Peter Parker Quest, Issue 15Rules: http://pastebin.com/w5G3aG3Y>Character sheet: http://pastebin.com/q1AqTT5h>My twitter: https://twitter.com/QuestOp>Archives: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Peter%20Parker%20QuestLast time, you enjoyed an evening with your friend, Felix Hardy before switching into the apparel of your alter ego- Spider-man! This night, you agreed to meet with the Black Cat at the Our Lady of Saints Church to talk- it seems she’s been blamed for a crime she hasn’t admitted. You’ve agreed to help her- after all, you might learn something more on Osborn- and whoever stole those things can’t be up to any good. But, upon arriving, you and the Black Cat decide to try an exercise to increase the trust between the two of you- you can’t very well work together without /some/ measure of trust. Besides- The Black Cat has some… interesting assets…You clear your throat, there is a question that has been bothering you- “How did you trick the police captain into thinking you were his daughter?”>(1/2)
The Black Cat smiles proudly. “Well, there was a lot of work there- I had to collect images of the girl and voice samples, hard to do normally, yes, but I placed some recording devices around the school she goes to. After that I had to craft a disguise and match my performance. On the night of the event- there was a cop keeping watch- all I had to do was look like I was running from the house, looking terrified, telling him I saw something and wanted to talk to my father- from there, it was simple enough to be brought by the officer to the Daily Bugle- not too much to do there. “While Officer Stacy is a man who takes his job seriously, his daughter is the one thing that givers his life meaning- something easy to find out around the police department while in disguise. Naturally, it /was/ a bit of a gamble, would that lead pay off or would I have to subdue him? Thankfully my disguise and acting was up to par- he believed my story for long enough.”She shrugs. “From there, I think you know the details?” Her eyes light up with glee as she ponders her next question- “Alright, Spider, what hobbies do you have?”You pause->[ ]Answer he honestly, you did agree to it>[ ]Something vague- you aren’t lying… technically…>[ ]Lie>[ ]Write in>what question do you wish to ask, next?

>>27146793>Honestly, it's only fair. Our great romance is science.
>>27146793>[ ]Answer he honestly, you did agree to it
>>27146793>Answer her honestlyI think we'll pretty much give her the same answer we did when she was Felix so that's good.Next questions, might as well return the favor. What does she do when she isn't stealing things or preparing to steal things?
>>27146793>[ ]Something vague- you aren’t lying… technically…
I think Cosgrove is also waiting for us to decide what our next question could be, in addition to how we're going to answer Black Cat's.
>>27146793>[ ]Answer he honestly, you did agree to it>what question do you wish to ask next? What does she do when she isn't stealing things or preparing to steal things?-or-Why the cat motif?

>>27146793>[X]Answer her honestly, you did agree to itask her about her non theft hobbies.
>>27147042I was, actually, now I am writing
>[ ]Answer her honestly, you did agree to itYour pause is only for a moment before you answer- she held up her part of the bargain- you need to hold up yours. “I like science, actually. I spend a lot of my time studying it and the people who practice it. Its what I do with my free time, usually.”The black Cat raises an eyebrow, looking curious and somewhat skeptical, seems like it was an answer she didn’t expect. “So, Cat, what do you when you’re not involved in the process of readying yourself for one of your burglaries?”The Black Cat pauses- the same way you did. “Well, to be honest, I do have a civilian identity- it keeps me out of view most of the time and I keep myself in shape. But if you mean what do I do for hobbies… Well, I watch television and movies, I guess- I don’t often interact with people.”She looks away, seemingly embarrassed by her answer. Seems like the Black Cat has things she’s embarrassed about. “S-so, Spider… why did you decide to try to catch me?”>[ ]Be honest>[ ]Be vague>[ ]Lie>[ ]Write in
HAHA!Time for Black Cat!Thanks for letting me come home from a shit day to Parker Quest Cosgrove. It makes me all tingly inside.
>>27147096I think the questions were already chosen from suggestions in the last thread, I think we have 5.
>>27147337"Honestly? I needed the money."Ask her why she became a criminal.
>>27147337>"Well if I'm being totally honest... I really needed the money to help my family out; not to mention your capers have been reeking havoc on one of my pals home life... It's totally not because I wanted a thrill or anything..."
>>27147343>>27147352Well, I was going to use them, but I though allowing the questions to happen would be more pleasing to the quest participants>Also, what question did you want to ask?
>>27147389>not to mention your capers have been reeking havoc on one of my pals home lifeWhat the fuck are you doing? Do not say this. That's basically saying "I'm friends with Gwen Stacy," which, since Gwen Stacy doesn't have many friends, is basically saying we're Peter Parker.
>>27147337Be honest with her. We're still dirt poor and we still need money, so there's no point lying about it.
>>27147390Natural progression of the conversation dictates we ask why she decided to steel the statue I'd think.
>>27147337>Be honestTell her we felt like we needed to make money fast, and had no luck getting a job. Catching her seemed to be the best legal way of making some fast cash, so we took it.If she's offended, remind her that she was so good at keeping a low profile that we didn't really know the first thing about her.
>>27147405>is basically saying we're Peter Parker.Woah, wait, what? When the fuck did this happen?
>>27147337>[x]Be vaguemoney troubles. lets leave it at that
>>27147337well I need money. and I was interested in you,and now that I have seen you in action I am ever more interested.:)
>>27147405It could be any cop; there are hundreds if not thousands in NYC and they've ALL been getting put through the wash about the Black Cat problem.
>>27147390Should probs post the questions you were going to use in a list then, they were all good questions, we can decided if we want to use one of those or make a new one then.
>>27147337>[ ]Be honest
>>27147416How about just something like "You've clearly had extensive training and possess expensive equipment. Why do you use your talents to steal insured trinkets from rich people?"
>>27147337[X] I desperately needed the money, it it seemed a good way to get it without resorting to anything illegal, or getting asked awkward questions.
>>27147389Let's be honest, that wasn't really a major focus for us.
>>27147441Fair enough>These are also question options that were asked->How old are you?/I'm not going to be on 'To Catch a Predator, am I?'>So, why such a distinct costume?>Why did you become a thief?>The other two have been used
>>27147423> your capers have been reeking havoc on one of my pals home life>is friends with Gwen Stacy>She only has like 2 male friends, only one of which is poor.> we needed money>we're Peter parker
>>27147495>>we're Peter parkerSince when?
>>27147487I wasn't ok with the age thing before, but the quip makes it dandy.
>>27147487>How old are you?/I'm not going to be on 'To Catch a Predator, am I?'Let's ask this
>>27147519Now that is a question. We shouldn't reveal a connection between ourselves and Gwen.
>>27147519Well....considering that's the list of questions we've planned to ask...
>>27147337>[X]Be vague>"My family... I was money troubles, and Jameson's reward seemed like something I could handle. So much for that."Didn't your parents ever tell you guys not to gush your secrets to strange women in cat costumes? She's not telling us her secrets, let keep things between us and BC vague and fun.
>>27147596Quite, we don't seem to be going for a full interrogation, this remains rather casual.
>>27147438Fine, maybe it's not quite as bad as all that, but it's still really, really bad. There are many cops whose home lives are substantially effected by the Black Cat case. There are many more cops in NYPD. There are many more people in NYC. There is one cop who Black Cat has done extensive research on. It's not worth the risk. There are 8 million people in NYC. ~23 bits of information. There are maybe 300 cops that are working this case at all, much less to the point it affects their family lives (there are 34k cops in the NYPD). They have a total of probably around 1000 family members. Those family members have a total of what, 5 good friends each, tops? 5000 people, then. ~12 bits of information. And that's probably too generous; are there really 300 cops working this case? Do their families really have that many friends? That's a drop of 11 bits. For comparison, that's the same as the drop in bits in Death Note when Light reveals his knowledge of police records, which also happens to be his single largest mistake in terms of loss of seclusion in bits.
>>27147623Being specific doesn't mean naming names about what members of our family were in trouble. It just means our motive was to make money partially because our family wasn't doing great. Also, I'd say that asking her why she's a thief would be a better segue than jumping straight to her age.
>>27147337>[ ]Be honestdont mention the crime thing affecting our friends thoughQuestion:Why did you become a thief? Its a good segue after the money thing from the honest answer
>[ ]Be honest“Honestly? I needed the money to help out my family and the job market isn’t my friend it seems. It was a better option than doing something illegal.”You shrug as Black Cat chuckles. “Hmm?”“Ah, but Spider, isn’t being a vigilante a crime?~” She leans over, poking you in the chest with a gloved finger. She leans in against you, smiling like the cat that got the canary. “So, really, we’re on the same side, technically~”You clear your throat. “S-so, why did you become a thief? I mean, you've clearly had extensive training and possess expensive equipment. Why do you use your talents to steal insured trinkets from rich people?”She pulls back as a sad smile crosses her face. “That’s a good question Spider- to be honest- my father was a thief as well, when he was alive. He was known as ‘The Cat,’ a gentleman thief, and he trained me to be the best- his successor. He always had a code- never harm an innocent person- those outside of the crime itself should be left as untouched as possible, only targeting those who got their money through dirty means, such as the mob. For that reason, he detested guns. “But, during an incident, a cop mistakenly shot someone- a bystander- my father had two choices as the cop ran- get away or stay and save the person. He stayed and was arrested- and when he went to jail- apparently someone he stole from wanted vengeance- they had him taken out in jail.”She looks upwards at the moon overhead. “I want to try to make my father proud by continuing his legacy. So, as the Black Cat, I target the people who can afford to lose things- trinkets- while making a show out of it. The Black Cat is a spectacle, Spider, people look forward to each crime and how I‘ll get away- instead of dreading it.”>Actions?>running to the store, brb
>>27148029help i cant into empathyhow do i console
>>27148029Tell her you know what the loss of a parent can be like but stay general. I suspect she'll already be changing her expectations of who we are. It wouldn't be impossible that she divines "Peter Parker" in her magic 8-ball.To change topic, maybe make a quip about drying her eyes of tears while working in what's her eye colour?
>>27148029"That's one way of looking at it I suppose. Though there's a potential downside, especially when people like J Jonah Jameson raise a big stink. In cases like that, the police have to devote time, money, and manpower towards futile attempts at capturing you, instead of stopping... you know, real crimes committed by actual criminals.I mean sure it'd be nice if the cops would just give up on opposing you, but as it stands..."Or something to that extent.
>>27148029"...You do realize that if your father was arrested, that means his identity was made a matter of public record, and thus it wouldn't be that difficult to track down if he had any children?"
>>27148119Yeah say we can relate to the loss of a parent. MAYBE tie it into why we're interested in taking down Oscorp?I mean a shady guy like Norman Osborn could have killed the parents of many people.
>>27148201No, leave it general. She can ask if she wants too.>>27148183This.
>>27148029Hm, I think we may have Black Cat's trust now. I'm pretty sure we could easily find out who The Cat was by reading an old newpaper.Anyway,>INITIATE CONSOLING"I'm sorry, Cat... I didn't know. Your father sounds like he was a great person. I wish could have met him."
It's a complicated issue that warrants a complicated response.Like on the one hand, we can REALLY respect wanting to live up to the legacy of a parent, and know how much losing them can suck. But on the other, what she's doing is actually pretty irresponsible in some ways, and it genuinely doesn't seem like that crossed her mind. Also I wouldn't bother pointing out that she potentially gave the game away. I mean if the police hadn't investigated the possibility that the Black Cat thief has something to do with the Cat... there's really no helping them.
>>27148263Leave for a few minutes. Use a computer to find out who he was. "Huh, that's such a sad story FELIX. YEAH BITCH, I GOTCHA."
>>27148067Check the manuel.
>>27148137I suppose a counterargument would be whether or not the police are really trustworthy and would actually be helping people in a meaningful way if given the time.Like we're living in New York in contemporary times, where Stop and Frisk exists. So thinking that the police aren't necessarily the good guys is a valid position to take.
>>27148029I definitely support consoling her, but I cant help but want to point out that she's continuing the Cats NAME but not his LEGACY. Stealing from the rich isn't hurting anyone, true, but they worked for that money themselves. That seems at odds with the Cats intentions of stealing from those who did wrong. Also this>>27148314>If the police hadn't investigated the possibility that the Black Cat thief has something to do with the Cat... there's really no helping them.
>>27148412>Stop and FriskThis is exactly what it sounds like, isn't it?
>>27148349darle el pene
>>27148444Yes.The police can stop anyone they view as "suspicious" and frisk them for drugs, firearms, stolen property, whatever.Guess what skin color the people who fall victim to this have.
>>27148485>Guess what skin color the people who fall victim to this have. The same as the skin color as the people who commit the most crimes?
>>27148485Oh! Oh! I know this one! I took this exam last week!for some reason unwanted contact does not count as battery when it's by a cop
>>27148564But seriously there's only one way this discussion can go, so let's cut it short now.
So when do we start facebooking?
>>27148029"I can respect that. You could certainly be doing a hell of a lot more selfish things with your skills. And hey, now you're working towards busting some idiot who stole dangerous military hardware. If that's not noble thievery, I don't know what is. Though I'm not sure what Jameson did to warrant your attention. Is the Planet tied up in something crooked?"And after she answers that:"Are you sure you trust me with that information? About your father, I mean. It might be difficult depending on what records are sealed, but you just gave me a pretty huge lead to your identity. Is this part of the game? Should I start dropping hints, too?"
>writing, also back
>>27148029>a cop mistakenly shot someone- a bystander- my father had two choices as the cop ran- get away or stay and save the person...Uncle Ben?
>>27148714Shit, this may be it.
>>27148714He had to have left the force for some reason. Hopefully it's just because he was getting old and slowing down, though. Because even if Felix(ia) doesn't know our identity yet, he/she is friends with Peter Parker. It would be really awkward if the appropriate mental link was made. Let's hope we're chasing shadows and there's no connection.
>>27148714[great responsibility intensifies]
>try to consoleYou think about it. You know, better than most, how much losing your parents suck and wanting to live up to their legacy. On the other hand, what she‘s doing is actually pretty irresponsible- resources going to catch her could be going towards other, actual crimes. But- she could be doing a lot worse, with skills like hers."I can respect that. You could certainly be doing a hell of a lot more selfish things with your skills. And hey, now you're working towards busting some idiot who stole dangerous military hardware. If that's not noble thievery, I don't know what is. Though I'm not sure what Jameson did to warrant your attention. Is the Planet tied up in something crooked?"She shakes her head. “Well, no, but the man in charge is pretty foul- always spinning people’s motives into something worse. To be honest- that one was personal.”You pause taking it in as you think about another matter. "Are you sure you trust me with that information? About your father, I mean. It might be difficult depending on what records are sealed, but you just gave me a pretty huge lead to your identity.”She shakes her head. “Spider, my father taught me the beautiful thing known as fake identities- he was arrested and went to jail as Silvio Manfredi, a man who never married or had children. Who he really was- that went to the grave with him.”She look over at you. “You still haven’t asked your question, by the way- did you want to continue?”>[ ]Ask another question>[ ]Only if you’re up to it>[ ]No, I don’t want to make you even more uncomfortable>[ ]Write in
>>27148879Ask if she's fine, I guess. She'll probably want to continue, so it looks better.
>>27148879"I'm pretty sure you owe me one still? You asked if that was my first kiss, I asked how you impersonated Captain Stacy's daughter, you asked me why I chased you, and I asked you why you steal. So yeah, your turn. If you're up for it of course.Sorry for asking you such a downer of a question."
>>27148879Uh, I'm pretty sure we did already ask her? We asked her why she got into thieving. Now it's her turn to ask us a question. Did I miss something?
>>27148931"Oh, and we also asked what our hobbies and interests were, forgot about that one since... neither of us seem to have much going on in that area.Still doesn't change the order though."
>But it’s your turn“But, Cat, that was my question. Its your turn, if you’re still up for it.”Her eyes widen behind her mask as she slaps her forehead. “Right. So… do you have a girlfriend? Last time I was teasing, but I’m actually curious now. Are you taken?”Black Cat tries to brush of the question as something she’s merely curious about, but you can tell she’s interested in knowing the answer."I mean, if you're uncomfortable with the question, I can always ask about something else.">[ ]Answer the Question>[ ]Another Question, please>[ ]Write in>response?
>>27148879[X]-Only if you're up to it.+ (If yes)[X]-So, am I the only... fellow rooftop prowler you've met in these parts?Or some similar phrasing-knowing who else is operating here, PARTICULARLY from a largely neutral party, would be a huge information boon to our early career.AND it would make it easier to prepare snappy battle quips.
>>27149076[X]-So, am I the only fellow rooftop prowler you've met in this city?If someone wants to make that playful or spagetti, go for it. I just want intelligence on other local players.
>>27148879>[ ]Only if you’re up to itThen ask
>>27149104Yeah, I could go for news on... who are pre-spiderman villain types of peter's neck of the woods? Just Fisk, Rhino and Tombstone are popping up in my mind, but I'm shit on Spiderman trivia.
>>27149076Tell her that we have someone we're interested in but the girl don't like us back. You can't play the answer game and flinch back from question.
>>27149076The correct answer to this question (for men, anyway) is always:"It's complicated."
>>27149076[X]-Spagetti.Spagetti SO HARD
>>27149131His earliest villains in the comiccs were the Tinkerer, the Vulture, and Doctor Octopus, as I recall, so we're liable to come across them early on.
>>27149076"nope, well idk... girls are confusing."probley not"
>>27149076Not really. There was someone, but it seems to have fallen through.
>>27149076"I don't know? Maybe? I thought there was someone, but I'm not sure..."
>>27149076>[X]Answer the Question"Honestly? I had a pretty big crush on this girl I hang out with at school. Somehow I managed to work up the courage to tell her how I felt, but she hasn't talked to me since and I still have no clue what I did to make her mad. So... I suppose I'm not really 'taken', but... it's complicated right now."
>>27149153I thought Doc Ock only became a villain rather than being a scientist after some action on Spiderman/Parker's side. Or was that just for certain spidermen? The Multiverse confuses me.
>>27149076"It's... complicated. I told a girl I liked her pretty much right before I left to catch you and she kind of ran off and then stopped talking to me completely. At first I thought it was because I did something to upset her, but literally today I found evidence to suspect it's more because she's being harassed by some kind of stalker, which is pretty much my fault because I told her my feelings in a public place? So yeah it's kind this whole thing."
>>27149209Can we not keep leading lines in this exchange with 'honestly'?
>>27149076>[X]Answer the Question"It's complicated, Cat. I thought we had something, and tried to tell her, and now she won't speak to me."
Question suggestion: Why isn't she freaked out by our spider powers? We're pretty much the first metahuman since Captain America and she's acting like it's no big deal.
>>27149076>[ ]Answer the QuestionThat's kind of complicated, I mean I sort of do and confessed but she hasn't responded yet and judging by my chances at talking with her not looking so good.
>>27149218>"It's... complicated. I told a girl I liked her pretty much right before I left to catch you and she kind of ran off and then stopped talking to me completely.Which is weird right? I mean girls are TOTALLY into spiders.
>>27149211In 616, Spidey's original appearance, Doc Ock originally arose when an experiment had gone wrong, and he then he forcefully took over a scientific facility to keep his experiments going. He kicked Spider-Man's ass the first time, but then Spidey managed to eek out a win the second time, with some encouragement from the Human Torch.Oh, and there was Mysterio and the Chameleon. They also came in almost immediately.
>>27149237What spider powers? We're just a guy with excellent athletic skills and some neat gadgets. She hasn't seen us do anything superhuman yet, at least not by the standards of the Marvel universe.
>>27149209>schoolDon't tell her we go to school, idiot.>>27149218> she's being harassed by some kind of stalkerToo much info, Black Cat has been monitoring Gwen at school, remember?I'm serious, do you guys know anything about keeping secrets? Pretend you're 11 again and your parents are lecturing you on the dangers of the internet. Repeat after me:Anything personal can and will be used to discover your identity.
>>27149230>>27149140Eh, I'd say learning that people are STILL calling her seems like there could be an alternate explanation.
>>27149315Eh, stalkers affect a lot of people, don't they?
>>27149294She saw us sticking to the side of a building when dressed up as Gwen, didn't she?
>>27149315I never got that speech, but pretty much all the personal information I've given to anybody has been false. I have no idea if Peter has enough sense to do the same, though, but it looks like he doesn't.
>>27148879>Silvio ManfrediSo no this guy?
>>27149357>Eh, stalkers affect a lot of people, don't they?Yeah, but Black Cat has just been monitoring Gwen. When we mention "stalker" it's likely to trigger her memories of recording Gwen discussing being stalked. All she has to do is go "hmm, I wonder," do a bit of investigating and BAM. There goes our secret identity. I guess it might take out our Parker Luck stores, depending on how Cos interprets her.
>Writing>What question do you wish to ask?
>>27149378Neither does Black Cat?I mean the whole point is trusting each other? But really the smartest thing would be to just say it's complicated.
>>27149425The one about other caped peeps-well, not SPECIFICALLY capes.
>>27149425Maybe we can discuss personal stuff another time, let's ask what Cat's plan was to find out who framed her.
>>27149425[X]-So, am I the only fellow rooftop prowler you've met in this city?
>>27149425Might as well ask her why she picked a cat as her totem animal. Failing that:>So, why such a distinct costume?

>>27149372That could be gadgets, too. It's Marvel. Stark Industries is marketing electromagnetic repulsor technology. Reed Richards built his own spaceship. There's a small nation in Africa with the most bizarre rare earth metals you've ever seen. The state of science is a bit higher than it is in our world even before you get to super-science gadgets.
>>27149641and we DID state we love science, at that.Still, the to catch a predator is the best one, I think.
>>27149425"So why wear a costume if you're a master of disguise? I thought I was starting a trend of masked weirdos leaping from roof to roof."

>>27149504Never ask a woman her age.
>>27149425How old are you

You tense as you shake your head, Gwen coming up in your head.“Well… it’s complicated.”The Black Cat sits, looking curious. “Complicated?”“Well… There was a girl I liked, you see, and I confessed to her before going to try and stop you- but she didn’t reply- she just left and she hasn’t talked to me since. But, there might be problems on her end, so I don’t know, honestly. It’s all a mess.”The Black Cat closes her eyes and lets out a soft contemplative noise. “Seems like she might not feel the same way, or she might feel pressured to not respond to you. Either way, it might be better to let her have some space- You shouldn’t make them feel pressured, you might drive them off. But don’t cross boundaries they’re uncomfortable with, either. Or so a friend told me…”She pauses and clears her throat, quick to change the subject. “So, what’s your question, Spider?”You pause and give a look at Black Cat- she says that’s how she really looks, but if that’s so… “So, I’m not going to be on ‘To Catch a Predator’ am I?”The Black Cat stares at you- long and hard before laughing. “Well, a gentleman normally doesn’t ask a lady’s age, you know. But, still, I’m old enough to be legal, but I’m not old enough to star in porn, so no taping if we get up to anything, Spider~“So, the answer there is no. Still, that makes me wonder- how old are you, spider? >>27151847Even ignoring the public opinion thing. Gwen might rat us out as a result. It is just prudent.>>27151861Yes, but it's not going to let us magically detect things that aren't threats. Someone sitting in a belltower shouldn't trigger it.
Keep in mind that we're near Eddies church, where a murdering psychopath obsessed with us may be lurking and also we're sort of ok in the publics image and we are with a known criminal.Lets not websling with her ok?
>>27151804/tg/ is way too flighty. We confess to a girl and decides she needs some time to figure things out. We ditch her the moment an easy lay appears.
>>27151847Well, no one knows who Black Cat actually looks like, so that's not so major an issue as it could be. But yeah, let's do it separately. Maybe challenge her to a race, that could be fun. And if anyone sees, it would just look like we were pursuing her across the rooftops or something.
>>27151819Black Cat got a Parker Luck bonus in the past. Also all Cassidy knows is that Spider-Man is Black Cat's tutor, no names were exchanged.Though enough was probably said for a skilled detective to put the pieces together.Or potentially a reporter.
>>27151900We haven't committed to anything yet.
>>27151900I take offense at that. It's our job to make sure Felix keeps up with his Homework.
>>27151847Yeah let's not do that. Also we need to pickup our backpack that has our clothes in it.Remember that?
>>27151861Yeah, but it doesn't detect people that haven't decided to make themselves threats yet. Say, for example, Eddie is in the bell tower with a camera, probably no spider warning. Sargent Just-Following-Orders, NYCPD sniper on that other roof over there getting ready to peg us? He shows up.
>>27151905Some shit is going to go down. Even if this is its own universe Parker needs something bad to happen to him.
>>27151905Lest we forget, Cat also openly said on the roof she had been using surveillance gear on Gwen...so...someone who heard stuff could check that.
>>27151925That's true we should pick those up.
>>27151905>Also all Cassidy knows is that Spider-Man is Black Cat's tutor, no names were exchanged.THIS JUST IN! Spider-Man taught Black Cat everything she knows. Recent Heist planned to allow them to con money out of respectable reporter. SPIDER-MAN IS A MENACE!
>>27151900Nah I think it was because people assumed that Gwen was mad at us and that was how she dealt with it....Still you'd think she could figure out a way of getting our attention without tipping off the Phantom....And then there's the people who think Gwen's completely insane and the whole stalker thing is due to a split personality.
>>27151925"Let me just go pick up my pants."
>>27151932We don't need bad things to happen. The dice will solve that problem. Parker really deserves good things.
>>27151958I can see it now...
>>27151958Wait...Cassidy is working for J. Jonah Jamerson?I bet he gets all the killer stories.
>>27151958Well played. But it's a pipe dream to imagine that Jonah isn't going to slam us in his papers. Might as well accept it.
>>27151973You realize that if we spend the night at Felicia's that there will be an armed home invasion at the Parker residence, right?
>>27151932Our parents are dead and if we were over it before, we certainly aren't now.We messed things up with our friend because MY PARENTS ARE DEAAAD, also our other friend either hates us or is in real trouble and we've been ignoring her.
>>27151996How do you know it hasn't already happened?
>>27151985No, Eddie Brock does though.
So, have we made a huge mistake; Y/N?
>>27151961I never heard about the split personality theory. Doesn't the football player we saw throw that away.
>>27152014True. I just assume its the Karma of responsibility (Ben's still working so only aunt May is home at the moment, and that probably means she's over at Ann's...with the little danger magnet...).
>>27152040With Parker the only winning play is not ever existing.
>>27152040Probably not, but it has potential to bite us in the ass down the line.
>>27151994That doesn't mean we should keep giving him ammunition.
>>27152065She's totally going to steal our blood, isn't she?
>>27152040Y - web slinging with someone is a very public act. JJJ will get pictures and have a field day. Gwen will read the story, be slightly crushed despite trying to push us away, and do something stupid (like give in to the stalker). My thoughts anyway.
>>27152090Is that even really a question?
>>27152106Huh?Nah I think we agreed to not doing that.I meant letting Black Cat, who is technically a villain, know our secret identity.
>>27152114I think the real question is we will still have both kidneys
>>27151733>Go separate waysBecause let's try and be smart about this.
>>27152040If consensus is still for webslinging then Y.Please stop making choices so impulsively /tg/ It never ends well.
>>27152114Eh, just explain that it will most likely bemused to make spider powered security guards and cops, people that might get sicked after the Black Cat, and she'll probably drop it. Or not, you never know.
>>27152150Yeah no web-slinging together. Not until we're officially in our bad boy phase.
>>27152138I think we'll have one. Don't think she wants us dead.
>>27152138Sure. Intermittently. Healing factor.
>>27152177Is peter's healing factor that good?
>>27151733Websling with her. we dont have a reason to act responsibly yet, no one has died
>>27152177Does Peter's healing apply to organs? I know he recovers from broken limbs and lacerations in a couple of days but I'm not sure if organs are within his abilities.
>>27152150Shiny red buttons.Every time.
>>27152215How about just acting smart? Is that too much to ask?
>>27152215But we're not stupid. We know that not being wanted by the police is a good idea, liable to make things easier on us.I mean this is not one of those kinds where being stupid is necessarily in-character.
>>27152246For /tg/? More than you think.
>>27152150We're a teenager. We're smart sure; but we're pretty damn impulsive.
>>27152246With tg yes.
>>27152205Regrow organs over a period of years? I think so. But that's a think and not a know.
>>27152264We already did something impulsive by letting her know who we really are.
>>27152215We don't want to tip Oscorp off to the fact that we're working with the Cat now do we?
>>27152306We don't want that at all.
>>27152257Why, exactly, would webslinging wither lead to us wanted by the police? If the police were looking for her on the rooftops she'd have been caught by now, We've had all of one public appearance (in a different costume), and nobody wanders around New York looking for people swinging from buildings. Nobody would see us, and if they did there's almost no chance they'd recognize us anyway, as long as we don't swing back and forth infront of the police station or the bugle, we're fine.
>>27152368We know Eddie Brock, a reporter for the Daily Bugle, goes to this church. And he favors late masses.
>>27152368Cellphone cameras, security footage and photojournalists are not always easy to avoid or spot in advance. That's all I'm saying.
>>27152306No one knows she's the Black Cat. She's never been seen outside of a disguise. For all anyone knows she could just be our sidekick. There's nothing particularly catlike about her costume, why would anyone associate Spider-Man's accomplice with the criminal he stopped? Aside from Jameson, of course, who assumes that about everyone Spider-Man interacts with.
>>27152406He's also a smoker right? Would he excuse himself and head to the roof to sate his nicotine addiction in private I wonder? Hmm, imagine what the worst time would be for him to stumble upon our conversation here.
>>27152418Jonah hasn't had the time to hate us yet. At worst, he's a bit raw about the money thing, but we haven't been seen since.
>>27152418Oh? She isn't wearing the Black Catsuit right now?
>>27152406So the Bugle writes a piece on how Black Cat and Spider-Man are working together, based on the eyewitness testimony of one man, who also works for the paper making the claim. How is that any different from what they already write?
>>27152418Good point actually.
>>27152463You know if he does that we can always carry through on our threat and go to one of his competitors for an exclusive interview.
>>27152418Media speculation ahoy?
>[ ]Take her hand, meet up with her at her place, each going separate waysYou let her help you up as you stretch. “We should go separate ways, best to not have the police after both of us.”She nods. “Alright, I’ll meet you where we met earlier, got it?”And she’s off. Man she’s good a parkour. Still, you have clothes you need to get- you should get on that. After a few minutes of web slinging, you find where you left your clothes and change into them, using the darkness of night to scale down to the ground and head over to Felix’s house. You arrive and ring the door bell- you’re let in. The person who opens the door for you is Felix? Well, the person has the short, white hair of the Felix persona. Other than that, vibrant green eyes stare at you as the obviously feminine form in front of you only has on a long T-shirt and has a towel over her shoulders.“Well, come on in Peter.”She steps aside and lets you in. “I’ll be right back, I’ve got to grab a shower- the latex fits great, but its always best to shower after getting out of that costume.”She walk down a hall that lies between the kitchen and living room, and you hear the closing of a door moments later. >[ ]Wait patiently>[ ]Stunned silence>[ ]take a look around>[ ]Write in

>>27152408true, but nobody gives a shit what happens on Rooftops in NYC unless they have specific reason to be looking on rooftops. Cellphone cameras aren't very high quality, it's late at night, and webslinging is a high-speed activity; if they picked up anything, it'd be a blurred mess of dark colors. Not particularly incriminating. Same for photojournalists: Nobody is going to be staking out rooftops at midnight unless they're damn sure that something big is going to be going down. I'm all for making informed decisions, but The levels of paranoia on /tg/ are staggering. This isn't Shadowrun, it's the Marvel universe. The whole thing runs off of everyone without powers being completely inept.

>>27152582Quest threads are fascinating like that. Levels of paranoia that preclude any activity that might be considered remotely risky, yet absurd amounts of waifuism and harem-building. You'd think the two would be mutually exclusive.
>>27152563But there's also the fact that Cosgrove is running this quest. Then again, he hasn't pulled out the bear or Kyubey pics... yet...Oh god, now I've made myself worry.

>>27152657I am fond of every Peter Parker Quest character I write, actually.
>>27152646Yeah he stopped doing that for Bleach Quest. And never did that for Peter Parker Quest.
>>27152657This Black Cat is, in her way, particularly charming. I'm normally against waifuisms, but I can't exactly complain this time.
>>27152677And I want to personally say I have loved the changes you have made to the characters for this universe. Having them not be like 616 or Ultimate is keeping us on our toes.
>>27152601Because Rule of Sexy.also, speaking of roofhopping... Spiderman shall eventually perfect the martial art of Parker Parkour.
>>27152646He doesn't do that any more.Gave up after a single posting of one last Bleach Quest sent the shit posters into an even shittier shit posting frenzied spiral.I hope when that quest comes back people will have calmed their tits and learned to appreciate fun and good times, but I doubt it.
>>27152708Yep; that's the joy of Western comics. Same base characters; but you can do almost anything with them and "get away with it".
>>27152713Shame. I was wondering if we'd ever get anywhere with Harribel, but I couldn't remember if we stuck with the harem option or decided to stick to just one waifu...
>>27152713One of the reasons I've found myself hoping for Peter Parker Quests every night as opposed to Bleach Quests like the past month or so.The changes Cosgrove implemented here and the people that post to it make it a lot more enjoyable to me as opposed to the folks who have emerged onto Bleach Quest. It's still fun, but the people are annoying. And tit for tat, cat for cat.
>>27152795I think Orihime, and by extension Momo, are the only ones who would be able to decide that, though Orihime has clearly been trying to work her way into the arrancer's heart.
>>27152801>"Bitch slobberin on mah mask!"
>>27152795Harems are stupid and that shit was one of the things that's threatened to tear the quest apart. We have Orihime and Momo and they're great. Now back to Bleach Quest.

Really REALLY hope. It's annoying to read and I imagine even worse when you're trying to pilot the damn thing. Also double yay for my Carrel edit being used.
>>27152827Wait for /tg/ to try and start a harem with Gwen and BC.
>>27152922Parker has insufficient swag for that to prove a workable proposition. I only advocate harems when I find it funny and think it has a chance in hell of working.
>>27152922And then we'll go back to PPQ1 where Cosgrove lets us know just how well that'd go for us.Hint: About as well as it would go for any other Peter.
>>27152934Realistically, Cat and MJ are both probably too demanding for something like that, and Gwen might not even be interested in a romantic relationship.
>>27152922Peter isn't allowed to get the girl. He definitely can't have a harem. The amount of bad luck built up would split the universe in half.
>>27152902Eh it'll probably be fine when we actually start doing things again.
>>27152868Yeah, if there's one thing I learned about Quest threads, it's to just enjoy the ride. And if I may say, I prefer happy Parker Quest Cosgrove to frustrated Bleach Quest Cosgrove.Maybe you should do more quests related to generally well liked things. Granted, Spider-Man has its haters, but they're fewer in number than say, Bleach's or Naruto's detractors.Random non-quest related question though; Were there any quests you followed, or still follow when you aren't QM'ing?
>>27152951Maximum fellowship and Precog to the max along with reading the science human behavior I think we might stand a chance. Just a chance mind you. The only to get a harem that works requires 2 out of 3 things: money, unique situations, eccentric personalities. All would be great. You had to wonder at the Stark-esque Spiderman and how close he came to a harem.
>>27152991Well, I know he followed FateStay Agaain and Bright Quest...
>>27152991There's some. I follow Fate/Stay again and Joker Quest using the trip and I participate in Deadpool Quest and, when I get the chance, Bright Quest. I've also read homeless mutant quest- interested to see where that one goes.Haven't had the time to archive binge anything else.
>>27152934>>27152951>>27152973I was joking about how /tg/ is stupid enough to try. Please don't take that as a serious suggestion. Harems work .01% of the time. Most of those times require immense political power. This quest is not the place for that level of stupidity.
>>27153043If you're into happy/cute things coupled with sillyness and some good action every now and then, I can heartily recommend Harry Potter Nasuverse Quest. The QM returned recently after a five-month absence and it's been just as awesome as before.
>>27153043What are your opinions on Hollow Redux, If any?
>>27153043I'd suggest Totemist Quest, when you do get around to binging. It's a fun quest with an interesting premise and a cool original setting.
>>27153065It's really best if you just tune out what the players talk about when waiting for updates.Probably the smartest idea.
>>27153085If we're suggesting quest I recommend dungeon quest. Spookiest quest ever.
>>27153085I agree, but this doesn't seem the right time to talk about it.
>>27153109I know that is true, but I hold out a little bit of hope that someone out there can be reached. If I can sway one harem fag back to the light, wouldn't it make all the stupid i suffered through worthwhile.

>>27153902>>27153916You see me mentioning Gwen?Loose lips sink ships, it's too much of a risk to not let Gwen know about this conversation, and we have no reason to keep that we need to tell another party about this conversation from Felicia. This is a comic book universe, Gwen being bitten means she's actually more likely of doing something that'll draw suspicion she's Spider-man and thus get Oscorp Goons looking closer, we don't want that. In order for Gwen to keep herself safe, she needs to know who knows so she can keep track of what they're saying and not meet those preconsceptions. She's only safer if she's in a suit swinging alongside us.

>>27155735Black Cat knows our identity so it wiped 10 points off, but we had less than 10 so it wiped all of them off.
>>27155751Should be all these votes. Fuck typing without glasses on.
>>27155735This thread man.... Who just found out our identity
>>27155735Black Cat found out who we are, and I guess she counts as a villain.
>>27155747Yeah that's my thinking exactly.Teasing her is fine, but let's make sure she knows we're not that kind of guy. Also, let's not be that kind of guy.
>>27155494>>[ ]Write incondoms? because radioactive spider bite's effects are still being learned about.3rd base is good too
>>27155598This. Can't pass this up. It's either gonna defuse all the awkwardness or just make it worse. I'm fine with either.
>>27155768Alright, didn't know she counted as a villain.
>>27155598This and go for it
>>27155774>Also, let's not be that kind of guy.Agreed.
>>27155782I think in the universe it was genetically engineered super spider. Anyways I say if we're not going bed sleep on the floor. I'm sure she has some extra pillows/blankets and that is much more comfortable than a chair.
>>27155788Or she isn't and Norman just told smythe to stop doing terrible things to his computer and found out about us.
>>27155802Oh yeah, that is an option.
>>27155623Yes. If her floors are carpeted those are more comfortable.>>27155618>Felicia blushes and mutters, you can barely hear her, "Well no," she admits, "we didn't, but you were having a dream and we were cuddling, and then," she trails off, her face and ears red, "you kind of went off.">>27155653Given a human woman generally only releases one egg to a spider's hundred? One.
>>27155494>[ ]Are you sure you’re alright with that?Be just as spaghetti about it, if not moreso, than Felicia is. Why? because we're Peter frickin' Parker.
>>27155676Nope, we only have two at the moment. And no Parker Luck. Which is hopefully just because of Felicia and not Cassidy figuring us out. Which he probably can't have from the data he has available, even if he was listening in on our conversation, so we should be safe. Probably.
>>27155814So Mayday Parker would be born 10 years early. No big deal.
>>27155494DAYNM cosgrove, you give hard choices. My hot blooded male side wants to go with, if you insist. My gentleman side wants to go with, are you okay with that? And the paragon me would have insist with the chair. so, >[x]... If you insists.Hot blooded male side won.
>>27155824At least as save as anyone is would a psycho serial killer in the area.
>>27155788It's one of those technicality things. We consider her an ally, but unless she suddenly decides to quit being a master jewel thief, she's technically a villain, as far as the Bugle's concerned. The best kind of villain!
>>27155598I LIKE IT
>>27155867Also while she genuinely doesn't want to kill or hurt us, she's gonna steal our blood.
>>27155879At least after that we get to meet Morbius, the Living Vampire.
>>27155879All this worry about stealing our blood none about our semen
>[ ]…If you insist>[ ]…I’ll sleep in a chair>My oh my you work fast. Dinner, a movie, a stroll through the city and now you're taking me to bed? Didn't know you thought I was so easy. You give her a smirk. See how she likes it when the awkward shoe is on the other foot. ”My oh my you work fast. Dinner, a movie, a stroll through the city and now you're taking me to bed? Didn't know you thought I was so easy.”Felicia freezes and blushes. “I-I don’t think of you as easy, but I-”she mumbled off, looking away. She’s nervous- probably just as nervous as you. “I’ll sleep in there if you insist, otherwise I’m fine with taking a chair.”You move to pull away, but you feel a tugging on your arm as Felicia doesn’t look at you. “Y-you don’t have to do that, I mean it is my fault and my idea for you to stay over and I just want to sleep tonight, alright. …M-maybe next time-”She cuts off as she pulls you into the room, pulling the catsuit and wig off the bed and tossing them to the side. “J-just l-lay down, alright?”>[ ]Alright>[ ]You mind if I grab a shower first?>[ ]write in
>>27155879Okay, people keep saying this and I don't get it. Why would Felicia want to steal our blood? Is this a reference to some infamous story arc that I've never read?
>>27155939She's insisting. Take her up on it.
>>27155951Yeah. Spidey woke up after sex with her and she stole his blood.
>>27155951Yeah. Peter's blood got stolen like three times, and he finally traced it back to the Black Cat, who sold it to Morbius.
>>27155951Somebody will be posting the pic soon enough.>>27155939>[ ]You mind if I grab a shower first?Probably won't have time in the morning... Also make sure the ending of the shower is fucking cold.

>>27155834Yeah, but mayday is Pete's and MJ's....Please cosgrove can we meet time-and-dimensional-traveling Spider-Girl? Because Spider-girl is awesome."
>>27156035So the standard, "go back in time and get my parents to shack up"?
>>27156035I'm sure if we get involved with the Fantastic Four there will probably be the opportunity to meet alternate universe individuals.
Rolled 2>>27156003wow canon felicia is quite the bitch

>>27155939>[x]You mid if I grab a shower first? How about letting the door slightly ajar, so that the steam doesn't fog up the mirror.
>>27156080I vote this
>>27156116I see through you thinly veiled plot
>We take a shower>Come out>Felicia is covered in white goo"You just HAD to...""S-sorry... they looked fun.""Don't worry, it'll wash out with ice water."
>>27156116then flex in the mirror because we are feeling great, also a cold shower like arctic cold
>>27156116Let the spaghetti flow.
>>27156073I think this is post OMD and post Dr. Strange mindfuckery. So, not only does she not know his secret identity, ALL of the character development that came with that revelation essentially went kaput. She was real waifu material before Mephisada fucked everything up.Anyone have that one page where Felicia is telling off MJ, saying that she'll be there on the rebound for Peter if MJ fucks their marriage up?
>>27156160In fairness, that's pretty bitchy too.
>>27156160OMD was a complete fucking travesty.
>[ ]Alright>[ ]You mind if I grab a shower first?“Alright- you mind if I grab a shower first?”She pauses and nods, showing you to her bathroom. After you step through and close the door, she calls through. “Hey, Peter, hand me your clothes, might as well go ahead and get them washed since you-re wearing them tomorrow, alright?”You hand off your clothes except your underwear to be washed and, after a cold, cold, shower, head back to Felicia’s room, the only room with lights still on. You awkwardly walk in and go lay down as Felicia sits on the edge of the bed, gesturing for you to lay down. After you do so, she turns of the lights. You hear fabric rustle and her slip into bed next to you, a little distance away.“Goodnight, Peter.”You look over and see Felicia trying to sleep and try to go to sleep yourself- its an awkward position in and you find sleep to not come easy. But, before you know it- its morning.Peter Parker Quest 15EndTo be continued>do you want to try for another issue tonight?
>>27156116I did this the first night I spend over at a friends house (who was also a girl) I did not think twice since I always do this.

>>27156194I guess, but I suppose I'm biased; I'm a fan of Black Cat, after all... I mean, who wouldn't be?
