Nearly 30 years go, alien invaders landed on earth. Since then, they have systematically taken hold of nearly all of Europe and Asia and reduced the global population to less than 1 billion. This threat, known as the BETA, is the greatest crisis that mankind has ever faced, and yet humanity still has yet to truly unite against them.Welcome to MuvLuv Armistice. If you're familiar with the franchise, then most of this will seem recognizable. If you're not, then don't worry if you don't know squat. Everything will be explained in time. For now, let's just start with the rules of the game.
>>26030819Rules of the GameThis game, story, quest, whatever you want to call it, mostly relies on player and reader choice to determine outcomes. Different choices lead to different results. However, there are exceptions.Chance EventsChance Events are times where luck and fate play an important role in determining the outcome. This is determined by a diceroll. Only the first of such rolls made after an Event has been selected will be accepted. Every roll is made with a number of d6s against a set difficulty. The difficulties are listed below.Difficulties Effortless: 3 Routine: 6 Simple: 9 Challenging: 12 Difficult: 15 Hard: 18 Very Hard: 21 Heroic: 24 Legendary: 27 Impossible: 30+How many d6s are rolled depends on Aspects.AspectsAspects are Jericho's talents, both in and out of his TSF. All actions are tied to a particular Aspect, which is usually (but not always) listed along with the decision choice that prompts the Chance Event. When a Chance Event occurs, a number of dice equal to the rating of the chosen Aspect are rolled. The Aspects and what they mean are listed below.
>For now, let's just start with the rules of the game.Rule Number One:>AMERICA is EVILRule Number Two>implying you can win or surviveDid I miss anything relevant?
>>26030869 MightMight represents Jericho's raw physical aptitude and constitution. It is used whenever he must exert or resist large amounts of force. Possible uses include running, jumping, swimming, attacking in close quarters, taking a hit, and moving heavy objects. AgilityAgility represents Jericho's finesse and grace. It is used whenever a large amount of coordination is involved. Possible uses include dodging attacks, making a ranged attack, palming items, avoiding detection, and various applications of acrobatics. WitWit represents Jericho's mental prowess. It is used whenever Jericho must use mind over matter. Possible uses include understanding technobabble, repairing machinery, advanced use of computers, and noticing fine details. CharmCharm represents Jericho's gravitas and social acumen. It is used whenever Jericho's ability to motivate or manipulate people is important. Possible uses include intimidation, establishing rapport, telling falsehoods, and leading troops. It may seem obvious that many of the higher difficulties will be extremely unlikely to downright impossible to achieve, which is why there is a fifth, special Aspect.
>yet another anime quest>yet another anime quest in a setting we already have a quest running inMay as well just cut to the chase and run another FSN/SW quest.
>>26030886The Fifth Aspect: FREEDOMFREEDOM (always written in All Caps) is Jericho's fifth Aspect, which allows him to do the unthinkable. It represents the spirit of America, the greatest nation ever known, flowing through him. Any time a Chance Event occurs, you can elect to channel FREEDOM into the roll, adding an additional 3d6 to its outcome. Even if this roll still fails to meet the difficulty, channeling FREEDOM mitigates the outcome of that failure. After all, America can never truly falter, can it?FREEDOM isn't FreeFREEDOM is not a static statistic like the other Aspects. Every time you choose to channel FREEDOM, you reduce Jericho's FREEDOM rating by one. Once spent, that FREEDOM is lost forever, but all is not lost. It is possible to recover Jericho's FREEDOM through several methods. Dealing with Complications: Even though it is the most powerful nation on the planet, America loves an underdog. Any time Jericho deals with the skeletons in his closet or the fallout of his own actions at serious risk to himself, he regains a point of FREEDOM. Outstanding Success: Demonstrating the superiority of America can also replenish Jericho's spirit. Any time Jericho succeeds on a Very Hard or harder difficulty Chance Event, he regains a point of FREEDOM. Tragic Failure: Like a phoenix, America rises from the ashes of even the worst defeats. Any time Jericho fails a Chance Event by 6 or more, he regains a point of FREEDOM.Note that Jericho cannot recover FREEDOM from any Chance Event in which he channeled FREEDOM.
>>26030903shush, it might be fun
>>26030906FREEDOM in Normal EventsYou can elect to channel FREEDOM even when there isn't a Chance Event happening. Choosing to channel FREEDOM on a Normal Event generally causes you to accomplish the desired action with more style and success than you would have otherwise. For example, choosing to channel FREEDOM to crawl through an air duct might make Jericho proceed faster or more quietly.Other uses for FREEDOMThere are a plethora of other, miscellaneous uses for channeling FREEDOM. This is the reserved use for the Custom Choice option. The following list is not exhaustive. Ignore Jericho's wounds or damage for a short time. Play the guitar flawlessly. Make a one-liner sound cool, no matter how bad it actually was. Ignore the effects of Jericho's Complications for a short time. Slap a Jap for extra emotional damage. Create patriotic special effects. Smite Commies for double damage 3 times per day. Consume ridiculous amounts of fast food. Summon 1d6 Bald Eagles (They must be present in the area.)The Limits of FREEDOMDue to the immense spiritual strain that retaining FREEDOM causes, Jericho can hold no more than 10 FREEDOM at a time. Having high amounts of FREEDOM tends to have some side effects including: an affinity for large birds of prey, a tendency to carry sidearms even when unnecessary, G-Bomb addiction, and jingoism. An image has been attached representing how much America per square inch Jericho is holding at each level of FREEDOM relative to other American people, objects or ideas.
>>26030906So, John Mclain the mecha anime?
>>26030903To be fair, I've hardly seen the other muvluv quest running.
>>26030958Much of the FREEDOM section was written to be silly. It is not actually necessary to be a patriotic caricature.
>>26030980To be fair, originality in quests is mostly dead so I dont know why I bother.
>>26031005That FREEDOM section always amuses me.
With the rules out of the way, we'll get to the next part. You are James Jericho, a Captain in the United States Army, and the hero of San Jacinto. It goes without saying that you're a pretty talented individual, but why don't we get to know you better? Before we begin, let's have you answer a few questions about yourself.Question 1: What is your best trait?Everybody has something they're really good at. What is your greatest asset?>Might>Agility>Wit>Charm
>>26031071>>CharmSmooth operation.Then.Now.Always, till the ends of time and beyond.
>>26031071>WitAccept no substitutes.
>>26031098We're not James Bond, get with the program.
And yet again, /tg/ picks the suave Bond expy
Wait ,guys, shouldn't we tell each other WHY we want Wit and/or Charm?
>>26031071Wit it is, then. Your razor sharp mind is second to none.Question 2: What is your weakness?Everybody has something they're not good at. Which trait are you not-so-hot at?>Might>Agility>Charm
>>26031182Not Charm, we are playing the spaghetti monster yet again.VOTE::Might
>>26031182>>26031198>>26031208While I agree with both of you, might is just as bad a selection, because not taking agility optimizes us for mecha combatI say Agility to break the stereotypes
>>26031182Might. We this guy now.
>>26031208>are not playing the spaghetti monsterFTFY
>>26031208We''re not the spaghetti monster, we're a brash, obnoxious American.CHARM IS THE WEAKNESS
>>26031198>>26031223If charm didn't affect our leading ability, I'd go for it. But we can't be a fail leader.
>>26031227Techi american who can't shoot straight and so compensates with more dakkaAgility
>>26031182Charm. We never quite got that social interaction thing
>>26031182You dont need Might when you got a mech, but you do need charm and agility to get da laydays. So Might
>>26031155>>26031150I think we're more going towards the McGyver route.>>26031182Hmm.One vote for Charm.
>>26031248Might affects your mech. There are no mech stats.
Guys, we're an American in Muv-Luv? Charm.
>>26031265Seconding this. Charm
Why does nobody want to take Agility? It'd be a proper handicap and a challenge worthy of a serious questfag.
>>26031265Thirding. Charm is our weakness.
All this samefaggery.
>>26031182Unless I counted wrong at the time I started this, I think Charm was picked. Charm it is, then. Your personality is a little grating or awkward.Question 3: Past MistakesAlright, one last question. You’re carrying some scars from your action in Operation San Jacinto, but that’s not all that’s wrong with you. Choose one of the Complications below to represent your past.Bad Reputation You’re a mean drunk, and you’ve been hauled off by the MPs more times than you can count. Somehow you made it to Captain, but this is probably as far as you’ll get promoted with your record. You can expect people to not trust you with important duties or information...at least when you’re outside of your TSF.Bad Blood This isn't your first stay in Japan. Last time you were here, you committed a serious breach of etiquette towards the scion of Kujou family, one of the five royal families of Japan, and they’re not going to forget that slight. Expect to be seen as a tactless oaf and to be shunned by the Royal Guard.Bad Break Emotional scars weren’t the only thing you got from San Jacinto. You took a serious wound in action, and it never quite healed right. You’ve gotten by through lies and bribes, but if your wound decides to act up again, it could put you at serious risk.
>>26031318Bad Blood.Somebody told us English was a shit language. We corrected him with the back of our hand.
>>26031317Antiwaifufags are out in full force today.
>>26031005We're now running Jericho as a patriotic caricature.
>>26031318Let's mix it up, Bad Break
>>26031318>Bad BreakCripples are the best mech heroes, even more so when the overcome their weakness with WILLPOWAAA!!!

>>26031459>>26031460Ugh, I despise optimization. Can't we paint nice little happy trees in strokes rather than splotches?
>>26031510Nope, minmaxers gonna minmax. Its why chargen quests always suck
>>26031318Alright, I'm pretty sure Bad Blood takes it. Although you don't remember exactly what got you on their shit list, the fact of the matter is that at least one royal family of Japan thinks you're a douchebag, and so do all their grunts.
>>26031530Man, fuck Japan's grunts. We're mother fucking Captain Jericho of the US Army, Hero of Some Mexican Name. We don't need shit from Japan except more booze and bullets.WE'RE GOING TO FREEDOM ALL OF JAPAN.

>>26031530"Arrow 3, watch your altitude!" It's Major Stevens again. He didn't need to remind you, the indicator screaming in your face is doing that well enough. You cut the power and descend. Your F-15 hits the dirt and surveys the situation. Artillery rains down from the skies in sheets, and twice as many beams of light lance up to meet them. The air is filled with clouds of heavy metal and dust. All around you, you can see Fighters swarming, circling the giant pillar in the distance. Pancho Villa, the Mobile Hive. Explosions light up the ground all around it, as it writhes and slams the ground, sending out wave upon wave of lesser monstrosities. "Arrow 3, pay attention!""Sorry, sir!""You can be sorry when you're dead! Now get to your objective!"You push on the throttle and your Eagle takes off, skimming the ground beneath you. That's right, you've got to get to the target. The launcher on your unit's shoulder holds what you hope to be the key to mankind's first victory. You just need to get closer. You're almost there..."Jericho, look out!"You turn to see a veritable wave of Tank-class BETA approaching, their massive jaws chattering in the desert air, crawling toward you on their many arms. One leaps ahead of the pack and toward you. You freeze. Your hand tries to shift the controls, but you just can't make it. All you can see are those teeth coming down around you."Jericho!"
>>26031605"Jericho, wake up!"You shake your head and lean forward. Where are you again? You look around you to see the uncomfortable seats of a transport jet, complete with a bag of stale nuts in your left hand.Ah. That's right. You've been transferred. 'Strategic Adviser to the Japanese Defense Forces', huh? The brass should have known not to send you here. Not after the last time."Jericho, you alright there?"You turn to meet your comrade in arms, Wayne Moore. He's a big guy with a thick frame and wild red hair. Honestly, he looks like a reject from the 80's, but he's been a good friend to you. >"I had a dream about San Jacinto.">"I'm alright. It's nothing.">"I'm having second thoughts about this job."
>>26031550See this? This is what makes a quest terrible.THAT ONE GUY who takes a concept way past the acceptable level and shots for a flat, one-sided stereotype of a stereotype

>>26031623>>"I'm having second thoughts about this job.""Same here. I don't even know what we're supposed to do. Hull hasn't sent me any word about it either."You shrug and collect your things. Kind of funny. Everything you own can fit in a single bag. Some private with too much time on his hands probably wrote a song about something like this by now...It takes a bit, but you make it out of the terminal and to the road. This is the Greater Tokyo Area United States Army Airstrip. You wonder what stupid acronym passes for a way to shorten that name as you look around for your ride. You don't see anything on the horizon but the vague outline of Tokyo itself. "I don't see a transport here. How are we supposed to get there? Hitchhike?""Hull's picking us up."You open your mouth to question Wayne, but as you do, you see a faint glimmer on the horizon. With a cloud of dust trailing behind it, a red flash makes its way towards you. You instinctively take a step back as it barrels past you and spins around before coming to a screeching halt. It's a fancy sports car, a Felalli maybe? The door swings open and a familiar face peeks out."Well, if it isn't Jack and Wayne! What a coincidence, right?"It's Hull alright, Daniel Hull. He's a fop, really. You sometimes wonder how he manages to feed himself when he spends all his money on the moisturizers, the hair spray, the cologne, and all those top brand clothes. However, it seems like it pays off for him; you've never heard of a time when Hull wasn't seeing at least two women.>"You're late. Did you oversleep again?">"Nice car. She's really open, so maybe I could introduce you two?"'Honey' sounds a little too dangerous for your tastes, so you politely decline. As you enter the city, you ask Hull what the job's been like."Oh it's been great. They're just going to stick you in their pilot academy and you're basically just a TA. But let me tell you, it's awesome. The entire school's practically nothing but wall to wall girls."You remind him that the only reason there are so many girls is because all the guys who should have been their boyfriends are dead."Who cares about that, right? If they're facing a population crisis, I'd be happy to help them out with that."You figure that giving Hull any more ammunition is a bad idea, so you decide to button your lip for the time being and just continue the ride in silence.

The shaking ground and the sound of whining actuators and metal on metal contact lets you know otherwise. You follow the noise, completely ignoring the main hall and swinging around to the backside of the campus. It's a sword drill exercise. You see the F-4...No, F-4Js all cleanly lined up, practicing various maneuvers in synch with each other. You're not sure that drilling proper form is actually useful to a Tactical Surface Fighter pilot, but you keep your comments to yourself as you observe the students."Oh, hello. Are you another Adviser?" You look away from the students toward the sound of the voice. It's a woman, wearing the tan uniform of the Japanese Defense Force. You look down for her name above her breast pocket. Ueno, huh?You nod and greet the woman, introducing yourself."Ah, Captain Jericho. We've been expecting you!" The woman looks both ways and then leans in close."Don't worry. We were losing our youth to fight in foreign wars, and the Imperialists just wanted to shore up our defenses and wait all this out. The Civil War broke Japan into the Empire of Japan, that's the old government, and the Independent Republic of Japan."Ueno points to herself. "That's us. The Independent Republic wants to cooperate with the United States."Obviously. Or else you wouldn't be here."Anyway, the Civil War lasted until the BETA invaded. >>26032810I'll switch to this, even though I know it's gonna be a longer explanation.INFO DUMP ME SERGEANT
Hey guys, I have a great idea! Lets circlejerk about other quests and the shitty attention whores therein!
>>26032949Knowledge is power.
>>26032924>>26032936>>26032943I love all three dearly, although I kind of dropped from SQ.
>>26032923To be fair to Paranoia-Kun, picking one topic over another when you can just as easily ask to be informed about both, especially when playing the witty character, is a type of binary trap, even if you didn't intend for it to be so.
>>26032738>>"The BETA invaded, right? How many hives are there if you're placing strategic advisers in an academy?""As of right now, there's just the Kyoto Hive. The Oshima Hive was successfully captured last year, thanks to your country's support, but the Empire of Japan lost a lot of soldiers to your G-Bombs. Our government decided that we should learn how to fight like Americans if we're going to be relying on American weapons to destroy Hives. Therefore, the Strategic Adviser Program was reinstated in order to more fully train our next generation of pilots. It makes sense, right?"You suppose that's as good of an explanation as any."Well, then. I'll just wait out here. Go in and greet the Headmaster. He's a little scary, but I think you'll get along...maybe. One day..."You face the large, double oak doors before you. Well, no sense wasting time. You open the doors in front of you and step inside. The inside of the office is incredibly spacious. Bookshelves line the walls, and a thick green carpet covers the tiled floor. There is a large window at the back of the room, and the orange glow from the sunset filters in. In front of the window is a large wooden desk, and behind that desk is a large man. Despite the silver hair and large beard, his skin doesn't show a sign of wrinkles, and his narrowed eyes look sharp. You walk inside and introduce yourself."Ah, if it isn't Captain America. I've been expecting you."You feel like you've heard this voice before, but you've never seen this man before in your life."Don't remember me? You should."He stands up from his chair and rests his hand on the pommel of his sword...wait. When did he get that sword. "I am Kujou Kakeru," he draws his sword and points the tip at you, "And I'm going to make your life hell."
>>26033171And that's all I have planned up for today.
>>26033171> "And I'm going to make your life hell.""Get in the fucking line."
>>26033171I think I'm going to enjoy this quest.>>26033185Will you be running same time next week? If so, everyone will be grateful that I'm tied up with work until 10
>>26033185So how did /tg/ play this differently than Anonkun?
>>26033171>swordHeheh, guns are better.
>>26033226I will attempt to run at the same time next week, but no promises. >>26033236Statistics were chosen differently, and there were some dialogue options which also led to different conversations. /tg/'s more aggressive, obviously.>>26033250Sssh! Don't tell him that. You'll break his japanese spirit.
>>26033236They went strong in agility, weak with might and same negative background.
>>26033250But there's more BETa than you have ammo!
>>26033283That's what they said about bison.
Nicotine break, and possibly a run to the store. I'll answer questions and take suggestions and stuff when I get back from that.
>>26033283Son, we're Murrican. We have more ammo than there're stars in the sky.
>>26033315So what you're saying is we need to go M. Bison on their ass?
>>26033264>/tg/ is more aggressive>Anonkun is passiveAnyone could have told you that.>>26033277Sounds about right.>>26033283Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never challenge an American to expend all of his ammunition"!
>>26033315Those things were not threatening
>>26033283The clear solution is to attach a scoop to one of our arms to scoop up raw materials, a smelter in our torso, and an ammunition factory on our back to manufacture ammo from our dead enemies.
>>26033369So... what I gather from this is, we need a bunch of 120mm cannons with multiple integrated magazinesAKA Flying M1A2 Abrams Squadrons
>>26033333>33333>vizzini and more dakka reference
>>26033469Swords are obviously better and more tactical
>>26033469>FlyingNot a smart idea. Otherwise you're right. That's the idea behind the Thunderbolt II
>>26033369>15 on the mohs scale>Implying mineral hardness=shatter resistance.>Implying something that was a 15 on the mohs scale wouldn't be brittle as fuck. That shit would shatter spectacularly.
>>26033514Flying for the purposes of avoiding land-bound melee, you could probably fit some clustered decoy/countermeasures onto a tomahawk two stymie those Binoc laser BETAs
>>26033369Why does that thing in the lower right have a giant vagina? Is that where it stores it's weapons or something?
>>26033541This, you don't even need special equipment to break a diamond. Just hit it moderately hard with a hammer and that shit explodes.
>>26033541Kouki can't into science.
>>26033560So, terrain-following tomahawk artillery distraction combined with jumpjet Abrams?
>>26033560Supposedly, they're pretty accurate. The best Laser Countermeasure is actually firing shells filled with heavy metal dust at them. The Laser Class shoots them down, which fills the surrounding area with metal dust. Somehow, this dissipates the Lasers somewhat. Don't think about it too hard, it's a franchise with Fighter Jets reimagined as Mechs.
When are we gonna see this TSF? Pulled it off the anonkun version.
>>26033652What. Seriously, what.
>>26033685It's FAKE SCIENCE.
>>26033685G-element is fucking weird. But yes, those lasers dude literally shoot artillery out of the air, being fancy and going airborne is a recipe for disaster.
>>26033652which is why adding a reimagined tank to the arsenal completely circumvents the author's logicThat or a Spooky
>>26033726So we dig beneath them. Simple.
>>26033726and a tomahawk on terrain-follow routes in hypothetically uneven terrain?
>>26033683About to head out to the store for a bit, but I'll answer this. Soon. That's basically what I think the Shiranui would have looked like if they had actually known about what was chosen for the Japanese Fighter program (Basically an upgraded F-16).
>>26033731Well TSF were made because hives are an absolute NIGHTMARE of tunnels and confusing terrain with so much BETA that tank literally get eaten alive.>>26033736Sure, just places mines everywhere while your at it.
>>26033749They can shoot pretty much anything out of the sky if they can get a clear shot.Ground hugging missiles DO work, however, and are part of the initial thinning assault.
>>26033736BETA own the underground. That's often where they appear from when they begin an invasion.
>>26033825Ah. Orbital bombarding stations?
>>26033789Flying tank, boss - they'd be ace at clearing anything outside of the hive and supporting the breaching units as a supplementary unit or rearguard force, where rear guard means you're in the center of a breach formation because BETA can pop out anywhere
>>26033832Lasers counter anything aerial pretty hard.
>>26033832Orbital bombardments are shot down by Laser Class. Heavy Laser Class can literally shoot things down as they reenter the atmosphere.
>>26033799>>26033835you'd need those missiles to supply troops with more ammunition - also, what are the odds you can get a tomahawk through hive tunnels that have been mapped out?
>>26033861and they have lots of lasers so saturating their firing grid with decoys won't work either, I presume... what about just seeding the aerospace theatre with decoys to distract the laser classes during engagement?
>>26033862If you've mapped it, sure. Nobody has them mapped. But the most important thing to remember is that it's fiction and all of these are just a boatload of excuses made to have GIANT ROBOTS FUCK YEAH
>>26033852>>26033861Even if we make, say, a giant laser cannon in the atmosphere? Won't work because we don't have the tech for it, right. How smart are these things, actually?
>>26033896Sorry, just trying to do GIANT ROBOTS COMBINED ARMS FUCK YEAH>>26033909from what I've read so far, smart enough to just make a bigger laser class to counter anything expensive we put into orbit that poses a threat to their operations
>>26033887Somehow, BETA know what's a real threat and what isn't. Decoys work poorly on them, and even if they worked well, the BETA have such numerical superiority that it doesn't matter.Something like 10^37 BETA exist on earth.
>>26033835>Flying tanksTank-class can jump pretty high, IIRC, and if you mean a Spooky, then that's just Laser-class bait
>>26033933what. the. fuck.That's a lot of BETA
>>26033950There are more on the moon. And even more on Mars.
>>26033909Theyre are in a very unusual palce in term of smarts. They tend to adapt, humanity were absolutely curbstomping them to oblivion than kt air supremacy when the BETA first landed, then they made the lasers to counter that.Aside from that, they are as dumb as a brick and simply rush forward without tactic, until the end of the VN where they learned how to actualyl fight, ruining humanity even more.
>>26033933> 10^37 BETAOh come the fuck on. I know this is fake science, but for fuck's sake.
>>26033933AFAIK this number was very ambiguous, it could be the number of BETA in the entire universe, or the number of Superior, we don'T know.
>>26033933That's in the universe as a whole.
>>26033970The point is that there is a lot. There are several orders of magnitude more Beta than probably anything else.
>>26033933I think that would be enough to literally blanket the surface of the Earth. Like, cannot see the ground from space, only beta.
>>26033909Maybe? There is tech that might work although I'm not sure if it has the range. Or who you could convince to make it.
>>26033945But tank-class can be defeated by installing anti-personnel weapons as a coaxial or secondary mount, I meant the jumpjets more for the Destroyers which can't be hurt by anything but a rear barrage of 36mm+ firepower
>>26033933So, hypothetically, you could easily use missiles to resupply your ranged units? Or would the laser classes just sniff out the ammo and declare it a threat?
>>26034043Sometimes launching supplies works. Sometimes it doesn't.
>>26034021Tank usually come in groups of tens. The reason why BETA wins is because of attrition more than anything else. They literally use the corpse of the dead as covers.
>>26034013I say we focus our academy on combined arms firepower. Heavy gunners wielding 120mm+ cannon and trained to switch out magazines for the target, support gunners wielding 36mm rotary cannon, and then your typical midrange/melee skirmishers using whatever means necessary to keep the main BETA force from swarming gunner positions while the gunners thin out and mop up sections of the BETA swarm and support their skirmishersmeanwhile we see what we can do about getting russian or america missile boats, maybe even an armory ship, to support combat zones with clustered flechette kinetic warhead decoys and resupply containersthoughts?
>>26034151This is the usual method of squad actually, some nations focus more on melee than others obviously, but that's how they tend to do it,
>>26034084Right, but they die to anti-personnel weaponry, isn't there enough room to leapfrog backwards while using secondary arms against them?As for cover clearing, arm your support and melee units with thermobaric and/or napalm warheads
Biological weapons wouldn't work, would they? These things would just adapt to them and possibly get some ideas.
>>26034175>tfw everything you can think of is the option they're using and losing withWell, fuck. If the author literally wrote everything I just came up with and we're still losing. I mean, just fuck.
>>26034257I guess it's one of those "humanity is boned, the horror" stories.Unless we drop some insane magic hoodoo out of nowhere, we're toast.
>>26034175Those 120mm ammo loads are really fucking small. Especially considering how versatile the bore can be.
>>26034190It'll depend on the terrain, but your strategy is sound, tank die easy but there's a fucking ton of them, they're usually the bane of Storm Vanguard too because those fuckers are tenacious. >>26034228Each BETA has significantly different biology, you'd need to make a special virus for each strain.
>>26034320Well, since they're more or less the game-winner against everything but a Destroyer's front side, I can see why the author pussed out and went with the more honolabu swordfighting.Given the fact that even limited aerial maneuvering should only be used to (re)deploy and dodge melee engagements, it should be feasible enough for the dedicated 120mm platforms to triple or even quadruple their munitions capacity. Same goes for the 36mm rotaries.
>>26034428This. We use more dakka.
>>26034428>>26034488Let's just hope you don't plan to infiltrate a hive
Are these things clever/sensitive enough to detect mines? Because FASCAM rounds seem like a solid option. most of these things have weak footing by the look of it.
>>26034348What's wrong with the thinking in your pic? Seems perfectly reasonable to me.
>>26035513Nothing wrong at all. Walken was too good for this world.
>>26035460It would likely be rendered ineffective after 19 days.
Sounds like a fun quest, thanks for running.
>>26034348On one hand, ML is pretty racist, on the other hand... there's this. It's as if Kouki has some grudging respect for the US.
>>26046995It's more like he doesn't like U.S. foreign policy (most don't, including Americans) but thinks that individual Americans are pretty cool dudes for the most part. Remember that the United States actually keeps a pretty short leash on Japan as far as anything military goes. It wouldn't be a big exaggeration to say that America runs the SDF
>>26031525It kinda seems to be working out though.
Next thread when?
>>26049853Probably once OP has run his Anonkun session.
