You are Three-Claw, a Yautja hunter of the Cloud Viper clan. You have been tasked by your clan Matriarch to investigate breaches of forbidden knowledge by clan Weyland on the planet Fey'lenn, or Pandora, as it is known in the human tongue.

Your mind is filled with urgency. Ashen-Blade has perhaps a few more hours before the symbiotic matures far enough to warrant removal useless. You must hurry.

As you make your way back to your teammates, you notice the human scientist you met earlier hunched over a nearby console, tapping away.

You shove your wrist-blade into his back and wrench him to one side, throwing him against the wall. He is dead. You glance at the console. He was in the middle of erasing some data.

You halt the deletion before it finishes completely and rip out the data chip within. The data inside may prove useful later.

As you sprint down the hallway, you hear the loud chatter of a heavy weapon. A hailstorm of bullets rain down the hallway, forcing you to duck into a nearby room. You wait until the weapon stops firing, and rush across. You hear the crackle and buzzing of plasma weapons, as your teammates return fire.

You sprint down the hallway and meet up with your team. You begin to pass Ashen-Blade his wargear. He seems more lucid now, as the effects of the drug are beginning to wane.

"How long do I have?" You hear Ashen-Blade mutter.

"A few hours. We need to get you to my ship, and quickly."

"Damn!" Mickey curses under his breath. "Fast way up," he points down the left end of the hallway, "Front door. That way." He points.

As if hearing him, a hail of heavy slugs rain down from where he's pointing.

"My ship..." Ashen-Blade mutters. "It's underground... in the caverns... beneath..."

"Can reach. Through Hangar. That way," Mickey points in the opposite direction.

Burning-Scythe fires a few plasma shells in its direction blindly. "Damn heavy auto-cannon. They've got us locked down. We can't assault that gun head-on."

You acknowledge, and tear the covers off a nearby vent. Mickey turns to you and tosses something to you. You catch it. It seems to be a grenade of some sort.

"Smoke," he tells you.

You acknowledge, and begin to crawl towards the direction of the heavy weapon. You find an exit above the hallway about 30 meters behind the auto-cannon. In addition to its two gunners, there are 4 synthetics and 2 human guards along side it.

You prime the smoke grenade and throw it down towards the emplaced weapon. It detonates with a loud bang and immediately, the hallway begins to fill with smoke.

You drop down, and wasting no time, sprint down the hall with your plasma-caster firing. You tune your vision mask to IR and immediately kill both gunners manning the weapon.

Two synthetics quickly raise their rifles to aim in your direction, but by then, you're already upon them. You skewer one with your combi-stick and decapitate another with your wrist-blade on the backswing.

Your teammates, with the heavy gun now silent, begin to rush to your aid.

Together, you finish off the patrol.

"Reinforcements," Burning-Scythe informs you, as he points down the hall. You see several squads of synthetics running down the hall, attempting to take back your position.

Do you:


A. Guard the position and use the autocannon to take out the reinforcements. (DC: Medium-Easy)
B. Have someone man the autocannon to hold them off while the rest of you run.

"Move!" you bark to your teammates, as you pull away from the auto-cannon.

"Left!" Mickey shouts, as he leads you into a cargo elevator. He punches a few buttons, and the door swings shut. You feel yourself descend.

Suddenly, your vision mask's sensors begin to spike, as it picks up a host of new communication signals.

"Looks like they found my jammer," Mickey mutters in his native tongue.

"Three-Claw! Are you there? Can you hear me?" It's Steel-Arrow.

"Yes. I can hear you. We found Ashen-Blade. We're trying to reach his ship now." you respond.

"Good to hear. The jamming field just cleared up. You've got company. There's a massive drop ship convoy with escort coming to your position now."

"This way," Mickey points. You follow. You find yourself in a large underground hangar, with several human dropships and fighters sitting on launchpads.

You dive behind a large storage bin as bullets whiz over your head. You pop up and take a synthetic down with your spear gun. There must be dozens of guards here. They're well entrenched. You hear a buzz behind you as the elevator door closes, and begins to ascend.

Your teammates take cover and begin to trade shots with the humans.

You hear Mickey shout to you over the gunfire. "That way. Room. Mine shaft. I hold. You. Cloak. Go!" he shouts.

Do you:

A. Engage cloak with the rest of the team and head for the exit while Mickey distracts the hangar guards. (DC: Medium)

Burning-Scythe acknowledges, cloaks, and pulls Ashen-Blade with him. Sharp-Strike sends off a few wildly aimed plasma-caster shots of the enemy heads before he, too, engages his cloak.

You need to get their attention. You notice a few fuel drums stacked up next to an open crate filled with munitions.

You look up, and see a large crane dangling from above, supported by two steel I-beams.

You turn to Mickey. "Smoke?"

He shakes his head. "No. No more."

You time the auto-cannon teams' approach with the swinging crane above. Your arms tense. You judge the moment, and fling the disc upwards. The serrated disc spins to life mid-flight and shear through both beams with ease. The crane groans, and tumbles down, smashing into both auto-cannons with a thump.

Chaos fills the hangar as tracers begin streaming in your direction. It seems you've gotten their attention.

You look towards the exit with anxiety. Two human guards suddenly drop as they're impaled by blades, and three flickering shadows move fluidly through the door as they leave the hangar.

Beside you, you hear Mickey curse. "I'm out," he mutters, as he pulls the last empty magazine out of his submachine gun.

Suddenly, you hear a loud rumble from the far side of the hanger. You can hear the muted thump of heavy steps, foreshadowing the approach of something massive.

"Oh... fuck me," you hear Mickey mutter.

You hear the distinct whine of spinning barrels, and suddenly, everything around you explodes as a hail of armor piercing rounds envelope your direction.

"EXOSUIT! RUN!" You hear Mickey cry. The two you duck and roll from shredded cover to shredded cover, attempting to outrun the hail of heavy shells. You slam your backs against the side of a piece of heavy machinery, which seems to offer more dependable cover. You peer out to see a large walking war machine armed with a gatling cannon and a rack of rocket launchers staring at you from the distance.

Do you:

A. Hold your position and try to delay them as best you can.
B. Try to take pot-shots at it with charged up shots from your plasma-caster. (DC: Medium-Hard)

You take a deep breath and dive out from cover, your plasma-caster spitting out death. The exo-suit rumbles forward towards you, its gatling cannon spitting death.

Suddenly, it's knocked backwards, as a dense spear strikes its torso and shreds its gyro. Its cannon tips up, and a stream of shells slam into the ceiling above you.

You leap on top of a nearby machine and fire two more plasma bolts at the exo-suit. It regains its balance and begins to once again track you with its gun. Suddenly, its cockpit glass cracks, and the entire machine goes silent. Its arms are frozen, and immobile.

Mickey's shot took out the pilot.

"We're at the ship," you hear Burning-Scythe tell you. "I'm putting Ashen-Blade into his medical pod now."

You glance around you, and notice several more synthetics move up towards you.

Getting to the ship with just the two of you will be difficult.

Do you:

A. Tell him you'll join him at the ship.
B. Tell him to start it up, and you'll join him at the ventilation shaft.

You turn and regroup with Mickey. "We need to get to the vent shaft."

"Follow!" He tells you, and begins to retreat towards the back of the hangar, taking aimed shots as he goes.

He stops below an air vent cover, about half a meter above him, and tosses you your speargun. "Lift," he tells you.

You crouch and brace yourself against the wall. Mickey steps onto your shoulder and crawls through the vent above. You turn, and lift yourself up.

The two of you crawl along the shaft. It progressively becomes wider as you proceed, and soon, you find yourselves overlooking the large, round ventilation shaft.

Do you:

A. Instruct Steel-Arrow to fire down the shaft and break it wide open now.
B. Climb down and see if you can reach the caverns below.

You grab Mickey and the two of you drop the ground.

You hear a massive crackling as Steel-Arrow's bore cannon opens fire. The super-heated bolt slams through the surface, through the series of fans, and hammers into the bottom of the shaft. The entire facility begins to shake violently from the impact.

You hear the roar of engines below, as Ashen-Spear's ship pushes the debris from its path as it begins to ascend through the shaft.

Do you:

A. Grapple onto the ship with your spear gun and drag Mickey with you. (DC: Medium-Easy)
B. Take a running leap and try to land on top of the ship as it ascends. (DC: Medium)
C. Stay where you are and look for another way upwards.

As the ship passes you, you grab Mickey by the back of his utility harness with one hand and fire your speargun upwards with your other.

Your tethered spear latches on to the ship, and with a jerk, you ascend with it.

As the the ship clears the surface, you detach the tether and drop to the grassy ground.

"How's Ashen-Blade?" You ask.

"He's in the surgical pod. It's going to be rough. We need to make sure the pod has time to work, so no violent movements."

"Fighters incoming," you hear Steel-Arrow shout over the comms. "... and dropships," he adds.

Do you:

A. Tell Burning-Scythe to take Ashen-Blade's ship and get clear while you distract the reinforcements.
B. Tell Burning-Scythe to land the ship nearby and cloak it while you distract the reinforcements.

You reach your ship, and quickly scramble into the cockpit. Mickey straps himself in beside you.

You power up the engines and ascend into the air. The first wave of fighters are within firing range, but below you, you see several missile launchers rise from camouflaged silos.

Do you:

A. Engage the fighters and have Steel-Arrow take out the missile sites.
B. Engage the missile sites while Steel-Arrow holds off the the fighters.

The torpedo slams against the command center and detonates. The missile launchers around the island suddenly stop, and go silent.

You turn your attention towards the inbound fighters. A sudden warning tone lights up as their targeting beams paint your hull.

You bank sharply to the side and begin dogfighting manoeuvres. There are eight fighters in all screening four dropships.

Do you:

A. Expend your seeker missiles at the fighters. (DC: Easy)
B. Close the distance and use your gatling cannons to shred them. (DC: Medium)
C. Break through the fighter screen and target the dropships behind. (DC: Medium-Hard)

You throttle up your engines and charge towards the incoming fighters. Your sudden burst of speed takes them by surprise. You line up your gatling cannon and depress the trigger.

Your ship vibrates as the cannon fires. You shred two of the enemy fighters on your first pass.

A third explosion happens to your left, as Steel-Arrow takes down his target.

You bank and begin to pursue a new target.
