing her dour brown dress from before, and you went into the bathroom to get changed. Soon enough, you were out, and Summer demanifested all of her pillows, using them to wake up more entirely. Soon enough, she was perfectly awake and alert as Einstein warned you of breakfast.

"So, what's for breakfast, Girls?" you ask.
"I was thinking of having cereal." Summer said. "But then I remembered that spoons are really hard for me to use without a manifestation, so I'll just have ... I don't know."
"Waffles." Anna said, confidently. "Let's all have waffles."
>>
>>23583203
"I thought waffles was next week?"

"Can you demanifest anything and get energy from it? Or does it have to be something you've created?"

Make something small, like that plush kitten.

"Can you get rid of this?"
>>
>>23583203
"I'm good with waffles. With butter, maple syrup, whipped cream, strawberries. Anna, since you've never had waffles before you're in for a treat."
>>
>>23583203
"Waffles it is!"
>>
>>23583203
"Yeah, definitely waffles. I need to witness a person's first taste of waffles, and with my spotty attendance for meals I might miss it if you put it off for later."
>>
>>23583203
"Waffles. Waffles sound good. With some strawberry jam... Well let's go before I drool myself all over."
>>
"Can you demanifest anything and get energy from it, or does it have to be something you've created?"
"They had me uncreate a few really tiny things, but it's super hard." Summer said. "They need to put me in the chamber with the spectrometer and I have to unmake the thing they want me to unmake molecule by molecule."
You turn to Anna.
"I thought waffles was next week?"
"Changed my mind." Anna said.
"Waffles it is! I'm good with waffles. With butter, maple syrup, whipped cream, strawberries... Anna, since you've never had waffles before, you're in for a treat."

The three of you make your way into the cafeteria, where Sarvesh had shiny new plates on his arm, hiding the hydraulic cables from view. Jilly and Alex were there, talking about something, and Damien snickered. "The three of you looked very cute in your pajamas." He said.

Anna glared at him.
"... bunnies suit you." He added.
She glared at him.

Manifest a pillow and beat him half to death with it.

Twice.
>>
>>23583309
"He's right, they do! Hey, didn't my pajamas look awesome? Got it custom-made and everything!"
>>
>>23583309
"He is right Anna, you look cute in them."
>>
>>23583309
"You shouldn't spy on ladies while they're undressed, Damien."
>>
>>23583309
I think this is an appropriate time to manifest a pillow and throw it at him while shouting "Pervert!"
Just like in my Japanese cartoons!
>>
>>23583309
"Damn right we looked cute. Absolutely adorable, I had wrenches and robots on mine.

Up high Damien." Give that man a high five.

Rolled 90

Gonna roll for pillow summoning. If it's full of rocks I don't even care.

If it fails, ask Summer to give us one.
>>
>>23583387
It doesn't really matter what it's filled with because he'll just dodge it anyway due to ESP.
We should still throw it, of course.

These, in that order.

Indeed captcha.

The pillow appeared in your hands, and you brought it down on Damien multiple times. He was on the ground by the time you were done battering him, as he covered his head with his arms.
"You shouldn't spy on ladies when they're undressed, Damien." You say.
Then you demanifested the pillow, and made your way to go get some waffles. You put everything on the waffles, and brought them down to Anna, Summer, and yourself, taking a seat.
"He is right, Anna." You say, nodding to the collapsed Damien. "You look cute in them."

Anna busied herself with the waffles, carefully cutting off a corner and dipping it in the sweets, and took a bite.
Then paused.
"... I think I've fallen in love." She said. "These are delicious!"
>>
>>23583458
"And there's so much more out there.

You haven't had Tiramisu, or a good steak, or cake, there's so many things left to show you Anna. So many things."
>>
>>23583458
If you think waffles are great, wait until you try ice cream!

Are you alright Damien?
>>
>>23583458
"And we have just started."
>>
"And there's so much more out there." You say. "You haven't had tiramisu, or a good steak, or cake... there's so many things left to show you, Anna. So many things."
She grinned.
"I have had cake before, you know. For my birthday. Every year."
"When is that?" Summer asked.
"January first." She said. "New years."

You look down at Damien.
"Are you alright, Damien?" You ask.
He shot you a thumbs up, and sprung to his feet, off to go get some of that... goop.

After breakfast, the seven of you made your way down the hall, and into the classroom, where a teacher stood. As soon as you were all settled and ready, she nodded.

"My name is Professor Neva." She said, adjusting her glasses. "And now... Mathematics."
Well... At least no matter what your school was like, some things didn't change.

>End of thread!

Oh hey, I share a birthday with one of the characters.
>>

>"I have had cake before, you know. For my birthday. Every year."
but there are so many types of cake
>>
>>23583535
Oh no... Mathematics.

Einstein, sneak us the answers!

Hey Exabyte, Question: What armies does everybody play in Futurecraft? You said Anna tried the Space marines, but nobody else got a mention. What else is there?
>>
Oh hey look, I wrote a thing:
http://pastebin.com/KRp9cRXZ

Feedback is always nice, I've tried to improve since last time. Or just tell me who you want next.
>>

>tell me who you want next.

Anna/Summer/Heather
>>
>>23583590
Technically, Anna plays Space Commandos. Alex plays essentially everything, and Heather (unless you all want to change it) plays the Animatronics, which is a bunch of
WALL-E esque robots. Jillie tried the most basic characters, a group of regimented future soldiers/tanks.
>>
So how many people are actually on this space station? We've got the students, the researchers, the lunch ladies...
Presumably there's some maintenance guys, security guards, ect?
>>
>>23583760
The lunch ladies are always the same two, the teachers are also the researchers, and you've never actually seen the maintenance guys (except you have seen their shuttle arriving and leaving through windows now and then.)
There are about... less than fifty people on the station. Maybe more like thirty. You've never actually seen any security guards, either.
>>
>>23583788
so if we went on a psychic killing spree there wouldn't be anyone to stop us?
>>
>>23583815
There would be Max.

Did quick doodle of what I hope the ship we build looks like.
>>
>>23583942
>Awesome
First of all, I kind of sort of assume that the fuel on the port and starboard feeds through the engines on the port and starboard to the ion propulsion, and then the center rear engine is for everything else - Bubble drive, weapons, life support, ETC.
>>
>>23583942
That's actually pretty much exactly what I imagined Anna's ship to look like.
>>
>>23583994
I imagined it like a fist, but instead of knuckles it has guns.
>>
>>23583973
Pretty much, the only thing I forgot to label was the thermal/EM sensors at the front and the central square which would be the Thorium fission reactor.
>>
>>23583606
I came.
How does it feel, knowing that at least one person has fapped to something you've written?
>>
>>23584041
It's a new and unusual feeling.

How far through did you get?
>>
>>23584144
I read all of it.
