>Apologies for being an hour later. Was watching Oblivion. It was pretty bitchin.

You are ex-Captain JAGER STURMFUHRER, a former Gallian officer now turned mercenary. Even though the Gallian/Imperial War is over, Europan War II still rages on, and there's a high demand for experienced soldiers. You've got your own reasons to fight, though. You're still hunting down your former fiance who betrayed you and joined the Imperials.

But first, you need to get a squad!

"Demons of Randgriz? Really?" Samantha raises an eyebrow as she doublechecks the filled out form you handed her. "It sounds a bit, I dunno, evil?"

"Anyways," She continues, "before we start buying equipment, we need to get at least a squad together. I've been looking through some applications, and while there's a bunch I'd rather not associate with, there's a few gems I think we can get."

"And remember! We need a BALANCED squad, this time! I don't want to the only-"

>Well shit, what's Samantha's class again? (choose one)

>TANKER: A soldier who specializes in driving vehicles of all kinds, particularly tanks.
>SCOUT: Fast and stealthy troops who specialize in recon and ambushes.
>SHOCKTROOPER: Basic frontline infantry who is though and specializes in close quarters combat.

>SNIPER: A soldier who specializes in extremely long range warfare.
>LANCER: An anti-tank specialist.

"I don't want to be the only lancer again, Cap! It's always 'tank on left, Sam, take it out!' 'tank on the right, Sam, go get it!'"

"I'll be sure to keep that in mind." You laugh. "To be fair, we didn't even fight all that much in the Gallia/Imp war."

"YOU never fought much!"

"Sam," You groan. "We've been over this already. Can you please not gloat over the fact you have more combat experience than me?"

"No." Sam cracks a smile. "Anyways, you've got some reading to do, Cap."

She drops a pile of papers and folders onto your desk, causing the whole thing to tremble under the weight.

"With our current finds, I'm thinking we can maybe hire on another six people."

"And your read through all this already?" You say, eyeing papers like they were a landmine.

"Yup! Gotta share the misery with someone, you know!"

"Wonderful."

We should be careful on what kind of people we get. I mean, it's one thing to have a militia group of any and everyone cause that's what they are, any and everyone...but a company is different. If we get some Yggdists and then hire on a bunch of Darcsens, there's going to be serious trouble that we brought on ourselves.

Personally, I say Darcsens and sympathizers (or apathetic to the whole issue) would be best. We can probably get them cheaper too.
>>
Oh right, and I think I'll be changing up the stats a bit, since on second thought the current system might be a bit too unwieldy. Stats will now be direct modifiers which can only be increased by investing xp you gain in battle. Every time you level up you can also increase your primary OR secondary stat for free.

1. Berry Sunshine

2. Female

3. >SOLDIER: You fight for your men. Complete the mission with minimal casualties on your side.

4: >WAR VETERAN: You've fought in both Europan Wars.

5. >CAREER: You don't know how to do anything else.

6. >ENGINEER: A support class with a wide array of skills.

There are people that can kill, and then there are people like Berry. Capable of disarming a bomb and using the same wires to patch a wounded comrade, she was always sent in ahead of main forces to prepare the way. While she is a capable shot, she relied on others to help her complete the missions, many of which helped save the lives of countless soldiers.

It's based on a character I named during an X-Com livestream. She was eating by a Chrysalid during the base assault.

Kristoph Konigson

Male

Sniper

Lives to make hard shots. Killing is an unfortunate and unavoidable consequence, but he hates violence. Wants to save all his comrades, wouldn't mind saving his enemies either.

An Imperial turncloak, he thought the war would be more challenging on the other side. Always happy, except when fighting, then he's ecstatic.
>>
>>24367955
Nope, I'm making it a point not to involve canon characters.
>>
>>24367981

>>

Its the art of making the shot. Its unfortunate that the bullet kills when it hits, and he avoids killing when possible, but the test of skill is what he lives for and he can only find it in battle.
>>
>>24368039
Ahh, okay. Now I get you.
>>
Name: Aleksandr Petrovich

Gender: Male

Class: Sniper

Personality: A loner by nature and shy, he prefers to stay out of the way away from everyone else. Not fond of Imperials.

Background: Born as a bastard son of one of the Alliance's noble houses, Aleksandr was orphaned at an early age, and what little inheritance he received was barely enough to go by. Moving to Gallia to try and escape his origins, he had his hard-earned livelihood destroyed by the Second Europan War, forcing him to seek a living as a soldier.
>>
>>24367777
One more for now.

1. Brillant Coraza

2. Male

3. Archetype: >MERCENARY: You only care for yourself. Complete the mission by any means necessary.

4: Choose background: >NOBILITY: You've had a high rank in the army, but never done any actual fighting.

5. Reason for becoming a mercenary. >MONEY: A soldier's gotta make a living.

6. Class: Scout

An upperclass foreign nobleman, his homeland has experienced upheavel in the royal house and raging winters, keeping them out of the war. He has offered his services to fight for his land by proxy. He has training, but the he's been sheltered all his life, making it easy for him to get lost, no matter where he is.

Wallace Bissell
Male

Shocktrooper

A devout believer in the divinity of the Valkyria, but NOT a Yggdist. He thinks they're posers and pretenders who spend too much time hating on the insignificant Darcsens. He's too busy serving the Holy Blue Flame to hate the Dark-Hairs.

One of the few survivors of the Valkof's decimation of the militia. She heat from the blast caused his face, and body to be covered with horrid ragnite burns. He views them as divine blessings, and (since most of his pain receptors have been burned away) he charges into battle with an insane zeal...also he may possibly be hiding a slightly creepy photo-shrine to the Known Valkyria in his personal footlocker.
>>
>>24367696
Name: Devlin Leonhart
Gender: Male
Class: Tanker
Personality: Wise-cracking, all around fun loving, nice guy. Known to crack terrible puns at any given opportunity.
BG: Coming from a poor background, he followed in his father's footsteps to join the services (at the behest of said father). He spent a little time in the army before eventually leaving after an altercation involving another squad mate left him with little options.
>>
So here are some of the pregens.

NAME: Joe Ramirez
GENDER: Male
CLASS: Shocktrooper
PERSONALITY: Pretty easygoing and pretty much fearless. Considers danger a challenge.
BRIEF BACKGROUND: Has been a merc from the very beginning, and has roamed countless battlefields as a freelancer. As a result, he's picked up a very broad skillset.

NAME: Tarin Richards
GENDER: Female
CLASS: Scout
PERSONALITY: Aloof and professional. Takes her job very seriously.
BRIEF BACKGROUND: Started out as a Darcsen partisan before seeking refuge in Gallia. Joined the Gallian Militia as a guerrilla fighter when the Imperials invaded.

NAME: Ronald Paccone
GENDER: Male
CLASS: Engineer
PERSONALITY: A real nice guy and a classic Münchhausen-type. Also likes flirting with girls. Especially younger ones...
BACKGROUND: Works as a traveling mechanic, seemingly appearing right when he is needed.

NAME: Julia Beech
GENDER: Female
CLASS: Tanker
PERSONALITY: A bit of an odd one. Loves tanks and vehicles in general. Also a real penny pincher.
BACKGROUND: She claims to have fought with the Gallian army since EWI, despite the fact she looks half the age she should be.
>>
Let's just pick one of the unused names off my list here...

Mack Burness
Male
Age: 27
Tanker
Rather tall for a tank driver at 2.3m. Beefy, hairy arms and chest, sporting perpetually messy dark brown hair and green eyes. Perpetual five o'clock shadow.
He is rarely found sober and has a taste for danger. Claims he can run a tank off of his homebrewed whiskey.
Mack was a farmer before the war stole all the ragnite and left him penniless and divorced. His tractor driving skills got him sent to tank school soon after he joined the military. They realized their mistake not long afterwards.

>>
>>24367896
Sasha
Female (Darcsen)

Scout

Headstrong, fearless, camo genius, hates sleeping under a roof.

'Darcsen do not retaliate.' Right, Sasha was probably out sick when that message got passed around. Not that she fights people, nah...that's boring and people get mad and either shoot you, lock you up, put you in the Nameless, or worse. Sasha picks fight with nature. Animal, plant, geographic landmark, Sasha plans to either skin it, catalogue/burn it, or climb that sucker and plant a Darcsen pattern flag in it. She's got no time for civilization, she has a warm fur hat, and a woods to conquer.
>>
>>24368233
>NAME: Tarin Richards

If she's a Darcsen, she shouldn't have a last name.

(also did Heloise not make the cut?)
>>
>>24368289
Berry got two replies at least, and Brillant was the only suggested Scout.

Julia

>>
>>24368542

>>24368671

>>
>>24368612
>>24368617
>>24368617
It's three to one, so Julia seems to be our Tanker.

Joe: Shocktrooper
Tarin: Scout
Brillant: Scout
Julia: Tanker

We're missing a sniper, engineer, and lancer.

>>24368632
>>24368647
>>24368662
With these, we can add

Heloise: Engineer
Aleksandr: Sniper

That should be it, no?
>>
>>24368632

1. Joe (Scout)
2. Tarin (Scout)
3. Brillant (Scout)
4. Julia (Tanker)
5. Heloise (Engineer)
6. Aleksandr (Sniper)

>>
Keep the list, we don't need two lancers right now and scouts are useful.
>>
>>24368831

>>
>>24369189
I made Brillant, so here is his reasoning. His own people are fighting amongst themselves (a la VC1), so he'd at least respect them for choosing to fight against a true enemy. He's also been sheltered, so you could see him try to interact and fail, just like in our animus.

Underhandedly, no one asks if there were Jews, or African-Americans, or etc. when people come back from service these days, only that they served.
>>
So, hey guys. I just realized that we should really hope Julia comes with her own tank otherwise we are going to be borrowing from whoever we hire out to...
>>
>>24368900
"Don't worry Sam," You say, putting your hand over your heart, "you'll always be my one true love!"

Sam tries not to laugh but makes a very undignified snorting noise instead.

"Ha ha, very funny, Cap. Anyways, I think I've got the measure of what the guys can do.

POTENTIALS:
1. Sam
> Down to Earth: +1 CH against non-nobles. Non-nobles may use Sam's morale stat instead of their own.
> Tank Hunter: +2 to hit against tanks.

2. Joe
> Ramirez, Take Point!: Ramirez suffers no penalties for using enemy equipment.

3. Tarin
> Knife Fighter: +2 to melee attacks. Melee stealth attacks automatically succeed.

4. Brillant
> Winter Soldier: +1 to all rolls when fighting in snowy environments.

5. Julia
> Thrifty: Upkeep for Julia's vehicle is halved.

6. Heloise
> Sugar Rush: Single Use. Heloise eats a candy to add +5 to AG rolls for a single round.

7. Aleksandr
> Loner: +1 to all rolls when fighting alone.

Also, instead of upping a stat when you level up, you can instead purchase a potential.
>>
>>24369382
Heloise served in the militia and wasn't overly fond of it, but she needs the money, can fire a gun, and there's only so many places that'll hire a dark-hair.

Plus, you know...she's either on a sugar rush or a sugar crash. Not the best status for a worker.
>>
>>24369412
Also, you can opt to take a NEGATIVE potential in return for being able to up a stat AND pick up a new potential.
>>
>>24369412
Will the potentials be of a selection that is set already or will they change based on our play-style and choices?
>>
>>24369412
> Ramirez, Take Point!: Ramirez suffers no penalties for using enemy equipment.
Can we eventually get him "Ramirez, Do Everything!" that lets him be whatever fucking class he wants, because he's mother fucking Ramirez?
>>
>>24369467
Playstyle and interaction will factor in. Basically you'll get a short list to pick from based on what they've gone through and what class they are.
>>
>>24369412
Do the Squad members level up?
And if they gain attributes, could deciding upon them be more of a Communicating with our MC rather then us just choosing for them?

Gotta give our members characterization, ya know..

Wait, where were Sam's suggestions for squadmates?...
>>
>>24369476
We should, if only because his name is Ramirez and, well, we all get the joke.
>>

Pretty much a given when concerning a Not!Russian.
>>
>>24369463
>Also, you can opt to take a NEGATIVE potential in return for being able to up a stat AND pick up a new potential.

Heloise:
Sugar Crash: Heloise loses half her AP. (Happens on a crit-fail, goes up to 1-5 if it's after Sugar Rush)

Bonus:
A Shot and a Lollipop!: Heloise gets +1 to Ragnaid heal and range.

(Feel free to tweak these, but I think Heloise should also have Medic skills)

"I'm feeling a 'but' coming on here..."

"BUT... the issue of getting a tank is a bit trickier. The depot has so many Light Tanks stocked up that they can't even GIVE them away. We can get one dirt cheap, but we've both seen how well they did in the war..."

You shudder and nod. You remember seeing one too many GLT get blown away by the Empire's heavy armor.

"But they do have a prototype Type 36 Medium tank. No idea how the depot got it but they're willing to sell. The only problem is that it's ultra rare. Not even in full production yet. Upkeep on that thing is going to be HELL."

"Sure thing, Cap. I'll let the depot know right away. I'll also get these hire forms submitted and I can get our squad assembled within the week."

"Sam, where would I be without you."

"Buried under three tons of papwork. Oh right!" Before she head out the door, she tosses another folder at you which she expertly manages to land right on your face. "We got 3 theaters of battle to choose from. Up to you to see which one we die horribly in!"

You open the folder, seeing a map of Europa with three large circles and lots of little notes that Sam had scribbled in.

The first request was from Albion (Britain). Apparently, there have been lots of rumors that the Empire is preparing an amphibious invasion of the island nation. With their men overseas and their normally formidable fleet scattered on various posts, Albion is willing to hire mercenaries to bolster its meager defenses.

On the Northern Front, Federation forces are making a huge push into the Empire itself. This is the first time in EWI that the Federation has managed to push into Imperial territory, though you hear the fighting is particularly fierce and brutal.

The Southern Front still has many small Federation states under Imperial occupation. One of these stats, Ustio, is particularly wealthy. With the Federation concentrating their efforts in the North, Ustio has decided to turn elsewhere for help.

"Looks like we're going to Albion." You say to yourself.

Two weeks later, you and your new squad are hitching a ride on the next supply ship to Albion. Having lived in Gallia all your life, it was a bit of an understatement to say that you weren't quite used to the rigors of sea travel.

"I think I'm going to be sick." You moan.

After a quick announcement over the ship's intercom, you have your squad assembled in the cargo hold your equipment is stowed, including your new Type 36.

After making sure you have their attention, you begin your speech.

"Ladies, Gentlemen...do you know what they call Gallia? They don't call it the home of heroes, or saviors, or the decendants of the Valkyria...no. Gallia is the blood-soaked bitch. A woman who knows nothing but how to fight, with Imps, with Feds, with ourselves, it doesn't matter. We are the children of war, strife, and conflict...and we are the best at it. Lets go win this war for these people, take their money, and show them exactly what it means to be a Gallian!"

After finishing, you take the chance to see how your squad has reacted. You see most of the squad actively applauding. Heloise, though, seems a bit too enthusiastic. However, you can see both Tarin and Aleksandr hanging off in the back. Aleksandr just seems like trying to duck into the shadows so he won't be noticed, while Tarin just maintains a cold pokerface.

"That will be all." You say, trying keep your stomach under control. "While we're here, I suggest you get familiarized with your kit. I fully expect us to get thrown the meatgrinder the moment we hit land. Dismissed!"

"That was a pretty cool speech." Sam says, taking position next to you. "You always did have a talent for that."

"So... what now? We're still a couple days out from Albion."

What an odd one, you think to yourself as Tarin stalks. You're suddenly very glad that you didn't embarrass yourself in front of her.

"Oh, there you are." Sam says.

"What is with people sneaking up behind me today?" You sigh as you spin to face her.

"Hey, I was stomping here with all the grace of Marmota steamrolling Randgriz. Not my fault you were too distracted to notice." Sam waves another folder in front of your face. "My Useful Notes on Everything Albion".

"I'm beat. I'm just going to skim through it. Mind giving me the important bits?"

"Fiiiiiiine." Sam pouts, frustrated at your obvious lack of interest in reading.

"Albion's one of the Federation's Big Three, with the other two being Osea and Yuktobania. While Osea and Yuktobania have larger armies, Albion has the largest navy with over 300 ships of various types."

"As for Albion's current defenses, the majority of its standing defenses are manned by the Home Guard, which numbers over a million. Don't let that number encourage you though, since the majority of them are just old men with too much free time."

"Besides its navy, Albion's greatest strengths are in artillery and commando units. Fortunately, they got plenty of both on their home soil."

"Oh, and don't make fun of their tea. They'll make sure you regret it."

You nod as you skim through the pages. True to form, the things Sam doesn't mention are things you can go by without, such as Albion's total population, major exports, demographics, etc.

"Right, well I'm going to get some sleep. We need to be rested when we land." You say.

"Roger that, Cap."

Fortunately, you don't have any dreams that night. Nothing but blackness.

The next day, your ship finally makes port. Glad that the trip is over, you're one of the first to step off the ship. You see another ship coming into port as well, though much smaller. It was more of a landing boat than ship. Rather than head for the docks, the boat takes the shorter path straight to the beach. The moment it hits the shallows you can see a dozen men in Albion uniforms leap out.

However, you notice something odd and you squint to try and make it out.

"Ah, so you're the mercenaries Command has been talking about!" Their commanding officer yells jovially as he stomps his way up the beach and reaches his arm out. "The name's Jack. Nice to meet you!"

"Uh, hi there." You say, somewhat distracted.

After all, how many people did you see lugging around claymores like it was a regular thing?

>And that's it for tonight, folks! Hope you had a good time!

Cool quest! Too bad I missed it. Just wanted to point out that there ARE official names for some of the nations in the Atlantic alliance. Pic related.

Dokkum? Yeah...okay...who wants to say that those are old First-Generation Valkyria names and that Albion is what it's called now.

Probably for the best, really. I mean, who wants to be from the glorious nation of Sneek? At least there are some general terrain features there that could be used for mission planning.

I wonder if we can set up a HQ in the future
>>
Anyone know if it will be possible to get an Edelweiss model tank? Not the original obviously, but basically a copy probably built for testing before they started making the type 36. For anyone not familiar with the series, it's probably the most powerful tank in existence in existence right now, or Welkin was even more of a tactical genius than he already was.
>>
>>24376724
a base would be nice
>>
>>24376909
I would like a base, but currently its 8 people, some stuff and a tank. Maybe after we get a mission or two under our belt.
>>
>>24376921
oh ya we need make some money and cap some ass's first
>>
>>24376811
Getting an Edelwiess would be awesome, though I'm not sure how we would do it, given that OP apparently wants to keep us away from any of the universes characters. Though I can understand the desire not to have the Main characters of VC 1 steal the spotlight, and I understand the desire to stay the hell away from Avan.
I still hope we can get a merc contract to help Jaeger with his rebellion though
>>
>>24376909

A mobile HQ would be best. Maybe a ship or an armored train so we can redeploy quickly?
>>
>>24377014
Seeing as how we were seasick I'd nix the ship. And trains are expensive and only go on prelaid tracks.

So, I'd like a permanent compound somewhere, probably Gallia.
>>
>>24377083
sounds reasonable to me. So, shall we start making up an equipment wishlist while we are here?
>>
>>24377083

What's the point of a permanent compound if we're going to be travelling to different fronts anyway? And why would a base be less expensive than a train?
>>
>>24377129
Well, firstly I'd like all the extra abilities you get in VC1.

Rifle grenades for the scouts, flamethrowers for the Shocktroopers etc.

Plus I'd like to totally trick out our tank. I prefer heavy gun all armor fuck up your shit myself but that's up to anon.

After that we can get more specialized, I'm willing to spitball though.

>>24377164
A permanent compound provides a number of things, starting with the concept of "Home" or "Safety" something to look forward to after a mission. We could also upgrade it with specialized facilities, leave someone there to recruit possibly and do research or something.

As for being cheaper, railroads are expensive and tend to get blown up during a war. There's also probably a lack of rolling stock to by in the first place. Also, we'd need to buy a ton of ragnite to run the stupid thing and we'd also likely have to buy our way on the railroads because of upkeep if nothing else.
>>
>>24372311
Also because she brought TWO ARMOURED COMPANIES and burnt down OUR ANCESTRAL HOME.

Stuff like that really makes you contemplate killing people.
>>
>>24377223

Whereas with a mobile HQ, that kind of home and safety can be brought with us on lengthy campaigns. It will also make us less dependent on external supply trains, and allow us to distribute researched tech to the troops as soon as it's done, without having to go back for it. If the situation in EWII is similar to WWII, train tracks are still being maintained, mainly to secure supplies to the front and enable industrial production. Since there are no aircraft, arguably it's even more important in this setting. Ragnite is expensive, I'll give you that, but so is chartering boats or trains whenever we need to get to the next mission.

Also, with a mobile HQ, we can recruit from all over, not just Gallia. I think that's a bonus.
>>
>>24377300
See, these are good points. But personally I think it'll be better overall to have a permanent base at first. Especially for research and manufacturing. And I think people would give us a lift to get us to fight for them.

But after your points I'd (eventually, like, far far down the road) like us to have both a base and a train. But that would require a shit ton of money and enough people to make it economical.
>>
>>24377223
I'm in favor of a static HQ, at least initially, and in acquiring the best model of tank we can find for our main force, something like a Lupis or an Edelwiess.
>>
>>24377370
>>24377403

I'll give you that. After all, we're just starting out so any such upgrades will be in the future. It'll be interesting to see how the quest will develop and if we can get any of this stuff.

If we can't get a train, I'd settle for a land battleship like the Marmota
>>
Oh, btw, I noticed we don't have a medic. What are we going to do when our guys start taking fire and getting wounded?
>>
>>24377551
Engineers double class as a medic. If you're talking about a dedicated one, then yeah we don't have one but there's only 7 of us that might need one.

If the tank gets blown Julia will probably be straight dead and not need a medic.

>>
>>24377562
Eh, she'll probably be fine unless the tank actually explodes. Most tanks don't detonate immediately, tank crews could often get out of the tank in time to survive.
Of course, hits to the radiator and heug explosive shells as the Imperials seem to like are a worry, as are Valkyrur I guess, but exploding tanks are less common than you'd think.
BTW, who else is in the tank with her? Most tanks are crewed by a team.

There's a different map post-Gallian Civil War.

I was always very suspicious of these maps by the way. If it's not-Earth, then why does it share names with several key geologic features? Why is Europa the only landmass on the planet? (Africa/Gibraltar is not shown, Iceland/Greenland would be peeking in the left, etc.) Several things point to the other continents being missing as well (no coffee or chocolate, for one). Yet Japan has been confirmed to exist in-universe and they even have some crazy pacific islander in VC2.
>>
>>24380150
Only a single person crews the tank, in order to make things simpler for OP to keep track of. Oh, and there are apparently no valkyria in this quest. Probably because they're hilariously overpowered.
>>
>>24380269
>No token Valkyria waifu type
Thank fucking god, i was getting sick of that shit in VC 2 and 3
>>
>>24380269
I've been working on that angle for a different Valkyria Chronicles quest. They really wrote themselves into a corner with these gods walking the Earth. Post VC2, they can MAKE artificial Valkyria in Gallia and the Empire. The sheer number of things that does to the established beliefs of the setting would immediately shatter the current status quo to pieces. Add that to the whole "Darcsens didn't do it" discovery in VC1 and the world will be violently tearing itself apart in any sequel.

This is all in addition to the VC3 rediscovery of ragnite-based weaponry, the nuclear weapon equivalent du jour.
>>
>>24380511
Simply make Valkyria weaker. Heavy artillery should be capable of killing Valkyria. As for the revelations, I don't think anyone but the valkyria could actually read the proof, most of which was blown up anyway. And they always said that the artificial valkyria were incredibly expensive too make and were power intensive.
>>
Oh, I didn't expect this thread to still be alive, but I will answer some concerns.

>>24373996
I'm aware there are some canon names, but honestly, the Federation never really got any development, and I can't find any decent maps of Europa.

>>24376724
You can certainly set up an HQ, but those require money, resources, and renown, all three of which you are currently pretty low on.

Let's not even get into the logistics of setting up a mobile HQ!

>>24380511
In this quest, Valkyria are RARE AS FUCK, as they should be. The only situation you'd ever encounter one is if you're really stomping Imperial ass, or you get really really REALLY lucky.
>>
>>24381160

Hey MC, what did our character do in the Gallian War? Did we accomplish anything of value? Do we have former squadmates or comrades in arms that owe us favors or just plain like us?
>>
>>24381160
To be fair, their are only two native born Gallian Valkyria total, which sorta qualifies them as rare as hell. Also, is >>24376811
possible
>>
>>24381196
Since Jager was a noble, he never actually saw much fighting in the war. The majority of his actions were either mopping up after the militia's heavy lifting or garrison duty. His only TRUE battle was Maximilian's assault on Randgriz, where he picked up some minor renown holding back Imp assault squads from pushing deeper into the city.

As for contacts, with the exception of Sam, most of your old squad went their separate ways after your unit disbanded. None of them really shared the same motivation to continue the fight. Though that doesn't mean there isn't the chance you'd run into them again.
>>
>>24381335
Edelweiss pretty much WAS the prototype. All Type 36 tanks are based off of it, though of course some features were scaled back for the sake of mass production. However, Type 36's inherit the Edelweiss' potential for customization.

There are also Light, Medium, and Heavy types of Type-36 tanks. The Heavy models are the closest you can get to Edelweiss.
>>
>>24381504

Hey Command, wasn't in this thread much due to my own quest, but I am caught up.

I am loving the AC crossover you got going, this should be amazing. Keep up the good work.
>>
>>24381504
Huh, you would expect they would make a few strait copies to for testing before they started changing the design. Ah well, I'm sure they wrote the design for the Edelweiss down somewhere, so maybe it could be a mission reward or something.
>>
>>24381611
Unless they used the Edelweiss itself for testing, in which case it got exploded.
