So, since our last thread self-destructed, here's what I've taken from everyone's criticism so far.

A) You want to play as someone other than an established Bat character. No alternate universe nonsense will suffice, it must be someone entirely new.

B) Some of you just don't want to play in anything even related to Batman. To those of you I pose the question: would a Quest set in Middle-Earth interest you more? That's another thing I've been considering lately.

C) You want to build up your character and have your choices affect the world around you. I've already tried to do some of this with the inclusion of a stat sheet and gear, but I understand I could go much further. Experience points, a network of allies, etc etc

Anything I'm missing?
>>
>>26316295
>would a Quest set in Middle-Earth interest you more?

Honestly, I'd prefer something in a unique setting. There are far too many quests where you're in an established setting.
I'd probably take a look at it, though I didn't for Batman, but I'd prefer something new.
>>
>>26316295
You are sort of getting it. Here are my thoughts.

A) Would be fun if we played as Bruce Wayne right off the plane, then seeing just how different our universe became from the canon would be fun. We would make our own events, some new enemies some classic things like that.

B) Too vague, you don't really seem to have a firm idea and just throw out ideas and hope you make the magical combination of words. Setting is not as important as how you write. Having a firm idea, making characters interesting, and being able to have at least one or two parts of story telling you are really good at (Combat porn, artful descriptions, well timed and executed twists, etc.) are fundamentally more important and seem to be something you are lacking.

C) Yes, I want what we do to have some effect, but I don't think you get it still. Having what we do effecting the world around us doesn't mean getting experience points. It means effecting other characters, changing the world(Maybe investments cause certain parts of the city to thrive while forcing others to become cess pools) Making the public opinion of the character change based on what happened in past threads, such as making NPCs more afraid or less afraid, some actions will call for such a loss of the public trust the police start working against you, etc.

Polite sage for weekday QTG and the shameful OP.
>>
>>26316295
I would also like to bring Terry back up as a prospective Quest in the future. Maybe change up his setting a little based on what happens in this current quest. Again, just a suggestion for the future.
>>
>>26316295
B: Honestly, I'm not even a Batman fan (and I *am* a LotR fan) but I'd prefer something set in some variant of the Batman set-up than Middle Earth. Even if it's just "Random Gotham Citizen #25,256 Quest", that seems like it has a lot of potential.

C) XP is a bad idea unless it's meaningless. Allies are always fun!
>>
>>26316295
Why not just play as a new batman, after the last one got old and died abruptly? Then have the new character have to deal with stepping into the shoes of the old one, as well as all of his own issues.

>quest in another world

There's another setting where a stealth-oriented hero isn't afraid of mixing things up in hand to hand combat, using weird items and gadgets or fighting kooky themed enemies that no one's tried yet.

I'd shy away from Middle Earth, though I'd be interested to see how it could work.

I'd play a batman beyond quest.
>>
>>26318641
I would play that as well. Which QM would be good at bad ends?
>>
>>26316295

I have to say:

Your quest is of exceedingly high quality. Seriously, it's really, really good. However, I would guess that the main reason why it isn't more popular is because it's also very, very intimidating.

It's slightly hard to get into the mindset of an established character...However, don't consider that a bad thing, necessarily. You do Batman better than anyone I've seen do 'Batman' before.

So yeah, consider this a big thumbs-up on my part. If you wanted to draw more people, you'd probably have to go with a Quest that has inherently more mass appeal...But I think you're doing an amazing job with what you have so far.

I like what I've seen, and I hope you'd keep it up - But I also understand if you want to draw in a bigger audience.

I'm struggling to describe this, but I feel that /tg/ usually wants a protagonist they can project themselves on. The way the main character of Joker Quest is (mostly) a blank slate, despite his backstory: There's no worry about having to stay 'in character', because his personality is what anyone makes of him.

With Batman, you naturally want to stay as Batman as possible.
>>

Honestly, I'm glad he's slowing down a bit.

Risked burning out the way he was going.

Now ideally the story itself might draw things out a bit as well, since a lot of things are going to start happening really really fast, and while I can appreciate him wanting to finish the quest before Kubo finishes the manga, I don't really want it to end before Kubo's hiatus does.
>>
>>26318938
It's been 2 days I thought.
>>
>>26318938

It tends to run for hours upon hours when it does run, doesn't it? Maybe the QM just needs a break. Or the Beyond People that haunt this world, ravenous for new tales, have taken him to the same shadowy realm that swallowed HPQuest, Femcock and dozens upon dozens of other disappeared QMs. Wherever they may be, we can only hope they are well, and that eventually the Beyond People see fit to let them have the internet again.

Still, the fact remains that within the quest itself, the only time we actually pursued someone romantically was when we flirted with Rukia way back when.

The only reason we got into the current relationship is the two girls invited us into a small room and locked the door behind us.

I've been thinking about it, but to give it that real "metal gear" vibe I need to include long bits of writefagging, and that takes time.

The problem isn't the two female leads (Momo and Orihime, while unconventional, could have worked well.)

but throw in some cute female Hollows (harribel and the Three Beasts), and now everyone's getting waifu-mad over moe arrancar and such bullshit.

I appreciate having allies in it, I really do. just stop fapping behind the screen whenever they're describes, faggots!

I seriously hope they either betray the party or get ganked; it's lead to something other than the waifuing
>>
>>26320457
A writing teacher of mine suggested going to a public place, like a coffee shop, and listen in on the conversations, to pick up the rhythms of speech. Try and write out a dialog or two, based on what you've learned.

Alternately, watch a lot of movies focused on character interaction (romcoms and Taratino are a weird but effective blend)

To answer that guy asking about another Batman Quest, we really don't need it. I always found the idea of roleplaying Batman kinda dumb. Controlling him in a videogame, sure, but trying to BE the Batman just strikes me as...stupid. Don't know why. there's nothing wrong with 'fan fiction' or a 'ripoff' (your words) if it's done well and entertaining. Quests aren't high literature, they don't need to be 'original' or even well written all they need to do is entertain.

See, the 40k universe is far vaster and can fit a lot more, and Boone Quest has original characters. Compare to Bleach Quest, in which the players are playing Ichigo, following the main plot line of Bleach fighting Aizen, except faster.

One is clearly more original than the other here.
>>
>>26321699
Yup. Guess why I'm still here?
>>
>>26320859
>Sometimes they try to just be set in the same universe
And when they don't even try that they rape the setting and butcher the characters to hell and back.

Strike Witches and Girls und Panzer are clear examples.
>>
>>26321585
I'm not that anon, but there are a lot of things wrong with ripoff quests. They're lazy, most of them tend to use the same characters or plots from the actual thing they're ripping off.
I mean, if you want something exactly like something in an established setting, then fucking READ THE BOOK/COMIC/MANGO/ WATCH THE SHOW/MOVIE/ANIMU. They always tend to be the same exact thing!
>>
>>26321770
Being more original than Bleach Quest isn't that original. Nor is either of them bad because they aren't original.
>>
>>26321585
Fuck you, Commissar Quest is leagues ahead of most quests.

And its funny you should single out 40K when the setting is literally built from the ground up for roleplaying in and expansive enough for you to destroy entire solar systems without upsetting the lore.

Next time, try choosing a setting that doesnt just have one, but 5 different roleplaying games made for it, not even taking into account all the different wargame subvariants it has like Necromunda, Space Hulk, Gorkamorka, etc.

FTFY. And the answer is that 40k is (arguably?) the dominant presence on /tg/. The questfags in question probably assume that their detractors are worried about maintaining their grip on the board, when that most likely couldn't be further from the truth.

But thats not what he said at all. We are comparing the scope of settings and how much the quest in question fucks with the lore/canon of the series/setting at hand.

Boone Quest and Commissar Quest, for example, has you roleplaying as wholly original characters doing their own thing in wholly original corners of the 40K setting, a setting literally built with roleplay in mind.

Bleach Quest, on the other hand, has you roleplaying as the MC of a rather restrictive anime setting, one designed to tell a single story at that.

>>26322087
I build fluff, write crunch, keep track of niggling little details, and basically do all the unfun tedium, because that's the stuff that's fun to me. The writer would be responsible mainly for, well, the part that's usually regarded as fun: namely the writing and interacting with the players.
>>
>>26321903
A lot of the arguments used against quests also apply to 40k, mostly the prevalence on the board and the front page (When it was relevant) and their butting into unrelated threads. So some people started comparing them as a counter to those arguments, which was then magnified to an "Us vs. Them" mentality
>>
We interrupt this QTG to bring you a special announcement from Lord Licorice.

>I realize there are a number of people that really despise quest threads, and after cleaning literally hundreds of non-starters out of the archives, I can certainly see where you're coming from. However, by mis-archiving quests with shitty labels, you're only serving to accomplish two things: one, you're taking all of thirty seconds out of my day to fix the tags, and two, you're training quest creators to immediately archive their threads to avoid mis-labeling, which just exacerbates the issue. Post-It Quest is a prime example, it had all of twenty replies, but was archived as soon as the author could refresh 4chan after posting it. The only way you're going to stop quest threads on /tg/ is to stem the tide at the source. Shitting up the archive isn't helping anyone's cause. For the record, I am not, have never been, and, saints preserve me, will never be a janitor or moderator on 4chan. I have no power, authority or influence to stop quest threads from existing on /tg/; I'm just an archivist. By definition, by the time it reaches me, it's already too late. You're going to need to change the community's mind, and that can't be done with goofy labeling.
>>
>>26322115
>restrictive anime setting

>>
>>26322114

There's almost always as many or more 40k threads as quest threads. For that matter, there's probably more MtG threads than quest threads on average.

I'm a part of MercWorld, though I should probably write some more stuff but I've been busy today and yesterday, but I am a part of it.

If someone wants to run a MercWorld quest they should feel free to. It's a setting, it's meant to be used, to provide a place for GMs/QMs and Players to set their adventures and have fun with. I like the setting we've made so far, though I'm obviously baised as I see my own work in it. If someone wants to run it on IRC with the Fate Module they should go right ahead, someone wants to run it tabletop with their friends, that's not my problem. Hell, I'd follow a MercWorld quest if it happened and it was well written.

well, I have no proof, but I think Lamia quest did.
Before, it was all 12-18ish votes, with the occasional one breeching 20.
Then a couple days ago, all the ones under 20 suddenly jumped up to exactly 20.
I would have been happy about it, since I quite enjoy the quest, but I am almost certain they are not actual people votes, which ruins it.

Of course, I could just be paranoid. People have called me that repeatedly on these generals.

What? If -most- people were doing upvotebots, there would be many, MANY more upvotes.
I'm just upset that we gathered one of the few guys running an upvote bot. I know some people were downspamming the quest, but that's no reason to further make pointless the votes with an upvoter.
Whatever happened to reading a thing, then giving it a vote based on how you felt?

Shadow Quest is a popular quest. It gets around 20 votes a thread with a few really good ones breaching 30 and two that reached 50. SM's twitter also has 49 followers, which means that there is at least 49 people who play his quest but there's probably more(I don't follow his twitter for example, just keep the page open in a tab).

So, the possibility of a Metal Gear Solid quest was raised earlier, so I wrote the kind of MGS info-dump intro that would be required to make it feel like an entry in the franchise. It's set in early 1972, during the time when early Militaires Sans Frontiers operations were just starting. I'd like to see if it "works".

After the end of World War Two, the world was split into two: east and west.

This marked the beginning of the era known as the Cold War.

The term was coined by George Orwell in 1945 to describe an epoch of “horribly stable” nuclear stalemate, with the constant looming threat of Armageddon preventing the major powers from open warfare.

What he neglected to mention was that such a stalemate never meant peace.

Barely five years after the treaty was signed with Japan, North Korea and its Communist-backed army poured across the border into South Korea. Between 1950 and 1953, almost one million South Korean civilians and around three quarters of a million allied soldiers became casualties. An unknown number of North Koreans and Chinese joined them, with some figures as high as four million. The Soviets were involved in supplying weapons, experts, and fighter pilots. Everyone at the Pentagon knew it. They could tell by the Russian radio-chatter.

And there were no consequences.

The Americans suffered embarrassment after embarrassment. In 1960, a U2 was shot down over Soviet Airspace. In 1961, an invasion of Cuba by CIA-backed counter-revolutionaries ended in the Bay of Pigs fiasco. That same year, Soviet scientists tested the Tsar Bomba, the largest atomic weapon detonated to date. In 1962, the USSR and US teetered on the brink of global thermonuclear warfare over a Soviet shipment of missiles and warheads to Cuba. Human civilization itself was threatened by political maneuvering and brinksmanship.

Hmm. Would it be okay if this was alternated with the mundane and grey unpleasant real world that rejects him?

The Lone Voter is a hero in the cyberwastes, his partner, the Misarchivist the only one that he could call friend, in both worlds. Then, he disappeared. The Lone Voter fights on, knowing his friend is dead, but fights on in vain to avenge his only comrade that never even knew his name. With intermissions across this crusade showing the Lone Voter's miserable life in meat space.

Brushfire wars and revolutions raged through the decades in Laos, Angola, the Himalayas, Korea, India and Pakistan, Rhodesia, Libya, South Africa, the Middle East, and Cambodia. The war in Vietnam has raged for years, and the US government has been officially involved since the Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964.

Clemeceau once said that “war is too important to be left to the generals”. But after 25 years of this “Cold War”, you finally realized that he only ever had half the truth. War is undeniably too important to be left to the generals, but it's also too important to be left to the politicians, and to the civilians. None of them knew war the way a soldier knows war. The way YOU know war.

And that's why, in 1972, you took the gamble of joining a certain group of elite soldiers in the jungles of South America, led by a living legend...

I dont have the patience or writing pace to quest. If anything, I would just writefag in the honor of your fallen friend.
>>
>>26323811
Okay, I'm down.

Questers- should the Lone Voter strive against them? Or to prevent too much controversy, should he solely strive against the Tyrant Licorice?

On the one hand, it'd be hilarious for the Lone Voter to fight pastiches of famous QMs. On the other hand, that may lead to butthurt.
>>
>>26323863
what I'm saying is: get a good quest picture.

You'll need it.

He should be striving against quests and questors.

As to the QMs go to #Ques/tg/enerals and ask the QMs there if they'd be okay if the Lone Voter fought them. There are a few that'd probably be okay with it.
>>
>>26323922
>>26323883

>>
>>26323911
He uncovers the terrible truth! The dread technomancy- what can one vote do against their mechanical vote swarms?
>>
>>26323883
The lone voter pities questers, and sees QMs as evil dictators, quests are the opiates of the masses, and QMs are like giant corrupt corporations. Licorice is the corrupt government allowing them to maintain their imbalance of power.
>>
>>26323878
Actually, I have plans for the Big Boss to be involved in the very first thread.
>>
>>26323868
Is it really though? I mean, his meddling has caused such a deep ripple in your community that you are erecting monuments in honor/dishonor of him. Thats more accolade than any QM will ever get.

Besides, he knew enough about most quests to properly misarchive them and I think there was at least two misarchivers out there, the one who just fucked with the name and description but included the right tags and the one who was just a dick.
>>
>>26323863
Why should anyone take the time to read, process, and remember all that when they have no idea if your quest will actually be good?

The fact that you didn't realize that 400 words of introductory text, and that you're already pointing the finger at /tg/ instead of adapting, are huge warning signs.

The Lone Voter is out to destroy Waifus, high level lieutenants of QMs. No time for love. Only voting.

Every QM insists that their Quest is different, but the Lone Voter knows- doesn't matter the package, it's still 'waifu' and the effects are the same on the poor masses.
>>
>>26324028
QMs are drug lords. Questers are junkies. Licorice is the corrupt government official who's secretly controlling it's production.
>>
>>26324046
>>26324047
A boss fight is white knight waifufag. He knows that the girl of his dreams is just a hallucination, but he doesn't care. His love is still real. He is an honorable warrior.

>>
>>26324089
Yes!

Also, there needs to be 'Haremend,' a zoned out combat druggy that has the constitution to be on seven different varieties of Waifu at once. Do you have him and White Knight duke it out to weaken the two, or do you fight them separately in fear of the strength that the survivor would have?
>>
>>26324084
I think its more like corporate issued soma for the wage slaves.
>>
>>26324089
That's the first boss. After that they become relatively weak as we level up and move on to the real villains: the QMs who deal it, and finally Licorice the manufacturer himself.
>>
>>26324137
Like Ravage in Spider-Man 2099? So licorice is a CEO?
>>
>>26324166
of course licorice runs a sinister and greedy corporation
>>
The Lone Voter has to be smart to beat these questers. They don't play fair. They keep those dice rolling and rolling and rolling, until they get a 20. You gotta hit them fast, before they get that 20. Only good thing about it is that they get so distracted and enamored of the numbers that blink up as they pull that lever. But if they get that 20? Oh man, there's no stopping them. It doesn't have to make sense- cut off their arms, feed 'em in to an Autosage, >imply them through the heart, if they get that 20, it's over.
>>
>>26324140
In Cyberpunk, the Lieutenants are often more dangerous than the actual boss. Therefore, White Knight Waifufag is the last barrier between you and the Quest Syndicate CEO.

He faces you on equal terms, not bothering to dodge or parry any blow. Whereas he used to be filled with fear and uncertainty in daily life, with his Waifu, he's not afraid of anything anymore.
>>
>>26324177
So the QMs run subsidiary corporations. They all claim to sell different products but we know they're all the same thing with a different label. What are Civ fags though?

>>26324269
The Waifu drug is a hallucinatory agent. You envision your ideal mate, who loves and adores you. To you, it's as real as it can be. White Knight Waifufag knew that his waifu was just a hallucination, an illusion, but he still loved her. Even if his love was fake, he has no regrets.
>>

>>26324297
Because you have elevated your trolls to gods.
>>
>>26324228
That's the big reveal when the Lone Voter realizes the enormity of the plot he's facing.

"'Waifu'? Please, that's just a start. A convenient step ladder. Oh, Lone Voter. Didn't you wonder why your former friend, the 'Misarchivist' did what he did? He saw the future, Lone Voter. The future where 'one man, one vote,' gets thrown in to the garbage like the trite truism it used to be. Welcome to the future, Lone Voter."

With a tap at his keyboard, Lone Voter saw the score suddenly changed from -2, to +22. Mr. Garrote leaned back, and grinned, as behind him, the doors slid open, revealing stainless steel smiling abominations.

"One man. TWENTY votes."
>>
>>26324324
Yep. Haremhead is the slang term for a Waifu junkie.
>>
>>26324329
If you consider robin hood a god, sure.

More like we folk-tale-ized them.
>>
>>26324314
I heard that the Misarchiver once rallied together troops from /pol/ to take down an entire Quest!
>>
>>26323960
>>26323998
The entire point to posting the infodump was to gauge reaction, and that reaction was a near-unanimous "OHMYGODTOOMANYWORDS". There's no "finger-pointing" involved. That reaction was the point of the exercise, and I only responded to try and confirm the conclusion that trying to channel Kojima in the background and intro didn't work.

I haven't "adapted" yet because I've had to go back to square one storytelling-wise.

So if you have something constructive to add, by all means, let's hear it. Otherwise I'll just tick that off as a vote against and call it a night.

>>
>>26324372
Ahhhh sheeeeet. Moral crisis moment.

Will the Lone Voter sink to the level of the QMs, and build a bot army of his own?
>>
>>26324333
I think some should already be in existence, but mass marketing them has been all but impossible until this point. Unfortunately, the chaos LV has created has allowed LL & Friends to kick up production of the Upbots for these clearly drastic times.

Think Boomers from Bubblegum Crisis.
>>
>>26324382
I think they will be remembered much longer than the average quest.
>>
>>26324405
Eventually, LV manages to capture one, and turn it into a Downbot.
>>
>>26324412
Well, most concepts made on the QTGs get remembered by the QTGs longer.

I don't see what your point is, really. They'll both be forgotten other than their archive and occasionally musing fan discussion.

And I actively DON'T discuss quests I like, so as to not be an advertising schill.
>>
>>26324405
The Misarchivist knew. That's why he went full terrorist, misarchiving threads- it was the only way to stop the upbots! The Lone Voter still believed in Suptagge, still believed in the promise held in its pristine archives of the olden years, and was appalled by the Misarchivist's deeds. If only they had talked to one another, the Misarchivist might have been able to tell the Lone Voter the full threat facing them.
>>
>>26324389
>the only way to stop it, is to give every man 20 votes
>If every man has 20 votes, then no man has 20 votes
We create out own army as a façade, our true intention was to destroy all the bots all along.
>>
>>26324441
In his darkest hour, LV does what he promised he never would. He misarchives threads. Now he has to deal with both QMs AND the Mods trying to stop him. His realizes there are no easy ways out in this world.
>>
>>26324351
Sorry, sorry. I didn't mean to sound so caustic, but the post I was responding to came across as rather aggressive, as well.

I'm just saying that you shouldn't be surprised that /tg/ doesn't want to read a random infodump right off the bat. We're lazy until we're hooked.
>>
>>26324489
And the mods are basically judges.

>>26324500

SUPTG'S SLEEPING LIKE A SOLDIER TRAPPED INSIDE AN IRON LUNG

>>26324520
Questers will beat the hell out of you. Smarts, but you'll live. A QM will break your fingers, keep you from posting for days on end, but give it time, find a place to lay low, you'll recover.

But a mod? You catch the wrong side of a mod, and it's all over for you. And lemme tell you, Lord Licorice? He's the mod of the mods. You don't even think of breathing his name, unless you're tired of fighting, and feel like dying painful. No coming back from Lord Licorice's hammer.
>>
>>26323908
Well, you seem to be the only one.
>>
>>26324578

>>26324606
Yeah. Questers can be good and bad, but usually it's because they're jonesing for a dose of W that they do what they do. It's not really their fault- a Quester upvotes at you, you downvote right back at them.

But to misarchive a whole thread of them? Hell, it's not their fault. Waifu is real tempting these days, with the state of The Gee. Doing that is indiscriminate violence. Sure, LL can put things back together, but that's only if you're in TIGHT with him- and you know what a QM's gotta do to get HIS favor.

Not to mention, it breaks the sacred reason why the Archive was created in the first place. You do that, you're setting a bad precedent. Sure, the order's corrupted nowadays, but do you really want to burn it at all to the ground, when it has such good foundations?

Lone Voter is tempted to.
>>
>>26324649
Hah, the Downvote Duo are Emmanuel Goldstein for QM's Two Minute Hate. I like it.

"You all said I was the reason that QM's went missing in the night! You always laid the blame on me and my friend! But it was never us, it was always you! But fuck you, if you want me to be your boogeyman, I might as well start acting like it!"

Cue QMs getting bumped off in Quest/Story/whatever.

Does anybody intend to run this? Claim it now, or forever hold your peace.
>>
>>26324705
Lone Voter may have to. Whether it is creating downbots to mow down the masses or misarchiving and taking them all at once, sacrifices will be made. In both morality and blood, sacrifices will be made.

After Patriotic War, world was in two: east and west.

Mark beginning of Cold War, why not.

Okay, so, the Lone Voter acts alone as a vigilante against the power of the Licorice Lord's corporation, and his Waifu distributing flunkies. The Lone Voter in the old days ran with the Misarchivist- who was killed permanently by the Licorice Lord as a demonstration of what happens to those that defy the new order. The Lone Voter had started to drift away from the Misarchivist as he grew more extreme, and was growing disillusioned with the fight. The Misarchivist's brutal death shocked the Lone Voter, and the final, damaged, mysterious video tape that the Misarchivist sent the Lone Voter hinted at something terrible out there- worse even than the Waifu that was choking the life from the streets of The Gee.

The Lone Voter rides again, this time against the comfortable and lazy Quest Masters, each reclining in comfort upon their throne of ill gotten goods, and scheming against one another. The Lone Voter fights first the only way he knows how, giving his singular downvotes against the unstoppable Quest hordes, but soon finds that that's not enough. He starts taking more drastic actions, trying to find the source of Waifu, encountering the fearsome "White Knight", and "Harem End," enemies both twisted by the drug to the point where they're unrecognizable as anons. Along the way, he uncovers a conspiracy to bring in mercenary armies from the Eastern A, the decadent Dee cults, and the deployment of the fearsome Upbots.

Can the Lone Voter turn the tide of history? Can one man's vote defeat the votes of twenty machines? Will the anons of The Gee finally rise from their stupor, and fight for the dignity of the board? Will the Lone Voter be able to stand against the dread Licorice Lord, and avenge his once friend, the Misarchivist? Will the Lone Voter follow down the path of madness and terrorism that the Misarchivist went down?

All these questions, and more, will be answered in the Lone Voter's Sage, a trilogy coming out probably never.

>The Lone Voter realizes where all the Waifu in The Gee is coming from.
>LV needs to infiltrate Suptagge Corp.
>Security has been stepped up after the Misarchivist, and subsequently LV's campaigns against the Quests.
>There's no way for LV to get in without being instantly fried as himself.
>He has to have a disguise, a good one.

The Lone Voter has to start a successful quest to slip in with the archive.

And that quest, my friends, shall be ours. That is where we'll start.

OH GOD THE METARECURSION.

That's the Lone Voter's private Hell, isn't it? He wants to defeat the quests. But the quests are too strong. So, he becomes everything he hates, bit by bit. And then, the final bridge to jump? To become one of them. One of the quest masters. So, what will his quest be about? Write what you know. About a man that crusades against the quests, becomes everything he hates, and then to finish it all, make all the blood and tears worth it, has to start a quest to finish his revenge. What will the quest be about? Well, write what you know. About a man who fights the quests, and to defeat the quests, must start a quest. About what? Write what you know. About a man who must defeat the quests, by making a quest. About what?

On, and on, and on, a never ending loop, until finally-

Joke Boss: AC-Guy

He's the recurring miniboss who's cursed with bad luck.

Hype him up as a big battle- when a neon sign crashes down on him, putting him into traction.

Again.

And then a moose attacks for no particular reason.
>>
>>26326540
Oooh, hive mind. Nice idea.

>>26326543
The Lone Voter goes to fight him, but AC-Guy has already managed to get his scrotum caught on a curtain hook before he gets there.

Also, for some reason, I'm imagining the Lone Voter as being very similar to the kid. Quiet, single minded, every characterization only introduced by narrator.

tale cannot be killed, and once the SUFFERING has built up in a particular victim they mutate into a grotesque imitation of her, being driven to exude Waifu through their pores which in turn creates more spawn.

Colossal Fagot. Fallen 40k drawfag.

Weaver. The chthonic start of the Quest cancer, and ancient god of hellish deviancy and awfulness. Banished to distant tgchan in ages past. A quest creature, not to be trusted, but one aligned against the questers that currently rule /tg/. Is the enemy of my enemy my friend?
