Last Time On AGE QUEST!: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=Gundam+AGE+Quest
Check my twitter for when the next game is and possible delays: https://twitter.com/Crosswire

Your name is Scarlet Crocker and you’ve just found a shitload of human skeletons. Opening the door to the old shelter, you shin your flashlight inside the dark room, only to see dust, dilapidated machinery, and a lot of skeletons. Shoe prints have been left in the floor by all the people who fled down her to hide. With all the dust it’s very easy to see if anything has been disturbed, you can tell where a few people pushed a few barrels over.

“What the hell? What’s with all the skeletons?” You ask, looking to Fram worryingly.

“They were down there when we got here.” Fram replies with a frown, trying not to look at the skeletons...

“Well we were being attacked and I guess safety overrides staying in a creepy place like this, but why the hell did no one mention this?” You take a deep breath and clam down. Considering everything that’s been happening and how you have everyone running around it’s no wonder no one thought to bring this up to you. Mom must be really worried about Dad if she failed to mention this…
What do you wish to do Scarlet?

>A) Ask Fram about more details involving the shelter
>B) Take a closer look at the room you’re in and the skeletons
>C) Explore deeper into the shelter
>>
Examine the room. Does MaG have any info on this place?

We did bring a gun with us, just in case?
>>
It's the old Zarth HQ, isn't it?

It's here the old Feds made SID and the EXA-DB, and then sent them away with the Gundam on that ship we found in the graveyard.
>>
>>27661590
Look around in the room. There's "dilapidated machinery". What kind? And are there any personal effects on the skeletons? Considering that they've been reduced to dust and bones I'm not expecting to find any uniforms or documents, but something like laminated IDs or metal badges could still be here. That could tell us who these people were.
>>
>>27661969
>>27661785
>>27661687
You try to contact Ma G on your phone, but the signal is blocked, probably because of the shelters shielding. If you had to guess you'd assume she's clueless on the matter considering she didn't know the bunker was there in the first place.

You check your 10mm side arm. You've played too many tabletop games to know the importance of carrying a weapon while you're exploring. Thinking of tabletop games...you really hope these skeletons don't suddenly reanimate and attack you.

>>27661969
You examine the skeletons to see if they have anything on them. Outside of a few rotting pieces of fabric, dust, and bone you find a blue keycard in one of the piles. It's unlabeled and unmarked, but it's made of the usual plastic a card would be. Brushing it off you put it in your pocket.

Going over to the nearby machinery you begin to look it over...

(Roll 1d100 vs Computer skill to identify the machine. 30 or below will pass. 31 or above will fail. 1 is a critical success and 100 is a critical failure)

The machinery is old, rusted out, and totally useless but you can tell it was some kind of medical equipment. It may be old now, but when it was new it was probably pretty impress whatever it was.

"Medical Equipment? This doesn't seem like the stuff to have lying around in the entrance of a shelter. Maybe they were moving it?" You think to yourself as Fram stays by your side.

What do you wish to do now Scarlet? You've only seen the first room of the Shelter, and from what you understand there's a lot more to see.
>>
>>27662433
Medical equipment? Does it look similar to anything we have seen before?
If they were moving it, then these men died while attempting to relocate or evacuate before they were shot down or murdered. Do the bodies have any signs of gunshots on them? Or any sign of damage?

Anyways, tell Fram not to worry and to stick around us. Then move to the next room.
>>
>>27662433
Further into the shelter. Who knows what horrifying secrets we'll uncover? And they will be horrifying. We never uncover nice secrets. I guess if they were nice people wouldn't feel the need to hide them, but it's still kind of depressing. Just once I'd our investigations to end in us finding a surprise party, instead of dark truths.
>>
>>27662568
Yeah, who knows what we'll uncover in there. It's going to be something from the old war, but what? This could be either the old military headquarters or one of the many labs Uther mentioned, so whatever we find, it's not going to be pleasant.
>>
>>27662494
Some of the stuff is standard medical equipment, heart monitors, portable catscan machine, stuff you'd probably find in your bases infirmary. However there is some stranger stuff you can't quite identify, looks like some type of life support equipment?

"Stick by me Fram, don't go wandering off. This place is pretty creepy." You warn Fram, who nods not looking like she had plans to do otherwise.

Interested to learn more about the shelter you press deeper into it's dark bowels. Structurally it's pretty sound, but everything in the shelter is rotted, rusted, or inoperable. You find a lot more skeletons and a lot more medical equipment. You find rooms with loads of gurneys and beds in them. The place feels less like a shelter and more like a hospital, or a lab.

You and Fram come to a cross section in the hallway, with one leading to the left, one leading to the right and one leading straight ahead. At first you're afraid you'll have to guess where to go when Fram points out a little plaque on the wall.

COLD STORAGE >
SURGERY <
N&C LABS ^

So where do you want to head Scarlet?
>A) Cold Storage
>B) Surgery
>C) N&C Labs
>>
>>27662959
> A) Cold Storage
Let's see if we can find something or someone.
>>
>>27662959
>C) N&C Labs
What is "N&C"? Sounds interesting. "Nanotechnology and Cybernetics", maybe?
>>
>>27663071
I was thinking the exact same thing. This could be a place where they either made or experimented on cyborgs.

Oh, fuck, Rysis, what did they do to you down here?
>>
>>27662959
>C) N&C Labs
>>
>>27663406
>>27663071
You decide to go down go to the N&C labs, whatever those are. The hallway is as dusty, dark and dreary as all the others, but there are lots of rooms at the sides of the hall, windows into large decaying labs filled with large machines, smashed glass tubes, and a lot of skeletons.Eventually you come to a particularly large lab with only one skeleton. The skeleton's hand is under a desk, as if the person was trying to reach something before they died.

What do you want to do Scarlet?
>Investigate the Skeleton

>>27663726
Investigate the skeleton and the desk.

Ask Fram about this place, how did they find it? Did they find something interesting or did someone have any idea what this place was?
>>
>>27663726
>Investigate the Skeleton
They were reaching for something. Probably a hidden release or panic button, I'd guess. Either way, should tell us something.

How big are the broken glass tubes, by the way? Are they the sort that someone would be suspended in along with a nutrient bath while healing from some surgery? Or are they the boring kind that are just glassware for performing chemical reactions in?
>>
>>27663766
"How did you guys find this place exactly?" You ask as you look over the skeleton reaching for the desk.

"We went into the colony walls to avoid the battle, then someone found the door and decided to open it. At first everyone was freaked out about the skeleton, but after your Mom figured out it was a shelter everyone piled in without another complaint." Fram explains as you push the desk over to reveal something hidden underneath.

It appears to be a data drive attached to a cord leading in the desk itself. Investigating you find out there's a hidden microphone inside of the desk. You assume the drive must have recorded whatever the microphone picked up. Pocketing the drive, you notice it has a non-standard connection port, meaning that you won't be able to plug this into a computer without an adaption port of some kind.

>>27664185
The tubes, from what you saw, were too small to hold people, but too big to be standard test tubes. Maybe they were used to grow something?

What do you wish to do now Scarlet?
>Investigate the Lab

This is probably the place where Ezelcant got the tech for that Garden of Eden project.

Babies.
>>
>>27664651
Yeah, most likely. Zarth's got a pretty fucked up history, doesn't it?
>>
>>27664616
>>27664651
>>27664780
You being investigating the labs. They seem to have a lot of fine equipment in them. It's all ruined, but whatever they were doing required precise construction and modification. Along with the fine machinery you find some glass tubes that have been shattered. Inside of the tubes you notice a fine metallic powder has collected on the bottom. It's shiny, kind of silver dust or glitter. You notice some has gotten onto the floor at the foot of the tube.

"What was in these things? Some kind of liquid? Maybe it spilled out and dried? But what kind of liquid leaves metal dust behind?" You ponder.

Should you take the powder for analysis? You don't have any gloves on you so you'll have to touch the stuff if you want to sample it now, finding something to put it in shouldn't be that hard.

What do you wish to do Scarlet?
>>
>>27665031
Don't fucking touch it.
>>
>>27665031
See if there's something in which we can store a sample with. This is a lab, right? There ought to be some gloves nearby, and if they're not here, there're probably some in the surgery wing.
>>
>>27665031
First, poke it with a stick or something. Don't touch it yourself. Then, nothing happens, find some gloves and something to hold that stuff in.
>>
>>27665096
>>27665102
You decide not to risk touching it. There are some empty canisters lying around that would be perfect to carry the stuff in, but you'll need gloves. The surgery wing should have them. Will you head to the Surgery Wing now Scarlet?
>>
>>27665315
Yeah. Tell Fram not to touch anything, it could be dangerous.
>>
While we're down here, we should see if we can find any data or documents on what they did or researched. It'd help us figure what happened 200 years ago with Arthur, Rysis, SID and the EXA-DB.

So far, what we know for sure happened:
> Zarth used to house the EXA-DB and SID couple of months before the war ended.
> The EXA-DB and SID were moved onto a ship whose mission was to get them to an undisclosed location.
> The Gundam, Arthur and MID are aboard the ship, as is Travis and his team.
> Arthur is still sane - we know this from his diary and the tidbits MID told us.
> The ship moves to Minsry to help with the completion of CDACE.
> The ship gets attacked by Rysis, who kills Travis' entire team and critically wounds him.
> Arthur deploys and fights Rysis to a stand-still.
> Arthur goes MIA, Rysis somehow ends in a cryopod.
> Unknown forces (Vagan?) attack the ship, and blast it to kingdom come.
> Arthur appears later on the Gaia colony, and ends the war.
> Arthur and the Gundam go missing again, and the Gundam is found later on Zarth.

Uther's story about Arthur stealing the EXA-DB from him doesn't add up to this. If Arthur did steal the EXA-DB from him and put him into a cryopod, he only could've done so before the mission began, in which case Uther couldn't have known about Edol Inertia. There's also the fact that protecting the EXA-DB was a top priority mission issued by the Feds themselves, not something Arthur did on his own, as Uther claims.
>>
>>27665315
Sure thing. Though I am a bit worried to see what might be in there. I doubt it will be pleasant.
>>
>>27665335
>>27665800

You decide to head to the Surgery wing. Something about the dust makes you warn Fram not to touch anything. The two of you leave the N&C lab and head towards surgery to look for rubber gloves. After walking down another hallway you come to a series of rooms that look like proper operating rooms. They aren't so sterile now that everything is covered in dust.

Walking into one of the surgery rooms in the hopes of finding some gloves you see a bunch of skeletons around the floor of an operating table. On top of said table is something...disturbing. The only way you can describe it is a metal skeleton. A skull, ribcage, all the bones are there only they aren't totally bone. It's like someone coated them in metal to reinforce them...but from the smell you can tell that whatever this was, it wasn't a skeleton before.

You notice that the arms and legs are mechanical, with gaps and missing chunks probably being there due to whatever organic pieces rotting away.

"What the hell?" You mutter to yourself as you look over the scene.

Fram tugs your pant leg and holds up a box of rubber gloves she found. She doesn't speak, but it's obvious she doesn't like being in here...

>Leave and collect the sample back in the N&C Lab
>Stay and investigate the Surgery Wing.
>>
>>27665731
Nice recap, keeping this all straight will be helpful. Though I will point out that Edol Inertia could have been one of Uther's colleagues. Going by canon he helped create the EXA-DB, so he could have worked with Uther. Even the maddest of mad scientists needs assistants. So that could explain that discrepancy.
>>
>>27665936
(I too appreciate the recap. It gets tough to keep track of things even with everything I note down. This'll stop me from contradicting myself. Thanks)
>>
>>27665901
Grab the gloves and leave. And apologize to Fram. She's so mature and tough that we forgot that even she can be creeped out. She's a pretty badass kid, but this is still pretty disturbing.
>>
>>27665901
> Stay and investigate the Surgery Wing.
Somebody's experimenting with nanotech on corpses. Keep your gun at the ready.
>>
>>27666065
You've seen enough and decide to leave. Skeletons and the smell of death is creepy even for you, besides you don't want to scare Fram anymore then you have.

"Sorry about that..." You say, taking the gloves and walking back to the N&C Lab.

"Can we leave soon? I'd rather not hang around this place anymore." Fram asks with a frown.

"I'm just going to collect his sample and head to one more place, then we can leave. After this I'm going to visit an antique store to check something. Want to come?" You enter the lab and get one of the canisters, safely putting the odd metallic dust into the canister before sealing it and disposing of the gloves.

"Will the Antique Store have Skeletons?" Fram asks.

"I don't think it's that kind of Antique store." You say with a smirk.

You head towards Cold Storage, deciding to scope out the last place and head topside. You can always come down here later with men, and more flashlights, and a shitload of air fresheners.

(cont)
>>
>>27666374
You arrive at a large metal door that looks like a combination of a blast door and a freezer door. It's heavy and unlike everything else, isn't rusted to shit. The door doesn't look new by any means though, it's merely built sturdy.

For a moment you're about to leave, since you don't have any explosives on you and you don't feel like dislocating your arms trying to pull the door open. However you spot something out of the corner of your eye. A light.

A small LED light coming from a little security panel next to the door. Unlike everything else in this 'shelter' this is the first working device you've seen so far. It has a small little card reader in it...

Taking out the blue card you slide it through the slot and you hear a loud metallic grinding. The large door begins to open itself, releasing a wave of cold over your, frosty air pouring out of the room.

Looking inside you see parts. Body parts.

"Fram, stay out here. Don't look..." You say, stepping into the freezer. Lining the walls of the freezer are tubes containing body-parts, or rather, cybernetic components. Looking closer you see connectors sticking out of the end of an arm, bits and little hints that the parts aren't solely organic.

The freezer is filled with cybernetic parts and at the back you can see a couple of suits. They look like some kind of fancy full body armor, but parts of them look somewhat organic...

What do you wish to do Scarlet?
>Leave and head to the surface
>Stay and examine things more closely.
>>
>>27666666
Well, no good can come of this. Let's grab a suit real quick, then get out, lock the doors, and get back to the surface. We can examine the weird bioarmor topside. Probably it's not actually organic, if it's not in a storage tube like the cybernetics are, but it's at the very least biomimetic, and that has a lot of interesting implications. I want one.
>>
>>27666666
> Stay and examine things more closely.
>>
>>27666666
>Double Satan post in the body part freezer.
OBVIOUSLY this can only turn out well. We should totally grab an arm that would fit Dirk, for research purposes.
>>
>>27666038
No problem, man. My pleasure.

>>27665936
Yeah, maybe.

But it still doesn't fit with everything we know. Why would he assume that his old colleague is alive? Did Uther know that Edol was uploaded to SID, even though that happened after the war? If so, Uther either didn't sleep for the last 100 years, or he had a way to gather info on the EXA-DB and its administrators or even get in contact with them.

Also, interesting detail - the SENTINEL system was capable of overriding any AI on any suit, except the Black Raven - which was neurally linked with Rysis. The colonies made Rysis specifically to destroy the Gundam, gave her the best suit that was capable of neutralizing its greatest asset, probably screwed around with her head and sent her against the guy who they knew couldn't kill her. And if they did have a kid before, Arthur couldn't do anything against her. And the guy who knew what the SENTINEL system did and how to counteract it was Uther.

Uther's a dick.
>>
>>27666829
Do we know Edol was uploaded after the war? I mean, he's part of SID's central control unit, unless that was a later installation he should have been in there to begin with. Hell, maybe Edol volunteered for it because of his work with Uther. AIs could be suborned, especially ones descended from Uther's tech, but an upload runs on a different operating system. Even if he was uploaded after the war, that could explain why Uther expects Edol to still be alive, if Edol told him about his plan to safeguard the database.

And yeah, the fact that Rysis became the anti-Gundam weapon is pretty dark. There's a lot of backstory there that we don't know, about how she went from being Arthur's fiance to his nemesis, and I doubt any of it is happy.
>>
>>27666797
>>27666820
>>27666759
You grab a cart and load a suit and an arm and move to leave. Before you go you reseal the door. When you get the chance you'll come back here with some more men and bring all of that stuff back to the lab for the good Doctor to look over, until then she'll have this arm and a suit to play with.

Fram is quiet happy when the two of you leave the bunker and even happier when you reach topside. Loading everything into the car, you start it up think of where to go.

You could go to the base and drop off the stuff, or you could head to an antique store. They sell old, outdated computers and systems there, maybe you can find an adapter or a computer to access the drive you found.

What do you wish to do Scarlet?
>>
>>27667456
Hit the antique store and get some ice cream for Fram while going there.
>>
>>27667456
Take the stuff with us to the antique store. Maybe they'll be able to tell us about the drive. And what were we going to the antique store to get in the first place? I'm checking the last Scarlet thread and I don't see a mention of it.
>>
>>27667578
This thread, we offered Fram to take her there with us, probably to see if they have the parts for that data player we just dug up.
>>
>>27667605
I know it was mentioned this thread, I just wasn't sure if it was something that had come up before. So it's just Crosswire bringing up searching for an appropriate data player so we don't have to raise the issue, then?

You head to the antique store to try and find something to get into the old data drive. On the way there you get Fram some ice cream. You let her pick out her own flavor and she gets black raspberry, although the ice cream has nearly the same color as her own hair.

While she enjoys her ice cream you park the car and walk into the antique store.

"Hello there, I'm Mike. How can I help you?" The doughy, but rather friendly looking store owner asks.

"Yes. If found this old data drive but it has an odd port. Do you know if I can still access the information?" You ask, handing over the drive.

The store owner looks it over in his hands for a minute. "Absolutely. This drive is an older model then the ones we use now. They had a different port, the ones on newer drives allow faster downloads and uploads. I think I have an adapter in the back somewhere. Shouldn't cost you more then 10 credits."

"I'll give you twenty for it." You say, putting down 20 credits on the counter as the store owner fetches the adapter.

You leave the store, adapter and drive in hand and begin driving back to the base.

On the way there, Fram asks you a question. "Scarlet? When do you think all the fighting is going to stop?"

How do you want to answer her?
>>
>>27667700
Yeah.

>>27667013
Fair point, we don't know for sure when he uploaded himself. I assumed later on, because he and his daughter claim to have been the creators of the EXA-DB, and I doubt he could've created it if he was stuck inside SID. Maybe after the database was finished, he put his daughter into cryostatis and uploaded himself onto SID to stop it from going berserk because Ezelcant somehow managed to steal data from them.

As for Rysis and Arthur, the backstory is probably going to be dark. Uther said that tampered cybernetics tend to screw up with their owner's brain, and who knows how much the rebels messed with her. Maybe that's why Travis is hanging around her - they're not dating, they're just terrified that she'll go on a murder spree any moment because of her implants.
>>
>>27667903
Well, we have at least one more generation worth of fighting in us, maybe two. Though, this isn't counting if time travel is involved, but that just makes things all Wibbly Wobbly.
>>
>>27667903
"I don't know, Fram, sorry. We all want it to stop, and we're all doing what we can to make it stop. Me, my brother, mom, dad, everyone's doing their best so that this war ends soon. So don't worry about it, okay? You and your friends are going to be safe - I'll make sure of that!"
>>
>>27667903
"I can't say it will be soon, Fram. War has a way of sweeping people up in it. As a general rule, people want peace. They'll only go to war when they feel it's necessary. The problem is that right now we have a few people who are absolutely certain it is, and they've got enough power to drag the rest of us into it. Contradicting them is a struggle. But we're making progress. We save who we can, find ways to avoid battle whenever possible, and do our best to convince people that there are better ways to live. Eventually, people will stop listening to the warmongers. And it's not just here in the Federation .However much Ezelcant would suppress it I know it's happening in the Mars Sphere, too. You're proof of it, Fram. You had the choice to live a peaceful life rather than be made a weapon and you took it. Ending the war is going to take a while, especially with Ezelcant and Olfenoa pushing so hard for it on both sides. But it will end, probably within our lifetime, and it will be peaceful. Don't lose hope.
>>
>>27668576
>"I don't know, Fram, sorry. We all want it to stop, and we're all doing what we can to make it stop. Me, my brother, mom, dad, everyone's doing their best so that this war ends soon. So don't worry about it, okay? You and your friends are going to be safe - I'll make sure of that!"

"Thank you Scarlet." Fram smiles up at you, before biting into her ice cream cone.

You finally arrive on base and deliver the suit and the arm to Dr. Halsey, who is quite ecstatic at the site of them. "I'll get to examining these right away!" She say, taking them away, looking practically giddy.

You go to your office and connect the old data drive to your computer ala the adapter. You look over the contents of the drive and find that they're all audio files. Going to the last one made, you play it and listen...

???: “Have the Nano-Machines been applied to SID Doctor Zarth?”

Dr. Zarth “Of course they are. You people delayed long enough that were we able to install and fine tune them. For someone named Arthur King you aren't exactly much for Bravado are you? You could have left with SID any time you chose”

Arthur: “Safety is our primary concern right now. We need to get the Package and SID to the asteroid fortress. The data the Package contains could fuel the war for several decades and that is the last thing we need during peace talks…”

Dr. Zarth: “My, my you’re zealous one aren't you? I assure you that SID will protect the Package, it’s the ultimate weapon after a-“

Arthur: “What about the A.I?”

Dr. Zarth: “What about it?”

Arthur: “I’ve noticed several unusual ticks to it. It’s not behaving like a properly developed A.I, even under developed A.I’s don’t act so irrationally. It’s practically gone berserk a few times”

Dr. Zarth: “That’s because the A.I couldn't be completed in time for SID’s deployment, well, not completed in the normal way I should say. From what I understand one of the people who worked on the Package used a mapping of his own brain to finish the A.I.”

Arthur: “What? Do you realize how dangerous that is?!”

(cont)
>>
>>27668853
Dr. Zarth: “Tell that to High Command. Besides, if you have anyone to blame, blame Inertia. That A.I has his fiery temper. If you don’t like it’s personality maybe you could use your own brain map as a replacement?” You can hear the man chuckling to himself before continuing “Just remember, SID’s body can adapt to any physical attack thrown at it, damage to its body is not an issue, however if its A.I core is damaged then SID will be brain dead. Keep Sid alive Mr. Arthur. Or don’t. Even with your father in prison my family’s making more money than ever.

Arthur: “I may be a soldier Zarth but if I find you’re stirring up things like my Father, I won’t hesitate to put you down.”

Dr. Zarth: “Oh don’t get so dramatic. My family supplies a necessary service. If I didn’t do it, someone else would, so just be thankful my family is on your side.” You hear the sound of a door opening and a familiar voice speaks.
Travis: “Geez this place gives me the creeps. Are those glass tubes filled with Nanomachines? Is that dangerous?”

Dr. Zarth: “It’s fine. I am the only one capable of modifying the Nano-machines so you don’t have to worry about anyone programming rogue disassemblers. Besides, even if they did break out this whole lab is designed to quarantine itself in the event that happens. The Nano-machines will be long dead by the time this place could be opened again”

Travis: “I’m sure you’d be so heartbroken if something were to happen to this lab huh? Your family might be high and mighty assholes right now, but wait till the war is over, I’m sure the public will just love to hear what you helped Uther do.”

Dr.Zarth: “Oh we’ll see. My family has survived for generations, I’m sure we’ll work something out. "

Arthur: “We should get going Travis.”

Travis: “Keep your shorts on, Minsry’s not going anywhere.”

Zarth is right, a hundred and forty ones years of ambient cosmic ray bombardment should fry any circuitry on that scale. Unless it was active and set to replicate more of itself, of course, then it could conceivably self-repair to compensate for the damage. Still, probably nothing to learn from it. Oh well, maybe the macrotech will have something to reverse engineer. That bio-armor seems promising. Living metal Gen 3 Gundam, anyone?

Anyway, let's see if there are any more files with Arthur in them. Actually, it doesn't even need to involve Arthur. This is the secret audio recordings of a mad scientist's meetings, there could be some quite juicy information in here.

Well, I guess we found out what Zeheart was looking for. Or found already, considering how he could walk mere days after getting both knees shot.

Aw. Well, it was still fun. See you next time, Crosswire.

Not necessarily. It's not a lie if you believe it, after all. Uther seems like a pretty paranoid person, he could have interpreted the data he had incorrectly. I mean, someone did lock him away in cryo-stasis and erase any mention of him from history, that has to mean something. Knowing Arthur's hate for him, he could have just assumed it was him instead of whoever it really was.

As for the nanotech, Rena's story about finding it while exploring could still be true. She said she found it in some chamber in the colony walls. Maybe it was another of Zarth's secret labs, and she managed to find it because it was near the family holdings. She probably has no idea that it was her ancestor's work that she discovered.

...shit. That would explain a lot, wouldn't it? Ezelcant knew the EXA-DB passed through Zarth and that there were secret research facilities here, he must have sent Zeheart to find this lab and figure out a weakness in SID's design. I don't think Zeheart managed to bring anything back, though, at least nothing particularly significant. Otherwise, why send the Anansi drones? The walking with kneecaped legs is probably just whatever enhancements Ezelcant made to him. Still, we finally know why Zarth is so important to the Vagans.

Well, apparently Uther worked for the Zarth family, and Zarth mentions that he's kept in prison. I don't think that involved cryostatis, especially for someone with Uther's connections. Maybe he was put to sleep later on, when he arrived on Solun?

Also, we now know why Rena's parents were so persistent in trying to get her to marry Hunter.

I don't know, Zeheart managed to surprise us before. Maybe he didn't find the nanotech required for him to stop SID, but even so, getting the blueprints for the cybernetic implants and body armor would be a big deal. Imagine Zeheart's X-Rounder skills with Rysis' endurance and reflexes. Scary shit.

And let's not forget that he could've gotten his hands on the AGE builder and who knows what else while he was around here.
