He's still moving around. It's been about 20 minutes. I can see the tear in it's abdomen from the stinger being ripped out. You can sort of see it on the first pic. Do you think I can glue it shut and he'll be ok?

Yes, with a cyanoacrilate glue.

Make sure the Germans treat it as if it was no different from one of them. If the players ask where they found a huge spider, they should be confused.

Good. Let her dry for a moment. After she asphyxiates, take her apart, give her a wash, and redo her.

At the climax of the campaign, the big reveal is that Hitler is actually a giant spider too. If you want to go for a horror route, make it so that he can only feed on the blood of Jews. Otherwise, he's just a big ol'spider filled with hate.

No, they breathe through holes in their skin called spiracles, it's not the same. It's like saying humans breathe through their skin because they have holes in their head that permit breathing.

I can't tell if this is horrifying, adorable, sad, or some combination of all three.

I remember when during winter I found a bee on my balcony. She wasn't moving much and i'm scared of bees to be honest, due to the sting.

Regardless, I picked her up and placed her in the warm light of my desklamp. Within minutes she was up and moving, her body regaining control from the cold's wintry grasp. I saw her about to take off, so I placed her outside and waved as she flew back to safety and warmth of the hive.

I felt proud that day.

When a bee stings you it's stinger stays in your skin when it pulls away because the stinger is barbed. The stinger pulls all the insides out of the bee and they die. Bees only sting once because of this and they know what happens so a bee stinging you feels threatend or provoked. A wasp on the other hand has no barbed stinger and can sting you many times.

There is the terrible truth anons.

Well she's barely moving now. I put her in a sealable plastic bag. I know it's cruel, but letting her live almost 2 and a half hours after being disemboweled is even more cruel. Goodnight princess. I'll pick up a dreadnaught next time I go to a store and I'll make a thread for it.

For the record, OP, suffocation is the worst of all possible ways for an insect to die. It isn't quick like it is for mammals, poor Bee-chan suffered the entire time she was in the bag.

In the future, if you wish to grant a merciful death to an insect, expose it to alcohol. Because of the spiracles they breathe through, the alcohol will instantly enter the insect's bloodstream in lethal amounts. A few seconds of numbing euphoria and then its over.

Insects love booze, but booze does not love insects. They'll jump right in and willingly die for a taste of it. It's why leaving out a shallow bowl with a pool of beer in it is so effective at getting rid of garden pests like slugs and crickets.
