Don't know what Valkyria Chronicles is? Check it out here! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valkyria_Chronicles or http://valkyria.wikia.com/wiki/Valkyria_Wiki

You are LUCAS WILLIAMS, a member of the mercenary company Demons of Randgriz and a graduate from its elite TIER ONE Program. You are now part of the elite, but inexperienced WRAITH TEAM, consisting of you and your fellow classmates from training.

After a grueling year of training and quick battle to get rid of some troublesome pirates harassing Gallia's northern coast, you and Wraith Team have found yourselves transferred to the exotic land of San Salvacion, an entire ocean away from Gallia. You've been brought in to help the beleaguered country suppress the rebels that oppose its rule, as well as counter any possible Erusean aggression from the South.

Unfortunately, the action started much sooner than you thought it would when your base was ambushed literally almost the moment you set foot in it. While the attackers were repulsed, the attack has left you and your squad a bit shaken that presumably poorly armed and organized rebels could strike at the heart of San Salvacion's military power in the south so easily.

Unfortunately, it seems the situation is getting more and more complicated as more players in this conflict begin to reveal themselves, such as Emmerian special forces, Imperial weapon smugglers, unscrupulous rival mercs, and more.

And now you've uncovered the Lost City of the Valkrur. Now your biggest question is... what do you do with it?

"Holy shit." You breathe as you see the massive vista before you. They weren't kidding when they said this was a lost CITY. You were all essentially standing in a gigantic ship of unbelievable proportions. And you thought the Kestrel was big!

"MORGAN!" You hear Simo's voice and you whip around. Apparently, with the city on the surface again, the elevator was safe to use. It seems as if the rest of the team and Whitmore's expedition had come straight down.

"Is she okay?" Simo asks, a bit panicked as he kneels over her.

"Y-yeah. She just needs a while to recover." Falynn stutters.

"Thank goodness..." Simo breathes a sigh of relief.

"Morgan's gonna be okay." You say, putting a reassuring hand on Simo's shoulder. "But we got bigger problems. There's still probably a ton of Imps crawling in the city, and there's at least one U-boat prowling around down there, too."

"Of course." Simo sighs and stands up. "Options?"

"W-we can wait to see if Morgan regains consciousness." Falynn stammers. "We're in the control room right now, so we should have control of all of the city's functions."

"But Morgan might not wake up." Edwin points out.

"Or we can just sweep through the city and wipe em all out!" MK grins.

"Except it's just our small squad and Whitmore's expedition. How can a few dozen of us clear an entire city? Plus, we don't know what killed all those Valkrur, and for all we know it still might be down there, somewhere." Edwin scoffs.

"Jeez, Edwin, can you be any more of a negative nancy?" You sigh.

"I'm just pointing out the realities of our courses of action." Edwin sniffs.

"I think we should just hold position. Sooner or later the Imps will have to come up here anyways." You suggest.

"Good idea." Simo nods. "The Kestrel is already incoming, but I'd really love to get the Emmerian Navy in on this as well. We could always use more guns."

"Well, at least the Imps and Eruseans won't be able to get their ships in either because of that giant robot lobster." You say.

"Lucas," Simo shakes his head, "if the Imps could get a U-boat past that thing, what makes you think they can't figure out a way to get a fleet across?"

"...good point."

"Guys! I think I found something!" Milo waves all of you over. In his hands he's clutching another book he had picked up from one of the many dessicated corpses in the room.

"What is it?" Simo asks.

"It seems like a personal journal, written shortly before the city fell." Milo says as he pores over the runes. "Apparently the Valkrur here found some sort of construct... or it was smuggled into the city? The writing isn't too clear on that, but whatever it was, it started...'changing' people. It started spreading through the whole city so the Valkrur had no choice but to lock down everything and sink the city to prevent whatever it was from reaching the mainland..."

"Milo." Simo blinks. "Are you telling me that we may have just unwittingly released a super deadly chemical or biological weapon just by stepping in this city?"

"W-well, after so much time, I'm sure any sort of chemical or biological agent should have long degraded by now-"

"Answer the question, Milo." Simo snaps.

"...yes. It's a possibility, but it seems that not even the Valkrur knew the true nature of what was affecting them."

"Damn!" Simo turns to Falynn. "Falynn, we need Morgan up NOW."

"S-she still needs more time!" Falynn cries.

"Actually," Sweet steps forward. "I might have something that might help, but it's risky."

Morgan suddenly gasps and she shoots up to her feet, her eyes as wide as dinner plates. She then starts running around the room like a child on a sugar high.

"HOLYSHITWHATTHEFUCKDIDYOUINJECTMEWITH!" She cries as she hops around the room as if the floor were made of lava.

"Just a bit of adrenaline. It'll cool down in a few seconds." Sweet laughs. "Guess it worked this time."

"THISTIME!?" Morgan sputters.

"Morgan. Morgan! Calm down!" You say.

Simo then comes up and grabs Morgan from behind to keep her from running around.

"If you keep doing that you're going to hurt yourself." He says.

"Th-th-th-thankss." Morgan nods. She seems to have calmed down somewhat, but she's still jittery and her eye movements erratic.

"Morgan," You say, standing in front of her to focus her attention on you, "we need you to access the city's systems. Can you do that for us?"

"Y-yeah. I can do that." Morgan nods rapidly and she starts hitting runes on the console at lightning speed.

"Citywide power generation at 2%. Only 10% of automated defenses operational. Hull breaches and leaks in multiple sectors. Three out of five wards structurally compromised. Unknown object detected in central sector. Multiple life signs detected." Morgan says rapidly as her eyes flit across the runes appearing on the console.

"Wait... Morgan, you can read that stuff on your own, now?" You blink.

"I guess I can." Morgan nods rapidly. "Oh, oh, I think I found something useful. 'Recall Leviathan.' Should i press that? Should I? Should I?"

"I assume the Leviathan is that giant robot lobster thing?" You asks.

"Yeppers."

"If we can recall it, then we can get the Emmerian Navy in here." Simo nods. "Do it."

"Done." Morgan says as she slaps another rune. "Uhohuhohuhoh."

"What's going on?" You ask.

"Can't hurt to fire them up now, right?"

"Okay!" Morgan hits another rune.

You then all move to the southern observation window, where you can see what look like three Erusean destroyers and a small flotilla of transports steaming their way towards the city. Suddenly, there's a flash of light and a blue beam of energy lances out and shears one of the transports in half. There are a few more flashes of lights and more blue beams fire, sinking transport boats and cutting up one of the destroyers. The remaining destroyers immediately begin firing back with their cannons.

"That's not going to hold them long." Morgan says. "There's only four cannons guarding the south side... well, three now."

"We don't have to hold them off forever, just until reinforcements get here."

"Simo, I've been thinking..." Falynn steps forward. "Do... do you really think we should keep this city?"

"What are you talking about?" Simo blinks.

"I mean, you've studied history already, right? Every time somebody's messed with Valkrur technology... bad stuff happens. Should we really be keeping this city?"

"Simo, think about like this." You say, moving to face him directly, so that you don't have to say what you'll be saying next too loudly for the others to hear. "If we do take this thing back to Gallia, what do you think would happen? The military would force Morgan to stay here to operate all the systems. She'd essentially be a prisoner, AGAIN. Do you really want that?"

"We can always find someone else-"

"You think Morgan would want that? You think she'd let somebody else suffer in her place?"

"...No." Simo sighs.

"Then you know what we have to do." You say.

"Morgan." Simo slowly turns around. "Is there a way to destroy the city from here?"

Everybody blinks at these words, though some nod in approval while others shake their heads in disagreement.

"Y-yes." Morgan nods. "We can permanently sink the city by separating each of the individual wards, since they rely on the central core section for flotation. Then we overload the ragnite reactor and self destruct the central core section."

"So, basically, that's a yes."

"Yeah." Morgan sighs.

"Then do it." Simo says. "We're gonna catch a lot of flak for this, but it's probably for the best."

Morgan nods solemnly and hits a few keys. The console then starts to display new characters.

WARNING: SELF DESTRUCT SEQUENCE INITITATED. PURGING ALL OUTER SECTORS.

Suddenly, one of the outer sections of the city shudders as explosive bolts are set off, and the whole section rapidly begins to sink under the waves.

"The rest will go off in sequence." Morgan says. It'll take a few minutes for that to happen, and another few minutes for the reactor to go critical."

You don't need to share, others will find their way to it eventually.
The rush to weaponize nuclear power pretty much destroyed warfare in our reality and the rivalry between the USSR and the USA led to massive technological advances across the board.

"For what it's worth, I'm sorry that we have to destroy the city you've been searching for so long." You say apologetically.

"Oh, don't worry!" Whitmore laughs. "At the very least we know that it the city does in fact exist, and as they say, the journey is always more fulfilling than the destination!"

With that, Whitmore and his crew wave their goodbyes as the elevator closes. You then turn to confront the situation at hand.

"Edwin, what should we do?" You ask.

"We're fighting a defensive battle, so we use defensive tactics." Edwin sighs. Let them climb up a bit more until they're in effective range and start picking them off. Meanwhile, me and Sparky will attempt to hit the U-boat with our lances. Hopefully we'll damage or spook it."

"But I'm pretty sure the U-boat is way outside your lances' effective range."

"Hence why I said 'hopefully.'"

You frown.

"Hey ,it's not a foolproof plan, but it's the most sensible." Edwin shrugs. "Then once time winds down we fall back, let the Imps take the control room as it explodes. Simple."

The first volley is punishing, sending a few Imp soldiers falling to their doom to the water below. However, as the regular soldiers still try to climb, the MGs on the U-boat spit fire up at you. A couple of the Artificial Valkyria start firing their lances in rapid fire mode as well, raking your armor with both bullets and and blue fire.

Unfortunately, they get two lucky hits on your helmet: one bullet and one energy bolt. You stumble backwards as you try to clear your faceplate, but now it's smudged with soot and partially melted from the heat, hurting your ability to see out of it.

Your gunfire is a bit sporadic on the second volley, but goddamn were Simo and Morgan on a roll. Three shots, three headshots on V4s, causing them to tumble off their lines. At this point there were no more regular troops climbing up, and it was almost exclusively V3s.

Unfortunately, Edwin and Sparky miss their shots again, their lances splashing uselessly into the water.

"Guys!" Barfbag's voice squawks. "I'm getting low on fuel! You guys either get out now or I have to turn around!"

"Morgan, how much more time?" You ask.

You give the V4 another healthy kick in the face and this time it goes down for good, losing its grip on your leg and toppling off the edge. Then you feel somebody pulling you back up to your feet.

"Come on!" Falynn yells, handing you your MG. "We've only got thirty seconds!"

The elevator ride up to the roof seems to take forever, but you manage to reach the top without incident despite the entire structure being jolted by the explosion as the control room detonates. You see the rest of the squad have already deployed the Skyhook and have hooked themselves on to it.

"Come on! Hurry!" Simo yells.

You first help Falynn hook herself up to the line before quickly hooking yourself.

"Everybody hold on tight, because this is the part where it REALLY sucks!" Runaround warns.

Sure enough, you see Barfbag's Gullwing swoop in on an approach, smartly using the tower to shield it from the U-boat's MG fire. The Gullwing comes down low and hooks the Skyhook's balloon, yanking you and the entire squad in the air. Gullwing then guns the engines, putting distance between himself and the tower as you are slowly winched in one by one. You then see a bright flash of light as the tower explodes and crumbles to pieces, and you can't say that you felt bad when you saw the debris topple on top the U-boat, crushing it.

Well, it was over, you guess.

"Ah, I see you've made it out alive!" Whitmore says happily.

"Yeah." You laugh nervously.

"Alright guys, we are getting the hell out of here and- SHIT!" Runaround yells as you see two yellow flashes streak past the plane.

"This is Yellow Squadron of the Erusean Air Force. Unidentified plane, you are ordered to land immediately."

"Damn it!" Simo scowls. "Barfbag, how far out is the Kestrel?"

"What are you talking abou-"

"BARFBAG!"

"Okay, okay!" Barfbag starts rubbing his glove against the mic. "I'M SORRY. I'M HAVING RADIO PROBLEMS. I CAN'T HEAR YOU VERY WELL."

One of the Erusean planes then accelerates so that it's right next to the Gullwing's cockpit. You then see the Erusean pilot pointing down in an effort to tell Barfbag to land. Barfbag just shrugs as if he can't understand. Finally, the the Erusean fighter lets off a burst of cannon fire across the Gullwing's nose.

"Well shit, man, I can't argue against that." Barfbag concedes.

However, suddenly, both planes break off and head in the opposite direction and you briefly wonder why until you see Gallian and Emmerian fighters approaching.

"Um, I'm not so sure." Morgan points out the back of the Gullwing.

You all turn and see that there's an Erusean fleet coming up right behind you. A BIG one.

And in front of you you can see an almost equally large Emmerian fleet approaching from the North.

"Did we just get caught in the middle of one of the largest naval battles of all time?" MK blinks.

"Probably." Edwin sighs.

And then, an even greater sight, you can see the Kestrel in the sky above. Barfbag quickly makes preparations to land.

"So what's gonna happen?" You ask Simo.

"Well, if anything, we're just probably gonna sit back and watch." Simo shrugs. "This is the Navy and Air Force's show now."

Suddenly, one of the Erusean ships explodes in a massive fireball.

"See? What did I tell you?"

"Um, I don't think that was from the Emmerians..."Falynn bites her lip."

Suddenly, an Emmerian cruiser is sliced in half.

"Oh no..."

Suddenly, you see a massive, blue shape surface in between both fleets. It was the Leviathan.

"Morgan! I thought we recalled that thing!" You yell.

"I did!" Morgan yells back. "That can only mean.. oh no..."

She grabs her binoculars and looks at the Leviathan's surface. "Damnit!"

"What?"

"There's an Artificial Valkyria on top controlling it!"

At this point, both the Emmerian and Erusean fleets begin firing at the Leviathan, but the thing is very fast and agile for its huge size, an it easily avoids the shells of the biggest guns while the smaller shells bounce harmlessly off its armored frame.

"We have to stop it!" Morgan says. "Or its going to annihilate everything!"

Morgan tries to take the shot, but like she had said before, there were just too many external factors, and her bullets ping uselessly off the armored hull of the Leviathan.

However, what she was successful in was drawing the attention of the Artificial Valkyria controlling it. It pauses momentarily to glare at you before pointing at the Gullwing.

And then the Leviathan raises a massive scorpion tail from its rear, though instead of stinger, it's tipped with a massive energy lance.

"Barfbag, EVADE EVADE!" You yell.

But it's too late. The lance spits sapphire flames, which incinerates the plane's right wing, sending the craft into a spin.

"If you guys are gonna bail out, now is probably a good time!" Barfbag yells.

"Can you control the descent? Can you land it somewhat safely?" Simo asks.

Against all odds, Barfbag manages to turn the plane and lock in a heading straight at the Artificial Valkyria. However, right when it looks like you're about to ram into him, the plane stops.

Literally just stops.

You and Barfbag look out the windshield and see that the Artificial Valkyria, a type that you've never seen before, has literally stopped the plane.

WITH HIS HAND.

The Artificial Valkyria tilts its head as if it was amused be the effort, and then effortlessly uses its one arm to pick up the plane by the nose, holding it vertical in the air before tossing it to the rear of the Leviathan like a broken toy.

By the time the wrecked Gullwing finally comes to a stop, you groan and manage to ask, "Everybody okay?"

The squad is more or less fine, with some bruises and scratches. Unfortunately, it looks as if Edwin had taken a nasty blow the head. However, he was still alive, if only barely.

"Will he make it?" You ask Falynn.

"Yeah." She nods.

"Is he going to wake up anytime soon?"

She shakes her head.

"COME NOW, GALLIANS." You hear a voice boom. "IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO?"

Morgan shivers. "That's Dragovich. I recognize that voice anywhere."

"So, what's the plan?" You ask.

"Hopefully I can seize control of the Leviathan from him." She says. "If we can't, well, we'll have to fight him."

Wonderful.

Suddenly, you hear a huge SPLASH and you all look over to the side to see Trombe floating in the water, trailing a parachute.

"I thought you could use this." Nemo says over the radio.

"Nice! Sometimes I love you, girl!" Runaround grins and dives into the water.

Morgan then takes a deep breath and jumps out of the wreckage of the Gullwing, making direct contact with the Leviathan.

Suddenly, the entire construct comes to a screeching halt, sending everybody off their feet and causing Dragovich to lose his balance temporarily.

"Do you have control?" You asks.

"No." Morgan shakes her head. "We both seem to have equal system access. The best I can do is keep it in standby.

Finally, with the Leviathan stopped, even for a moment, the Emmerian and Erusian battleships begin landing hits on the Leviathan, gouging huge chunks and knocking dents into its armor. You see Gallian, Emmerian, and even Erusian aircraft flying in formation to make attack runs against it.

"Well, we can't have interruptions now, can we?" Dragovich rasps and he snaps his fingers. Blue flames then shoot out from around the Leviathan, forming a semi-visible dome of energy around which seems to repel everything the two fleets are throwing at it.

"Come at me then, if you wish!" Dragovich cackles. "One or a hundred, I do not care!"

The Trombe then rolls up to your position. You cart both the unconscious Edwin and the wounded Barfbag into its passenger compartment.

"So, what's the plan?" Charlotte asks.

Both you and Dragovich fire at the same time. You bullets riddle across his armor, and you see pieces of getting breached and penetrated. Rifle fire from your squad also rains down on him, though its only moderately effective.

Then Dragovich opens up with his own salvo, ports in his wrists opening up to reveal miniature energy guns, spattering your armor with blue fire. The cloth parts of your armor immediately begin to burn and smolder. Your ablative plates hold since this is what it was designed to protect against, but you can feel your armor heating up. Then one luck shot strikes you square i the helmet. Letting out a help, you tear your helmet off and toss the flaming piece of headgear away. The cool ocean breeze is a nice contrast to the blast furnace the inside of your suit is turning into.

Dragovich then sees a lance shot headed towards him and he easily somersaults out of the way.

Dragovich is forced back a bit as cannon shells slam into his chest. Armor cracks and groans under he strain, but his chestplate holds. The disposable lances, though, streak in. Dragovich dodges one, literally slaps the second out of the air, but suffers direct hits on the last two. And he's engulfed in the blast.

Everybody pauses to see if Dragovich was down for good, until you see a blue flash as Dragovich comes sprinting out of the smoke. You can see parts of his are now ruined, with the outer layers have been completely shorn away down to the undersuit, but Artificial Valkrur were built tough, and Dragovich was no exception.

He then closes the distance between himself and the Trombe, literally ignoring everything else around him.

Even though the Trombe was amphibious, it would take Runaround time to get it back into position.

Dragovich then turns to face your squad and sprints toward Lucina, who prepares to for close combat. You and everybody else raise your weapons, but Dragovich is smart, putting Lucina in between himself and the rest of the squad, making supporting fire difficult. You bullets score big hits on Dragovich, slowing him down and giving Lucina time to back off, clearing a line of fire for the rest of the squad. You can imagine Dragovich scowling as he leaps away to take cover behind the Gullwing wreck, and then makes eye contact with you again. You REALLY succeeded in drawing his attention.

You could either brace for the attack, which would give you a better shot at him as he approaches, or you could fall back.

"Yeah, you should keep an eye on your back." You grin.

"What?"

And that's when Lucina comes in, leaping on Dragovich back and jamming her knife into the side of his throat. Dragovich roars in pain, grabs Lucina, and tosses her off his back.

"ENOUGH!" He roars as he raises his hand. In an instant, the shield protecting the Leviathan collapses into a tiny ball that rests in his palm. He then closes his hand into a fist, crushing the ball of energy and sending a massive shockwave rippling out, sending you and the rest of the Wraiths flying.

"I AM A VALKYRIA! I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED BY PESTS LIKE YOU!" Dragovich roars.

Suddenly, Dragovich is peppered by explosions, and you see a Bison roaring in on a strafing run, nose mounted cannons and machine guns bracketing Dragovich in fire as it flies past.

"Dragovich, do you remember me?" A voice cackles madly over the radio.

"Reznov?!" Both you and Dragovich yell in surprise.

"Today, I shall avenge my men, and the poor souls of Vorkuta!" Reznov yells as his Bison circles around for another attack run.

"Insufferable old man!" Dragovich mutters as runs over to one of the Leviathan's smaller lance batteries, yanks it free from its mount, and begins to aim it at Reznov's plane.

Dragovich fires, but the shot is wild and misses, though it shears off the bridge tower of an unlucky Erusean ship. Reznov then lines up a shot in his attack Bison and lets loose with everything he has, pulling away just short of ramming the plane straight into Dragovich, though you were pretty sure he was tempted in doing so.

However, even then, Dragovich is still not dead, though he looks rather close to it. His armor and body ruined, the former Imperial crawls out of the blast crater, glaring at all of you in defiance.

"Impossible..." He croaks.

"Very possible." Morgan says, stepping forward. "I guess your system access was tied to the armor, wasn't it?"

Dragovich says nothing.

"Because now I can do THIS." Morgan snaps her fingers, and the Leviathan's lance tail hovers directly over Dragovich. "Say hi to Steiner and Kravchenko in Hell for me."

The lance fires in a flash of blinding blue light, incinerating Dragovich and coring a massive hole through the Leviathan. The entire construct shudders as secondary explosions begin to ripple across it.

"Um, I think now is a good time to get of this thing." Morgan says.

With that, everybody dashes for the Trombe as the Leviathan slowly begins to sink under the waves, it's red optics flickering and dying as it slides beneath the waves.

"Good riddance." Runaround spits as he guns Trombe's engine.

"Wow, good job everyone!" You breath a sigh of relief. Everybody begins cheering.

"It's not over yet." Simo frowns.

Oh yeah, there was still the fact that the Emmerian and Erusean navies were still facing each other down.

"Attention, Emmerian and Erusian navies." You say. "My name is, well, my name's not important. What's important here is that there's no reason for anybody to be fighting here. The City and the Leviathan are destroyed, Dragovich pretty much used everybody for his own ends, and both of you took serious losses fighting a common enemy today. Please, enough blood has been shed today. Just... go home. It's not worth fighting over scraps lying on the ocean floor."

The minutes pass by excruciatingly slow, but finally, the Erusean fleet turns around, and the Emmerian fleet eventually follows suit. There would be no more battles today.

"Did... did we just win a war?" You blink.

"That's for the politicians to decide." Simo shrugs. "But seriously, good job Lucas."

"Thanks."

"Um, hey, Simo, remember that thing I wanted to talk to you about?" Morgan says, shifting around nervously.

"Yeah?"

"Well..."

Morgan then stands on her toes and kisses Simo full on the mouth.

Everybody simply goes BALLISTIC, cheering on the new couple, while in the back, Falynn takes the chance to sneak in a kiss of her own on you.

Nobody seems to hear the queries of the Emmerian rescue boat that's pulled up alongside the Trombe.

"What do you think is going on in there?" One of the rescue crew asks."

"Hell if I now." The captain sighs. "Fuckin' Gallians. Bunch of weirdos, if you ask me."

THE END

EPILOGUE

The war between San Salvacion and Erusea continued for another few months, but it was clear that Erusea had lost all steam. With Dragovich's death, Erusea had lost its main source of Imperial backing, and with the revelation that Dragovich had just been using Erusea as a tool to achieve his own ends, many Erusean leaders were looking or a quick way to save face.

As a result, representatives from San Salvacion and Erusea came together and agreed to a truce. The border was reset at its original pre-war location, and San Salvacion waived reparations in return for striking the Erusean sponsored amendment in their constitution prohibiting Emmerian garrisons in San Salvacion. However, tensions were still high, and Artemis continues hold continuous, though much diminished presence there. The Demons had largely pulled out, opting to return to Gallia.
>>
>>28100896
Mk got a little but Char got none due to fear of triggering her flag since we accidently got Faylnn.

Btw wasn't there going to be another pastebin story?
>>
>>28100905

Will we get more Edwin/Sparky screentime? Because honestly that felt like it was cut short mid-development.
>>
>>28100911
Uh...idk about Falynn/Charlotte slash. At least, me in particular.
>>
>>28100905
JASON HUDSON, ALEX MASON, FRANK WOODS, and CHEQUITA

The exploits of Hudson and his team are still currently highly classified. Not much is known about their current activities, though it can be safely assumed that they're still operating behind enemy lines in Erusea somewhere. After all, just because the official war ended doesn't mean the shadow war did.

JACK RYAN

While catching some flak over losing the Lost City and ultimately making all of the money invested into the Cartographer Project a wasted investment, Jack Ryan ultimately managed to escape any serious punishment by informing his superiors that he had records of certain "missions" performed by Artemis personnel under Emmerian Intelligence's payroll. In fact, Jack did so well that he was promoted from Bureau Chief to Deputy Director at EI's main headquarters. He's become a large proponent in increasing intelligence ties with Gallia, often trading information with GSS over certain sensitive matters.

JOSE ARGUELLO

With his beloved village of Dorado basically wiped off the map, Arguello was in a bit of bind of where to go from there. Fortunately for him, when the Demons pulled out of San Salvacion, they left the Bastion in his care, and also left behind much of their construction equipment and materials. Arguello now directs the management of the Bastion as well as the reconstruction of Dorado. He's also picked up a nameless war orphan who he seems to be raising as a protege.

With his revenge complete, Viktor seemed to be at a loss at what to do. With that, Reznov bid farewell to both the Demons and Emmerian Intelligence, disappearing behind the Empire's iron curtain.

After a very, very, VERY long debriefing session by Emmerian Intelligence, Whitmore and his expedition team were finally released, where they immediately went to work planning out their next expedition. The current rumors are that Whitmore is planning to lead his team to the North Pole for reasons unknown. However, had has opened up a lucrative security contract with the Demons to protect both his team and his business interests.

YELLOW SQUADRON

In the closing months of the war, the relatively new Yellow Squadron quickly made a name for itself as a squadron to be feared. Led by the enigmatic Yellow 13, they managed to check the advance of almost every Emmerian air push into Erusean territory. It's been noted in many a newspaper of how Yellow 13 and Yellow 12 would constantly duel with the famous Ribbon Fighter, though so far all of their encounters have ended in stalemates. With peace reigning, who knows if these pilots will ever face each other in the skies again.

Despite his reckless and borderline suicidal antics, White Fang not only managed to survive the war, but he came out as one of the highest scoring aces, second only to Ribbons and few others. There's also a lot of rumors that he and RIbbons are in a relationship. While he boasts that they are an item, Ribbons has so far stayed quiet about the matter.
>>
>>28101091
TOMBSTONE

After having been assisted by Ribbons in a skirmish with Yellow Squadron, the infamous Tombstone has not been seen in the air for quite some time. Rumors fly that he was critically or even mortally wounded in that battle, or that he's lying low to evade war crimes charges. Whatever the reason, Tombstone has essentially become nothing more than a ghost.

LARA WILLIAMS

Lara enjoyed success as one of the deadliest aces in the war, coming out with a total kill count of 75 various aircraft, with over thirty having been aces as well. However, having inherited her father's modesty, she never made a big deal about it and never made her identity public, which only increased the mystique of her Ribbons personality. Even though she isn't even a native of Emmeria and San Salvacion, her exploits have made her something of a living legend among the general populace of both countries. She returned to Gallia with the rest of the Demons, and it's rumored that she's in a relationship with one of the aces she had encountered in battle. However, despite numerous queries, she remains tight lipped about the matter. Not even her own brother Lucas knows the whole story.

BRAGG

Bragg was a simple soul at heart, and when he returned to Gallia, he did what he always did best: lazing around and drinking copious amounts of alcohol. Simo has been trying to get him to pursue healthier hobbies, with limited success. He's currently petitioning to have a fraternity system set up at Sturmfuhrer Academy, though pretty much EVERYBODY knows how bad of an idea that would be.

Upon returning to Gallia, Sparky decided to go pay a long overdue visit to her parents, who unfortunately weren't amused when they realized their plan to send Sparky to a military school to learn some manners backfired, considering Sparky wanted to stay with the Demons than continue the business. Another sticking point was their discussions about what to do about Edwin, considering his Imperial heritage. Morgan returned to Gallia a changed girl. With burdens of her past lifted, she finally became much more outgoing and social rather than being the meek little wallflower she was before. However, not everybody got the memo and there are STILL quite a number of classmates who still think Morgan is a very feminine looking man, much to her dismay. She's planning on spending her leave period going on a traditional Petrovich hunting trip into the Empire, with Simo in tow.

CHARLOTTE STURMFUHRER

Charlotte returned home with quite a bit of combat experience and the scars to prove it. Of course, she raised all sorts of hell back home, reverting to her old prankster ways. In a fit of mad paranoia, as well as a spike of international calls, Jager had Elizabeth covertly tap the line and was furious to find out Charlotte was in a long distance relationship with an Emmerian pararescue jumper she had met in Vitoze. Suffice to say it took the combined efforts of Sam, Charlotte, and Falynn to keep him from outright declaring war on Emmeria.

Somewhat like Morgan, Falynn returned to Gallia a changed girl. She was no longer concerned with having to live up to imaginary expectations and concentrated on just being a good engineer. Well, that and the stories of her bashing he brains out of Artificial Valkyria singlehandedly certainly did help. She's still dating Lucas, much to Heloise's delight and Jager's ire. Out of all of the Wraiths, Lucina seemed to be the least affected out of all of them, which wasn't surprising considering her very basic outlook on life. Nevertheless, Lucas was still determined to get to be more social. This was easier said than done, though, but small headway was being made. Lucina innocently asking Ramirez how to make herself look pretty for boys was reason enough for him and Lucas to celebrate.

LUCAS WILLIAMS

Lucas returned to Gallia no longer a boy, but as a MAN. Well, that and that giant hulking suit of intimidating armor certainly helped. Lucas proved that Gunners no longer had to be a stationary class, and could be badass in their own right, which led to a rather noticeable surge in Gunner enlistments. Nemo has been run ragged trying to keep up demand for new Juggernaut suits, something Lucas feels a bit apologetic for.
