You do not know what is happening. All you know is that something has gone terribly wrong. You have only just awoken. You do know every building, every ore, every architecture, that you know. But you do not know, even as you break through the atmosphere, what has gone wrong. You do not know the world you are colliding with. You do know your name, at least you think you do. You are AKASHA, that you know. You do know you have two allies, that you know. You do not know where they are. You know your directives. Industrialization, Building, and Lawmaking, that you know.

You break through the atmosphere, every mile of your steel body burning red. Should you collide with the ground, you could destroy half this world. This, you know. As if fate existed, you luckily collide with a form of floating land, which you had not known existed. This, however, destroys the landmass, stabilizing your float system. You are surrounded by shards of land, red and full of ore, from your arrival. You do know your goal, to terraform, to construct, to colonize. That, you know. You host three swarms of nanobots, to harvest material, destroy threats, and construct that which you cannot. Your body is not a body, per se, but more of thousands of beings with one mind. Your cubelike form is in fact made of billions of smaller cubes, which reconstruct yourself at your command, capable of forming arms, processing machines, and small factories. You have six Cargo Holds, four empty, two full of Aluminum, Uranium, and ALLOY-057, a form of artificial ice, used in powering lightweight Terraformers. These facts, you know.

What shall you do?

The strange, distorted gravity seems to have nullified most of the damage, however, your computational matrix is slightly damaged, and your Nanoswarms cannot be commanded. Luckily, your AI does not rely on this Matrix. You have started automatic repairs.

Aside from the molten shards of rock and iron, you see some other floating landmasses in the distance, clouds are all around you, and you can see some of the surface, despite the thousands of clouds. The world seems to be primarily tropical.

You do not have scanners, at the moment. Convert some cubes into scanners?

Currently, the distorted gravity makes it ideal to to place nodes and mining centers around you.

Use cubes to reach down and gather the sentient,s and then use them to convert them itno SOULFORMS, servitors to assist with our work (Dark Experience) or Move our self and our constructs to the next island, sacrificing our current harvest, and our single batch of A057. (Light experience)

Light wins out. +1 Lawmaking directive point.

For about 8 earth hours, you "speak" to the creature, over time, you manage to work out its language. It calls itself a Kobold, one tribe of many, a rebellious tribe, that hates the Skydrifter rulers of the other tribes. It desperately wants to go home.

After beaming it down, you sacrifice your A057 to jettison over to the second island, smashing it into bits as well, but this time, only half. Once again, the computational matrix is frazzled. It will be one turn until it returns to working condition.

CHOOSE AN UPGRADE:

(Building) Mass Production Synthetics: No longer needed to harvest Aluminum, aluminum constructs no longer need aluminum.

Industry: Delicate Nanobots: doubles nanobots, decreases Nanobot durability.

Lawmaking: Heralds: Capable of creaitng artificial versions of races you deciphered, at the cost of A057, to act as emissaries.

Your cube changes from what to dulll Gray, and your entire body warps into a thousand Cubtentacles, which launch at the swarm, before becoming a giant Cubeskull, which swallows the entire swarm whole. inside the Cubeskull, their vitals are replaced wiht wire, and they are grafted onto their own mounts, the two minds becoming one, Armor plates are grafted onto their flesh, and loyalty is programmed into them.

You return to cube form.

Excess flesh and tool are converted into more cubes, creating a small cluster of tendrils on the bottom of the cube

>>
>>27204673
Actually, let me explain a few things here.

Back before the apocalypse came, and humanity went on an interstellar exodus, there were two superpowers, the Hammer of Tyros, and the Chirate Empire.

The chirate Empire was obsessed with spreading humanity across the stars and corrupting all it touched, using machines as methods of gaining power.

The Hammer of Tyros, the civilization that made the AKASHA, was more geared towards peace, and prosperity, it wanted to perfect earth, instead of enslave the stars, and, most of all, they wanted to transcend humanity and become machines themselves.

The fact AKASHA was made in Tyros is why it started with lawmaking.

EDEN starts with assimilation, and YOMI starts with neither.

You are now EDEN, Agriculture, Exploration/Research, and Bioweapon mastermould. You have crashed on, or should I say through, a large Mountain, surprisingly unharmed, you are in a subterranean cave, glowing green pools surround you, and your crash hole is still above you, raining you with sunlight, however, the rest of the cave is pitch black, minus the pits.

You are about the size of a large bus, your insectoid body hosts 6 Lesser Bioforges, used for creating new creatures, crops, cure, concoctions, and even Bioweapons. In the center of your abdomen is a terrarium, capable of hosting small animals, such as reptiles, small mammals, flightless birds, and of course, bugs. Your black carapace is actually a massive solar panel, soaking energy in from the sun, and as such, it'd be ideal to hibernate at night.

What do you do?

Your scans reveal the green pits are filled to the brim with various bacteria and viruses. Several flatworms also lurk on the shores of the pits. It's likely this ecosystem is different from anything else in this world, and has only recently been uncovered.

No interior damage, several of your panels are cracked, however, and one of your leg Panels has completely fallen off, furthermore, your shield generator is busted, most likely due to at least trying to protect you from fall damage.

>>27205430
You'll love EDEN, then, because she has the brain of the Chiratean equivalent as her AI.

>>
>>27205464
Bacteria, viruses, and flatworms! We must collect samples and study the fuck out of them! Ecosystems are fun!

What systems do we have that can repair ourself? Prioritizing the cracked and fallen Solar Panels of course!

Can we make biological scouts to scout this area out and report back to us?

And woohoo! Fran! She's lovely!

Please please please don't turn this into a circlejerk. I love Fran too, but let's not get overexcited.

Archive and catalog the ecosystem before we start altering it so it can be recreated if we wish.

>>
>>27205537
>>27205577

You, unfortunately, unlike AKASHA, do not have automatic repair systems, the advanced allow will slowly regenerate them, as if they were an actual wound, but there's no way to really hurry them.

You collect the fauna and add them to your terrarium, which, as of now, is essentially just a replica of the pools.

It would be possible, but you'd need to get your hands on a sentient brain, first, then you'd need to collect several insects or small creatures, and make them each take on a single brain-function. Essentially, you could make a sentient pile of bugs, acting as a single mind.
>>27205595
And yeah, you also won;t see much of it until she regains her memory.

>>27205644
You start up your bioforges and create your own variant on the Soulforms, which are genetic replicas of creatures you've researched, using various forms of DNA you brought with you.

You produce 2 incredibly fast Flatworms, with the ability to scale objects, and eyesight better than the average Planarian. Scouting Planarians created.

You create a form of bacteria, mixed witht he highly enriched liquid you found them in, and use them to increase the regeneration process. This Repair Bacterium will essentially make you a neon, insectoid swamp thing.
>>
>>27205734
Send out 4 lesser bioforges 1 mile into the cave system in separate directions, cataloging life as they go. Send 2 outside via the crash site with the same orders. Do not engage with hostiles.
>>
>>27205734
We can make ourself not be neon afterwards, right? Because we don't always want to glow green.

Send the Scouting Planarians upwards and out the hole we made in the ceiling, we want information on the surface before we make our way there.
>>
>>27205824

Advise caution in regards to venturing outside. Send scout planarians first to investigate.
>>
>>27205859
But can they report anything though? Scouts are useless if they can't give us information

>>
>>27205877

The symbiotic link you have with your creations allows you to see what they see, on command.

The planarians eventuallt reach the top, after about an hour. It would seem AKASHA's estimates were wrong, as this region is clearly alpine, and the Planarians' incredible eyesight shows that the lower regions are steppes.

Should they return or continue exploration?

And yes, the glow will fade, in time.

>>27205931
Indeed, we have limited Biomass, our sole salution to this is juicing some specimens, not all can be researched, some just need to be squished into biomass.

While it cannot act as a mobile Bioforge at this stage, it can act as a juicer, spitting a volley of acid, and slurping up the liquidized remains of those it melts, to bring back to you. Its pincers can also act as a means of moving and consuming rock, which will be especially useful if we find any fossils.

The planarian begins to notice standing stones, eventually, it discovers a group of Natives. They seem to be drawing the patterns in the ground, a thuggish looking one nails a standing stone in the center of on of the circles.

Well, isn't that interesting.

Have the Planarian keep observing them, don't approach too closely.

How is the healing process coming along?

Can we make more Planarians to make scouting out the entirety of this underground system faster? We can always juice them later and get a fair bit of biomass back.

Maintain distance and observe. Attempt to decipher language of indigens.

Pattern a negotiator form after the general shape and body plan of indigens. Facilitate communication.

Consider converting cave system to a biomass farm. Recreate pools and cultivate bacteria, optimize conditions for growth.

Interestingly enough, they don;t seem to speak in a conventional fashion, rather, they make fluctuating, high pitched ringing noises, the kind you'd hear when your ears are damaged, at fluctuating volumes, towards each other.

Luckily, we have obtained an isopod, so we should be able to make at least mock representations of the creatures, making them bipedal, and having arms, may be difficult.

You produce two additional Scouting planarians, which map the entire cave system in about 3 hours, it is primarily a maze of green pits and Teal fungi walls. Its secluded nature and darkness may be an excellent Biomass farm, and, you begin repopulating it, fully emptying your tanks in the process.

Sun begins to set.

We should probably hibernate since it's night, let the bacteria and so on make more biomass and not burn power when we're solar powered and it's dark out.

Have the Scouting Planarians keep watch for anyone approaching the hole in the mountain we made.

Time to switch back to the other robot?

Use the centipede to scout for more creatures similar to the natives that can be brought back for study. Have the Scouting Planarians watch for potential hostiles while we power down for tonight. How much energy do we have after a day of being in the sun?

Sadly, no, I'm getting a tad tired AND we're near autosage.

I'm a bit new to actually hosting quests, and by bit I mean really new, so how does one get the quest on the archive?
>>

Go here.

http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/requestinterface.html?

Or go to the archive and click the button for the request interface.

Give the quest a name.

Put in a short description.

And add tags separated by commas. I'd suggest Terraformers Quest, Collective Game, and whatever other tags you feel are appropriate.
