>>28459044Let's go with Peter now. We still need to look around a bit more. Maybe visit our house, Felicia's, or Gwens, if they're still there, that is.
>>28459044Weren't there only three choices last time?>????? saved my life, I have to give my support.
>>28459044>????? ?????Sure, that looks good...Last time on PPQ...
Rolled 8>>28459044If nobody else has anything, maybe tell us about Godzilla? Also what universe number is PPQ?
>>28459044Is Peter going to be an NPC for a while if we pick someone else, or is he going to be on hold?
>>28459044>?????i have no idea why i am voting for this.
>>28459132Godzilla was suggested to have been a threat in the past, but now dealt with.We should worry more about Fin Fang Foom than Godzilla.Cosgrove, don't we get a Spectacular Point for completing an arc? If so we should use it to get rid of that Parker Luck.
Rolled 20>>28459171Are you suggesting you don't like Godzilla story time. Also with the evil laugh Cosgrove did, Godzilla might come back.
>>28459194Please don't waste 20's...
>>28459044Let's go with Pete for now, we've got shit to do.
>>28459044>????? ?????Is this Agent Venom? I hope it is cause my die is cast.
Rolled 14>>28459211Sorry, can't hear you. Wasting 20s.
>>28459119That image is PERFECT.
>>28459044Oh boy new Parker Quest!Hmm, i'm gonna say stick with Peter. As for the question: What is the current situation between Thor and Loki?
>>28459258I'm just astonished the Bugle had time to write, publish, and deliver the paper as the city was being destroyed.
>>28459279My guess is that Thor is a human and Loki is a dick.
>>28459044>??? ???????????? ?????????THE SOMETHING? I LOVE THAT CHARACTER
>>28459283>Long ago in a New York>I Victor von Doom the master of technology>Took an vacation on American soil >But a foolish costumed hero>Possessing the power of spider>Stepped forth for my support>Before the Feds broke into embassy>I tore open a portal in time>And send him into the future>Where the cat curse is solved>Now the fool seeks to return to the past>And undo the future that is war
>>28459283JJ takes the news very seriously.
>>28459324Pretty sure the Feds left the embassy because technically all that they knew was that Spider-Man called the embassy shortly after the Storms were busted out. Otherwise they have nothing connecting Spider-Man to any of it.
>>28459329Get me pictures! Pictures of the sky on fire, the seas boiling, and the four horsemen descending on the city to reap the souls of the damned!
>>28459365>the four horsemenFuck thats actually a thing in MAHVEL
>>28459329Jameson won't be intimidated by mobsters or giant lizards. Man, I have a funny to share when I get to my laptop.
>>28459364http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYm1igKY9YsThis was the best I could come up with to make it as close to original.
>>28459132>>28459151>>28459233>>28459279Current questions so far.
>>28459044Peter Parker for now.
>>28459397Can't we just use our question to reveal all the alternate characters? Or at least just one?
>>28459380I think I know what happend, HAMMER failed to stop Apocalypse after dismantling the hero community. Fingers crossed.Do you think we'll meet super old Jameson? Or 38 year old Gwen? Or Felicia who spent 20 years waiting for us with some kind of neural enhancer to keep sapient brain function?
>>28459436>Can't we just use our question to reveal all the alternate characters? Or at least just one?I didn't rule out >>28459233So, take that as you will.
>>28459380And we could be one of them.
>>28459436I'd rather just play as Peter and figure out these other characters ourselves. It seems like a waste of a question.
>>28459474Who are all these "?" characters?
>>28459397In that case, my question has to be "Who are those options?"
>>28459044Lets go with Peter. I don't like alt protagonists in quests.
>>28459474Well then, what are the other options?Oh, and does playing as another character make us immune to the effects of Parker Luck?
>>28459546Me neither. They always just seem to be a nonessential distraction.
>Alright, majority seems to be with Peter, but I'm going to declare a new vote with the advent of this question's answers. Ten minutes, same rules as always- number and link to this vote only. Then I writeCHOOSE YOUR PROTAGONIST:>1-PETER PARKER>2-AGENT VENOM>3-ALICE>4-THE HOBGOBLIN
>>28459044>[X]Peter ParkerAs much as I'd like to see what Agent Venom and Mania are up to, I'd rather meet them in character as Peter.
>>28459690Your post doesn't count because you didn't follow the rules.
>>28459668Don't you mean 5 minutes? Otherwise you get samefags.
>>28459712Well, just don't samefag.
>>28459718The whole point of voting like this is to prevent samefagging.I don't see why he'd use this method and then eliminate the reason why it's used.
We'll have to play as another character in short order after we take care of a few things as Peter due to our end-of-arc Spectacular Point and levelling up won't happen until Peter gets 2 days of downtime.Frankly we won't have that until we can get to a location where we can spend 2 days without danger. But once we do. it's Agent Venom time. And we're talking Anti-Venom, right?
>>28459712yeah. Sorry, a little off my game. I've ha a busy day. Was dragged by my mother to help pick gifts for my nephews only to have any advice I gave be shot down and then complained at when I stopped giving advice.
>>28459668>2 Agent VenomThrowing my vote away, but Flash deserves some protagonist moments. Curious how Alice fits in with all of this.
>>28459757>"If only Peter Parker tutored me... then I wouldn't have had to take this damn job!"
>>28459745>Anti-Venom>Agent Venom First one is white ant-cancer venom.Second one is this guy
>>28459755thats just an average day material.
>>28459782I can't tell if he'll be mad at us or happy to see us. Are we in a future where we never came back, or a future were we did come back? Timey Wimey madness, that's what I get for questing while watching Day of the Dcotor>>28459789Protagonist from Cos's Cyborg one shot. It was fun.
>>28459838>Are we in a future where we never came back, or a future were we did come back? It's a future where we never came back from the time portal, as confirmed by Cosgrove in the last thread.
>>28459870Then Feralicia is probably a feral thing......now I'm sad.
>>28459870>This is correct.>Anywho, peter Won. Writing
>>28459882I Am not saying that I don't want to play as Agent for a while BUT watching Peter rolling in his own madness seems lot more amusing.
>>28459668Oh dude, I wonder if this means that we might be able to get Hobgoblin on our team in the present. Can you imagine, Spidey, Agent Venom and Hobgoblin teaming up to save the day.
>>28459876I wonder what DOOM did with her...?
>>28459914Do you truly wish to know?
>>28459668>4>>28459882>People not picking HobGoblinCome on guys... come on.Oh well at least we'll have a chance to get our bearings as Peter. Hopefully we'll have this choice every once in a while when we're in the future. Keep things funky fresh.
>>28459914Probably built her a neural enhancer to gain partial sapience.
>>28459933What is going on there?
>>28459906...it could also be an easy (meta) way to figure out his identity. Then again, like the comic Hobgoblin, the costume and moniker has changed hands through the years. Could be that it's not the same guy as in our time.
>>28459914Gwen comes looking for us after our disappearance, finds Felicia's house with her bags packed in a rush, Felicia missing, and later Felicia escapes from the Embassy fully feral. Gwen figures Felicia had something to do with our disappearance and eventually deduces that we must have been killed. Gwen takes bloody revenge on Felicia.
Looking back over the story arcs, it seems like just about all of them are failed or broken. What's up with that? I know Peter is supposed to have bad luck but it seems like we're being doomed to fail from that start. If nothing we do is going to end up resolved and only end in failure, then it just takes any will to play out of the quest. I'm not saying you're bad at this or intentionally driving things into the ground Cosgrove, but it just feels like nothing is EVER going to go right for once. Why play a game if you can only ever lose?
>>28459961There was even a "good" Hobgoblin. Until he turned evil.
>>28459949Its one panel of really old "What If" series, totally no cannon
>>28459973We haven't broken or failed any arcs, are you retarded?
>>28459973That might have something to do with where we are right now. We're in the "Bad End Future" where we weren't around to get Good End on our quests.
>>28460003That and the future in Marvel is pretty much always grim as fuck.
>>28459973How did we fail? We captured Felicia, she got away from the cops.We lost the first fight against Hobgoblin and had to let him go from the second to save Eddie and the cops there. We got Johnny and Sue out from under Fury's nose, and mostly fixed our fuck up.
>>28460017Except when it's not.
>>28459973Bad End future. We can still succeed if we make it back to our time.
>>28460017Yeah anyone that thinks this isnt true watch the new avengers movie
>>28459992Check the pastebin. Pretty much the majority of all the arcs have ended in failure.
>>28459973>Without Peter there to resolve things, the Web begins to fray and the work being done is undone. These stories cannot reach their true ending.Look at the description of the pastebin for the story arcs, this isn't the normal list of them, it's the [future] of this world's story arcs, not the [present]'s story arcs, which aren't yet resolved, one way or another.Always remember this future is the Future of the world without Peter Parker there.
>>28460017because they always go to future so that they can prevent oh so horribad future form happening which can only be accomplished by timetraveling into an even worse future.
>>28460035>We got Johnny and Sue out from under Fury's nose, and mostly fixed our fuck up.I still think this was a HUGE Fuck up. I'm at least 55% Sure this future is Reed's fault.
>>28460042And its "The new avengers" not that live action one
>>28460059>implying it's not Hank Pym's fault
>>28460055Ohhhh so all the arcs refer to only what is possible in this timeline specifically. And when we make it back to our time, we can complete them as normal.
>>28460070Pym's only real problem is creating Ultron. Now, that's a big one, but it's nothing compared to the shit Reed does when he goes all SuperVillain.
>>28460105Essentially yes.And we get to see firsthand the consequences of failure since we're more or less living Fallout. Also the Avengers where never formed or just flat out failed to stop whatever. Way to go Stave, Tony, and Thor.
>>28459044Cosgrove, I never gotten around to saying how much I enjoyed the previous thread especially the contrast between Black Cat in the original marvel to this world mainly on her issue with spider-man
Remember guys, we can take back things from the future as long as they don't exist in some form in the past. So new tech and people below 20-ish can come back with us if we want.
You spend some time gathering your composure, trying to look for anything in the remains of DOOM’s embassy. It’s cold, colder than you expected, but thankfully your costume is helping keep you warm. Guess going for more durable materials that keep you warm has an upside. However, there’s almost nothing to retrieve here. No signs of DOOM’s labs or anything you could use to help you. Looking at the ruins analytically, it seems like something had assaulted and destroyed much of the building. But, to be fair, a lot of the nearby area seems to be in ruins as well. They say that New York can be a dump, but this is taking it a bit too far.You need to find Dr. DOOM and retrieve the cure for Felicia from him. >>28460562Great power great responsibility lesson time. We didn't even need Uncle Ben to die in our original timeline.
>>28460605Yes, it has been confirmed.
>>28460605It has been stated so several times this threadYeslrn 2 reed fgt
>>28460605For the last time, yes. Cosgrove said that yes, this is the future that happens if we don't ever return back to our time.He said this three times.
>>28460605No, this is the timeline that happens when we order that Grinder from 75th and don't make it to the bathroom in time.
>>28460615Really, that's pretty convenient. But I think Queens is going to be fine. Or as fine as it was when we left.
What I want in this future is a eye-patch wearing MJ who is the leader of a resistance group call the 4 clovers who opposes hammer. Made up of people who was suppose to be spider-man villains like Doc-Oc and sand-man but join up with the good side since this future is crapsack.
>>28460676There's dystopia, and there's dystopia that makes fun of other dystopias. That would be the latter.Could you refrain from spouting every autistic idea that's in your head, please?
>>28460676I'm pretty sure MJ is Shriek. Going on a murderous rampage alongside Carnage.
>>28460621>>28460630>>28460635I remembered reading people saying it, just wanted to verify again before I asked probably another unnecessary question. Why didn't the other Peter return? If we weren't able to just choose, wouldn't Peter be stuck in a loop of not getting back now?
>>28460710We just can't go to a future where we exist. Every time we step through the door, we travel forward along that timeline without us in it.
>>28460708She could just be a murder aficionado.I really don't see her having the necessary competence to commit murders of Carnage's quality.
>>28460710The other Peter didn't return, because we haven't returned yet. Like, we existed then entered the time machine. Once we did, we skipped over 20 years in a second, but the universe lived those 20 years. So it had 20 Years without us. Once we go back, we'll fill our spot in, and the future will change simply because we'll be there again.
>>28460739It really comes down to the time machine. Each method of time travel works differently.
>>28460710>Why didn't the other Peter return? There isn't any (other) peter than (this) Peter, ant (this) have not come back to past because he is now (future(present)). But once he uses time machine he will me in (now(present)).You don't watch Back to The Future did you?
>>28460710What other Peter? We are that Peter.Just like we can't bring back the future versions of people to our time, a second Peter Parker can't exist if we're time-travelling. There is only one Peter
>>28460769Not recent enough to remember much.>>28460755>>28460770I see, thanks for explaining. As someone who's never read Marvel comics before, how often do characters travel through time or to another dimension?
>>28460770Well, to be perfectly fair.
You need to return home. Uncle Ben, Aunt may, the Watsons… what happened to them? What happened in the last twenty years? There’s no enough buildings to get you to home. And, honestly, you don’t want to risk web slinging on some of them, you Spider-sense pinging it as dangerous. It takes you at least an hour to get home. According to the clock you pilfered, it takes you two and a half hours as you carefully make sure you don’t injure yourself with any rubble.Arriving to your street, you look around dread building. The houses are in ruin and disarray. It’s unlikely that there’s anyone living here anymore. Passing the almost entirely destroyed Watson house, you drop to your knees as you see the state of the home you shared with your aunt and Uncle. In front, there’s three graves, roughly made out of wood, what weeds able to grow overtaking them. The names seem to have been burned into the wood.“BENJAMIN PARKER, MAY PARKER, ANNA WATSON”You feel the tears welling before you mask as you desperately try to blink them away. You spend a good amount of time in front of the graves. How did this happen? WHY did this all happen?WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?!You take your time to try to regain your compose as you look at your home. While it’s standing (barely), the roof has obviously caved in at some point and several of the walls seem to have holes in them. The building’s going to be dangerous to navigate in.Though hard to tell from the ashen skies, you probably only have about four hours until it gets dark. God only knows what’ll happen then.>[ ]Head inside anyway>[ ]Go to Oscorp>[ ]Go to Midtown High>[ ]Go to the Stacy home>[ ]Write in

You spend time cleaning up the graves. Maybe its just a waste of your time, but it would bother you to leave them untended. When you finish, you look down at the graves. There’s no flowers you can lay on them, and it isn’t what they deserve but, you’ll stop this from happening. At the very least, you hope they’re in peace in heaven.Approaching the house, it’s actually safer to head in a hole. The muffled smell of rotting wood hits you as you look around. The second floor is caved in, there’s no getting in there. Many of the valuables have been looted already, it seems.Heading down into the basement, you move carefully. There’s no lights down here, so all you’re depending on is a barely functional flashlight you found upstairs. Turning it on you let out muffled cursed. The place has mbeen ransacked. No, perhaps it’d be better to say someone tore up the place. Looking around, you head over to the secret compartment, but it is empty, as you HAD taken everything important from it before you left for Felicia’s house. However, the door seems like it’s been ripped off in a fury, splinters of it scattered everywhere. You freeze and look at the fridge to find it open. On the ground nearby, there seems to be the remains of a glass vial with a label shattered, but no evidence of anything having spilt from it.And no sign of the rest of your blood samples or their vials.Seems like someone’s been here. Worse, they knew where you kept your stuff. Even worse, your blood isn’t spoiled- it’s gone.>[ ]Head to Stacy home>[ ]Head to Midtown>[ ]Head to Felcia’s House>[ ]Head to Oscorp>[ ]Head to Baxter Building.>[ ] Write inThere’s about two and a half hours left until Dark.

With time running low, you‘re not sure you could make it to Felicia‘s before it got dark. However, you should be able to make it to the Stacy Home. Traveling fast, you look at the destroyed areas with an uneasy feeling in your gut. When you reach the Stacy residences, you look around. There’s no cameras anymore. Those have probably been long taken or destroyed. The house seems like it’s in decent shape, better than yours was, so you decide to head inside. There’s not too much in here, honestly. Going through the rooms, you try to find if there’s anything that could give you an idea of what happened. However, there’s no power, nor is there any food. Heading upstairs, your nose wrinkles as you smell decay and rot. Heading towards the smell, you open the door before you stumble back. In a rotted bed, there’s a body laying there, obviously years old and heavily rotted. Swallowing the bile you look at where the body was laying.Seems like it was in its bed, and there’s multiple broken or cut ribs as you look around you feel a sinking suspicion of who this is. Captain George Stacy.Backing away, you look across the other rooms trying to find Gwen’s room. You find it, heavily ransacked- but it seems like whoever robbed this house- it wasn’t looters. The door was properly closed and none of the windows were broken in. Whoever left this house didn’t have to break in, or did so in such a skillful manner that Captain George Stacy wasn’t aroused from his bed.An uneasy weight settles into your chest along with relief.Gwen’s body isn’t here, so why is George Stacy left like that? Why was this house untouched? It’s like people were too scared to go near it.There’s about an hour and forty five minutes until night.>[ ]Stay here for the night>[ ]Go to Midtown High>[ ]Book it to Felicia’s>[ ]Book it to Oscorp>[ ]Book it to Baxter Building>[ ]Write in

BURN THE EXTRA SP ON THE PL.
You let the door close and hop on top of the stairwell access and try to hide. You wait for them to leave so you can get a look at them or a way to sneak in. When the door opens, you feel your Spidey-sense blare as you dodge to the side as a woman uses the ledge of the rooftop to flip and kick at where you were standing last. However, you’re still on the defensive, dodging and dipping under each on of the attacks in tune with your Spider-sense. The woman doesn’t pause, a strange visor and mouthpiece over her face as she talks out loud. “Doktor, we have encountered one of the Type 3s, they‘ve discovered the location it seems.”As you dodge another blow, she nods minutely. “Acknowledged.”Her firsts and legs start to head up as she begins to increase in speed as you do your best to match and dodge where she’ll hit. If even one of them glances you, it’ll probably be bad. Also, what is she? Johnny Storm’s crazy assassin daughter? As you dodge another blow your spider sense suddenly blares right behind you. Thorwing yourself to the side, you see the wall in front of you suddenly have a large crater in it. Lookingback over, the woman? Who assaulted you has paused, and there’s another woman there with long blondish to silver hair holding what looks like an oversized magnum revolver with a silencer in her hand. This woman’s brow furrows, her voice reminiscent of a parody of all bad movie Nazis. “Impossible!”Before you can retort, you shift your head to the side as a large Alice-in-wonderland-style rabbit appears, its foot cracking the pavement where your head had just been.“Vat are you? No clone could dodge that!”Looking at the blonde woman, it seems like scars are over her face at there the jaw meets the rest of the face. >[ ]WHAT THE FUCK?!>[ ]I come in peace!>[ ]RUN!>[ ]I’m Spider-man, accept no imitations.

He probably took it with him when he evacuated back to Latveria. Besides, what explanation for being the real Spider-Man and not a clone are we going to have, other than that? You get up, brushing yourself off. “I’m Spider-man, accept no imitations.”You look around. “Look, I’m not entirely sure what’s going on, but I came here I peace. It’s just the whole…”You gesture around.“Escape from New York, post-apocalyptic hellhole look has made me more than a bit wary. Besides that, did you say clones?”The woman crosses her arms and nods at Alice, who moves to punch you, fast. However, your spider sense doesn’t flare as you don’t move. Her fist stops millimeters from you as you continue to look at the woman. You then raise your foot, the rabbit appearing at the end of its charge I few feet ahead of you.“Seriously, I’m really not liking the attacking thing that’d being done.”The woman stares at you as if unraveling a puzzle. “Zey’re incomplete! Zat’s why! ZE CLONES, ZEY ARE INCOMPLETE,! >>28465235I wonder what empowered Carnage in this timeline? The red symbiote couldn't have formed the usual way, since we disappeared and Gwen doesn't know about the black suit. I suppose whoever made the Spider-clones could have also experimented with the suit, though. Especially since Miles Warren works at Oscorp, and he's the one responsible for the clone saga. Throw in the fact that they're worried about the Jackal's minions, and I suppose that would make sense. So Carnage as an experimental cross between the symbiote suit research and the Spider-cloning process, tested on a criminal as super-soldier formulas so often are? That might be a good thing, actually. The Spider-clones don't have the Spider-sense, according to the Doktor. So if the Carnage symbiote is based on them, we wouldn't have the "undetectable to Spider-sense" issue that makes symbiotes so awful to fight.

But Carnage volunteering for an experiment involving being infused with the blood of Spider-Man? Oh, that is totally plausible.
