The year is 2573, and you just spent quite a lot of time and money having your own ship made, even with machine assistance. With you are Sarvesh, a newly moulted arthropod centaur, Omnissiah, the galaxy's first known 'natural' AI, and Summer, a big fuzzy kitty who's sister apparently never existed.

Your ship *sparkles*, now that it's done. Summer's human father, Laurent, started to appraise the ship with a careful eye, but he was more worried about Summer, and her manifestation shaped like her 'sister'.
"... It looks beautiful," Sarvesh said. "What are you going to name it?"
"I'm thinking Surya. Or Gryphon," You respond.
"Can we fly it?" Summer asked, and turned to her father. "Dad, want to come with us?"
"Well, I may as well get in," He said, and chuckled. "Hound, come o-"
Summer paused. "... Don't take him," She said, her voice strange. Winter stepped away from Hound, glaring at him.
"Uh... Okay," Laurent said. "Sorry, Hound, just sit this one out. Don't worry, there are enough weapons platforms, and I trust the schematics for the ship enough."
"...Yessir," The exosuited mercenary responded.
"Oh! Right!" Summer called, and turned to you. "I forgot to even ask if we could try it out. Can we? I wanna see if it'll fly!"
>>
>>24400131
"Duh!

Everyone -barring hound- can get on the ship now!"
>>
>>24400131
"There's only one correct answer to that question. Of course! The only way I could do this quicker is if I lifted you all in with TK."
>>
>>24400131
"I'll have to be careful, hasn't been painted yet and I don't want to scrape the hull."
>>
"Duh!" You say. "Everyone - barring hound - can get on the ship now!"
Lil'summer, on your head, meowed as all of you filed your way into the ship proper. It was just like the one in Summer's manifestation, but... much, much more personal now. More *real*. It smelled and felt like... like yours.
Laurent strapped himself down in the lounge, as Sarvesh and Summer did the same, while Omnissiah clamped himself down in the dock.
"I'm excited." He said. He kept his cables retracted, though, so he was simply using the dock as a seat.

Outside the ship, hound unclasped the hangar doors, and made his way out, trying to fix his humidity settings some more. You quickly mess with the controls, and get the hangar depressurized, then open the doors. Still outside, drifting some distance from the station, was.. Wyvern.
You caught a transmission from it as you looked out, still
"Oh man, are you taking off? Are you? Come on out here so I can get aboard!" Anna's voice came through the comms. "And you still need to set the transponder and paint the thing, but still!"

>>
>>24400248
"Woah, slow down! I'm taking this slow and easy for now."
>>
>>24400248

pick her up "test flight first, painting later!"

<Hound is Summer's father's bodyguard, she barred him from coming with us.>
>>
>>24400248
"I'll pick you up, but hound is wating in the hangar for the bigwig on board"
>>
>>24400248
Go pick her up.

<Don't worry, Hound's back on the station. Probably still trying to fix the humidity settings on his exosuit. Shame how things like that can break so suddenly in old suits.>
>>
"Woah, slow down!" You call. "I'm taking this slow and easy for now." You say, and turn on the engine. The ship, yet unnamed, thrummed behind you, the engine shaking... and then carefully, you oriented the primary thrust downward and backward, and slowly eased it up. Your ship slid carefully out of the hangar, and then gravity started to fade as you slowed and reoriented yourself. Then, still carefully, you edged closer to Wyvern, unused to how your ship moved and felt. Wyvern, for her part, gently rolled onto her back so that both of your docking ports were oriented the same way.

"You ready?" Anna asked.
"Ready." You say, and both of you clasped your ships together with a hiss. Anna floated in through the docking port in her exosuit, waving to Summer, her father, and Sarvesh, all still strapped down.
<Hound's back on the station.> You say. <Probably still trying to fix the humidity settings on his exosuit. Shame how things like that can break so suddenly in old suits.>
Anna gave an evil, evil chuckle... then introduced herself to Laurent.
"So, what's the plan?" Sarvesh asked. "Put her through her paces? See how fast she can go, both in and out of bubble drive?"
>>
>>24400382
"lets see what we can pull out of bubble first"
<are you ready for your first test creation mine?>
>>
>>24400382

"let's start slow and work our way up, we have important guest on board."
>>
>>24400382
"Basically."
Let's do this shit.
>>
>>24400382
"Alright. I'll make sure to be careful and not blow the fuses. We'll start very low, though. I don't want to endanger the VIP."
>>
"Alright." You say. "I'll make sure to be careful and not blow the fuses. We'll start very low, though."
"Alright!" Anna said, and sat herself in the copilot seat, strapping herself in.
<Are you ready for your first test, creation mine?>
<We are, her majesty!> The ship responded, the individual components creating a... gestalt voice of their very own.

Carefully, you ease the ship forward, firing away from the asteroid belt. Carefully, you increase the thrust, accelerating, pushing yourself back in your seat. The two massive ion thrusters on either side of the ship proper start humming loudly, the ship shaking, and you tear off into space.
"... Okay, yeah." Anna said, looking at your speed. "Your rate of acceleration is around fifty KMH a minute. That's almost as good as the Wyvern."
Then, you check how fast you can stop. Wheeling the massive thrusters around, you slam on the thrusters, and get tugged forward, stopping almost on the spot.
"... She's more manuvuerable outside of atmosphere, at least." Anna said. "At least, it feels it."
"It is, I believe." Omnissiah responded from his dock. Behind the cockpit, in the 'lounge' room where everybody else was, you could hear them talking.
>>
>>24400581
<system check; we leaking anywhere? Helios are you working properly?>
>>
>>24400581
"...Shall we see how fast the bubble drive will edge out at? I'd planned it at two fifty, but with the extra power...we might be able to squeeze a little more."
>>
>>24400581

acceleration: check
Maneuverability: check

check the individual components for sudden wear and tear.
>>
<Systems check; We leaking anywhere? Helios, are you working properly?>
<I am, yes. You're using merely half of my total power.> Helios said.
<We're okay!> Most of the phaeron control systems said.
<I... I could use a little maintenance.> The tiniest control system said, nervously. <I let out a little gas last time on accident. It- it all got caught by the life support, though. There's no risk of anything *bad* happening, it's just... kind of... umm... wasteful.>
<Point three units of phaeron gas has been filtered.> The life support said. <Atmosphere is kept in human ranges, otherwise. Everything is functional.>
<Ach, my brother an' I are read an' rarin ta' go!> The massive engines made to turn the primary ion thrusters said.
<I am deactivated.> The lounge's kitchen zero-g stove 'top' said.
You got slightly dizzy, with all of these things speaking at once, but you shake it off rather easily.
"Shall we see how fast the bubble drive will edge out at?" You ask. "I'd planned it at two fifty, but with the extra power, we might be able to squeeze a little more."
"Let's see..." Anna said, pulling up the navigational computers. She quickly plotted out a round course with as minimum celestial objects as possible. "Here, let's try this." She said.
>>
>>24400696
<Fasten your seatbelts, everyone.> Through the speakers.

<I'll take good care of you when we get back, tiniest control system~>
>>
>>24400696
>over the intercomm
"ladies and gents we are now entering bubble drive please make sure your seat belts are on and your tray tables are in the upright and locked position"
>>
>>24400696

<don't worry, every system is important, I'll give to proper maintenance when we get back.>
>>
>>24400749

>give you proper
>>
>>24400696
<You guys are the best, and don't worry little control system, I'll fix you up soon.>

"Let's do this. Full power!"

<Okay guys, let's see what we can do! Full power Helios!>
>>
>>24400765
Noooo, full power will burn the fuses out.
>>
>>24400776
We picked up super!fuses from Newt.
>>
>>24400696
"It's interesting, all the components are speaking, not just one voice like with everything else."
>>
>>24400814
OOC it's because we haven't named it. The ship is just a mishmash of individual parts.
>>
You flip on the intercom.
"Ladies and Gents, we are now entering bubble drive." You say. "Please make sure your seatbelts are on, and your tray tables are in the upright and locked position."
You heard Summer start to giggle, and Sarvesh started reaching for more straps for himself, just in case.
<I'll take good care of you when we get back, tiniest control system~>
<B-but I... umm... okay~> It responded, and you felt it blush.

"Let's do this!" you call, and slam into bubble drive.
Nothing shook. Nothing trembled.
You smoothly slid into bubble drive, your front screen going bright green as the filters darkened it, and your speed counter made it's way up. You triggered Helios to increase power bar by bar, as you turned up the bubble drive, keeping the power drain and the remaining power around equal. With your bubble drive turned to max, and helios up to a full 95%, the bubble drive started shaking, slightly, and your speed was...
285kC. Much, much, *much* faster than projected. Almost a full 25 thousand times the speed of light, in fact.

Anna goggled at it.
"You didn't even *feel* that, did you?" She asked. "I've *never* had a bubble drive work that smoothly."
"Damien asked me to design an algorithm to fuse into the navigational systems." Omnissiah said. "To pre-saturate and orient the drive plates before entering bubble drive."
>>
>>24400830
"Omni, wow. I...are you saying you made it super smooth for me?"
>>
>>24400830
"Holy shit, Niss. That's amazing."
>>
>>24400830

"neat," let's slow down until the shaking stops and make a note of it.

when stop we should ask the specific parts of the ship that regulate space travel if anything's out of the ordinary.
>>
>>24400830
thanks omni.

"this is your pilot speaking, we're currently crusing at an approximate 285 kc and should be arriving anywhere soon"
>>
>>24400830
"It's amazing! Thanks, Omni."

>285000 times the speed of light is almost 25000 times the speed of light
Er, ok...
>>
>>24400830
>285kC. Much, much, *much* faster than projected. Almost a full 25 thousand times the speed of light, in fact.
isn't 1 c the speed of light making that 285,000 time faster?
>>
>>24400875
that was a measure of how much better it was...
>>
>>24400830
"Is your algorithm making the drive work that extra bit as well, Omni?"
>>
>>24400830
Blink
"Tat's... that's incredible! Thank you Omni!"
>>
>>24400830

>>
>>24400925
this oh god. provided it doesn't already exist, which it shouldn't seeing as Anna doesn't have one.
>>
>>24400875
>285000 times the speed of light is almost 25000 times the speed of light *better* than the speed you estimated the ship would go at; 260kC.

"Holy shit, Niss." you say. "That's amazing. License that software, you'll make a killing. Is it also making the drive work that extra bit as well, Omni?"
"No, but I likely could write one, if I were to utilize a very powerful computer for long enough." He said.

"This is your pilot speaking, we're currently cruising at an approximate two eighty five kC, and should be arriving... well, anywhere, soon." You say.
"Whoo!" Summer called, from the other room.
>>
>>24400925
Hey, that's Omni's killing. He needs it to finance his glorious AI revolution.
>>
>>24400971
"Where are we heading, Anna?"
>>
>>24400971

let's adjust our course back to the station, they still expect us to give demonstrations.

>>24400971

>>
>>24400971
"Do you want to fly it back, Anna?"
>>
"Where are we heading, Anna?"
"Circling UPA space." Anna said. "Though we could find a small moon that you can practice atmospheric landings on, somewhere." She said.
"No, let's get back to the station." You say, and carefully pull back out of bubble drive, slipping out just as smoothly as you went in. Omnissiah's camera turned to the gyroscope to see how little it jostled, and you felt him feel a little pride. You take the navigational computer, and look through it- it was better than the one on the Wyvern, that was for sure. You directed it back to the station, turned the ship around, and slipped back into bubble drive.

Some time later, with no real problems (Other than the tiniest phaeron control system's leak in the left thruster), you soared back toward the station, Wyvern still rolled 'upside down' from the station's perspective.
"Well, I'd best get back." Anna said, pulling shut the cockpit door for enough time to give you a kiss. "I'll see you monday, okay?"
>>
>>24400999

The course is a circle. It goes back to the station.

>>
"Looking forward to it!" you say. "Take care and stay safe!"
"I will!" She said, and pulled open the cockpit door again, slipping on her helmet. "I can't dock when I'm not inside, so I'll have to spacewalk to it. See you guys!"
"It was a pleasure meeting you." Laurent said, as Summer suddenly stopped... and grabbed Lil'summer in her mouth, and focused... and suddenly Lil'summer had a little kitty spacesuit.
"Here! Take her with you!"
"I will!" Anna said, hugging the kitty spacesuit.
"Summer, there's one thing missing that I need you to manifest." You say. "Fuzzy dice."
"Fuzzy what?" She asked. "Dice? Okay..."
Suddenly, two cubes of fluff appeared.
"What, is it something retro about ships?" She asked.
>>
>>24401160
"Hell yes. All I need now is a 'bitching paint job."
>>
>>24401178

>>
>>24401160
"Yup! Look it up on the Extranet!"

Lets dock carefully and slowly
>>
>>24401160
"I cannot thank you all enough for helping me build this thing."
>>
>>24401160

make sure Anna makes it safely to Wyvern, then dock at the station.
>>
>>24401160
"Not just about ships. Vehicles in general."
>>
"Hell yes. Look it up on the extranet!" You say, and hang them on the view projector, so that they dangle down in the cockpit. "All I need now is a bitching paint job."
"I can modify the maintenance drones to have a painting function." Omnissiah said. "It will take a short time, though. I'm not sure how to quantify 'bitching', however."
You have them all strap themselves in again, and carefully dock again, sliding into the hangar with a minimum of crashing and dying... other than a slight screech as you skidded across a discarded broken tool, making it scrape against your shiny new hull. No permenant damage, you don't think.
"I cannot thank you all enough for helping me build this thing."
"Hey, you're ferrying me home this weekend with it." Sarvesh said.
"And you're my roommate, I gotta help." Summer said, and Winter added in a 'yeah!'.
"I didn't help at all." Laurent said.
"... You're my very best friend." Omnissiah responded, quietly, during the bustle where everybody unstrapped themselves. "It makes me happy to help you."

"When's the demonstrations starting, Sarvesh? There's a little circuit I need to take care of for a while."
>>
>>24401302
"Hey Littlest Circuit, wanna /ss/?"
>>
"C'mere and give me a big ol hug, Omni."
The drone hugged you tightly, the camera blinking off as he closed his 'eye', nuzzling part of his shell against you. "I'm glad to have such amazing friends." You say, and pull everyone except Laurent into a hug. You shake the man's hand.
"When's the demonstrations starting, Sarvesh?" You ask. "There's a little circuit I need to take care of for a while."
"Not long from now. After lunch is over." Sarvesh said. "You have time."

The hangar hissed as atmosphere entered again, and Laurent made his way out.
"... Thank you for giving me a ride." He said, with a nod and a grin. "And you'll always have a place at GreyCorp, if you want it."
"Daad." Summer said, and sighed.
>>

"...Have you ever had a woman named Allison work for you?"

one of the things we should do is start putting Armatek under legal pressure. Slavery and murder are hopefully big no-nos and we have several people who can testify and still have the implants within their bodies.

I've got a better plan. We plug Omni in to a supercomputer, then tell him to destabilise ArmaTek.
>>
>>24401362
<Ohhhhh, tiny circuit, where are you~>
>>
"Greycorp?" You ask. "Thank you for the offer."
"We'd be better off if we were to have you." He said. "And to be honest, it'd also mean depriving our competitors from having you."
"No poaching my friends, dad." Summer said, and he just laughed, patting her head. She purred.
"... Have you ever had a woman named Allison work for you?"
"Allison Leery? No, she worked for one of said competitors." He said. "Why do you ask?"
>>
>>24401451
Or hack them and leak the files

>>
>>24401518
Well, in that case Rho should probably have the thing removed. If Armatek found a way to reactivate it, shit could go bad fast.
>>
>>24401466
<Circuit-kun, where are you.>
>>
"Heh, she's my mom." You say. "Didn't like it there, though."
"... Huh." He said. "Well, makes sense. Like mother like daughter."
He shook your hand again, and scritched summer's head, before giving Winter a Look, and looking back at you. "I'd best go say hello to Hound again." He said. "C'mon, summer."
You turn back to the ship. <Oh tiny circuit, where aaaare yoooou~?> You ask, wielding your screwdriver. You felt the circuit blush again, and almost quiver in anticipation.

Some time later, the circuit was entirely fixed, the defect patched over, and your ship, in pretty much every way, was perfect.

In the corner, Omnissiah was working with cables and one of the drones, giving it the ability to change the hue of polycarbon- a paintbot.

"Well, what do we do now?" Sarvesh asked. "Name it, get to lunch?"

Rho, sitting in the corner with Theta, sprung to her feet and appeared next to you. "Are you guys going to name your ship? ooh, ooh, name it... Name it something like... Ripper. No, no! Bodice-ripper!"

"Um... Now I can't think of any more. The.. SS It's one of ours, sir?"
"Banned by UPA law." Sarvesh said.
"What, really? That one's banned?"
"It gets confusing when you have four ships named that in the same fleet."
"My other ship is a dreadnaught?" Rho tested.
"Well, I'd like to name it after some human mythological creatures." You say.
"Sita! Kali! Lakshmi!" Rho said. "Indra, Hanuman, Ganesha, Ramayana..."
Sarvesh gave Rho a look.
"Those are spirits."
"Hm? Yeah, but that's all the mythology I know, really." Rho said. "Dragon?"
"Surya?" You ask. "Or gryphon?"

"No, it doesn't." You say, and eat a while. For some time, Sarvesh and Rho trade mythologies, suggesting other names, and finally you finish your own sandwiches.
"I'll go with Surya." You say.
"Hooray!" Rho said, and stuck out her tongue at Sarvesh. "See, told you she wouldn't go with Ra... ra..."
"Ra*ta'kula*ta'ta." Sarvesh said. "What, it's the spirit of the skies and the stars! It makes perfect sense."
"It can't be written in any form of writing that makes sense in english!"
"It can in centaur." Sarvesh said.
Rho just gave him a Look.

>>
"Rho, are you saying Centaur isn't a real language?" You ask. "That's specieist."
"No, I'm saying that it's your ship, and you can't even pronounce it, and if it was written on the side, it'd need all those centaur accents and stuff for the clicks and buzzes." She said.
"It's a nice name, but it's problematic that way."
"Aww." Sarvesh said, and drooped. Rho stood on his back, and patted his head.
"What're we painting it? I know you've probably got some great ideas, Rho!"

"Hey Theta, did Alex manage to drop his shield? Did you get to do anything to him?"
"Wait, he can drop his shield?" Theta asked. "He never told *me*. Where is he?"

"Damien is technically able to look at people wherever they are." You say. "He tries not to, though."
"Except at certain times, you really need to oogle someone from every vantage point possible." Damien said, walking into the cafeteria.

He focused... and your vision twisted... and suddenly you could see... well, every color. You remember, vaguely, in an alternate future you once saw, Sarvesh showed you what things looked like through his eyes, and... this was the same. You could see two entire other wavelengths, the first that Sarvesh had named 'braskh', and a strange... 'bluish' color, you suppose, that hides underneath everyone's skin. Sarvesh had *stripes* of that strange bluish color on his shell, making it look like he'd painted himself tribally.

He chuckled. "Soon I'll have all the ladies on me." He said. "iridescent IR shells are almost as attractive as pale ones." He explained. "It's not actually stripes- it's just the way my shell is curved. Now I just need to shave off these little growths..."
"... Can I keep the eyes for a while?" You ask.
"Sure, go ahead." Theta said, and shrugged. "Centaur eyes are a bit larger than human ones, so I had to lower your color depth a bit and fuck with your optical nerves to get it all to fit in your sockets."
"Oooh, can you do me too?" Rho asked.

Then her eyebrows lowered, over to her cheekbones, and melted away. Rho no longer had eyes- it was just forehead from her nose up.
"There you go, you rascal." Theta said.
"Hey!" Rho responded.

<... Suits her.>

"Really, I don't think any one name suits you." You say. "Theta is a much better descriptor, because you're always Theta, even if you're pretending to be Sam or Lily or Whoever."
"Good point, actually." Theta said. "I agree."

"And why not keep the spines?" You ask. "They make you look menacing."
"Except shearing those off are... similar to shaving, I suppose. It makes me look sloppy." Sarvesh said.

Robin just nommed on another sandwich.
"Time for us to go. Heather, they want you up after Summer." Damien said. "and then I'll go after you to delay them asking for Jilly. Then Rho can do her thing, and Theta can do his, and then Sarvesh."

>>
>>24404877
No they're not. One made the heat crystal, the other makes Isaac's crushed asteroid spheres.
>>

>>
>>24404933

>>
"Okay!" You say, and grab an energy drink. "Time to crush some stuff with TK!"

On the way down to the TK room, you hear someone playing a fiddle, and then someone else trumpeting, and finally, swords clashing. Through the cameras, you saw Summer... with a sliver from an old, medieval story, with trumpeters, minstrels playing, and two medieval knights fighting. Soon, one knight was disarmed, and the minstrels started clapping- as did the supervising technicians and council members. Summer bowed, and she made her way out, the people vanishing.
"Heather, can you go in there next?" Manus asked, coming up in the hall. "We'll just wheel some things out and ask you to do things with them. Okay?"
You nod, and make your way in. Several technicians wheeled out pallets with massive, dense blocks, almost devastatingly heavy.
"Please stack these four blocks with telekinesis, please." The intercom said.

>TK STRENGTH GO.

You bite your lip, hard, trying to lift one with all of your will. It was about as heavy as one of the groundcars, and you lifted it into the air... and carefully set it on the location. After taking some time to take a deep breath, you pick up the second... and drop it. With a loud shake, the entire station rattled, and you stumble for a moment... but other than that, you were able to pick them all up and set them all down on a stack. The exosuited marines carefully put them back on the pallets, complete with cargo loader assistance, and next they gave you a table with dozens of small blocks.

>>
You're nervous, your palms sweaty. You already messed up once, and you can't quite afford to mess up again. What would they think if you dropped these? You closed your eyes, and reached out...

And you felt the blocks. As if you were touching them with a hand, instead of a vague impression. You could feel the texture of the wood grain, the basic weight... you even had an impression on how dense it was. You just learned how to gain... tactile feedback with telekinesis.
Easily, spreading your will to multiple tendrils of force, you felt them all, and... constructed them in your mind.
They started to wheel out a larger pile- but you assembled those before they even got out in front of you.
And then when it came time for them to wheel out the biggest pile of over ten thousand blocks, you assembled it... while it was still in the back room.
And then you realized that the fourth pile, that you were in the process of assembling... was almost a system away- a young child's toy blocks.

There was a delay as the people behind the glass spoke, and Dr. Manus came out, with a pile of cards. He pulled them up, and started to quiz you on their contents.

Easily, you reach out. "Mister exosuit, would you like to dance?" You ask. The exosuit reached out a hand, and bowed. You curtsey, and quite simply, you start to dance.
Of course... you ask *every* exosuit to dance. Marines in the hallway start waltzing with one another, struggling against their rampaging suits, as the speakers start playing music.

Somewhere, not far from you, you quite clearly sense Sigma pulling Damien into a dance, her hand on his hip, the two twirling.
"I don't know how to dance!" Sigma called, and giggled.
"Good thing I do," He responded.

And then... you felt something everything shudder.
Not far from here, within a small computer with several quarantines and locked under Dr. Manus's bioprint, with a key and a hidden code that even Manus doesn't know, surrounded by anti-void queen cyclic particle accelerators, was a program to reach out for the void queen.

You asked it, very kindly, to rewrite itself into a human programming language.
And it did.
And for good measure, it told you, quite clearly, the coordinates of where the Void Queen herself was, last the program knew.
Not far from demiurg space, drifting on the other side of it... was a world. With floating stones, and two-armed scythe handed creatures, all moving in the same way, like a well oiled machine.

You open your eyes to find yourself standing under a light, in the telekinesis room. Everyone was clapping- except the exosuited soldiers standing around you, who were bowing politely.

"Can I finish this by crushing some concrete?"
"Yes, one moment please." The intercom said, and the suits made their way back to their positions, talking about how it was 'both freaky and cool' how you'd taken control from them.

So, I think we might be able to retrieve that crystal later. What would y'all think about using it to "overclock" the engine? We could pump the engine up as far as we want and rig a program to detect the heat in the engine, then at the right moment open up a screen to let that crystal drain the heat.

The Hound is psychic, he's trying his kill everything for cockblocking him.

FFFFFFFF- It's because we wouldn't fix his suit.

First three, you other dumbfuck
>>
>>24405970
We didn't fail, someone just tried to murder us, which means we have to find out who, murder them back, and then create all the damn crystals we want.
>>
>>24405997
Shouting at people that the first three are being taken is all well and good if the quest actually used that system of rolling.

You dumb cocks.
>>
>>24405970
You retrovoyanced and made the crystal perfectly. Your roll isn't for 'your luck in this endeavour', but for 'your skill'.

I am, and have been for a short time- though I do take natural 1s and natural 100s past that limit as long as it isn't hundreds of posts past the list.

So it has been changed again.
>>
>>24406154
It's always been from the first 'arbitrary amount' of posts after my first post. And it's always been 'natural 1s and natural 100s past that'. It's just that this time, as well as every post this thread, it was the first three rolls that I took.
>>
>>24406154
You may notice his post actually SPECIFIED it was first three?

Anyway, the average of the first three was 89.666... so obviously it was independent of the actual roll (although a failure might have had things go differently with no crystal to explode in the first place).

This was my first assumption. People certainly are quick to blame our friends, when they really have no more idea how our powers work than anyone else.
