Peter Parker Quest, Issue 20>Rules: http://pastebin.com/w5G3aG3Y>Character sheet: http://pastebin.com/q1AqTT5h>My twitter: https://twitter.com/QuestOp>Archives: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Peter%20Parker%20QuestFlash lets out a noise of understanding before clearing his throat. “Well, I need to get back to my normal schedule. I’m trying to do some regimens every morning you see. Later, Parker, Miss Watson!”He runs off as you hear Mary Jane let out a sigh of relief. Looking back at her, it seems she has a bandage wrapped around her hand. “Is your hand alright?”Mary Jane’s hand retracts into her sleeve like she was bitten as she looks anywhere but you. “..eah, fne…”Seems like she’s not wanting to talk about it, but if it was a problem Aunt May would have mentioned it, considering she was at Anna Watson’s yesterday. When you arrive at school, you see a familiar figure standing out front looking around. When she sees you, she waves calling out.“There you are, Peter!”Standing there in a short skirt with a coat over it is Felicia Hardy grinning and waving at you. You blink, lift up your glasses, and look again. Yeah, she’s standing there, grinning wider as she approaches you, bouncing on the balls of her feet excitedly before pausing, a devious look in her eyes as your spider sense slightly tingles, almost unnoticeable next to the haywire storm that is Mary Jane.>[ ]What are you planning?>[ ]Ready and…. >>27590047>>[X]Stand your ground and take whatever she’s got plannedThis got complicated...
>>27590047>Stand your ground and take whatever she’s got plannedLet's see where she's going with this.
>>27590047>[x]Stand your ground and take whatever she’s got plannedthis can only end well
>>27590047>distract her. Use our Parker smile."Hey, Felicia, this is a surprise," "This is my neighbor and childhood...frenemy...turned recently returned friend, Mary Jane.""Mary Jane, this is Felicia. Sorry I stepped on your introduction, but after Flash earlier I know you're shy around new people"

>>27590047>[ ]Stand your ground and take whatever she’s got plannedBecause why not. Also who's up for having MJ pass Gwen a sealed letter that simply says "Tingle?".There's got to be a better way to do this, but we need to check it out.
Rolled 6>>27590184>>[X]Stand your ground and take whatever she’s got planned>>27590184Not on this quest, things are different.
>>27590047So what's the explanation for why Peter knows Felicia? The real one is off the table for public use, after all. So who is she? Just someone he knows? Felix's sister that he met while over at their house for tutoring? Felix himself, having finally come out of the closet as being transgendered? See, this is why you need to tell us before you pull things like this, Felicia. The surprise is pleasant, but now we don't know the back story required for this interaction.
>>27590220She's Felix's twin sister that's been home schooled to spend time with him but after becoming interested in Peter decided to try regular school.
>>27590220Girl we met at the library maybe?
>>27590230We met her while we were out and about one night. It is the truth after all.
Cyborg Quest/ Peter Parker Quest crossover when?when Ironman goes public perhaps?
>>27590084We ain't fraid of no girls. Take it like a Spider-man.
Rolled 1>>27590236Gwen is spidergirl, Mary Jane is a anti social girl and Felicia was a girl pretending to be a dude. Hobogoblin came earlier and Carnage is happening right now.We are on Cosgrove wild ride.
>>27590243Wait there is a cyborg quest?>>27590252it was the image of what she was about to do to us except replace mary with gwen(she lost the second black cat came)
>>27590252Don't forget that Hobgoblin was probably hired by Gwen's stalker to kill us, Mary Jane is constantly setting off our spider sense and has inexplicable injuries, and Jameson actually approves of us. We're in extreme non-canon territory. And I love it.
Rolled 9>>27590047>[ ]Ready and…. Dodge!
>>27590243You know the logo Cosgrove used at the end was H.A.M.M.E.R.'s, so it isn't impossible.
>>27590279I believe that hobogoblin is our best bud hopped on drugs and is either after gwen because he likes her our he likes us.
>>27590216No, this just sounds weird. Like...creepy-weird.
>>27590279So do I Anon, so do I.
>>27590273Yeah. I wouldn't feel too bad about it, but our last interaction with Gwen before radio silence was flirting with her. And then when things did go wrong we just assumed it was because we had screwed up and she didn't want to talk to us, not that it had anything to do with the stalker, so we kind of moved on. Whoops. Sorry, Gwen.
>>27590335It happens. Moments get lost. Like tears in the rain.
>>27590335we work fast to, just a week or two after confessing we are already dry humping a perverted "virgin".
>>27590293Osborn confirmed for brawl.I missed the end though and I don't think it was archived.
>>27590299I really don't want to think it's Harry. But he does seem like the most likely suspect. Access to Oscorp's labs, money to pay the callers into harassing Gwen for him, weird tension over how Peter and Gwen were hanging out... It all fits. And he wasn't there in class with us when the Hobgoblin attacked. It could very easily be him. Throw in the doubts over whether he ever truly considered us a friend or was just a plant for Osborn and Pete should at least be a little suspicious.
>>27590392This and it has been shown that he can hire look alikes.
>>27590370>>27590335Bitch said nothing, not even when HoboGolbin THREW A FUCKING BOMB that would have killed us or killed everyone else but peter and gwen. Then we fought a life and death battle that we sorta won. She never talk again to us to today..which is like a month. Even with Osborn problems, she did nothing to help unlike Black cat with her experience.
>>27590392I bet it's Norman and in this universe he's a ephebophile.
>>27590394HAHA! Time to read about robot fights real quick while playing I'm My Own Master Now on loop!
>>27590413Because she was probably threatened by the stalker.I mean she's apparently under surveillance, and is still being harassed by phone.Plus we never exchanged email addresses.
>>27590413again she could had been threaten with her fathers life, our aunt/uncles life, the schools life, or even ours and told to stay away.(its not like it isn't a common trope)
>>27590370Hey, she dry humped us. She's the one who works fast, not us. Probably it's because she's just excited to have someone to share the secret aspects of her life with. She lives alone, she must have a strong longing for company. Add to it that said confidante is her equal in physical skill (even if being half-spider is cheating), appreciates her, and is pretty cute and it makes sense that she'd be so excited about the possibility of a relationship.
>>27590429Still, she didn't even try? She didn't say yes or no to our confession.>>27590444Equal? Hah. She be more skill but physically? We broke all human limits.
>>27590441We still got bomb, and still at risk. So i don't think our life could be at anymore risk. Hobogoblin can kill peter aunt and uncle at anytime.
>>27590453Pretty sure Peter isn't fully aware of his potential strength yet.
>>27590444Just because shes lonely doesn't excuse the slutty behavior fortunately it never crossed the creepy lines.>>27590453I just assumed she was embarrassed and was to afraid to act.
>>27590463Well, the best i can think of is that attack was a reminder of what could happen.
>>27590429It's kind of worrying that she hasn't gone to her father with this, though. Her dad's a police captain. There's nothing he can do about it? I mean, I can see why she'd be too scared to do so after the stalker sends a fucking supervillain to kill Peter for sticking his nose in. But until that point it was just a regular stalker, as far as she knew. What did he say that so convinced her of his capabilities to carry out his threats that she couldn't go to the police for help, especially when said police live in the same house as her?
>>27590453She didn't try probably because we couldn't.I mean our failure to find a workaround instead of expecting her to do it was /tg/ being sucky.
>>27590505She probably was too proud and didn't want to ask daddy for help.
>>27590394>>27590293You're right... things might very well be getting more and more interesting.Hell we may have invented our own endboss. Peter would have a DAMN hard time dealing with Alice in any capacity.
>>27590531Or the guy who was able to bomb a school and get away with it just said "You say anything, and I'll kill daddy."
>>27590555He was asking why she didn't come to her father before.
>[x]Stand your ground and take whatever she’s got plannedYou stare her in the eyes, but don’t move. You hold your ground as you face her down. In the back of your mind, a tumbleweed passes by with that old wild west theme. Felicia smirks before tensing, falling back onto her heels before pouncing at you in a tackle-hug.You’re more than strong enough to hold up to her assault and stay standing as she wraps her arms around you. You hear a gasp behind you as Felicia tightens her hug. You glance backwards as best you can to see Mary Jane staring in shock at you- a look of disbelief on her face. “…wwhhaaa!”It’s the loudest exclamation you’ve heard from her yet as she stares at you like you’re made from non-Euclidean geometry. Felicia lets go, staring at Mary Jane curiously before cocking an eyebrow and glancing at you, gesturing at your neighbor with her thumb.“Who’s she?”>[ ]My neighbor>[ ]Oh, that’s just Mary Jane>[ ]…Haaaave you met Mary Jane?>[ ]Write in
>>27590531When you take into account that in this timeline that Gwen has spider powers as well as Peter showing just what can be done with them costume and PR wise, she really should be more than just a damsel in distress waiting for Peter to deal with the problem. Being the daughter of a police officer, she should atleast have enough points in investigation to make progress at identifying her stalker.
>>27590444Don't forget that Peter has showed off his Big Brain for her. She's a lady of refined taste and while she may continue to steal to support herself, only a blind woman would miss Parker's potential earning potential once he gets a respectable lab to work with. The owners of the Johnson and Johnson chemical company would murder each other if it meant their lab jockies got results like Peter does when he puts his mind to it.

>>27590709I agree with this anon.
Eh I think it might not be a good idea to say anything about Felicia introduction wise.Since who knows what excuse she has for this latest appearance.
>>27590758Well this should be delightfully awkward for everyone involved if it turns out she's using a different alias.
>>27590660Probably a good idea.
somebody is dropping spaghetti, the question is whom? or are we getting a double, potentially triple serving
>>27590591"Oh, that's Mary Jane Watson. She used to pick on me a lot when we were little. She's actually the source of a lot of my self image issues. She moved away a few years ago, and I moved on and outgrew her abuse. Now she's back and trying to pretend she never treated me like dirt. Her aunt and mine are friends. That's about the extent of it."
>>27590709Yes, we're Peter Parker. That was the intent.
>>27590836...That seems awfuly mean to say in front of the poor little monster.
>>27590836are we Peter Parker or Petty Parker?
>>27590836Grow up, broseph. We were capable of forgiving Flash fucking Thompson for years of much worse abuse less than five minutes ago.
>>27590872Seeing our earlier behavior towards Mary Jane, it's obviously the latter.
>>27590847It's completely true though. It's not insulting, bu it lets Mary Jane know exactly where she stands in our eyes. If she's the least bit human, she'll take the hint and use this as an opportunity to apologise to us (something she's never done). If not, it makes it easy for us to dismiss her by letting her onow that we've gotten 'the best revenge'. We're living a better life without her in it.
>>27590902I feel sorry for the people in your life.
>>27590902>We're living a better life without her in it.She already knows that.Given that you know her mom is dead, her dad is abusive, and she has more or less completely stopped caring about taking care of herself, or making friends, and almost got raped like a week ago.
>>27590902Way to blunt to be using in an introduction to our girlfriend. Seems more like something you'd want to say in private with the person if you don't want to be a complete jerk about it now that you have a little self-confidence
>>27590892Yes but flash apologized. MJ has not, and still regsrds us with contempt if the 'arranged not-date' May set up is any indication. If MJ takes this opportunity to grow up and extend an olive branch, I'd suggest we take it. But she needs to show real contrition like Flash did.
Ive been waiting for this quest. My flesh is ready. My soul is willing. My mind is allight with the delicious possibilities! [X] haaaave you met Mary Jane.
>>27590929You do get that she's pretty obviously severely depressed right?Unless she's also a serial killer.
>>27590966Or the daughter of a serial killer.
>>27590966serial killers get depressed too
>>27590966I'd sort of prefer her being a serial killer because Emo MJ would be outside Peter's typical problems he has to deal with. Emotions and all that is tricky business.
>>27590982That could be interesting....though once it comes out that Hobby isn't a suspect in an FBI serial investigation, we gotta get in that.
>>27591000Wait... you would prefer dealing with a girl who forms sentences with other peoples organs over a girl having a hard time adjusting to mutant powers?Dude.Priorities.
>>27590986You'd think that they'd be too depressed to kill serially.
>>27590929That wasn't her showing us contempt. That was her really not wanting to go on a date set up by her aunt. You know, just like us. She got frustrated and wandered off, but I think that was more because of her general anti-social nature than any particular antipathy for Peter. All her other interactions with us have been, well, not friendly, but certainly not antagonistic. She honestly seems like she's trying to be nice and agreeable, it's just that this is the best she can do. Her not apologizing for something that was over a decade ago is not a big deal, given that she can barely talk.
>>27590929Her mother is dead, her father was an abusive prick who abandoned them both, and she's become such a recluse that she's a redheaded Tomoko. How about you learn a thing or two about context and politeness? You say this, I guarantee MJ will just run home crying.
>>27591033At least the former speaks full sentences to us. We've barely gotten two words out of EmoJ.
>[ ]…Haaaave you met Mary Jane?A grin crosses your face as you wrap your arm around Felicia’s shoulder and gesture at your old… acquaintance with the other as you raise your voice a little. “…..Haaaave you met Mary Jane?”Felicia stares at you, long and hard. “You are not bro-zoning me are you? Because I am not okay with that, nor am I into girls.”She then turns to Mary Jane and gives her a smile. “Hey there, I’m Felicia Hardy. Pleased to meet you!”Mary Jane’s pupils contract as she tries to give a smile. “…..”After a few seconds, Mary Jane pantomimes looking at a watch before running off into the school. Felicia looks at you, slightly disturbed. “Was it something I said? She didn’t even have a watch on.”You can only shake your head as you glance at your actual watch. Funnily enough, you should be heading in if you want to reach class in time.“Um, Felicia, so what’s your story, so I have it straight?”She grins. “I’m Felicia Hardy, Felix Hardy’ fraternal twin. When the ruckus happened at school, Felix’s health deteriorated so as a cost saving measure while he was sent to a hospital in California that can better deal with him, I was pulled out of my all-girls private school and sent here. I met you while you were seeing Felix before he left and we hit it off.”“It isn’t too far off the mark, so it wasn’t hard to make records appear. Anyway, see you later, there‘s stuff I have to take care of.”Her voice is quiet as the two of you walk into the school and head your respective ways. You stop by your locker and open it to grab your books, but they‘re out of their normal order, oddly. You glance at your watch to see you have about five minutes until Chemistry. >[ ]Investigate books>[ ]Head to class>[ ]Talk with someone (who?)>[ ]write in
>>27591035Well, when you're depressed it's natural to seek comfort in favored pastimes. It doesn't really work, but that just leads them to try even harder. Hell, that could be why Spider-Man is so interesting. Regular murder hasn't been helping, maybe hunting and killing a superhuman will get them out of this funk.

>>27591198We have the spider tracers, which somehow transmit on the same wavelength as the spider sense. Well, I think they do. Some of the comics have stated that it's actually just Peter's latent ability to understand the language of spiders, and that's what it's communicating on. Which really just raises more questions of how he built the tracers, but I'm getting off topic. The point is, it should take all of about five minutes to rewire one to transmit Morse. We could do it during the lunch break, even.

>>27591409Actually now that I think about it, him leveraging the "If you talk to Parker, I'll tell Oscorp about his little spider bite. They'll be coming to take him away, ha, ha." threat would be a convenient way to keep her quiet.

When gym class rolls around, we talk to the coach about borrowing any Kinesiology textbooks he may have, preferably college level stuff. Make a point of asking Flash, publicly, where the best gym to go swimming is. He's a jock, he'll know. Catch up with Harry at lunch time. See what he thinks of our new girlfriend. Use library computers to search for good, minimally commercial martial arts studios that focus on the harder self-defense arts. After school we spider-sneak ou way in and drop a letter in Gwen's locker, asking her to text our unlisted number. Sign it with a spiderweb.
>>27591514Spider,I looved you..Why did you abandon meee?-Venom.
>>27591524She more likely left something behind, but yeah lets search it.
>>27591524...Dude, just stop.
>sorry for delay, writing now.
>>27591533So has there been any comic that has venom and spiderman together when spider man is in the process of becoming man spider?
"Damnit, my locker is stuffed with these messages! Who the hell is this 'Vemon' guy?!"
Peter,How much are you willing to believe in alternate realities and time travel? Meet me on the roof aftershool so we can chat about the "web"-Michael O'Hara
>>27591531Martial arts really isn't a priority right now.
>>27591547Also, would you kindly roll me a perception check? 1d20+4, DC16

>>27591578Shit, mistyped, sorry guys.
>>27591578Boom goes the dynamite
>>27591578Damn it! You screwed up the modifier. It doesn't count! Oh well, at least we passed.
>>27591567>Carnage picks MJ as a host
>>27591562Peter,Not to alarm you, but how much do you know about cloning?-Peter.
>>27591512Okay, when you have constant stimuli to your nerves they become less sensitive (it's why you don't feel the air around you until it becomes notable in some manner. Spiders tend to detect things through vibrations in their webs, so when you put the two in the same logical space, you have the potential for the sense to start scaling back in it's sensitivity to stop detecting something that's constantly stimulating it. So Gwen who's essentially under the Hobgoblin's thumb as it were, is constantly having her spider sense going off until she becomes normalized to the stimuli. We'll know if this is the case after we put the Hobgoblin in jail and Gwen remarks on her spider sense being "too quiet"
>>27591610I'm still pretty sure the Hobgoblin is a hired gun, not the stalker himself.
>>27591605>Peter,HULK LEARN HOW 2 RIGHT! U AND STARK NOT ONLY GEENYUSES IN TOUN-HULK.
Rolled 8 + 4>>27591605Peter,I'm a huge fan of yours, but I'm also a fan of Octavius! What should I do?Ollie Osnick
Rolled 10 + 4>>27591610Or you can just use our experience with Mary Jane and how she is basically white noise to us.(which is honestly bad if any bad guys find out.)
>>27591629Yeah his entire attack screams overzealous underling
couple of theories on why MJ sets of our spider-sense1. she's some sort of spider eating hybrid2. she's a yandere that's crushing on us.3. she's a reporter.
>>27591558It should be. If Spider is going to hunt the Hobgoblin, he at least needs to know more about punching than how to take one. Peter never fought back, never fought at all, so taking on a trained fighter with roughly equal powers is a quick root to a shallow grave.>>27591569But he could/should be. And asking Flash about it publicly gives us an excuse/cover later if someone notices that we aren't as 'puny' as 'puny parker' used to be.
>>27591648I'm pretty sure she has a doom field. She slowly kills everyone around her.
>>27591648Eh 2 maybe. But you forgot the idea that she is a mutant with wasp based or uncontrolled powers
>>27591648You forgot that she's the serial killer?
>>27591648might be a mutie
>>27591665Or maybe she's a mutant that hasn't manifested yet.Cosgrove must love how we all constantly speculate.
>>27591635>>27591637Peter,Heard about you from Cat, need a break from Marko. Call me. <3-Shulkie.
>>27591635Wrong hulk there.
>>27591692We're basically doing half the work of writing for him. He jus needs to wait a while and pick his favorite half-baked hare-brained idea from the mass we spew out.
>>27591692The mutant angle would be a great lead in to one of those mutant recovery missions the xmen love so much.
>>27591653>we aren't as 'puny' as 'puny parker'Or we could be inconspicuous and make sure we don't dramatically change and bring attention to us.
>>27591716Actually, I script different ideas/plot hooks ahead of time before I even hint at them. But it is amusing, yes.
>>27591716Not that I've ever done it myself, but i always got the sense that that was a good part of being a DM/QM. Commuter, care to comment, having been my DM?>>27591729And give us the truth well before mutants are outed.
>>27591702Peter,I have become aware that you are going by the moniker 'Spider-Man' and am issuing a cease and desist order.Richard Wentworth
>>27591729but would they need to yet? the world does not yet hate and fear them.>>27591748half the fun of game mastering,
>>27591629Assassins don't tend to take jobs that require them to rob a third party for the assault. And since everything went missing before the attempt, it's more logical to assume someone tech savvy enough to break into Oscorp and frame Black Cat is also the guy that was watching us through the cameras.
>>27591748Now I'm wondering if Alice from Cyborg Quest is the female Deathlok(et) of this universe.
>>27591748So does Mary jane have any siblings in your universe?
>>27591754I commented before I saw your prompt.
>>27591793switched from phone to lappy,
>>27591772Not... not really. There are a lot of other possible explanations.Hobs seemed lacking in the finesse department
>>27591791That's true, she does have a younger sister Kristy in 616.
>>27591818Stuffing notes in her locker, and calling her phone incessantly is finesse?
>>27591772Also this guy was not an established assasin. He was looking to make it big.The tech was almost certainly part of the payment.Plus he is NOT the same person as the stalker because he showed no interest or regard for gwen.
>>27591823Didn't she also have a stalker that cloned peter?or was that he cloned her
>>27591823Or, in this universe, she can have an older or younger brother. Who may or may not be a serial killer. With Cosgrove, who knows.
>>27591823Huh, I did not know that.
>>27591846I assumed Hobgoblin got the stuff on his own, and decided to become a mercenary, and then got hired by the stalker.
>>27591823Actually looking at the Marvel Wiki the sister is Gayle Watson, an older sister, and the cousin is Kristy.
>>27591853Both, actually, many times.
>>27591876Yeah, you are right. Can't assume anything. This is Cosgrove's universe.
>>27591879Impossible. Those two events occurred too close to each other for Hobbs to have gotten any sort of reputation for competence.
>>27591886No, that's the Jackal. He was obsessed with Gwen, not MJ.
>>27591879Or he can be the company janitor who stolen the tech and Qwen happen to caught his eye.
>>27591915Gwen has the stalker, I thought we were talking about Gwen?Miles Warren, who was one of the scientists at the Oscorp tour.
It's not related to this quest, but holy fuckshit am I pissed right now.I'll catch you guys in a little while after I've lifted enough heavy things before putting them back down to quell this rage.
>>27591940Feel better anon!
>>27591851Why would he? I mean think about it; put yourself in his shoes. You are constantly harassing this girl you like from dating other boys, then some guy who breaks all her other patterns (in that she doesn't immediately break off contact with him as Gwen herself implied she does) confesses to like her and they've been "off the grid" together for long periods of time? When you go to kill this fucker moving in on your girl, are you going to pay any attention to her? Because this is why I think Hobgoblin is Gwen's stalker, the timing of occurrences between us confessing and Gwen breaking off contact, and then between the break in at Oscorp and then the attack on us are to close together for this guy to take out a hit on us. Especially since this is New York *AND WE TOOK UP JOGGING AFTER THE BITE*, an Assassin could have trivially shot us between school and home and nobody could have flown out of the country in less than an hour.
>>27591929He was replying to a post about MJ and her sister.Miles Warren makes perfect sense now that you mention it though.
>>27591974Ah, my apologies then.
>>27591974True, i didn't think about him, but i still think its harry who is the hobgoblin and that warren became her stalker.
>>27591964But he threw a high-yield grenade at someone who was like less than ten feet from Gwen. That doesn't make sense at all, since she would have certainly died had we not threw the pumpkin bomb out the window.
>>27592028So this means that the stalker and the goblin are only related slightly or the goblin didn't know she was there.
>>27592028Or it can just landed on our desk by chance.
>>27591964I can see where you would think that. Because our actions did cause the hobgoblin debacle. But think about it like a detective for a second.Somone obsessed enough to stalk amd harass gwen isn't going to kill her as a random casualty. That has no meaning.Hobs was aimed at peter parker because peter parker was the problem. However the stalker chose someone with a hollywood action movie sensebof assasination.Which is why he didn't ust blow up our house. He wanted it to be public. He wanted to be awesome. The stalker would have killed us at home where gwen was in no danger, then arranged something more personal for her.
>>27592028And? Based on the evidence we have, Gwen's stalker is very single minded. I mean considering the effort it would take to run just the racket around Gwen would be more than most non-deranged people would go. If he was the kind of guy to concern himself with people around the focus of his attention, he might have been able to arrange to kidnap her well before now.I mean it's a valid point, but until we meet the stalker in person we have next to nothing about who he is.
>>27592053Not a very good stalker then!
I still think we should've done more research on the methods the stalker is using. Like, go jogging around her neighborhood to see exactly where the monitored area is. Map it out using our spider-sense, that sort of thing. Then maybe have Felicia go in to try and see where the hidden cameras are exactly since she's probably an expert at spotting and disabling them.
>[ ]Investigate books>DC16, result 18, success! You glance over the books, trying to see if there was any method to the rearrangement, but there doesn’t seem to be any you can notice. You flip through the books looking for anything and you almost miss it, but it seems like two pages have been taped together in one of your books- your chemistry book- and seem slightly thicker than two pages should be. Carefully removing the tape, you open them to see a small piece of paper with a familiar handwriting on it. With little effort, you realize that the two pages taped are pages for the chapter you’re currently in at chemistry. The handwriting, you’re pretty sure you recognize the methodical, printed script as that of Gwen’s handwriting. There’s a message on the note with today’s date.-Roof, Lunch. And that’s all on it. You quickly head to class and sit down in your seat. A few moments later, instead of Mister Lee, there’s someone else there. The man looks rather unremarkable and unenthused, his short brown hair barely combed and is beginning to look messy. He yawns. “Greetings. I’m Herman Shultz, your new substitute chemistry teacher. Mister Lee, following the events of last week has decided to take a leave of absence and I will be filling in for him. First of all, let me announce the student Felix Hardy has been withdrawn and we have a late entry, who is apparently his sister.”His voice is droning and uninspired as Felicia is gestured in and sat in Felix’s old spot. The teacher quickly picks up the lesson, but his droning, unenthused voice is almost enough to make YOU fall asleep. When the class finally ends, he takes a long look at the clock. “Now, remember to read the next chapter, there might be a pop quiz on Monday.”You don’t have time to stay, as his slow talking has put you over the end of class and everyone rushes to not be late to their next one. Eventually, it’s time for lunch.

>>27592078Not someone who's normal no. But a deranged psychopath Gwen was nice to once, and he fixates on her as a result? I can see the dude being so high on his murder boner that he doesn't consider the blast radius of his weapon. Hell, he might not have even tested the grenades and just assumed they were going to read his mind or something and do exactly what he wanted them to do at the time. Because blowing us up so close to Gwen, that's going to fucking traumatize her. Couple that with the messages that it's her fault, that /she/ got Peter killed, and maybe he comforts her in his "real" identity (a fellow student most likely)>>27592174>[ ]Check out the roof>>27592180>Actually we know a lot!> has enough cash to hire an assassinAnd you have any kind of proof that Hobgoblin is an assassin? >>27592260I know Shocker gets a lot of crap now, but he's historically not been one of the Loser Legion. It was really only after Bendis started writing him as a D Lister that he started being one in the main universe.
>>27592297Stark buys us out in a year and we spend the rest of our days living with Felicia on a private island in the Pacific.

>>27592348That... would be surprisingly nice...
>>27592301Yeah, but he's never been a major villain the way the other members of Spidey's rogues gallery are. He's a gun for hire, a standard go-to for when the plot needs supervillainy but doesn't merit the use of a big bruiser or master schemer.
>>27592297The arc reactor in the designs is also gigantic and requires materials you don't have access to, like palladium.
>>27592427But Tony Stark made one in a cave with a box of scraps.

To whom it may concern within the administration of Midtown Highschool,I understand Mr. Lee's desire for a leave of absence after last week's excitement...but I must protest to Mr. Schultz as the interim replacement. I live for science. I love science. I desire to use science to change the world and find a new cultural or technological singularity. Even with a full night's sleep, and a burning desire to get back to my academic passions, I almost fell asleep in class.Never have I been so un-engaged in the subject. Never have I encountered an educator so...incapable of inspiring, even with a student who cares about the work.So...take that as you will.-Peter Parker

>>27592665We tried but Hobogolbin, Osborn, Carnage took over.
>>27592665Yeah, sticking a note in the locker of the girl being stalked by a guy sticking notes in her locker can't possibly come off as creepy.Speaking of, who wants to bet this is a trap?
Rolled 2 + 6>>27592584I find it weird that people just plain ignored her the second black cat came out especially after we confessed after a few days(or hours) later when she showed up.
>>27592665Well assuming this isn't a trap gwen probably has a better handle on her situation than us. We tried talking to her when we didn't understand and we made things a lot worse via hobgoblin.
>>27592690It's because they were autistic enough to think that the silence was from Gwen rejecting us.
>>27592665Hey now, you're not the only one. It's just that the people who wanted to do other stuff with our time were more vocal. I've been advocating stealthy Spider-visits for a while.
>>27592690We didn't. We called repeatedly, we tried to talk with her, and after a week of her ignoring us we met someone else and decided to explore that relationship. It's not good, but it's not bad either.
>>27592180I'm still not convinced that the goblin and stalker are connected. I think there's a good chance that someone at oscorp (smythe?) arranged for the prototype weapons to be stolen and used to kill Parker, probably because whomever arranged it knows at least a little about Peter. Maybe Osborn decided to finally wrap up the last Parker loose end while showing off how deadly his tous are to prospective clients. Maybe Smythe or someone else decided to kill peter to hide the effects of the spiders. Maybe someone in the weapons project got tired of their budget being slashed to fund 'dead end super soldier research' and tried to prove how effective their project was by cleaning up the Spider project's 'mistake'.We still have very little to go on and we shouldn't jump to conclusions.
Rolled 2>>27592665we called her, tried to talk with her, send her notes/texts to her. She had a few chances to be honest.
>>27592690I never agreed to confess to her anyway.

>>27592733Yeah, that vote came while I was in class. I would not have had us say anything. But everyone was clamoring for waifus and spaghetti, so we went and did it anyway.
>>27592738She still attended school. I find it strange that she's NOW contacting us in such a discreet manner when she couldn't do it sooner.
>>27592726Maybe she never felt those exchanges were safe?We need to hear her out and talk to her.And be honest that there is also something complicated going on with someone else now, but it isn't entirely our deal to spill. On an unrelated note, we may have an extra set of hands on investigating Oscorp.

But, you wouldn’t respond, despite the fact that you know you can trust me. But, with everything that’s happened, I need to know who this guy is and what I’m dealing with, and how I can help you out.”Gwen remains silent for little while before speaking. “Look, it began as a bunch of notes. Some of them were flattering or poetry but I always threw them out. Eventually, they became more biting and they grew worse whenever I showed interest in a guy. So, that’s all it was I thought. Then the cameras came in after the Black Cat incident and I’ve wanted to tell you, or my dad, but that STUPID sense would act like it’s boring into my head whenever I tried, so I always didn’t do anything!”She freezes, her voice cracking as she takes a moment to compose herself. “And the more and more things went on, the worse it would get, so I tried to not talk to you because that sense would bore into my head anytime I did. >>27594107> Write in...I'm not really sure how to explain it, but there's a way you hug close friends when they've been pushed so far beyond their breaking point that you see the moment everything hits them right in front of you. It isn't romantic, but it is intimate because it incorporates feelings of support, and sympathy while also trying to physically demonstrate that you're there for them and that you aren't going anywhere...Hopefully you know what I mean since what I'm talking about kind of ends up tailored to each friend and their mental state. Also, not something I consciously think about often.
