You are Lord William Bordain, Lord of Morderengrad and the Norther Valley. Some call you the Iron Lord, as your wealth flows from the arms and armor you sell, and your demeanor is as unflinching and cold as castle-forged steel. Other have taken to calling you “The Grey Giant”, in reference to your great size, less-than-warm demeanor, and your recent marriage to House Tollett of Grey Glen.

You are a Lord by right of Murder, having slain the Targaryen children in the Sack of King’s Landing. After years of solitary brooding, you have decided to rejoin life, You have wedded the lady Alyssa Tollet, meaning that in time the lands of her father, lord Tollet of Gray Glen, will also be yours. Further, your wife has just announced that she is with child.

Which means that you have a legacy to create. You will not leave your child without care or resources, and so you have dived into the management of your lands and holdings, to procure a bright future for yourself and your children. But storm clouds darken the horizon. Tywin Lannister has asked that you seek to supplant Jon Arryn, your liege lord, as Hand of The King. Further, Oberyn Martell has crossed you, and this you will not let go unpunished.

For now, though, your mind is on your armies, lands, and peoples.

You’ve just hired a passel of men to begin organizing and arranging your Land’s funds. Walter Janks you have appointed to be your Foreman at the Gold Mine, while Alphonse Reitt begins to establish a bank in your lands. Ilwin Meadows shall be your accountingman, while Doma Toceri is to be your representative in distant lands. But Doma has a secret you wish to hear. One about your new adversary, Oberyn Martell.

I don't get why we hire Doma Toceri, he screams of a conman, and we don't even sent products over seas.
>>
>>25998734
Well we don't as of now.

But it'd be nice to break into that field in the future.

Plus our maester wouldn't have approved of him unless he got results.
>>
>>25998769
>But it'd be nice to break into that field in the future.

I could agree with that, but we don't have the ships or a shipyard to even begin. He better make himself useful.
>>
>>25998729
Well that took forever to post.

>>25998734
There was also some talk of just paying him for the secret and sending him on his way.

IN ANY CASE. ON WITH HIS TALE

" Doma, I demand you give me the information now, or I will set you on fire and forge the iron in your blood into nails."

He nods his head, seemingly unimpressed by your threat.

"As you will, my lord. It is, I think most useful to you." He glances from side to side. "Perhaps, more privately told would be best?"

You nod, and have the other men shown to quarters while you have Korbis make arrangements for their room and board.

When you are alone, you gesture for Doma to speak.

"First, know that this is not a thing Doma hears from one who hears from one who knew one. This was told to Doma straight. It is a secret of two parts. First, Doma is speaking with pleasure slave," he pauses for a moment. "No, is...whore, here, yes? Doma is speaking with whore, paying her for knowledge of acts of powerful men. Such knowledge is great leverage, Doma finds. Here she speaks of one known as The Red Viper. He has been to her house, she tells Doma. And in the chamber, she hears a man shouting, and blows struck. He demands more, more. After a time, She seems him leave, bruises upon his skin. This, Doma thinks is strange. A great Lord, with the pain-thirst? So Doma hunts. And Doma finds a man. Guard of Sunstone. Tells Doma that he had seen this Viper shamefully, publicly drunk. That a messenger had come, and whispered in his ear. That the Viper replied, loud enough for the guard to hear: "Tell him I don't follow the words of kinslayers and cowards. If he wants to see me, he can come down among the filth." "
"This alone Doma would not offer you, but that Doma found the messenger, and made him tell the tale, and it agreed. Doma could not make him give up his master, but there is only one master in Sunstone, Doma thinks. You see, my lord?"
>>
>>25998631
>Other have taken to calling you “The Grey Giant”,

Nice.

And the thread started just as I finished Season 4 of The Wire.

Fucking great!
>>
>>25998974

"Sunstone? You mean Sunspear?"
>>
>>25999025

Doma stares at you for a beat, then says something in Lyrish, then says the same word, but with a different emphasis. He seems to get irritated.
"Doma does, my lord. It seems the guard spoke Lyrish poorly. This shames Doma, to speak so foolish before a Lord. SunSPEAR."

He shakes his head, clearly now put out that he said the wrong name for Dorne's capital.
>>
>>25999084

"Very well, continue what did the messenger told you?"
>>
>>25999152

I second this.
>>
>>25999152

Doma looks at you a little blankly.
"That his master sent him from Sunspear to speak with Oberyn, and Oberyn said he heeded not cowards and kinslayers, that his master would needs must come to him. Close enough to the guard's tale to ring true, my lord."

>That's the secret.
>Do you understand it?
>>
>>25999183
>"Tell him I don't follow the words of kinslayers and cowards. If he wants to see me, he can come down among the filth."

So the master is the cowardly kinslayer?

I'm making sure I get this right.
>>
>>25999253
Yes. The servant's master, who lives in Sunspear, was called "coward and kinslayer" by Oberyn.

It is also presumably someone who thinks they have the right to order Oberyn.

Further, it seems that Oberyn pays whores to beat him.
>>
>>25999183
Honestly, I do not understand the tale, please explain more?
>>
>>25999183

So he is implying that their is a some kind of serious disagreement between Doran Martell (The "Master" of Sunspear, and possible the only one that could order the Viper around like that) and Oberyn. I could understand coward as Doran is know to be passive but "kinslayer"?

Speak with Arban see if we are missing something here.
>>
>>25999300
>Honestly, I do not understand the tale, please explain more?

>Doma playin' with bitches
>Doma hear Oberyn getting good-smacked the fuck up
>Doma wanna see if more info on Oberyn can be obtained
>Doma followed him
>Doma see Oberyn talking to guard loudly
>Doma hear this shit
>Doma make sure the shit is real
>Doma find out that shit be real
>>
>>25999350
He does seem the likely man, given his reputation for cautiousness. And it is possible that Oberyn holds him partly responsible for the death of Elia. What was his role in Robert's rebellion?
>>
>>25999350
Correct!

>>25999410
To put it simply: None.
During the war, he didn't really do anything.

Toward the end, Elia was held by Aerys as a hostage, and she was killed by The Mountain

After which, Oberyn Martell was ready to march the armies of Dorne up in Civil War to avenge her, but Doran talked him out of it.

Assuming this is true, Oberyn apparently blames his brother's caution for their sister's death.
>>
>>25999299
So, if we're understanding Doma correctly, the Viper is both a glutton for punishment, and feuding with Doran, his brother and lord of Sunspear.
>>
>>25999410

Hmm, that could make sense while drunk and "depress" as his story describes him. Still I dont see anything useful even with his strange whoring habits are useless since he has a reputation of worse.
>>
>>25999511
>Still I dont see anything useful

The fact that there's a divide between Doran and Oberyn.

We could use that.
>>
>>25999511
While we can't ally with Doran (as he has as much reason to hate us as Oberyn), we could use the feud, along with knowledge of Oberyn's habits, to our advantage.

You do know that, from past rumors of Oberyn's...actions, that this beating thing is new, if true. He's more known for being rough and ready himself.

So something has recently changed that made him desire beatings.

You wave Doma off, demanding results with his efforts in foreign markets. He bows and exits.

Now, it's time for your house action this month, as well as deciding which unit to upgrade equipment.
>>
>>25999589
>>25999603

Yeah, but Oberyn is all the way back at Dorne, way outside our reach where he is well like and were we could be hated and whatever agents we sent will be strangers. If he were to leave Dorne then things could be different..
>>
>>25999630

We might see to the expansion of the Town, with the gold moving it will be easy.
>>
>>25999732

I second this.
>>
>>25999630
Expanding town is good.
>>
>>25999732
I dunno, we shouldn't start construction and expansion until we have the architect and mason's guild.
>>

Neither of those work on the Town expansion.

>>
>>25999766
Oh, crap. Speak of the devil, I miscounted months last thread.

2 guys also show up this month to compete for architect.
Do you want to do another interview?

>>25999829
Masons do.
ALL Construction times, not just fortifications.
And the Architect won't give a numeric advantage, but he will make your town look a little nicer.
>>

>Do you want to do another interview?

Or at least not yet.
>>

I am being thinking apart from gold and Iron what else is their on the Mountains? Because having a Quarry of Marble or Granite around could be profitable.

He's at an A-cup currently.
>>
>>25999913
Arban vets anyone he sends before you.

>>25999904
>>25999885
A couple weeks later, Arban calls you to your throne room, to introduce you to the two applicants for architect.

Two men stand before you, one older, graying, and weathered. The other is younger, though still probably a hand or so years older than you. He is chekcing the archways of your doors, mumbling to himself. He straightens as you enter, and both bow when you reach the dais. The older man begins a deep, barking cough when he bows, and it takes him a moment to compose himself.

Arban steps forward.
"My lord, may I present Killian Wyman, from the Arbor" The older man bows again. "And Edgar, of Highgarden." The younger bows.

"Gentlemen, welcome to Morderengrad," you intone, the necessary function of your lordship. "How were your journeys?"

Killian speaks first, with a deferral from Edgar.
"Well enough, my lord. The weather held passing fair, so I could camp beneath the stars rather than waste coin at an inn. The clean air does me good." His cough rattles through him again, but he tamps it down.

"My lord, my expedition has been most fortunate," Edgar begins. "Between your Demesne and Highgarden laid a multitude of delights, and architectural triumphs, failures, and boondoggles!"
The man practically glows with memory of this trip.

>Questions?
>Arban's opinion?
>>
>>26000153
"Have you two had time to see the town yet? If not, please do so before we continue. But, if you have, what do you see?"
Then ask Arban for his thoughts.
>>
>>26000153
Ask each of them what they think of your digs
>>
>>26000153

>>

>>26000212

"What do you think of Morderengard?"

"How would you make it better?"

>>
>>26000228
>>26000188
>>26000212
>>26000220
"Sirs, before we begin, have you had time to view my holdings? My castle, town, port and mines?"
The men shake their heads.
"Then go do so. We shall speak at your return."

Edgar bows, and practically bounds out of the room. Killian bows, and beings his inspection with the Throne room, giving it a perfunctory once-over, before walking out.

"Tell me of these men, Arban."

"Killian is well known for his craft, my lord. Never a poorly made structure, and never a cent over budget. The man pinches pennies so hard you can hear them cry. He will make you sturdy, functional buildings, and he will make them cheaply. "

"Edgar,as you might have noticed from his vocabulary, has some Oldtown Training. Not a maester, but he holds a link in architecture. Young and inventive. His designs are fairly adaptive, so if you give him some direction, he'll build to please you. Also, the man has more spirit for his job than most. Frequently saves his employers some coin by getting right in the construction, moving brick and clay by hand, checking angles from the wall, and so on."

"Edgar would be best if you want to focus on changing your image, making your holdings less overtly militaristic. He's also the one you want if you want initiative. Killian, on the other hand, answers to the bottom line. He isn't showy, and he isn't fast. But He'll make you things that last, and save you money while doing it."

Let's ask our wife her opinion.

(I keep forgetting her name)
>>
>>26000420

Killian matches William the best.
>>
>>26000420
A day later, the two men return to your throne room.

"Gentlemen, welcome again. What did you see in your overview?"

Edgar steps forward, and opens a small journal. Apparently, he took notes.
"My lord, it's a wonderful place you have. Your immediate holdings are very bucolic but speak of endurance and gravitas. There is a soupçon of a "evil wizard's tower" feel that we'd need to address, but given your predilection for intimidation, that might be for the best!"
"I have a few designs here for augments and alterations. I see your city and I think, "ready for a siege" I think I have some designs that will change that to "ready for war!" "
He's got some designs doodled in his journal, as he says. one is for a..."Steel Seat". Your own Iron Throne. With a shield motif instead of swords. It's rather tastefully done.

You let Edgar run himself down, and then have Killian step forward.

"It's a fine place, my lord. And the rumor is you're looking to expand. That sort of thing takes a fair spit of time, and I won't lie to you, a pretty penny beside. " He chuckles, which devolves into another cough. You suspect that this is not an illness, but a condition with the man.
"Looking her over, there's some room to make things easier. And if You're looking to expand, may I suggest back? Nothing wrong with the old "heart of the mountain" sort of feel. A Warren to Arryn's Eyrie. Dig into the mountain, and you've got the Earth itself doing half your work."
"Beyond that, good old stone and earth will let your people know that your lands are here to stay. Keep it solid, set, and serious."
You feel that the last line is an axiom he developed himself.

(cont)
>>
>>26000655

>>26000537
You call the Lady Alyssa down to meet the men and render her judgement. After a few questions, she leans in, and your two confer so no one can here.
"It seems a matter of fire or earth, my lord. Edgar's got a creative spark, which I like, and I feel like anything we tell Killian to do will get done. If I had to choose, I'd say Edgar, but I can see how Killian would appeal to you, William."

>decision?
>>
>>26000671

Hmm, both are appealing. Edgar is a bit presumptuous, a copy of the Iron Throne isn't dignified and will annoy people. On the other hand, Killian wants to build inside a mountain?
>>
>>26000671
I prefer Killian.
>>
>>26000671

I am leaning to Edgar if he is able to if he can change the themes form intimidation and war to those strength and security. Similar things but quite different.
>>
>>26000671

Killian. Fucking mountain fortress.
>>
>>26000671

Edgar, but we won't build a rip-off of the Iron Throne. Too gaudy.

But maybe we could offer Killian to go be with Lord Belmore, Tollet or any other lords or ladies?
>>
>>26000671
>Killian

To the point and useful.
>>
>>26000671
I'm going to lean Edgar on this one
>>
>>26000671
Killian, although I feel that Edgar may be of great help to Lysa's father at Grey Glen.
>>
>>26000775

I'd rather keep the war/intimidation feel, so I wil go with Killian.
>>
>>26000671
I'd say go with Killian, we can make our own dwarf fortress.
>>
>>26000671
I'd say Killian
>>
>>26000936

And with that, you resolved to hire Killian!

"Masters, I thank you for your time and ideas. I have decided I will retain Killian's services as my chief architect. Edgar, you may stay here for a time before you go."

Both men bow, though Edgar seems deflated.

A it is.
Arban summons you down to the Throne Room, where a figure you recognize waits for you. Murwin, of the Painted Dogs. He's in finer dress than last you saw him, but his thin face is more troubled. He nods when you enter.
"Hail, Chief of Iron. Hail, William Bordain. And Hail Lord of Morderengrad and the Norther Valley."

"Murwin, a pleasure to see you."

"Is it, Lord? The Painted Dogs do not see it so. We lack Love
We lack Order
We lack Respect
We lack Duty.
And so we lack our LORD."
"10 months has it been since you said "Here shall there be a town, and here a tower, and soon the ships I promised shall come." "
"And then you thy eyes to your little Valemen towns, and turned your thoughts to them, and left us to the cold and rock. And me without boats."

Murwin seems distressed. He was the clever one of the Painted Dogs, so if he feels this way, things may be going badly in your outer holdings.
>>
>>26001623
2nd, honestly, we can give out arms and armor pretty willingly. We have a blacksmith, we have enough iron that we can give out a suit of it every now and then. If every time someone huge visited us at our request we gave them a good arrival gift, we would be seen as pretty ballin'
>>
>>26001684
"Murwin, these things take time. I've almost finished setting the ground work, as you probably know I just hired an architect to help with the construction, and I'm waiting on a payment from King Baretheon to pad out my coffers. Once I receive the King's money, construction will be put underway."
>>
>>26001684

Wait, wasn't a small town already up and running?

"I fucked up. I admit it, but I shall keep my promises."
>>
>>26001745
>>26001753
Forgive me, Murwin's cryptic language may have not made the point clear.

You have started construction of the town and tower, Murwin's complaint is that you haven't done ANYTHING else with the Painted Dogs.
>>
>>26001753
Oh and, not quite. They're building one, but it's not quite complete.
>>
>>26001794
Oooh, I gotcha. A lot of them are in our military, right?
>>
Pretty much this, admit we have delay more than we should but we will not fail to deliver. Ask him to stay we u a few days and talk with us with Killian we will begin laying the plans for the town and harbor.
>>
>>26001794
Ah, in that case we'll just need to see about getting him so boats I s'pose. Maybe throw the Painted Dogs a banquet in whatever part of their town is mostly complete?
>>
>>26001794
How much do boats cost? We have a dock, so we can build them.
>>
>>26001817

>>26001837

>>26001845

"You're right, Murwin. I fucked up. I had forgotten you, in the haste of my wedding, and politics. I have delayed longer than I intended. But know that I am acting. I have hired an architect, to help design the town and tower, and build more towns. I await money from the King, once that arrives, I shall begin making more expansion and growth for your lands. Come, stay with me a few days, and see the plans we're making."

(Persuasion...Success!)

Murwin nods.
"We saw the Lord's wedding, and have heard that he will have a son. Vil-Ak says the spirits are pleased with your strength and fertiliity. No man wishes to be forgotten, lord."

You've placated him for now, but you'll need to do some things for the painted dogs to get your relationship with them back up.

Port and dock (Will pay themselves pretty fast by making the transportation of the gold faster)
Road (That passes right through the town and to our father in law lands.)
Marketplace( More people will be willing to make the trip up rider and bring goods to the town)

All those thighs serve the double propose of also benefiting us, we should also see if we can encourage other industries that Murwin's people do. Do they are herders right? Cheese Making could fit right into their culture and be right thing to encourage, hire some professionals to teach them or improve their methods, pay the for the construction of the workshops let them work it themselves. We encourage a little trader and both of us enjoy the profit.
>>
>>26002200
Sorry, they work in units.\

it's 2 to 1 on Merchants ships, and I think 2 to 1 on scene 1 versus scene two >>26002135 just says agreed.
So new wealth 20
"Murwin, I'll order you some merchant ships immediately!"

SCENE 1.

As Murwin, Killian, and you are looking over the plans, you're called down to the Throne room again.

you stride in to see four armed men, bearing golden cloaks, who nod as you enter.
"Gentlemen, how can I help you?"
"Lord Crispian sent us, my lord. Some matter of the King's restitution?"

Oh, yes, the gold. The wonderful Gold.

NEW WEALTH: 55.

FINAL SCENE

Your dining in your solar, when Arban leads a solitary man into your chambers. He's big, and wide, and his hair is as grey as granite.

"My lord, this is-"
"Kevan Lengton, my lord, Head Mason. We heard you were looking to get some of us up in your territory, and I said to myself, 'Kevan, andyone can be a Mason in King's Landing. But it takes nerve to set up in the Vale! Me and my boys are at your service, my lord, assuming you can pay the right price!"

Mason's Guild Hired.
New Wealth: 40.

One house action remaining this month. Then you have promises to keep. Namely, you told your sister you'd take her to they Eyrie. Unless you don't think you have the time.
>Keep word
>focus on lands

If we're going for revinue increasing buildings, I say we go for mines/jewler combo.

Jewler gives us +1 wealth per gold/silver/gem mine, Jewler Guild doubles that. Smelter (Which we already have) Would double the bonus for gold/silver, not to mention the income bonus from the mines themselves.

Since we already have a Gold mine and a Smelter, I'd say we're already partially started on it.

18 wealth (-2 from architect) gets us Jewler + Silvermine, which would net us an additional +5 wealth which quickly pays for itself.

39 wealth gets us Jewler + Guild and a Silver/Gem mine, which nets us a whopping +10/13 wealth, depending on how smelter stacks with Jewler's doubling bonus (does x2 +x2 become x3 or x4?)
>>
>>26002428
>Keep word
Of course, perhaps bring the chiefs of the painted dogs along too, to show them high court or something?
>>
>>26002428
Wow, I never actually expected Robert to deliver. Let's keep our word.
>>
>Keep word

Ask Murwin to excuse us, but we weren't lying about having a lot of things to do.

>>26002459

I say those things because Murwin's people will see them improvements on their lives. A Jewler, well I don't see them enjoying that kind luxury just yet. Is not that far but we need to integrated them further or that.
>>
>>26002492
>>26002480

You remind yourself that a man's word is his bond, and you WILL take your sister to the Eyrie. You also send ravens to invite the Chiefs of the Painted Dogs, so that they can see Lord Arryn's Keep.

You have one action to perform first.
(NOTE: You possess sufficient defense to begin construction of EITHER a tower for your port, or expanding Morderengrad)
>>
>>26002459
wait lemme doublecheck the math
Assuming Guild + Smelter = x3 bonus
Jewler Bonus (Gold/silver) 2x6(Jewer+Guild+Smelter)Gems 2x2 (Jeweler+Guild) 4 +Mine bonus 2 = 12

Yeah, I messed up and though a semiprecious mine produced 2 wealth instead of 1.

>>26002575
Yeah, I just want to make more money for ourself.
>>
>>26002592

The tower, it will fishing faster.
>>
>>26002624
messed that up, it should be 2x3=6, not 2x6...
>>
>>26002592
Tower for the port first.

Can power be converted to defense?
>>
>>26002647
Nope, Influence, Law and Population.
Apprently only Lands convert into Pop at 1:1, wealth naturally coverts to *anything* at 2:1
>>
>>26002647
Strangely, no.

>>26002625
You have Killian begin construction of the Port Tower, to guard your docks.
With your mason's guild reducing the time, it will only take...5 years! You saved an entire year!

Defense: 5

AND then you began your trip to the Eyrie, bringing your family, and several of the Chiefs of Painted Dogs. Gorda, Murwin, and Vil-Ak all ride wih you, while Luuk, Tor, Rogar, and Gog remain behind.

Riding with your family, you stretch out and feel Stelgar beneath you. You've spent most of the past year within a league of your castle, and it feels good to be out and about. Like when you were on campaign, back when you were a young squire in a war you barely understood...
Your reverie is interrupted by arrows.

You manage to pop up an gauntleted hand to guard your face from the incoming arrows. As you do so, you see men charging from the woods.
There appear to be about 30 bandits. Between the chiefs, your family, and yourself, you number eight souls. You are outnumbered almost four to one.

Which is why it is lucky you brought half of your Bloodsmiths with you.

Ten Battlehardened men turn and begin to form a defensive perimeter around the non-combatants. One man tosses you a War-pick, as you had been riding unarmed.

What do you do?
>>
>>26002962
>What do you do?

Crack some fucking skulls open like eggs at breakfast.
>>
>>26002962

Going to need to get in a more easy to defend area. If there isn't any nearby or it is too far away then we need to make sure we don't get surrounded.

"SHIELDING RING" You cry out, and your Bloodsmiths move into formation

You turn your head quickly surveying the terrain. There's precious little. A river about a hundred yards off. If you can make it there, you can widen your perimeter, but it's not going to be easy.

A bandit leaps at you...and gets a warpick in the eye, your swing pulling the rest of his face off as you follow through.

If you stay here, you'll be surrounded quickly, but your men are skilled, they might be able to hold off the bandits. Moving puts you at greater risk now, but you'll be more defended in a bit.

>CHoice?

Your dreadnought armor is mere days from completion.

I was thinking more like pic related, but with spears shoved up their bodies in such a way that keeps them alive.
And them being used like flags. Waved around proudly to show what happens to those who attack our family.
>>
>>26003183

Move for the river. And does our wife have the knife we gave her?
>>
>>26003183

Key rule of a battle. Never let yourself get surrounded by a greater force.
>>
>>26003224
>by a greater force.

Nigga, do bandits seem like a greater force than us?
>>
>>26003197
>>26003211
"TO THE RIVER!" You cry, your men beginning to sidle along, their steps slow and measured. A long arrow comes arcing out of the woods, and slams into you for seven damage!

(You have 8 total health. You may take an injury to reduce the damage by 3, or a wound to negate it. Going to 0 health takes you out of the fight.)
>>
>>26003183
I'm just saying, that it'd be very helpful for situations like these.
Also I'm assuming we've got a set designed specifically for tournaments (Where armour is more heavily focused on upper front) already underway.

>>26003197
>>26003224
It's also a bad idea to break a formation, if we can make a organized retreat that'd be good, but it seems like we're already engaging. We'd probably be able to pull back from engagement if we just had our bloodsmiths, but we have some civillians with us, who aren't trained to do this. I don't want our family getting cut down becasue they decided to rout.
>>
>>26003266

You could have the most skilled force alive and lose to peasants with knives if your outnumbered badly enough. Mainly because you can only focus on so many things at once and you can't let them grapple you or get a good hit in. It's also very demoralizing to not have a path of retreat.
>>
>>26003308

I think we should take a injury.
>>
>>26003308

Take an injury.
>>

BERSERK TRIGGERS
Roll 7d6.

You also see one of your bloodsmiths take an axe from a bandit. He stumbles, but lashes out, and cleaves the man in half.

The bandits lose 5 of their men in that first collision, while only you and the one other man take a blow.

You cut the bandit down.
Current health (5 of 8)

Another round of combat...
The arrow comes arcing out after you again, this time connecting for 2 points of damage. (Injury?)

Meanwhile, the bandits are getting much more cautious, and, while they don't harm any of your bloodsmiths, they only lose two men.

Current count: 23 versus 11. (14 if you let the Chiefs take the ring. 15 if you let your father. )

You worry at their patience. They aren't running, which suggests they think they can still win this.

At this pace, it will take another 4 rounds to reach the river. The bandits haven't spread to that side of the ring yet, which is also confusing.
>>
>>26003572

No need to take a injury here. Also it is very possible they have set up a trap near that side.
>>
>>26003572

Let the chiefs come in if they want, and what can we do if we spend a fate point?
>>
>>26003572
You know, I bet they wouldn't be expecting us to charge...
>>
>>26003625
I think we've fazed out fate points.
>>
>>26003572
I'm wanting three of you alive for questionning on who sent you. The ones that die are the lucky ones.
>>
>>26003659

Nah. We still have them I think. Just needs to be dramatic enough to use.
>>
>>26003659
>I think we've fazed out fate points.

Have we?
>>
>>26003693
I know one of the GoT quest fazed them out, can't remember if it was Harrock or this one.
>>
>>26003701

Harrock.
>>
Someone is trying to kill us, like someone knew we were coming this way and arrange this ambush and specially the archer to get us kill. After this someone is going to pay, hardcore pay.
>>
>>26003601
(Current Health: 3/8)

>>26003625
The Chiefs take their place on the line, easing pressure on the Bloodsmiths.
And spending a fate point can boost a roll, ignore your armor penalty for a turn, or add a small detail to a scene.

>>26003659
You've still got them. Normally, I just use them as floating re-rolls behind the scenes. You actually haven't used any since the wedding, so you have 5 available until the next big story goal.
>>26003670
One of the bandits steps forward.
"My lord. Yerr a brave man, an no doubt. But yerr outnumbered. Worse 'an yuh see here. We don' want ta kill any of yuh, but we will."
"Just send yer lady mother out, and no one gets hurt. Hell, ah'll even fuhgive the men yuh killed."

DUN DUN DUN!
NEXT TIME: WHAT COULD THEY WANT WITH YOUR MOTHER? WHAT KIND OF ACCENT IS THAT? IS THE EYRIE OUT OF MUFFINS? AND HOW MANY MEN CAN A MADMAN MAIM, IF THE MEN MARR THE MADMAN'S MOM?
>>
>>26003816
>WHAT KIND OF ACCENT IS THAT?

Southern American?
>>
>>26003816

That poor bandit is so fucked.
>>
>>26003816

English is not my first language so reading things phonetically is kind a hard. Could someone translated for me?

In my opinion, I kept too may r's for it to be true Southern.

But then again, I'm mostly used to Virginia southern than the rest.

>>26003864
Here.

>"My lord. you're a brave man, an no doubt. But you're outnumbered. Worse then you see here. We don't want ta kill any of you, but we will."
>"Just send your lady mother out, and no one gets hurt. Hell, I'll even forgive the men you killed."
>>
The dumbest bandit ever. He knows who we are and he's still attacking us and trying to take our mom.
>>
>>26003864
"My lord. You are a brave man, an no doubt about it. But your outnumbered. Worse then you see here. We don't want to kill any of you, but we will.
Just send your lady mother out, and no one gets hurt. Hell, I will even forgive you for the men you killed.

Grew up in a place full rednecks, hillbillies, and mexicans. Wasn't too hard to figure it out so here you go anon.

I'm currently working on expanding Princely's Wealth Holdings, so there may be some new options in the future.

Kind of amazed William didn't just smash the dudes head in while he was in the middle of talking.
