I have the opportunity to start early tonight because I sent my wife to the theatre. Check the archives on foolz if you need to catch up on something, or just ask in thread. Will be posting an updated smutbin at the end of the thread, so stick around if that's your thing.

~~~~~~
The day's journey back to town shows you just how close the pirates came to discovering New Bounty. If they had found the town, they could have come back in force, and destroyed it. A chilling thought. Even so, you only avoided disaster by grace of Rezna. She single handedly killed nine bandits, and captured the one travelling with you now, Haz. Of course, you'll have nightmares now from what you saw, but probably not as bad as he will.
The five of you arrive at Hamad's house. "Okay, now let's go over this again.", you say. "We're here to tell Hamad about the threat facing New Bounty. You, Haz, you're going to tell him everything you can about your town of Barbado, the pirates occupying it, and the potential for trade should the pirates be defeated. You're going to help us convince him to send us as a 'trade delegation', which really means we're going to cleanse the fuck out of your town. Understand?"
The bandit seems to understand, but Rezna pokes her head over his shoulder and whispers. "Do your best." It takes a solid ten minutes to stop his weeping.
~~~~~

Once inside, you all sit around Hamad's large table. You and he exchange level stares. You note that he does have much more gray hair than when last you met. Melissa and Daliah flank Haz, and Rezna sits happily next to you. She's been acting strangely since the incident earlier, not in a bad way, just...like a buildup of something. Like a storm about to break. Still, you don't get any terrifying vibes.

"Hamad. We found a group of bandits today. They were less than six hours from town, and they were prepared to do violence. This man is the survivor. His name is Haz. He will tell you what he told us."

The sky is dark when Haz finishes answering Hamad's questions. Hamad looks pensive.

"The way I see it, we have two choices. We either ignore the town of Barbado, and hope the pirates do not send any more search parties, or we send a team to drive off the pirates. The first option isn't wise, we might all have our throats cut in the night at any time. So, that said, I charge you, Keith, with this task. What say you?"

We'll be setting off in the morning."
>>
>>24908112
"I care about this town, and the people in it. So for their sake, and other reasons, I will do this."

Hamad nods. "Hopefully the pirates don't slap you around as easily as I do."

Rezna twitches slightly, and Haz jumps up screaming. "Shut up! SHUT UP ARE YOU STUPID?!" Hamad turns a curious eye to him. "Watch who you call stupid. Why are you so afraid of a little girl anyways? Some pirate."

Haz circles the table and grabs Hamad's lapels. Putting himself nose to nose, he continues to scream. "YOU WEREN'T THERE MAN, YOU DIDN'T SEE."

~~~~
Hamad asks Daliah to stay the night with him, to keep an eye on the bandit. She acquiesces, and you take Melissa and Rezna home to prepare for the long journey.
Melissa speaks of serious matters. "We shall have to have that village boy watch our farm, I shall leave him a list of instructions for the animals, you should leave a list of things regarding the crops. And we'll need supplies for two weeks there, and two weeks back."
Rezna is still simmering happily, sitting next to you on the cart bench. Her mind seems to be elsewhere.
As you arrive home, you begin packing for the long journey. Other than the Relics, which you already have ready to go, is there anything else you want to bring with you?
You pack your supplies up in several saddle bags, and put them near the door. "Hey, Rezna, can you pack some rope for me? I'm beat." And with that, you go to bed. You've been through some shit today, and you need your rest.
~~~~~~~~~~

That was a harrowing night, you don't know quite how to feel, but you get over it.

Melissa and Rezna are already awake before you, and are waiting patiently for you to join them. And so you do, cautiously. "Ladies, um, last night?" Melissa laughs and hugs you. "Oh Keith, it's okay. Just because a girl took charge doesn't make you less of a man."

Whatever, you guess. The three of you load the asses and head back into town to pick up Daliah and Haz.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Melissa hands the instructions for farm care to the young lad with a taste for silver. "Now, for every thing I don't find to my liking when I come back, that's less money for you." The boy nods, and heads off towards your farm. He's a pretty trustworthy kid, so you put it out of your mind.
Daliah kisses you gently, and then climbs on board her donkey. Melissa stays on hers, and you and Rezna share the other. "I'm sorry Haz, it looks like you're walking. If you get sore, you and I could switch places."
He seems content to walk.
Hamad bids you farewell, and you set off to the west.
Days pass, a week, then a few more days.
You estimate you're about three days out from Barbado, when you come across a throng of people. There's easily twenty of them, heading in your direction on the road.
You call your party to a halt and speak to Haz. "I need to know ASAP if those people are friend or foe." Haz nods, and jogs ahead to intercept.
It's too far to hear clearly, but the conversation seems to go well. There's hugging and backslapping. Soon enough, Haz rounds the group up and brings them back to you. "Excellent news, Keith! Really excellent news! These are some of my friends from Barbado, and they've defected from the village! I told them what we were planning, and they've agreed to help us, if you like."
Mostly what we want is people that can get us in past the defenses unnoticed, and that can give us a layout of the town.
[X] Sure, I'll assume direct control of a score of villagers for combat purposes
At the very least get information on the current state of the village and have them smuggle us into the village. We don't want it to be an open war between our dudes and their dudes, that's a terrible idea, but they would make excellent guides and be great for mopping up after we take actions to deal with the pirates.
also, I agree. an open war sounds like a bad idea. we should try to take them all out quickly and quietly.
we will be like the 10th plague incarnate. we will move through quickly and quietly and kill all those deemed unfit
>>
You nod. "That is good news indeed, though I'd like to avoid them being involved in direct combat. Tell me, what is the village like now?"
Haz converses with a few townsfolk quickly, and the news is obviously grim. "Well, Keith, the pirates were tired of pretending to rule through a puppet government, and simply moved into the town in full. Houses burn and smoulder, women are unsafe in the streets. It's terrible." Haz pauses, then continues. "Apparently Abeccean, the Pirate King has docked his flagship in the harbour, and currently takes up residence in the village hall. He's dangerous Keith, but if you can kill him, the pirates are likely to scatter."
You think to yourself on strategy. The new helping hands add a certain amount of aid to any plan you decide to enact. As far as you see it, you have four options, and you can either focus on one, or multitask.
[ ] Full Frontal Assault. From East to West, sweep the village, and kill em all Johnny.
[ ] Sneak attack by sea. Scuttle the ships, trapping the pirates on land, where you can eliminate them.
[ ] Try to sneak through town to the village hall, and offer the Pirate King a duel.
[ ] Sting the pirates, drawing them out into the countryside with Gorilla Warfare.
You can pick any one option wholeheartedly, or you can assign goals to one or more of the girls, Haz, or the villagers. The villagers act as a unit.
>>
>>24909120
Haz stays far, far away from her at all times.
>>
>>24909120
That actually might kill the shark. If the manatee can hold the shark still for a bit, it will die.
>>
>>24909231
Who lives in the Town Hall now? We could potentially lock it up at night, set it on fire, and kill anyone that comes out.
>>
>>24909231
Okay, I think we should do the sneaking into town, but the duel is a bad idea, he won't abide by any honorable terms.
I say we have someone go and make the ships not sea worthy, but in a way that it looks like they'll sail until something goes a tiny bit wrong and they break apart. Weakening the core of the mast, fucking with the rudders, sails, or keel.
Then we sneak into town, set the village hall on fire with the pirate king in it, kill him, and as the pirates flee they sink to the bottom.
>>
>>24909349
I don't see the point in sabotaging the ships, if the pirates aren't in them. Just station squads at the docks to stop any pirates from escaping, and it should be fine.
>>
>>24909403
100+ pirates might break through your cordon of 20 villagers. If you want to finish them all, you'll have to destroy the ships.
>>
>>24909443
I want to take those ships intact, though.
There must be a way to kill the pirates without destroying the ships.
>>
>>24909231
Guerrilla warfair might be our best option. Could you imagine Daliah and Rezna taking out pirates predator style? Plus we could mantle Arnie.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCG_ETMZvyg
>>
>>24909502
Hypothetically, you and one of the girls could try to hold the docks while the other two girls and the villagers drive them into you.
It's a combat heavy idea, but it's sound tactics.
>>
>>24909502
it's simple, we wait til the dead of night, and start killing them all, going from the bottom ranks towards the top.
or, we wait until the pirate ships go out, we kill all the pirates remaining in the town, then we wait for the pirates at sea to return.
when all or most of them, get a few people on each ship, to take care of the remaining pirates on them, then get the ships out of the dock.
then, we take care of the rest on the land.
Not having the medallion greatly limits her power. If you actually want her to kill, she's gonna need that relic. If you want her to kill well, she'll need reward.
If you want her to kill everything, she needs risk, too.
Toss Providence in for good measure, if you want to stack all your relics on Rezna.
"Alright Haz, you take the villagers to the docks, quiet as you can. I need you all to steal the ships and drop anchor at a safe distance. Don't return until sunup." With a smart salute, and one last look at Rezna, Haz turns and rallies the villagers to his cause. You watch as they leave, then turn to the girls.
"This is going to be dangerous, I'm not going to lie. Here's the plan though, as far as I get it. Daliah, you and I are going to kidnap a pirate. We're going to bring him to Rezna and Melissa, where Rezna will harvest him. She'll use whatever power she gains to gain more power, etc etc. Melissa will boost Rezna's abilities with Providence as best as she can. Understand?"
The girls all nod, so you take off your rings and give them to Rezna. "Put these on baby, just promise me you'll be careful." Rezna takes them happily. "Oh Keith, you know you can always trust me!"
The blood seeps from the skin on your bare arms and face. You look to your wives, and see they are experiencing a similar phenomenon. The bloodsweat evaporates into a red fog that rises into the sky. Gazing around, you see similar mists rising over the town of Barbado as well. A dark red cloud begins to form over the village, swirling slowly at first, and then with increasing intensity. You become dizzy, and have to sit. The sweating stops as you do, but the situation does not.
The cloud bursts, and rain begins to fall on the village. Blood Rain, naturally. As soon as the first drops touch Rezna, a whipcrack sound is heard, and she disappears. With a similar noise, she reappears beside you. Her eyes are aglow with power. Her voice resonates in the sky as she speaks to you. "Keith, my love, I will go kill the pirates now. I will bring the leader to you, so you may feel manly."
With that, she vanishes again, with the whipcrack noise. You glance at your wives. They're looking back at you in abject fear. "See, girls? I told you we should keep her."
~~~~

Whip cracks sound in the village, sometimes nearer, sometimes farther. The rainfall intensifies, it's a literal torrent now. You hold your wives to stay together, Providence projecting a bubble of sanity around the three of you. "Keith, do you think she's okay?" You shake your head. "No, I think she's great."

The sky shakes again. "I think you're great too, love." Jesus fuck. How much power does she have? "All of it.", booms the air around you.

The whipcracks increase in pace.

Aieee, she can read our thoughts now?

With what probably runs through Keith's head about his wives most of the time, that's going to be a dangerous prospect. Though it's still probably the safest line of thought for him to stick to.

An hour passes and you begin to worry. Though the rain has let up, you haven't heard any whip noises in a while, and there's no sign of Rezna. You stand up to begin a search and rescue operation when the noise happens again, behind you. You turn to hug her, but you're confronted by a seven foot tall man. He's strongly built, with an iron mask that obscures his features. He brandishes an enormous scimitar at you, and shouts. "ARRRRR, I HAVE YOU NOW, YOU DOG, YOU'LL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY MEN!"

You jump back and pull out your knife, but then Rezna peeks her head out from behind him. Eyes still alight, she moves her arms like a puppeteer, and the pirate moves in synch.

Daliah stammers, stymied for once. "Rezna, you're a god of death!" Rezna pouts slightly. "I AM NOT," the pirate booms, "BLOOD IS THE MAGIC OF LIFE. TELL HER KEITH!"

"Aww gee Rezna, I was hoping I'd get to deal with him myself. He's dead, isn't he?"

Rezna shakes her head, and the pirate does as well.

"Nuh uh, I didn't. I said I wouldn't. He's just under my complete control. I can feel his every impotent thought. I can release him at any time, but I shouldn't, because he's dangerous."

You nod. "What makes him so dangerous?"
Rezna smiles, "The mask, silly. Watch."

Rezna pantomimes removing a mask, and the pirate king does it himself. As it drops to the ground, he shrivels and ages. In moments, what was a man to rival Hamad's physique is just a tired old man, in his late sixties you'd guess. Even Melissa would be able to overpower him.

"Clever Rezna, this is why we get you to do all the hard stuff. I couldn't love a more useful girl."

She beams at the praise, and runs over to hug you, as does the old man. She sees this, and snaps her fingers. Both his shins shatter and you can see bone poking out as he falls to the ground. "Don't touch my Keith."

Melissa turns and empties her stomach delicately. Daliah looks a strange shade of green brown. You're getting frighteningly used to it.

You raise your hands in defense. "Okay, okay, I didn't know. Anyways, Daliah, what do you know about the relic?"

Daliah steadies her nerves, and speaks. "Aegis. Puts you in peak physical condition while you wear it, but you still age, hypothetically. You heal faster while you wear it, too. Much, much faster. Almost instantly, really. I don't know how we would have killed him, if we had to."

"Tell me, pirate scum, where are your navigational maps? And where is your treasure? Tell me these things, and I'll allow you a swift death."

The old man coughs on the ground, and you nudge his leg to coerce him gently.

"Damn it boy what do you want me to say? I found this mask in another town long ago, and it allowed me to live the perfect life. I could loot, pillage, rape, and kill with impunity. My pirate gang was enormous. I owned land, towns, people. I don't regret a single damn thing. I apologize for nothing. You'll find everything you want on my ship. Now, if you would, my head. I'm tired of your girl living in it."

You nod, and take your long knife out.

"I hope you find peace."
"All men hope. Few live."

With that exchange, you slice clean through his spinal cord, and you let him fall.

"Rezna, I know you don't understand now, and I know why you don't understand, and I don't blame you. But please believe me when I say the following. When you must kill, do not enjoy it. Do not prolong it, and do not get creative with it. That's what evil people do, and you are not evil. You are the girl I love, and you will not do things like that."

"I'm so sorry Keith, I'm so, so so sorry. I've been a bad girl, and you deserve only the best. That's why Melissa and Daliah are your wives and I'm just your whore, and I don't even deserve to be that! You're so good, and I just keep making mistakes! I don't deserve you, I don't deserve you!" You've been on your own and suffered much cruelty in your life, you may have lost your moral compass, but we're here for you, we'll teach you what you don't know, what you've missed out on, and I'll never give up on you.

Now stop crying over this, everybody makes mistakes, and I'm sure you'll learn from this one just like I hope to learn from my own.

Thank you for taking care of the pirates for us, and I'm sorry I made you do it. I do love you my pretty little one.
>>
>>24911567
Smile, put a hand under her chin, raise her face up to meet Keith's eyes, and wipe away the tears. "You've had a very hard life, Rezna. What you didn't deserve was what happened to you as a girl. Which is a very understandable reason for this bastard's actions to get under your skin. They get under mine, too, and believe me when I say that my first thoughts about anyone doing that involve very creative flaying and immolation. But despite all that, Rezna, you've managed to become a loving, caring, human being. You mean well, and you're trying, which is more than many people can say. That you got through it all as undamaged as you did is a miracle. Most people wearing the relics you're wearing would turn into a monster. You could rule the world with an iron fist and make sure nothing bad ever happens to anyone again, ever. But you'd have to turn everyone into puppets, like the pirate leader over there, and that's not a life I'd wish on my worst enemy.

It's easy to be a good person when life is good. It's harder to be a good person after going through what you have. I see you rising to the challenge, and it makes me proud. Nobody expects perfection, Rezna; just learn, and grow.

And I'll not put up with anyone thinking of you as a whore, yourself included."

Then kiss her on the forehead.
>>
>>24911567
Hug her tight, pick her up and bring her up to eye level while hugging her, run a hand through her hair.

"Rezna, don't be like that, you're not my whore, you're not anyone's whore. I have never once thought of you that way. You're one of the women I love and I will not tolerate anyone, even you, calling you a whore.

Marriage is a word for describing people who love each other, care for each other, and belong to each other, and I love you, care for you, and belong to you just as I love, care for, and belong to Daliah and Melissa. The only difference is a label that is applied, a label that does not change in any way what lies underneath it. If I was not married to Daliah and Melissa I would still love them just as much.

When I told you I loved you I was not lying, I love you as much as I love Daliah and Melissa. You're special to me, well and truly special and beautiful.

Everyone makes mistakes, I've made more than my share of mine, it's part of being human. And no matter what mistakes I make, you make, any of us make, the rest of us will be there to help them stand up and learn from their mistakes. Do you understand Rezna? Do you understand my beautiful, little, love of my life?"

Rezna looks up with tears in her eyes. "Truly? You mean these things?"

You nod, and beckon your wives over for a group hug. It's a kind embrace, one broken only by a whipcrack that brings the three remaining huggers together a bit. Rezna warped again.

She's back in a flash though. "Where'd you-" Rezna gets down on one knee in front of the three of you.

"Listen, please. Daliah, you were my only childhood friend, and you never forgot about me, even when your life was perfect. When you found me, you took me in without question. You cared for me and brought me back to life. You're more like your mother than you know. And then you shared your husband with me."

She shifts her gaze to Melissa. "I was a stranger to you, and a damn dangerous one. And yet, out of the goodness of your heart, you took me in as well. You knew I'd heal from my scars faster if you spent time with me, and so you did, selflessly. And you too, shared your husband with me."

Finally she shifts her gaze to you. "Keith. You know exactly how I feel about you, but I'll never stop telling you. If you wish me to be a better person for you, I will, and gladly. But I need you to help me. You took me in without argument, at a request from your wives. And you took damn good care of me. And you still do."

Rezna opens her right hand and reveals a lump of smooth black mineral. It glitters in the moonlight. She closes her hand back over it, and then opens again. Three rings are in her palm. One large, and two small. They clink together, as though magnetic.

"I do not know if I deserve it, but will the three of you please marry me? I must have you all though. If one of you denies me, I will understand."

Daliah starts. "I do not think father will marry me again, and to a woman no less, but I will consider us married. Truly, I already did. Can we go get the treasure now?" Unceremoniously she takes a ring and places it on her hand.

Melissa is next. She curtsies. "I'm honored. It will be fun to have another sister to raise mugs with. I'll make a special liquor to celebrate the wedding!"
She too takes a ring.

It comes to you.

"Well yeah, of course. I just didn't want to bring it up, already having two wives, and all. You pick up the last ring, pop it on your right hand, and pick Rezna up and hug her tightly.

"But yes, let's go get that fucking treasure."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day, flies overrun the village. You're swatting them perpetually.
As you reach the docks, you see the Pirate King's ship for the first time. It's an impressive vessel, replete with a topless mermaid at the bow. The gangplank is lowered, and you climb aboard. Haz greets you, though is even more fearful of Rezna than ever.
"Good job, sire. I could never have imagined this day would come. I just have a few questions for you before you leave with the treasure and such."
You fold your arms and nod. This better not be a catch.
"What's your next question?"
Haz shuffles a bit. "Well, we need to trade badly, but we have few resources. Is there anything we have that we could trade with your town for?"
"SALT." You're vehement. "I haven't had salt in over a year, and that's just wrong. Bring us as much salt as you can produce, and you'll have food in return. Other things, too."
"Any other questions?"
Haz smiles. "Just one. My wife is just a normal woman, and she dominates me with an iron fist. It looks like you have three, and yet you rule with ease. Given how much stronger they are than you, how is this possible?"
On the converse if I asked them to do something for me they'd take care of it for me. We belong to each other, nobody is exactly in charge.
Though sometimes they do what I say because they find it amusing and like making me happy.
But above all else, the smartest suggestion wins out, none of us are so stubborn that they want their idea to win over the best one."
It's a bit like... four men rowing a boat. We're all going in the same direction. We're all pushing oars.
"Well, Haz, here's the secret, are you ready for it?"
He leans in, anxiously.
"You have to marry one of the three perfect women in the world."
He leans back, laughing, and your wives, (boy it's nice not having to qualify that term every time), your wives are very pleased.
End thread. Next thread we will explore the treasure, the maps, and we'll go back home to the farm, maybe produce some mead, harvest a bit, roast a goat.
Questions, Comments, Concerns?
Wait, can a captain marry people? If so,whoever becomes the new captain of the ship could make our marriage to Rezna officially official.
>>
>>24912641
>roast a goat.
Unless we find a town that's just swimming in livestock, or we go and LIBERATE Shady River, I don't think that's a good use of valuable animals.
>>
>>24912641
Rezna is totally OP, but then again if Daliah had Risk/Reward and Sow she would have been like a hurricane through wheat on the pirates, and we've punched mountains apart with them, so I suppose it evens out. Relics are very useful.
We probably shouldn't take all of the treasure, they need money too, and get Barbados to start trading missions with the villages nearby using some of the gold so we can start getting exotic stuff.
Given the introduction of a trading port town we might want to spread the seed drill and the like to the rest of New Bounty to increase production so we get exports going and improve regional prosperity. I doubt anyone would object to us taking X% off of the increased yield from using our agricultural techniques and inventions, not the base yield, just the stuff above what they would have already gotten so they have no chance of getting less product than before.
We killed the old captain...Can we marry ourselves?
>>
>>24912822
Given that he was a pirate I think that is how Captaincy works, so yes, we officiated it, it's as official as it needs to be.
We'll probably let them use the ship, after removing some of the piratey bits, for trade missions.
>relics are OP
I know. And we only have half of them.
To keep them all, or to destroy them all, that will be the question.
>>
>>24912844
>we're leaving the ship in Barbado
Oh really? I thought we'd carry it miles inland like Jorrvaskr.
Well I'm all for having the Harvest Goddess as our mother-in-law.
well, I guess Melissa counts as Nordic, and we are producing mead. Does the helm have horns on it? If so, I hope we lift.
...there's some question there?
>>
>>24912903
Don't you mean having to put down the Harvest Goddess because she has spent too long dead and it now blinded by pain and anger.
last thread I mentioned trying to make a Smutbin for the night Daliah and Melissa got together, I'm still nitpicking through the pastebin but I can post it in a moment if anyone wants.
>wouldn't expect great things, this is the first time I've done something like this.
We won't be too harsh on you, smut is smut and you've done more than the rest of us.
If you want us to criticize a bit and help you improve we'll do our best.
Post it.
Okay, here goes. Hope you gentlemen like it.
OP is probably not here anymore so I'll try to get up early to post it in a running thread.
I liked it, it was good smut, you missed a bit of capitalization and other minor grammar things, but overall it was nice.
Just keep on writing smut and it'll get better and better.
Not bad. Slightly rushed, I think, towards the main act, but good otherwise.
