The beach is calm and you can see some houses in the distance, following the beach. Behind you, a river that flows straight into the sea you just came from and following it upstream you can see a dense forest.

The turtle brain is slow, but it eventually gets the message. It put’s it’s head out of its shell and before it can process, the jaguar has already killed it. It is unable to eat all of it, but it is pretty happy with itself. It is not a very smart creature, so its range of emotions is very limited, but it feeds you quite well.

The lower half is like a fish, the upper half like a mixture of fish and human. You can see no nose, but you notice gills on their necks. Still invisible, you go up to the surface. You can’t let that information leave this place. It is not fun being hunted.
“Holy crap. So the Thing is back?”
“It appears so. When was it, 200 years ago?”

“Just when we were beginning to believe it was a legend, a child’s tale… this happens.”
You approach the horses. They are simple minded beasts, so it is not hard to instill in them the feeling of anger. Fueled with rage against their masters, they attack, trying to trample the humans.
The diplomat is out within seconds, but the soldier manages to take one of the horses down with his spear before being knocked out. The following seconds are used by the remaining horse to make sure that both heads are as flat as a leaf. It then proceeds to flee, leaving it’s companion to die.

That is it. The information is never getting out, even though it would be a good idea to get rid of the bodies. The other horse is gone, but it doesn’t matter. You are safe.
