>Hovering behind you, steepling his manipulators and cackling in a dastardly way, was Einstein. You could check his data at any time, you knew: http://pastebin.com/CaAF0yS8

"It's a conceptual issue." Jilly was saying, as you and her ate, Damien at your side. "The world around us isn't actually any sort of world at all. It's just our brains translating light and molecules into sight and smell. Everything is locked up inside of our heads, and from that perspective... distance doesn't exist. It's something our brain makes up. Tell yourself that often." She said, and flashed yellow in a giggle. "That's why I don't need to touch people anymore to talk."

"Sarvesh, can I use your shower again?" Summer asked.
"I see no reason why not." Sarvesh responded.
"Psst, Sarvy, why does she use your shower?" Pheles asked, a fish tearing itself apart in her mandibles.
"Her own room's shower isn't large enough." Sarvesh said. "It's fine, if she doesn't hit the pressure controls."

"I have a few more tips, but you should work on them one by one." Jilly added.

think about it, being a brain in our head. like Anna's Dad is a mind in a supercomputer.
>>
>>23787053
What?
>>
>>23787094
I think Qurl Dox is saying that we should try to picture ourselves as a mind inside of a body, in the same way that Asmodeus is a mind inside of a supercomputer. That the material is immaterial.
>>
>>23787094
Thinking about philosophical bullshit to get the ability to technopath over long distances like Jilly said.
If he'd rolled a 100, we'd have realised that the universe doesn't exist and become omnipotent.
>>
You close your eyes for a moment, and simply... consider what she said. Distance didn't exist - your mind was merely like a computer connected to the periphreals of your senses. For a single, tantalizing moment, you can sense the entire station, technology spanning all ends of it...
"The worst part of this is that I can't do any training like this." Damien said, and you lose your train of thought, as your radius returns to normal.
Damien took another fry from his plate, and he sighed. "Since my clairvoyance is completely lost to me. I mean, I could practice TK or telepathy or something, but I'm already so bad at those that I'll just feel useless."
>>
>>23787167
"What? I'm sure you'll improve quickly if you try Damien! I was lousy at technopathy when I first discovered it, but after just a single breakthrough I'm getting better and better!"
>>
>>23787167
"Why don't I teach you stuff about technology? Not like technopathy stuff, but enough that you could say, rig a remote control to something."
>>
>>23787167
"How long do you think it will last?"
>>
>>23787167
Well, from that point of view, you can't do anything but improve, now can you?

>>23787134
>>23787141
Uh...'kay. You two make sense, but what he said didn't parse that way. Or at all, really.
>>
>>23787167

"practice makes perfect, it would at least be a change from what you usually do, right?"

"like just now i could feel the ENTIRE station for a moment." with arms stretched for size indication.
>>
"What? I'm sure you'll improve quickly if you try, Damien! I was lousy at technopathy when I first discovered it, but after a single breakthrough I'm getting better and better!"
"That's different." He said. "I'm specializing in clairvoyance, since it's something I've always done. Outside of my specialization I'm not very good."
"Practice makes perfect. It would at least be a change from what you usually do, right?"
"I have messed around with TK a bit, but I'm not very strong. Lots of finesse, apparently." He said. "I just might take a break from the whole psionics thing.
"Why don't I teach you stuff about technology? Not like technopathy stuff, but enough that you could, say, rig a remote control to something."
"That'll be hard when I can't see." Damien said.
"How long do you think it will last?"
"Two, maybe three days." Damien said.
>>
>>23787234

"two days? do you need assistance getting around?"
>>
>>23787234
"Ouch, that's inconvenient. But you definitely have to come up with something to do then!"

>>
"Ouch, that's inconvenient. But you definitely have to come up with something to do, then!"
"I'm thinking I'll catch up on music." Damien said. "I mean, that's one thing I can do, and one thing I actually need to do."
"Hang on, let me try something." You say, and close your eyes. You reach into the camera feed, and focus on it, barely able to make out the great compound-eye that are the cameras... and you direct it Damien's way.
"Try what?" He asked, and your head swam, dizzy, as your third compound eye turned different directions all at the same time.
"Are you okay?" Jilly asked. "You feel kind of dizzy, Heather. Should you lay down?"
"What's going on?" Damien asked. "I still can't see anything, if you were trying to restore my sight."
>>
>>23787328
Normally I would agree. But so long as we phrase it as nicely asking the cameras to show him what's going on, we should be okay.
>>
>>23787345
He could see everywhere before. He probably had X-ray vision before. He is the ESP specialist.
>>
>>23787357
(disengage, ) Ill be fine I was trying to introduce you to the security cams, I just got a head full of all of them at once, some are moving in different directions, not the best plan
>>
>>23787357
"I'm trying to let you see through the security cameras. You're not getting anything?"
>>
>>23787357
"I thought I could ask the cameras to show you what they see. All I got out of it was a headache from trying to process it."
>>
"I'm trying to let you see through the security cameras. You're not getting anything?" You ask, as the dizzying array of cameras all continue to move in contrary directions. You focus, and then the cameras start to make a slight amount of sense in your head. You know that if you focused or held onto them for long enough, you'd eventually understand how to look through them without getting dizzy.
"Nothing, no." Damien said. "Thanks for trying, though."
"It was really hard for me to put anything except words into people's heads." Jilly said. "Back before I started practicing."
>>
>>23787465
"Guess I just need more practice then!"
>>
>>23787465
"Oh well."
>>
>>23787465
how did you do that?
>>
"Oh well." You say. "Guess I just need more practice, then!"
"Guess so." Damien said.
"Alright!" Pheles said, and Damien jumped- he obviously wasn't expecting her to suddenly call out like that. Pheles got to her six-toed feet, and stretched her pincers.
"The taxi just got here to take me back home." She said. Sarvesh got to his feet as well, and knelt down to be as tall as she was. He reached around with his lower arm to cradle her head, and gently knocked his forehead against hers.
"Be careful." Sarvesh said, in a low, low voice.
"I will." Pheles said.
>>
>>23787590
"Awww, it's a pity you have to leave, it feels like we barely even got to talk! I hope you'll come visit again sometime."
>>
>>23787590

"it was a pleasure meeting you Pheles, i hope you'll have a safe trip."
>>
"Aww, it's a pity you have to leave." You say. "It feels like we barely even got to talk! I hope you'll come visit again sometime."
"Maybe I will!" Pheles said, and pulled you into a warm, leathery hug. Then she pulled Summer into one, too, and for good measure... gently patted Damien on the head. "Now I need to go say goodbye to Alex."
"What, I don't get a goodbye?" Damien asked, and Pheles giggled.
"How's this for a goodbye?" She asked, and grabbed his hair, gently itching it with herl ower arm.
"I'm very pleased that you spend part of this weekend with me." She said, in a low voice. "You're invited to come to my homeworld, if you wish."
"I'll, uh, keep that in mind." Damien said. Sarvesh took a step forward, his eyes half-lidded from the thick carapace eyelid you hadn't seen until now, as it had been hidden under the thick carapace plate on his head.
"It was a pleasure meeting you, Pheles." You say. "I hope you'll have a safe trip."
"I hope so too!" She said. "Bye bye!"
"Bye!" Summer said, and Pheles left the cafeteria, Sarvesh on her heels.

"... That was strange." Damien said.
>>
>>23787758
"Really? It didn't look too strange to me?"
>>
>>23787758
"Dude, I think she has a crush on you."
>>
>>23787758
"I think she LIKES you!" giggle
>>
>>23787758

"it is the power of youth."
>>
"I think she *likes* you!" You say, and giggle.
"A girl liiikes you." Jilly added.
"... If so, that's going to be problematic." Damien said, and sighed. "Centaurs fight eachother to compete for mates. Or even just to see if a possible mate is... I don't know, strong enough. Sarvesh implied that he'd have to fight anyone interested in his sister, and I definitely can't beat him. Could you see me taking on a centaur?"
>>
>>23787909

"... maybe a very small one?"
"it shouldn't be a problem if you're not interested, right?"
>>
>>23787909
"oh dear...well the obvious answer is that you need to find someone else interested in you and have them fight pheles over you. problem soleved...I think..."

(look at sarvesh)

"or is that not how it works?"
>>
>>23787909
"If you decide to fight for her, you'll have the power of love on your side!
But so will all the others. Maybe you should get a big cybernetic claw too. I could build one for you. Or a whole giant robot centaur exoskeleton thing..."
>>
>>23787909
You need to make that clear to Sarvesh. I don't want tension to build between you because he thinks you are a potential mate for his sister. Unless you *are* interested in his sister of course.......
>>
>>23787909
"sure, yep I can picture it too like Bruce Lee fighting a toddler, or Muhammad Ali boxing a baby, like a Pitbull fighting a stake. can I watch?
>>
>>23787909
Surely it's more of an issue that she's a centaur, biologically, then that she's a centaur sociall.
>>
So does this mean that if we pick Sarvesh in the polls, he's going to be duty-bound to kick the shit out of everyone on this station who has a crush on Heather?
>>
"... Maybe a very small one?"
".... Could you see me beating Sarvesh in a fist fight?" Damien asked.
"It shouldn't be a problem if you're not interested, right?" You ask.
"But if she's interested, then I'm obliged to at least get to know her well enough so I'm certain if I am or not." Damien said, and sighed.
"Surely it's more of an issue that she's a centaur biologically than that she's a centaur socially."
"Centaur/human relationships are always in the news." Damien said. "And there was a couple down the street back on Haegost."
>>
>>23788088
"is that so? hmmm, well then this might present an issue possibly..."
>>
>>23788088
And now our mind is blown.

Well if they happen, there must be a way for a human to win. Do you want me to look into it?

Is it dinner? Hurridly finish our food. I want to try Jilly's advice out in the iso chamber
>>
>>23788088

"It's positive news, right? "love conquers all"?"
>>
>>23788088
"If other people can do it, then you can if you try hard enough! They didn't even have psychic powers."
>>
"It's positive news, right? Love conquers all?"
"Unless you read neohumanist articles, yep." Damien said.
"If other people can do it, then you can, if you try hard enough! They didn't even have psychic powers."
He shrugged, and sighed. He actually looked... troubled.
You go back to eating, and soon enough, you finish your food.
"Mind leading me to my room when you're done eating?" Damien asked. You nod, and put away your meal.
"Sleep well, Heather! And Damien!" Jilly called, and waved, as the two of you made your way out of the room. During the entire walk, Damien was silent, his chin in his hand, eyes closed.
"Thanks." He said, after you stop at his room. He waved as he made his way in. "Glad I set my personacom to work with voice commands, now." He said. "Take care, Heather."
You nod as he closed the door, and then consider what to do next. You have a few hours until it'd be time to sleep.

You make your way back to your dorm, and into the workshop, where you pull off your omnitool, and get to work.

Some time later, tired, with Einstein babbling about light alloy fabrication, you finally put the casing back on. The omnitool whirrs, and then with the press of a button, it synthesizes a simple screw. It wouldn't be as something made of polycarbon, but it would be much better than nothing - or even manifestation.

Sitting back, you decide to take a break, and pull out the book Anna'd given you. You hardly get a chapter in when Summer comes into the workshop, dripping wet. She flopped over onto her side.

"... Hi, Heather." She said. "How was your day today? It feels like we didn't get to talk at all today."

"It's okay." Summer said.
"How was your day? You look frazzled." You say. "Do you need a hand drying off?"
"Yeah, that would be helpful." She said. "I kind of did a lot of manifesting today, so I'm too tired to make myself a manifestation to dry myself."

You grab a towel, and start drying Summer for her.
"It was pretty fun." You say. "Went out to my homeworld, for a little bit of fun in the sun, with Anna!"
"Today was kind of boring for me." Summer said. "It was just the scientists seeing if I could manifest impossible things, like five cornered squares. Sometimes I did it fine, sometimes I didn't."
Then she pouted up at you as you dried her head and ears.
"You should have invited me too." She said, her voice hurt.

"What about guns? Still just going 'bang'?"
"Still just going bang." Summer said. "I know that they shoot bullets, but apparently I just don't know... subconsciously."
"What kind of impossible things can you make? That sounds really cool."
"I can make antimatter." She said. "It's really really really hard, but I was able to make one particle thingy in the spectrometer. I couldn't make the five sided square, or the one sided line, though. And I could make a creature that I'd never seen. They just described it to me and I made it! Then they took its genetics, and apparently it was right! I did a lot of things today."

You take a shower, get dressed in some of your new clothing, and then grab Anna's book, cracking it open. It was full of centaur folk tales, it seemed. One of a woman who, contrary to all of centaur society, fought her own prospective mates, and another who lost their pincers and fought with their rear legs, instead. It seemed that centaur society was simultaniously more savage, and yet more... wise, than you've heard of about ancient human society.

"I wish I could help, Damien."
>>
"I wish I could help, Damien." You say.
He shrugged. "I know. At least this is teaching me more about what I can change and what I can't. Apparently I need to change things... physically. Directly interact with things. Hm, I might want to learn TK after all..."
"Have you tried the isolation chamber?"
"I haven't... but that's actually a good idea." He said. "Though if it doesn't help, then I'm pretty much going to be stuck in isolation without clairvoyance."
>>
>>23789811
"If it doesn't help, try to focus inward. Maybe you'll get a breakthrough with another power instead."
>>
>>23789811
"That would be bad, don't set the time up high if you do it.

Something you might be able to do with TK that the rest of us couldn't given how precise you are is to use it a bit like echolocation, just have a very gentle push of TK coming from you and 'feel' everything around you."
>>
>>23789811
"Yeah, that might suck...well, you're gonna have to try something, so might as well just pick something."
>>
>>23789811
just start slowly just like the first time
>>
>>23789834
Oh man, this.
>>
"Yeah, that might suck." You say. "Well... you're gonna have to try something, so might as well pick something. If it doesn't help, try to focus inward. Maybe you'll get a breakthrough with another power instead."
"The more you say, the better an idea this is." He said.
"Something you might be able to do with TK that the rest of us couldn't given how precise you are is to use it a bit like echolocation, just have a very gentle push of TK coming from you and 'feel' everything around you."
"Yeah, but TK doesn't give me any feedback." Damien said. "It moves, and I feel more tired, but I don't get anything back from it. That's one of the ways I'm not very good with it."
>>
>>23789895
"Well, scratch that idea then, if it gave tactile feedback it'd work. Maybe try internalizing a combination of Clairvoyance and Telekenesis, if Jilly is right and Distance doesn't matter with some practice you could mess with anything you saw with TK."
>>
>>23789895
"Not by itself, but you could probably train it to function like that. Another goal to work towards."
>>
>>23789895
"Hmmm, well, that might change when you get better so keep it in mind at least."
>>
>>23789895
Einstein, lead Damien around until he gets his sight back. He's a loyal henchman, and loyal henchmen injured protecting their master should be looked after. Forward any messages to my personacom.
>>
"Well, scratch that idea then, if it gave tactile feedback it'd work. Maybe try internalizing a combination of Clairvoyance and Telekenesis, if Jilly is right and Distance doesn't matter with some practice you could mess with anything you saw with TK."
"... I don't even have clairvoyance." Damien said. "That's what happens, and that's why I can't see right now. When I directly change the future, I lose all of my clairvoyance. It's like... my mind is punishing me for meddling, or something."
He sighed, and went back to eating.
"I did get my personacom to read things aloud for me, though, so I won't be incapacitated in class."

Let's go in the isolation chambers later for training.
>>
>>23790101
>>23786997 >Hovering behind you, steepling his manipulators and cackling in a dastardly way, was Einstein.

Thankfully this is not the case.
>>
"Einstein, lead Damien around until he gets his sight back." You say. "Forward any messages to my personacom."
"What a devious plan! I shall carry it out to the letter, mistress!" Einstein said, cackling.
"... He's going to get on my nerves." Damien mumbled.

Soon enough, breakfast was done, all of you made your way to classes (summer coming late, having slept in too long), and then classes were out a few scant hours later.

"Heather?" Dr. Manus asked, after class was over. "If it's possible, I'd like to talk about if you wanted to specialize or develop anything.
>>
>>23790190
"Actually, I was considering trying to do some manifestation."
>>
>>23790190

Maybe work in some of Jilly's insights into Telepathy with our Technopathy? Maybe have a session or two with the researcher she works with.

It'd be a great way for her to get some screentime. Poor neglected nagala.
>>
>>23790190
"I think I'm going to focus on technopathy for now, it's the one unique power I bring to the table, and it has a lot of potential uses to me."
>>
>>23790190
Of course Dr Manus!

I'd like to deveolop some basic Manifestation, for spare parts for my building projects, and due to the way my technopathy works, it seems like a good idea to look into telepathy a little more.

Also, I accidentally drained myself to passing out when I tried to start up a machine due to inadvertently using Pyrokinesis, so knowing a little about it and what it is and when I use it would be a good idea, I think.
>>
>>23790190
"Considering Technopathy seems to be a specialized application of Telepathy, I should probably work on my Telepathy. And I'd also like to do a little bit of work on Pyrokineses and Manifestation. At least enough to get a handle on them."
>>
>>23790245
We probably shouldn't specialise in it and make our TK useless though. We have good TK.
>>
"Of course, Dr. Manus." You say. "I'd like to develop some basic Manifestation, for spare parts for my building projects, and due to the way my Technopathy works, it seems like a good idea to look into Telepathy more. Also, I accidentally drained myself to passing out when I tried to start up a machine due to inadvertently using Pyrokinesis, so knowing a little about it and what it is and when I use it would be a good idea, I think." You say.
"Well..." He said, thinking. "Let me talk to my sister to see if we can use Anna's pyrokinesis room, and right now we're repairing Summer's manifestation chamber after her three knights broke most of it." He said. "We have a few assistants that help with Jilly quite a bit, so they're used to being subjects for telepathy."
He tapped his chin. "You might also want to touch up on TK after a few days, to make sure you don't get rusty. As for your vitals... you're actually looking rather healthy, lately, especially after you returned from wherever you went with Anna several days ago, despite being exhausted."
>>
>>23790342
"A nice outing does wonders for your health!"
>>
>>23790342
"I did just stop by home yesterday, got some fresh air and sunshine, that's probably it."

"I suppose we should get to the experiments, then?"
>>
"I did just stop by home yesterday, got some fresh air and sunshine, that's probably it." You say, and flash him a smile. "Holidays are amazingly refreshing."
"Actually, I was talking about saturday, not yesterday." He says - he doesn't seem to notice your smile. "Oh, Also! Max brought forth some concerns, and well... we're not officially condoning or banning anything, but if you happen to, er, ingest anything in particular, it would be best if you made sure to wear the biometric wrist scanner. It's not an occasion for a full sensor suit, though. Just... make sure to stay in station."
>>
>>23790342
"Yeah a little Journey home to go shopping and swimming is really refreshing. Maybe we should go for a road trip."
>>
>>23790494
"Ah yeah, speaking of that...how about catnip for Summer?"
>>
>>23790494
"I wouldn't have imagined Max to be a bigger stickler for the rules than you, to be honest. I'm glad though, sensor suits would have...ruined it a bit, I think."
>>
>>23790494
Don't worry, we'll be careful not to do anything too silly where someone could get hurt.
>>

>>23790545

>>
>>23790517
This.
>>
"I don't really take it off, except for Iso." You say, and raise your wrist, where the sensor sat. "And I wouldn't have imagined Max to be a bigger stickler for the rules than you, to be honest."
"Max retains his instincts, and the thought of someone under his... command, so to speak, breaking a rule... Instincts." He said, and shrugged.
"Ah, yeah, speaking of that... how about catnip for summer?"
Manus froze, and tapped his chin.
"... I'll have to talk to her counselor about that, but I suspect that ... well, we don't know how catnip affects an uplifted tiger in the first place." Dr. Manus said. "So it won't be much help to us. But the UPA doesn't have any rules or laws on catnip, so if she's willing to requisition them, she can."
>>
>>23790606
It was going to be a surprise, because I wasn't sure if alcohol would work for her. Do you have any personal advice?

"It was going to be a surprise, because I wasn't sure if alcohol would work for her. do you have any personal advice?"
He took off his glasses and slipped them into his pocket, sitting down sideways on Anna's chair.
"Well, I don't know if I can give you any *good* advice, but if you want it, I'll give what I can. What do you need advice on?"
>>

Giggle at that line. "Oh, come on, what makes you think you'll give bad advice? You're a man of SCIENCE, after all!"

can't decide so here's a list.

I think Alex might be interested in me, and I don't feel the same way about him, he's always been a friend.

Anna's been acting very suspicious, do you think there's something behind it?

Sarvesh said some things in the alternate future that I am not comfortable with

Summer is so fluffy! How do I get more of that?

So how can I get along better with Max? I feel as though I'm always toeing a razor thin line.

>>
>>23790865
>I don't feel the same way about him

Those are pretty obviously biased questions.

>Anna: Acting suspicious
>Sarvesh: Not comfortable with him
>Summer: So fluffy!

"I was thinking of building a spaceship, but I'm not sure if the workshop is ideal for that. Do you think it'll work, or have an idea of alternate locations?"
"Well, the workshop is probably fine for making individual parts, but you'd run into trouble assembling it. I can see if I can get one of the shuttle bays near the hub emptied out and clear for you." He said, and chuckled.

"And I'm worried about exploring the Ishelda, Doctor. Do you think it's worth it?"
"Well... Something happened there, and you showed up there at your dream... and Anna's clairvoyance at Heaven's Jewel... Now, I'm not superstitious, but psions play merry hell with coincidence." He said. "Despite that... you don't have to go if you don't want to. You could simply forget it, and not go at all. let it continue it's orbit around the galaxy to parts unknown."
"And how can I get along better with Max?" You ask. "I feel as though I'm always toeing a razor thin line."
Manus sighed, and rubbed at his eyes. "Max... is a wild animal. He's.,. intelligent, and can speak, and he tries to be as kind as possible, but he has instincts that he has to conquer every day. He has his triggers, but they're few in numbers. Just... try to understand him, at the least."

"Thanks, Doctor." You say. "If there's anything you want me to pick up whilst I'm planetside, just ask."
"Oh, I'll be fine." He said. Thanks for offering."
"How did Max come to be uplifted anyway?"
"Pax Animalis." Manus said. "A small terrorist group devoted on uplifting all life, captured as many animals on a remote Titan reservation, and uplifted as many as they could, with makeshift materials and technology. Max was the only successful uplift there - the rest were dead and dying at the time he gained consciousness."
>>

"That's awful! How did the others die, from mistakes or malfunctions during uplifting?"
>>

Jaw drop, shake head. "What the hell is wrong with them?"
>>
>>23791072

"That's horrible!" You say, and he nodded. "What the hell is wrong with them?"
"They're insane." Manus said, and sighed.
"Do you have any plans what to do with us in the future? I mean, one day our 'school' will end, right? What will happen after that?"
Dr. Manus shrugged again. "That's entirely up to you. We won't keep you unless you want to stay, and if you do, I believe the Director will have jobs for all of you. In fact, you could likely find a job at any UPA facility rather easily."

>>
"Thank you for the chat, Dr. Manus." You say, and stand up.
"Not a problem." He said.
"I think I'll go get some isolation chamber time in." You say.
"Alright." He said, with a nod. "I'll see if I can requisition some catnip on short notice, talk to Neva, and get that shuttle bay emptied. Have a good one, Heather."

You made your way outside, and all the way down the ramps to the very rim of the station, where the gravity made it hard to walk.

You find Damien in front of his chamber, having Einstein read out the terminal for him.
"Fifteen minutes. Thirty minutes." Einstein said, and Damien stopped punching in numbers.
Then he took his shirt off. He was much, much more muscular than you'd thought he'd be.
>>
>>23791270

"So, how's my nefarious assistant been, Damien?"
>>
>>23791270
"Hi, Damien. Nice abs."

>>23791270

>>23791270

>>
>>23791315

how about no.
>>
"You're supposed to use the curtain for that, you know!" You say, and he jumps. "Nice abs."
"Haegost has high gravity, and I was raised there. Hence the extra muscle." He said. "Also, I'm blind. I can't even see the curtain, except to push it out of the way."
"So, how's my nefarious assistant been, Damien?"
"Mildly irritating, until I got used to him." Damien said.
>>
>>23791270
"Damien? Do you lift?"
>>
>>23791323
I think we can consider this just Heather doing some lighthearted flirtation, not an admission of husbando status.

This is the problem with waiting on the poll, any time anyone says anything even vaguely flirty to anyone people start vetoing and freaking out.
>>
>>23791323
I think this is perfectly acceptable flirting. We are, after all, a teenage girl.
>>
>>23791350
>lighthearted flirtation,
exactly why I objected. She hasn't been doing that now, and it only leads to the casual sex/harem route some want.

>>
>>23791329
"Do you work out here too? You know it would be a shame to lose all those muscles."

>>
>>23791389

>>
>>23791364
You know there's a pretty big gap between lighthearted flirtation and sleeping around.
>>
>>23791378
Seriously, we're a teenage girl, not a hardcore puritan. Flirting is perfectly acceptable, especially when the other characters are also teenagers.
>>
>>23791410
it's a slippery slope
>>
>>23791329
"You can switch the dastardly personality off if you want. Anyway, I'm going to get some chamber time in too, so I'll just be over here, taking my clothes off."
>>
>>23791421
Yeah, okay.
Have you ever been to highschool? People flirt and sleep around all the time without having to be in a permanent relationship. And this is the future, where shit's even more open.
>>
>>23791421
Next she'll be asking to go the dance unchaperoned!
>>
>>23791391
Not the guy you're replying to, but it's the worst fucking route. It's easy mode, and shits on the characters something fierce. I hate it every single time it happens in a quest/story unless it's already pure porn.
>>
>>23791428
This. this is what we should say.
>>
>>23791446
What a whore.
Quick, let's go stone her in the square for being such a wanton slut. DURKA DURKA!
>>
>>23791421

>used seriously in any context anywhere.
Sure man, you keep doing that. How about you adopt a trip so we can shame you off the board? Or at least I'd be able to filter you.
>>
>>23791421
Yup, first she's making eyes, next thing you know she's asking to be choked out while being tripple-penetrated by hermaphroditic uplifts in a pool of jell-o.

Damn that slippery slope.
>>
"Have you had him tie any maidens to railroad tracks? I couldn't find any tracks."
"I would, but the only maidens here are a tiger, the most terrifying person I know, and you." Damien said.
"Well, you can switch the dastardly personality off if you want." you say. "Anyway, I'm going to get some chamber time in too. So I'll be just over here, taking my clothes off."
"... Goddamnit, Heather." He said, and you made your way behind the curtain, pulling it shut.

You quickly removed your clothes, set the timer to half an hour, and climbed in.

And suddenly you were infitesimal. Surrounded by trillions of trillions of bits of technology - the UPA tech nearby, and then the further you go, the stranger it gets.
