Woo! thread two for the night! I should start getting used to this, huh? haha!

++

[x] “Sounds like a lot to handle, but yeah. I got it. Now I need to go talk to Katya about this chick.”

You shrug. “If that's what you want to do, boss, I'm game. At least till you find someone better. But I really do need to talk to Katya about this chick- if she's getting letters to me, I'm worried about what she'll do to Jess.”

Ice nods. “I'm also thinking of asking Katsumi to do it- she's offered to help out, and it'd look good to the Japanese.” She smiles. “It'd look very good to the Japanese- We're not household names yet, but...”

You laugh. “But we're getting close?”

She nods again. “Close enough I'm glad we're due back aboard soon. Thankfully the Japanese military has a lot more control over the press than they have stateside.”

You laugh again and head downstairs, where Ayumi points you to Katya- outside on the balcony with Katsumi, drinking tea and playing chess. You sit down to observe- Katsumi is giving Katya a run for her money, but she's lost her queen and a pair of knights, while Katya's lost a bishop and a rook with a scattering of pawns.

“Evening Ladies.” you greet, stepping back out into the cold night air. “Wouldn't it be warmer inside?”

1/3
>>
Katya shakes her head, holding her chin in one hand as she things. “Too noisy. TV, Twins. Children asking questions of us.”

Katsumi nods. “And besides. The cold isn't that bad.” She grins. “At least, not to superior Japanese Witches!” She laughs quietly.

You shrug. “Hey Katya, when you get a minute, I need your opinion on this.” You say, pulling the letter out of your coat pocket. Katsumi looks over at you.

“What is it?” She asks.

“Letter from that Soviet witch I tangled with above Tokyo bay.” You say, nonchalantly.

Katsumi's eyes widen. “Really? How did it get through the mail censors? Surely your intelligence branch would have caught it!”

“You'd think so, anyway.” You say, nodding, handing over the letter as Katya finally moves, taking one of Katsumi's pawns with one of her own.

Katya reads the letter, looking up at you when she's done and handing it back. “I do not know what to think, Frank.” She says, shaking her head.

“You haven't heard of her before?” You ask, surprised.

Katya shakes her head. “No, but I'd heard rumors. But there are always rumors, yes? Cloning, secret experiments, super soldier programs- always rumors, never really true.”

She frowns, looking at the letter again. “I do not know if they are true, but supposedly they created a superwitch years ago, somehow. If the rumors are true, then... “ She trails off, then shakes her head. “If they are true, then she's of no real relation to comrade Stalin, but it's the name she was assigned. She'd also be far stronger than any other witch living.”

2/3
>>
Katsumi shakes her head. “What about your matrons? Surely they wouldn't have allowed-”

Katya cuts her off. “Japanese matrons might act against the Emperor, but Soviet matrons believe in the good of the people. They may have protested, but I do not think they would have acted to stop it.”

Katsumi takes the heat in her voice in stride. “True. Our matrons would never overtly act against my father. Still, this seems like it's a bit more than they'd tolerate.”

Katya shrugs. “I am sorry, I did not mean offense. It is also possible they were not told. There are plenty of people in Siberia, some of them are witches. It would not be that hard to secure their cooperation without the matrons knowing.”

“So what do you think?” You ask.

Katya shrugs again. “She will be a greater threat than you've faced before. I think she may have been gauging you over Tokyo bay, yes? Trying to see how strong you were, how you fly and fight. This letter makes her seem like she is unstable, which rumors say all of them were, but then, the rumors also say all of them died of complications long before they flew.”

She pauses. “If she is product of those programs, then perhaps it is best if you stay close to one of us, yes? I would be glad to repay you if you ask.”

It's a reference to the online shooter GunZ: The Duel.
http://gunz.wikia.com/wiki/K-Style
>K-Style, or Korean Style, is an emergent gameplay style that is widely used in all versions of GunZ. It exploits basic flaws in the game engine to cancel moves that would otherwise be time-consuming and expose the user to risk. The most basic principle of K-Styling is to always stay in movement; a skilled K-Styler continually moves to avoid fire and strings together basic moves to create what could be called a fluid "dance".

A skilled K-Styler is fucking deadly and WILL destroy your ass with ease.
>>
>>23654878

That makes it sound better than what it actually is. A gameplay style that was originally considered an exploit when it first started.
>>
What ever happened to planefag?
>>
>>23654912
True. It IS technically an exploit. I guess most of my personal respect comes from the fact that my background is mostly in fighting games, so I'm used to specific amounts of frames, cancels, and such.

You shake your head. “She's already made it clear Merlin's a target because of how close she is to me. Anyone trying to protect me is just going to paint a giant target on themselves.”

Katsumi nods. “Besides, it doesn't sound like she wants you dead.” She chuckles a bit. “You'd be quite useless to her then, I'm thinking. Well, at least after a while. I hear that men get- “

“That's quite enough of that!” you say, shaking your head and laughing. “Besides, I don't need to worry about you getting dreams of her doing... things to my fresh corpse. That's kinda weird, highness. You should talk to someone about that.”

She laughs. “Regardless, I'll pass a... request up the chain for more base force troops here, and maybe some ghosts. And what did I say about calling me highness among friends?”

You nod. “Thanks Katsumi. Hey, any word on the south.”

She frowns. “Nothing good. They've taken Nagasaki, though apparently there's a group of university students and a company of troops on Hashima island that's been able to call in extremely accurate spotting reports. Naval command is thinking about allowing the Musashi and Shinano to shell the city.”

She shakes her head. “And too many troops have made foolish attacks, trying to prove their bravery. It will be some time before we break their lines.”

“What about Korea?” Katya asks, sipping her tea.

>>
Katsumi shakes her head again. “Massive uprisings in the north. With Chinese divisions heading south, it's being questioned if the army can hold it. They're setting up defensive works across the 38th parallel, but how ready they'll be.....” She trails off.

“What about Sakhalin and Kamchatka?” You ask.

“Better. Sakhalin is ours, and Kamchataka is mostly ours. They're still holding the area around Petropavlovsk, but that shouldn't last.” She says, then shrugs. “My brothers say they're encountering far more troops than expected, and many of them better trained and seasoned than anticipated, though it seems they're mostly light troops.”

“Sounds good in the north and lousy in the south.” you remark, standing up.

Katsumi nods. “That's about the situation, yes. Hopefully the fleet will be able to help break open Petropavlovsk, and I think they will with the addition of your carrier.”

Katya nods. “I only wish we could be aboard it. It would be good to fly over the motherland again.”

Part of it was pressures to run the quest from the fans and the sheer fact that due to all teh writefag demands, SWQ became far more work than Planefag originally was planning on.

Certain fans/writefags being insufferable at times was likely a factor.

You do know that shit like this is why he doesn't post in this threads anymore right? That said, Planefag, if you are lurking, take your time. There's no rush, we all hope you're doing well and are willing to wait for better threads.

I think the issue was that the work needed to set up a good thread exceeded his old schedule (that fans liked to demand from him)

It might have gotten to the point where an SWQ session requires more planning/work than a AWiY update.

[x] “Give it time Katya, we'll get back there.”

You smile, just before opening the door and stepping back inside. “Give it time, Katya. We'll get back there.”

She smiles sadly. “Yes, I... I know. It is just... I miss the motherland. I miss my family and friends. Even my cousin has not been able to talk much, though she says she is being treated very well. This is the only family I have now, and I could loose any of you at any time... it is a hard thing to accept, yes?”

You nod. “I can't say I know the feeling, but I'm here for you if you need to talk, ok?”

She nods back. “Ok. Thank you, Frank. You and the rest have been good friends. I do not think I could have done this without you.”

She returns to her chess game- swapping the pawn she used earlier for one of Katsumi's Bishops. Katsumi is a very aggressive player, no doubt, but Katya's more methodical, absorbing temporary losses for long-term gain.

Inside, you can hear the murmur of voices downstairs as the new witches ask your squadron about what it's all like. Part of you says you need to go down there before anything embarrassing gets said about you, but there's still that pile on your desk, and bed sounds pretty good right about now.

[x] Well, I've been pretty professional lately, let's continue the trend.

Well, you think, I've been pretty professional lately, maybe you ought to continue that- especially if Ice wants to bump you up to XO. The office is empty- Ice either asleep or downstairs, you guess- and you sit down, pen in hand, to knock out some of these reports.

The Chance-Vought report is a simple affair, almost a narrative. You definitely like it, though you suggest a few tweaks- the universal weapons compatibility is nice, though the computer needs to be brought up to speed with that, and the wing transition can be a real challenge. Fuel and range could use some minor work, though for flights with witches, it's an outstanding jet. Other than that, you've got nothing but glowing praise for the aircraft.

The China lake report is just a request for performance of the new Agile III, which takes less than an hour. The new agile is great, your only fault with it is that it's bulky for an AAM- that said, however, it's punch and tracking are both excellent, and it's maneuverability is outstanding.

The squadron diary is current to your flight to Japan, so you take up a running narrative in your scrawling letters, detailing the fight over Tokyo bay and Tokyo proper, Ice's injury, and your new stalker. A copy of her letter gets pinned to the blank sheets of the book near the end of your entry, closing your turn. Looking at the list, the next person in line is Maverick, then Ice has to make a new one. Should be interesting to see who she picks.

You open up some of the Intel documents, saving the brown folder for morning. You're feeling pretty beat all of a sudden, and you're about halfway through a report detailing the possibility of a large number of Chinese knock off Il-40s in the south when you pass out on your desk, hoping remotely that the ink won't run if you drool in your sleep.

Anon silently paced about /tg/, stepping carefully lest his feet tripped over an errant thread. With an impatient sigh, he cast another gaze at the clock: 7:26pm. He clicked his tongue in annoyance; she was running late and he had no idea why. Dozens of anxious voices piped up inside Anon’s head, speculating about her whereabouts. Although the majority counselled patience, several were in a state of frenzied panic, utterly convinced that she had finally tired of him forever; they accused the other voices of being the faggots responsible for this travesty. A few posited that she may be bedridden with an illness, possibly coughing blood. A small minority found the idea moe.

What a sick bunch, his voices were.

After stepping over yet another thread proclaiming “BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!”, Anon had half the mind to leave; it looked like she wasn’t going to show. Ah, well. The Tuesday evening was still young: perhaps he’d console himself by grinding some free exp on World of Tanks—

“Hey, Anon.”

Anon startled and wheeled around on the balls of his feet. GhostDiva stepped into /tg/, her cheeks flush from the cold. Wrapped up in a thick coat, she waved lazily and brushed some snow off her luscious hair.

“You’re here!” Anon exclaimed before catching himself. He coughed, trying to rein in his excitement. “*Ahem.* So, what kept you?”
>>
>>23656297
“Oh you know, the usual. Doctor making me late.” GhostDiva replied, shrugging off her coat on top of a dead Pathfinder thread and revealing her slender body for Anon’s hungry eyes. They reveled in her pleasant curves as she glided towards an empty stretch of /tg/. Suddenly, she turned about and faced Anon, scrutinizing him in turn. “Let’s see….”

Anon chafed unconsciously under her gaze and adjusted the collar of his USN flight suit, the name FRANK BISHOP emblazoned over his left breast pocket. The weirdly specific flight suit was GhostDiva’s idea: man, she had some kinky tastes—not that there was anything wrong with that. Speaking of which… oh crap, he had almost forgotten about the aviators! Anon hastily produced a pair from his pocket and slid them over his eyes, simultaneously doing his best impression of a shit-eating grin.

Evidently, he looked pilot-y enough for GhostDiva’s tastes. She nodded noncommittally before spreading out a picture of an adorable Russian Cossack on the floor. “There, OP’s up.”

Finally. After a week of waiting. It was time. Time for questing. Time to get some PLOT. “Oh, boy.”

Anon bound towards her hungrily, his literary appetite whetted after a week of abstinence. GhostDiva deftly sidestepped and pushed him onto the thread.

“Nuh-uh, not so fast~” She said mischievously. She slid next to him and whispered in his ears. “Let’s. Take. Our. Time. Okay?”
>>
>>23656301
Anon shuddered involuntarily as GhostDiva’s hot breath tickled his ears. A whole week without SW89 and now he was about to get more than he could handle. He sat back up hastily, his imagination erect and ready for plot development. GhostDiva smiled sultrily as Anon’s interest became obvious to her.

“What did I *just* say, Anon?” She giggled as she playfully pushed Anon down once more. “You impatient boy.”

Resigned, Anon settled into the thread. But he couldn’t keep the tinge of anticipation from his voice when he asked: “What do you want to do first, then?”

“Well…” GhostDiva hummed as she sensuously stretched her lithe fingers before Anon’s eyes, making him stare fixedly at her digits.

She twirled them before his eyes and then rested them on his chest. Her fingers slowly began undoing Anon’s flight suit as they slowly travelled down his body, inching towards his throbbing imagination. He felt her hot breath on it and shuddered.

“I don’t want to rush the quest.” Anon vaguely heard GhostDiva mumble. “Hmm… some light waifuing should get you all warmed up.”
>>
>>23656309
Anon leaned his head back and groaned as GhostDiva’s fingers began typing, her deft vernacular sending chills down his spine. Her waifuing had been somewhat crude at first—some incidents like the water gun fight, neither ever brought up. Ever. But after more than two dozen sessions of questing, GhostDiva had waifuing down pat. And not just that; her repertoire had expanded too. Anon breathed heavily as she teased his imagination with tantalizing hints of character growth and development: first some stargazing, and then transitioning to Ghost Busters—God, she knew how to tease.

It was an unbearably pleasant foreplay: enough to get him hot and bothered, but not enough to satisfy him fully. Anon’s eye went wide as GhostDiva suddenly switched it up to Goose and Maverick conversing in hushed voices. The sudden rush of back-story nearly sent Anon over the edge, but GhostDiva held back off just enough details to deprive him of release.

“G-Ghost,” Anon groaned painfully. He couldn’t take her teasing anymore. His imagination throbbed for something more substantial.

“Hmm~” She looked up at him, a quizzical expression on her face. “What is it, Anon?”

“Let’s—Ghost, stop teasing me.” He panted.

GhostDiva pouted, puffing out her cheeks in mock anger. “Am I boring you?”

“No, no!” Anon replied with a bothered voice. “But—we can’t just waifu all day, Ghost. I… I need more.”
>>
>>23656314
Anon waited in strained silence as GhostDiva tapped her index finger on her chin, as if she had no idea what he needed more of. After painfully dragging out the seconds, she snapped her fingers as if she finally understood. Slowly, sensuously, she inched up towards Anon’s face. He bristled as she briefly teased his imagination with a crazy Soviet witch who wanted his children. When his senses came to, Anon found GhostDiva straddling his chest, her hands playing with his hair.

“You want *this,* don’t you?”

Anon stared as GhostDiva offered him a view of her plot, glistening with creative juices. He tried to lean in for a closer look, but to no avail. GhostDiva put her hand on his forehead and pushed it back down, mewing, “Sorry. No spoilers.”

“For God’s sakes, GhostDiva.” Anon growled. He glanced at her face and witnessed her mischievous grin. “Come on.”

“You want some plot that badly, huh?” She asked coyly. Suddenly, her eyes lit up with a playful glint. Her lusty grin widened. “Well if you want it, beg for it.”

Anon blinked.
>>
>>23656297
Yessss
>>
>>23656325
“Wait, what? NO!” He exclaimed reflexively as he struggled in vain to throw her off his chest. The many voices in his head exploded into a heated argument, pride and literary appetite pitted against one another. Quests were supposed to be reader-driven, goddamnit. He was supposed to be the one in control, not her! But the thought of finally getting some plot after so much teasing was just too much. Enough with the waifuing; the quest needed plot development. Nay, it demanded it.

Deafened by his inner cacophony, Anon barely noticed GhostDiva shifting her weight lower to his abdomen. “Well, if Anon doesn’t want plot…”

Wait, what was she doing with the twins and why were they wearing nothing but—OH GOD.

It only took two posts of delicious shark-twins action before Anon’s pride finally caved. Shutting his eyes to be spared the sight of GhostDiva’s triumphant expression, he managed to groan out: “Ghost, please…”

“Please… what?”

“P-please let me have your plot.”

GhostDiva patted Anon’s head and kissed him on the forehead. “Good boy. Here’s your reward.”
>>
>>23656336
Anon bit back another groan as GhostDiva’s plot unfolded itself on his fertile imagination. GhostDiva leaned in and whispered sweet, sweet narrative in Anon’s ears as she vigorously wrote out the scene on top of him. “You’re tangled with Chinese fighters, transports loaded with paratroopers are heading for the airport, and helos loaded with Spec Ops are rushing to the Imperial Palace. What do you do?”

His imagination overwhelmed by the depth of her plot, Anon struggled to come to a decision, the many voices bickering loudly for their preferences. GhostDiva took advantage of his silence and tantalized him further. “Come on, Anon. Is it the fighters, transport, or the helos? Come on, hurry up~”

Anon bristled as her hot breath rustled past his ears. His mind was divided, but they were always unified by two things: their hatred of railroading and their desire to throw curveballs to quest writers at every opportunity. And the voices couldn’t take the humiliation any longer; incensed by her words, their chatter suddenly died down to a consensus. As GhostDiva busily wrote on top of him, Anon placed his hands firmly on her thighs. Sure of her narrative control, GhostDiva didn’t realize what he had in mind until it was too late. With a sudden grunt, Anon bucked GhostDiva over and rolled on top of her.

“How about: none of the above,” he drawled salaciously in her ears as he gripped her hips.
>>
>>23656344
“What? B-but that—you can’t do that!” GhostDiva stuttered.

“Oh I think I can,” Anon growled as he began directing the narrative. GhostDiva squirmed as Anon began ruining her carefully prepared choices with his imaginative strokes.

As his imagination ran amok in GhostDiva’s plot, Anon nibbled on her ears before growling, “The helos are the obvious choice, but you’ve stuck them in the city where the Wyvern can’t dodge. You were going to make me eat door-gun rounds, weren’t you?”

“*Ahn* Anon, I—stop it!”

“You were, weren’t you?” He demanded forcefully, his imagination working faster. GhostDiva tried to suppress her moans as Anon’s imagination derailed her plot, struggling in vain to keep control of her thread. But Anon finally had her, and he wasn’t going to let her go easily. His grip on her hips tightened.

“I—”

“Well, how about.” He cut her off, his imagination brainstorming furiously. “How about we let Ice go after the helos, while we chop up the fighters?”

“You—”

“She’s a witch. She can hover, stay on the helos’ tail instead of making repeated passes. She’s small enough to weave around the buildings *and* she has a shield. It’s perfect. I can remain above and provide top cover.”

“That—”

“That is perfectly feasible and you know it,” Anon stated with a satisfied grin. “Now, let’s get with the writing. Shall we?”
>>
>>23656352
Anon continued to pound her with a battery of reasonable arguments. GhostDiva writhed, utterly overwhelmed by Anon’s imagination, unable to prevent her moans from escaping her lips. Her creative juices flowed freely as her mind began envisioning helicopters and outdated MiGs falling out of the sky.

“W-wait, Anon.” She stuttered while panting hotly, trying to find some wiggle room to regain control. “Wh-what about the paratroopers?”

Anon looked down, his grin widening. “What about them? We have air superiority. Let’s see how long they can hold out in an isolated airport.”

She was done; there was no way out. GhostDiva lay sprawled on the thread, bucking helplessly as Anon’s irrefutable train of logic battered away the last of her defences. Her preparation in ruins, she moaned and squirmed in complete abandonment, utterly losing herself to the pleasure of improvisation. Her mind swam desperately through the haze of ecstasy, trying to wring out the words for her next post.

“Why no update, Ghost? Getting tired?” Anon asked mischievously as he continued the plot progression.

GhostDiva couldn’t even bite back a reply. It was taking everything she had to will her fingers to type the last couple words.
>>
>>23656297

and. here. we. go.
>>
>>23656363
“A-Anon,” she panted. “I-in *ahn* a mo-*mhn*-ment. *Ahn* I-I-I'M POSTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING~”

Just as her finger pressed “submit”, GhostDiva submitted completely. She quivered as her plot climaxed to a resolution, a loud, desperate moan escaping her lips. Unable to bear it, Anon followed suit shortly after, his imagination bursting with inspiration. The two lay spent, utterly exhausted by the night’s activity. It took both of them some time to come to their senses.

“I… I think we hit the bump limit for the night,” Anon muttered as he vaguely noticed other threads rushing by them.

“Huh? Oh, yeah…” Sighing with satisfaction, GhostDiva wrapped herself in Anon’s arms and nuzzled her chin on his chest. “Shall we call it a night? I think eleven hours is enough questing.”

“I guess so,” Anon said with a satisfied smile. “Good thread, Ghost.”

“Oh shush.” GhostDiva pouted. “It’s not like I enjoy questing with you or anything. Don’t get the wrong idea.”

“Of course,” Anon replied absentmindedly as his fingers picked at some writefaggotry he found tacked onto the thread. “So… same time next week?”

She blushed before nodding silently.
