Your name is Hairy McTerrorcastle. You are a student at the Fifth Circle Academy, specialising in the School of Summoning under the buxom and bouncy Magister Pythianne.

Your adventure has seen you talk to Imps, watch a man walk through a table, meet a strange and possibly dangerous otherwordly being, enter the whimsical land that is the Academy Archives. You were invited to an experiment with Pythianne, but before that, there was the issue of a strange letter given to you and Jaqul.

After joining up with the odd and strange 'Fifth Circle' who claim to be the source of the Academy's name, and seek to nurture Magic, you went off to get some rest for tomorrow's experiment.

The experiment, you think, was a smashing success. Not only did you reach the Entropic Plane and encounter a new entity, you made him(It?) your friend! After dancing with him, and promising him he'll never be lonely again and that you'll never forget him, he seemed to take on a more physical form.

With the knowledge he granted you, you learned that the Entropic Plane is the Plane of 'Forgotten things'. Exerting your will, you manage to cause some sort of portal to another part of the Plane, where you met up with Pythianne.

Declaring your love for her in passing, she informed you that the experiment was over and it was time to go - you returned to the real world, but not without learning how to summon your new friend, 'Oblitus Luna'.
>>
The familiar pull of leaving Astral Travel leaves you feeling drained.

You're back to your place in the Magic Circle, Pythianne in front of you holding your hands, and Magister Lyssa hovering by the side.

"Well? How'd it-" Before she can finish her sentence, there's a knocking on the door, and it swings open.

The Archmagister strides in, bounce in his step. For once he doesn't appear to have anything strange about him.

He smiles at you... but says nothing. Pythianne squeals in excitement and begins gushing about the 'incredible success'.

You glance at the Magisters. Pythianne is babbling on about how wonderful and exciting the trip was, and Lyssa looks faintly surprised. Jasper is... Jasper is unreadable. He's smiling softly at ever-... no, it's just you. He's smiling softly at you. You can't tell what he's thinking though... It's starting to scare you a little actually. You feel like he knows something you don't which is true, he probably does, but in the sense that what he knows directly affects you. And probably not in the good way.

"Hello sir." You greet him quietly, bowing your head a little in deference. His smile twitches a little. "Hello, McTerrorcastle."

Pythianne is still going on about the ramifications of your actions - something about revolutionary, and groundbreaking. Lyssa seems to be tuning her out, nodding at appropriate times - you get the feeling she's used to this kind of thing.

Reposting crazy theory - If someone has more knowledge of Tarot cards, mind helping out?

1.The Entropic realm houses memories of past - AND FUTURE. Denizins are major Arcana of the Tarot deck

i. The Hermit(Vizier?) - On Pythainne's first visit she met a man with much knowledge of poems and books
-The Hermit (IX) Stands alone on a mountain with a lantern
-Symbolized acheivement and growth
-Has reached higher awareness
-Impact: Pythainne learned? No other data.

ii. The Hanged man - On Our (Hairy McTerrorcastle's) first journey, we met a man hanging by his foot from a tree
-The Hanged Man(XII) Is a man hanging by his ankle from a living tree
-Symbolizes letting go, patience, inner harmony
-Impact: We let go and danced, harmonized so we could come back the the entropic realm

iii. The Moon - On our trip together with Pythainne, we reached up and poked the moon, to find it a humanoid being.
-The Moon(XVII) Is a moon hanging in the sky between two great pillars, appears to be shedding into the water, a domesticated dog and a wolf howl at it
-Symbolizes Fantasy, physchological conflict, Imagination, Illusion, Anxiety, Romanticism
-Impact: We appear to have confessed our love for our teacher. See above symbolism.

iiii. The Sandman - Found by the original plane explorer. No theories on this guy yet.

v. The Gnarled man - Jasper meets him in the memories we are given. Still trying to figure this guy out. Gnarled?

You can't get a read on him. He seems cheerful, but you can tell something's going on behind his face. You're starting to become aware that there has always been something going on behind his face now that you think about it - behind all his eccentricity. He's not the Archmagister for nothing.

"You seem very cheerful Archmagister." You say to him quietly, whilst Pythianne goes on and on in the background. He smiles a little wider. "I am." Is all he says in response. Okay, yeah, you're getting a little worried.

"Would you like to meet my new friend?" His smile twitches. "I'm afraid that will have to wait. Pythianne should be running out of breath in... three... two..." On cue, she pauses, taking a deep breath.

"Pythia, I do believe that's enough." He says calmly, voice cutting through the air with a sharpness that belies it's softness.

"Firstly, I do believe congratulations are in order - well done, McTerrorcastle, and a good show by you too Pythianne, Lyssa. But I'm afraid I have to spirit our dear student away for a small talk over tea." He holds his hand out to you. "Don't worry, it's not bad." He smiles at you again.

Pythianne seems a little perplexed, and Lyssa just seems curious.

You take his hand. The warping sensation you felt before wreaks through you, and you find yourself deposited in a soft, plush arm chair, in front of a small table.

A pair of teacups hover a few inches above the table, a floating teapot pouring in steaming tea.

"Would you like some sugar with yours? Cream?" He holds his hands out to... do something?

Pointing a finger at his own cup... a small jet of milk begins streaming out at a gradual pace, pouring into his tea. Huh.

"Isn't it to ensure those with magical potential were properly trained in a safe and controlled environment?" He nods.

"Basically, yes. The Academy was founded during the War of the Wizards era, and it's goal was to give those with magical potential the opportunity to learn without being beholden to older Wizards. Many of the Magi of the time took apprentices, but many of them were not interested in the idea of training those who would one day surpass them." He takes another deep drink of his tea.

"The Academy's purpose has always been to protect the Students. From themselves, from other Wizards, from any source that might do them harm."

You sip your own tea. Definitely rosemary. "... Am I in danger then, Archmagister?"

He laughs lightly. "Heavens, McTerrorcastle. We're all in danger."

"McTerrorcastle, how much damage do you think one of the Magisters could do if they decided to? If, say, Magister Gareth, Ranafiel or Pythianne decided they wanted to destroy everything?" He's giving you a serious look now.

"Do you think the Empire could stop them? How many lives do you think would be lost if Magister Alaine or Vann turned their talents to war?"

He doesn't wait for answer. "The answer is innumerable. The Empire likely could not recover - do not get the wrong idea, the Empire could and would put a stop to their rampage... except maybe Ranafiel." He refills his teacup. "I don't even know if I could stop Ranafiel... but that's beside the point. The point is when a Mage reaches the level of power common amongst the Magisters... they're no longer something that can be stopped."

He sips his refilled tea. "Do you know what is the most common cause of deaths, amongst Magi in this age?"

You don't like where this is going.

You're face is very worried now. "... Lust for power? Other magi?"

He lets his teacup hover in the air in front of him. "The former is part of the reason, but officially, the most common cause of death amongst Magi who leave the Academy is 'Magical accident'." He makes air quotations at this. "Mistakes are always made, and sometimes when you're dealing with magic, mistakes are fatal. From official statistics, one could say that the safest place to practice and learn Magic is the Academy."

"... But that's not true." You murmur, staring at him. You're getting an idea of where this is going.

"Oh, it is true. You'll be safest here. Well, YOU will. Some of the other students will never encounter a 'magical accident'. They lack the potential." He drains his tea again.

"I'm going to be blunt, McTerrorcastle. You're on a fast track to being put on the Empire's hit list. Mages are like trees. As students, we're weak. Once grown, we are almost infallible. The Empire does not want Magic to continue. They believe it's too risky - it takes one, just one rogue Mage, and thousands can die. The only reason most of the Magisters are still alive is because they couldn't get rid of us if they tried." He leans back in his chair.

"You? Not so much. Vann told me what would happen if you went into the Experiment. But you have two choices. Publish your results... or keep it under wraps." You swallow a little.

"If you publish, you'll get fame and fortune... and attention. The Empire will see you as something to deal with. If you don't... well, they'll probably see you as something to deal with at some point in your life."

You sip your tea. You didn't ask for this.

"You don't have to decide now. I'm sure you have other questions you want to ask."

You nod, standing up to prepare your summoning. "You've met him before, Archmagister. He remembered your visit." The Archmagister laughs, smiling at you. He goes to say something then pauses.

"Yes and no, really. I guess you could say I did meet him and I didn't..." He chuckles at you. "I'll show you. You summon and I'll summon."

You blink, and begin the Summoning spell in sync with the Archmagister. His version is very similar...

Black sand begins to whip around you, slowly forming a solid shape in front of you. By the Magister, dust and... paper scraps whirl about, slowly condensing into a physical shape.

Soon, Oblitus Luna is standing by you and... the Librarian?

They stare at each other silently. Oblitus cocks his head to the side and glances at you. "... You remembered me."

Because conventional magical combat has just been strongly hinted to be important to the PLOT. Dat empire's gonna come down but not without a fight. Luna's cool, but in a fight, who knows? Especially in our plane.

I wish there was something we could summon that would stay invisible and follow us around, watching our back. Not Haztoraxifeliv, but someone we can summon easily for longer periods of time.

"Oh wow. That explains so much." You say, staring at the Librarian. That's why he's so weird and... magical.

"Hey, since you summoned him to run the Library, could you tell us where the study rooms are? All he says is left."

Jasper glances at the Librarian and starts laughing. Once he finishes, he wipes a tear away from his eye. "Well, nobody knows. I've tried asking Timateus here," He slaps the Librarian on the back who doesn't react, "And all he says is 'Left' as you've noted. After some exploring, my only conclusion is that the study rooms have left. Completely."

"... I don't suppose you could explain what this is?"

Jasper sits back down, the Librarian standing still. "You can go now, Timateus. I'm sure you have more books to sort." The Librarian vanishes before your eyes, silently. Oblitus lurks at your side, shifting slightly.

"If I'm perfectly honest, I'm not entirely sure. Seeing as you've ah, bonded with one, I can assume you are aware of the nature of the Entropic Plane?" You nod.

"Well, er, Oblitus here and Timateus, the Librarian are... I suppose you could them Aspects. It's what I call them anyway." He studies Luna carefully. "This is mostly conjecture, seeing as getting a straight word out of Timateus is impossible, but they represent 'Forgotten Things'. Timateus, for example, embodies... 'Forgotten Lore'." He studies Luna a bit closely. The entity just inches away slightly, a tad uneasy.

"I have no idea what your friend might embody. It's likely something that you yourself possess a strong connection to. They only really bond with people that share a connection to their Aspect, I think. I run an Academy - it's always been my goal. I love knowledge!" He giggles.

"So, McTerrorcastle... do you mind if I call you Castle? Such a mouthful. What Oblitus Luna embodies is likely what you yourself embody most."

Well, the only thing we've really done, other than relentlessly study is make friends.

I mean, sure, the only reason we went into summoning in the first place is titty-sensei and the desire to summon earth-shattering demonic monstrosities to take over the world...but, when we summoned our first imp we just..made friends with it.

We're friendship. The most powerful aspect of all.

"Now, I'm sure Pythianne is getting worried that I'm eating you or something." He gives you a warm smile, and gets up again. "You'll have to excuse me though - I need to put on my bunny ears for my run with Ranafiel."

You imagine he has no idea what to do in this situation.

Reaching Pythianne's office, you find her filling out scroll after scroll of parchment. "Oh! You're back! I was just writing up the experiment, getting it all ready for publishing... er, if we are publishing. Are we publishing?" Oblitus fidgets with his arm-cloth. "Oh! OH! You summoned him! Oh he's so adorable look at his little cloth! What does he look like under, do you mind if I remove them dear, no, it's okay, what a beautiful eye," She goes on and on, poking and pulling and tugging at Oblitus, who gives you a pleading look.

You take a deep breath and step between Oblitus and Pythianne. "Professor what exactly are the boundaries here? The Archmagister wants magic to continue but the Empire wants to keep it contained and they're willing to do it by force... What am I supposed to do?"

She pauses, sighing deeply. "I... Whatever you think is best, really. We Magisters will do our best to protect you, and any other student that needs it. If you feel you need to get more Magic to be safe, then ask and we can help you. Just try not to make yourself a target?" She gives you a small smile and pats your shoulder.

She looks away, staring at her desk. "... Vann's been acting odd lately. I'm a little worried something's coming up. The last time he started fidgeting around like this, a third year accidentally summoned something they shouldn't have and well... it didn't end well."

The Fifth Circle was their name, right? If it's not, what was it?
>>
>>26706050
I have three questions to ask her

"would you recommend me studying another magic to defend myself?"
>>
>>26706140

>>
>>26706158
Nope, you haven't read the previous threads I take it.

He wants us away from Pythianna, so asking something like that would either make him even more hostile towards us or he would just lie saying it's gonna crumble and end with her hating us.
>>
>>26706168
It's pretty clear by now that the fifth circle is supported by multiple of the magisters as a way to keep magic alive, they just NEED to keep it under cover so they don't get assassinated.
>>
>>26706168

Frankly, I don't even think we need to ask. Judging from what the Archmagister told us about his motivations, it's obvious that if he isn't running the Circle, he supports it. They're trying to grow more powerful mages that can't be moved.

"Vann actually talked to me earlier, before I went into the experiment..."

Pythianne nods. "I know, he told me he warned you about the repercussions of the experiment. I was excited to know you came anyway!"

"... Right. What happened with the Third-year incident anyway?" Pythianne fidgets with her sleeve.

"Er... one of my students, one of my best students actually, tried to summon Aralogath, Herald of the End. We lost ten students to that... if Ranafiel wasn't by on his usual exercise, we might have lost more." You nod. She doesn't seem to like talking about this.

"What's the safest and fasted way you would recommend for me to gain enough power to defend myself?"

She gives you a shrewd look, before glancing at Oblitus - he hasn't done much since you started talking, kind of hovering behind you. "Honestly? Try and learn Oblitus's abilities. He might be powerful and he seems loyal."

You nod.

And then we go to the summoning room with Obby. I suspect that he's going to be able to fuck shit up. The librarian seems to telegrab books. Maybe Obby can just straight up warp reality.
>>
>>26706385
When is our date with Ariane? Is Obby still with us?

If we have nothing else to do, we should watch people spar and try to pick something up.
>>
>>26706385
Just poke our head into the alchemy lab to see if Ariane is there. If she is wave and come in, since we can't contain Obby it doesn't matter where we go with her. Also Obby seems shy, Ariane seems shy, they might hit it off big.
>>
Wonder what would've happened if we didn't qualify for the Fifth Circle. More standard Slice of Life stuff?
>>
>>26706449
>When

It's whenever the fuck we feel like it. Seriously, we told her we'd hang out later and exchange notes. And by notes, she'd show us some cool potions and we'd introduce her to haxifoar, uh, haxorlifxx, uh, zifaxlse - fuck it, we'd introduce her to Bowie.
>>
>>26706380

That's about as natural as it gets.
>>
>>26706464
"He's pretty cool, what's his name?"

"The experience of carving libraries worth of information into the flesh of human slaves in the dark depths of the Infernal Plane."
>>
>>26706385
Introduce ourselves to the older students and look for another summoner. Need to start learning from someone with a different perspective.
>>
Let's simply as Oblitus if he can obliterate things, or if he can help is with other things.
>>
>>26706451
>>26706442
>>26706437
>>26706424

You poke your head into the Alchemy Lab. Ariane is indeed mixing potions, listening to the instructions of an older student. "... and then grind the basilisk scale carefully. Only a little bit."

You wave at her when she glances up and she smiles. She'd wave back, but she's holding test tubes. Oblitus pokes his head in as well, and she looks faintly surprised at this. "..."

"When your done, can you meet me in the Force Dojo?" She nods, still carefully pouring powdered scales into a vial of thick, bubbling red liquid.

You head to the Force Dojo, greeting Jaqul as you go. He glances up at Oblitus, blinks, and looks back down into his book.

The Force Dojo is currently occupied by the tall Force Mage you met earlier, and a small, dainty little brunette girl. They're engaged in a vicious spar, and the little girl is winning easily.

It seems mostly Physical... except they're about a foot away from each other, striking out with telekinetic blows and parrying with Force Shields.

She's pretty good - a vicious kick sends the taller male back into a padded wall, as she wipes sweat from her forehead.

Ask Oblitus
>>
>>26706527
Ask if oblitus can do what they are doing
>>
>>26706527
>>Ask Oblitus about his powers?
>>Continue watching?

Might as well ask him while we watch.

Ask him if he thinks he could match them.
>>
>>26706527
>Ask Oblitus about his powers?
Not a straight up question though. Something like, "You're really awesome, so you should be able to do some really awesome things. Why don't ya show me something awesome!"
>>
>>26706527
Converse with Oblitus about his powers while watching the two spar. We're Harry McTerrorcastle, we can multitask easily.
>>
>>26706527
>Ask Oblitus about his powers?

If my theories are correct it should be simmilar to how Force Magic operates. Both are about imposing your will onto the world, but whereas Force Magic alters physicalities, Entropic Magic alters concepts, ideas, raw energy. I would bet anything that the Plane of pure energy is related to the Entropic Plane in some way.
>>
>>26706527
Ask Blonde girl about force magic.
Then after we get the quick and to the point force magic response ask Obby about his powers.
>>
>>26706527

Is it possible gain any more crazy insight bonuses from watching a spar? Otherwise probe Obby about his abilities. Although I have a feeling we'd have to come up with abilities for him to use based on what we observe is his forte, rather than him just telling us.
>>
>>26706561
This.

>>26706573
Also, this sounds probable. Maybe try to get Obby to alter the concept of gravity so that something floats?
>>
>>26706581
I think disintegration may be a further application of force magic? Instead of thinking of moving or some such thing you merely focus on removing the object from existence.
>>
>>26706581
Crazy, no, but it's obvious that a physical motion adds to the ease of casting. Not necessary by any means, due to whatshisface simply disintegrating everything he touches, but it likely adds to the ability to visualize the intended change.

We should not rely on this. The ability to toss someone aside without moving is far more powerful than telegraphing your intent.
>>
>>26706544
>>26706545
>>26706559
>>26706561

You watch as the taller male gets up again, charges with a roar... and is tripped by a telekinetic force. Power is all well and good if you can't wield it well it seems.

"Say, Obby, you're pretty cool. Why don't you show me something cool you can do?" He looks at his hands.

"I... I don't remember... I..." He stares up at one of the training dummies, reaching out with one hand. "Lonely. I've been so lonely..." It begins to move... it's arms bend and it's legs shift. The half-stitched face blinks. "I don't want to be lonely anymore..."

The Training Dummy pulls itself off it's chains, standing before Oblitus.

>Actions?
>>
>>26706609
The force magic we aim for is the kind that as we sit on our throne of bones, commanding our legions of devils and demons, and a hero bursts in to stop us, we look at him, and he becomes a pulp from sheer force of will we used on him.
>>
>>26706647
That's awesome obby! Can you do it with more than one at the time? Try making them dance!
>>
>>26706647
Ok. So he animates golems. And it looks like already human-shaped things are easier.

So, "You're not alone anymore. You're my friend now, and I'm your friend. But I bet you could make more. Like that guy standing right there." (gesture to the dummy)
>>
>>26706647
Did he just animate the training dummy?
>>
>>26706647

>"I don't want to be lonely anymore..."

>sadcastle.jpg

>The Training Dummy pulls itself off it's chains, standing before Oblitus.

Holy shit.

Army of inanimate objects, here we come!

On that note, let us comfort our friend and partner in crime.

If this aspect reflects something of us...does that mean we're lonely, too?
>>
>>26706647
Animation? The power to animate objects? Please be this awesome!

On a side note, let him continue until we sense danger to our secrecy, someone else or our selves then step in and give Obby a hug and say "your not alone anymore remember?"
>>
>>26706647

Test the limits of his ability. Try to animate more dummies, make them fight each other.
>>
>>26706699
Nah. Just deathly afraid of it.
>>
>>26706647
Maybe he is representing forgotten power
>>
I wonder if he can animate other people.
Let's not find out yet.
>>
>>26706647
Guys, please.

We should go comfort Obby. He's not alone anymore, we're here for him. We're his friend.
>>
>>26706699
>>26706708
>>26706695

You hug him from behind. For someone made of black sand and feelings, he's surprisingly warm. "Shhh. You're not alone anymore, remember? I'm your friend now, and forever." He stiffens a little but relaxes. "Can you make anymore?"

Oblitus holds his hands out. A second training dummy joins the first. A third jostles and moves a little but as it grows in power, the others seem to weaken. His limit seems to be two... or maybe it's affected by size as well? In any case, it looks like has to divide his power between them.

>Actions?
>I'm going to start drawing up Oblitus's Character sheet in a moment.
>>
>>26706723

Afraid of loneliness?

It would make sense. We named ourselves Hairy McTerrorcastle. We don't want to be ignored.

We don't want to be forgotten.
>>
>>26706752
Maybe control them or make them like him/us. Seeing as his power is related to making friends.
>>
>>26706771

Practice makes perfect.

How about we ask Force-girl if she'd like to spar against some dummies? Summon magic vs Force magic!
>>
>>26706771
Let's do some experiments, first: find out the absolute limit of dummies. Secondly: find out the full extent of commands we can issue, try making it dance and attack each other.
Third: Try it on other objects and see how much we can control at once.
Last: Try it on a willing human.
>>
Rolled 34

>>26706771
Try it for ourselves. We have telekinesis, and we're the one who "created" Oblitus, so we should have the basic potential.
>>
>>26706771
Maybe check how the other people reacted to this. Also try ordering the dummies to do something, if that doesn't work ask Obby to send back two to their original positions and lets practice with one. Later on we can try on other materials and objects to see the finer details.
>>
>>26706828
Don't roll unless the Archmagister asks us to
Especially when you roll that low
>>

"Hmmm... I wonder how tough they are..." You glance at Luna, before glancing at the brunette girl. The tall mage is panting on the ground, and she gives you an interested look. "Nice trick. Enchantment?" She says calmly, wiping some sweat off her forehead.

"Something like that. I want to see how tough they are." She nods, assuming a boxing stance.

"Let's see how good these things are!" Oblitus blinks in surprise when she Force Punches a dummy in the stomach. "... That's not very nice..." He murmurs, tilting his head. The struck dummy collapses to the ground bonelessly as the second dummy charges forward, surprisingly quickly. It's surprisingly acrobatic, flipping and rolling around the girl's blows, jabbing her lightly with it's hands. Oblitus frowns lightly.

"... Too soft..." He mutters. He's probably referring to the dummies themselves.

>Try sparring one for yourself?
>Other?
>>
>>26706906
"So how are you doing that?"
>>
>>26706906
Hey girl, wanna see if this enhancement works on humans too?
>>
>>26706931
Is that directed at Oblitus or the girl?
>>
>>26706906
Might be an idea to stop before Obby does something dramatic. Like turning their fists into adamantine, we don't know if he can but better not take chances.
>>
>>26706906
Well I HOPE he's referring to the dummy.
In any case, why don't we ask what Obi wants to do?
>>
>>26706906
>Other?
"If the dummies are too soft, you should try shaping one out of the stone in the ground."
>>
>>26706938
Obby.
>>
>>26706938
I think it would be better directed at the girl. Obby is just going to say he doesn't want to be alone.
>>
>>26706906
So Luna's a good trainer, huh? We should learn how to create REAL golems and put them under Luna's control.

Let's try learning a trick from the Force girl, as well as her name. We can promise to let her spar with Luna's golems later.
>>
>"... Too soft..." He mutters.

"Then just make them harder," you say.

>>26706939

Ah, whatever. We'll just take her to the healing magister. She seems like the type to be impressed with a show of strength anyway.

>>26706944

You shrug at him, tapping him on the shoulder. He blinks in surprise, the Training dummy collapsing to the floor bonelessly. "If they're too soft, you could make one from the stone in the ground." He looks down, focusing, before sighing. "... I can't." He mutters.

Well. Worth a shot. Seems like he can't make them move unless they're already capable of movement.

"Say, I didn't get your name. I'm Hairy McTerrorcastle, but my friends call me Castle." She gives you an amused stare but holds out her hand. "Josephine McLaine, third year Force student." Oblitus fidgets with his cloth again. "This is Oblitus, by the way. Oblitus Luna. He's not a student." You add the last part almost as an afterthought.

"If you want to try and practice on the golem's later, that's cool with me." She chuckles, stretching lightly. "I'd like that."

>>
>>26707032
We should probably stop treating Obby like a slave. We don't technically control him.

I think we should tell Obby to take a break while we ask blondie if she could help with our force magic.
>>
>>26707032
Ask Oblitus if it works on humans too, and if yes, ask the girl if she wants to volunteer.
>>

>>
>>26707032

Guys, are you serious? She's not just going to randomly be our guinea pig for no reason after just meeting us. Who wants to be controlled like a dummy?

>>26707083

While I find your assessment that we're treating him like a slave is really off-base, I agree that we should ask our senior for some tips for a beginning force mage.

Also, happily accept her invitation to spar in the future. Or hell, make it right now if she's the hands-on sort.
>>
>>26707032
What if Obby tried to befriend Jaqul and the others? We can't always be around, and animated dummies won't always be enough. Other people would love him too!
>>
>>26707138
It's just because asking him things went nowhere at all every time.
>>
>>26707138

We can ask him if he wants to hang out and pick up some chicks later.
>>
>>26707090
>>26707083
>>26707055

You give Oblitus a sly look. "Say, Obby... does that trick work on humans?" Oblitus looks at his hands. "... I don't remember..." You glance at Josephine. "Want to try it out?"

She blinks, shaking her head. "Not unless he's sure what he can do." You nod. Understandable.

"Well, I've been learning a bit of Force myself. Care for a spar?"

She grins at you. "If you think you can stand up to me."

>Spar?

>>26707138
Yeah, -asking- him to do -one- thing is really demanding, I'm shocked he hasn't killed us by now.

No harm in asking.
Especially since it turned training dummies into something she couldn't properly strike, imagine if that shit works on magic too, not just the physical body.
>>
>>26707138
Well yes, he has already proven that he does not act on his own, he needs to be asked to do things in order to act.

>"If you think you can stand up to me."
We can't. No way in hell can we. If we do, we're about to get the shit kicked out of us.

You nod. Force Shield huh? Might have to try that out later.

She heads over to the other mage, kicking him lightly. He groans. "Well, he's not getting up for a while. If you want some tutoring, I can probably help you out later - but first, I'm hungry as fuck. Want to get some food?"

"So... lunch?" You say to Ariane. She smiles again and nods.

You head out. Jaqul is already gone - possibly into one of the other rooms, you aren't sure. In any case, you reach the Cafeteria, and take a table.

She pulls out the notepad, scribbling a small message on it and passing it over.

'Whose your friend?'

"I'll have a braised chicken stuffed with melted parmesan and portabella mushrooms. Baked potato and corn on the cob for sides, and a few slices of watermelon for dessert." You look at Oblitus. "Did you want anything?"

He stares at the table. "I... I remember... ice cream..." He murmurs. The golem jots it down. Ariane scribbles a note and passes it to the golem. It shuffles off to retrieve your orders.

You take the notepad and begin scribbling down what you and Jasper discussed. She looks faintly pale but nods.

"By the way... Luna, this is Ariane and she can't really communicate that easily, so we talk using a notepad and pen." He makes an 'Ah' sound.

Oblitus, can you return what was lost?
>>
>>26707592
Wrap up the date and lets summon Haztoraxifeliv. We've got some Dealin' to do now that the Empire is on our back.

Also tell Ariane that we've got her back if anything happens or she ever needs help.
>>
>>26707624
Wow. That's some speed dating right there.
>>
>>26707592
Make conversation. I'm sure Hairy McTerrorcastle is a suave and charmto ng person, but /tg/ is, for the most part, not.
>>
>>26707624
Hah, summoning Haztoraxifeliv was going to be PART of the date.

And I specifically remember promising to check out some concoctions she was brewing.
>>
>>26707592

Tell her about the trip to the plane...uh...but leave out the naked bits.

Then ask her what she's been up to. I'm pretty interested. That will segue into -hey why don't we go somewhere more private so you can show me-.

Also, I have an idea, based on something I mentioned earlier.

I say we ditch the succubi idea, or put it on the back burner. Succubi have been done. It's old hat, the shit horny teenagers get up to. It won't be taken seriously. This is below the McTerrorcastle name.

I say we summon creatures and build an on-campus restaurant. Our kitchens shall be staffed by the greatest demonic chefs; we shall become the evil caricature of Gordon Ramsey, leading our troops with a flaming soup ladle. Our summoning magic shall become ever stronger under the innocent guise of capitalism. We shall pioneer the mixtures of magic and food, creating delicacies the likes of which the world has never seen. The emperor won't want to assassinate us once we get to his stomach.

Ariane can help, potions will be a critical component of our production.
>>
>>26707592
Continue small talk.

Maybe ask how alchemy is coming. Tell her about the study rooms literally having left apparently. Uhh. Learning some force magic (did we tell her about the pillow? add that in if not).

And then summon Bowie. She wanted to see him.
>>
>>26707619
Wait a second, are you going to try and have Luna give her back her voice and hearing?
>>
>>26707592
OK, to not sit about and not say anything, how about we ask her about her day? What potions was she brewing earlier? Were they the ones she was going to show us?
>>
>>26707660
>And then summon Bowie. She wanted to see him.

We're not allowed to summon unsupervised; I don't really give a fuck about the rules, but doing it in the middle of the dining hall at lunchtime is kinda silly. We'll have to do it back in the clubhouse.
>>
>>26707662
God I hope not. "Here you go, you worthless freak. Look how great I am."
>>
>>26707673
Of course.
>>
>>26707673
Of course we weren't going to do that in the middle of a meal.

>>26707662
>>26707619
Now THIS has piqued my interest, we should take note of this for later. Maybe we can ask Haztoraxifeliv if he knows any school of magic that can perform such feats.
>>
>>26707649
Perfect, after food lets go back to the cabal room and show her our new and improved Haztoraxifeliv.

>>26707640
Conversations feel really weird in this format. ">action?" just feels too open ended. I prefer the studying/worldbuilding/insane dice rolling more.

Well I want to talk to her.
>>

>>26707660

You tell her about how you met Oblitus. She seems very interested in that, but you tactfully leave out the fact that you were naked... and staring at Pythianne most of the time.

She tells you about her alchemy projects - they're covering Elixirs mostly, things to increase the body's capabilities. She's incredibly interested into the dynamics of the ingredients.

Your food arrives - she ordered the same thing as you apparently. She blushes lightly, and just scribbles down 'It sounded good.' The golem puts a sundae in front of Oblitus.

He stares at it quietly, before picking up the spoon. One of his hands goes to pull down the cloth around his mouth and... well, he's got a human mouth. It doesn't look that interesting, to be honest. You aren't sure what you were expecting.

You continue to make small talk as you finish your lunches. In case you were wondering, she was very much surprised at how delicious hers was. Oblitus said nothing but he definitely ate all the ice cream.

"Come on. Let's go back - I still need to show you Haztoraxifeliv."

You take her by the hand, noticing she blushes a little at the contact, as you both head back to the Fifth Circle. Once in the Summoning Chambers, you prepare the spell.

>Roll 1d100 to cast Summon Imp II

You complete the Spell. Haztorixafeliv appears in a burst of flame... looking decidedly different. He's larger, and actually standing on the ground now. A little under four feet, with burning red skin and a pair of goat horns. He has hair now, shaggy and black, and little taloned feet. He flexes his membranous wings with a yawn.

He's also completely naked. "... Ah. Krr-ka summoned me." His voice is a bit deeper, harsher now.

Ariane looks quite impressed though. Oblitus seems confused mostly.

"Ariane, Oblitus Luna, Haztoraxifeliv. Haztoraxifeliv, Ariane and Oblitus Luna."

The Imp blinks, shrugging at both of them. Ariane smiles and waves, still holding your hand. Oblitus... Oblitus hides behind you a little, gripping your shoulder. It's like introducing dogs. Or cats.

Ariane giggles a little. "... Okay then, I guess. Did you want to ask him anything Ariane?" She shakes her head. "Well, I guess you can go if you want Bowie." Bowie nods, and vanishes.

"I think you had some potions to show me as well, didn't you?" She nods excitably, and drags you and by proxy, Oblitus, to the Alchemy Lab.

She scribbles on her piece of paper.

'Elixirs, definitely. There's just so much you can do with them! Increase strength, heal diseases, improve bodily function... Check this one out! One of the older students made it, said it was to improve 'physical performance'!' She holds up a bright pink bottle. She goes on about the elixirs and their effects for a little bit longer.

You think you have time to check out another section if you'd like, or wrap up the date here?

>I'm gonna wrap this up at the date's conclusion.

It would be irresponsible not to drink it.

The autism is strong with this one.

Hey, here's a brilliant idea. Later, on, preferably after we're not on a first date, we -talk- about it with her, and find out how she feels about the situation. Then, if she asks US for help, we help.

Rather than try to correct her to a state we think she should be in.

"Cool. Do you think they'd mind if we drink it?" She blinks, before shaking her head.

'Well, not really - the ones left here are for public use.' You pop the cork off it and take a swig, holding it out to her.

She takes an experimental swig of her own. It tastes like peppermint, but a bit salty.

She blinks. You're feeling a little flushed now... and... oh. Oh. It was THAT kind of 'physical performance'. She's blushing furiously - you don't think she was aware of that at the time.

If she could speak, she'd probably be saying something embarassed but all she can manage is a silent squeak.

You're feeling pretty... energetic. From the colour of her cheeks she is too. She looks at you, a little unsurely before steeling herself.

And then she kisses you. Oblitus makes a surprised noise... followed by a mumbled '... I remember...'.

Retconning the sex? Hmmm... I'm against that mostly on the grounds of 'You chose this.'
>>
>>26708832
You can have sex without derailing it into a waifu-quest.

Sheesh.

No need to retcon. Castle is able to focus on multiple things at once.
As for Pythianna, she has nice tits. Otherwise she is an ill-fit, and probably over twice our age.

>Start a business selling our succubus out.
>Don't tell them it's a guy.
>Watch the hijinks

I feel like this needs to happen
>>
>>26708916
That could happen. You terrible person.
You're my favourite now.
>>

>get beat up by force students
I doubt they'd see the humor. And there's other stuff you can do with a succubus companion. Like lewd humor and interfering in others' relationship drama and such.

Guys, this is the fourth goddamn part of this thread, I've seen mistakes on a far tinier scale plague quests for fucking years, I don't want something like that to happen to this quest.
All I'm saying is, is that our Hairy McTerrorCastle knew where to stop, I'm not ruling out blowjobs or anything like that, but sex is another issue entirely here, we could even have repercussions from the academy itself.

>>

Are you saying, that when you were 15, if a girl threw herself at you when you were basically acting on your sex drive you wouldn't do this?

It happened and now we'll know better and not make the same mistake again. We don't need to retcon it just because we had magical hi jinks of a slightly more mature kind.

Also VI is 6 in Roman numerals not 4.

After spending a few hours totally alone stark naked with our teacher with the banging titties?

It's really all up to Archmagister-kun. I believe in him.

This will cause problems, and it'll only take until the next thread to show it, I promise you that.
>>

A constant reflect field would be so damn useful, but I doubt Force magic can be simplified to reversing vectors automatically.

I think the best we could get is Force armor, like the force chick was saying with force shields. Come to think of it, that's probably Ranafiel's deal.
>>
>>26709126
Why not? Just constantly tell yourself "REVERSE! REVERSE REVERSE!" in a fashion similar to BE STRONG.

Force is about pushing your will onto the world so hard that the world gives up and just takes it like the bitch it is. If Hairy McMotherfucking Terrorcastle tells the world to reverse the vectors he doesn't like, the world will fucking do it.
>>
>>26709126
Force Absorption sounds better.
Absorb X amount of force from Y, and whenever we want we can shoot it back out at Y too.
>>
>>26709160
As long as we don't crit fail. But I could see that working.
>>
>>26709119
Sorry. I forgot this was on 4chan and that someone, somewhere, will go on and on about the sex.
>>
Whoa, I missed the entire thread.
Can someone tell me why we just fucked that mute kid we just met like, yesterday though?
Seems pretty random considering we've only known her for a day, thought we were going for the big breasted teacher myself, especially considering we seem to be basically her only friend.
>>
>>26709365
We just met Pythianne, like yesterday also. And she's something like 2 or 3 times our age.

So yeah.
>>
>>26709365
It's been more than a week that we've known her. We were on very powerful drugs. The big boobed teacher is a pipe dream for those who are obsessed with the idea. I personally don't mind as long as this is just chucked on the back burner or not used to justify some stupid crap, I'm looking at teacher or harem plans.
>>
>>26709404
We've known her since the start of the quest, shit, half of our actions were to do with her tits dude.

>>26709442
Honestly I'm in this for the crazy magic shit, it's just that teacher supported the shit out of it, and y'know, was generally a great bro, can't help but feel we betrayed her a little, especially after we were basically her first student to enjoy her lessons.
>>
>ITT: Virgins who thinks sex ties you up yo one girl FOREVER! Sex while bith parties are under the influence to boot.

Let's take a chill pill and just enjoy the over the top hijinks. This is pretty clearly a silly silly quest.
