Good Evening Gentlemen! I return to you again! <3

And so, the story of our very dear murderous toy continues...

Our very dear Akuma-chan... Now known as Faefnir
Forged out of a once-baker's soul named Claire... A pitiful woman that had been strangled to death by a beggar for her creation of love.
Called back by her since child-hood friend, Jacob, that had always looked upon Claire fondly, oh so fondly..
Once I granted the dear her body, she killed the man out of spite for turning her into a delightful monster!

And so now, she wears his skin and kills humans in secret to spread the despair that gave her this wonderful second life!
She has also continued baking bread. <3

Welcome to the quest of the Akuma, Good Evening... <3

This is the story thus far!
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Akuma%20Quest

These are your current stats and abilities as of now!

And Something pertaining to your allies! <3

(Recently updated!)

With a mission granted to your little "Family" by your Dearest, Dandy and Diligently Dapper Doctor, you travel to the trading post of Ruinebriar in search of the missing members of the Noah clan.

After finding that the Family was simply too bloodthirsty to visit the town all at once, Ivan doubled back the Covered wagon and you all made camp outside. You issued order for the family to sate themselves out of sight and out of mind while you seek information and employ within.

You find the "Witch" in stocks and later found her to cry and enjoy the taste of your bread, though a gambler, recently made into a toy, quoted the same... Throwing uncertainty to your findings..

You find employ in a bakery after an honest bake-off with a fellow bake-off and discover an interesting new bread that he calls "Baguette." Certainly the name will catch on, yes? (400 something years later..)

The day comes to a close...
>>
You buckle down and act more like a leader at this point.. "We'lll blend in here for a couple of days, survey the town, figure out the guards' schedule, and garner more funds if possible-"

"I'll be work at the brothel!" Madeleine chimes in suddenly, the whole family stairs at her, even Mr. Stumpy, the delirious paraplegic gambler.

You rub your face and Ivan takes over this one for you," You... You can stay here... You can.. ehh... ask them questions in your church clothes, yes? Just... just none of that now." He tries to ease her down off of the idea, though she pouts.

"Well, what should I do in my off-time then? I know Schwere's interested in getting some books from market, and I'm sure SHE'S going to be doing something Magey.. Armbrust could just as well be a guardsman, Ivan just needs to kill something in the woods for money, and Kama's taking care of Kralle and Wendel! I.. I"

"We'd rather you not poison people. How about a barmaid?" You offer

Madeleine snatches that right up," Oh! that's a perfect idea! Yesss!"

The slutty Akuma jumps up and down like a little girl... whatever will we do with this one?

It's decided though... information gathering and blending in...

The family will move liberate the prisoner in three days!

However there's this night to pass...

>[] Simply wait for morning, let the night pass.
>[] Go gallivanting about in the town with the family.
>[] Hunt the nightly roads.
>[] Explore the forest.

I apologize to the good sir that drew this, I had said that I'd make this the OP. However I decided that to stick with the usual picture would be best for everyone.

I still thank you dearly for taking the time to draw this adorable little thing!
>>
We have to help the lady, regardless of her statue has a Noah.

If she's indeed a Noah, helping her is our mission.

If she isn't, she's a mage and an enemy of the church. You all the know the old proverb, the enemy of my enemy if my ally, even if said ally is a dirty human.

>[x] Explore the forest.
We could find something interesting or another akumas.

[X] Go gallivanting about in the town with the family.

We must have some fun, and giving the less controlled ones a chance to practice not killing everything near them would be good.

Wasn't it the Low Roller?

Or have you changed due to a particularly high roll or two?
>>
>>25496022
I've decided to change the second part every thread. I changed due to the lack of low roll recently.
>>
>>25495980
Resident Exorcist, reporting.

I don't like waiting that long. I really, really, REALLY don't like it. We should have someone, say our sneaky stealthy sniper brother Ivan, keep an eye on the 'witch' in the mean time, atleast. Keep anything TOO unpleasant from happening to our potential Noah.

Meanwhile I suppose gallivanting around the town with the family would be most interesting. Probably draw the most attention though.
>>
>>25495980
[x] Let's familiarize ourselves with the town. GALLIVANTING WE GO!
>>
>>25496060
That remind me that we have to formulate a plan of action for rescue mission.

Do you gents think it would be possible to lure the exorcist away from the Noah by any mean?
>>
So it seems that we'll be having gallivanting...

Roll 1d100 please.

Also, DEVIL'S LUCK IS ON as per usual to prevent any discrepancies.

Current retroaction toggle for it is 1.
>>

>>
Rolled 25

>>25496096
Rolling for bread and justice.
>>
>>25496095
Oh that should probably be easy. Just have someone run around the town in their Akuma form. Even if it does not lure the Exorcist away, it will draw attention for CHOMPBZZZ from behind.
>>
Rolled 47

>>25496096
>>
>>25496125

Rolls are in... Something bad will happen in the near future. <3
>>
Rolled 89

>>25496120
This is what I was thinking, but the problem is that our sir knight may be too serious about his orders to move, even under the threat of an akuma attack on the town.

We could have an akuma attack a farm on the outskirt of town and have madeleine in her finder outfit alert the knight.
>>
Also, a question.

Last thread, there were propositions to get Madeleine some sort of hobby.

Any ideas for what it should be? Last I recall was getting her into dancing. If a certain idea draws support, I'll include that in this telling of the story <3
>>
>>25496170
I'd avoid using Madeleine, as the Exorcist will probably be smart enough to know 'this ain't one of the Finders I was traveling with'.

And again, even if it does not lure him off, it might be enough to distract him that either we can sneak up and bite his head off, or our sniperbro Ivan can put a bolt in the back of his head.
>>
>>25496095
Depends. We've already attracted the suspicion of one of the guards. Depending on what they may know of the apostate, they may believe any Akuma presence that shows up would be related to her.

>>25496120
We may not want to attract that much attention.

If the High Priest comes to judge the witch in public, we may be forced to do that. But if she was to be transported elsewhere for the trial, we may gain an oppurtunity to free her without tipping off the people to our presence. We could even do it under the cover of being an anti-Church group (using the recent slaughter we caused as our group's "reason).

>>25496175
Dancing is fine. General performance, maybe?
>>
>>25496175
How about pastry making or general cooking?

The way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

Dancing or music is fine too.
>>
>>25496142
I'm assuming it will be because of whatever happens in this trip of ours?
>>
>>25496196
she could just be a finder on her way back from a mission and happened upon the town.
>>
>>25496266
We'll need to make sure her acting skill is up to snuff.
>>
>>25496175
I think our little tart, another baking pun, would enjoy dancing and perhaps singing. She seems like the sort to express herself physically.

>>25496201
But we're the baker, we'll start doing pastries soon enough, we all need our own unique hobbies.
>>
>>25496312
that almost makes it sound like we want her to disguise herself as a dirty, no-good gypsy.
>>
>>25496312
I was thinking about getting complementary cooking hobby for all the crew until we become an army of wandering chefs.
>>
>>25496344
Eh. Let everyone have their own identity. It's good to have variety.

>>25496337
Only until we manage to up our status in life. Then she'll be a "professional entertainer".
>>
Everyone around the camp seems... tense... Tense at the news of a possible Noah, tense at the fact that there's a town that they don't have the opportunity to enjoy themselves...

Ivan and Armbrust don't have anything to shoot, Madeleine only seems so content to torment Stumpy, the gambler.
Schwere is out of book to read.
Kama and the children alike are restless, even bored with sitting around the campfire. There's nothing else for any of them to do but talk about recent good kills, plot their next kill, and hate the church.. All of those things only serve to get their and your blood boiling and pumped for the next act.

No, you shake your head, this won't do. It's not good for appearing human..

You stand and call for their attention,"Everyone, I propose a night on the town. We'll hit taverns, nightly shops, and other places of our tastes. What say you all to that?" They all look at you, with obvious interest.

Ivan runs his fingers through his beard, scratching," Sounds good by me. Sitting here is getting my bolts itchy.
Armbrust looks over through his helm," Agreed, And an itchy trigger finger is suspect, isn't it?"
Schwere nods on her own and stands right away,"Let's be going then." Her voice is flat, though you can tell she's excited.
Madeleine smiles widely," Oh, ohhh, does this mean I can flirt with men?"
Everyone glares at her, and she backs off a little," W-what?"
Ivan turns to you," Know any good places?"
"Well, there's the Briar's Hearth, but the keep there is stubborn as an ass and greedy to boot. What say we look for the rowdiest place and slip in?"
Kama chips in now," Can I, and the children come as well? I'll make sure they behave, oh pleassse?" She sounds like a child herself.
"Mama, can we kill people?" Asks Kralle and everyone, especially you shoots a glare.
"Kralle, Wendel. There will be no further killing tonight, understood?" Your command rings into the air and the children seize up instantly and nod," Yes, Faefnir, understood."

(1/2)
>>
"Good, we can all go then. Let us be off."

There are a few rowdy places tonight... Of course, the Briar's Hearth is off limits..

>>
Staggering Stag for now. Burn nobleman's folly down on way out. It sounds suspiciously poor.
>>
>>25496758
We shouldn't burn down anything. We burned down the last town we were in, any more arson will look suspicious.
>>
>>25496782

Arson seems to be Faefnir's most preferred crime.
>>
>>25496782

Which is why we shouldn't do it too often. We should savor every act of arson like a delightful glass of wine. If we do it too often, it will lose its uniqueness and appeal.

Lets make every one of our arson unique.

You are most welcome, my despicable Duke! It's probably for the best as some may not be able to find the thread without your impeccable presence to show the way.

As your family struts around the town in the cold of the winter night, you come across one establishment of note that stands to be a bit more rowdy than the others.

"Looks good to me, comrade." Ivan nods as he opens the door to enter the warm hearth.
"Fine by me," Schwere follows, and her cold demeanor with it.

"Guess that's settled..." You begin to go in yourself and Madeleine jumps ahead of you.

"This looks like fun!" She runs in.

The rest of you enter and you see a series of men making merry at the bar, singing with ales and wines alike in a drunken slurrish song. Ivan's already gotten his own mug and joins them, making merry.

Madeleine's already started flirting up some man and took his cup of wine. He's already trying to look up the slit of her skirts.. Whatever made her so saucy?

Armbrust floats past you and gets his own mug of ale, sitting quietly at the bar, listening to everything around him.

Schwere sips a cup of wine at a table in front of a man with cards, seems she's at least the slightest bit amused at the game of cards.

Kama comes in with the kids and orders drink for herself and the children, eliciting a raised eyebrow from the keep.
>>
“Hey now lady, we don't serve drink to little girls and boys. Run off now, eh? Looks bad for busine-”
“I bet I can drink you under the table!” Wendel shouts out to the keep and he glares, a drunken man comes up to him,” Oi, the boy here just gave you a challenge! If his mummy'll let it happ'n you should take th' lad up on it. Y' aint scared now , eh Jim?”

The keep stares at Wendel and laughs out loud,”Oi boy. If a wine Merchant drank all of his stock, he'd be poor. Let me tell you, if you can outdrink Rikkard here, you can have drink on his tab.”

“Oi Jim, that's not what I said, Boys, hey, that's not what I said.”

Jim the keep chuckles at the drunken man,” You think the boy's gonna drink you under?”
The drunk man laughs and finishes the rest of his drink,” Kid you're go'n be puk'n under th' table when I'm done!”

Kama supervises the contest as it progresses...

There's a woman in armor sitting closest to the Hearth, sipping a drink carefully.

One man seems a bit out of place among the crowd... He looks like he hasn't slept well in weeks and he keeps glancing at the door...

>[] Join Schrewe at the gambling table.

>>
>>25497035

She has a scarlet cross emblazoned upon the left breast over the heart. Her hair is concealed by a helm, the only defining feature for her as a woman is her face and the way she sits. She has a shortsword at her side and a shield on the table with her. She looks to be about in her 20's and she's scanning the room while of course, drinking little.

(If you haven't read the updated description for Schwere, she has a scarlet cross upon her robe.)
>>
>>25497181
Could we ask Schwere to find in her memories informations regarding her old order? Or rather the old order of whoever sacrificed himself for her.
>>
>>25497225

That would denote sitting with her, and discussing it in a public place may draw unwanted attention.

That said, the woman may very well approach her at the sight of the mark.

Seems the consensus is to approach the strange man, yes?
>>
>>25497257
oh oh oh
Things will get interesting tonight.

At least the woman is probably not an exorcist.
>>
>>25497181
I say we check out the suspicious looking guy. from the way he's acting, he's expecting someone or something to come through that door.

question is, what?
>>
>>25497411
I say we spook him good
>>
>>25497458
heheheh. I'm sorry, I can't take the word 'spooky' or 'spook' seriously anymore.

I prefer let's scare him so much he'll wish he was wearing brown pants.
>>
>>25497458
That would be very akuma-like, wouldn't it?
>>
Tough call. On one hand, scaredy-man might be fun to inuire about. on the other hand, woman-with-cross is too intriguing for words
>>
>>25497526
We have minions, don't we?
>>
With a drink in hand, and floating between the various festivities within the bar, you keep an eye on the strange man that keep glancing about, with his eyes focused at the door. Everyone seems to ignore him, though Schwere seems to be keeping an eye upon him, as well as the armored woman.

Out of the three of you, you're the only one brazen enough to actually approach him.

As you draw close, his eyes lock onto yours for a moment, the woman shifts suddenly, and his eyes dart to the ground.

With a deep drink of the draft, you stand before the man at his corner of the table,"You seem awfully lonely stranger. We just came into town and we're already making merry with this drunken lot. What about you? Too poor? Or are you a man that prefers his throat to be dry?"

You shift position, letting yourself slouch a bit to appear drunk despite the drink doing little. It's at least fun to act like it.

The man stares up at you, before smiling and chuckling," Hey, hey... What's wrong with just watching others? I.. I just... I need a place to sleep... Yeah, a place to sleep."

This guy is definitely either wrong in the head or a half-retarded Akuma... You're almost willing to be the latter if it didn't reflect poorly on your own family and the work of the Earl.

"You should be going on home then if you need a place to sleep. If you were going to sleep here, you'd want some of this goood drink. What's the point otherwise, yeah?"
>>
The man fidgets, and you're getting irritated. He glances past you and at the door.

You shift to get in his way," You expecting someone or som'thin?"

You hear some whistles and hoots,” This lass is saucy! Lookit th' way she's mov'n 'er hips!”

"No, no. I just.. Look. Just leave me alone, alright? I need to be left alone. Just leave me alone. I.. I don't want to cause, I don't want to make a scene, just leave me. Just leave me alone..."

You assess the man carefully. His clothes are worn, frayed even. He seems quite poor. His hair is thin and his face is wrinkled, as though he's been worrying too much.

God, he just looks like a sorry sort of a sod.

“What in the blazes?! Kid, that's your fifth drink... Where y' putt'n it all?! Why aintchye pis'd out yet?”
Seems Kralle and Wendel are using their constitutions to their advantage...

>[] Set the man on fire. It's a start, right?
>[] Get in real close and ask him if he knows of a doctor, a real good one.

You take a sip of your drink and swirl it around, staring at the man even as he continues to fidget under your eyes.

“You don't seem like to smart a fella...” You take a deep drink and pull up a seat by the man as he glares at you for the mild insult.

“What do you know, you don't know me, don't sit next to me, do-” You slap the guy hard on the back in the middle of his ramblings. You note that he doesn't breath exactly right.

“Oi, what was all that for? You just going to go around slapping people's backs, what're you, some kind of-” You lean in close to the man and whisper into his ear.

“Your breathin doesn't seem right. You know of a doctor? A good one? Should check you out, fix you up. After all, they're magic right?” You lean back and take a sip of your drought. The man stares at you again, this time, his mouth shut.

“Hey, heyheyhey.” He whispers. “You're with the good doctor, right? Can you tell him his good boy fiddle's doin right? Yeah, yeah? Ivan sings far worse than he shoots... His voice is carrying on over the other men and it'd likely be grating the drunk folks' eardrums if they weren't so inebriated.

“Hey Ivan, I bet I can do that better!” You hear Madeleine shout over the men.

“Go ahead and try my Niece, go ahead and try! No one sings better than Ivan the Bear!” The man laughs on with the other drunks and you hear Madeleine start singing the Saucy song with the men... You hardly hear her past Ivan's deep voice, but she doesn't sound too bad...”

“Kid, that'sshhh... That'ssshh... That'shhh ten... I'm... I'm... I'm done... Take my damn tabshh... Jim! Ji-” You hear the chiildren laugh and a man throwing up under the table...

I only suggested it because this is applicable with the advancement of the character. Leaving behind old grudges and pursuing new joys even as an akuma could very well be good for the character.

Aside, you still have wrathful(Justice). If you witness a poor person commit a crime, which is exceedingly likely, your blood will boil.

The hatred just won't encompass your being like it did before... It's not to say that it won't still be there.
>>
We can still despise the poor, it just wouldn't be our main quirk anymore

You eyes the frantic man for a moment and then shrug, finishing off your drink and slam it onto the table.

"I'm done with you. You, sir are poor, and boring. You should re-evaluate your life, see a doctor or.. or something. Hell, am I drunk." You rise and swagger across the tavern to the woman of the night... In armor better fit for a man.

You pass the children's drinking table and they're laughing at the man with Kama who's finally taken a seat and partaken in her own drink,” Good job kids, You drank that drunk bastard under the table... You're a man now Wendel! And Kralle... You're a... You're a man now too!”
Wendel laughs at his sister, the girl's speechless and blushes heavily with embarassment.

The woman stares at you as you approach and sets her drink down. Now appraising you.

"Hello there my lady.. Some baker in town has shown me how to bake a baguette... Would you like MY tasty baguette?" Yes, you are so suave... you are so suave that her mouth is hanging slightly agape with a look of dawning disgust... Oh yeah... giggity.

"I have nothing to say to the likes of you. Begone from my sight, I have a job to perform." You shift so that your in the way of her stare.

"A job, huh? What matter of employ might you be in? Is it looking beautiful? Because you're already baked to perfection... You've sure given me a rise, and I wish my oven could get as hot as you...”

The woman stares at you incredulously,”What... are you?”
>>
You smile... yes, you are so suave,” I'm a baker, Jacob Firebrand, and you?”

The woman crosses her arms over her chestplate,”My name is Rosalin Thurgood of the Crimson Cross Covenant. I am here on duty to apprehend those that would prey upon the destitute. Why would do you persist in bothering me?”

“I believe I've already mentioned, I'm interested in you. Your covenant doesn't abhor such interaction, does it not?”
This puts a blush on the woman's face, though very slight,” No, it does not, however I do not wish to be distracted in my cause, nor do I need a peasant such as yourself assisting me. It would reflect poorly on my resolution.”

Being called a peasant, and your recent realizations of just how poor you, yourself are... After all... you know your funds... You know how you look. With a glance over yourself you think for a moment as you take a seat next to her, scrutinized under her sharp glare. It may be about time that you let some of your hatred go.. after all.. you, yourself are poor... your family is poor. None of you have status, and as previously stated you lack the funds that would denote the wealthy...

>Quirk refunded: Hatred of Poor(0) The fires of your hate are no longer quite as strong, though the embers are still warm.

You think about your family that's enjoying themselves right now.. and to your bread... You may not have the money that you'd like, but you have them. They are your family... and you think of your bread... your skill, your love... Your art... It is something that you love and would seek to rise up within the craft... Oh yes. It's still something you have. . .

>Quirks gained!
>Art: You appreciate the beauty of the world, though more than anything, the beauty of your own craft.
>Camaraderie: Your pack is your family. They are allies and brothers and sisters in this war. Having them with you soothes you.

You look to Rosalin and smile,” Rosalin, you ought not judge me as a poor peasant without even having tested the fruits of my craft. I am no peasant, I am a baker, a craftsman, and those are quite different from one another. . . Quite frankly, I would fancy myself an aspiring artist as my goods are also a feast for the eyes.
So now then, what are you doing here on duty? Does it have anything to do with that poor sleepless sod you've been staring at?”
>>
She glares at you and leans in,”Look here, I have my own business and you have yours. If you must know, I am awaiting certain suspicious persons that approach him, much like you, and I have seen you done. If you'd like to be arrested for obstruction of justice and taken in as a suspect to this man's confessed sins, be my guest. Otherwise, sod off and have a good night.” She leans back in her chair and continues on with her watch.

You stand up, arms raised,” Well well, that sure killed the mood. Have fun doing your duty Miss Rosalin. I wasn't joking about you being pretty though.”

“I said sod off!” She slams her cup to the table, and your pack all grow quiet, Ivan, Armbrust, Madeleine, and Kama disengaging from their activities to lend eye to the display.

“What's this 'ere about sodd'n off, miss? You looking to start trouble with this strapping lad 'ere?” Ivan calls out, with a bit of drunken slur.
“I'd do well to watch your own tongue ma'am. Those aren't words that a lady should be using.” Armbrust's voice is surprisingly gentle, yet stoic more than anything.

The eyes of the defiant people draw a certain scowl out of the woman as she stands,”Any that seek to raise hand upon me will be named an enemy of the church and hung for treason against the lord, God.”
She draws her sword and takes up her shield calmly, both of which glow with obvious magical power.

Schwere stands from her gambling table, with a glance, you see that she's obviously losing based on the number of coins NOT on her side of the table. “My good sister, I am Blaire Orchard of your order. I am sure that my friend meant no harm.”
>>
The woman's eyes narrow on Schwere,” I do not recognize you.” She moves from her table and past the men,”Stand aside.” They part at her word.

She stands before Schwere and stares at her intently,”If you are who you say, why have you not reported in to the church? You wear the robes of a scholar at that, you should know exactly how closely you must be watched. You seem more like an apostate posing as a member... After all, why would you be with this riffraff? ” The rest of the family tenses up as the blade is put to Schwere's neck. The stoic woman hardly budging at that.

Schwere is silent for a moment... She doesn't seem to have anything to say right off hand...

This situation is getting worse...

>[] Wait, let Schwere think of something... if not...
>[] Start a fire while all eyes are on Schwere.
>[] Make up a lie...
>[] Attack the woman.

>>
>>25499773
[X] Start a fire while all eyes are on Schwere.

Really now we just got the Camaraderie quirk and she goes and threatens one of our family.
Oh well, time for Bar Fire verse two: the reckoning.
>>
bite her head off while she is occupied with Schwere. Everyone here has to die.

let's give Schwere a moment to think of something. if the woman makes a move, kill everyone in the bar. leave no witnesses.
>>
>>25499849
Not quite yet. We need to find out who this person that she was waiting for was. We may have a scapegoat to use.

Bitching, now imagine Three of them if were are still going for the king gidorah look.

We can always say that she is traveling with us because her previous group of templar got massacred by akumas. She tagged along with us for protection until we reach a church.
>>
>>25499926
by all means, anon.
>>
>>25499969
But then she would try and take her to the church.
>>
>>25499969
>She was travelling with us since Themes was destroyed, this is the first night we've been in town.
>>
>>25499773
[X] Make up a lie...

"Riffraff are we? That's rather rude isn't it.

At the very least we do not stir trouble wherever we go nor are we as noticeable as you are Rosalin. We haven't even lost our temper.

Some might even say that we'd be better at your task than you are as we have not decided to draw steel on those who just happen to be nearby. Kids these days, no self control."
>>
>>25499926
I didnt mean you had to draw them, I just meant like generally imagine them
>>
>>25499994
Look like that knight got other duties to attend to right now. We will take her to her church soon enough, no need to worry.
>>
>>25500023
Drawfags gonna draw, can always use more practice and it makes it easier to visualize.
>>
Back, let's see here...
>>
>>25500024
I've got an idea. We kill everyone in the bar and blame it on the person she was waiting for.
>>
>>25499821

>>
>>25500125

Say we're helping her along with her travels because of the accident at Themes.

Let the Slafter begin
>>
I'm seeing some conflict between killing them all and making up a lie/starting a fire...

though starting a fire seems to be the most common theme...

Here's a possible idea..

Give Schwere the time she needs to think of some sort of excuse....

Set the strange man on fire... Blame it on the person he's waiting for...

Then proceed to save or kill everyone in the bar as it catches... of course, depending on your mood...

>>25500152
It's worth noting that word of Temes in all likelyhood may not have reached Ruinebriar yet, with the family being the first to make it since that disaster...

And the family's slaughtering people beyond the bend of the road...
>>
>>25500125
Sri Lanka Air Force Team?
>>
>>25500178
I'd prefer to start with a lie. try to get her off of our case, and if that fails fire.

I'm interested as to who she's waiting for here.
>>
>>25500178
That's right, ye olden days...

CHANGING>>25499996
You haven't heard? Temes was burned to the ground! We only just arrived in town today, has nobody else made it?
>>
>>25500178

I'd also like to say that there may be glaring issues with my suggested course of action... After all, I can't give the the most optimal route <3
>>
>>25500178
I'm game for killing the lady and burning the bar.
>>
>>25500206
Lets be careful to not mention exorcists in our story to not arouse suspicions.
>>
>>25500178
I'm thinking we give sechwere a moment, if that fails, discretely set a fire, when people notice it and start paying attention to that, start a fight over who started the fire. then do the old throw-stuff-to-block-the-exits routine, and when they're covered, commence the slaughter.
>>
of course, the possible course of events would be like to change if you omitted the slaughter and starting the fire...

I'll need a proper consensus here... Let's get the action straight..
>>
>>25500178
At least the evidence of our family's killings are gone, right?

Say that the majority went to London, but that we decided to come here first to the merchant town to stock up on goods and supplies. And that we were the only group of travelers willing to take Schwere along with us.
>>
>>25500255
I'm itching for some bloodshed here, I vote murder everyone
>>
>>25500255
How about we start the fire to distract the lady and have Schwere lure her outside. Then we kill her.
>>
Alright hows this for a mix of everyone's ideas?

>Give shwere a chance to talk, while this happens seek out a fire source
>If she fails, "We just got here, temes died blahblah" bit
>If that fails, tip the lantern, blame someone else
>>
>>25500255
Lets say:
1-Try to talk our way out
2-Fire
3-Slaughter

>>25500282
Well this
>>
>>25500178
lets not set the guy on fire he has a job from the doctor

lets lie to her and gtfo

because making a ruckus would stop/hamper out prison break
>>
>>25500282
>>25500255
yeah, this pretty much seems good to me.
>>
>>25500282
That seems like it would required Rosalin to be patient. Something which has shown to not be her strong suit.
>>
>>25500304
Or we could try to pull off the prison break tonight
>>
>>25500321
Well of course that's a given. No one who enjoys our special bread shall suffer unduly.
>>
There's no need to be impatient about killing, guys.

That's the fallback plan.

The main plan is to maintain stealth and to remain incognito for as long as possible.
>>
>>25500321
I'd rather not do that tonight. Staking out the Exorcists seems like a good idea instead of striking immediately and without preparation.

People, wanton slaughter is a lovely thing, but this isn't the time for it. We stay incognito, we look normal, and then once we set stuff up we go murderous.
>>
>>25500321
We already decided by consensus to delay things for a few days.

Killing everything around us is the panic button. We don't press the panic button unless we've lost all control of the situation.
>>
>>25500380
Shit you're right. We still haven't even mastered the baguette recipe.
>>
>>25500282

Going with this. No slaughter.

>>25500397
This actually made me laugh... that may be a good rule to abide by...
>>
>>25500380
yeah. I agree with this.

>>25500397
also this.
>>
>>25500415
we aim to please Good Doctor
>>
>>25500415
Out of context, I can totally see why it'd make you laugh.
>>
>>25500321
Hmmm
Nah

But now that you mention miss la fay, we should have Ivan and his drunken buddies stumble out of the bar, drinks in hand to go toss at her. A few cups would be enough to wash off the blood and filth from her forehead so we can get a look.
>>
>>25500491
That's even better! And did we ever figure out when she is planned to be killed?
>>
>>25500513
No. We did not gather much information, aside from the fact that she is an Apostate and that she's being held at the stocks until the High Priest arrives to judge her.
>>
>>25500491
Tossing cups at someone who could be a Noah is more than frown worthy.
>>
>>25500513
this is very good. VERY good. make sure they ask the guard to hold her face up so they can get a clear shot (and view)
>>
>>25500525
Should we warn our family not to murder anyone important looking on the road then?
>>
>>25500528
I believe only the contents of the cups are going to be tossed.
>>
>>25500528
She probably wants a good wash anyway, wouldn't you?
>>
>>25500558
Yeah that's what I meant.
>>
>>25500552
Hopefully Ivan knew when to hold everyone back from killing, but just in case, let's make this a rule once we get back to camp.
>>
I'm somewhat surprised no one's a bit more... Paranoid about the High Priest...
>>
>>25500491
If we can manage to get out of this situation with the lady, let's definitely do this. Rile up some of the drunkards and get them to "share" some of their wine with the witch.

If it turns out that she's a Noah, apologize to her then mentally make a note to kill everyone from the bar for her once we leave town.
>>
>>25500619
A General, maybe?

Seems like it'd be a position a General would be in.

And if it turns out the Witch is a Noah, we'll definitely want to get her out before the guy comes along.
>>
>>25500619
oh i am, but there's nothing immediate we can do about him is there
>>
>>25500627
We should aim for water, if we're willing to go that extra mile for courtesy points
>>
>>25500661
Not like anyone would notice this late at night.
>>
>>25500619
It's like being paranoid about hurricanes, only thing we can do about them is keep an eye on their movements, listen to rumors, and skip town like a motherfucker if they show up nearby.
>>
>>25500677
But would you rather be splashed in the face with water or wine?
>>
Once the baguette has been mastered we can free the lady and begin the murders.
>>
If Schwere doesn't manage to make up an excuse for herself in a non-awkward amount of time, we can explain away the silence as her just being stunned at having a blade on her throat.

In case the woman gets suspicious.
>>
>>25500619
I'm paranoid we'll kill everyone before he gets here and won't hear the agonizing shrieks of the townspeople as they burn or see the charred remains of his beloved church. I'm paranoid we won't cause him enough grief and guilt to take a good hard look at his life and realize that it would be better to just let the good doctor into his heart.

>>25500805
Make the wings a cape that unfolds into multiple wings.

And we're also planning to have mouths open up wherever we want on our body, right? We may want to look more organic.

Also, I think Duke already has his own ideas for what level 3 looks like, so it may not necessarily be humanoid/a knight.

level 3s aren't that big. good things come in small kickass packages.
>>
>>25500868
Why? Level 3 are typically pretty small.
>>
>>25500868
lvl 3 tends to be smaller, I know we aren't following akuma development exactly but
>>
>>25500890
Blah. Forgot it was winter. And this is the 1400's, right? Can't really think of any warm drinks that would help wash off the muck on the witch's face.
>>
>>25500890
This raises another question. If its winter and shes stay outside still and without protection from the cold, shouldn't her face get frostbitten?
>>
>>25500805
How about a dragon body with parts that can turn around completely, and a tali with chainsaws at the end. The wings can wrap around the body to hide what position the limbs are currently at.
>>
>>25500863

I did plan for it to maintain a more humanoid appearance.

>>25500805
That is actually a wonderful design, though the idea for a cape that unfolds into wings may also be rather charming...

Let me say, if you complete a level 3 design for Faefnir before hitting level 3, we'll go exclusively by that. I trust your fantastic art. <3

You know, I've been wondering how big exactly wer are in our current state. Huge? Small? I figure our head could hold an entire person's torso easy now. Also that humanoid version I figured to be about 12 feet tall. Y'know, huge and really damn fast.
>>
>>25500816
We're breaking her out regardless, there's no need to freeze her face. We can check her after she's loose and the town is burning (not that I'm advocating doing so, but let's be realistic).
>>
>>25500930

Her face is indeed rather frostbitten. She is quite weary.
>>
>>25500968
well noahs heal so we just need to take her to a Doctor....
>>
>>25500968
How cold is it outside? between 0c and -10c?

She should be pretty much dead right about now. After spending says in that weather she should have lost her nose and ears at least.

If she isn't horribly disfigured she's more than human.
>>
You move carefully to the wall of the tavern while all attention is focused on Rosalin and Schwere. The mage seems to notice you, though her eyes don't inherently give you away. The knightly woman's attention remains upon the mage, as you carefully draw near a lantern.
“What have you to say for yourself?” She presses the blade more firmly against Schwere's neck, even as she backs away.
“I do not deserve such treatment..” She finally says,” I have only just arrived this night from Temes, which has gone up in flames in a hunt for demons. I travel with them as most others took route to London, Florin, and other villages for refuge with their homes burned. These people have been good to me.” She motions to the rest of the family that have stood up for her.
“I desired to spend this evening with them before returning to my duties.”
Rosalin is silent for a moment...
She finally lowers her blade,”It is ill to hear of Temes... we had good people there. Very well. Spend this night of yours with these riffraff. Report to the church by morning.”
She sheathes her blade and everyone relaxes a bit. She turns to the crowd,” I am sorry if I have interrupted this night of merriment. Your drink must taste poorly now. I will excuse myself.”

The woman leaves, though you get the feeling that you won't be seeing the last of her.

Everyone slowly gets back to their merriment. Schwere folds a her table, resigning a good deal of your personal money, and she walks over to you briskly, eying the other patrons warily before pulling you close,”I'll need to speak with them by morning or I will be taken in by force. She knows that I'm with you, so it would only do us any good if we all left. Even then, they'd put us all on bounty. I'll report to you when I get a chance...” She looks away, actually appearing a bit said,” I hope that this is not the last night I'll spend with everyone.”

days***
>>
You put a hand on her shoulder,” It will be fine. You just need to cooperate with them for a few days. If need be, we can break you out with the witch in the stocks. We'll need to skip town afterward anyway, you know?”

Schwere looks conflicted, but smiles anyway, a bit uncharacteristic for her,” Yes, I... I... Trust... that my... family will... come for me...” She seems to have trouble with the words as t hey leave her mouth... As though they shouldn't come naturally.

An idea sparks, now that you think of the possible Noah... “Schwere, resume your festivities, it'll be well, do not worry.” The demon nods and returns to her table, throwing down a charm to bet for the next hand... You may have to help her with her gambling...

Since we're on the subject of upgrades, I've thought up a few that we could implement in the future:

After enough levels of durability and heat magic
- Mirage scales
Storing huge amounts of heat in our scales, we can refract light off our form and gain an aura of blur around our form vastly decreasing chances to strike at us.
After maxing out RPM and replacement chains
- gyroscopic chainsaw maw
See pic attached. Imagine circular rows of our chainsaw teeth rotating madly in alternating clockwise and counter-clockwise motions all while orbiting a hateful ball of flames.
>>
>>25501474
Killing her right now would be a bad idea. People would suspect us after the events at the bar.

>>25501557
This is a point here. we've stirred up a bit of trouble, and now there's at least two people who suspect us. we'd probably best not go full murder.

I think we should accompany Ivan and the family back to camp, and then return here ourself and see if we can catch the weird guy making his rendezvous.
>>
>>25501600

Currently writing for taking the man to camp and seeking the death of Rosalin. As I said before, if she doesn't die, Schwere will need to report to the church by morning.
>>
>>25501623
ah, well if you're already writing, let's keep that then.
>>
>>25501623
eh, I suppose that works. hell, if anything, it'll make that one guy look suspicious.

of course, after this, we should probably have Schwere lay low for a while.
>>
You saunter over to Ivan's crowd of drunken fellows and lean over by him as the bar settles down with the drunk men running on about the self-righteous bitch and what-not. With a lean over by the man, you already know he's listening in. “You and Armbrust, outside. We need to take care of the woman.”

Ivan nods and takes up his mug as you head over to Madeleine, her attention instantly snapping towards you,” Keep these men merry, put them on a show of some sort so that they don't bother to rush outside.

You give a smile to Kama and the kids. She gives a rather kind smile in return, one that makes it hard to believe that she's a demon much like yourself... she's changed from Temes... You lean down to hug her, much to the sudden spite of Madeleine,” Tell the man I spoke with earlier to come to our camp. Do not kill him until I give the word.

As you leave, Ivan and Armbrust soon join you down the street, very few people wandering home this early in the night, and that's good.
You glance at the town square and see a distinct lack of silver armor there... if those two are guarding her perpetually, that would also mean that she is no longer there... You see the emblazoned armor of Rosalin's back, heading down the street... After some time of shadowing her, she halts, and turns around.

“I had you figured for demons, I only need know which...” She draws her sword. Both it, and her shield appear to have obvious magical properties.
“Show your true forms, demons, this night, it will be your last.”

At the lead, you feel Ivan's and Armbrust's eyes burn into the back of your head as they expect you to give them command...

Jet winged humanoid, with a chainsaw-jawed Halberd/spear since our mouth wouldn't be as useful in a humanoid body. I also figure we could use the "Wing cape" with this one too, just have the membranes dissipate while using our jets.

Also I can't see any way to fit the oven on a humanoid body. Could we maybe either make one appear magically out of ash, or have our torso expand when we want to access it?
>>
>>25501680
flank this bitch, she's not an exorcist and she's pretty obviously short-range. also flamecloak ourselves unless it'll start other fires, we want to be uncomfortable to be near.

[X] Play the drunken fool.
[X] Spread out and flank.

Draw her attention, stumble a bit, give Ivan a chance to peel off, camouflage and get into a sniping position so he can get a bolt straight through her knee to cripple her and make her an easy target. Armbrust also moves to the side so if she goes after us, which is likely, he'll get some arrows in her back.

"Got no idea what you're talking about sweetheart, ain't no demon, no need to pull out that pigsticker. Just couldn't stand to see you leave without us, though it's a pleasure to watch you walk away if you know what I mean.

How does a pretty lady like you get into a dirty business like this?"
>>
Also, i'm in agreeance with the mantle design.

I'm not quite sure about how exactly the body swiveling would rightly come into play.

Though indeed, being of shorter stature and rather sleek do well for the focus on agility that Faefnir has.

>>25501692
Brilliant.
I plan... For lv 3 to forgo an actual Oven and instead use its hands and eat to create things on the spot. So an Oven is not necessary. Then again, it requires it to be heavily upgraded.

The Halberd is actually a really nice touch! Though in this case it depends on the mouth everywhere thing or spontaneous chainsaw generation. upon the body.

All three ideas are cool however! <3
>>
>>25501786
>It depends on the mouth everywhere thing or spontaneous chainsaw generation. upon the body.

Why not both? Make jaws for fire breathing and chainsaw blades for melee attacking, just make the saws a partially grown mouth or something.
>>
>>25501786
prefer mantle as well, but maybe a t lvl 3 our dark matter will evolve enough we can either have a smaller, stronger oven or simply have our hands to it themselves
>>
>>25501824
Well like I said, the wings would form a mantle but have the membranes burn off when in use to make the cloak.
>>
>>25501736
Seconding this.
>>
You raise your arms disarmingly, and stumble a bit drunkenly with your head low and mouth out of sight, you whisper to your two comrades,”Spread out, slow.”

“What was that, demon?!” She raises her shield and steps firmly into the ground, ready to lunge despite the distance.
“Hey now, hey hey. I was just telling these two here what a shame it was that you're alone.. Got no idea what you're talking about sweetheart, ain't no demon, no need to pull out that pigsticker. Just couldn't stand to see you leave without us, though it's a pleasure to watch you walk away if you know what I mean. “ This proves to make more fury show upon her face, she is obviously quite done with this game of yours.
“How does a pretty lady like you get into a dirty business like this?

“I will hear no more lies and subversion demon, get those two back at front if you'd like to live...” She speaks with command, she shows no fear... Perhaps her overconfidence will be her... Well.. you do have fire...

“Look. Can we at least take this outside of town? We can get to know each other better and, maybe even share a proper cup of wine, what do you say?”

“People will see you for what you are.”

“If I was a demon, would you want them getting hurt?”

The woman says nothing, yet she does not falter.

Have armbrust provide ranged support while we lite her out with Ivan waiting for a good opening. Keep in mind that opponent is a mage and may pull some sort of spell or another. We absolutely cannot allow her to contact guard or church now as that would blow Schwere's cover.

“Well, you have me at a disadvantage, my dear, only an Angel would seek to woo a demon.” You smile, smarmy as all get out and the woman flusters, focusing the full intent of her wrathful gaze upon you.
“You dare compare yourself to a holy being...”
“Well, it's either I'm the angel, or you are... and you're the one with a sword drawn... Upon unarmed men, no less.” You take a cautious step back.
“Look, I've humored you well enough now lady, I need to get going back home. I've had enough of your itch for blood.” You throw your arms down. And suddenly an extra cold shadow passes over the road... An extra cold breath from the lady as she shudders,” What in the name of...” Her eyes go wide.
“That's my queue to leave, see ya!” You turn tail and begin to run, heading for out of town. Armbrust following with you. You notice that Ivan is nowhere to be seen, as it should be.
A bolt flies out from seemingly nowhere and the woman trips, slowing her advance even as she glances to find the source, seeing nothing.

She's hot on the heels of you and Armbrust as you make your way to the outskirts of Ruinebriar, passing guards at the bridge to the town that hangs over the river. The two go down to nearly simultaneous bolts.

You finally turn to face the woman, now without any other witnesses to get in the way,” You were awfully easy, you always chase men down on their first date?”

She lunges at you and you flick a finger,” Kneel.” A bolt goes through the back of her leg, destroying her knee even as she winces back blooming tears and the need to scream. She stares up at you defiantly.
“You monster.”
Armbrust moves forward to take care of her, yet you hold an arm for him to stay back, keeping a commanding hand raised, for Ivan's observation.
“Indeed, I am a monster. However, you know who the bigger monster is? You. You'd rip apart a perfectly happy family, calling all but one of them, “Riffraff.” You have any idea how hurtful that is?”
>>
The woman stabs her shield into the ground, forcing herself to stand,”You... have killed.”
You laugh at her, you laugh in your face, rather, as close as you'd get to her disgusting human flesh,” I have killed. It's just in my nature. Your order would condemn an innocent to death based on the demands of some hateful God. You call me a monster? Look at the exorcists! They are-” The woman bends her arm back to throw her sword at you.
Another flick of your hand and that sword arm's joint is gone too. It's at this, she screams. God be damned, Ivan is a good shot.
“Disgusting. They are absolutely disgusting... You know the two that I killed set fire to Temes just to root out a couple of us?”
“They would never do such a thing...You... you demons would attack them... it is your nature.”
You shake your head at that,” No, it's our nature to kill. And me? I've actually gotten quite good at it.

The woman glares up at you, even as the only thing keeping her up is your shield and one good leg.

“En Ba” The mutters, almost in defeat, yet a glance and you see that she's doing something with her fingers, say, what's she doing?

You see a series of Talismans with crosses etched into them circle around you, latching on suddenly. Armbrust manages to shoot some down with a rapid-fire of bolts, yet most of them are already upon you..

The woman smiles as her strength begins to leave her.

“See you in hell...”

You suddenly get a very, very terrible feeling...

You suddenly get a very, very terrible feeling...

You react quickly, using your very natural agility to advance upon the woman with what's almost a single step, the talismans following you, even now. You snort and set yourself aflame with your cloak of fire, burning off some of the papers, even as the woman's eyes go up in horror,” Say. Where do Akuma go when they die?”

Before she answers, you grab her by the face,"May the Good Doctor forgive your sins against him, for I will not" and throw her at the rest of the talismans, walking away with armbrust and not looking back.

An explosion of flame follows, the resulting airflow blowing past you even as you turn off the cloak of flame.
She should have used that earlier... much earlier... It was to your fortune that she must have still had some doubt back in the streets.

You glance back and see that her body has all but been reduced to ash, and already being blown away by the winds. Indeed, her pitiful gambit failed... Certainly serves her right. The only thing that remains is her armor, sword, and shield. You quickly command Armbrust to take up those things, and thank him for his help.
You return to the others, especially after this... loaded night.

At the camp, much to your dismay, you find much of it rooted threw, the cart overturned, what goods you had, now gone and the rest of it burned...

It seems that while away, someone decided that it was prudent to outright rob and pillage your things...

You sigh.
Schwere is upset by her missing book, Ivan and Armbrust miss the actual crossbow, Kama misses her bed, the children miss the “toys” (weapons), and Madeleine seems to be quite upset that her church robes are gone...

I'm not against it in general, i just think that it would be better to go with weapons since we're about to go hunting our own kind, and we don't know how though they're going to be. but I'll roll with the majority, so w/e.
>>
>>25503191
after this im all for uping weapons/magic
>>
>>25503191
Our weapon is plenty strong already (it's been maxed out). Good enough to rip through Innocence. Improving the teeth will just make us more lethal, but as it is right now, we're good.
>>
>>25503200
Yes, this. Pressure Cannons first, then maybe Smoke Magic?
>>
>>25503191
We'll have plenty experience points once we start killing in earnest.

Discovered by story.

Upgrading creation oven increases its overall capabilities and enhances effects.

Enhanced capabilities will include forging, golem-making, aside from food-stuffs.

Speaking of creation oven, I've had this idea in my head ever since we threw bread at Morgan:

Can we use our black bread... As ammunition? Cook it longer than needed, till its hard and burnt then shove it in our mouth and vomit it our amidst poison-oil and flames?

Would someone mind archiving this? noticed we're on page 8.

Likely won't start a second thread either as it's getting late. This night's curtain will soon close Gentlemen!
>>
>>25503299
2, although it seems my vote is irrelevant.
>>
>>25503310
Trash!

Why not bake something NATURALLY hard instead? Like. Croissants.

>>25503349
Sure, Duke. This seems like the longest a thread has gone on, huh?
>>
>>25503393

Criossants are soft. Baguettes are hard.

I think we've had longer before... Though I could be mistaken <3

This is just right for me, I don't feel right moving onto a second thread when so little time is left after all... So crass...
>>
>>25503393
actually I think the second was longer, but yeah. this is getting pretty late.
>>
>>25503393
Croissants? hard?

boy, what croissants have you been eating?
>>
>>25503393
Crumpets, fuckers are hard as rocks
>>
What of Dutched bread rolls?
>>
>>25503410
They...they look hard to me.

ANYWAY. We can research new recipes at a later date. For now, we stew in anger as we await our vengeance next thread.

>>25503408
>>25503408
So hey, I just want to know if I got it right; Schwere was an apprentice who called back for the soul of her master, right?
>>
>>25503435

Yes.

It's why she's actually really good at gravity magic.
>>
>>25503435
most likely. I don't believe we know for sure.
>>
>>25503435
not so, my boy. Croissants are delicately soft, smooth, and delicious...

god damnit, my Croissant-lust is showing.
>>
>>25503425
If we want hard bread, why not simply make Hardtack?
>>
>>25503449
How much of what the master knew does Schwere even know?
>>
>>25503457
That's more like a cracker that forgot to be small..
>>
>>25503473
its still bread and baked in an oven, it just sucks immensely
>>
>>25503468

That's something that you could actually ask her.

So I won't be saying.
>>
>>25503481
Really it's just a waste of good dough considering what we can make.
>>
>>25503497
of course, that is not our art.

You feel a calm come over you... and then something change within your body. The others all stare at you once more, wary of the change to your inherent chemistry...

>Leadership(2) This reflects in your ability to lead and command other Akuma, bending their will to your own cause. (2) Lv 1.5 Akuma and lower will listen to you and follow orders to the best of their ability. So long as it doesn't cause them direct harm. (Next Level 800exp)

This insult calls for vengeance, blood... You have been wronged and someone needs to pay for it... not just you either... they have wronged your family... This was the closest thing that they had to a home and now it's gone, essentially ruined.

“Ivan!” You shout out, to your most dependable friend, and comrade. He's at your side in a moment.

“Yes... What is it?” He speaks sadly after regarding the destruction... yet it's the sorrow that calls for satisfaction.

“Can you track them? The ones that did this?”

“Of course, Comrade. And when we find them, we'll rip them limb from limb, fill them with holes, and otherwise decimate them, yes?” His voice is calm and cold.

“Yes, that's exactly what we'll be doing, and more if possible...”

The demon-man gets down ti examine the tracks... there will be a hunt this night... let's just hope it won't carry on into the morning...

>Thread End
>Next Time will be Wednesday at 20:00 as per usual! See you gentlemen then!

>I'll be sticking around for other general questions, comments, concerns, and suggestions for some time or the thread dies!

Cool. Guess the next time we go on a road trip, we can go ahead and share what we remember of ourselves.

The Crimson Cross....new organization you came up with, or is it based on a historical organization? Like....the Crusaders?

>>25503536
they done fucked up messing with our family

>>25503536
So, just what is it that decides our next recipe's ability anyway? Do you take our discussions about possible uses for our Creation Oven and integrate them into the story?

You're saying that as if it's such a sure thing...

Let me tell you.. if Faefnir had attacked full frontal or even failed to lure her into proper position, even with a crit, she would have at least killed Armbrust. The crit prevented her from killing him, and from her noticing Ivan's location after that first bolt, which would have resulted in a raised shield.

>>25503572

Something like that.

I actually based them slightly off of Dragon Age's Templars for Mage control, along with the manga's CROW organization that has agents that use talisman and spell.

I figured with magic in this alternate Universe, it needs to be regulated, especially with Akuma that pretty much get a free ticket access to it.

That's why mages must be affiliated with the church or else they are deemed an apostate.
>>
>>25503623
>next time

You may have misquoted there?
>>
>>25503616

Of course I do. I only plan out the skeleton for this quest. If there's a relevant trick you'd like a foodstuff recipe to do, just let me know. if it fits or if it sparks an idea in my heart, It'll be known.

As of right now, Black Bread increases Akuma/Noah stat of strength on consumption. and inflicts despair in Humans.

I have ideas for Devil's Food. Ebony Biscuit, Black Forest Cake. And the like, yet no specific abilities to adhere to them.

>>25503644
Just saying that you very well could die before the next road-trip.
>>
Looking over this thread, it seems like our pack is shaping up to be the Medieval version of the Charles Manson Family....

I have no real idea about what the Manson Family did aside from the fact that they traveled around killing people. As a family.
>>
>>25503663
Ah, I see what you mean now. Dying is definitely a danger.

And what with our new camaraderie quirk now, it's going to be hard to abandon our group to save ourselves (if it ever came to that).
>>
Manson believed in what he called "Helter Skelter," a term he took from the song of the same name by The Beatles. Manson believed Helter Skelter to be an impending apocalyptic race war, which he described in his own version of the lyrics to the Beatles' song. He believed his murders would help precipitate that war. From the beginning of his notoriety, a pop culture arose around him in which he ultimately became an emblem of insanity, violence and the macabre." That is surprisingly parallel...
>>
>>25503738
Yeah. We're definitely the Manson Family of the 15th century.

Though, I guess we'd be the....Thatcher Familly? Firebrand? Eh. Akuma works just fine.

We definitely need a new name for our grouping. Pack doesn't really fit anymore now that everyone's beginning to drift away from their wolf shapes...something to consider for next thread, I suppose.

Anyway, sweet dreams Duke. See you next time.

Ah, as an aside... Much of that mess wouldn't have been stirred, had you all left the crazy man in the bar alone... along with the woman...

Hmm... Fancy that...

Curiosity could've killed the cat.
>>
>>25503842
I just wanted to gamble with Schwere and participate in a karaoke with Ivan! And maybe watch Madeleine dance.

But I suppose we just can't avoid these plot points.
