Also, Alice has shown that she knows stuff she shouldn't. She may seem mad, but she's clever, knowledgeable, and seems to have her own agenda that doesn't line up perfectly with Adam's. She's a wildcard in the Noah with plenty of free time and resources to pursue her own goals and because of her position in the family and her madness nobody digs too deep into what she's actually doing, and she'd needed for the family to function in a war due to her transport abilities so they can't really stop her even if they did know what she was up to.

Alice bows graciously upon her little black cloud," Why thank you, thank you! I only show my very best for family after all!" She shifts her eyes and puts a hand over her mouth as she mumbles," Well, the exciting ones at least.."

You actually chuckle a little at that.. More at the entire situation.. Aid from such a fickle Noah.. Aid from a fickle member of your other family.. Oh.. How will you explain this to the rest of them.. The smell of your dark bread begins to drift upon the air.. A proper set of Binding Baguettes, Bouncer Bread, and Rampart Russian. Three of each and the entire tree is gone.

Balancing the loaves precariously, you turn towards Alice whom begins to clap her hands with giddy anticipation," Another surprise! Quick, quick throw them to the ground! I'll open up a few rabbit holes to catch them!"

You're hesitant a moment.. To throw your creations of love upon the ground.. your dear bread.. Your refusal shows clearly upon your face, and the girl comments on it,"Come one, come on! throw it to the ground! do it!" She cheers, almost too happy with this whole thing..

You finally close your eyes and throw the bread to the ground...

Opening them slowly you see that all the bread lies in the snow, growing cold and wet at the same time.
Alice laughs at you again like a lunatic," Surprise! I LOVE surprises! I love them for others too!"

You glower down at the bread, biting at your own lip in subtle frustration at this little turn of events," I'm not making any more..." You mumble with a small amount of anger.
Alice stops laughing and hops off of her cloud.
"What? No. Oh please no. Please no. If you don't make me more bread I'll.. I'll die! I'll just die!" She gets down on her knees, and brings her hands together to beg," Oh please, please, please make more more bread! I'm so sorry! I'm SO sorry Bondomu!"

You fold your arms and look away, causing her to fall to her knees to beg further," Please.. I'll die so much.. I'll.. I'll.. " She looks up.

You finally turn back to look at her directly, and she's back up, clearing hear throat, and starting to throw a few bows out to an invisible audience.

You throw a palm into your face and then she's gone..

So duke, I'm forming a plot in my mind now about how to free Bondomu, power ourselves up, and maybe allow the creation of more Akuma. Here's the abridged version since I'm on my phone.

-acquire extra souls for extra processing power, via either merging with L1s or eating despairing souls, more on that when I'm home from Work.

-once we have the power to support ourselves, make a blank akuma and transfer the souls of Claire and Jacob into them

--either destroy the newly made akuma or trick an exorcist into purifying the souls, freeing BBondomu to reincarnate again

ddepending on how that works out, maybe place one soul from our new "cloud processor" into the empty shells, and bam new L1 Akuma

still needs some ironing out, but it may work.

She nods, sitting on top of you," Uh, huh. We've been incarnated lots of times! Lots, and lots! You were alone until I found you waking up..." She touches your forehead, a cross-shaped hole there. Only now do you realize how much it hurts, she pulls her finger out of it.
"I was alone until the Doctor found me.. Maashiima was alone until the Doctor found him.. Morgan was alone until you found her.. and you.." She looks over to where Madeleine's coming through, dragging an entire tree with a partially transformed arm and a gold and black gauntlet stabbed into it, dragging it effortlessly with one hand.

It's because we were going to towns where the Crimson were stationed (it's not an absolute guarantee that Exorcists would be there as well, but as was indicated before, it IS a higher possibility). Our first town, Temes, had no Crimson stationed at it and Exorcists only visited it after receiving rumors of monsters hunting people outside Temes' walls.

If we can get out of the Crimsons' influence, we're more likely to encounter less Exorcists.

To be honest Alice is far more valuable than Maashiima. She's the second most important member of the Noah Family, and likely more independent from Adam than any of the others, except us. I'd put Morgan at third given how Skulls are going to really change the game, losing out on Maashiima liking us is a small price to pay to have those two like us.

For what it's worth, it seems that this curse is entirely based around the accumulation and dispersal of mana via.. unnatural means. It seems that to recreate this phenomenon, you'd need to apply a curse that did the exact same thing.. Hell.. You'd need to figure out how exactly a curse is placed.. Your internal data shows no knowledge of the sort, and even Morgan seemed surprise at the whole event.. This means.. An Akuma curse is exceedingly rare..

So we could investigate that type of spellwork.

Using our only example from the canon, the curse was from a basic Akuma, not a Noah. So while we could probably apply our Creation Engine in this situation, the cursing is based in our Akuma body. A body which is powered by a tormented, agonized soul. Mana curses Allen in the series out of rage and anguish. I think the root of the curse would be the dark emotions and tortured soul that powers us.

As did Fonso's father cut Fonso as part of the curse. So the Blood Oil may very well be a part of it.

This makes sense because I think the Blood Oil is a byproduct of their Dark Matter hearts and thus is a transfer mechanism of Dark Matter, which usually kills people. But somehow the curse gives them some level of control over the Dark Matter/Energy.

The manipulation of Dark Matter as I noted earlier while it's part of pretty much every special ability of Akuma and Noah, it's very well shown in our oven which forms actual matter using Dark Matter/Energy.

Don't rush into sticking stuff into him, if we fuck up we might end up with a corpse which is useless to us.

First, run our Manameter and see if there are any changes in ambient Mana when we bake things in our oven.

Then, run our ideas past Madeleine, get her take on things. See if she can tell us how it feels to manipulate and use Innocence, that could give us a better understanding of this.

We know from what Morgan said that he has Dark Matter infused within his body, we also know that he was scratched by his father, which would indicate some level of Blood-Oil involvement in the procedure. We may need to do both, put in some Blood-Oil and infused Dark Matter in a manner to replicate how talismans work.

We know that talismans draw mana in, take a look at talisman design and compare it to the workings of his hand.

Ask Schwere what exactly a "totem" is, she said his arm was like a living totem, we should know more about that before we shove stuff into it.
