((No social obligations in the morning means I can run as late as I want. Buwahaha!!))

The Story thus far: You are special agent Anon and you have been given the task of entering the world as a player and investigating CC corp's dark underbelly, namely the basis behind the rumors and incidents of harm which CC corp has been keeping under wraps.

You play as Chen, an androgynous Macabre dancer, a mage using both offense spells and buffs/debuffs to play the field as you wish.

On your first day logged in you managed to get hit by some mysterious black dots and fall into a coma yourself for nearly 4 days. Upon waking you managed to get your partner to join you in the investigation. You managed to defeat 3 PKers and made an ally in a stuttering mess of a cleric, then visited moon tree where you got some seriously bad vibes.

You then proceeded to Lumia Cloth where you watched an Emperor's match with a group of arena rankers. The Champion transformed into a giant monster which looked like a gross parody of a child playing ghost but with bandages and leather belts in place of a sheet, a hood covering their face, and bladed arms.

The leader of the team you were watching the match with, Lotus, then pulled you out and forced her contact details on you after she noticed you could see the monster the champion was using.

Being instructed to level you made your way to a special event where you joined up with two new companions. A Flick reaper named Luna Blackthorne and a Tribal grappler called Shimabuku. They are both roleplayers and you found yourself getting along well with them

(1/2)
>>
After making your way to the bottom of the dungeon and beating a boss, you found the guild leader who sponsored the event and as a reward you told him you will one day call on him for a favor which he must honor. Your new companions and your individual rewards are about to make your way out when you hear a girl cry out from behind you.

You turn and see a woman surrounded by several men walking towards you.

"Ehhhhh? Takashi, like, I thought you said the guild could make it to the bottom first. I am, like, sooooooooo sad, ya know?" She moans causing a man who looks like a very skinny werewolf with blue fur in the front start to panic.

"Don't worry babe, I will get you something. Hey, you three! My girlfriend wants you to give her your stuff. Give it here!" he shouts which the players around the girl add to.

"Yeah! She is our angel! Don't you make her cry!"

"She is way cuter than your girls, you fucking playboy!"

"The real should just explode! NAOO-tan is a saint!"

We could try to bluff. Maybe say that another person got here before we did, got his reward, then logged out afterwards. Though that might just be delaying their attack on us.

>[x]Shout about your penis, it is batting 2 for 2 as of now

Shimabuku might be a bit taken aback, but I think we've earned enough cred with him to not have the shock have any lasting effects.
>>
>>24193910
Agreed. If the boss's corpse is still there, see if we can't insinuate that we'd be too few to take it on by ourselves. Make sure everyone's healed up as well.

Don't really think shouting about our penis will stun them long enough to cheese it though.

You look at the other players and decide that fighting them, while the sort of macabre funny which would get you killed fairly quickly, would not be a good idea. Instead you decide to spin a tale

"Ah, look, we are pretty low level right, I mean, we are in our 20s, but the boss was way too strong for us to handle, right? So clearly it could not have been us who killed the boss and took the loot. There was another guy who gated out just before we got here. Really!" You lie, remembering how vicious your sister could get when in full fan-girl mode over her idols.

"Like, reeeeeally? That super sucks!" The girl, you assume to be NAOO pouts while swinging her hips gently side to side.

"Indeed, the suckiness is, potentially, super. We were disappointing as well, but we can't let that keep us down." You smile while nudging the Shimabuku and Luna.

"Y-yes, twas a most inelegant looking man who came and took the items from the guild master." Luna raises a gloved hand and fakes a laugh while covering her mouth slightly.

"Deevon, that was his name. Dude came in and was all, 'gimme your items'. He is a PK steam gunner who is a total jerk." Shimabuku adds, clearly following easily.

"Reeeeeeaaaaallly, like, how mean! Hey, Takashi, can we, like go find this guy? He seems suuuuuper rude." She complains, pulling on the guild master's tail slightly.

"Y-yeah! If our goddess wants us to take care of these guys we will!" The lead player shouts causing the group to start to leave.

"Oh, like, thanks Bukubuku, you can, like totally join my fan club too!" The woman gives Shimabuku a wink before the group leaves.

"That was pretty scary. Nice save Chen." Shimabuku smiles at you and you notice Luna also seems to relax after they leave.

"You too Shimabuku, who were those guys?"

"NAOO-Knights. A group dedicated to following and protecting that girl. Such uncouth gentlemen, and such a shameless woman." Luna adds as you make your way towards the warp portal at in the far corner of the room. With a quick touch you are back in Mac Anu.

You are now standing in the Mac Anu gate-room. Shimabuku stretches and put his hands on his hips with a smile. "That was fun! Hey, you still got time? I want to play some more!" Shimabuku shouts drawing attention from some other players.

"Indeed, fighting with you was quite pleasant Chen, even Shimabuku's disgusting odor was tolerable." Luna adds making you smile

You think over their offer before nodding. "Yeah, but first I think we need should restock. Plus I must contact some other allies regarding some other matters." You inform them.

"Of course, thanks to a certain muscle headed fight junky with no sense of manners, or shame I am completely out of health potions." Luna nods.

"O-oi, who you calling a muscle headed fight junky with no sense of shame?!" Shimabuku yells causing Luna to tilt her head at him.

"Hm? Did I mention you? Ah, I see, you finally realize you are a disgusting hard headed idiot who can't read the mood. So that is how you see yourself. I see I see." She nods as if satisfied by something.

"I... I feel like I just lost something important." Shimabuku frowns as he walks off.

You pull out your contact list and see that Durga and Lotus are both online. You send a quick message to Durga and ask what she has been up to. You then send out a message to Lotus and ask her about the arena situation, and why she is so obsessed with Raum.

You begin strolling through the guild marketplace, with some cash to burn, and spot an armor that is anti paralysis. The guild manager running the place smiles at you and after a brief haggling session you agree to the price of 70k. Just as you are leaving the marketplace you spot the same armor being sold by other vendors for 500gp. Woops. You manage to stock up on 20 health potions before discovering you were buying the worst tier, then having to resell them for less, and buying the right ones. Lost 9k. Now have 18k left

Durga sends a message back after you finish your purchase.

You notice you have a message from Lotus as well.

"Continue leveling."

You send her a message back asking she at least explain some things to you to which she replies.

"Raum took something important of mine."

Deciding not to push your luck too much with her you sigh and look around the town square. The very nice painkillers seem to have taken effect as your headache seems to be pretty much under control for now.

You notice the Frenchman who hit on you walking toward an alleyway. Otherwise there seems to be nothing more to look at in the town square.

There is a path to the left and to the right. The one to the left leads to the quest shop and the channel. The one to the right is unknown. There is also the ally

That's a good idea. But we might want to be discreet about this. If the guys up at CC-corp are half as smart as I think they are, they might try to cover it up as best they can. They won't take kindly to anybody who digs too deeply into their secrets, cops or not. Aside from me, do you know about anyone else who has fallen into a game-induced coma recently?

Also, one of Deevon's lackeys mentioned that one of their guys has been acting weird since we killed them. I think Malice was her name? We might want to look into that, too.

You think over what Haruko's planning before sending a reply back.

"That's a good idea.

We might want to look into that, too."

You nod before making your way past the french-man and winking at him. He pauses for a moment before throwing a rose at you and winking back. He is dedicated to his role, that's for sure.

You approach the quest-shop and look over the quests being offered.

Find My hat (Level 25 book of power)
Bounty hunter exam (Level 10 book of power)
Mecha Grunty (Level 25 book of sense)
Find the drowned treasure (Level 28 Rare item box)

You look over the posted quests and rewards when you hear a young mac call out from behind you. "The Drowned Treasure is probably worth your time, assuming you want to make it in time for the tournament. They call it level 28 but it is actually gives enough XP to hit 29 pretty easy."

You turn to look and see a young man in a hoodie with his hands in his pockets standing behind you. He is fairly thin with a light complexion and dark blue eyes.

Your response?

((Am I perhaps posting too quickly? Should I wait longer? Again, this is my time running a quest so any advice is welcome))

This, also introduce ourselves to him. I like how often you post, some gms take like 20-30 minutes between posts and I feel like that's to long.
>>
>>24195311
Honestly, for the quality of the quest, you post extremely fast.

That's a good thing--it keeps things moving, rather than standing still for half an hour after we reach a consensus.
>>
You open up your mobile browser and looking up the quest information on the forums.

The quest is fairly new, but there are quite a few people commenting that the XP is good, but the 'rare item box' is way too random. You nod to yourself happily as the man turns to leave.

"Yeah, thanks for the tip good sir. Might I have your name? As for me, I am called Chen." You inform him with a smile.

"Me? I'm the Snark. Ah, or maybe I'm the Boojum, hard to say really." He laughs. He glances towards some approaching people before turning and taking his leave, shouting back "Glad to help Chen, here's to hoping we meet again!"

You send out a message to Luna and Shimabuku about the quest who both seem fine with it. You are about to accept the quest when you get a message from Haruko.

"Malice? You sure? I will look into it, but I figured if I could just follow the rumors I might find something. I was trying to be discrete about keeping this info away from CC-Corp, which is why in my first message I did not include anything about what my job was or who I worked for. Servers can be hacked, Anon."

You accept the quest just as Shimabuku and Luna show up.

You are given an old map to a sunken temple where three treasures remain hidden. The archeology association wants you to find out what is down there before sending a team, and any treasure you find is yours.

"A simple task. I must inform my guild-mates about my departure, so if you will kindly wait for me?" Luna asks turning to leave.

"Ah, I have to go check on an auction now that you mention it." Shimabuku sighs as he turns a different way

You think over your options for a few minutes before looking at Luna. "Ah, hey. Mind if I come with. I would be honored to meet your guild mates." You ask to which she smiles at you.

"Of course Chen, your company is always welcome." She explains.

"Why not come with Shimabuku?" You ask.

"No, ahhh... how should I put it. Her guild and I do not mesh well." He answers while looking away awkwardly. Something must have happened

The both of you wish Shimabuku luck at his auction and make your way to the right hand path you did not explore before. The long winding road takes you passed the harbor and you are momentarily taken aback by how very beautiful the eternal sunset looks on the ocean. You turn your head and notice Luna smiling at you.

"Chen, were you listening?" She asks, causing you to blush slightly and shake your head.

"Sorry, I wasn't. It's just, ah, I was looking at something else." You apologize hastily as she turns and looks towards the setting sun.

"It is very lovely. The setting sun, forever at the edge of the sky and casting the world in it's crimson hue. Never fully dead, yet far from living as well. A sad thing to look upon, yet a beautiful sight none the less. I think many of us take advantage of how often we see it, so I can not fault you for admiring something we should all look at as well." She sighs before taking your hand in hers and walking on the seaside at a much slower pace than before.

You make your way to the guild home, a small hole in the wall, and Luna hands you what she called a "guest pass". She explains you need it to get in and out of the guild.

She opens the door and steps through with you quickly following.

The guild hall is... different to say the least. Crimson tapestries and low light making sure everything is covered in shadows. It takes a second for your eyes to adjust, but you are eventually able to make out the shapes of several people mulling around talking.

Luna approaches one of the talking people, a regal looking man who seems to have designed his character to look like a living corpse with white skin, black hair, a black outfit, and black eyes and gives a curtsy. "Elder Mathios, I must again depart for the cursed land of the living." She explains to which he scoffs.

"Playing with your mortals again, oh moon child. You take them with you when you should feed. You play pretend with those who still have warmth in their hearts when you should remain here and manage your house." He scoffs looking at you and sneering. "Did you bring this one as a snack, dear Luna? A way of saying sorry for your foolishness?"

You keep your mouth shut, deciding to let Luna handle the issue at hand. "This person is my guest, a being of elegance and dignity. You may speak what ever shames you wish upon me, Elder Mathios, but to this person I must insist a measure of courtesy." She replies causing the Vampiric man to glower more.

"Whelp, you dare to speak this way to me." He growls raising a hand. You are about to step forward when a man's laughter starts echoing through the hall.

Hush whispers turn to dead silence as a man walks from the back of the guild hall and stands in front of Mathios. Unlike the others in the room he is wearing what looks like armor from a roman legion. He is clean cut, and with deeply tanned skin covered in scars, most of which look faded from age. He gives you an easy going smile as he stops in front of Mathios. "That's enough, right Mathios? You don't want to lose your standing anymore than you already have. Unless you want to take me on." He sneers causing Mathios to lower his hand.

"Cassius." He pauses for a few seconds before brushing his hand on his shirt and regaining his composure. "If it isn't the madman. Still going on about that Rome place are you?" He balks as if the whole notion is ridiculous.

"Be I transformed into a blood seeking monster, or in a world I can not even call my own, a Legatus Augusti pro praetore shall be forever loyal to Rome, and ever willing to fight for his Caesar." He replies.

Mathios seems to think something over for a few moments before turning and walking back towards a far corner in the guild hall. Cassius turns to you and Luna and smiles widely again.

"Sorry about that. We both command the guild, and we are in a bit of a power struggle. Of course, it probably doesn't help that Mathios once got his ass kicked by that Shima fella over what it means to be a man. Still, hell of a way to treat a guest and a friend. Let me apologize on his behalf." He gives a slight bow before returning to the opposite corner of the room.
(1/2)
>>
You make your way out of the guildhall with Luna and she lets out a small sigh of relief. "I am sorry Chen, Elder Mathios is a difficult one to deal with. "There is no need to apologize for that fools behavior, as it will take more than spiteful posturing and boorish behavior to rattle me. Should he ever need a thrashing, do inform me, and I shall come rushing to deliver it." You touch her chin and make her raise her head while giving her the most reassuring smile you can.

As you make your way back to the chaos gate you feel your interest piqued and decide to ask more about her guild. "I am intrigued; I've never seen a place with so many pale folk mingling about, nor with a Roman butting heads with a Victorian noble. Could you tell me more about your guild?"

She seems to think on this for a few moments before replying. "Tis a place where all the children of the night may flock together and discuss the matters of the night. Generally we try to stay with those who are also born of darkness, but I find myself drawn to the mortals the Elder would have us fear. They have nights of poetry, artwork, and general scheming abound. Honestly it is quite difficult to deal with." She explains as you enter the chaos gate room

You find Shimabuku already waiting for you. "So how did you like the dead poets society?" He asks causing Luna to scoff.

You enter the keywords and find yourself standing in ankle deep water in a ruined building. Shimabuku looks around and lets out a whistle in awe of the place, and you are inclined to agree with him.

Delicate carvings line the walls and pillars, each telling a different story, each one ending the same, showing the temple sinking into the waves. You look around and decide it would probably be best to try and take it like a normal dungeon.

You find yourself delving into the dungeon with gusto. While slaughtering a large fish with absurdly buff human arms and legs you decide to ask Shimabuku about his experience with the guild.

"Luna's guild was quite an interesting place. Beautiful decor, if not a bit somber. There were also quite a number of colorful people there, including one dark and brooding specimen who may or may not have gotten a sound thrashing over an argument over manliness."

You then turn to him with a small smirk and ask "You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you Shimabuku?"

He scratches his head to your statement and lets out a small sigh. "What can I say? The man was out of line." He responds drawing a laugh from you, and even an elegant chuckle from Luna.

"So, what are those auctions about?" You ask later as the three of you are swimming up stream away from a horde of fairly angry human eating fish.

"Ah, well, I took a vow of never needing weapons or the like, with my body as all the weapon I need. So I put everything I have up at this auction house thing they have going on. I think it is mostly used to make sure the guilds generally keep a fair market price. Sometimes you can also find really rare gear there, like that pumpkin mask you got." He explains as you manage to give the piranha vigil the tiny pants it needed in order to open the hidden door.

As you make your way into the treasure room, you take a look around and see three boxes. All together you are severely underwhelmed, the quest said the place was supposed to be good EXP but you barely leveled. Shimabuku shrugs his shoulders as he kicks open the first chest and...

From within the chest you hear a ghastly wail. You cover your ears for a second before you see a tidal wave of small goblin's wearing small pointed skulls. You manage to avoid getting run over and shanked by a staggering number of small creatures. Your group managed to start cutting down the small creatures, finding it to rather satisfying work. As the visceral remains pool into the middle of the floor you three open another of the treasure chests, finding three small boxes with small buttons on the top. You are about to push them when you hear a high pitched screech from the remains. In front of you the gore and bones and sinew fuse together and take the shake of a large scorpion made of nightmares.

Before you can shout out a debuff you find yourself with the large tail piercing your chest. You look up in disbelief as Luna makes a dash for the creature but her body is ripped in half by its massive claws as if it were ripping tissue paper.

Shimabuku tried to make one last valiant assault, but the creatures gore born face rips open and several tentacles latch onto him and pull him in. He lets out a quick shout before the sound of grinding can be heard from within and then silence.

YOU ARE DEAD

You re-spawn back at Mac Anu, the three of you no longer having boxes. A small information bar pops up, happily informing you that you have failed the quest.

It is on like donkey kong.

But first, check up on our companions. How are they coping with the random monster encounter?
>>
You were killed before you even had a chance to use your consumables.

You look back at the two of your noble companions and find Shimabuku looks the worst for wear. You brush an errant stand of hair from your face before seeing your braid seems to have come undone and begin redoing it while asking him "Hey, what's wrong Shimabuku? You are not normally one to get depressed after dieing. What's up?"

"Tentacles" He replies coldly, not meeting either of your gazes.

"Tentacles?" Luna prompts making him cross his arms.

"I... I can never be a bride now." He frowns, his deadpan delivery of the statement making it hard to seem like it is a joke.

Now, now Shimabuku. You can't just give in to being emasculated like that. You've got to fight! Show the world the bravado of Shimabuku! I mean, just look at me. I don't let others mistaking me for a woman get me down!
>>
>>24197901

>Shimabuku

Pat him on the shoulder and whisper very loudly "It's okay. This can be our secret."

>Strategy

Get Luna's and Shima's input on the situation.

If the encounter is still the same, then Chen and company should be able to deal with the goblins. The scorpion seems to rise from their viscera once the buttons on the chests are pressed, and acts very very quickly and one-shots people. This implies that it is very high level.

We could try to grab some debuff consumables so we can hit the scorpion with some debuffs right off the bat; Chen's debuffs take some time to cast, which might be time we don't have. Each group member should carry 2-3 attack down consumables and speed down consumables. Once the chest is kicked, the group could attempt to run around to herd the goblins into one huge deathball, and lure them away from the chest room to give the group some time to prepare once the Scorpion rises from the goblins' corpses.

After the Scorpion spawns and enters the room, the group hits the boss with the debuff consumables. This should slow it down enough so the group can manageably dodge its attacks, and lower the raw power of its attacks so it won't one-shot anyone. From there, it's just a matter of Chen cycling debuffs (defense down, speed down, attack down) to keep the monster crippled while Shimabuku and Luna wear it down.
>>
Discuss for about half an hour while I stretch and get some food. Probably egg related food
>>
>>24198115

Alternatively, the goblins could also be led around a large area and killed all over the dungeon so that the gibs will have to travel a very large distance to spawn the Scorpion. The Scorpion's spawn point may be where the largest density of dead goblins are, so the spawn point might be able to be controlled that way.
>>
He could regain his honor by cutting the tentacles off and force feeding them to the beast.
>>
If the remains of the enemies are what create the larger creature would burning the bodies work to prevent its arrival?

That might also work, or serve to weaken it so it isn't quite so powerful when it spawns.

You share a glance with Luna before patting Shimabuku on the shoulder. "There there Shimabuku, it can be our little secret." You whisper loud enough for a few players around the gate to give you wary looks. As he does not seem to cheer up you decide to continue. "Don't let it get to you, show the world the Shimabuku bravado! I mean, everyone constantly mistakes me for a woman, but you do not see me letting it get me down, do you?" You encourage causing Luna to take a double take.

"Wait, you are a male? As in... you, Chen, are a male?" She asks furrowing her brow.

"Hm? When did I ever say I was a woman?" You ask as Shimabuku turns to look at you closely.

"No way." He states before grabbing your shirt and pulling hard before looking down your robes. He seems confused for a few moments before nodding his head. "Yeah, that's a man."

"Why don't you ever correct anyone?' Luna asks putting her hands on her hips and looking slightly flustered.

"Three reasons, one it would take too long to correct everyone so I just let it go most times. Two, some people refuse to believe me no matter what I do, so saying it is useless and third...." You pause for dramatic effect before continuing. "There are some people who either do not care I am a man or find it preferable to the point."

"Ah..." Shimabuku and Luna say it at the same time before looking at each other.

The warp back to the dungeon is awkward.

You give no indication that the awkward mood has effected you in any way, despite Luna's mumblings of "That means we... during the walk and... when I was talking about them...." You manage to clear your way to the bottom of the dungeon and kick open a chest.

A swarm of goblins again jump out however you are ready for them and turn around and run full tilt. The group splits up and you pick them off one by one, lighting the bodies on fire with a torch where you can and making sure you do not get trapped in a corner. You manage to kill the final goblin chasing you and make it back to the room as soon as the others do the same.

You wait for a moment then hear the familiar screech. This time however instead of the gore forming into the "Nightmare scorpion" the ash from the bodies and fires fuse together to form a large spider. It takes a swipe at you, but you are able to nimbly dodge out of the way as Shimabuku jumps above it and drops like a stone onto its back, using his knee as a bomb. The spider attempts to jump away and out of his reach as he starts up on his combo, but luckily Luna is able to limit the creatures mobility with her scythe.

The creature seems to have decided to ignore Shimabuku and charge Luna, but a quick Buff/debuff combo has Luna spinning in an arc and piercing the spider through the middle. It screeches and then fades to nothing.

"An excellent fight Chen, er, you are still as graceful as ever I should say? Perhaps?" She asks, seemingly unsure.

"Hm? Of course I do, why wouldn't I?" You ask looking genuinely confused.

"I just mean... of course, your natural grace and modesty are to be commended, and are the same as always, ahhh." She seems to be trying to get the right words out but Shimabuku finishes her thought for her.

"No... if I do that we will both be in all sorts of danger." She whispers almost too soft to hear as you open the boxes.

As you are still in the party while you wait for Shimabuku to pawn all the items you make your way to the quest shop once more. As it is getting later into the evening there are fewer people mulling about. You make your way to the fountain and start to make your way to the quest shop when you see a familiar pair handing out flyers.

"Please, won't you join us in making the world a more enjoyable experience for everyone?"

"Come to a Moon Tree "Anti-Pking class! We will teach you how to have fun without hurting anyone's feelings!"

"With love and peace, Moon Tree is the way to go! It is the only way!"

Luckily, you are prepared. Once bitten, twice shy, as they say. You graduated top of your class, and were recruited into a top government agency. It would not be an exaggeration to say you are a sort of sexually ambiguous James Bond. You have tussled with Moon Tree once before, and you can handle this now.

Making your way around a small throng of people to a side street you grab the lid of two trash cans and climb a storm gutter up. You manage to put your fingers on the lip of a roof and pull yourself while remaining low so you can lay flat of the roof. You see the moon tree girl is busy trying to stop players from walking by the quest shop, so you have to time your throw just right. You ready the first lid and take aim at the back of a player's head at the front of a small group. Then they are all distracted by the moon tree girl's ranting you toss the lid perfectly and hit the man in the back of his head.

He looks around confused for a moment, then grabs the nearest guy. "It was you, wasn't it? Bastard, taking a cheap shot from behind! How about it, you wanna go?! I'll kick your ass!" He shouts shoving him further down the street.

(1/2)
>>
As the moon tree girl and boy move to break up the fight you remember everything you ever learned about martial arts and trickery before readying your next throw. They get close to the end of the road and are fighting on a dock with a boat resting on it. Deciding to risk it you channel the only man able to help you now and throw.

"I want no trouble" You whisper as the circular disk soars free and lands perfectly under the girl's foot causing her to fall and pull the boy with her right onto the boat. The rope, luckily, seems to have been fitted loosely and they go floating down the channel. You leap and grab hold of a pipe used to transport steam, using it to slowly slide back down to the street below.

You examine the quest options.

Bounty hunter exam lvl 10 book of power
Mecha grunty level 25 book of sense
Kill the serpent king lvl 32 rare item and book of life
Find my missing son lvl 20 Book of might

"Was that really necessary?" You hear a familiar voice call from behind you.

Turning, you see the young man in a hoodie from before, Snark he called himself you think.

You buy 20 smoke screens from the item shop then make your way to the Chaos Gate. As you walk you bring up the money and how generous it seems you should receive so much despite you keeping an item.

"It's not like it is costing us anything if we keep it, and I the rest of us can get gp where ever we want. Though it it is tearing you up so much you can't stand it, I'll happily take it back, ya know." Shimabuku shrugs clearly not concerned.

"Ah, I am sure it will look good on you. No, what I mean is, we benefit if you keep it, no, damn it." She takes a breath before talking again. "It is of no concern, as you also worked to acquire the items we sold. We did not want the item, and you did. Simple as that."

You enter the keywords and warp to a sunny field. You would almost mistake this for an ordinary field, except there are quite a few player's bodies laying around form PKers and there are no monsters.

You walk through the field of corpses and see a twin blade stabbing the body of a fallen girl repeatedly while muttering something. You decide to play it safe and let Shimabuku pounce him after getting seriously buffed. He runs forward at full speed before launching into a series of combos that leave the twin blade no time to respond. Within seconds he is down and each of you get a single kill tally on your quest sheet.

"This is pretty easy, guess that is all we should expect from a level 10 quest, huh?" Shimabuku sighs while gesturing for you to follow.

As you make your way through a small cave Luna pauses and seems to try and focus in on something. You drop a buff just to be safe and she spins in a full circle, creating a ring around her which catches the body of a descending edge punisher.
