You are Yuri Ivanov, a Corporal in the Tesenturian Reserve Corp and well….shit happened to you, after partying with some comrades in celebration for a series of peace treaties and creation of a lasting stable government. Meaning that for the first time in its history will ensure that the neighboring countries will cease hostiles and that the government itself will ensure that it will keep together and not fall from the various factions that once plagued the old one thus ensuring a long awaited peace.Or at least it should have after being enlisted on a patrol along with several new recruits by your closest friend and now superior Sergeant Maya Salko which took you on the outskirts of the city in which you were ambushed by remnants of an old faction. After a couple of skirmishes with the enemy which left your forces with a few wounded, one dead, and you almost dying by the end of a knife but otherwise the battle was a success. However a strange bright light suddenly envelops the both of you in which you managed save her by pushing her out of the way.Now you’re in a the Capital of this strange fantasy esque world shopping for things with your…benefactor/kidnapper in a sense and are now browsing a set of short blades until a voice interrupts you suggesting something bigger.
>>26879003“You’re right maybe I should get a hatchet instead.” You mumbled considering the fact but compared to the handle and power of a hatchet a knife will still be more versatile. “No, you fool a sword.” The voice rattles away causing the shopkeeper to frown. “Nothing says, intimidation and power then a sword.”“Now what makes you so sure?” You begin to say but no one id there even Half-pint who was browsing the knives with you didn’t know where the voice was.“Over here.” The voice beckons coming from the barrel filled with swords?Huh? Is there a person hiding in there? You walk over there to confirm your theory but no one is there only a bunch of old swords.“Down here.” The voice resounds from the barrel in which you notice the small part of the swords begins to move as if in a talking motion. “Sup, name’s Derfinger.”You take a moment, paused, and proceeded to take a swig of your wine-skin.>What do you say or do>Keep drinking, talking swords is the sobriety talking. >other
>>26879020>otherJust ask "Excuse me, but... who, or WHAT are you exactly?"We've probably seen some magic shit by now, so a talking sword might be weird, but not that weird...
>>26879180Seconding. We arn't that surprised I'm sure. And with a nice calming swig, we should be good
>>26879020Look at the wine skin "Well this is in no way strong enough to deal with this." Take another swig.
>>26879020>>otherWonder what else was in that wine-skin.
>>26879020"What's your credit like? How long have you been fighting? Any special tactical knowledge? Any skill you can teach me?Convince me that you'll be more useful to me than a knife or hatchet. I normally go with guns and a sword is a really horrible backup for that."
>>26879020"Louise, I need your help here. Tell me if this sword is really talking or not."
>>26879636See, this is a good point, but not as opening line. A bit later in the conversation, though!
>>26879718I based that on the idea that we first do the double-take. We also give Louise and the shop owner each a sip of the wine skin to make sure that it's ONLY wine.
>>26879741>to make sure that it's ONLY wineAre you suggesting that Marteau may have slipped us some Absinthe?
Rolled 16 + 3>>26879696So the consensus is to question the reality of the thing, and then ask what it is?
>>26879762>AbsintheI remember my experience with Absinthe.I hate being drunk. And feeling that my inner-ear balance organs are out of synch is a really horrible thing.
>>26879814Considering it contains the same shit you find in LSD, yeah, Absinthe would be bad news...>>26879788Yep.
Rolled 19 + 3>>26879788Also in the meantime can I have a consensus of a knife or short blade, the type and a picture is very appreciated
>>26879913>Considering it contains the same shit you find in LSD, yeah, Absinthe would be bad news...I didn't even know that.I thought it was only alcohol. And I didn't feel anything outside the scope of being drunk.
>>26879915There is only one correct choice.
>>26879958http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absinthe#EffectsI'm learning something new every day on /tg/.
>>26879958Did you drink it in the US? American absinthe doesn't have the good stuff in it because drugs are bad.
>>26879958Ah, but when did you drink it? Modern distilled absinthe no longer uses whatever was responsible for the presence of the psychedelic substance.
>>26879915I vote for a Messer greatknife
>>26879946>mfw I had one of those>mfw my dad threw it away for insane reasons while I was away

>>26880125Meant to quote>>26880034>>26880036But then I accidentally F5 and my post killed itself. I almost smashed my own head for this.
since posting pics of swords, i find this related
>>26880207I mention dagger/short blades not swords.Where is the pastebin for Yuri, I need to update it>Also finishing writing
>>26880207nice. So we need some sort of consensus on the type of knife
>>26880258http://pastebin.com/wxQX1CK6theres the pastebin, also the sword >>26880207 posted is Derf.
Man, sup/tg/ really needs to let me use the Tomorrow style on it, I can hardly stand the standard blueboard look nowKeep drinking and buy Derflinger, he's good for dirty jokes.
>>26880263We can definitely agree that it should be a backup weapon. No use in a big knife or something when we have a bayonet.A hatchet would be nice for fortification purposes. Otherwise, we get a multi-utility knife... If they have that kind of stuff.
>>26880263Yes I need consensus also if possible can someone update the history on Tesenturia on the pastebin or tell me how to do so
>>26880258Well, it kinda depends on what the smith can forge: a multi-usage kukri-like short "cleaver" or a machete-like blade would be nice (because those, you know, can be used for more than just stabbing someone), providing they dafuq can provide this!
>>26880350Just copy the text out of it and make a new pastebin when you want to update it.>>26880345The Nagant Bayonet is nothing more than a metal spike. It doesn't even have a cutting edge. so a large knife can be useful for the utility it can provide outside of combat
>>26880258You briefly look at the sword then back at the half-pint and then to the blacksmith who merely shrugs and then to sword again before looking back at the pink haired girl who cannot be sixteen. “Hey Half-pint, I need your help here.” You said to Louise forgetting all formality and calling her by her personnel nickname. “Tell me if this sword is really talking or not.”The girl nods also slightly shocked probably this is the first time a talking sword. This is not good, you recall certain comrades and soldiers who stayed in combat for so long they begin to talk to their weapons giving them names and sometimes even whispering to them like their lovers.Even Maya at some point began to pet her M14 like it was a small pet.And a sword you never met is talking to you…."Well this is in no way strong enough to deal with this." You muttered as you look at your wine-skin before taking several long swigs at the drink while looking at the blade. “Now excuse me, but... who, or WHAT are you exactly?"“Didn't I tell you before kid, name’s Derfinger.” He announces proudly. “And can’t you tell that I’m a sword, seriously and I thought the blacksmith over there was slow.”“Bought that blasted sword in bulk with a bunch of other materials and has not stopped talking since.” The blacksmith said in frustration. “I’ll make you a deal buy your knife or whatever and I’ll sell that cheap.”“Hey, I’m a sword a proud sword and you’re selling me as a side deal to some dinky kitchen utensil!” The Sword talks offended at the deal. “Hey bro let me at him.”..Well he’s certainly chatty >What do you say or do?>Do we have consensus?
Derflinger, there's an l.And take the deal
>>26880535Well, basically this: >>26879636. Why should we agree? We ask Derfinger to sell itself to us.Kinda like Revan does to HK-47 in the first KotOR game.
>>26880535Obviously buy Derf, but as to the knife I'm not seeing any sort of concensus
>>26880535See >>26880578We might not want a sword, but an experienced mind might be useful.
>>26880535"Whoa there buddy. There's no need for a proud blade, such as yourself, to get into a small confortation such as this, right?"Take the deal
>>26880535So we question the sword in front of the blacksmith for it's perks? Also what about knives?
>>26880767From the suggestions and pictures it seems like a knife with both combat and utility uses, and larger than a combat knife.
Why not this shit to /a/
>>26880939Red. Because ice cream has no bones
>>26880535"What's your credit like? How long have you been fighting? Any special tactical knowledge? Any skill you can teach me? Convince me that you'll be more useful to me than a knife or hatchet. “You questioned the sword suppressing the slight shutter at the thought though it came much more naturally to you than expected but then again considering all the other stuff you've seen so far it’s to be expected. “Why are you asking me?” He asked surprised at your sudden questioning. “I’m a sword, you swing and I cut that’s normally the idea right? Well I suppose that I’m a good conversationalist so if you’re lonely and need a good talking I could do that I guess.”If a sword could shrug you think it will do so now.“Not to mention, I’m bigger and what knife or glorified ax can do that?”>What do you say or do?
>>26881148Scratches chin "Weeelll a knife is easier to conceal, has a lot of utility uses, and it doesn't talk. However I can get you and get the knife for cheap as well. I think I'll take it."
>>26881148"What's the best utility knife in this shop? I need something that can do more than stab people.I'm not a tank driver, so I don't need a sword."Ignore the sword.
>>26881488He seems awfully eager to get rid of the sword, haggle and then grudgingly accept.
>>26881571I'll agree to that
Can I get a link to archived version of the previous one? I sorta missed what happened between now and when we started playing in the streets.
>>26881664https://archive.foolz.us/tg/thread/26815575/A bit of the end off of the thread was not archived on suptg
>>26881488Can you give me a roll to see how successful you are
Rolled 11>>26881841Let's rape the blade.Put it into Louise. Handle first.
Rolled 3>>26881841hagglin' like quasi-soviet scum
Welp, looks like haggling ain't our forte!
Rolled 17>>26881841Slavic haggling mode activated.
>>26881884>>26881905>>26881917>>26881933So the highest roll is the one that votes for raping the sword with the girl?>>26882083Also, I bet that this roll implies that no one will want to seel us anything after we "haggle" the slavic way.
>>26882154Honestly, I was just thinking that we try to trick the salesman thinking the blade is cursed and we could buy it if the cost of consecrating the blade + the cost of blade would be less than the cost of an used sword.
Rolled 14"Oy vey, this price is worse than holocaust"
Rolled 3>>26882254Naaaaah, if the haggling fails we can just threaten to spread rumors about him selling really obnoxious cursed weaponry, that or that he's got syphilis.Whichever works.
Rolled 5>>26882300"For this money I could reverse-engineer nuclear weaponry"
>>26881841 You begin rubbing your chin in contemplation of the blacksmith’s deal thinking you can get a better deal out of the poor bastard.“Well I don’t know…” You muttered looking at the sword. “This sword is awfully chatty and I think it will it be more quiet once it leaves your humble shop.”“Your point?” The Blacksmith obviously knowing your game but his glare not relenting. “Well obviously if I left unsatisfied over this deal, it will agitate this poor sword probably crying and whining for days on end.” You smile. “and I’m sure a smart business man like you will know what that will mean.”Highest Roll 17“Fine, you can have him for free.” The blacksmith sighs obviously he’s cursing you under his breath. “You still pay full price for the knife though, no more negations.” >What do you say or do?>After doing so what do you do now?
>>26882690Shake the mans hand. "Deal." Pay for the knife and leave. "So Louise was there anything you wanted to take care of whilst were were in town? "
>>26882690Shake the mans hand buy the knife also see if we can fin an alchemist to buy the resources to make gun powder
Finish the deal and accompany louise to wherever she wants to go.
>>26882816Gunpowder is a military resource and considering that in the novel has only a single corp of Musketeer and mostly relies on conscripts and noble mage to fight in wars. It will be hard to acquire
>>26883116yeah but the stuff needed to make gunpowder istn't that hard to find I was thinking of getting the stuff and making our own
>>26883144we would need the precise tools and equipment for that. Besides today is being paid for on Louise's coin. She doesn't have a lot of money for a noble so until we can find a way to earn our own income it might be better to leave it as something for later
>>26883271ah I missed that part so that will wait but make basic gunpowder isn't that hard depending on what type of powder we want to make.
>>26883352her "allowance" is low iircWell making gunpowder is still a dangerous and needs to be fairly exact for the better quality, so things like measuring scales and the proper storage containers and facilities would be needed, and we can't really store kegs of powder in Louise's room.
Charcoal, saltpeter and sulfur are what's needed for making blackpowder. Charcoal we can make easily. Saltpeter we could technically make as well, but it'll take so long it's not worth it. Sulfur is something we'd have to pay for ourselves as well, but it is (at least on earth) an abundant material.Afterwards, even if we have all materials, we'd need to figure out a way to come up with the correct mixture. Luckily, we have access to a library, but we kinda need to learn to read properly and keep ourselves on the good side of the school and louise. Not that I'm suggesting we make enemies of them, but it's worthy of noting.
>>26883413I know next nothing about what this quest is based on but if we could start producing black powder do you think we could make a profit on it or increase Louise's standing
>>26883413We seriously need to find/establish a secret base of operations.
>>26882690You shake the blacksmith’s hand and smile. “Deal, pleasure in doing business with you.”“Whatever. “He snorts obviously displeased as the Half-pint hand him the money for the knife in which looks similar to that of kukri design and obtained sheaths for both blades. “Thanks man.” The sword spoke up and glee filled his voice. “I thought I was going to rust in that barrel.”“Aren’t you already rusted?” “Touche.” You look towards the Half-pint and ask what she wants to do now that all of the things you wanted to do.She only grins and begins to walk properly probably like what a noble lady should and tells you to just follow her lead. You nod and spent the rest of the day just walking through the streets of the capital enjoying the view and liveliness of the crowds and keep an eye on the half-pint as she window shops and browse through the items. You begin to slightly wonder if she’s financially stable or frugal since the stuff she does buy and you are forced to carry but while you know these items are quite pricey but the half-pint is buying them at discount prices. When the sun begins to shift in the other direction, you’ve began to (grudgingly) ride on horseback to the school and return to the dorm as night begins to surface. Once escorting the girl up to her dorm you pause as just when you reached the room, you hear noises.>What do you do or say?
>>26883596Hold a finger to lips indicating silence, then draw revolver and open the door.
>>26883596Investigate noises, full combat readiness.
>>26883462we could speed up the process for the saltpeter using bodies like what the Japanese use to do in the fedual times >>26883596signal her to stay draw pistol if we brought it and breach the door
>>26883649[VVN] No>>26883596Motion her to be quiet, draw pistol and peep through the door
>>26883716Actually, using horseshit provides better results than corpses.
>>26883812hmm I havn't heard of that method. probably more acceptable to use then bodies as well
>>26883716>>26883812The problem with this and making gunpowder in general is that we are an engineer, not a scientist, so I highly doubt that they taught how to make gunpowder in the engineer corps
>>26883849Though they probably taught us how to make a variety of nasty traps. Such as a bomb that activates once an uneven painting is set 90 degrees.
>>26883849It's a pretty simple process even i know it and I'm not even in the army plus the fact that its in dozen of books I think our guy could figure it out by trail and error
Signal Louise to be quiet, look through keyhole to try and establish visual on target, if it's nobody we know, we burst into room and pin the target on the floor.
>>26883596You stay still your combat senses on full alert as you stop the half-pint from advancing to the door. She was about to protest obvious fatigued from today’s activities but silence her by clasping your hand over her mouth while using the other to your own signifying silence. Understanding your intent she nods and stay silent as you then proceed to pull out your revolver while leaving the stuff bought by the Half-pint to the side and you kick open the door and set your sights on…A blue haired kid with red framed glasses reading a book on the Half-pint’s bed. Before you contemplate or ask who she is you were suddenly jumped at the side and before you notice you were robbed of your sight and instead felt a soft sensation on your face.“Ki-Kirche!, What are you doing with my Familiar!” You hear the Half-Pint shrilled yelling obviously ignoring your order.“My, My, Louise you shouldn't interrupt.”>What do you say or do?
>>26884145*Muffled* What the hell is going on!?
>>26883596Thank her for the sword and clothes. Investigate the noises.
>>26884145"DEAR (Insert name of Tesenturian Leader here) WHY!?!?!"Flail around a sec before realizing if Kirche.
>>26883848Well, I remember hearing on history class that you made saltpeter with a mound of horseshit and brick tunnel. I don't exactly remember how the exact process happened, but apparently rainwater on the horseshit is supposed to cause a chemical reaction and the air traveling through the tunnel would make the vaporized water create saltpeter on the walls of the tunnel as the air traveled through. Again this process will take a LONG time.
>>26884145what this guy said >>26884167
>>26884145"Comrade Kirche, it is good to see your cleavage is still in order. How are you today?" said as deadpan as possible, no struggling and followed by "And Ms. ... I don't believe that we've been introduced. I am Yuri Ivanov, pleased to make your acquaintance."
>>26884241This. All the way.
>>26884223Can also use bat shit. This is information any combat engineer would know.
What do they teach you in Military Engineering anyways?

>>26884364Also We're tied between, asking what the hell is going on? or commenting on Kirche's endowed figure
>>26884385use >>26884241, you know you want to
>>26884385How about a compromise? First, what the hell's going on, then realizing it's Kirche.
>>26884241I say we go with this approach.Chances are we've seen our share of breasts already.
>>26884445Yes. growing up with a girl like Maya will do that.Author confirmed that Mikasa has the biggest tits in SnK
>>26884497>Biggest tits in SNK>Not AnnieSure
>>26884565I see what you did there.
>>26884385After a moment of staying in this position due to the situation your mind is currently trying to make sense or to obvious male instinct, you slowly detach yourself from her cleavage and faced her with an indifferent expression as you holster your revolver.“Miss Zerbst, it is good to see your cleavage is still in order. How are you today?" You asked your voice deadpanned not revealing any emotion before looking to the blue haired girl. "And Ms. ... I don't believe that we've been introduced. I am Yuri Ivanov, pleased to make your acquaintance."She only nodded her face never leaving her book only giving a small quiet reply. “…Tabitha.” Just before the name registered you felt your arm being envelop by the soft sensation that your face had experienced only moments before.“I’m just fine but didn’t I tell you to call me Kirche darling?” She snuggled into your arm. “Don’t you recall that private moment we had when I did?”You did, and remembered the fact several other boys showed up for their private moment and you proceeded for a tactical retreat in the chaos.“Don’t ignore me!.” The Half-pint yelled before pointing at the buxom red head. “What are you doing here and more importantly how did you get into my room it was locked!”“Ah isn’t it obvious to pick up my darling for a romantic night out in the moonlight, listening to ballads of love and adventure.” She says soothingly her finger tracing uncomfortably on your chest. “As for how we got here that’s a secret.”Though she says that and the half-pint not noticing as she was focusing on Kirche you notice a green eye appearing in the window before ducking back and then slowly peeking out again.>What do you say or do?
have we fed the dragon yet?
>>26884861Now that we've maintained a stoic composure to Kirche, we need to react happily to the dragon, greeting it warmly and happily, and if possible pet her. This should ignite jealousy in Kirche, which may or may not lead to her pining for our affections more. And that jealousy Louise can use to get a jab in at Kirche.
>>26884861"And hello to you too." While nodding to whatever is in the window. Then carry on the conversation as normal. And by normal, question why the hell they've broken into the room.
>>26884967I like this.
>>26884861"Well, I`ve had a busy day in town, and I have to say that I'm quite tired, really. Maybe some other time?"
>>26884861>>26884861"I think the answer lies with the owner of that familiar looking green eye."Walk to to the window and go see the owner of the eye. If you spot Silpheed give her a wave and say "hello friend"
>>26884967I approve of this idea
>>26884967You have my permission to proceed with this.
>>26884967Backing this right here
We must eventually show our talking sword that isn't cursed in any way and totally isn't pleading us to sate it's thirst with human souls while we are sleeping.
>>26885309Doing some work right now, might be back later
While OP is gone whats everyone's opinion on Yuri's prospects in this world? How about long term goals?
>>26885528I think #1 long term goal is to find a way home.Second to that I suppose is to find a living. Whether it's in the army again, as a guitar player, or even staying with Louise
>>26885528Besides getting back home? Well there hasn't really been a major crisis that interested him yet, so until we get to one, he just wants to get home.
>>26885528Home would be the main goal, failing that I'd say just go with the flow. It'll be one hell of a ride, whether or not we do anything on the side.
>>26885528Obviously, our big goal for now at least is to get back home.If you mean romantic prospects, either Tabitha or Agnes, accept no substitutes.
>>26886752>Tabitha or AgnesI can agree with these choices, you have fine taste anon.
>>26886752>>26887246>not going for the niceboat endingCome on Louise even has a boat, this plan is bulletproof.
>>26887487Louise is more or less daughter-tier. You help her out, teach her some cool shit, give her a sympathetic ear when she needs her, have creepy yet satisfying sex on occasion where she calls you daddy, you know just like in real relationships..
>>26887787>Writing, sorry the work took longer then I thought, this will be the last post of the night
>>26889536What time zone are you on OP? Just to have an aproximate window for your posting hours
>>26889640It's around 12:15 in the morning, weekends I might do longer posts but with university, hours will be not be constant
>>26889714Ah, finally a comrade you thought to yourself as you managed to shrug Kirche’s grasp and walk towards the window where the dragon is on the other side. “It’s you, how have you’ve been!”“Kyuuu!” The Dragon responds happily as it licks you while you try to calm it down.“H-Hey quit it.” You laugh as you pet it while unknown to you a certain red hair puffs her cheeks in disappointment while the Half-Pint smirks.“Guess the Zerbst charm isn’t all that’s cracked up to be.” She says each word barbing at the Zerbst.“Least I have charm…” She replies with a wave of her hair. “Don’t forget that your nickname ‘Zero’ isn’t just because of your magic talent for example, zero looks, zero sex appeal, more specifically zero bre-"You kind of tune them out at that point in which you can tell that it’s turning into a screaming match.“Who’s a good dragon, who’s a good dragon?” You cuddled it by scratching at it’s favorite places you learn by trial and error this past week….“….She’s a girl.”You raise an eyebrow before looking at the blue haired girl.“She’s a girl not an it, her name is Sylphid.” She explained though you never called her it in front of her presence before maybe she just assumed?Just when you were about to question her.“Why You!”“Bring it on washing board!”It seemed that the situation escalated as you see wands drawn.>What do you say or do
>>26890202Bring yourself in between the two girls so that they do not fight. (May need to go to the med. ward after this though)
>>26890202I don't think we're fans of rooms exploding that we're currently in. Break it up. Then find out what they are really doing in our room.
>>26890202Roughly disarm both wand-wielders, those things are worse than guns. Lecture them on wand-safety (i.e. point them only on people you want to KILL) or don't draw them at all.
>>26890202"Ladies, if you want to kill each other at least take it outside. I'm having a perfectly nice conversation with Sylphid here."
>>26890202"Ah! Now I finally know her name! Sorry Sylphid, I didn't know till now so I wanted to keep it neutral till I met your summoner. Apologies Tabitha if I insulted you or your companion." turn to red"Zerbst, are you really so vein as to attack someone with so called "zero" skill? It would seem my impression of you being a strong, yet calm and noble lady was completely off... I am so disappointed."turn to pink."Louise you know a true noble wouldn't resort to violence after such a poor insult... and you know it ain't always about size. Men usually focus in other areas..."
>>26890202Ignore tittybeast and half-pint, acquire Sylphid-petting and Tabitha-befriending.
>>26890355Also ultimate goal this.
>>26890202Considering we experienced Louise's magic first hand, I suggest overturning a table and getting Tabitha behind cover.
>>26890714This as well as our demo kit and any nades we have. Don't want a secondary explosion
>>26890714I also vote this actually. Time to score points with blue.
Turn to Kirche and Louise"You two aren't nearly drunk enough to have an excuse to be fighting on your day off so break it off."Resume petting Dragon"Anyhow, it seems we're finally being introduced Silphed, Yuri Ivanov a combat engineer""Speaking of introductions"Take out the talking sword"I don't think I know your name yet, sword"
>>26892491The sword has told us his name at least twice.
>>26892513Oh right, forgot, skip that part and introduce the sword to them
>>26890202"Excuse me for a moment Tabitha, Silpheed.Raise your voice and tell Kirche and Louise to stop fighting"If you two are going to start fighting indoors, you're going to have to explain to the teachers why you're causing a disturbance during a holiday." "Also, it's extremely rude to start fighting before everone have even had the chance to introduce themselves." (referring of course to the sword) "Come on Derfinger, introduce yourself to them"
>>26890202You were about to run to cover and bring the blue haired down with you but suddenly the two extended wands were suddenly blown away by a gust of wind effectively disarming them. You look at the girl besides you holding a staff in which you did not see on her person before, her face showing nothing but indifference as she continues reading her book only taking a small moment to speak. “Not indoors.”She has quite a quick draw…You take a moment to address the two wand happy witches…mages? Whatever they call themselves that doesn't change the fact you are not amused. "Miss Zerbst, are you really so vein as to attack someone with so called "zero" skill? It would seem my impression of you being a strong, yet calm and noble lady was completely off...” You stated calmly but your words carrying a sharp point in which the buxom women flinched from. “I’m disappointed.”At this point the Half-Pint grins at seeing her rival being lectured but is quickly deflated as your gaze shifted towards her. “Miss Valliere you know a true noble wouldn't resort to violence after such a poor insult... and you know it isn't always about size. Men usually focus in other areas..."You also take moment to wrap an arm around her and bring her to a corner as you whispered. “Also you should know by now how an explosive and an enclosed space will do to the structure not to mention for some of my…more delicate equipment.”You rather not die by your own explosives…You’ve seen your share of idiotic combat engineers on both sides that died by that cause. She nods though whether or not she caught what you mean by that but is interrupted by the red head. “So you say men usually focus in other areas.” The buxom smiles emphasizing her cleavage. “What will yours be as an example of course?”
>>26896988>What do you say or do?>Next update for this won’t be until a few hours later.
>>26896995>Sorry posting errorThe Half-pint definitely not amused of being side-tracked just for her to have another chance to hit you as she looks at you a bit of hostility in her eyes. “Then what do you suggest Yuri, even as a noble there are some things I cannot let slide!”
>>26896988Let's go for the overwhelming pre-emptive strike approach. Someting along the lines of: "Miss Zerbst, with due respect, you are a beautiful woman, but you have the destestable habit of considering men as trophies, not persons. Mere physical lust does not a relationship make!"
>>26896988>“So you say men usually focus in other areas.” The buxom smiles emphasizing her cleavage. “What will yours be as an example of course?”A true men loves the characteristics of the woman he loves. And outside of that, there's a huge amount of differing personal preferences.Men's tastes are not uniform. And, generally, they can focus on anything - The neck, your hands, there's more to it than just a big or small chest....This is probably to elaborate for the character. But fuck it. The writing style is giving me a stronger headache each day.
>>26897316Sorry, I wrote this during some free time in between classes. so the quality might be more iff then usual I apologize for that
>>26896988>“So you say men usually focus in other areas.” The buxom smiles emphasizing her cleavage. “What will yours be as an example of course?”"Ms. Zerbst if I told you that, it would take the fun out of you finding out on your own... buuuut I will give you a hint. A girls body is just a body to me.">>26897003"That is something to discuss later, Louise"
>>26896995"I'm a sucker for smart, quiet girls."
"Those who have engraved their names to my soul have been my old squadmates, whom I knew would look out for me as I would look out for them." "Every man and woman in the squad trusted their lives to eachother's hands and thanks to that we survived.""There's no greater treasure in the world than a person you can trust."
>>26898787>"Trust is my fetish" Oh hell yes.
>>26898787>>26897316I'd say a combo of these two as well as " Only boys care about your body more then you as a person"
Rolled 6 + 3>>26896995Just got back from university. Going to eat then post. Also so we tell Louise to have her fight later?
"A beautiful woman is a woman that perfectly suits a specific man's tastes. No one can influence that. But to be pretty, you just need to be healthy. Groom yourself and excercise. With excercise comes a healthy body. And with a healthy body comes a healthy mind. Both a healthy body and a healthy mind attract the attention of any man that isn't a filthy coward."
>>26900649"Louie their is a time and a place where you may settle this but a room that contains a large amount of highly explosive is not. I would not like to be held responsible for blowing up a school...again"
>>26900649im going for more of "I'll tell you how to get her later" then they can fight.
>>26900726Turn to tabtha " thank you you might have just saved us all from a fiery death
"Come on you two, you're not nearly drunk enough to be fighting on holiday."
>>26900726"Is your stupid dispute really worth risking your life for?I know that teenagers are insane. But please keep in mind that this room is filled with explosives. And even if you don't die the ironic explosive death, you will still regret damaging my gear.I have a gun. There are many like it. But THIS one is mine. And I can assure you that you backwards medieval wizard chucklefucks can NOT replace it."The idea is that we are starting off annoyed because of the potentially deadly fight and then get furious when we consider the possibility of Louise destroying our irreplaceable stuff just because of Kirche.
Tell Louise and Kirche that even if they did fight, the winner would gain nothing from it, except a lecture from teachers on how dissapointed they are on the fact that you chose to solve your problems through violence. "I should know, I experienced it first hand when I beat the blondie."
>>26900649"Miss Zerbest you are a beautiful woman with a sharp mind, but you are missing one particular thing. Trust. If you want a man to truly love you he has to be able trust you. As a soldier I've server with both men and women and I would give my life for them ten times over because I trust them, and I know they would do the same for me." Takes a swig of wine and a deep breath."Louise I won't tell you not to fight with someone who you have a grudge with, cause that would be the pot ringing up the kettle, but I will say. TIME AND A PLACE! If you so desire to blow each other up, then do it outside, just please for the love of god don't start blowing up things in the vicinity of a person carrying enough composition c to level this entire TOWER!"
"Duels are still banned gals, as are casual brawls I'd assume.""If the teachers start to think that you're spending off your free time picking fights, what do you think they'll do to your free time?"
>>26901371I've never really understood those pictures
>>26901098>TOWERAre you sure that you didn't mean "castle"?True, it would need to be spread out correctly...
>>26901440The adacemy is circular in shape with two of the towers being dorms (boys and girls) and the others for classes. The central tower is the main hall as well as offices and the vault, so it would take a fire mission from a b52 or artillery to destroy the entire castle.
>>26901736derp pentagon, the outer walls are a pentagon with towers at each of the pointsm and one in the center
>>26901736We need to meet the headmaster at some point...
>>26901655"Miss Zerbest you are a beautiful woman with a sharp mind, but you are missing one particular thing. Trust. If you want a man to truly love you he has to be able trust you. As a soldier I've served with both men and women and I would give my life for them ten times over because I trust them, and I know they would do the same for me." You explained to the fiery red head not in the mood for flirting as you take another swig of your wineskin only to find it empty due from the usage from the ride back on that stupid horse. This is the first time since you gotten here when you didn’t think too hard about your comrades back home and now you are when you’re sober. You then look at the Half-pint with an impassive glare. “Kid, I won't tell you not to fight with someone who you have a grudge with, cause that would be the pot ringing up the kettle, but I will say. TIME AND A PLACE!” You roared a little annoyed she didn’t get your hint earlier. “If you so desire to blow each other up, then do it outside, just please for the love of god don't start blowing up things in the vicinity of a person carrying enough composition c to level this entire TOWER!"Again you’ve seen enough engineers blow up by their own explosives. You do not want to become one of them.“Com-pos C?” She mumbles while backing away probably taking the hint that what you have is probably bad. You can only sighed as you look past Sylphid who is obviously frightened by your outburst or the fact that you can blow up the tower to see outside which is pitch black too late to bother Marteau for a refill. “Forget it.” You muttered the good mood from the day gone and replaced with exhaustion. “I’m going to bed.”
>>26902397You said goodbye to Sylphid who you pet and rubbed in her favorite places to show that you’re not angry and to Kirche and Tabitha, who has been looking at you with silence after your explanation but you can’t shake a feeling that she has a spark of ‘interest’ in her eyes. Tabitha on the other hand only nods indifferently and followed Kirche out. You only muttered good night to the half-pint before hitting the hay.>Give me a roll
Rolled 9>>26902407OK OP, whatever you say!
Rolled 12>>26902407d 20?
Ok people stop rolling before the dice gods curse us.
Rolled 11>>26902462Don't tell me what to do, nerd!
Hey OP just out of question, when you call for rolls is it highest of the first 3? or highest of all?
>>26902544Normally first 5 but if it's slow then 3
>>26902586Your sleep was a dreamless one, sleep that often came from exhaustion due to the physical labor that you had done earlier in the day when you were in the front.THUMP THUMPDigging a trench, reinforcing a pillbox, arming or disarming mines, even digging your own foxhole sometimes as stray shots firing overhead.THUMP THUMPAlways exhausting, never stopping, and always need to be aware or you get a bullet to the head.THUMP THUMPEven at night even when you slept an ear was always to the ground hearing the rhythm of artillery. To know how close they were by the vibration of the earth to get out and move when you sense they were getting a little too accurate.THUMP THUMPOr to be aware of heavy machinery coming your way and in turn to retreat or detonate the explosive you set earlier that day. THUMP THUMPA sound that often alerted you and many other of your comrades of what’s coming.THUMP THUMPA sound that when something large was moving you gets moving.THUMP THUMPHighest roll 17But you’re not home and this vibration if not from artillery or tanks. Your eye shoot open as grab your rifle and your heightened senses hearing a far ‘thumping’ sound.>What do you say or do?
Rolled 8>>26902968OH SHIT WE FORGOT ABOUT THAT THIEF LADY/BITCH.Umm...I say we investigate with a lot more caution than usual.
>>26902968Wake Louise, this probably isn't normal and if it's coming closer we need to get to safety.
>>26903035We don't need some kid tagging along. Grab our rifle and cautiously investigate
>>26903108But she's a good distraction, and she can make explosions happen. Think we may need some explosions soon.
>>26902968"Comrade Louise there is a rebel attack! Take cover they are shelling our position!"Not sure what this is, but we can use it to scare the poor girl.
Now that you think about it, would a PTSD flashback be suitable for this situation?
>>26902968Okay I need consensus, do we wake up the girl?Do we go alone?or we leave it alone?Other?
>>26903204This. We were just woken from our dreams of our comrades dying around us, our positions being shelled, our tanks being driven back, by an enormous booming noise. We just went full PTSD.If she doesn't get up quickly grab her and carry her.
>>26903261I completely agree with thisAlso, has thread been archived yet?
>>26903320not yet>>26903249I believe consensus is now scare the kid and investigate with her.
>>26903510now it has
>>26903261Hell we're probably going to go full flashback right now.
>>26903249Your heart is pumping, your mind racing that you in a world unlike your own and you expected it to be truly peaceful?A place where noble children gathered to study, noble children whose family will pay any price for their children. Disgruntled peasants uprising or maybe something more political. You let your guard down. You don’t know what is happening but the only thing you’re sure of now is that you got to move!“Hey Half-Pint” You shrugged the sleeping girl. “We need to move now!”“Mun-ya…” She mumbles before turning around.Your vision starts to shake slightly your heart beating so fast it’s almost painful. If you don’t move you’ll die, movement means life!“Goddamit.” You cursed as you take advantage of her small size and mount her on your shoulder opposite to your rifle.>You need to do something and soon.
>>26903858Make sure our revolver is loaded , and bug the fuck out
>>26903858Keep her on our shoulder, move to the side of a window and take a look through it, do our best not to have our head in view for long. Identify any potential threats or dangerous points outside. Then book it outside, keep to cover, keep listening for thumps, find a defensible location to put Half Pint, find what the enemy is.
>>26903858Make sure everything is loaded and haul our ass downstairs to the courtyard, yelling that the Enemy is attacking. We don't want to be in the tower when this thing comes crashing down.
>>26903858Run and yell that the enemy is attacking while trying to get out of the tower.
>>26903858Grab our kit and book it
>>26903858You check your weaponry as you check your rifle and revolver is loaded and set, you then see your newest addition and equip your knife to your leg while Derflinger who is asking you what is going on before stuffing him back into his sheath and put him on your back snug between your pack. You then bolt making sure you knock on every door you come across as you descend down the stairs of the tower. “Look alive ladies, we have company!”Just when you were about to get outside the tower you hear the half-pint slowly awaken from her sleeping state mostly likely from the yelling as the rapid descent down the stairs.“yu-Yuri? What’s going on?”>What do you say and your next course of actions
>>26904331"BIG THUMPING SOUND MEANS BAD THINGS HALF-PINT!! WE GOT TO GO!!"
>>26904331The artillery fire is approaching our position! We must fall back or be ground to dust!
>>26904331"Contacts are shelling our position Ma'am we need to exfil before the creeping barrage hits and grinds us to dust! "
>>26904331"Large thumping noises in the distance, probable enemy attack, you and the other kids are likely targets, might be artillery, you don't want to be in the area when artillery starts falling. Just trust me."
>>26904510Amending my proposition to >>26904552
>>26904558Oh, and open the tower door, stay behind cover, look around, identify any threats in the distance so we know if it's safe to move, find more cover to move to. Get away from the tower and to a defensible position where the halfpint isn't going to get hit by shrapnel. What direction is the thumping coming from, can we identify how many sources?
>>26904510You do know that Yuri can recognize the difference what is artillery and heavy machinery. He mention it doesn;t sound like artillery or like a tank.Though he does know it big and in the campus
>>26904624Oops. I thought we were going ptsd. nvm then.
>>26904624Ah, then tell her it's big and it sounds extremely dangerous.
>>26904658He is, but it's the fact that something big is coming and he's in the land of magic and dragons that's triggering more like a paranoid ptsd.Afterall if you hear something big and you don't know what it is, you move
>>26904624>>26904658I dont know about you guys but I've been going fuck with Louise.>>26904697seconded
>>26904715I still need a course of action besides telling her the situation
>>26904831I suggest we get her somewhere that would be well reinforced from attack, then investigate by ourselves. No doubt after this long we've taken note of all the most secure locations in this school.
>>26904831Get the half pint to a safe location then investigate
>>26904831Well the Girl's Dorm, the kitchen, The main tower but the last one you hear the thumping in that direction
>>26905049Let's head to the kitchen!
>>26905065A perfect opportunity to refill the wine skin.
>>26905049We need to get a these civilians out of danger, and get a safe vantage point on that thumping.
>>26905049Kitchen. where better to put a noble in nightgown than the kitchen filled with our bros?
>>26905098Maybe get a bite to eat too. You can't save the day on an empty stomach!
>>26905098>>26905129Guys the school is obviously under attack, and your wanting to waste time? After we find out it was something stupid and embarrassed Louise.
>>26905049Also the boy's dorm and Colbert is (if I recall is on the other side of the campus)
>>26905235Sorry, I got some work due so I'll be back in a little bit
>>26905517>Okay I'm back and I forgot to ask that I may need a roll of 20 to convince Louise to stay in the kitchen
>>26908021Though this will be the last post of the night
Rolled 1>>26908021>convince Louise to stay in the kitchenShe knows her place.that joke was too easy.
>>26908300no she doesnt aparently
>>26908021“No Idea” You muttered as you set her down. “However there’s been movement near the center of campus and it’s big and I don’t know it’s purpose is but the dorm room may be a target I need you to hide in the kitchen while I investigate.”“What do you take me for?” She narrows her eyes at you not pleased by your suggestion to hide. “I’m a noble and I have a duty to defend Tristain territory so telling me to go away….”“Is the most optional plan available right now!” You argued back cutting her off. “This is not facing that blond, we lack information on the situation right now and the motive of why something that big is there maybe nobles are part of the targets.”“Then we should go and deal with them now!”“Not until we get a view of the situation.” You replied as you glare at the half-pint. “Miss Valliere, since I’m technically a commoner I’ll be ignored if I don’t make contact. I will scout ahead and signal the staff if it’s anything out of hand however as a noble you are a target so until I finished my role then I’ll come back to do your duty as a noble but with proper information.”Highest Roll 17With great reluctance she nodded in which you gave a pat on the shoulder.“Good, if anything happens go ask Siesta or Marteau for help understand.” You said to her in which she gave another nod before running in the direction of the kitchen.>Now What do you do Say or do now?
>>26908755Go and scout ahead, head towards the sound of the thumping, keep our head on a swivel, look for a good vantage point to gather information from, take cover when possible, keep our rifle ready. Expect the unexpected.
>>26908755Take a deep long breath, lock and load, and start stealthing. Stay crouched cause magic. Take bomb materials and digging tools for quick rigging of traps at opportunities if hostiles can be acquired.
>>26908755put on the cloak we got cause dark colors at night, then grab our rifle and scout out the grounds.
Rolled 10Hostiles have breached the perimeter, WE NEED TO MOVE!
>>26908755Seek comrade Colbert, as an ex soldier he no doubt knows what may be happening, Get to Colbert and we get to the bottom of this.
>>26909467I'm not sure if we know he's a soldier yet, but since he is a teacher, I guess this would work.
>>26909634>“I was part of the military in my younger days” He says with a dry tone in his voice. “A very secret part of the military of the Tristain government in which I’m no longer a part of and the less said about it the better but let’s just say that I was around long enough to recognize another soldier.”We do, I thought it was a nice touch.
Good night thread.I bump so that you are not dead.Good night OPWherever you may be.Goodnight Dice, Goodnight 20's and 1'sGoodnight /tg/Goodnight 4chanBump
>>26909467If Colbert lives closeby, then we should get him, otherwise we scout and try to get a visual on the target without being spotted.
By the way, you can't detonate C4 easily, it's ridiculously stable. C4 cannot be detonated by a gunshot or by dropping it onto a hard surface. It does not explode when set on fire or exposed to microwave radiation. Detonation can only be initiated by a combination of extreme heat and a shockwave, such as when a detonator inserted into it is fired. So, pretty much the only thing that sets it off are explosions already on lethal radius, so we shouldn't be afraid of carrying it with us.
>>26914277True, but Yuri doesn't know if explosive magic might trigger the C4And he doesn't want to find out.I'll update in a few hours at the latest but I need a roll on our sneaking skills

>>26915542Best of 3 is a rule a lot of quest runners use actually.
>>26915576You want to start now?Or after this roll
>>26915652Sure. It makes the rolls more meaningful anyway
>>26915652Can we compromise at four? I think we'd have a little bit of an advantage when it comes to rolls because of our military service and experience.
>>26915693You know most quests only get one roll. You should feel lucky to even have 3.
>>26915793give an inch and they'll try and take a yard3 is fine OP
>>26915652Do it now, this could be fun.
>>26915652After this roll please.
Rolled 10 + 3>>26915652Okay after this roll,Ilk write after eatingAlso don't worry it's not a failure
>>26915256I know, but just making sure you're aware that it's not like it's nitroglycerin, so we can actually carry it in combat without being afraid of it blowing up if for example our backpack gets set on fire.
Rolled 11 + 3I'm aware, but remember this is the reserve corp in which we don't always get the best equipment. This goes for the engineers as well.
>>26916993You take out your cloak that you the half-pint bought for you earlier in the day using it’s darker shade of color to help blend in to the darkness of the night. As you trudge forward to the source of the sound you try to stay out keeping to the darkest shades of the night and finding cover whenever you could in this clear courtyard. When your eyes finally used to the darkness your heart beats several times faster. It was a golem, a very big golem one that is breaking through the wall of main building.Or to put it more accurately it was roughly half the size of the main campus building which is quite a big elaborate piece of work by itself. It was not like the blond’s golem that you had encountered in your duel which was much smaller and more detailed to be human-shaped.This one is other then it’s massive size it seemed to take a more monstrous appearance that which judging my it’s massive stone arms that it was built for offensive or destruction of fortifications. How did something that big get in here? You recall your previous encounter with a golem in which apparently users of magic can bring about from the earth. This is ridiculous…THUMP THUMPThough despite its massive size it’s trying to be as quiet as can be making minimal movement as it shifts between removing sections of the wall and moving to place it the side.Highest Roll 12What could i-SNAPYou cursed as you look down to see a broken twig under your foot, what a fucking cliché to be done it now!You look up and see the golem pausing from its work either or maybe the caster heard the sound but from what you can see that it doesn’t know your position.>What do you say or do?
>>26918264The solution is obvious. We shout for Louise.Tell her to come. And blast that fucking thing apart. She's an explosion mage. Let's give her a boost in self-confidence.
>>26918264Since we are in the shadows don't move, don't move what so ever. Don't even breath. Yuri is not here, only the shadows. They will eventually go back to work. In the meantime just use our eyes and try to discern the casters location
>>26918359Yeah shouting is going to attract the attention of the multistory golem which could easily run our ass down in a few strides. Not to mention the mage.
>>26918417It will also get it to stop whatever it is doing. It's pounding the castle. Maybe students will die if we DON'T distract it.Also, where exactly is the kitchen? We'd have an advantage if Louise was in a high place with free line of sight.
>>26918486The kitchen is a side building along the outside wall. Also the golem is pounding on the central tower. The dorms are all the outside towers. There shouldn't be anyone in the central tower. Unless Osmand sleeps in there, but who knows where he sleeps.
>>26918540Then even better! We have full line of sight. Let's pound that golem into oblivion.Tell Louise to fire EVERYTHING at it.Meanwhile, we search for a mage.
>>26918663"She's not with us. She went toward the kitchens. We're solo at the moment. Right now we have the element of surprise. Wasting that is a extremely foolish idea. If we stay still and stay hidden then we can find and geek the mage with no fuss.
>>26918389This. We must find the caster and ambush them with the nugat, and if all else fails thats what explosives are for.
Rolled 14 + 3>>26918264....how did the summary for this in the archives end up like this?
>>26918800Did suptg fuck up the post or something OP?
>>26918827No, just slightly surprised or a little worried about people thinking this as a harem quest..by the summary. Also sorry, for the late reply but can I get a roll for your silence
>>26918885>It turned out as we feared comrades, every girl was in fact crazy for this Tesenturian army man. Yuri has gained Derf and met Tabitha, only to be awakened by thunderous thumping.Who the hell wrote that description? Hell I archived #4 and kept that to the bare minimum>>26918916Nice.
>>26918885You with every fiber of your being kept quiet and so low to the ground you might as well have meld into the earth. You’re held your breath yet your heart beats several times stronger than normal as you eyed the stony monstrosity for a few moments before it returns to work making an opening large enough for a person to comfortably jump in and out of.Highest Roll 17Then you see the caster hiding within the golem as its caped form under the cover of darkness made it impossible to accurately describe its gender let alone who it is. Seemingly confident that on one was there at the moment but taking this as a moment to hurry along it jumped into the opening the golem at an angle blocking it from this side of the courtyard making it impossible to make a shot here.>What do you say or do now?

You squeeze the trigger.Highest Roll: 9-2= 7You feel a warm feeling in your right hand as the runes gave a small glow.Special Power 7+3=10The sound of rifle crackles throughout the quiet night as the round due to either the wind, the darkness, and even you misjudging the distance flies missing the center mass.“guh!” You hear the Thief grunted though it missed your intended target the bullet just barely grazing its left shoulder as the Thief sets down the box on top of the golem to check on the wound obviously confused but not cradling it as a wound should have on what happened before it looks at your direction. >The Thief knows the direction in which you fired what do you say or do?
Remember, if she dies, we loot the corpse and check what she had stolen.
Rolled 8>>26919709She's spotted us, shoot to kill.
Rolled 12>>26919709Fire again. The Nagant fires supersonic rounds so by the time she hears our second shot she'll have been hit.
>>26919709Fire again before she gets the golem to protect him/her.
>>26919749>>26919757Don't roll yet, you don't know what the position modifier will be
Rolled 15If she tells the golem to come after us, we're fucked. We need to neutralize her NOW! OPEN FIRE!
>>26919709"THAT WAS A WARNING! GET DOWN ON THE GROUND OR MY BOOMSTICK IMMEDIATELY REMOVES YOUR HEAD FROM YOUR SHOULDERS!"
>>26919709Okay shooting again.two rolls One for reloading another round and another roll for accuracy (This penalty -2)Also where do we aim?
>>26919808Guns are not for threatening. When you pull a gun on someone, that means you want that person injured or dead.
>>26919833TWO rollsAlso we're at autosage, OP
Rolled 20, 11 - 2 = 29>>26919818arm shot might make it harder to cast spells
>>26919709Duck down then quickly reposition to try to snipe again.
Rolled 12, 8 - 2 = 18>>26919818we'll just let the thread sink then. We're still pretty high up
Rolled 16, 5 + 2 = 23>>26919818
>>26919829Oh...ok. Um...changing vote to injure (arms then legs).
Rolled 6>>26919818We shoot wherever is the easiest to hit, so I'd assume the chest. Rolling for reload although a trained soldier shouldn't fuck up reloading without a horrible failure.
Rolled 19>>26919818Aim at caster. It's silly to attack the golem.
Rolled 3, 13 - 2 = 14Looks like I have to show someone how it's done.
>>26919851You got a 20 which means we can make another shot.Do you want to take the shot?
>>26919884use #d#+-# for a negative mod>>26919896No she needs to die. A mage can still cast when shot. They need to either have the limb removed, focus destroyed or be unconscious.>>26919897Not to mention its a nagant rifle so jamming is somewhat unlikely unless it's been in mud>>26919915nice so 20 for reload and 13 for the shot
>>26919896We're probably too far to actually aim to arms without missing.
abysmal rolls, except the reloading one, I like thatWe should AIM FOR THE BOX, knock down the box and the bitch won't be able to pick it back up
>>26919945You realize that the bullet is probably going to just go through the box right? Not to mention we don't know what is inside.
>>26919933I'd say aim at whatever you can hit of her, but I didn't make that roll so I'm not sure if it's my call.
>>26919972Go through the box and knock it off the golem. That bullet imparts kinetic energy
>>26919972Besides, it kinda defeats the point of apprehending a thief if you're going to just destroy the items the thief stole. Also, it would probably piss her off and make her want to kill us on the spot.
>>26919980This, forget fancy shootingNow we just worry about hitting her.
>>26920001What is newton's first law? You'll be pushing the crate with same force as the rifle gives recoil, which means it won't push it anywhere, it'll just nudge a bit on one direction.
>>26919955Okay so our second shot is to aim for the box, need one more roll for how that shot goes.Modifies -2 for position and -1 for quick draw shooting
>>26920075and that's only if the bullet doesn't penetrate it.If the bullet penetrates it, it won't even give it a proper nudge.
>>26920085>Okay so our second shot is to aim for the boxNo you fool, ONE person said to do that. BOTH SHOTS at the THIEF
>>26920085I would assume that Yuri would know difference between movies and real life when it comes to guns. But if the box looks like a nudge is enough to make it fall and it looks like it's not wood, then go for it.
>>26920085The concensus seems to be both shots at the thief, not the box.
Rolled 13 - 3>>26920085lets see if if this worksalso was sure we were aiming for thief arm
>>26920123Okay, then changing aim at the thief but where?>also need roll for accuracy on second shot with -3 penalty from place and quick draw bonus
Rolled 3 - 3>>26920085Only one guy suggested the box. I say center mass still
Rolled 5 - 3>>26920174Wow.Okay, My turn.
Rolled 13 - 3>>26920167Center mass is still the concensus>>26920174holy crap man
Rolled 14 + 3>>26920167To the gut area we take the easiest hit.
>>26920174Oh dear god that is so bad I was tempted to delete it.
>>26920203I hope this is enough to wound. Also we should probably start a new thread.
>>26920242We've still got a ways to go before we 404.
>>26920261Yeah we're on page 6
Rolled 12>>26920273Page 7, actually.
>>26920410it was 6 when I made the post
>>26920167Highest Roll 20You work the bolt smoothly as you chamber the round smoothly into the chamber. You aim for the arm of the thief more specifically her wand arm.You squeeze the trigger.Highest Roll 13 – 2 = 11The runes still shine once more on your hand.Bonus: 11 + 3 = 14The round flies though due to the smaller target grazes the target again though more deeply as he cradles the bicep but she raises her arm defiantly to show it’s still usable and begins to cast. You need to do something quickReload Bonus: Quick DrawPenalty= -1You reload the chamber almost mechanically like they had taught you in the academy as you barely had time to aim before squeezing the trigger.Your round flies! Highest Roll: 13 – 3 = 10The Runes shine even more brightly.Bonus: 10 + 3 = 13Your aim was still off though you manage to hit her wand hold shoulder making her briefly dropping her wand. For her to pick it up mid-drop her left handShit. Her spell is finished as the Golem literally throws its arm the swing making the monstrosity limb fly off of its body and having shot three round its aim is now at you.>What do you say or do now!
>>26920497Time to move.
>>26920497Run like the wind. Shout for the guards.
>>26920497Speed of kenyans and energy legs, run.
>>26920602I now realize that the entire situation doesn't make sense. We have a fuckload of servants and nobels of various levels of power. How the fuck is there no one else helping us?Didn't the original story use the pet show as a distraction?
>>26920602There arnt any guards.
>>26920651In the novel, the phantom thief stole at night while Kirche and Louise fought.ALso need roll for DODGR
Rolled 14>>26920700Let's faceplant!
Rolled 15>>26920700Rolling for dodge
>>26920655Metaphorically speaking. In fact we are shoutibg for a little girl to save us.
>>26920700remember that OP is basing this more off the original novels than the anime
Let's assess the situation a bit. If we try to disengage here, we give her a chance to use spells with our back turned. I say we shouldn't disengage unless we use smoke or until teachers lured by gunshots arrive.
>>26920893I don't think we are advocating disengagement, we are advocating dodging the golem's attack
>>26920700Your eyes shoot up as if a deer caught in headlights life slows down as the huge projectile is hurling towards you. Your mind flashes back from you being summoned here, to the party to the peace treaty being enacted, and all the battles you have been a part of during the war all away to the first one.The one in which a certain musket wielding commander that you were appointed to attaches her bayonet and kicks you and your fellow green recruits out of the foxhole you were huddled together. “MOVE YOU BALLESS BASTARDS!” She roared as she sticks the business end of the bayonet at your back the tip piercing through your formally clean uniform. “SO HELP ME, IF YOU STAY STILL I’LL SAVE THE ENEMY ARTILLERY THE TROUBLE AND SHOVE THIS SO UP YOUR ASS IT WILL BE CONSIDERED A THIRD LEG, DO YOU HEAR ME PRIVATE!”Highest Roll: 17 “MA’AM YES MA’AM!” You yelled as you sprinted for dear life the haunting words of your commander unconsciously making you clench your read end as you run the stone limb misses impacting the earth causing you to shake from the aftershock making you trip into the floor. You immediately flip yourself to see another limb flying towards your direction.>What do you say or do.>Also give me a roll
Rolled 19>>26921159roll out of the way open fire on the thief
>>26921159How far away is she? Cause I'm thinking a grenade with a little comp-c to make it stick would be pretty effective. Asumingthe grenade explosion could set off the comp-c
Rolled 13>>26921159Rolling for dodge, return fire.
Rolled 4>>26921159Dodge that shit
Rolled 17>>26921204I thank you for that roll. Also, rolling for sanity
>>26921204we should have 2 rounds left before we need to reload, and we had 37 rounds when we started this fight.
>>26921207It's won't and your far way enough to see silhouettes in the dark, so not that close for grenades.
Rolled 1>>26921207The explosion would detonate it, but you'd have to get the C-4 inside the grenade, because anti-personnel grenades don't generally generate that much heat to my knowledge.
OP we've hit page 9. It's time to abandon thread.
>>26921433I shall go down with my thread.also im surprised by lack of reaction of who your commanding officer looks like.
>>26921457You posted the pic before. And besides, I and terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought.
>>26921491I am. herp
>>26921491I didn't some other anon did.Just inspired me to take on that form.Original concept was something along the lines between Scar of Armstrong from full metal alchemist
>>26921550Major or General Armstrong?
>>26921602Well too bad cause with the pic above our CO just turned into a combination of Olivia Armstrong and Roberta. I will not build fortifications with the terror bricks I am shtting.
>>26921622Now build. I fucking ergonomic keyboard.
So, is there going to be another thread today or was this it?
>>26922282taking a break, a little tired right now
