"It could have gone a little better. I went to one of Isabella's parties on Thursday evening. Think I may have annoyed her a little."

Jill seems both shocked and a little pleased. "You annoyed Isabella? How? I mean, not that she doesn't deserve it, but still... wow. Was that because she was mean to me on Wednesday? You really didn't have to go that far. But thank you, anyway." She smiles warmly at you.

"By the way, um... what do you mean, Avril explained other things?"

Jill blushes. "About... you know. Stuff. Down there. A more... biological explanation of how this whole blood thing works. My mother didn't really say more than 'it's a curse, let's pray'. She told me a few ways of making sure the blood didn't stain everything, and watching out for it happening again. I hope I don't really have to go through that *every* month, though. It's really quite scary."

German passes by in a bit of a blur. You're starting to feel distinctly hungry as lunchtime approaches, and not just for pizza.

[]Eat with Jill and talk some more about the upcoming party.
[]Find Masami and talk to her when you won't both be busy with class.

[]Find Isabella. You want to know what she was smiling about earlier.

[X]Eat on your own. You have enough on your plate already.

Either this, or look for Jason and interrogate him.

[x] Go looking for Avril
Admit to have fucked up. Ask her if we can reduce the power we have on her, because her kneeling in front of us when we get rid of thugs isn't right.
>>
>>25959754
This leaves the issue with Avril to be dealt during the party. Weird.
>>
>>25959737
This. We're out of the moment now so we should go to her, give a sincere apology then maybe leave her (logisitcally but not romantically, we can leave the latter to her desision)
>>

we might as well see how far the rabbit hole goes at this point.

jump right in.

Look for Isabella so that we can casually ask very forward questions without fear.

It might take her aback so much, she fears

((Okay, that should be long enough for everyone to have gotten into the new thread. Also, since we're taking up two threads tonight, we'll run late to make sure we get some good use out of this one instead of cutting off after a few story posts.

I'll be devoting myself to salvaging this clusterfuck.

You finish your lunch quickly and then take a walk around looking for Avril. It doesn't take you long to find her, sitting outside on the grass, in the shade of a tree again. She's fiddling with something in her hands. A daisy.

You stop a few yards away, giving her some space. Her voice seems to carry to you just fine, despite the distance and the fact that she's still looking down at the flower. "Hi, Chris. That's probably close enough for now."

"Okay. Can we... talk? If there's anything to talk about."

"Well, I don't know, Chris. Is there? Like you said, this is what you are now. A big bundle of hunger in a human skin. A skin I'm bound to. Is this going to happen every time you 'lose control'? Is that what life is going to be like, for however long we're together?" She looks down at the daisy, and carefully plucks a single petal from it. "I'm not sure I could take that again. Do you have any way to change things, Chris?"

Do you have anything else you want to say to her?
>>
>>25960631
I lost control and did something horrible. I will hate myself forever for what I have done to you. I can only promise you that I will never let my hunger take me over like that again. I give you my word.
>>
>>25960631
I don't want that to happen again. I can't lose control like that again, but there's only one way I can think of making sure I won't hurt you again.

Its a good thing Avril doesnt browse 4chan.

besides, its just presenting a promise to her. A promise that we will do whatever we can to never harm her like that again. Thats perfectly reasonable.

Its not like going berserk didnt tottally save our ass. Id like to be able to do it again in an emergency, without having to break a Fae promise and suffer.
>>
>>25960798
She already told us that she can't enforce oaths by stopping behavior, only by punishing breaches. Promising not to do something that might not always be controllable just means sometimes we'll fuck ourselves over for no reason.

Avril nods, and you can see her smile a little sadly. "Oh, I could. I could even incorporate it into my own pledge, make it forfeit if you broke your word. But all I could really do is punish you afterwards, the next time you... did that to me. I don't think there's any such thing as an unbreakable promise. And even once more would... would be too much." The daisy quivers, very slightly, in her hand. "I'm sorry, Chris. I won't break my pledge to you. But if you don't mind, I'd like you not to come talk to me again. Please."

That... seems to be that.

find Isabella. I think its time we tried to seduce this woman before things get out of hand. We need to minimise her as a threat or take her as an ally

before the darker forces or Fae lords come for our head
>>
>>25961447
Bit of a difference between 'we might end up having to kill Isabella in whatever situation' and 'let's actively plan to rape Isabella', isn't there? Do you really see those as complete moral equivalents?

>>
>>25961730
Uh, one person said that, after apparently misreading it as actively planning rape.
>>
Kinda late, but please consider freeing Avril on the basis of not being capable of treating her how she should be treated.

We might lose grasp of her as a possession, but that's not what we should want, anyway. Having her as a friend, a partner and an ally is the best thing we could want. Unbinding her should help fixing the relationship.
>>
>>25961341
"I don't think that will be possible. I like you way too much to do that and Isabella is plotting something with the guy who kidnapped you.
They have someone else helping them and I thought we could use some help too. Do you think I could meet your family? After all this mess is over and I'm sure you are safe, I will not talk to you until you want to talk to me again."
>>
>>25961969
She hasn't asked to be freed, but if it comes up, yeah.

This game is supposed to involve sexuality, so we could see about setting Avril up with someone else, and if they're not interested in her, we could do something with them ourselves. There was a nice Asian lad in our one class, wasn't there?
>>
>>25961642
You find a table and try to find something to read. It's a little hard to focus on the pages. Especially because you're still really hungry. You keep your head down and try to concentrate, though. The book is on Escher and fractals, like the one Jill was reading last Sunday. Maybe you can talk to her about fractals at the party or something.

You're about twenty minutes and fifty pages into the book, still skimming it fairly listlessly, when there's a small thud on the other side of the table. You look up to see Avril has sat down on the other side of the table. She's got a large, hard-bound book and a small notepad in front of her.

She holds up a hand as you start to open your mouth, and scribbles something down on her pad. She passes it over. It says 'Please don't say anything yet. I don't think I can deal with talking right now. I might have something that can make things safe for me.'

She shows you the tome. It talks about how some ancient druids, wanting to be sure their tribes and villages would be safe if they were incapacitated or died, would voluntarily bind pieces of their soul to powerful spirits. The spirit would take a portion of their powers from them, and hold them in trust for the druid's successor. It was rarely practiced, because it both required a highly trusted spirit, and weakened the druid by the portion of their powers they gave up. It also meant that the spirit had a great deal of influence or control over the rest of their soul.

((Cont))
>>
>>25962163
Avril scribbles a bit more on her notepad.

‘Weakens you. The bond is stronger the more power you give up. Would be painful. Would be dangerous. But unbreakable. Not without recovering the piece of your soul.

I’m not strong enough to hold a piece of someone else’s power. But my father is.

Tomorrow night. In the woods, at the oldest tree. If you’re serious about change.’

She gets up, leaving the notepad and the book with you, and walks away.

Lunch will be ending soon. You have Geography with Jill and Masami. Considering the beating you gave Jason, it's unlikely he'll be in school today.

What do you want to do?
>>
>>25962199
>become a soul-slave to powerful fairy creatures we dont understand the motives of.

>deliberately give up power while hungry

>>25962237
We are still young and weak. If we don't do that we'll probably be dead (again) and dead people can't control anything.

yeah, except this is a raw deal that doesn't offer us anything except weaker powers.

>>
>>25962456

>>
>>25962199
NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE
Something is after us, we can't weaken ourselves

>>25962478
The Fey cant hurt us if we don't promise anything to them.

Its safer to keep our power and deal with the Fey later.

After all the visions, how can you possibly think this is beneficial? We need our strength and our newly earned persuasiveness to charm Isabella into a friend before we waste it and back ourselves into a corner we wont be able to talk our way out of.

We can give up our soul later if it means this much to you.

>>25962544
because we need every fucking ally we can get, we can make beneficial deals with the Fae... we fucked up and raped Avril we NEED them on our side!
>>
>>25962544
Being alone and "powerful" is probably worse than being weak but with more people.

Also, do you really think we can actually charm Isabella into a friend? This is already over. It's us or them.
>>
>>25962608
>>25962600
>>25962594
>>25962587
Yes, i understand why you people are worried and cautious.

But doing this deal is no worse than making a deal with the demon we know is behind things.

We are at the point where we have to choose.
This is litterally just pick a color, red or blue

>Make a deal with the fey. Loose our power, and regain Avril's trust. The fey would forever hold our soul and we would be subject to their will. We also just raped his daughter last night

>Seduce or deal with Isabella. Best case scenario, we dominate her and gain her following. This was our objective this entire time. Worst case, we make a deal for the exact same thing in option 1.

How can you not see that Isabella is honestly the better option?
>>
>>25962474
You sit down with Masami and Jill and make sure they have your address. You give Masami your mobile phone number as well. Jill is a little surprised when you mention that Avril probably won't be coming to the party, but you assure her that it's nothing to do with her.

You're a little distracted during class. You're still rolling Avril's proposed deal over in your head. You don't know what to think about it. And you're still very, very hungry.

Jill and Masami end up walking with you back to your house after school - Jill says she told her mother she was going straight to the library anyway, and Masami is a little worried about getting lost trying to find her way on her own. They stroll a little bit behind you, chatting lightly.

Your mother is happy to welcome them both inside, and brings out the trays of snacks she's prepared. The party is a little quiet, since you've got probably the two shyest girls in school in attendance, but the cake is clearly well appreciated. Jill is almost overwhelmed with joy at all the effort you've gone to for her sake. She takes the phone you got her with a little nervousness, but types your and Masami's numbers into it and promises to keep it safe and hidden from her mother. The books go straight into her bag - she doesn't want to spoil her party by just sitting there reading through them.

Is there anything else you'd like to say or do? You've probably got a few ideas for livening the party up a bit.
>>
>>25962772
and at the very least, we should attempt option 1 first before we reserve ourselves to be submitted by a Fey lord.

Dont know how our dominate nature would even let us pursue such a thing. We are a creature that feeds on domination
>>
>>25962800
Truth or Dare

cheesy, but we might either get a little playful satiation, or find out more about the mysterious girls.
>>
>>25962813
We still have free will, surely? I mean, the whole point of this deal is to demonstrate that we're more than just a 'bundle of hungers in a human skin'.
>>
>>25962772
Isabella's average and worst case scenarios end with us dominated right now
>>
>>25962813
This, I know we were a nerd, but we can't go lying down a piece of our soul to the first girl that shows us some tail. There will be others.
>>
I say we go full CE on this shit, feeding our hunger and building a power base. teegee has to many lawful good quests
>>
>>25962844
Fuck it, why not?
>>
>>25962869
and our "every case" scenario with the Fey is being dominated and weak.

Im only suggesting the option that cushions the blow the best.

We atleast have the possibility of coming out on top with Isabella.

Hell, you guys vote me up and get me in front of Isabella, I'll woo that icy she wolf with the power of my words. If i fuck up, I'll get us out with no attachments at the very least. Then i'll submit the point at vote for the Fey option

>>
>>25963087
what we NEED is to be a dom.

Once we have other Hungers, we can use them to sate ourself.

>>25963061
The Fey cant hurt us without getting us to make promises. They cant hurt us unless we let them.

Supernaturally that is.
>>
>>25963032
You suggest a few rounds of Truth or Dare. Jill is a little nervous, but when Masami happily agrees, she joins in too. The first round goes simply enough. Masami ends up dared to dance to her favourite song, which naturally turns out to be some Japanese number you can't understand a word of, and Jill tells you both that her most embarrassing moment was in the showers on Wednesday, being laughed at by everyone and not understanding what was happening to her. It sounds like talking about it here is helping her to get over it a little. Jill asks you who your first ever crush was, and you tell her about a girl you liked in primary school before you even really understood what liking a girl meant. You got about as far as going up to her at lunchtime once and saying that you liked her, then running away when she laughed.

Your turn.

((Feel free to submit a couple of questions and/or dares - I'm not going to stop and ask you for a new option every time it goes round to you, with only three players in the game.))
>>
>>25963149
Sating one hunger not necessarily sate all the others.

>>
>>25963225
>>25963230
well i say we join the other side.

Get in with Isabellas crew. We would have more than enough protection and resources to handle the Fey with a demon to make deals with.

I dont think we are ever going to agree with where we should take this character
>>
A note on the sacrifice issue: we are all about Control. Control of ourselves and our Hunger is still Control. Also, the Fae do NOT like accepting something without a bargain. As in, giving up a chunk of our power to them is not asking a boon of them, it is attempting to give them a debt (it's potentially beneficial to us, but still). So, among deciding about the sacrifice, we should decide what and how we should ask. And if what we request is of benefit to them as our loss is beneficial to us, then that's useful. And given what Avril has said of her parents, possibly quite expected.
>>
I vote for always doing the dare

truth is far to valuable to just hand out anybody
>>
>>25963316
this. instead, begin making apology gifts. the deal prevents future fuckups, but that doesn't excuse what we did

>>25963188

"so Masami, have you ever done anything scandalous on school grounds? A beautiful girl like you is probably propositioned at the very least."
>>
>>25963324
no FTFY! this is a terrible idea! she'll control us, no fucking free will, and without Avril she doesn't want us. We get in with the Fae, make bargains, get protected and prove that we're more than what we said we were
>>
>>25963230
I think the point Avril was making was that she didn't want the existing bargain to get worse. As in, for better or worse, that might already be within the scope of the bargain. It might be worth knowing if there is a debt, but asking seems particularly callous and risking finding this out at her parents possibly terminally stupid.
>>

Remember the whole wanting our blood thing. Those demons. Remember our first vision where we ended up with glassy eyes. That was isabella.

Nothing good comes from people like that. They want to control us and everyone else. They want to hurt our friends.

And you seem to have bad luck making deals. There is nothing mutually beneficial about the Fey deal. We owe them.

The demon deal on the other hand, we walk into with an even scale. We only take bargains we want, and only gain power we can afford.

Thats the beauty of it. It's all business, and we can set the terms. With the Fey, we only have one option, and i dont like those terms.

Plus, i find the Isabella option more.... thrilling
>>
>>25963455
She is a queen. She has no need for a king. All we will end up doing with her is becoming muscle for her as well as getting the scraps of her picks.
>>
I agree that making deals with Demons is retarded, but until we settle the score with the fae I suggest staying awake for safety reasons.
>>
>>25963455
The Fey won't control us. They will have a great influence over us but not absolute control.
And like Avril said "But unbreakable. Not without recovering the piece of your soul." which means we can always recover our soul on the future.
>>
>>25963535
we can at least agree to a meet up and discuss the terms, we just have to make a deal that would insure our safety.
>>
>>25963554
Queen is not as good as Ghoul at dominating a person. The only reason we don't have Isabella under our thumb right now is because everyone seems to vote for playing it safe.

A Queen is a provider of many, but Master of none.
A Ghoul is a puppeteer of specific targets.

Ghoul vs. Queen, we win 75% of the time. Then we have her like we did Avril, and we have her whole flock. We make the deals.

Demons are just like the Fey, except they wear a different uniform. We only need to take the bargains we are comfortable with. We will not be taken advantage of without our consent.

But the fey, already own a debt of ours. We will be up shit creek from the start.

I bet the Fey have been playing us this whole time anyways. Remember how we only barely managed to not become bound to Avril in the first place? Now she has plenty of reason to turn on us.

Things start going fairly rapidly round the circle - you ask Masami her darkest secret, to which she insists on taking a dare instead. Jill blushes massively when you dare her to take off a piece of clothing, and starts to protest, but Masami grins and takes off her socks. For her turn she goes straight back to you, daring you to hold Jill's hand for a minute. Neither of you find it nearly as thrilling as she seems to. If this were a cartoon, steam would be coming out of her ears, from how red she's gone by the end of the minute.

Not wanting to make the game just between the two of you, you ask Jill who her first crush was. She shyly admits it was you - you're basically the only boy she's ever talked to much at all. She quickly turns to Masami, and insists that even if Masami won't say what her darkest secret is, surely she can admit *some* sort of secret, just to the two of you. Masami dutifully admits that swimming is a guilty pleasure for her - it's the only part of P.E. she'd really like to take part in, if she could.

Masami seems to be coming out of her shell fairly rapidly now. Jill stammeringly admits her bra size to her (a quite respectable C cup) and turns the same question on Masami (an AAA cup. You didn't know they did those.)

Eventually you ask Masami how attractive she finds everyone in the room. Jill is first confused and then very embarrassed when Masami says that both of you are extremely pretty to her.

Any more questions or dares for them?

You ask Masami why she doesn't take part in P.E. She insists it's a much too boring answer for a proper Truth-or-Dare question - she just has a skin condition, and besides, changing in front of the other girls would be far, far too embarrassing. So you ask another question: what was her most embarrassing moment? She tells you that when she was younger, the first time she went to church, she mistook one of the door attendants for the high priest, because he was just so tall. She bowed so deeply to him that half her family laughed at her, and she spent that whole service and the next two barely daring to look at anyone The way she's telling it, she must have a pretty large family.

Masami takes the chance to ask Jill her darkest secret. Jill looks around a little nervously, and insists on whispering, even though there's no-one else remotely near you. She says that sometimes she worries that her mother's right about the Devil tempting the weak, because she's noticed that occasionally, when she's very angry with her mother or wrapped up in doubt, things nearby will shake or quiver. She's not sure what that means, but it can't be good. Masami seems very dubious of the whole thing.

Finally you dare Jill to kiss Masami. Both of them go bright red, but then Jill haltingly proclaims that kissing another girl isn't like kissing a boy, and goes in for the kiss. When she's done, both of them seem a little bit distracted, and not up for many more questions or dares.

((Cont))

Masami tells you that now that she's walked here from school, she'll have no problem finding her way back to her house, so she heads home alone, and you escort Jill most of the way to her house, remembering to show her how to switch her mobile onto silent mode.

Tuesday will be English, History, Physics and Maths again. You don't have any classes with either Avril or Isabella today, although you have History and Maths with Jill.

Is there anything you want to say to Jill? Do you want to try and seek out Avril or Isabella at lunch, or possibly Masami?
>>
>>25964219
OK

Fine, I cant very well preach about making deals for power with the demon, if Im against listening to the terms of the Fey.

But I will not budge that we need to start doing some serious work with Isabella. This whole Fey thing is entertaining, but the real power is on Isabella's side.

We cant not afford to woo her. She is either with us or against us, and as long as we keep putting it off we are in much more danger than the Fey can do to us.
>>
>>25964317
Oh fuck. I already know what Jill is. Very well played.

>>25964406
((Thank you. I'm still honestly surprised no-one freaked out the moment Jill's surname first came up..))
>>
>>25964400
I thought it was made very clear that she's against us already, from the setup at the party, to what we said to her, to the deal she's made in order to get us.
I don't see how we can offer her anything that will break her deal with the demon.
>>
>>25964400
I can see merit in what you're saying, but do you remember what happens the moment we fuck Isabella? it's essentially game over
>>
>>25964426
What is Jill's surname? Didn't pay attention to that.
>>
>>25964400
I think it's pretty obvious that Isabella is against us. We saw her and Jason dealing with an unknowable entity. We've challenged Isabella in her own home, and we just beat up Jason and denied him the thing his master was demanding of him. Neither of them has any reason to want anything good for us, or to believe we come in good faith even if we do approach them with a deal. The die is cast.
>>
>>25964399
Ask Jill how she enjoyed the party.
Also, give Avril her space; don't go looking for her. If she wants to talk with us, she'll come to us.

Finally, we may as well talk with Isabella, if only to find out what she's made a deal to get from us.
>>
>>25964400
Issy is with the god damned mother fucking demons! She is straight up against us. Wooing her is not an option. Killing or breaking her is the only option.
>>
>>25964456
I agree with you.

But perhaps an unqualified failure with Isabelle is what is required for those that think we should make a deal with demons, or that she can be sufficiently seduced to betray her own pact with demons, to finally realize that she cannot be negotiated with.
>>

Lets find her, and see what she says about everything we think we know. Time to ask the tough questions to her face.

"So what do you want from me?"
"Did you send those goons for me over the weekend?"
"Explain your connection to what i saw happening with Cassandra"

And then we provoke her interest while she has her guard shook.

"You are getting in way over your head and you know that dont you? You are being quite the naughty girl.... You know what happens to bad girls? They get a spanking."

That actually brings up a good point. When it comes down to ripping and tearing, how well does our "species" stack up against other supernatural heavy hitters? I've seen a lot of stuff suggesting that we're more manipulative than fisticuffs and we didn't kill/maim Jason.
>>
>>25964793

>>
>>25964791

Whose fucking guards were following Jason you dense motherfucker! The same FUCKING BODY BUILDING THUGS FROM THE PARTY!
>>
>>25964793
Well, really, our biggest advantage in that arena is the move that lets us re-resurrect when we die. That lets us make infinite suicide runs, which goes a long way towards evening the odds.
>>
>>25964791
Why shouldn't she know that? We know Jason's goons dragged him off, but did they do it before or after seeing us start to rape Avril? How do we know the demon bankrolling them both didn't acquire the information through whatever arcane means of it's own? And so far the only threat we've been able to back up is the threat of violence, which she CANNOT FAIL to know we cannot leverage at school, and she's not stupid enough to go anywhere without her cronies outside of school. We have nothing.
>>
>>25964838
((Just as a small point of world description here, the thugs with Jason weren't at the party. They were all grown men, probably over 30, and the party was all students from various years (i.e. ages 12-18). ))
>>
>>25964793
We're in the top range, but Demon dealers can get sick bonuses out of their deals, and werewolves will wipe the floor with us. Most non fighters we can take physically. Manipulation wise, we're the best one on one, but Queen will fuck us with large groups, and vampires are a close second to us, with Fae being utter bastards to go against if we don't get an early advantage like we had against Avril.
>>
>>25964853
Where do we re-spawn when we die? Do we reform on the spot? In a dark and dank hole we marked? Next to some special object we imbued with power?

You make a point of seeking out Isabella at lunch. She's surrounded by a group of followers as usual, although it seems like Cassandra is a little farther from Isabella than she usually is. It's hard to tell in the mix and movement of the group, though.

You push your way past a couple of the outlying people, eliciting a few complaints, until you find yourself face to face with Isabella. She's leaning upon Apollo, who looks as blank and uncaring as ever, and smiles as she sees you. It's not a nice smile.

"Well, well. It's good to see you, Chris. I knew you couldn't stay away forever."

"Good afternoon, Isabella. Had any more thoughts about that question I asked you on Thursday?"

"My heart's desire? Oh, but the problem is that I have far more than one, you see. I simply wouldn't know what to pick. And new, interesting things keep popping up. You, for example. You're very interesting indeed. Bold, strong. Presumptuous, though. Was that the only thing you wanted to talk to me about? I'm sure you have some interesting books to read or something." Her followers chuckle along obediently.

"Not quite the only thing, no. There's obviously things you want from me. And I think you know there are things I want from you, aren't there? As long as neither of us gets too.. 'presumptuous', I was thinking we might be able to come to an arrangement."

Isabella smiles. "Now that's more like the sort of thing I want to hear. I can promise you, it'll be the deal of your life."

>>25965165
We're so fucked.
Don't let on that we lost Avril for as long as possible, but we need to be ready to make some concessions, otherwise we are going to be lucky to stay alive even as a slave. Also, if Cassandra is acting distant we need to act soon, seeing as she's likely a witch working with Isabella who has now been replaced by Isabella's new sugar daddy.

>>25965197
Thanks for the cool quest and your effort op.
>>
>>25965343
well yeah, we just have to be tactful.

Isabella is very social smart. She knows how to swing a deal i'm sure. Meeting her on equal ground in an arrangement is great, but I think the key to actually getting anywhere productive with this is finding a way to dominate her.

We've taken two perks that allow us to better seduce people. We should be using that on literally every person we meet.Otherwise why bother choosing them?

We need to charm this woman. We have the capability. We need to make her want to assist us. We dont have to sleep with her, but we should become her best friend at the very least. Isabella is in an interesting spot right now because she has recently suffered a series of small annoyances. She knows we are responsible for Avril also. We have presence.

If we act like we have all the cards, then she might start to believe it in combination with our supernatural seduction and persuasion.
>>
>>25965683
Except that she's already made a deal with a demon to get us for it. You want to get her to renege on a deal with a demon.
I don't think that's at all likely.
>>
>>25965357
>Don't let on that we lost Avril
It seems pretty evident, since we didn't came with her now while we brought her in the earlier trap party.
>>
>>25962521 >>25963061
The actions we took, that got Anon to say "you didn't puke, therefore you don't realise what you have done" were all about taking care of her. I think being all awkward was the only thing we could do.

And I'm still upset that she came up to us on her knees after the fight, instead of running away. I mean, we were supposed to have rolled a success and look a little angry. So beta of her.

Why would we get in a deal that reduces our might, when we try to use it to help her?

And wtf now. The only deal we want with Isabella is to not feed on each other cattle. And we've seen she isn't flying solo, so no deal. We don't want some "give me protection" deal, since that implies we expose what we'd want protection from. Then she would have got us, by getting everything from us to not get kidnapped and delivered to this threat.

TLDR: Don't tell her you need protection. So don't make a deal.
>>
>>25967122
I honestly don't see why everyone wants to make some sort of deal with Isabella at this stage, I see us in a position to gain nothign and lose everything for no reason
>>
>>25967224
I guess that's what we get when people vote for "talk to who" then decide what to say.

Avril doesn't seem too mad, just don't talk to me. We could try to starve/control our hunger, as one Anon suggested. We still don't know how this thing works.

However, Isabella just screams bad ideas all around, making a deal with her is a fucking terribad decision and I just hope i'm there at the start of the next thread to hopefully steer this trainwreck away from the orphanage

You and me both.

For justice!

Isn't an orphanage the best place a train could wreck, considering they have no families to mourn them anyway?

The deal with the father indeed sounds like "loose a level". We need to trust the father, but his daughter swore herself to us, so that might give him a reason to avoid been an asshole. It feels like a correct deal. I think we should try and talk to her father, to see if he is ok doing that, and if he's a complete freak.

sorry, forgot my sage

well, thats what I assume the whole, find the oldest tree tomorrow night at the park thingy is about, it lines up with the vision we had
>>
Okay, caught up, more or less.
Now I feel even more awful about the way we escalated things.
>>25965197
You're really good at this.
>>

MC is a really awful person.
>>
>>25971119
No shit, dying made him a psychopath, or close.
>>
>>25971119
Wanting to fight was a real bad decision.
>>
>>25971316
We could have stopped it by taking harm or string, but it ended up being the option that only increased the mess.
>>
I hope we didn't frustrate MH too much.
I'd hate if he stopped running because of this.

>We could have stopped it by taking harm or string.
I'm still not convinced, those options seemed to imply Chris and him get one hit (physical or mental). And to imply the brawl goes on afterward, with his mate closing on us.
>>
>>25971416
It was an ugly dilemma to put it mildy, but at the very least we wouldn't have hurt the only person close enough to be full trusthworthy.
inb4 someone goes >WAIFUFAGS HATE FUN/CARE TOO MUCH
again.

Edgy doesn't even begin to describe it.

Just a heads-up.

Waifufags get inordinately mad about shit that already happened.
>>
>>25971416
just going to point this out-unless it kills you, physical damage is almost always the best choice. Especially if its just some bruises, like it was
>>
>>25973533
plus if we take the return from the dead or the satiety perks then it has even less value as either Harm can't kill us and/or we heal real fast.
>>
>>25973533
Huh, didn't realise the old thread was still live.
Please try not to bump it, anyway, it's over and done with.

The new thread will be up once I've finished writing the summary post, which will probably take another 20 minutes at least, they're always the trickiest bits of the quest.
>>
>>25973581
Cool. Link it here to save us searching then.
>>
>>25973472
It's not something to just shrug off.
>>
>>25973702
You can't change the past. Also kindly stop bumping this long-dead thread, please.
>>
I can't help but think some of yesterday's players were trolling the quest though
>>
>>25974113
Curious how we'll do this time.
>>
>>25974275
Hey, at least we can't do worse!

Right?
>>
>>25974310
I'll quote this post once we do. No, seriously. You'll jinx us.
>>25973472
Not really mad, no.
Not anymore. Just sad.
>>25971889
Rrrright, that was the term. Thanks.
