He ends up as the planetary governor of an aqua-agri world. Primary export is the native shellfish.
>>
So... his attitude would be somewhat akin to Jurgens then? Utter obedience to authority and belief that his superiors know what they are doing?

By the end of the film he's established a thriving Rogue Trader Dynasty (operated by Commissar Dan)
>>
And he would be a Catachan, which would explain why they actually have black people in the division...its fuckin perfect.
>>
Big, fast, but dumb as a stump. Completely immune to Chaos, heresy and psyker abilities

In love with a bad news Lady Inquisitor, he joins the Imperial Guard to impress her.

Gump is not a perfect soldier, but he is an excellent tool. His loyalty to his fellow man, and simplistic devotion to The Emperor make him a highly sought member of an Inquisitorial Retinue.

There is also one trait that Gump seems to possess in great quantities. Luck.

That day, for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little purge. So I purged to the end of the road. And when I got there, I thought maybe I’d purge to the end of town. And when I got there, I thought maybe I’d just purge across Hive City Verdarch. And I figured, since I purged this far, maybe I’d just purge the whole hive world. And that’s what I did. I purged clear across the planet. For no particular reason I just kept on purging. I purged clear to the ground level. And when I got there, I figured, since I’d gone this far, I might as well turn around, just keep on purging. When I got to the upper hive, I figured, since I’d gone this far, I might as well just turn back, keep right on purging.

Guardsman Gump: [narrates] Now for some reason I fit in the Guard like one of them round pegs. It's not really hard. You just make your bed real neat and remember to stand up straight and always answer every question with "Yes, Commissar."

Guardsmen are usually tested for physical and mental fitness in a rudimentary sort of way prior to conscription/volunteering.

A test of intelligence wouldn't be out of place in some recruitment centers.

Britain. The 40K setting is a metaphor for the United Kingdom, from a British point of view.

The High Lords of Terra is the British Parliament. Constantly making proclamations and orders while being completely isolated from the reality they're trying to legislate and ignorant of all but the most general information about 'their' people.

The emperor is the Royal Family. Stagnant, useless, but inspiring as a beacon to lead the people.

Orks are Australians, Irish, Chavs, and Americans. Boisterous noise-making savages that almost speak the same language but spend too much time obsessing over needless conflict, loud machines, guns, and brutality.

The Eldar are the rest of Europe. Ancient, full of history, culturally stagnant, and politically and militarily irrelevant.

The Nids are foreigners, constantly eating up resources.

Chaos is the former colonies that have gone independent, or the youthful rebellion against a failing and decaying system, depending on how you look at it.

Tau are the asian countries, finally growing up and making a name for themselves.

Were you under the impression that 40K was anything other than a colossal joke? One massive lump of dry British humor?

Having an "average" IQ at such a you age doesn't actually reflect that well.

I took an IQ test as a child and scored 170, Its not that impressive either because the test is so unreliable when so young because the smaller numbers leave a much larger degree of variabilty.

For instance the Standard deviation of an adults IQ test is about 15 points while its upwards of 30 for children and 20 for adolescence.

below 85 is borderline and 70 is retarded. Average intelligence is always 100, its not a percentage system.

That and the fact that IQ tests are complete garbage. The only thing the IQ test is an effective measure of is your ability to take IQ tests.

>Traitor Guardsmen Gump
But Abiddan You got no arms!
>>
That feel when Forrest Gump actually has high strength, dexterity, wisdom, fortitude, and charisma.

Intelligence was his... "Gump stat".

FORREST GUMP, HIGH LORD OF TERRA
>>
>>27430061
Would probably becomes a Nob. A particularly dumb and inoffensive (toward other orks) Nob. Never got assassinated because he never wanted to be the Boss, always do what others ask him to do.

>>
>>27439606
its pretty awesome, and imagining him as a guardsman is also awesome
he is the perfect soldier
>>
So how many Fate points does Guardsman Gump have?
>>
>>27439606
It's basically a series of "retarded man is the best at everything in history" sequences.

In the book he goes to the moon.

Yes, it's still a good movie.
>>
>>27439606
If you haven't seen that I can't even fathom what else you missed
>>
>>27439694
Accidentally the best. He rarely succeeds on purpose. Except at running. He can do that very well.
>>

He's in a version of the Imperial Cult that thinks humans with the wrong skin color are just as bad as / worse than abhumans.
>>

>>

That would be the height of hilarity, not only is there GUARDSMAN GUMP HERO OF THE IMPERIUM, but theres a polar opposite that causes so much confusion in the realm of the warp that Gods' and mortals alike are made dumbfounded

where does Canada fall? We are actually quite cordial with the ol' mother nation.
>>
>>27441639
>Canadian
>-na
>Cadian
>>
>>27441639
Cadia = Canada.
Although we don't have many troops we actually have some of the best trained soldiers in the world. They actually say an average Canadian soldier is the equivalent of a navy seal, minus the extreme specialization. The Cadian's are viewed as the best in the imperium. Cadia is on the edge of the imperium holding the rebel chaos at bay. Canada is on the Edge of the British empire holding the rebellious Americans at bay, where they worship war-fare/weapons, money, knowledge, self-indulgence, or are slaves to their own illnesses. Also the entire planet of Cadia has the same environment as Canada, minus the ancient alien monoliths, although we do have totam poles. We also dont have purple eyes from staring at the abyss of chaos all day.
>>
>>27441106
I'm afraid not. Enemies of the Imperium has a bunch of images, that would probably be the best place to look.
>>
>>27426302

I love that mental image that the Catachans have such contempt for the other regiments that they send a goodamn retard as a representative.

Why?

Because they fucking can.
>>
>>27428089
>Ok, now do the part were he talks about everyone and where they were from.

>There was Terra, from Amerigo Segundus; Cadia, she was from Armageddon; and Vostroya... well, I don't remember where Vostroya came from.
>>
>>27442085
HA! I like it!

You are aware that the purple-eyed Cadians were all exterminated by the Word Bearers (in order to keep their heresy a secret) and the planet was resettled in M.32 following the first Black Crusade, aren't you?
>>
Forrest gump is an eternally reincarnating soul.

He was the one who gave the Emperor the idea to reclaim the human race entirely by accident.
>>
>>27425974
It used to be pretty good. You could get a ton of cheap food as a kid and it was great. At least in Hawaii
>>
>>27440160

He was a Redemptionist
>>
>>27428078
ahhh you're an idiot. It'd be endearing if we had less idiots in 4chan already.
>>
>>27424946

The setting now makes slightly more sense.

He's Eldrad's half-eldar bastard child
>>
>>27424946
This already happened. His name is Durkin.
>>
"Commissar Dan was always on the look out for some guy named Harry C."

"There was Kasr, from Cadia. Carter, from Mars. Jung, from Catachan. And Vos... I dunno where Vos was from."

"Commissar Dan was always yelling 'Glory for the first man to die! CHARGE!' And so we did."
>>
>>27451395
>Carter, from Mars
AH! I see what you did with that!
>>
>>27424946

HE would do really well. Assuming you mean the book version where he is a genus at math and shit.
>>
>Commissar Dan helped me invest my money in some techpriest's fruit company. What a techpriest is doing growing fruit, I don't know, but he must grow a lot of it.

>Lord Paramount Gump explaining part of his his enormous furtune
>>

Okay but who are the Necrons?
>>

Egyptian-terminator-tomb kings in SPHESS what did you think they were?
>>

I had a computer science professor who said something very similar.

If they get so old that not even juvinat treatments can keep them in fighting condition, then yeah they retire.
