You are Ssen, a Lamia raised by a human Paladin who adopted you after killing the ones who birthed you. You are grown now, and Father has passed on. After a great deal of work, you have become a Paladin like your Father, and now take up his duties.

You are accompanied by your best friend from childhood, the insect druid Tricia; Mage, a magic user who ran away from his family of cannibal raiders known as the Ghouls (Yes, his name is Mage. It was his idea); Persephone, a 22-year old thief/ex-guerllia fighter (She goes by Peri), and Mari, a 13-year old prodigy scholar/now sniper, who has her mind and soul trapped within Peri's body; and Lea, a deeply religious musician/martial artist, trained by her father, a famous trainer for arena fighters, she's covered from her mouth down in bandages to hide the horrific state her body has become thanks to the 'cures' that saved her from cancer.

Your journey continues...

Saving Citadel is going to be more complicated than expected, and you had very high expectations to begin with.

The first issue is that there's more than one Citadel. All in the same place. One Citadel seems to be a never ending Winter, designed for the self-flagellating religious types who like to feel vindicated in their faith; another is a spring festival that lasts forever, filled to the brim with sex and debauchery; and one seems to be filled with endless fighting and riots.

The passages between the different Citadels seem to be nearly random places, like doors or walls. And it's all but scrambled Mage's techniques to locate where Citadel's Heart is. He was able to find a place where he could be able to find the heart, though.

First, you decided to go see the self-created militia Shadow Company. The last time you where here, Janos, their leader, seemed to be not under Citadel's control.

You arrived at their headquarters to find that Shadow Company has been locked within the 'War' Citadel. Whats more is that you were also found by the Phoenix Empire spy, Sideways. She seemed very intent on seeing you dead. Thankfully, the back of her head met with the fist of Bobbi-Jo Odette, the self-aware and independant Citadel Thing that houses the soul of your once rival.

Welcome back from jury duty, echo. Hope that went well.

First order of business: We missed those two! give 'em a simultaneous hug, even the unconscious one.

Second order of business, call our friends over here before the rift flips dimensions or something.

Itinerary:
1 Regroup with companions
2 Apologize profusely to Odette. We failed her so many times and she has suffered through much in order to climb back to some semblance of normality. We owe her. Obviously we should save her, but if she wants anything else, anything, we are obligated to see it done.
3 Explain what’s been going outside Citadel to Shadow Company. Tell them how brave they’ve all been. Add in “you’ve been lights in the darkness.” See what’s up with the girl and naga. Probably owe them an apology too.
4 Deal with Sideways. I think it’s reasonable to tell her that we won’t bully her anymore and that if she dies, she reincarnates under Citadel’s control. I’m leaning on using her as a messenger to arrange a meeting with Kingfisher. He’s the Belloq to our Indiana Jones and there’s no point for us to fight until the last minute, if we need to fight at all.
On a more personal note: Sideways is OLEV. She assassinated my heart with her pun-ishment last thread.
>>
>>26742768
maybe just a little, but we've got to save some of that for princess and the kid.
>>
>>26742777
oh, at some point we have to tell odette what happened on the day she went suicidal. She will probably be really, really mad.
>>
>>26742819
The fact that the King declared it "didn't exist"?
Oh yeah, that totally matters now that Citadel has devoured the entire population. Not that we shouldn't tell her.
>>
>>26742842
oh, not that part. The part where it was US who manufactured the "miracle" that got the criminals acquitted.
>>
>>26742865
I think she knew. At least she suspected it at the time.
>>
>>26742842
Yeah, she definitely deserves to know the truth.

I actually thought that maybe doing it as a confession would be interesting.
>>
I think apologizing to odette would not go over well, she has enough pride that she would probably take it poorly.

"your looking well, i'm glad to see you were able to pull yourself together"
>>
Rolled 8

No apologizing to Odette. I can't imagine she'd take it well, especially in the state she's in currently.
>>
>>26742952
Look, in War time goes by faster than usual, so it's been years to her. We owe her an apology and making sure we get her good end as far as this arc goes.

Because as Echo has said. We can recover artifacts if we get the right resolution. I have my suspicions on what those artifacts might be, but we should be aware that they exist. Odette, for example, might want to keep living after growing used to being a Citadel Thing. Could end up being a golem race.
>>
Rolled 15

>>26743004
Maybe an apology for not getting back here sooner. But not for what happened at the trial.
>>
We should apologize to Odette, it seems like we should.
>>
>>26743017
That's what I'm saying. We promised to rescue her at that boardwalk place and instead left her to rot basically.

We hug her and tell her we owe her for that. Whatever she wants, we'll do it.
>>
>>26742895
She's seen the worst of Citadel firsthand, and she deserves to know why. The hope is that it will help put her at rest to know that her fate isn't a punishment by the Light, but the results of a rogue god doing terrible things to souls. It would also explain to her what we're trying to put to an end, which might strengthen her resolve in trying to help us.
>>
You instantly wrap both Odette and Sideways in a tight lamia hug. Sideways makes a little grunt but is still out cold.

Odette awkwardly returns the hug, and then doesn't let go for a long long time.

Finally she does. She scribbles a note.

-Apologies. Others dislike to touch. Long long time without contact. Thank you.-

She then goes to disarm Sideways, she hands you her two daggers, and a bandoleer of throwing knives and an astoundingly large amount of hidden hold-out daggers.

-Where others?- She writes.

"Other side of the wall." You say.

-Which Citadel?-

"Spring."

She nods as she uses a rope she pulled out from a chest cavity to bind Sideway's arms and legs.

-Stay here. I'll go get them. DON'T start a fight!-

Then she walks up to a wall and keeps walking, INTO the wall.

You wait, after a little bit, Sideways groans again as she wakes up.

<Ugh. Wha...what hit...oh for fuck's sake! Killing you should NOT be this hard!> Sideways snaps. <I HAD you! You really ARE a demon sent from the coldest pits!>
>>
Rolled 12

>>26743062
<While I did get lucky that my backup was behind you, I'm harder to kill than you think.>

>>

>>
>>26743062
<Cai Wei Zei! I missed you! How have you been all this time you sideways ol' spy you?

Then >>26743101
Afterwards:
"And that's the last time I make fun of you. You've clearly gotten a lot braver since last we met, and perhaps a bit stronger too. But sadly, I've been doing some God-killing up North and that my little sparrow is truly the coldest pit. Perhaps one day you might get a fair chance, but today is important. Today your life was spared."
Then tell her about what the Citadel things are and how we don't want her to become one.
>>
>>26743090
I don't think she saw Odette sneak up.

<You were hit by... a friend. Don't struggle, Cai. Don't fight back. If you force me to kill you here, it'll be a fate far, far worse than death. Watch that wall and you'll see what I mean.>

"I don't care what you do afterwards... but just humor me and watch closely. You need to see it for yourself."

She breaks into a grin. {Thank you! I worked hard on coming up with a bunch and getting in practice. Kingfisher nearly killed me when he discovered it. He despises word play and jokes. I think we should only hint that we want to help him. Kingfisher apparently views everyone to be as pragmatic as he is, a point of view we shouldn't treat naively.

We tell him we call his favor and use it for a meeting, we tell him flat out what our conditions are for his independent city, and if he thinks that's naive then we go full dragonbrain. Seriously.
We tell him that everything in the UFK is a part of our horde, everything in the peninsula can be a part of his horde, and if he objects to that we can kill him and make the PE colony a part of our horde. And that we will treat the people there in ways he might object to.

We might have to act just as pragmatically as him with explicit threats.

>>
>>26743712
I think the best we can hope for with Kingfisher is an armistice and eventual detente. We aren't going to become allies with him any time soon, but we can save Kingfisher from himself.

Maybe tell him that if he's so worried about us outliving him that he should find a damn good successor.
>>

More seriously, it's as I thought. Some Imperial noble is trying to make a move for the Soul-Shaper. I know Kingfisher doesn't like me, but we can put aside differences and work together long enough to stop that thing from being made.

If Kingfisher put a blanket kill order on us due to our being too unpredictable, we might be in a tight spot as far as negotiations are concerned.

This whole thing is, for me, the potential to be Sideway's death flag unless we can convince Kingfisher that we really do want to help him get his own city that's as far away from us as possible.
We might even have to outright kidnap Kingfisher. Possibly with Sideway's help. Tell her how unlikely it is that he is able to control Citadel and that he'd only make things worse.
>>
Oh, and on a completely different topic:
I think we need to enjoy Citadel as much as possible. By this, I mean we should take our time and not rush to completely fuck up what Echo has planned as quickly as possible.

There are many worlds in Citadel and I'd like to explore them all. Maybe not Winter and Spring so much, but Youth, Age, Past, and Future should be very interesting and I hope we don't rush through them.
>>
>>26744338
I'd like to dawdle, but we've very much got to stop these phoenix guys, who are probably at the heart already. Or soon. Maybe.
>>
>>26744386
I'm just saying make sure to check out the various worlds. It'd be a waste to leave one unvisited. Again, Winter and Spring are obviously shit tier.
>>
>>26744408
War's pretty metal though, I rate it as "fair"

It is. There's no magic we've seen in all the world that can turn a dog into a man, or a domesticated naga into a sentient being.

And even if it was true, she'd think she was us. And then we'd have to destroy her identity. And that would be awkward.

"Hey guys, so it turns out the Empire IS here doing things. We we're just catching up. Sideways tried to kill me, Miss Odette cracked her on the skull. Kind of par for the course. Now that we're all here, we can make a plan."

"So, Cai, you were saying that the Mystic is already here? You have any idea where they're going?" You say.

"You REALLY think I'm going to tell you anything?" Sideways asks as Lea forces her to her feet.

"What mystic?" Peri asks.

"Person trying to do the whole soul change ritual." You say.

Sideway's eyebrows go up. "How'd you learn about that?"

"You have your secrets. We have ours." Mari says. "Anyway, we're against that guy too, I guess, so it would be helpful to tell us."

Sideways smiles. "Alright, I'll tell you everything I know. Not a damn thing. We all got split up. They're somewhere out in this war zone, I guess. Some kind of magic must have moved them somewhere in the city."

You and the others share a glance. So Sideways doesn't know about Citadel or the Other Citadels. Interesting.

"Alright, lets get you some place secure." Lea says. "Odette, do you know these people?" She nods at the Shadow Puppet Theater.

She nods. And writes. -Working with them. Me and the Other Freed.-

"Other Freed? Wait, you mean others like you?" Tricia asks.

Odette nods as she leads you through some back alleys, apparently she knows a secondary, safer, entrance to the theater. -Blindfolded. Get supplies from Safer Citadels. Recon. Fighting...bad for selves. Forget things.- She pauses and then writes. -Can the dead love the dead? Murky area, never discussed in Conclaves save hypotheticals.-

You shush Peri. "It's a matter of souls, Odette. You have a soul, and so I believe you can love and be loved like any other person." You say. "I always assumed that folks still loved each other after they died. Just not, you know, physically. Being dead and all. It would be hard."

"You know," Tricia says. "I always wondered about that. His Light is against bigamy, right?"

"Yes." Lea says. "Although there's been some debate about how polymorous relationships relate...but yes, ever since a rather vile cult where three men had multiple 'wives' that they treated like slaves, bigamy has been outlawed in the Teachings and Law."

"Right," Tricia says. "So say that a man and a woman fall in love and get married. They live good lives, everyone in this scenario does, and then the man passes away. The woman mourns, and after a few years, remarries a new man she loves. They live well, and then the woman dies. The man mourns and then in a few years remarries, and they both live the rest of their lives. Are all four of those people still married in the afterlife?"

"Huh." Lea says. "Interesting idea."

"You people actually spend time talking about this?" Sideways asks.

Mage shrugs. "It's that or start screaming."

-Here.- Odette says.

She opens a door in a wall. And you have three people in Shadow Company uniforms, weapons drawn and ready. They relax when they see Odette.

A Freed in a red headband comes up to Odette and hugs her.

"Lady Paladin Ssen Patrick, for real?" The soldiers says. The soldier takes off his hood and cloth mask. It's some person you don't remember, a woman.

"You don't look that old...oh damn, is there a time...thingy...thing?" She shakes her head. "How long has it been since things went screwy?"

"Nearly a year and a half." Tricia says.

The woman breathes a sigh of relief. "Oh thank His Light...maybe...ugh." She wipes her eyes. "The last time you saw me, I was a child watching the shadow play."

-She and I share the same passion for freedom. Also her lower foundation is quite architecturally sound.- He writes.

"You should go up there." Ree says. "The Freed and I will handle the prisoner. General Jonas will want to speak to you."

You nod and go up to the office that's been converted into a war room. Jonas is standing there, his hair has gone, grey, and he's got wrinkles, but he still looks as composed as before.

"Paladin Ssen Patrick, the real one." He says. "You've barely aged...so it's true that time's been weird then. Damn, I owe Harry money." He says and then nods. "Alright, no time to waste then. I assume you're aware of the Other Citadels that exist?"

"Yes." Tricia says.

"And you're able to travel between them, like the Freed?" He asks.

"Yes, you can't?" Lea asks.

Jonas shakes his head. "Temporarily at best. We open a random door and end up in a different one, but we either get found and chased by the Hooded Paladins, the Workers, or we open another door and end back up here. We've obviously been marked. Which means that you are in a vital position. We can't send the freed to fight or do much but recon and supply grabs. If they fight, we end up losing them to Citadel or the slaughter out there. So, I assume you didn't come in here blindly, but we need your help in freeing ourselves to be able to move around before we can be of any use."

"Okay." You say. "How?"

"From what we can tell, the Paladin Captains, the ones in the golden masks, are the main controllers. They send orders to the others, and keep things operating. If we can take out one of them, then the Freed can move us all from here to another Citadel, and we'll be able to set up a new base. This part is locked in War."

"Can we take out the War Commander?" Mage asks.

"We've tried. We've done it too, twice. It doesn't help us in moving. We need to take out one that's on a different layer." He says.

"What about the 'other' Paladin Serpent, Princess?" Lea asks.

Jonas grins. "She's our recruitment mascot. She's busy with her handler. Don't expect great conversation from the girl though, she's still learning. It's slow going though. Letters confuse her, but she's getting it." Janos sighs. "I'm sorry to give you the bum rush without the tour, but if the time thing is like you said, then every moment is precious, plus the sooner we're clear of this level, the better."

"Is it really that bad here?" Peri asks. "It's for people who love to fight."

"It's more than that." Janos says. "Other levels, people feed, breed, live, thrive, make things for Citadel, and then when they're used up, they get dropped down here to fight and die against the Savage, the Rioters, the Paladins and their Worker Things. When they die, they don't get fixed or reborn or moved. This is where Citadel feeds."

"We're inside a new Maw?" Tricia asks. "Great, just...just great!"

"I assume that's a bad thing." Janos says. "All the more reason why my people need to get OUT of here, as soon as possible, if not sooner."

Welp, there goes spaying/neutering.

"I'm impressed by your operation here, and it seems we have a lot to catch up on. I'm all for helping you move your people to another citadel- but I need your help while I'm doing that. I've brought a prisoner in, she's from the phoenix empire. There's two groups of people in here from there I'm dealing with, both hostile to me, one of which wants to work some foul soul warping magic using citadel, one of which wants to stop them. She's with the latter. I need you to use your freed to help find the former, the soul-jiggering ones, while my people clear out the another citadel's management for you.
Any preferences on that by the way? If not, I might go and marvel at how apparently domestic nagas can talk while you decide."

And I don't know if Youth is actually youngzone. It could be one giant kindergarden, or it could be where the population goes to breed, as Janos mentioned. I'm betting on the latter, but if it's the former we can work with that.

I mean, we could screw with Citadel's registry and have the nurse things convinced that Shadow Company is all a bunch of children. They then get left alone.
>>
>>26747267
ah, I see. Well, I'm not opposed to it, even though the fall feasting halls would be niiiice.

We'll just have to wait on echo for it.

Forget youngzone for a second, what's Aged like? I mean, if Citadel sends people to War when it's done with them, why have Aged? Because I'd assume that's a giant nursing home.

Maybe old people are still useful to it. Alternatively, it's full of archeologists and indiana joneses.

"Well, we cu off it's mouth, makes sense it would grow a new one." You say. "Oh, are you still up for that divorce?"

Jonas and Lea both laugh. "If she's still alive and remembers me? Sure."

"Okay, first thing we'll do once we're out of the frying pan. I'm impressed by your operation here."

"Yeah, we're trying to keep the fighting down as much as possible and get as many people here behind our lines as we can." He says. "You actually arrived in our controlled territory, we've gained a lot of ground. Not that it matters much in Citadel, being as big as it is, but with the Freed running supplies, we can hold out for a while. Still, all it takes is one bad stroke of luck or one bad mistake." He shrugs. "We need to get out of here, that red sky is making my head hurt."

"Well, I'm all for helping you move your people to another Citadel- but I need your help while I'm doing that. I've brought a prisoner in, she's from the Phoenix Empire. There's two groups of them in here, both hostile to me, one of which wants to work some foul soul warping magic using Citadel, one of which wants to stop them. She's with the latter.

"I need the Freed to help find them, while I'm getting you a way out of here." You say.

"Done." He says. "I'll get them looking for disruptions. If they're from the Empire, then odds are they'll stick out and cause problems. That means the Paladin Things will be on them."

"Alright." Peri says. "Sounds like we have a plan."

"Okay, do you need supplies?" Jonas says.

"We're doing good." Mage says.

marvelous, we'll be able to get a location on that soul-magus and stop him before he does any garbage.

After that, we're free to get people ready for our move on the heart.
>>
>>26747346
"Alright, then I really need to get you folks moving as quickly as possible." Jonas says. "I'm sorry about the bum rush, but it's vital that we g-"

"We get it, we get it." Peri says. "You're sick of this and want out ASAP. So we wont stick around to chat with everyone and talk to Princess."

"I'm sorry, but I found that the swifter you move, and the more dramatic the move, the longer it takes for Citadel to catch up to you." Jonas says. He nods and a different freed comes. Blindfolded and wrapped in quilted fabric from head to toe. "This is Yvonne. She'll get you to a Door. I don't care WHAT Citadel you get us into, just that it happens fast."

"Where will we find the Paladin Commander?" Mage asks.

"They're always in the same place. The Grand Arena." Jonas says.

"Figures." Mage says. "They would put something dangerous right on top of a Spike." He waves his hand at Jonas. "Different issue, don't worry. This actually works for us."

"Great. Thanks. Go." Jonas says. "I have to make sure that the Worker Things aren't trying to smoke us out again."

You follow Yvonne through the Theater Bunker, just the same as Janos, everyone seems to be moving at double speed, in a frantic flurry of activity. Maybe that's another reason why time seems to be so swift here.

You go out of the bunker and Yvonne takes you across the street into a place that looks like it used to sell fish, as food or pets you're not sure, but the smell is certainly that of the former presence of fish.

She points at a door in the back. -Works for Freed, not for Shadow Company.- Yvonne's note says. -Good luck. Be quick.-

"Can you come with us?" Tricia asks. "Help us pick which Citadel we end up in, like Odette did?"

She shakes her head. -Different for living things. Can lead from there TO here, know paths, harder other way from here to there. Dangerous.- She tears off a scrap of herself and gives it to you. -Hold. Will know where you land. Follow you, find safe path once way is open.-
>>
>>26747402
"Well, I'll see you on the other side, then. Will we meet right after we arrive, or after we visit the arena?"

Then, as we are leaving
"I hope we get a good one this time, the last ones were poor at best."

Lunging, or swinging. Or inertia.

We might be able to chat with them directly after the move. They'll probably thank us for helping them out. There might even be a celebration, since this will more or less mean the end of endless warfare for them (the final fight in Citadel notwithstanding).

Well, who knows. It could be accurate, or no. Doesn't really affect our behavior IC or OOC, but it's neat to know.
>>
>>26748123
Nope. 10 sends you right around. 8 sends you someplace different.

You open it up...and look around. This is...different. The great grand city is gone, sort of.

The roofs are now thatched with hay, and the walls are stones stacked and packed tight together. The roads are dirt, and you see people driving a herd of goats down along the road. The air is very...clean. There's no smell of soot or ash or Civilization in it. There's a gentle light coming through it all, and the sounds of people quietly enjoying the day.

"This is Citadel in the First Age." Mari says. "Well...not really. I mean if it was we'd be knee deep in fish guts and shit."

"It's a Citadel version of the past." Lea says.

"Yeah, I think I'm gonna..." Mage turns around and flaps his arms against his side. "And the door is gone, great."

There's a ripple and Yvonne walks out from the wall. She looks around and then writes.

-Past. This could be advantageous in a few ways...not so much in others.-

"You don't say." Tricia says.

-It is least occupied, and least monitored. However, any aberrations are easily spotted if seen and heavily dealt with. Still, good staging area and once Paladin Commander is dealt with, area will be dark for an extended period .- She shrugs. -There are worse options. If you like, we can risk moving again, but move too much and we'll be noticed as a deviation.-
>>
>>26748332
This is fine. Let's not risk it. Besides, we'll use our modern stuff to send whoever we fight back to the Dark Ages.
>>
>>26748332
I think past is fine for the time being- we can always plot another jump if we need to move again, right?

"I suppose this will do. I mean, it's much better than what I've seen so far, and we can always do this again later if we draw too much attention."
"Well, that and I appreciate the fresh air. It's like we're out on the road again."
>>

>>
>>26748397
The area is going to be dark for a WHILE once we kill the level boss. So it will be fine enough.
>>
>>26748397
yeah, but it WOULD make a good staging area to move somewhere else.
Get them out of war. They're losing time there, which is precious.
>>
>>26748430

I guess we're off to the arena. I wonder if there will be a crowd.

In ye old Citadel? Maybe.

Our plan could be to enter as a combatant. Claim to be a first generation lamia and that'll be our ticket in. Everyone has to act the part or the alarms will blare. We might even have to ditch our gear.
>>
>>26748559
you know now that I think about it the past specifically was where we weren't accepted at all. I hope we're more a curiosity and less a pitchfork-getting incident.

Well that's the idea. We're an exotic themed fighter in the arena.
>>
>>26748585
we may or may not need one of our team members to act as our coach/trainer depending on era mindset.

I nominate Lea, since she was an arena trainer for a job before.
>>
>>26748610
That's perfect, but what about the others? Trica and MeriPeri we can dress as civvies, but Mage... that requires knowledge of the magic used at the time.

I think that's a good enough plan.
>>
>>26748672
yeah, assuming they're still running the place like the arena.

Which I hope they are, that would be fun.
>>
"I suppose this will do. I mean, it's much better than what I've seen so far, and we can always do this again later if we draw too much attention.

"Well, that and I appreciate the fresh air. It's like we're out on the road again." You say as you start out.

"Why does anyone want to live in the past like this?" Peri asks.

"Some people think it had its superior charms and simplistic beauty." Lea says. "They forget that most of it was shoveling shit."

The arena is less of the grand building/pyramid/coliseum that it is in other Citadels, and more of a large flat ground, surrounded by a fence made of sticks, colored banners of all types hang in the air.

There's a sound of combat, and then a mighty HUZZAH from the crowd.

You all peek over the fence to look. You see a group of people sitting on a raised stage. And they're dressed in finery, there's crowds, and lots of people waving and cheering at the armored warriors in the center of the field. This isn't an area...this is an old tournament.

A woman in full silver armor, with a mantle and a golden masked helmet stands up on the stage.

"Her Majesty Queen Naomi Chrysanthemum Newgate gives her favor to the warrior in...silver! All hail!"

"HAIL! HAIL!"

(cont)
>>
>>26748740
You see a woman who has the unmistakable hair and nose of a Newgate. She's...well she's not fat but she's at that age where even a few extra pounds makes a girl look awkward, and her face is a little spotty...but give her a few years and she'd be a knock-out, no question. She's dressed in an old style, royal gown, with fur shoulders and a crown and the works.

"Next, the Great and Mighty Knight of Silver...shall face one of his most unique foes." The Paladin Commander says. "A champion from across the seas...a warrior of the East, Hail the Knight of the Phoenix Empire!"

The crowd roars and you see three hooded paladins throw a man into the muddy field, face first, tossing a Phoenix Style blade next to him.

You recognize him. That's the kid who used those statues back in the jail break...only now he doesn't have his toys. He's just dressed in a poor copy of what people think the Empire wore back in those days. Wide shoulders, cloth, and a lot of feathers.

"And now, for her Highness' entertainment!" The Paladin Commander says. "FIGHT!"
>>
>>26748745

Though, we have a whisper flute. We can tell him to act like he's casting a spell, and then show up to help him. Best chinese fighting magic ever.

And don't sweat the delays too much. I only mention it because I worry constantly.
>>
>>26748782
>PE guy doesn't win
Woah, why not? He's one of kingfisher's crew, we could sail in there and save/capture him easy, while simultaneously killing the head citadel thing of the area.

Multiple simultaneous birds with one stone.
>>
>>26748802
But if he does win the fight, then the PE might gain control of this sector. That could be the game we're playing with Kingfisher.
>>
>>26748810
I don't quite think it works like that. If EITHER of us win, the area goes blank.
After that, forces can move in, whether it be ours or his. And I think our force is larger. His is just spies.

His spies and our army will co-exist in location, and spies and armies tend to do.

>>26748824
Well, either way, we need to get into costume/character quickly.
