Running my own Star Wars Quest. Set 1500 years from the Original Trilogy. Does not follow the Extended Universe books (though I have read a few may use some as inspiration).

You are Human. Options for playing other characters will come up in future.

2d1 Roll for Gender.

1. Male
2. Female

I'm hoping we get to play some kind of gunslinging force adept. Knocking blaster bolts out of the air with other blaster shots using force-enabled gun kata is just the coolest.

Yep, like you draw your gun first.
>>
Charisma : 1/5
Intelligence : 3/5
Wisdom: 1/5
Body: 4/5
Willpower: 4/5
Initiative: 5/5

>Roleplay Guideline:
Attempt to roleplay this character within the boundries of the roles that have been given. A one in charisma means you are plain, but not ugly. A five in willpower means you have a lot of willpower, but not an unlimited supply of the stuff.

As the story progresses we may move away from the boundaries as we find out who our Protagonist is.
>>
>>24512444
We shoot first, we are tough and we are stubborn as all fuck. Also we're a dick and have little to no common sense.
>>
Rolled 6

>>24512444

So we're pretty much an assassin droid - No WIS or CHA, but were tough and a natural killer.
>>
>>24512515
we're*
>>
>>24512509
So, we're stubborn, strong, quick, of average intelligence, and have the common sense and charisma of a rock. We're shit as a leader, most of our long-term plans go to shit, but when we set ourself on a task, we complete it doggedly and without hesitation.

Is that accurate, guys?
>>
>>24512514
>>24512515

Yeah, seems like we're pretty much a natural-born killer/secret agent. The unremarkable CHA makes us even better for that sort of work.
>>
>>24512534
We're basically the perfect follower.
>>
>>24512541
>secret agent
We don't have the Charisma for lies or the Wisdom for common sense. Wetwork, maybe, but we would be a terrible intelligence agent. We're a killer. Or possibly a bounty hunter. We're something require stubborn violence and a lack of hesitation.
>>
>>24512552
The muscle for a crime boss, an enforcer, or some other line of work that only requires a dumb thug.
>>
>>24512546
This.
We are the bad guy's right hand.
>>
>>24512546
Great for an NPC, but I wonder if this works for a PC. Players will be too tempted to act out of character.
>>
>>24512584
We're reasonably smart. What we lack is common sense and charm. We would make a great muscle, second in command, thug, or mercenary. There are just as many positions for that in legal lines of work. But yes, those would all work.

We're neither a leader nor a person who makes good plans. We're otherwise a quite competent individual.

>>
>>24512637

>>
Bear with me. Getting all the names for stuff write is a chore.
>>
Our story begins in a galaxy far, far away. On the planet Tatooine. You are a slave by the name of Rhalin Rhycee(Pronounced - Rice). You have a half-brother by the name of Tarlin Rhycee who is a year older than you, he is a cripple and suffers from a disease which makes his on the brink of bed bound exhaustion at all times. You work for Elkor Regitorre (a Bothan), the sleazy owner of 'Reggie's!' a motel/bar.

Since you have been a slave you have been saving credits to buy your freedoms. It hasn't been easy saving the tips lodgers give you; spending half on your medical bills and stashing the other half beneath the floorboards in the room you share together in the motel. You currently have 500 credits. You need 600 to pay Mr. Regitorre for your freedoms and however much else to get by once you're gone.

(any questions before I continue?)
>>
>>24512804
No questions here.
>>
>>24512804
Any other family members? Friends? Possessions?? What is it that we do?
>>
>>24512804

600 creds is for ourselves alone, or for the brother as well? Although the way he's described maybe the furry perv of a boss would be willing to give us a discount if we take him off his hands.

How much does a shuttle fare to closest civilised world cost? What sort of education do we have? Are we skilled in the fine art of battle?
>>
>>24512804
Hmmm, sounds like we need to start saving to get Tarlin an extensive cybernetic overhaul. He should be our number one priority once we get our freedom.
>>
>>24512912

incidentally, how are our relations with the bro? And what are his other skills? Is he smarter, prettier?
>>
>>24512864
You are a slave who works for Mr. Regitorre. You bounce outside his motel, using your strength to keep the drunkards at bay.

>>24512906
It'll cost 300 credits your freedom. And another 300 for his.

A shuttle would cost 50 credits for a standard shuttle. Less if you want to take less safe options.

You're a brawler at best.

>>24512950
He is your best friend in the universe. You'll both do anything for one another.
>>
>>24512950
I sure hope he has the Int and Wis to be our mastermind.
>>
>>24512965
Let me know if there's anything else that needs immediate clearing up before i begin i n earnest.
>>
>>24512979
Nah, no more questions for now.
>>
>>24512979
I think we're ready to begin.
>>
It's late at night and you stand outside 'Reggie's!' tending the que to get in. You breathe the warm night air and occassionaly glance up at the billions of stars above you...a reminder that there's more to this universe than a wamp rat infested hive like Mos Eisely. You bop your head to the muffled sound of the jazz being played within as two young male chiss approach with identifaction tags in hand. There look up at your broad frame with glassy eight ball eyes.

One of the Chiss gives a shout in anger. He curses you with a hiss, and then leaves with his buddy.

Next two Twi-lek's, one blue, one green, both smoking hot, approach with a smile. Reggie's given you strict instructions not to let in any whores that aren't on his payroll, however, you're also to give entry to the hotties.

'Hey, baby' says the blue one, pursing her lips and blowing you a kiss. Both give sultry smiles.

You stand outside dealing with patrons for another hour before Reggie pokes his head out of the doorway. His fur ripples as he calls you inside. You follow him to find the bar bustling with sentient creatures talking in a dozen different languages.

You're led past the counter into the back where Tarlin stands with a little girl.

Tarlin has a pale face and clumps missing from his hair. Even as he stands he holds onto a bannister to support himself. He gives a slight smile of welcome when he sees you. The girl, who looks around twelve or thirteen, has black spikey hair like the fur of a spider.

'This is Jinka' says Reggie idly 'I bought her today at the market, see that she settles in. She'll be working tomorrow'

The Bothan surveys you all, his ears twitching, then goes back out front to tend to the patrons.
'Hello, Jinka' you say, kneeling to her height.

She doesn't say anything. She looks scared.

'I'm Rhalin Rhycee' you say. She allows herself to smile a little.
'Where is she staying, Tarlin? you ask.
'Our room, she's been given a new bunk' says Tarlin, wearily.

Your jaw tightens. What a cheap scate! Your room is barely big enough for you and Tarlin as it is. With the inclusion of Jinka they'll hardly be any space at all.

You take Jinka's bag, which is filled with raggy clothes, and walk into your room. There is a sloping wall on one side with a steel bed bolted to the wall. With two more to the otherside. There is a window and...not much else. There is your own box full of clothes, and beneath that beneath the floorboard is your stash of money.

You expect some kind of reply, or at least a reaction, from Jinka, but she turns on her side and goes to sleep. It's a long night as you go back out and finish your work. By the time the sun rises the following morning and the last of the patrons trickle out you finally return to your bed. You get about an hour of sleep before you're woken up by Tarlin. You watch too many holo-romances. It's just another busy day at the Furry Reggie's Bed n Breakfast
>>
'He needs you to go with Jinka on a sandhunt' he says

Sand hunts consist of driving around on a speeder all day shooting whatever critters you can find. It can be quite fun.

Feeling light headed from lack of sleep you roll out of bed and wander out front. You're already dressed. You find a Dug by the name of Godebba sitting at the counter with Reggie. Old buddies sharing a drink. Jinka stands behind them sweeping the floors. She looks up at you and gives a small wave.

'Ahhh, Rhalin!' drones Reggie tipsily, still awake from last night. 'Go with Godebba's boys and get hunting. Don't come back until you get something work a few credits, got that?'

>Yessir.
>Do I get a blaster this time?
>Are you sure this is safe for Jinka?
