You’re hit with a sudden gut wrenching clarity. It was Professor Bergle who had knocked you out that day and tricked you into revealing all you knew, which thankfully wasn’t all that much.

When you spoke to the Ravenclaw Door she had told you the two things she smelt were 1) Freshly cut grass and 2) shaving foam.

Who would be around freshly cut grass more than Professor Bergle? It’s his job to teach students how to fly throughout the day. It couldn’t have been Mr. Gleesan because you had seen him asleep in his shack before you entered the forest.

“Something wrong, Miss Fauxly?” asks Nathaniel, his voice showing real concern.

My gut instinct is telling me that Nathaniel was killed due to EVOL. He was in a love-triangle along with Professor Bergle and Professor Tribs. She must of promised Nathaniel something but couldn't fulfil since he was killed, so she became who she is today because of this.
