Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another edition of Succubus Quest!

Last time we had a small discussion with Amanda, regarding Erika and her new changes and to deal with a teenage existential crisis. After that, you went over to check up on how the Adventuring Group that Janine brainwashed for you is doing and also to chuckle at Erika’s new training of her stumbling into things. After that, we went over to the Red Fox Inn to meet our friends for the night for the local PnP game.

We now continue where we left off!

“The werewolves were a rather interesting thing.” Roger states as he takes a bite of a big leg.

“Yea... Honestly they were the best I could do on short notice.” you mention as you begin cutting apart your own meat. You’re having the after game meal with the rest of your friends, being a bit careful to avoid wincing due to your stab wound in the shoulder.

“Working hard lately?” Leo asks.

“...Yea you can say that. Another major reason has to do with... Well you know.” you say gesturing to your body as you take a bite of meat. Tastes rather sweet compared to the spice the adamant door has.

“I’d image the expenses would be problematic.” Brock replies.

You roll your eyes as you swallow your meat. “Don’t get me started. The amount of money women’s underwear costs is absurd. Secondly there’s the fact I need to get some more women’s clothing. God forbid I head to my job wearing actual pants.”

“Dresses that problematic?” Roger asks.

“Again, I’m surprised women put up with it. I can still feel the cold air on my legs when walking around. Hell, whenever I get inside I usually have to covertly rub my legs in order to warm them up!” You complain.

“Didn’t you say you were adjusting earlier though?” Tristen asks while taking a sip of wine. He usually preferred wine to other alcoholic beverages when he could help it.

“Oh yea. As I said in the bar, I vastly prefer this over other fates, such as being turned into a slime or killed.” you say.

“Exactly. While you will always still be Brooklyn, the physical body you do have could’ve been hampered in other ways.” Brock says.
>>
[2/2]

“Exactly.” you say pointing your pigs leg at Brock. “It’s just the... minor differences I guess. I’m still not used to how my tits bounce every time I take a step. I also miss just wrapping the towel around my waist in the bath house. The little things. ...Out of curiosity Leo, you said you had a job at one of the mercenary barracks?”

“Yea, the Soaring Hawks needed someone to sort out and organize their history. They wanted an expert to organize in chronological order so... I asked for the job and got it.” Leo replies.

Roger chuckles as he takes bite out of his leg. “Having fun organizing nearly 250 years of military history?”

“No. Especially when that history is written by people who seem to barely know how to write at times. The payment is what I’m after. ...The discount for wanting a guard in front of my house being a second.” Leo states. “I did meet a few interesting people in the companies though. Job’s worth it just for the contacts alone... Almost anyways.”

While I’m waiting, I may as well clarify some difference between Old T.O. vs New T.O. I’ll admit that sometimes even I forget the difference and sometimes have myself getting confused. So I’ll just explain this here and make this explanation canon persay.

Old TO is basically the ruins of a great city from the Old World, the exact same one that Miyu fought in during her flashback. At the moment it is currently one of the two major economical centers for all of Canada since it and one other location has access to the portals, the only safe and easy way in and out of the country. Despite being a post-apocalyptic city, it has a thriving population. Many Succubi live here simply because it was the capital of the Demon Queens back when they were in power. It is no secret that people know that Succubi are there, but Ada and the Queens suspect that is mainly for the Pride Demons to keep tabs on a large concentration of Succubi. Permanent Pride Demon Knights take residence in this city, at least three of them.

New TO is the new unofficial capital of Canada (The real one being Blizzarios’s palace, but no sane person goes there). These are the places where the Succubi “re-education” centers are in addition to the palace where all the paperwork is processed. Three Demon Knights and a Lord are stationed here at all times.

Nothing more here.

>>
>>23790273
Ask the rest of them how they've been. Ask if they've heard anything interesting lately and see how the current 'political' situation and the recent attack at the palace are being taken by the population at large, what the running theories for what happened are.

“That’s it for me for the night then.” you say chipping in your single gold coin for the meal payment. “I’ll see ya guys later.”

“Later Brooklyn.” all your friends say as you head out.

When you make your way back to your house, you notice that neither Mina nor Brodin are there in the house. Mina is probably out doing a late night party and Brodin... That should be obvious.

You give a large yawn as you take off your clothes and climb under your covers, preparing to get a bit of sleep. You’re going to be sleeping in a bit for the next day. After all the crap you’ve been through, you’ve damn well earned a long rest.

******

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

You’re awoken from your sleep the next morning by several loud knocks on the door. Glancing over at your clock, you can see that it is about 9:47 AM.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

“Quit it...” Brodin mumbles while laying on your rug in front of the fireplace.

“Just a minute!” you call out as you put on some trousers and a vest before heading over to open the door.

“I was wondering when you’d open the door.” Ada says as she stands on the other end.

“Sorry about that, I was sleeping in. Though by all means, please come in.” you say inviting Ada into your house. You summon a soligram butler to begin making some tea for the both of you. “So what brings you all the way to my little abode?”

“A good news bad news situation my dear.” Ada replies to you as she sits down in your study chair.

“What’s the sitrep?” you ask. Fort Hope often uses military slang for their own slang at times.

“Good news is that I’m finished earlier than I thought. If need be I can kill off Langy starting from tomorrow.” Ada’s face appears to be a bit worried.
>>
>>23790877
Irony.
>>
[2/2]

“...There’s a catch to this isn’t it? I can see it in your face.” you tell Ada.

“Yes. Ever since the... incident, Langy has retreated to the bunker below his castle.” Ada says.

“...The Old World one.” you say.

“The Old World *Military* bunker.” Ada corrects you. “It is a bunker that Langy has sole control over. Nobody but Langy has been in the deeper levels of the bunker, so I have literally no idea what could be down there.”

“...How can Langy pull this off? I’m surprised he was able to move.” you reply to Ada.

“Langy is a Hemomancer my dear, Blood Controller. He burned most of his aether healing himself and anyone surviving who was injured in your attack. He doesn’t have much aether but... the bunker is what worries me.” Ada replies.

“So are you saying you need some help with this?” you ask.

“Oh heavens no! I think I am more than capable!” Ada says. “...Just that I have no idea what to expect down there. I mainly come seeking advice. I could either bide my time and prepare for anything Langy could throw at us or I could press an attack sooner and hopefully catch him off guard.”

You lean against the side of the wall, thinking hard about what kind of advice you could offer Ada...

A) Tell Ada to do it now. (Langy will be resolved sooner)

B) Tell Ada you’d rather take your time and prepare for anything he could throw at you (You’d be more prepared. Brooklyn could most likely learn another control or raise Light/Darkness/Suggestion to Great! level. Erika will be able to properly take part in the battle. Chance for a route split where you can work out the potential problem with the Priest that hired the adventurers, with an ability to play as either Mina or Erika for the short plot arc if desired (Picking one would result in them learning things faster, Brooklyn remains home). Note this route split can also be done after Langy as well.

a), surprise attack before Langly can beg or hire reinforcements. Short discussion with Miyu on bunkers if possible
>>
[1/2]

“You’ve been planning this for years Ada, don’t screw up and act rashly just when the goal is in sight. It’s better to build up our resources beforehand.” you tell here.

“Very well. I’ll pass my time preparing for the event. I’m a bit low on aether myself. Filling up my reserves would be a good thing to do before then, that and seeing if I can get a mercenary group on my side after I take control.” Ada says accepting tea from the soligram, she’s about to take a sip before she stops herself. “Do you know what could be in an Old World Bunker?”

You simply shrug as you sip your tea. “That’s the problem. Fort Hope was one of the last bases in Canada that originally fell, and that was because Langy’s ancestor sold out the base for his own gain. As a result the bunker is still largely intact. Iron Golems are almost certainly a given, in addition to things such as aetheric sensors, traps, and other things. As for what could be down there... That’s like asking what I could find in the Old TO marketplace. There are literally too many things to guess.”

“So I’d be going in blind...” Ada says with a worried expression.

“Essentially yes. You might glean some information just by looking at the Fort’s walls. They’re made out of a substance that was made during the height of the Old World, walls that haven’t really been replicated. I will admit it is the same as looking at a piece of coal to guess how a diamond would look though.” you admit as you sip your tea. “I’m sorry I can’t be of any more use on the subject. Perhaps Miyu may have a better idea?”

“Yes. Either her, Janette, or Janine. One of them should know.” Ada replies as she takes a sip of her tea. “Fret not about not knowing such information. It is a rather difficult question. Regardless I should be able to sneak in when the time comes. It won’t be my first time going into an area completely blind.”
>>
[2/2]

“Just be careful. Last thing we need is for you to die before your dream is completed.” you tell her.

“Tell me about it.” Ada replies as she finishes her tea.

“Another cup?” you ask as the butler offers her a kettle.

“No thank you. I don’t mean to drink and run, but I’ve got other business to attend to.” Ada says putting the cup down on your study.

“Not at all.” you say as you have the butler open the door for her.

“Have a good day Brooklyn.” Ada says giving a small wave as she leaves the house.

“Have a good day Ada.” you reply as you finish off your own tea.

Now... You’ve finally got an entire day all to yourself again. After passing your cup to the soligram butler, you fall back on your bed, feeling your tits jiggle as you stare at the ceiling. Something like a bath could sound nice. Hell a good bath sounds always nice. You could see if you could locate Mina, she probably hasn’t gone that far. Or some training. Training either your natural skills or magics is never really a waste right? Or maybe seeing how Leona may be doing after some time. If you’re lucky, you may catch both of them at the bath house even.

“...Wait a second.” you say getting up out of the bed, a thought running across your head. You walk over to the mirror and let your demonic traits out. While your horns are still not nearly as big as Mina’s or Ada’s, your tail and wings appear to be just as healthy and full as either Ada or Mina’s. Does that mean... You can actually attempt to fly now if you attempted to do so? That’s one more additional thing you could train for if you wanted to...

>>
>>23792084

I understand your concerns, and I do sympathize... But it's tea! Tea, our one true love. How could you turn your back on your one true love like that?
>>
[1/2]

As you look over to your fireplace to throw some more logs onto it, you notice that you’re nearly out of firewood. This is bad. Very bad. Without firewood you’re not going to be able to drink anymore tea.

...Oh, and freezing to death too.

...Wait! Ada! She always goes around in those street urchin clothes when outside the castle! If you wore that kind of clothing, you’d probably freeze to death. But Ada seems immune to the cold because of her water control! In fact, seeing as that you’re surrounded by snow literally everywhere you go, learning it seems like a great idea!

“...Why not.” you say as you grab a nearby cup of water and fill it up. You sit it still on your desk, hands outstretched towards the class as you concentrate on moving the water at first. You figure that’s a fair first step even for someone starting out in water control.

For the next few hours, you begin to concentrate your aether into the glass ahead of you on the table. For a while it feels as if you’re doing nothing but wasting your own aether.

But then you can hear it. The cup rattling. You’re barely able to hear it over Brodin’s breathing, but you do hear it.

Sweat rolls down the side of your head as you continue to pour aether into the glass. The glass begins to rattle louder and louder. You furrow your brows as y-

“TADIMA!” Mina nearly screams as she throws open the door to your hour.

You nearly jump out of your chair, tipping the class over in the progress and pouring water all over your clothes. “...Ah... Crap...”

“...Something wrong Brooklyn?” Mina asks, looking worried as she takes off her scarf.

“N-nothing’s wrong no.” you say wiping off your shirt. “...What’s with you? You look like you’re on cloud nine.”

“Oh! That’s because I had a GREAT time last night!” Mina says throwing her hands up into the air. “There was lots of singing and dancing and food... Oh it was just perfect!”
>>
[2/2]

...A small pang of feelings builds up inside of you. Knowing Mina she probably did ‘that’ as well, and what makes you somewhat annoyed is that she wasn’t like that the day after your nights with her...

No... No it can’t be like that. Mina just sees such a thing as play with other people. It shouldn’t matter too much... Right?

Regardless, now that Mina’s here you can talk to her about other things if you want. (Time: 11:40 AM. You’re free to vote on what to do next)

“Anyways, what are we going to do now?” Mina asks you.

“I mainly wanted to use this day to get some training done. With all the chaos that’s been going on lately, I haven’t had any real time to train up my skills.” you say.

“If you want, you could always come with me on my morning exercises.” Mina offers.

“...I’d die before I was even a third of the way through them, but thank you for the offer.” you tell Mina, summoning up a pool of darkness tentacles around yourself. “Besides, this is how Okarians often train anyways.”

“Hm... You have a point... But don’t forget your basic skills! Remember that all the magic in the world doesn’t help you if you cannot learn how to dodge or roll with an attack!” Mina warns.

“Noted.” you say as you use a darkness tentacle to poke at the fireplace safely. “But for now, some non-physical training is good due to my shoulder.”

“...Oh yea! You also got stabbed too! Yea I guess this is a good time for me to train as well!” Mina says clapping her hands.

And for the next few hours you and Mina calmly begin to use some training. It feels like this next level of it will take some more time than just a few days, as you definitely don’t feel like breaking through into the next level with it as of yet. Still, no harm in still training in it for the time being.

(Sandact realized Mina has skills at good but with no extra! Select one from a list of extras he made up on the spot for one unique skill!
>>
A) Fists of Adamant: Mina’s fists become supernaturally tough, enabling her to safely hit things that would otherwise be lethal to most other people. Mina suffers no damage for hitting things that would be considered hazardous (AKA: Punching a lava golem would cause no harm). This applies to all punching attacks. (Genbu Godan base)

B) Stunner: By increasing the cost to medium, Mina is able to use this attack to stun the enemy. Stunned enemies have a lower stats all around, and if the enemy rolls very poorly on the stun resist roll, they may be knocked out entirely. (Genbu Godan base)

C) Linebreaker punch: By focusing her power carefully for the right moment, Mina can use her own opponents as weapons. For an extra bit of aether when using Byakko Ko, Mina can punch a target and make everyone behind that target in a certain range subject to her attack. (Byakko Ko base)

D) Ricepaper World: With the knowledge of the world being inherently breakable, one learns how to apply this principle to their fists. Mina’s attacks ignore a very large portion of an inanimate objects armour, to the point where she can casually write her name in solid bedrock with her fingers. Always on. (Byakko Ko base)

ALSO MENTION WHAT YOU WISH TO DO NEXT. CAPS TO GET ATTENTION. When you're done training, it is about 2:16 PM. Don't forget Brooklyn has his clothing to pick up. Also remember his aether use (training uses Aether, ATM Brooklyn has 50% total aether, as listed on his sheet)

Alright, I guess this is more of a question of "How long do you want to keep training for?" Keep in mind each hour of training takes 10% of your aether for good, solid training. At most you could go at five hours. But remember the last time Brooklyn was at 0% aether and how he acted.

Alright, I think I'm getting a picture here. I'm going to ask if the following is acceptable, lest I be ripped apart by the collective userbase.

How about I automate Brooklyn's training over the next few days. He'll continue training and gathering food (mostly by bath house or bar) and going to his job as per normal.

Meanwhile, we can switch to the Priest arc. You can select either Brooklyn, Mina, or Erika to play as during it. (If Brooklyn, you'd need an excuse to go along. You wouldn't lose anything other than being Brooklyn). Feel free to vote on either being Mina or Erika for this event and I'll see about kicking it off.

Of course if you want me to ignore this idea, then feel free to say so and I'll make Brooklyn do something like get his clothes, running into Leona and Amanda with their shenanigans in the process.

Or something else entirely, your call.

[1/4]

“Now are you sure you’re ready for this?” Sebastien asks you.

“I’m going to need to test out my skills in battle sooner or later.” you say standing up. You look around the old world building that has been your home for nearly the past few days, all of it being a multicoloured blur, and overlay of what the very aether of the world itself looks like.

“Good, as if I just finished this armour for nearly nothing then I would’ve been pissed.” Sebastien grumbles as he puts away his needle, cutting the last piece of string with his knife.

You walk over as you look at the suit, noticing that calling it rough would... certainly be an understatement. The suit is made out of spare patches and tape that Sebastien normally uses to repair his own suit. You’re shocked that a commoner would wear this, let alone a noble like yourself!

“Would... Would this armour work Sir Sebastien?” you ask him as you pick up the armour.

“Hm... It’s a patchwork job. While it isn’t as sturdy as my own suit and lacks the enhancements, the protection and heating elements should still be intact. Don’t let the thickness of the material fool you, it should stop a bullet or a few knife attacks.” Sebastien says to you. “Hopefully it’ll be your correct size as well.”

“Oh don’t worry about that sir Sebastien! I can alter the fit of my clothing using my shapechange ability.” you happily reply to him as you take the suit over to behind a nearby changing screen.
>>
[2/4]

As you begin to change, you begin to reflect over the last few days of training. Sir Sebastien wasn’t kidding about the training being hard. Indeed, just learning how to move around the world using aetheric sight is disorienting enough. Sir Sebastien has even forbidden you to remove the cloth around your eyes! You can’t even read your novels anymore! But... It is Sir Sebastien who is training you after all, and his guidance has led you to develop your skills in a remarkably short period of time. ...Indeed, you’re far stronger than you would’ve ever dreamed to be. It scares you in a way, but so long as you’re using your powers for noble ends, you’re sure that ambition will never grab a hold of you.

The armour is a bit of an awkward fit at first, but after shapeshifting yourself to be bigger than back to your natural self, you can feel the armour snugly fit around your entire body. It is mostly form fitting, though a bit chafing in some other areas. Though Sir Sebastien correct about the warming feature. As even wearing the armour it feels as if you’re wearing a fine winter’s coat. After grabbing your PSI saber and attaching it to your arm alongside your revolver, you step out into the open once more.

“I-Is this good Sir Sebastien?” you ask as you come out.

“You look great kid.” Sebastien says taking one last drag of his cigarette before putting his helmet on. “Now come on, we’ve got to be meeting Brooklyn and the others now.”

“Right away Sir Sebastien.” you say as you run over to him.

“...And turn off the light when you go.” Sebastien says reminding you.

Oops! You almost forgot! This aetheric vision makes it hard for you to tell when the light is actually on. You use your telekinetic powers to reach out and turn off the light before exiting the building with Sir Sebastien.

******
>>
[3/4]

“So where are we meeting up with Sir Brooklyn and his company Sir Sebastien?” you ask as you walk through the snowy environment. The harsh blizzard from the weekend has thankfully died out quite a bit.

“...I see him over there on the horizon now.” Sebastien says pointing out about half a dozen large aether signatures over off in the distance.

“Oh! Lady Brooklyn! Lady Mina!” You call out as you begin to hop through the snow at a faster pace in order to meet up with.

“Erika!” Mina calls out to you as she runs up to you, wrapping her arms around you and giving you a spinning hug. “Wow! You sure look different!”

“...No kidding. Will that armour even work?” Brooklyn asks as she looks at your armour.

“Hey, I only wear robes myself.” Brodin replies.

“Trust me, the armour is more than capable.” Sebastien says to the group, reassuring them all.

“Ha ha! Still wearing that blindfold?” Alex the warrior asks.

“...Wait... How are you moving around and know that we were even here?” Uilosdir asks you as he shifts his glasses.

“I... learned a technique that allows me to see an aetheric imprint of the world. It allows me to see in the dark and through minor obstructions, but it is still disorienting to see the entire world as if someone just splashed paint all over it.” Erika replies.

“...Uh... Interesting...” Brooklyn mutters to herself.

“Now are you sure with us all leaving you alone for a few days Brooklyn?” Mina asks Brooklyn.

Brooklyn just waves his hand. “Yes I’ll be fine. If anything this will let me catch up on some work I’ve been meaning to do. If anything else I should ask you all to be careful and not get yourselves killed.”

“Oh I’ll be fine.” Brodin says.

“Oh don’t worry Brooklyn! We’ll be fine!” Mina says taking her hands.

“...Promise?” Brooklyn asks her.
>>
[4/4]

“Promise.” Mina replies, before both of them leaning in to give Brooklyn a big hug, which she happily returns.

>>
>>23795265
We have enough power stored in the gemelli queen to transform two people. Shifting that power around would take around a week.
>>
Ok, we should check the time frame on that and weigh it against the relative timeframe,e of that method, the loss of training time it would necessitate for Erika and Mina, and the potential loss of combat experience from capturing stronger foes (demons).
>>
>>23795265
The gemilli queens have enough power to transform yes.
The power isn't stored in some neutral contained that they can just chose how to use.
If we want to transform Amanda right now, we would have to transfer power from the gemili queen to Miya. And that will take a long while.
So no, right now we can only transform the twins. We need to gather more for power for Amanda.
>>
I honestly have no idea why we would be in a hurry to transform Amanda. We just transformed Erika! Let things settle down a bit! Also, when the time finally does come to transform her, I'd much rather use new offerings then lose the chance to transform the twins, who are much cuter then Amanda no matter how you look at it.
>>
>>23795443
>then lose the chance to transform the twins,
uh that won't happen? The queens that transform them are set and waiting. We just need to convince the twins about it. (which is entirely a different thing)
>>
>>23795443
I think people are in a hurry to transform Amanda because we want to be able to quit our job. And Amanda will certainly agree to basically work for us if we turn her into a succubi and help her gain control of her family.

“Is it time to be off then?” you ask the group.

“We have to get moving if we want to reach the town before sundown yes.” Troy replies as he adjusts his cloak.

“Be sure that you’re all safe out there.” Brooklyn says once again.

“Oh! Sir Brooklyn! If you don’t mind, can you please check up on Leona and Amanda while we’re gone? I... I was hoping to visit them before we went on this trip an-”

Brooklyn cuts you off by waving her hand. “I understand completely Erika. I’ll see if I can do something like a minor drop off involving them while you guys are on the road.”

“Thank you so much Lady Brooklyn.” you say giving a small bow in front of her.

“Think nothing of it!” Brooklyn happily replies.

“...What of the Paladin?” Sebastien asks.

“Ada says that Articus asked Langy to... extract some information from him. Needless to say he’ll be busy for the next few days.” you reply.

You shudder as you know what that phrase means. That poor man...

“The kid has a point. We’re going to need to hurry if we’re going to make it to the town before the dead of night.” Sebastien says before turning it around.

“See ya Brooklyn!” “Bye Brooklyn!” “See ya Brooklyn!” you all say your goodbyes as you begin to walk away from Brooklyn.

“Good luck guys!” Brooklyn waves back while standing in the middle of the snowy wonderland.

While riding in the horse and carriage on the way to the town, you cannot help but admit the Fort Hope walls that seem to dwarf you as you look over their white, majestic walls. You then have a thought, and try to message Mina.

(“Mina. Can you hear me? I’d like to inquire about a few things.”) you try to say to her, but only gain no response in kind. Most likely she’s not getting your messages. You’re still used to telepathy, so trying to pry into unwilling minds is a bit tricky for you to do.
>>
[2/2]

“Mina, can you open your mind a bit?” you ask her.

“Hm? Open my mind?” Mina asks you, her aura turning into a dark blue (suspicious). “Uh... I think it may be open now...”

(“Good. I wanted to talk to you like this for a bit.”) you tell her.

(“Oh yea! I forgot that you were an Ayarian and you can do that kind of thing!”) (“What did she want to talk about?”) (“...I wish I had telepathic powers...”) (“You can bench press a wagon, why should that worry you?”) (“Even through his armour I can see that Alex has a good ass... Oh ho~.”) All of Mina’s thoughts seem to come at you at once. Sebastien told you this happens during telekinetic reading, in that sometimes you’ll also pick up the idle banter of the mind.

(“I wanted to ask you about Lady Brooklyn. She appears to be leader of this small band of ours. I’m personally wondering why you yourself accept her as the leader of this group? I mean I heard a lot about Demons only respecting strength, and you do seem to be a lot stronger than her... Not to say I don’t respect her as well! But I’m curious about your reasons.”) you say to Mina.

(“Eh... The Okarian fault makes me worry for Brooklyn in battle.”) (“Yea I could probably crush Brooklyn like a twig... It always makes me so nervous when I’m with him!”) (“Oh the way he cuddles up to me after our sessions is so cute!”) (“...I guess that’s a true rumour huh? What makes me attracted to Brooklyn is...”) (“Hope?”) (“A sense of hope. He seems a bit... off at times, but he always has the heart of people in his mind. He knows what his ideals are, and even though he has never told me them, I know that he is a champion of justice and righteousness as am I!”) Mina says.

We've been offered money multiple times while teaching the nobles and we've turned it down every time. We've got Ada about to control the whole freaking town, and you know she'd support us. I don't see us ever having any money problems, so that reason really makes no sense.

We don't control Ada. Some people, especially me want a power base independent of her because we don't trust her to follow our lead, especially if we just give her all the political power without coming to some sort of understanding.

I SEE NO PROBLEM WITH NOT GIVING A FUCK ABOUT FORT HOPE WE'RE AIMING BIGGER ANYWAYS

That is because people are protesting the attitude to take with Ada (like we must give her something in order to earn her trust, treating her like she will betray if we don't bribe her). Rather then just talk honestly like friends.

(“Why do you refer to Lady Brooklyn as a male at times?”) you ask.

(“Shit!”) (“I guess... Probably that he reminds me of my mentor quite a bit. He acted quite similar to Brooklyn, albeit with a slightly stronger sense of justice!”) Mina tells you.

(“What about her strength?”) you ask.

(“Laughable.”) (“That’s only the physical strength though.”) (“Okarian.”) (“She still hardly knows how to use an axe worth a damn.”) (“Brooklyn isn’t that physically strong. In all likelihood nearly any one of us aside Uilosdir is probably stronger than her. Her real strength comes from her natural magical progression.”) (“How in the WORLD does she do that Annihilator shot!?”) (“She’s capable of taking light and dark, two extreme opposed forces, yin and yang, and combine them into one attack. She learned this ALL by herself.”) (“She certainly has potential!”) (“Also nice boobs too.”) (“That make her squeal wheneve-”)

You cut Mina off there. (“Wait! You and Brooklyn are in THAT kind of relationship!?”)

(“Um... Duh?”) (“We’re not girlfriends yet... I don’t think so... She’s never asked me yet anyways.”) (“Yea Brooklyn’s a lesbian.”) Mina replies.

(“...A lesbian Succubus sounds like a paradox.”) You say.

(“Given her situation I can’t say I blame her.”) (“Both sexes have things to offer! ARGH! These people!”) (“Succubi are just like humans Erika! While... yea lesbian Succubi are rare, they still have tastes just like normal humans do.”) Mina says.

(“Baka!”) (“SHIT!”) (“That is... something private for Brooklyn. I don’t feel comfortable discussing such things without her permission.”) (“Damnit I hate needing to watch your own thoughts with an Ayarian...”) Mina says in a rather nervous tone.

("Also, you said why you like her, but why do you follow her?") you ask.

(“Exactly that.”) (“I follow her because I like her! I like her ideals and what she strives to be!”) (“Down with the Pride Demons! Down with the system of oppression!”) (“And back to the land of cool comics!”) Mina says.

(“...Ah yes. Given our meet up with the Queen’s, I guess I know what’s in store for us. They want us to clear the way, right?”) you ask.

(“Yup!”) (“I expected them to be bigger bitches myself.”) (“Purple-sama~”) (“Miyu is a bit of a bitch though. ...Cool bitch but still a bitch.”) (“Yea it sounds like we’re under service to them, but they’re FAR more agreeable than the Pride Demons, don’t you agree?”) Mina asks.

Hm... She has a point. They went through the effort oa full demonic transformation with, rather than merely enlightening your aether. >>
>>23796615
yes, and the fact that all the bandits were going to die there, but still be put to use for the community
>>
>>23796596
Yeah, problem with that is "this is the fate of those who cross a demon lord" is also a theatrical statement which functions fairly well to set up the context of tickle torture hell. We set up the joke as us being a powerful and vindictive demon that Erika, in breaking our cup, has crossed. We are furious and unleash our terrible power...of tickling the hell out of her. In that context the whole demon lord thing is pretty much the setup for a joke. It happens to also be true, but since Erika had no way of knowing that and a perfectly valid (and also legitimately correct) alternative interpretation, I doubt that she has any doubt that Broklyn is anything other than just another succubus (and not a demo lord).

No idea if that was at all clear. Time to sleep. Adios anons.
>>
>>23796717
>but still be put to use for the community
I don't remember that. Did we use a Question Fate or something?
>>
>>23796756
It was. However it was also somewhat inaccurate in that it was a serious attempt to reveal our identity that Sandact interpreted as a joke, probably because there was some division about whether to reveal our identity.
>>
>>23796800
>it was a serious attempt
>some division about whether to reveal our identity

I don't see how it could be a serious attempt then. Either everyone (or most) was on board with the idea or not. And based off the latter part of your statement, I venture for not.
>>
>>23796800

A lot of division you mean, and something that would be irreversible once done.
>>
>>23796800
Why would we want to reveal our identity and potentially put ourselves on Ada's neutralization list?
>>
>>23796874
A majority was on board with the idea to reveal our identity, a substantially minority was not. So Sandact treated it as a joke.
>>
>>23796800

it is a joke. the joke is that we keep telling them the truth, it's just that Brooklyns timing is really bad and everyone thinks it's a joke. Even when we rule the world, they will still think it a joke...
though the moment they realise that we really are a demon lord, it would be worth 99% of all the tea in the world...
>>
>>23796907
Because everyone keeps talking about how trustworthy she is?
>>
>>23796918
pretty much this.
>>
>>23796908
To be fair the most popular phrasing was set up as a half joke.
>>
>>23796884
A lot of things are irreversible once done and have division attached. Hasn't stopped us from doing them.
>>
>>23796907
It something that needs to be done. I would like to do before we leave for TO.
>>
>>23796908

>>23796953
Yes you were.
>>
>>23796953
as part of that majority, thank you for derailing the discussion
>>
>>23796944
Why does it need to be done? Honest question, you might be coming at this from a different angle than I.
>>
>>23796981
Because Ada needs to know the stakes she is playing for before she can properly support us. Plus, I personally think revealing our identity will forestall attempts to control us, not cause them.
>>
>>23796953
>>23796976

as part of the third group who wanted to do it as a joke, I am most pleased with how it turned out.
>>
>>23796981
Because I like her to be on board with us, working with us, and helping with any plans we have in the future. What I don't want to happen is her finding out through some fuck up of our doing and getting pissed at us for not saying something sooner.

Best I can put this is I want to control the follow of information. It's best to here it from us or if need be summon up a queen to confirm what we said.
>>
>>23796976
As a member of the majority, I'm personally annoyed.
>>
>>23797050
>here
>hear

Ugh.
>>
>>23797003

I think it would make sense to reveal everything just before going to TO, because that's when the big stage starts, and it would give people time to get used to the idea while we're gone. I don't like the idea of doing it sooner though, because it will complicate things in a setting where it really doesn't change anything.

(“Is it true that Brooklyn is a demon lord? I heard it whilst he was tickling me, and with all the Queens around it certainly seems like a possibility.”) you ask.

Hm... Mina has a point th-

...Wait a second, no idle thoughts that time. It seems like she stopped herself from saying those for whatever reason. Hm...

(“Can you tell me a bit more about Succubi culture?”) you ask.

(“Iya! Too many!”) (“Damn secretive Okarians and their special library...”) (“Miyians make my head hurt when they explain things...”) (“I wonder if she’ll become like the other Ayarians?”) (“Succubus culture is... a bit different. On one hand you have some Succubi who are just like humans who try to live out their days. These Succubi don’t often raise their powers that much.”) (“For some bizzare reason...”) (“But even then, a lot of the Succubi often pride themselves based on caste. I can’t accurately speak for many other castes except my own.”) Mina says.

(“Then what is Belkarian culture like?”) you ask.

(“Come to think of it Purple had a lot of influence didn’t she?”) (“Belkarian culture does place a lot of emphasis on our martial skill, in particular the one skill they seem to be a natural savant in, moreso than others.”) (“The soul skill!”) (“It’s often called the soul skill or the soul style where I come from, and it is said that one can understand themselves by learning how to use it.”) (“One also learns a great deal from others based upon how they fight in battle.”) (“Dueling and spars are quite common between Belkarians, to the point where it is a greeting for us.”) (“Polearm users... ARGH POLEARM USERS!”) (“That Okarian Battle Mage Polearm user... Oh dear sweet Pamille...”) Mina says.

This is probably because out of all the Queen’s, Janine was the Regent to Empress Pamille until she returned.”) (“I don’t know who’s stronger though... All the Queen’s seemed equal... Or too close for me to tell.”) (“Not to be stereotypical, but a lot of Ayarians I met were also fairly... snobbish persay.”) (“Thinking they’re so hot shit and have a natural claim to power because Janine is the Regent! Bah!”) (“The Ayarians I met in the Belkarian battle area are pretty cool though.”) (“So... Many... Knives...”) (“I know one Ayarian practice is that when they meet each other outside of a duel, they often attempt to fry each other’s minds. A mental duel to see which one is stronger.”) (“Only for ones who acknowledge themselves as warriors though.”) (“Where I come from, Ayarians who follow the path of martial skill are known as Sohei.”) (“Perfection of the mind and body... Quite literally in this case!”) (“...I think Okarian Battle Mages from home called themselves that too... didn’t they?”) Mina asks.

(“Dddaaawww!”) (“Do you want me to teach you then? I’m sure one of the guys would be happy to help you out!”) Mina offers.
>>
[2/2]

(“Eh!?”) you gasp, the shock even evident on your face in reality. (“W-W-With another man!? I-I-I mean even with another... I don’t want to break David’s heart...”)

(“Oh this attitude...”) (“Think of it more like training. You’re going to need experience, and trying to suck out an enlightened being’s aether is actually a rather difficult thing to do.”) (“Loosen up! These people need to learn it’ll be fun!”) (“We can leave the guys out if you want. No difference to me.”) Mina replies.

(“B-B-But I’ve never been with a girl like that before!”) you protest.

(“First time for everything!”) (“Being a Succubus has nothing to do with it.”) (“I’d probably even ask if I noticed you were open with the idea anyways!”) (“She has a great body, the small bust size does fit her!”) (“Mina! For Pamille’s sake calm down! This is for her sake, not yours!”) (“Oh right! I need to see if she’s open to it!”) (“No pressure if you don’t want to of course!”) Mina says.

You can feel a small pang of anger go through you upon Mina’s latest comments. But thankfully as a Succubus? You don’t need to bother with your body in its current state unless you want to.

You expand your bust outwards, it becoming rather noticable even with the armour.

“Um... Lady Erika...” Uilosdir says, most likely noticing your growth.

“Not now.” you reply, in a bit of a sour mood.

“OK!” Uilosdir replies going straight as a pole.

Alex makes the motion of cracking a whip a few times, Uilosdir too scared straight to respond.

Pushing someone hard that you hardly know over something minor, while going in a life or death mission with that person.. how could that ever not be a reasonable choice? /facepalm
>>
>>23797872
Ask about the demon lord thing
>>
And that will be it for me for the night. I need to go to bed now. Barely see straight at this point.

I'll see you all next week, barring any disasters.
>>
>>23797872
Keep pushing about the demon lord.
>>
>>23797899
Please open with us discussing the damned demon lord thing.
>>
>>23797922

Yea I will next thread then, in addition to whatever else was voted on.
>>
>>23797897
>>23797909
>>23797922
No, goddam. Fucking drop it already. I mean really people? Why not just until we're Brooklyn again then tell her. Christ.

>>23797899
Just move to the fucking town and get this shit over with.
>>
>>23797961
Yay!
>>
>>23797922

Please don't.
>>
>>23797964
Do you really expect us to drop it?
>>
>>23797922
Thank you very much
>>23797961
agreed.
>>23797964
No
>>
>>23797964

I agree! Enough metagaming and try picking a time and place when we're not going out risking our life if you really must do it!,
>>
>>23797961
I approve.
>>
>>23797992
I expect people to have tact and common sense about where to ask these type of things. But maybe that's too much to ask for this day and age.
>>
>>23797977
Please do
>>
>>23797872

once we calm down, we do need to apologize to Uilosdir for snapping at him. it was unladylike of us to do so.
>>
>>23798027

Just too much to ask for on /tg/ apparently.
>>
>>23798027
Considering that quite a few people want to delay it effectively indefinitely I'll take "the instant I can muster enough votes" thanks.
>>
What the hell people? What does Erika prematurely finding out that Brooklyn is a demon lord accomplish, aside from making her wary of us?

And if we do manage to pressure Mina into letting slip such potentially dangerous info, she'd certainly be within her right to chew Erika out it.
>>
>>23798055
Agreed
>>23798066
I wanted to reveal it earlier. I'll take now.
>>
>>23798044
Agreed. Man that guy is easily frightened.
>>
(One more minor update, very minor)

(“So... Brooklyn’s a Demon lord then?”) you ask Mina.

(“G-Gomen nasai! Wa-Watashi wa eigo ga wakarimasen!”) Mina replies mentally in a language you never heard before, her voice clearly sounding somewhat distressed.
>>
>>23798027
shockingly, not everone's common sense agrees with yours. Its happened to me a few times this quest. Guess its your turn.
>>
>>23798055
>indefinitely
Who the fuck has said that? I'm waiting for shit to claim down in Fort Hope before going 'Guess what, I'm a Demon Lord HUEHUEHUE'
>>
>>23798108
Keep pressing her next update.
>>
>>23798108
Sandact, We're getting that info out one way or another. Make it easy on everyone.
>>
>>23798135
Yeah make it easy. By dropping it and moving on to the mission.
>>
>>23798135
Agreed. At this point you are simply encouraging us.
>>
>>23798142
Never.
>>
>>23798142
I voted to skip the mission entirly. I'm getting something out of it.
>>
>>23797961
Will hold you to that.
>>
>>23798186
same
>>
>>23798178
Tell me what good does getting Erika this info?
>>
>>23798186
Agreed. Not letting go of this one
>>
>>23798108
>(“G-Gomen nasai! Wa-Watashi wa eigo ga wakarimasen!”)
>sorry I don't speak English
that's a bloody lie, not that Erika would understand that
>>
>>23798241
Helps cement our position.
>>
>>23798241
Helps spread the knowledge of our nature, and provides a sense of authority that we've lost now that she's no longer our student.
>>
>>23798256
How? How does doing this /now/ help in anyway when it can be done at Fort Hope.
>>
>>23798241
>Tell me what good does getting Erika this info?
She thinks Mina lied to her, she wants to confirm it. simple.
>>
>>23798301
because it gives her time to digest it. And because you can't undo it. And because Sandact has been waving a red cape in front of us for the entire thread.
>>
>>23798325
And telling her at Fort Hope won't give her time? And Sands is being a bitch, what else is new?
>>
>>23798350
I'll note you didn't answer the second one.
>>
>>23798363
What's there to answer?

>And because you can't undo it.

Congrats, there's a lot of shit one can't undo.
>>
>>23798350
Well if we keep pushing we'll get an answer at some point. Frankly I'm wondering how long sandact is willing to let this consume the quest given that people are already complaining about the pace.
>>
>>23798292
>Helps spread the knowledge of our nature
I'm sorry, did you miss the part where we were told that that would bring elite demonhunter hit squads down on our heads ASAP?
>>
>>23798383
Don't know, I was just figuring that if you were going to try to fuitilely convince us with arguements that you might as well do a thorough job
>>
>>23798413
Nope. I've just argued for being upfront with her and Ada. So I consider it a plus.
>>
>>23798393
hopefully he'll just have Erika get the info at the start of next thread.
>>
>>23798413
Were we ever actually told that? I mean I'm sure its been implied one hell of a lot, but I'm not sure its been explicitly stated.
>>
>>23798108
Trust you'll give us an actual answer next thread. I'm out.
>>
>>23798441
But Erika finding out that Mina has 'suspicions' about us being a demon lord is NOT us being 'upfront'. It's her finding out that we ARE NOT being upfront!
>>
>>23798506
But Brooklyn did admit it. Which is why she asked.
>>
>>23798527
Yeah we did.
>>
>>23798527
well alright, but I still think that doing it this way was a bit clunky and we'll have to deal with her asking us about it before we can continue with the timeskip.
>>
>>23798108
Keep pressing her. This is not a joke.
>>

Why are we pushing this so hard? If we want a big reveal it would lose the impact. Really need to save it far latter when we are a force to be reckoned with and can't hide any more.

Also keep in mind if the enemy learns we are a succubus lord they will bring down hell on us. think we are in over our head? wait till you see all the powerfully demons.
>>
>>23798108
>(“G-Gomen nasai! Wa-Watashi wa eigo ga wakarimasen!”)
>Sorry! I do not understand my English!

Heh...
>>
>>23798735
Ada is mostly driving this.
>>
>>23798766
Ada? she is not here. how is she driving this?
>>
>>23798788
People want to recruit Erika and Amanda to manage mercenaries and money respectively to counterbalance Ada in the immediate aftermath of her taking over the town.
>>
>>23798108
Yeah, we aren't dropping this.
>>
>>23798816
I really don't see the point it would cause far more problems antagonizing someone who is an Allie. Yes she can be abrasive but that is her personality because she had a terrible childhood.
>>
>>23798987
Because securing alternate sources of funding and men != picking a fight with her. Its insurance, nothing more.
>>
>>23799050
The whole point of Ada trying to take over Fort Hope in first place is because of her wanting to prove herself worthy (even if only in her own eyes).

I also get the feeling she has been starved of real friendship.
If she found out that we had prepared 'Insurance' against her, it would just be more of the same she was used to getting from other people.
And she'd never truly view us as a 'real' friend after that.

So the question is, do we want her as a friend? Or as a tool?
We can only really pick one.
>>
>>23799050

Though were were going to do that in OT. Look at it this way she is providing us with resources it took her years to accumulate. Ada shares our goal and is willing to follow us because of that.

We have her trust as she could have sold us out already or just ignored us. I feel that not trusting her at this point is paranoia and i would save it for other threats.
>>
So why are we trying to spread knowledge of Brooklyn being a Lord around? Isn't that painting a bigger bullseye on our back?
>>
>>23799306
if being her fried requires us to totally place ourselves at her mercy, I pick tool. That said, I don't agree with your analysis
>>
>>23799354
How is getting alternate sources of funding hurt that?
>>
>>23799354
We can do it now easily, so do it now.
>>
>>23799371
Because Some people want to trust their friends with this knowledge and at this point will take any means they can get to spread the word.
>>
>>23798987
More money and mercs are good. Multiple sources are good because redundancy.
>>
>>23799392

We are not at her mercy she may control the city through connections and liberal use of suggestion but that does not make us reliant on her. When have we used the city's resources? In fact i view control of a city as icing on the cake.
>>
>>23799465
because once we quit our day job we'll need her money unless we have an alternate source. Getting one is just good sense.
>>
>>23799490
She can also fire us once she controls the city anyway.
>>
>>23799454

I am OK with more resources but look at it this way we are going to leave Ada behind most likely to manage resources anyway. Gathering new resources and allies at OT. I don't see why we need to reveal ourselves as a demon lord to accomplish this.
>>
>>23799392
It does not require that.
What it does require, is us not walking all over her hard work with the excuse of 'I'm a Demon Lord, so I'm entitled to full control of everything i think should'.
That's how pride demons think.

Getting a source of funding outside of her control is fine, but not when doing so means wrestling it away from her.
>>
>>23799550
Helping Amanda isn't directly conflicting with Ada.
>>23799522
Because It helps ensure that Erika and Amanda stay loyal to us not Ada while we are gone
>>
Why does it matter for us to tell everyone that we are a Demon Lord? At worst we may sounds like this >>23799550 anon said
> 'I'm a Demon Lord, so I'm entitled to full control of everything i think should'.
At best it will pose an artificial barrier.

Just leave it be and let them find out in a casual conversation. If we don't make it out as a big deal, they won't feel like we are forcing our status on them.
>>23799577
>Because It helps ensure that Erika and Amanda stay loyal to us not Ada while we are gone
I fail to see how it 'helps'.
>>
>>23799577
Why would they be loyal to Ada? For what reason?
>>
>>23797961
Hope you will
>>
>>23799577
I don't think loyalty works that way, Anon.

We should have everyone be working together, not operating under an imposed monarchy.
Even the Queens would agree on that.
>>
You know, I wonder if all these people getting so butt hurt about people wanting to do something different then themselves annoys Sandact6 as much as it does everyone else, or if he takes it as a complement on his writing skills that people care so much.
>>
Let's just be friend with everyone. For now don't say anything about being a demon lord, it would had needless drama, we'll tell them once langy is out of the picture and we'll see how they react then. As for the ada friend or tool discussion, I'm pretty sure than IC Brooklyn consider her a friend.
