“It really was pointless after all...” A young version of your blue haired Saber mumbled to a scruffy young girl with red hair in a ponytail. In Saber’s hands is a Flamberge Egg that likely once contained a shining gem, but now was blackened and dirtied. “Hope...Despair...It all has to balance out...I’m truly such a fool...” She whispers, the egg cracking slightly. There’s a silent whirlwind as the egg shatters, revealing a gunmetal sphere.

“Sayaka!” The red haired girl cries out as Saber’s body slumps to the ground lifelessly and an armored Mermaid arises in her place with an anguished howl. At the same time, the world around you warps and distorts, denying and assaulting your senses in new and frightening ways. And then, you are crushed and spread across the floor. You find yourself floating, unconnected to anything before you’re jerked in all directions simultaneously and find yourself sitting on a crane in a construction yard.

~Of course, since girls grow up to be women, then it is only logical for Magical Girls to grow up to be Witches.~ You find yourself saying as you stalk to the end of the crane’s boom.

You sit up in bed with a gasp, and Assassin looks at your worriedly from her chair and Caster snaps awake from his position at the foot of the bed.

~Master, is something wrong?~ He asks, sitting up. You work your mouth silently for a moment, before answering...

"What...What did you do?" You demanded from the white creature. Caster cleaned himself slightly like a cat before answering.

~You will have to be more specific, Master. I have done a great many things.~ Caster replied.

"Saber and Assassin and the red haired girl. Tell me what did you do to them." You ordered.

~I granted their wish in return for their assistance in fighting witches or demons depending on the timeline. It was part of a long term plan to assist in staving off the heat death of the universe.~ Caster answered, ~I took the most efficient means available to me in any given instance. I prepared the girls as best as possible for combat to assist in gathering the energy needed for such an endeavor. And should the girls fail, I had more systems in place to assist in recouping any energy losses. Everything I did was as much for them as it was for the universe. Am I correct in assuming that you have seen my memories, Master?~

"Yes. Yes, I saw what happened with Saber...with Sayaka..." You mumble.

~I see. Master, Sayaka-chan is already dead. Wasting time concerning yourself over her past actions prior to this Grail War are useless. Please, focus on the tasks at hand.~ Caster answers, seemingly unconcerned with what you witnessed. Part of your stomach churns at the thought of what happened to those girls, but the other part of you sees the logic in Caster's words.

Through the day, you manage to finish the mana generator and that night you head out into town. Caster is draped around your shoulders as you wait in the bushes near the school while Assassin roams the town with your familiar.

Halfway through the night, the enemy Archer attacks her from afar. Assassin grabs your familiar, and there's a flash of lightning and she's standing on a nearby telephone pole. The enemy Archer fires again, and again Assassin seems to flash and bringing herself and your familiar hundreds of feet away. This game of cat and mouse continues for some time, until soon you see Assassin with your own eyes, bursting out of a transforming and hitting the ground running. Behind her huffs an Archer on foot. "Get back here, you little rat!" She shouts, stopping on one telephone pole to notch an arrow and fire it. Assassin barely dodges and leaps into the school. Archer lets out a cluck of annoyance, staring at the school critically.

Just popping in to say that this is an incredibly appropriate typo.
>>
>>24212590
Thats only if anyone figures out it was our fault.

If anyone asks we just tell them that Servant Monster was unstable to begin with, on account of being summoned as MONSTER. The only ones in on the plan are us, Monster's Master (who we'll promptly kill to ensure his silence, he is a rival Master after all), and possibly Tomoko (who we can silence either with murder or seduction).
>>
>>24212590
Why would we allow the blame to be pushed onto us? All we would have to do would be to convince the other Masters that Monster herself witched out, and that we had no part in this.

The only problem would be assassin, as she would know the truth. however, even she can be manipulated to keep quiet. So long as we act as if we are interested in Tomoko Assassin would most likely be willing to overlook what we do, espcially as having Monster witch out will draw the other Masters and Servants out of hiding for us.

Alright. Remember, I wanted to play this guy as "mostly" heartless. There are things he won't do, but they're pretty bad. Basically like Kerry only not obsessed with helping/saving people. Not actively malicious, won't involve innocents if he doesn't have to, ect...

But, I must emphasize this, he also has practical reasons for this. Start going on killing sprees and you get a visit from Ciel or members of the Mage Association. They will be out for blood. We would very much like to continue living so we don't go full REJOICE mode. It's hard to inspire maximum suffering, and we don't much get a kick out of it. Indeed, feels a bit bad. So we avoid it if possible.

>>24212697
Exactly my point. 7th Holy Scripture will rape our shit. And she may or may not still be immortal. Another reason we do NOT piss off the church. Witches roaming about causing mass suicides will get their attention.

>>24212725
I'm basing the worst case scenario on Monster figuring it all out before she witches out. Becoming meguca is a massive power level boost. She turns that on us? We're boned. Hard. Up the ass. Without lube. For hours and hours and hours. As that is a very distinct possibility I voted against Wish but was overrulled. I told you all, you will regret that choice.

>>24212758
The other masters will know of the dream cycle if they don't already. They'll know we knew, if they think about it, and they will.
>>
This, you think to yourself, has got to be the most boring plan you've had the displeasure of sitting through. Archer spends most of the night moving from occasional telephone pole to telephone pole and sizing up the house, but never once makes a move. At about two in the morning she turns tail and leaves. You spend several tense minutes waiting for her to return before you manage to sneak out of your hiding place. John and Monster come out of the school with a nervous looking Assassin.

"Well, that failed. Try again some other night?" John suggested.

"Maybe, unless you have a better idea. We'll be in touch." You tell him, heading home with your two Servants.

You find yourself waking up late the next morning. You probably ought to...

To a normal human girl with no extraordinary powers, sure. To a Servant? Who the fuck knows, we're in uncharted territory here.

In any case, we probably won't have to deal with Meguca Monster for very long considering there is a distinct lack of Witches running around, so she'll have no way to purify her soul gem.

Remember, at the end of the day we're a Magus. This might be a once-in-a-universe opportunity to study how evil alien magic interfaces with a Servant. We must do it for MAGIC SCIENCE!

Bah, I knew we should have jumped her ass. If she wasn't going to barge in to the building at the beginning, she most certainly wasn't going to after having time to think about it.

Anyway, lets gather some Intel.
>>
>>24212889
At the very least they get EX Battle Continuation. Until you blow that gem apart they can't die, period. It also boosts endurance and agility by an absurd amount (see how fast a meguca can move? Imagine how fast a servant could given the same boost). So even damaging them to the point where you can easily target the gem is hard as fuck now. And monster has one HELL of a Stat sheet as is even without knowing her NP.

So yeah, me scared. Which is why I didn't even want to let the chance of that happening take place. I will say it a thousand times. You will all regret this, especially if we actually grant her wish. Best case scenario now is QB saying he can't establish a contract because she's already contracted to her master. He spends seal to break it and we kill his ass right after and RUN! She dies in an hour or two due to lack of mana, and we took out an enemy master without having to reveal our trump card. That's still a mostly good ending.

>>24212956
>an undetectable tank
That in itself is a terrifying concept if you think about it.
>>
>>24212792
>The other masters will know of the dream cycle if they don't already. They'll know we knew, if they think about it, and they will.

The point is that we don't let the other masters know that Caster caused Monster to witch out. The fact that WE KNOW that will happen is irrelevant.

There's no point in crying "But we didn't know Caster would cause that!" if someone finds out Caster did it. If we were in a situation where we were to say that, and for some reason the enemy Master/Servant/The Church let us live long enough to speak, then we probably already lost the war and will be killed shortly anyway. The idea is to not get in that situation to begin with by keeping our involvement a secret.
>>
>>24212993
In a sense he did not. QB made a good point. It was making the wish in the first place that was stupid. We merely provided them the opportunity to make that choice. But we let it happen. We knew about him, we could have told him not to do it, we could have spent a seal to make absolutely damn fucking sure he wouldn't do it... and we didn't.

Also, we met with monster ourselves along with QB. We're already involved to anyone who saw. If Rook lives long enough after she witches out he WILL report our sorry asses to the Church. They will listen, they will send executors. We will die. It'll be his final vengeance. He's into monster obviously, he'll do all he can to fuck the ones who destroyed his lover...
>>
>>24212897
I don't like you Kotomine, but like I said we have similar thought patterns. We do indeed live or die on intelligence in a grail war. You get it, now if only you'd get why some form of morality is actually quite logical...
>>
>>24213114
I think we've been thinking too much with our heads than our guts lately.
>>
You head out into town, Caster draped around your shoulder saying something about an SEP field or something keeping people from noticing him. You stop at locations through town, trying to find out anything you can. At one point, you come across a pawn shop whose owner is complaining about recent gun thefts. You also find out about a family of orphans that just moved into town a week ago. The eldest is working at some news station and the second eldest is going to your college. You also pick up that a young woman at the college who's caught your eye once or twice has been sick an awful lot, lately. And there's been sightings of a ship suspected to be involved with a recent case of piracy off the shore in the pacific. With a sigh, you collapse onto a park bench. While you've found plenty of information out, you don't know if any of it is useful. With a sigh, an older man sits down next you. His black hair is greasy and mangy, and he's wearing a flannel shirt and worn jeans. "Penny for your thought?" He offers.

Guts only get you so far. True thinking is superior to guts. The problem is that most people have limited minds, SEVERELY limited minds. They don't even get what I'm asking when I say: "I have two coins in my pocket that amount to 30 U.S. Cents. One of them isn't a Nickel."

I get a blank stare or an "I give up" 9 times out of 10. Think people. Truly think. The answers is there, right in front of you. You just have to think outside your own self imposed box... Most never even try.

A flash of instinct can make that happen, in the moment, but it can't make it happen 24/7. You want to be in that mode all the time if possible. If you are, you have become a true genius.

Relax, spend some time with friends or family. Or see if they can deal with your problem. Don't wast all your time focused on one thing." He told you.

Also, I just realized that this is a great scenario because of a little addendum I just thought up. It'd let us give Tomoko "The Talk" I mentioned, we just add..

"Everything has a price Tomoko. Nothing in this world is free, nothing. This world is no utopia, indeed, this world is structured in such a way so as to make utopia impossible. This war? This is the price for our wish. If you somehow win, the price has been paid. You risked your life, you did horrible things, and you won. You paid the price, even if you don't realize it. That is why you can have your wish. I saved them from paying that price in the process of paying it myself, I have even paid a part of your price myself in the event I lose. Someone. Always. Pays. Nothing, NOTHING, is free. If you don't understand that, then you have no business being in this war. I do, I understand, I am willing to pay. Ask yourself, what is worth all of this for you? Can you pay the price? Are you willing to pay it like I am? Even love involves pain, you will be hurt by those you love. Is love worth it? I think so, and I am willing to suffer in order to experience it if I find one who is worthy. Are you?"

To have such a talk reveals much without the right trigger, might even convince her to kill us. Lectures of Hazama combined with a bit of heart can make people do things, deadly things.

We don't want to tip our hand until we must. Killing monster in that way seems like a dick move, but from a logical, "mostly heartless" perspective, it is not. We do care, in our own way, because we fucking know. Our origin is mind, we think. It is our nature, we can't not.

To "awaken" the average mundane requires a trigger. They have to see something, experience something, that shakes their own naivete. We will tell her why she was shaken, why things work the way we do, and because of the trigger she won't be able to deny it. We will wake her up even if it is in our dying breaths. Someone has to win this war. If it isn't us, it will be our first ally. Our involvement in this war will have a purpose. Even if it isn't the purpose we would have liked. All things happen for a reason, all things have a price...

You turn around sharply and run after him. He notices you and starts running away surprising some of the nearby pedestrians. He manages to leave the park disturbingly quickly, and you're having trouble keeping up by the time you're chasing him in the streets. He expertly dodges cars, weaving through the moving traffic on foot. Two or three more alleyways later and you're barely keeping him in sight and your chest is burning. You were never that great at physical activities, and your self reinforcement is weak.

We have an Assassin Meguca. Send her after him. She can keep tabs on him while we chill with Sayaka and formulate other plots. We are Caster's master, and we are smart. We can multitask, and we will because that's the best way to win. Information people... That's what decides the war. Power levels mean shit, compared to the power of the mind. We be Xel'lotath, he's Ulyaouth. We, by our origin, are his natural enemy...

The instant he realizes he's being followed we pull her back of course. Don't want to reveal our cards to more than the too many we've already revealed them to.

You slow down to a stop, panting heavily. Caster jumps down to land at your feet and glances at you curiously.

~Master, should I have someone sent after him?~ Caster asks.

"No...No, we want to avoid tipping our hand any further." You warn him. Caster nods in agreement. "Let's just head home." You say. Caster hops back up and you make your way home slowly. Sayaka greets you at the front door.

"Master? Did something go wrong?" She asks worriedly.

"Nothing. Just...met someone involved in the war." You answer.

"Ah...Then will we dealing with them tonight?" She asked.

I'm not too sure about taking Hoboman's advice now. If he's a Master, he might just be fucking with us.

>-[]How?
Lets have Assassin bait her again, but this time Monster will try for a gank in mid-chase. Archer is obviously too cautious to just wander into a trap, so we'll have to resort to an open-field fight.
>>
>>24214454
Should we take his advice?
Is he tricking us, or looking out for us?
Why do I have a feeling that he is (one of) Archer(s) Master(s)?
I think we should ask John about Archer's "Masters."
>>
>>24214586
this.
>>
>>24214586
One of the other choices we had at the beginning reeked of a Souren Araya. That's archer's master. She has connections. Why? Because she controls them on one level or another. She's been seen with multiple people for a reason. The reason is because they are her puppets somehow. She's pulling the same ploy we are from a different angle. We want to trick people into thinking we have a different servant than we do, she wants to trick people into thinking her servant has a different master. Think people, think outside your box. Our origin is mind, we get it on an instinctual level because of that. We figured out the ancient riddle of the two doors because of that. We think, most don't. Think people, THINK!
>>
>>24214685
She's crafty... but she's not as smart as us. She probably gave us that information through the Hobo to talk us into forgetting about her plans. I'm sure that if we keep pushing and find her, she'll end up trying the diplomatic approach and stab us in the back.

Indeed. She's Araya. We can't trust shit. I still reccomend we send Meguca Assassin after him. Araya was a puzzle, we will solve it, we will trace the strings of her puppetry back to where they go if we can without her knowing it. Info, info decides who gets the grail. We be pic related if we can help it. We will solve this case, and our allies will love us for it.

>-[]How?

Fuck that crusty homeless bastard. He's clearly working with Archer and trying to throw us off the scent.

Lets just go with >>24214577 and pull a surprise doubleteam. We still need to give Coobie time to gather data to see if Monster is suitable for a Contract, so even if Archer gets away we still benefit.
>>
>>24215266
If you think Coobie granting a contract is a good thing... Boy do I have news for you.
>>
>>24215344
We've been over this. Its not a "good" thing, but we're not necessarily a "good" guy. It benefits us because it takes her out of the running for the Grail, and if we're lucky she'll fuck up another Servant or two when she witches out, while we eat popcorn well outside of minimum safe distance.
>>
"I don't know, yet. I need to get some info first." You tell Sayaka, pulling out your cellphone and giving John a ring.

"Rook here." He answers on the second ring.

"Yeah, I need you to tell me what you know about Archer's Masters." You tell him.

"Well, where to begin. I haven't much on them, besides the fact that they're related by blood. As well, they seem to be from a new image family. I got a little on their father, he was attempting to mimic the Edlefelt crest. They're comprised of two young men and a teenage girl." John tells you.

"Right. Thanks." You say, hanging up. Now that you know a little more, you decide to....

Haven't heard of the "edlefelt" family. What was their crest pray tell? If we know of it IC that is...

>>24215471
Araya had a whole apartment building of people under his control. When I say puppets, I mean people who are under the control of someone else. The people in that building? yeah, they were his bitches. Thus, his puppets.
>>
>>24214577
all this
>>
>>24215513
Edelfelt are a lot like the Tohsaka, but its said that they can split their crest amongst heirs.
>>
>>24215389
Oh, and I'm back, now. got everything straightened out
>>
>>24215471
He used other people as puppets. Ghost chick from the first movie who had people commit suicide? Araya gave her the power to do that.
Fujino, the girl in the third movie who was raped repetitively, went on a murdering spree because she could suddenly feel pain again? Araya did it.
Everything from the 5th movie, obviously, was by Araya.
Guy who spoke the original language from the 6th movie? Was summoned by Araya and he took his damn sweet time getting there.
2nd and 7th movies with Lio? Araya awoke his Orgin and gave him the insane marijuana. Oh, he also stopped Shiki from killing Kouktou because that was not as planned.
>>
>>24215586
Ah, knew it sounded somewhat familiar. Knew there was one family that could violate the "Only one Heir" rule. Still not good, for us I mean. Would suck to face multiple magi with a crest after all...
>>
>>24215639
I'm glad we're not fighting two with the actual Edlefelt crest that teamed up. Together they can summon two Servants for the price of one. Both Servants are really two aspects of the same spirit though. In the 3rd war it was used to get a good Saber and an evil Saber.

...Wait a--

Also OP, must ask. How many generations has our MC's family been into magic? Kayneth had a bit of a point, though I do ultimately agree with Waver...
>>
>>24215720
You're a fifth or sixth generation mage, its unclear because its uncertain which generation truly finished the crest and began passing it on. Your family records are a little spotty, and the Association tends to ignore your family's existence as an affront.

>>24215772
UBW takes time to cast, do you really think we'll let him get it off if we can help it?
>>
>>24215858
If one Archer provides cover for the other, giving then each to get a line or two of UBW off in turn, then yes, duelspammed UBW.

Also assuming that they did summon Archerko.

"We're going to pull a variant on our trick from last night. Except this time, Monster will strike early." You tell Sayaka, "And I'll also appreciate it if you stay at the ready tonight."

"Certainly, Master." She answers.

------------

That night you await in the docks with John as Assassin bounds about dodging Archer's attacks. "Monster, if you would." You say. The straw haired woman nods, and leaps away to intercept Archer and Assassin. Watching through Assassin's eyes, you spot Monster appear from behind Archer, four spider legs arching around her body to stab at the young woman in red and black. Just as she's about to strike, you get knocked out of the connection as John tackles you.

"John, what-!?" You begin, but stop when you see the sword that in the space where you just were. Holding it is a well toned arm attached to a rather familiar looking man. "You." You say stiffly as you and Jonh scramble further back. Caster moves to sand next to you, keeping his eye on the man. Slightly behind him is a young girl, probably in her teens.

~Saber is on her way.~ Caster advised you.

"Archer's master." John greeted her with a slight incline of his head.

"Monster's Master. And Assassin's, I presume." She replies, "You're not the only one with a new friend. Meet Saber."

>>
>>24216300
ok.
actually this gives us an utter advantage because they have no clue coobie is caster.
is there some bullshit thing he can cast as caster right now or are we gonna have to think on our feet because that may be true saber if it is musashi, and if thats the case we lose hard in a open fight like this.
>>
>>24216132
Ok guys, calm your tits. Showing your back to the enemy is a great way to get dead fast.

Have Caster pump power into our Saber, we need her here yesterday. Also prepare a Lancer summon, Battle Continuation will let them buy us plenty of time, and (assuming they haven't met the real Lancer) it'll throw the enemy for a loop.

In the meantime, try to get them talking. They THINK both our Servants are tied up with Archer. Let them KEEP thinking that.
>>
>>24216328
QB can teleport. But we don't know if we can ever survive that.
>>
>>24216294
I actually liked Sayaka, but we need someone to buy time and well, we ain't got much choice if we want ourselves to live through this very, very bad turn for the worse without using our trump card.

We order her to buy us time. She might be able to get away after we have, but we have to risk her now. Buy. Us. Time. MEGUCA!!! Boost her if we must, we must get away. And have her survive if possible. Our megucas are disposable, but not all that disposable, if you catch my meaning.

>>24216339
I like you!
>>
>>24216313
If she comes as a Ruler, then hurrah, OHKO.
If she comes as a normal meguca, hurrah, meat shield while we get the fuck out of there.
>>24216353
I meant our newly summoned Joan of Arc Saber/Rule to fight them to the death, not Sayaka.
>>
>>24216343
well i like teleport, because that allows for all kinds of spacial bullshit because of the fact he could just switch places with his magical girls whenever fighting to be confusing the shit out of everyone.

i was still more wondering if there was some sort of offensive type thing eh could do besides crap medukas errywhere though.
>>
>>24216371
Taking out saber would indeed really help us. That is the servant that fucks Caster over the most after all, dat A rank magic resistance, tis the bane of our existance...
>>
>>24216371
big problem is IC we don't have a damn clue if he contracted joan of arc or not.
if we knew exactly who he has to use IC then we probably would have already won the war along time ago.
>>
>>24216372
We have not asked QB for all of his abilities and I do not like this.
He can teleport, he's kindof/immune to mental magic, he can grant wishes and summon megucas. Plus alien magic nobody knows about.
>>
>>24216339
Yes. This.

>>24216353
If possible we should sacrifice a Lancer before we sacrifice Sayaka. Musashi is a duelist, so he'll probably butcher poor Sayaka in short order.

Plus if we have Sayaka fight him they're almost sure to realize we have Caster, since there can't be two Sabers running around. If they haven't met the actual Lancer yet, they might just think we're allied with him as well.
>>
>>24216412
The only possible way to get this information is to risk asking our waifu Tomoko about it.
>>
>>24216420
If he has a way to fuck shit up now is the time for him to fucking use it!

>>24216426
You are right, I admit. Time for the lancer. Just hope he doesn't burn Kyoko yet. She's got something damn close to an NP. Want to save a servant like that for later if we can.
>>
>>24216420
OOC we also know he probably has methods of not dying as well, because of his cloning shenanigans in PPMM
so the big thing is how do WE get out of this, i really don't have many worries about caster right now.
>>
>>24216443
From >>24216443

After all, he did say he could summon one more meguca if we REALLY needed it. And ya know, we need it now, like, RIGHT THE FUCK NOW!

However, this will tip our hand to our allies. Then again, surviving now takes precedence over hiding our shit from our "allies"...
>>
>>24216450
UNLESS those were non-magical clones. We still never found out if they were other Incubators with QB's consciousness or copies.
>>
>>24216443
Ideally, I'm hoping a third Servant showing up on our side will spook them into retreating.

Thinking about it from their perspective, 2v3 against a Lancer and two Gank classes isn't an attractive prospect, even for Saber and Archer.

"Caster? Give Saber as much power as you can. Get her here as quickly as you can." You mutter before raising your voice as you and John back away cautiously, "Say, John. I could go for some Tea right about now." You say rather loudly.

"Don't worry. I'm certain they serve tea in the afterlife." The glasses wearing girl offered, bringing her hand up in fists as if she's going to fight you. She takes several strides forward, her movement disturbing the low hanging fog.

"Oh? Will you verify that for us please?" A familiar voice says as tthe girl suddenly stumbles and blood wells up underneath her shirt. Behind her stands Assassin, glaring down at the girl as she bleeds to death.

"You cur!" Saber exclaims, swinging to attack Assassin as she leaps out of the way, jumping into the growing banks of fog.

"Ah ah." Assassin taunts as she fades from view. As she does so, Sayaka bursts through the fog from behind you, charging Saber down. Saber curses defending against Sayaka's wild and desperate blows and stabbing her through the chest. She slumps forward slightly, dropping her two swords. Saber grunts, and moves to pull his sword out of her chest when her head snaps up and she grabs his sword with one hand and summons a saber to her other. He clucks his tongue in annoyance and abandons his sword in her chest.

"You've won this battle, then." He accedes before jumping back into the mist as well, disappearing from sight. Sayaka stands there, panting heavily, ignorant of the sword sticking through her body.

a few of those are me. In all I just want us to live. Any way is fine by me, just somehow not die now without using our ultimate trump card. Summoning a sacrificial Lancer is the best option from that perspective, I'm just praying Jack saves us before it completes, as that keeps us from tipping our hand if it goes down like that.

QB can theoretically port us away, hopefully ports Rook too, as that would show a stalking Jack that we give a shit about our allies. That is good, because she can sneak through our barrier and gut us in our sleep.

1. John is probably wondering why the shit a little-girl Saber AND another Assassin just showed up. Make sure he doesn't flip the fuck out.

2. Medical attention for poor Sayaka.
If she operates like a normal Servant, she should recover assuming the wound isn't cursed (Musashi never used a demonic blade to my knowledge), but this is our first time having a pseudo-servant wounded, lets not take chances.

FUCK! It's Araya bitch clone then, and Jack just revealed "Holy Mother of Dismemberment" to everyone present. Oh well, better Tomoko tip her hand than we tip ours. We "mostly" heartless, not totally heartless, but logic is the ultimate process through which we make decisions.

Something off the type-moon Wiki on Jack the Ripper's skills:

>Information Erasure (情報抹消, Jōhō Masshō?) is the removal of information regarding the Servant's true name, abilities, and appearance from the records and memories of all witnesses, including the opponent, following the conclusion of an engagement.

> B: This effect is enforced even within digital recordings by a closed-circuit camera in broad daylight. However, evidence of the engagement is not removed from the scene, and by way of logical deduction, the Servant's identity may be revealed.
>>
>>24217027
Oh yeah, forgot about that little tidbit.

Goddamn Jack is scary. I'm glad we've got a dick, and that our Servant is a marshmallow cat made out of broken dreams. Sucks for the Meguca if we ever have to fight her, but at least she can't insta-gank the two of us who really matter.

"Ah, Saber. Are you alright?" You ask her, moving up to help her out.

"I'm fine, Master. I just need more mana to heal this with." She said, pulling the japanese sword out of her with some difficulty. The wound begins to seal itself as you watch, small musical notes surrounding it. She inspects it for a few moments before tossing it aside. "Not even a Noble Phantasm." She muttered darkly.

"So...courtesy of the third Master you told me about?" John asked, gestruing to the deceased girl on the ground where Assassin was now standing.

"Yes. John, meet Assassin. Assassin, meet John." You introduce.

"...Monster is coming." Assassin warns suddenly, moving to stand over by you and Saber. The brown dressed woman appears as if out of thin air next to John. She's bleeding from several wounds, and there's no sign of your own Assassin.

"I'm sorry." She says when she notices your gaze, grabbing her Master and disappearing.

"...I can kill her, if you want." Assassin offered silently.

We hold off. We don't backstab, we front-stab. Also, Our enemy has Saber as an ally, and she has Archer. That's 2 out of 3 Knight classes. We need all the help we can get. We spare them, at least until one of those fuckers is good and dead. We also have a reputation to maintain. Like I said, it is most logical to have one built up. If people know you are not a backstabber, they are much more likely to trust you instead of simply killing you. Unlike Kotomine, I believe morality has a most cold and logical basis. Humanity would not believe in it were that not the case. Thus, I advocate being moral in most cases. Because it is logical, not because I have a bleeding heart. Well yeah, in truth I do, but I don't let my tears blind me if ya catch my meaning. Pic is my kind of person.

Also, in the event our Assassin died, I want her name.

She may have just been a summoned shade of a someone already long-dead, but she wasn't an automaton. She got scared, she drank our cocoa. Even if she wasn't truly alive, it would do us well to remember the names of those who sacrifice themselves to ensure our victory.
>>
>>24217167
Also, we a cleaner now. Make sure that master doesn't find the body. We can't let her use it to get past Information Erasure. We will protect Tomoko, and ourselves in this process. Cremate the body with magic if we can. No evidence, no witnesses. Logic demands this.

"Not right now. We might still be able to use her." You tell Assassin. She shrugs and turns to the young girl on the ground. It truly is too bad what had to happen to her, but she did show up at a fight amongst Servants. Assassin crouches down and begins workings on the body with her array of knives. You leave her to her work and turn to Caster. "Caster, what's the status on our Assassin?" You ask him.

~She took a fatal blow when the enemy Saber stabbed her in the back on his way to support Archer. She managed to at least strike back at him with a small burst of her energy, however. Had I been paying attention I could have perhaps supported her enough that she might have survived.~ Caster answered, ~As well, I can confirm that I can grant Monster her wish. But it may have unintended side effects that I cannot predict, both due to her nature as a Servant and due to her inhuman nature. I would not be comfortable granting such a wish, but if you request it, I shall grant it.~

We want monster on our side and we have the Tech route still. And if QB isn't comfortable with granting it, I know for damn sure I don't want to against him. If the Devil himself is uncomfortable with something, you fucking KNOW it's a bad idea with a capital B.
>>
>>24217432
[X]Don't grant it, we'll find another way.
All she needs is power. We have the generators and that is all she needs. The only reason she would turn on us is if:
>1 She realizes WHAT she is doing. After the wish.
>2 We straight up leave them.
>>
>>24217432
>[]Grant it

"Even if something goes horribly wrong, we can at least use her to lure out the other Servants. I doubt the Knight classes would overlook an out-of-control Monster rampaging through the city."

ALSO, two things to do before granting it:

1. Give Tomoko the full scoop. Explain to her that even if there are side-effects (which there will be, muahahahaha), that Monster will at least have her wish fulfilled, rather than dying in the Grail War before she can achieve her goal.

2. Explain to Monster that there may be side effects. If the fulfillment of her wish requires her to remain alive and well, give her the chance to back out. I doubt she will though, since as all serious participants in the Grail War know, some Wishes are worth dying for.
>>
>>24217432
So we lost our assassin? Damn, I liked her. Oh well, this is a war after all. Casualties are inevitable. If only we could have given her another cup of coco...

QB sac'd her because he wanted to free up a space for someone else. He was paying attention, he just made a coldly logical choice. He has no emotion people. He has but one goal, and will do anything to achieve it. Indeed, this might be a ploy to get us to burn a seal to resummon her. He's that kind of asshole...

But lets been Coobs opinion on that matter secret. Just say the he is still unsure.
>>
>>24217432
>[]Don't grant it, we'll find another way

If Coobie doesn't want to grant a Wish, thats a pretty big red flag. The little guy is crazy for wishes.

We'll look into the mana generator route next i guess. In any case, a continued alliance with Monster is a good idea if two of the Knight classes have teamed up.

Oh, and COOBIE, WHAT WAS ASSASSIN'S NAME? We must show proper respect to the fallen.
>>
>>24217547
Indeed, no need to reveal all the information. Just say that he's still unsure and that the Tech Route is still pretty much guaranteed to work.

Also, if we get our wish granted, we can grant theirs much, much faster. Remind them of that.
>>
>>24217599
But maybe he's pulling everyone's leg. They only die if the soul gem is shattered. Unless Saber landed a hit on it somehow, she's technically not dead, just looks like it. A bit more mana and she's good as new.
>>
>>24217626
Something just occurred to me:

The Grail won't grant a wish until only 1 Servant remains. If we fulfill Monster's wish via the Tech route, that means she's alive, and consequently the Grail won't be filled.

We either need to hack the Grail (not impossible i suppose, since we've got Caster), or this won't work out in the long run.
>>
>>24217663
Now ya thinking! We DO have caster, it's pretty much his job to hack it. It's like... A tradition!
>>
>>24217653
Remember our pseudo-servants aren't proper Meguca. They're just shades summoned by Caster's Noble Phantasm, and as such don't have Soul Gems.

If they did, they'd start exploding into Witches if we kept them around too long.
>>
>>24217679
And what can't ya do with alien maguc?
>>
>>24217679
Forgot to add, we ARE planning on killing our little bastard at the end. Can't trust him for shit. So we can still make it all work out, because we ain't too keen on QB surviving this war.

>>24217684
Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps our mana is cleaning those gems as they're used up. We don't know everything yet.

Plans of hacking the grail is a prerequisite of being summoned as a Caster.
We should work on this. Perhaps summon a Caster Meguca, send her to a ley line to gather mana to send to coobie. After that...
...How do we hack a grail again
>>
>>24217711
Well assuming it functions basically like the one in Fuyuki, we would first need to find the Great Grail (the giant-ass magic circle that facilitates the whole ritual) and start poking at it.

okay, maybe a bit hasty on my part, but I'm thinking monster's a bit more durable than our assassin, and since the blade musashi used wasn't even a phantasm it would be like paper cuts to a real servant, minus Tsubame-gaeshi type hax swords moves. Maybe its late and I'm tired, so I'm gonna let that bit go, but... well, monster's a scheming servant in any case

Oh... oh my. Taking a look at Archer's stats now, and they've removed all doubt from my mind that it's Archerko.
Aside from Agility, Mana, Magic Resistance (which are all a rank up), and Alignment, they're identical to EMIYA's stats. Keeping in mind that Archerko is just Ilya with Shirou's powers, those changes make sense.

Archer's stats for reference:

>Spirit: EMIYA
>Japanese name of spirit: エミヤ
>Master: Rin Tohsaka
>Alignment: True Neutral
>Strength: D
>Endurance: C
>Agility: C
>Mana: B
>Luck: E

Ugh, that counters us hard. Our NP is good, but its not Army of the King good.

>>
>>24218206
Noticed that myself, was too tired to go verify it for sure. Not sure if she has all of is shit, especially Eye of the Mind. But I'm not totally familiar with that character. I ain't a Nasuverse Encyclopedia. Getting Eye of the Mind (true) means you've been through a fucking ton of battles.

We can still punch through UBW though. It's still pretty much Army of the King, and who the hell said we'd just charge like Iskander? No, we surround her with megucas and attack from all sides (including from above, never forget the 3rd dimension). It's at least "Delusional Illusion" good. Assassin got fucked because he just up and revealed all his clones. If he had been truly serious he might have been able to gank someone before going down.

>>24218237
Good point. I said Tomoko lucked out by meeting us, perhaps we lucked out a bit as well. She can kill anyone who lacks a dick, we are there to kill anyone who does. It's a profitable relationship.
