Otherwise, I’m just Peter. Nice to meet you, Stella.”You move to shake her hand, but she stares quizzically at your hand. Finially she seems to get it, excitedly, she grabs your hand and shakes it roughly. Man, she’s got a STRONG grip. “That was ‘shaking hands’ right? The Professor talked about that. How did I do?”You smile, shaking your hand to stretch out the soreness. “Well, for a first attempt, it isn’t bad. You might want to be a little more gentle with your grip, not many people are as tough as I am. But you’ll get better at it. Like my Uncle Ben says ‘Peter, if we all gave up the first time we tried something because we failed, nobody would get anywhere. Just remember that failure is just the first step to success!’”Stella glances at you. “Your ‘Uncle Ben?”Nodding you give her a wistful smile. “Yeah. After my parents died, he and my Aunt May helped raise me. They’ve done a lot for me, I’m grateful to have had them. I miss them.”Stella’s expression turns downcast. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you sad remembering things.”You look at her before pausing. In this situation, if it were him Uncle Ben would’ve… You bring your hand down and ruffle her hair as she gives you a confused look. >1/2
>>28648957“No, it’s fine. I love my Uncle Ben and Aunt May and they would want me to talk about them, especially if it could help someone else. They were happy when they could help others out, especially if they could help someone find their way.”“That reminds me of the professor…”“The Professor?”Stella looks at you and nods. ‘While a lot of his videos were lectures and simulations, I knew him when I was littler. He was a cheerful man with white hair and a beard who took care of me and talked with me. He always made sure to tell me to remember that I was a person too and that while people might not like me sometimes and might treat me as strange or as a weapon, that I should look for the best in life and try to be happy- that I was special- I was given powers to protect people and that one day they’d understand how special I was and appreciate me for it.”She draws quiet. “…he taught me things, but even as he got older and more gaunt in the videos he made sure to repeat it in all of his messages but his last. The last message… it was his goodbye. He wanted me to know that he would always be proud of me, no matter I might do. But he sounded tired and weak, too. He wasn‘t my father, not really… but I like to think that he was…”She glances over at you. “…And then there were new lessons by other people. Lessons on how to use weapons, follow orders and that I would be punished for failing to follow the orders. Killed if I betray my caretaker. When those were done… I woke up and met you.”She swallows nervously and steels herself.“Who was right? Am I a weapon or am I a person, Peter?”>[ ] You’re a person>[ ] You’re a weapon>[ ] …I think that’s a choice you’ll have to make yourself.>[ ] write in

Remember, if we tell her we think of her as a person as well as ask her what she thinks, she's going to default to her "master's" opinion automatically. We should ask first. And then if she's unsure, tell her we think of her as a person.

>>28649052Supporting with my life
>>28649215We're Uncle Ben now.
>>28649215No, it was the password to our father's hard-drive. Though, if both Parker's have said it than it may be something ben has said while we were growing up.
>>28649052This one is great. Uncharacteristically introspective of Peter, but great.Going with this one.
>>28649215It's practically the Parker Family Slogan.
>>28649215Dad told us it posthumously, it's also his password.
>>28649052This is pretty good.
>>28649225Please don't say that.
>>28649231It is almost literally something he's said in his comics before.
>>28649268Good writers borrow, great writers steal outright.
>>28649052This one is great, good use of that line from Avengers vs Xmen
>>28649235Yeah, there is absolutely no chance that we haven't heard the line before, even without the letter from Dad. Ben's told us it a thousand times before. If we bring Stella back to our time and have to justify taking care of her to our family, we will definitely use the line to convince May and Ben that we have a duty to care for her.
>>28649284where is this frim?
>>28649332Don't bring her back, stop trying to fuck up the present.I'm sure this will be a great way to piss off the Norse gods
>>28649367Avengers vs X-Men, can't remember the specific issue. Spider-Man was charged with mentoring Hope Summers. Was doing a pretty good job of it too.
>>28649372B-but mah Loki vs. Loki-loli!
>>28649372You think DOOM would let us take anything back that could cause problems?
>>28649397No goddamnit, and no robots either. We're trying to save the future, not fuck it up
>>28649372>stop trying to fuck up the presentFuck off faggot. She wasn't born yet and the Norse can go fuck themselves.
>>28649372Nah, man. We're bringing her back. She won't cause a paradox and she deserves a better fate than this.
>>28649393>Avengers vs X-MenHmm, my only experience with that is through Muh Pheonix, so is it worth reading?
>>28649417This. Loki-loli is our daughteru/imouto and she should come with us.
>>28649417Pair her with DOOM and they can maybe help salvage this splinter reality.
>>28649435I didn't particularly like it, except for AvX #6 which put Spider-Man against Colossus and Magik.
>>28649446We met her 5 minutes ago, mang. Peter is still processing the fact that she's a hybrid Asgardian, nevermind the fact that she now considers us her master.
>>28649417This. Besides, she's been fucking made to handle this future shit. She'd be the best ally to have to prevent this from happening.>>28649466This splinter reality stops existing once we leave.
>>28649486we won't know that for a fact until we can ask future doom
>>28649372We're not trying to fuck up the present. We're trying to make a better future.Really though, it's not like we're talking about bringing back CARNAGE. For all we've seen, this is a little girl with illusionary powers who is subservient to us. If she doesn't die and manages to stay with us all the way to the time machine, would you really stop her from following you?
>>28649500We were told this shit's going to collapse when we leave with something from this timeline. We came here for the cure for Felicia so we're going to have to collapse it to go back.
>>28649504Yes, because fucking around with the timelines is bad, DOOM already told us that, and DOOM will tell us again
>>28649542only if it is something that already exists in the past.
>>28649544I don'y care either way at this point, but perhaps we should put off arguing about this until we are at Doom's compound and see if we even have a choice.
>>28649544He told us not to bring anything back from the future that exists in the past already. Stella is 12, possibly younger. She won't fuck with the timeline.
>>28649544I'd still like to gift him Venom, though. You know, the older, accustomed to following orders one. I.E. the one watching us right now.>wink wink nudge nudge
>>28649542Stop twisting Cosgrove's words you illiterate idiot. We can take anything we want as long as it doesn't already exist back then. Loki-loli being one of them.
>>28649372>>28649397>>28649417>>28649446If we're going the whole 'it's a decision you have to make yourself ' thing, we should let Stella decide: does she want to come with us and help us unmake this future, or does she want to stay and fight alongside everyone until we do?Assuming she can even willingly leave our side.
>>28649553Lokis genes already exist in the past, that might even be enough to trigger it
>>28649584Thats not how it works you fucking idiot
>>28649579She'd still need a moral chain and I doubt we trust anyone in this unknown timeline. Gwen is Carnage and DOOM isn't exactly a friend. Not to mention we don't know if she can switch Masters
>>28649584If thats true then us going back in time will retroactively kill our parents, their parents, their parents parents etc.
>>28649584The paradox applies to more than just the past. If what you said was true we would die from the fucking clones in the future
WHen we get the chance we really need to upgrade our equipment if we're going to stand a chance against Carnage
>>28649584Wow, I honestly didn't think you could fail this hard at reading comprehension
>>28649584And the dust on our costume and the air in our lungs will exist too.Now how that works and you know it.
>>28649544No, he didn't say "don't bring anything back" he just said "you CAN bring stuff back, but if you bring back a thing that is already a thing in your time period, it'll cause a paradox. Which is bad."
>>28649617Well, I mean...We have the black suit. Peter just doesn't know it yet.
>>28649584If that was the case, then literally anyone from the future couldn't come back because their genes existed in the past too. Also, the materials that made an item probably already existed back then, so none of those either.Oh wait, the matter everything is made out of exists in the past too. We can't bring anything back. That's not how it works.
>>28649617Well ya that goes without saying. I imagine we'll be throwing all of our time and effort into rewriting the future. So much so that we may strain our relationship with Felicia.
>>28649599Then what happens when she's created again and there are two of her?
>>28649584By that logic you couldn't take anything back into the past, because all matter existed somewhere in our time. We couldn't even take ourselves back into the past because, having breathed in the air of the future, there is now a small portion of our molecular makeup that consists of atoms that already exist in the present day. I think it's fairly flexible. If something has changed enough that it's no longer recognizable as its constituent components, it's probably safe to bring back. Yes, Loki's genes exist in our time. Stella does not. She's more than the sum of her parts.
>>28649643She won't be created again if the bad end doesn't happen.
>>28649643She wouldn't be created... There would be no reason to create her.
>>28649643That would imply she hasn't been created yet, hence no paradox.
>>28649643She wouldn't be because the timeline would alter to ensure there wouldn't be two of them. Maybe you should go back and read that whole part with Doom and the time machine again.
>>28649601She needs to develop one, we can't be her conscience forever. Choose to be a person, remember?
>>28649643Asgard would have to invade and some eggheads would have to get their hands on Loki genetic material. Also Jackal was no doubt involved to some extent because clones. Also Hammer because robot stuff.
Alright guys, here's what DOOM actually said:>He pauses and looks back at you. “This portal will create a slice in space time, connecting it to the future. To return, you will have to use this machine in reverse, which shall seal the rifts. But be forewarned- whatever enters with you shall return as well. And time abhors a paradox- no two things can exist at the same time!”And here's one of Cosgroves clarifications.>>Generally, we should avoid bringing back things that already exist. Like if we find DOOM, do not bring him back to meet DOOM, because DOOM and DOOM will be rejected. The cure, however, will be fine, because it does not exist. We'll be fine, because we no longer exist there, either. Anyone younger than twenty something is also fine, because they don't exist.>This basically. And by bringing something that exists only in the future, you invalidate this timeline because your new future timeline has that new future thing there, which alters history JUST enough.>But you can't say bring Future DOOM back because that DOOM causes two DOOMs to exist at the same time which causes time to shit itself because its trying to cope with this person meeting their own future self while ALSO trying to heal a hole in space/time.>This isn't a problem with people born afterwards because reality has enough time to heal and realign itself and technically differentiate or change anything that might come into existence enough to avoid a paradox.>That might be a little confusing, but basically don't send future versions of people who exist before the time and moment you went into the future back with you.
>>28649643Why don't you reread the part with DOOM talking about the question you just asked. How hard is it to check the archive again?
>>28649670Do we even know if this timeline will still exist after we leave it?Also a day or two really isn't a good amount of time. Not for Loki.
>>28649643Cosgrove said that this scenario explicitly can not happen. The fact that you can't use time travel to duplicate things means that the act of taking something back in time means that any futures branching off of your own can no longer include its creation. This is why we're not too worried about this dark future, because the moment we go back in time we'll ensure that it won't happen. Or at least, not in this way.
>>28649690He isn't even saying "don't bring anything back" just "you CAN bring stuff back so don't carry a bomb on you or something"
>>28649698>Or at least, not in this way.Ding! We'll have even more fucked up and hellish landscape to deal with.
>>28649690So basically it's A) okay to bring her back with us and B) preferable since this timeline won't exist once we leave with the cure.
>>28648978>Write in (late?)"Most of the time I'm probably going to say something like 'you are what you choose to see yourself as' or some variant of that, but here's the thing: you have the choice of how to view yourself and that implies at least a measure of free will. That puts you in the people category in my book, that's what makes you so potentially dangerous in somepeople's eyes, but it also gives you the capacity to make the tough calls when they come, when your ready to make them on your own."
>>28649715Or, more relevantly, "You CAN bring stuff back so don't get Carnage on you">KJuniti adversariesUnited Adversaries is exactly what we're worried about, yes.
>>28649690Also note that we're going to have to go back through the same time portal, meaning we have to take a trip back through the wastelands.
>>28649725Or it'll be even worst
>>28649725I suppose so. But still. Say we don't find Gibson. What then? She needs to live somewhere. We could ask DOOM, but knowing him he would most likely only agree if he were allowed to experiment on her for her Asgardian DNA or something.
>>28649698The problem is that still doesn't preclude the continuity of this alternate universe and the suffering of those left behind here...
>>28649715>CARNAGE BOSS FIGHT>doing badly>desperation move: hurl CARNAGE into time portal>Gwen Stacy removed from existence>but not the symbiote>we go back, CARNAGE everywhere>I Am Legend: Spider-Man Edition
>>28649758Unless DOOM moved it to his new place.
>>28649697We don't really know much about the timey-wimey, no. And I guess that's true, though it's still more a matter of respecting her as a person.
>>28649764We can, you know, try and take care of her ourself or actually go with someone who isn't a scientist and just wants to be a good parent?
>>28649725You realize we're probably going to have to sacrifice her or her divinity to save Felicia right?
>>28649772Then we would have walked out in Dooms fortress. Pretty sure the machine was one of the only things left in the embassy in the wastes.
>>28649772Didn't we appear in the wreckage of the old time portal device?
>>28649766Very true. I voted back in the thread where we were first given the time travel option to ask DOOM how timelines worked. I didn't want to create a branch timeline where we abandoned everyone we loved. The apocalypse only gives me more reason to regret that more people didn't vote that way.
>>28649790We're here for a cure that's being/is already made. Why the hell do you think this is going to happen?
>>28649790Cosgrove couldn't be so cruel...also delete that post and stop giving him ideas
>>28649811See: >>28649690>This basically. And by bringing something that exists only in the future, you invalidate this timeline because your new future timeline has that new future thing there, which alters history JUST enough.
>>28649789You want to enroll a girl without a birth certificate in a foster home program? lel good luck.
>>28649813I think Doom's been busy, and who said the cure didn't require a sacrifice to power it.
>>28649790What the fuck are you talking about? That doesn't make any sense. At least we have ties to he same Totemic magic that is behind Felicia's curse.I don't see how Kid Loki has anything to do with that.
>>28649795I think it's like a temporal bungee cord. We get hurled forward and remain in the same spatial location relative to the Earth. But the return trip always pulls us back to the point of origin of the time warp, so we'll be slung back to the embassy on our return no matter where we travel from. Alternatively, the return portal is locked in space relative to the Earth, too, and when we return to our time we're slightly upstate from NYC and have to race home to get DOOM the antidote in time.
>>28649846nice b8Who said we won't die immediately after returning? Fuck off
>>28649853>At least we have ties to the /same/ Totemic magic that is behind Felicia's curse.Really? I was under the impression that we had ties to a different type of Totemic magic entirely and that that wasn't what the sacrifice was reliant on anyway.
Man, everyone's making this timey-wimey shit really more complicated then it needs to be. All we got to do is grab the cure, do pic-related, and BAM! no more bad end splinter reality.
>>28649831But us coming to the future was going to invalidate this timeline anyways since we came here to find the cure
>>28649764She can live in our closet, like all good time travelers>>28649832Get nick fury on the horn
>>28649853I wonder how Totemic the clones are? If they had enough juice, we could just nab 'em and sacrifice them to fuel the alternative cure. Hell, grab a whole bunch.
>>28649907>no more bad end splinter reality.Yeah for us. But everyone in the future timeline will cease to exist because of us
You pause and look at her. Really look at her. Until now, you’ve been dealing with her as someone or something you’re forced to deal with. Until now, where she poured our her own emotions, her own fears. There’s no way she’s not human. But, even if you say so, it doesn’t mean she’d accept it herself. Not to mention, that question is something that’s weighed you down as well. With your superhuman abilities, you could probably do whatever you wanted- you could have become a thief or criminal- it’s unlikely anyone could have stopped you if you put your mind to it. But that’s not what you did, was it. No, you tried to stop crime- to become a hero, even as a self-interested one.But even so, this doesn’t apply to just you. Look at Flash- even though he probably could have been somewhere safer, he wore that symbiote and fought for what he believed in. He put his mind and body at risk- you’ll never be able to forget his smile as went to extend his hand to shake yours. He made a choice to do what he believed in, right to the very end. But, conversely that also goes the other way, too. People consumed by their internal monsters, who lash out at others. Gwen’s stalker, the Hobgoblin’s attacks…CARNAGE, too- who through away its very humanity to appease its own selfish ego. You look down at your mask- not really looking at it but what it inspired- Flash’s proud Agent Venom and Gwen’s foul CARNAGE.Ultimately… people are who they choose to be.You glance over at a worried looking Stella.“…I think that’s a choice you’ll have to make yourself, Stella.”Looking back down at the mask, you remember the choices you’ve made. “And it’s a choice you can’t just make once, either. It’s a choice you have to make every day.”>1/3
>>28649928That's what DOOM's been doing. Just has a giant blender and has been making Peter Clone smoothies.
>>28649929And when they actually exist again. or reach that age, they'll be living much happier lives.
>>28649917We kind of should do that, anyway. We need to get SHIELD on this now, so that they might be able to avoid this terrible hellscape. And DOOM would be foolish to send us back without evidence and documentation of the threats to come.
>>28649884We appear in Xavier's Mansion. If we're lucky we'll have a nightcrawler.
>>28649929Is it really bad if it doesn't happen?
>>28649935Your mind pictures more and more people who changed ever since you met them- Felicia when you first met her as the mysterious Black Cat compared to the Felicia you said goodbye to before heading to this future. The Flash you remember bullying you versus the Flash you saw die- a proud soldier with a smile on his face. The Gwen who designed your costume with you and the Gwen that became CARNAGE.“…And for us - For people like us, who suddenly find themselves looking out at a crazy world and not knowing what the hell we're supposed to be doing in it... I can tell you that just remembering that with great power comes great responsibility can completely define you.”You glance over at her. “But you should always remember- you always have a choice, Stella. What people think of you means nothing compared to who you choose to be.”She looks away, her hands playing with her dress. She doesn’t look your way for a little while- you’re not sure how long but you wait- wait for her to make that choice herself. And finally she looks back over at you, unsure and hesitant.“I’m Stella. That’s WHO I choose to be. Anyone who likes it can just.. Just deal with it!” You smile and ruffle her hair. “Just remember that, Stella.”She smiles and nods before looking away. “H-hey, Peter… could you tell me more about your family? I can’t meet them, but I think I would have liked to. T-that is… if you don’t mind?”Smiling softly, you lean your head back. “Not at all, let’s see. What’s a fun story…”You don’t know how long you went on telling her stories, but eventually as you finish a story, you feel her head fall against your torso as you hear her lightly breathing. You lightly her on the head, as to not disturb her.“G’night, Stella”>2/3

>>28649959Resting your arms above your head, you drift off to a dream free of nightmares. When next you awake, it’s to someone shaking you awake. Opening your eyes, Stella smiles at you behind her glasses. “Hey, Peter. The Doctor says we should go and get supplies, so we need to get moving!”Yawning, you get up and stretch. Heading outside with Stella in a moderately untouched area, you don’t see any signs of people, but there’s shops nearby. The Doktor is filling gas from a gas-station. According to the Dok, there’s some areas that still get power and refills here and there so that vehicles like the one you’re in can refuel. The further you get, the more there’ll be, along with the chances of there being people.Stella walks by your side. As you two are the only ones that need to eat, the hour or two given to you to grab food is a kindness granted grudgingly by the doctor. You suspect there’s nothing there, but you look at the Gas Station to find what you suspected- there’s nothing in there that’s good. Everything’s either been looted or is rotten. Letting out a sigh, you scratch at your head and look over at Stella. “Hey, how about we head to the grocery store. Maybe there’ll be something there.” Nodding Stella moves to leave when she’s stopped by Alice, who hands her the sword and revolver, in a sheath and holster respectively on a belt.. “These are yours. If leaving the vehicle, they are required.”Stella looks at them then puts the belt on after a moment. She moves to head off before looking back. “I’m taking these because I’m going to use them to protect people. I’m not just a weapon- I won’t become like you!”Alice seems to freeze up for a moment as Stella walks up to you. As the two of you walk off you glance back to see Alice watching Stella, one hand clutching her other arm’s shoulder, that hand rapidly opening and closing.Stella grabs you be the arm, tugging you forward. “C’mon Peter, lets go!”The two of you head off to the grocery store looking for food.>roll me 1d100, lower is better.

>10As the two of you look around, you find several canned foods whose expirations dates haven’t passed. There’s a few good ones, like a few cans of soup, but there’s also several …not-so-good ones like asparagus. Yuck. Once you two have found everything needed you stop with Stella outside on the bench and sit down with her. Stella glances over at you. “What’s wrong, Peter?”You run a hand over your chin. “Well, it’s about what you said to Alice, earlier. That wasn’t appropriate. Even if you don’t like Alice, it was incredibly rude to say, especially to her face.”Stella looks away, crossing her arms. “I don’t get why- she’s cold and won’t talk to me. I bet she hates me.”Letting out a sigh, you tiredly ruffle her hair. “Things aren’t that simple, Stella. Alice… she’s had a hard life…”You take a few moments to tell her everything you’ve leaned about Alice. When you’re done, Stella clutches at her dress. “I messed up, huh?”You ruffle her hair again. “Maybe, but everyone makes mistakes, Stella. You’re young. The important thing is you learn something from them. You need to have sympathy towards others- you need to try to understand where they’re coming from and respect the hardships they’ve been through.”She pauses and looks at you. “What about people like CARNAGE? Should we try to understand her?”>1/?

>>28651137at least its not giant black guy named "DeepThroat"
>>28651153You let your hand rest on her head. “Well, there’s a limit, Stella. Someone who does unforgivable things like that, there’s definitely a need to understand why they are the way they are- but you can’t always do that, people are complex things. Even so, to take a life is a heavy thing, Stella, it shouldn’t be done easily or lightly- not at all if you can help it. “…When you take a life, it doesn’t come back, ever. What they might have done, for good or ill, is forever gone and that becomes a weight that will forever lie on your shoulders. Anyone who can easily take another’s life without a care is dangerous- they’ve abandoned their humanity to become a monster.”Stella looks at you. “So, its fine to kill CARNAGE then, right?”Shaking your head, you look up at the sky. “No, because even then that’s still a life. If you choose to kill CARNAGE it doesn’t mean you can take her life without a care- doing so means you’re no better than her- it can lead to a slippery slope that maybe that’s the best way to deal with all criminals. And then you’re no better than CARNAGE anyway.”Stella pauses and furrows her brow. “…but that’s stupid. Why is killing criminals who kill innocent people bad?”Poking her gently on the nose, Stella looks at your finger cross-eyed. “And that goes right back to the heart of the issue, Stella. You need to have sympathy and take into account the circumstances of others firstly. What if say you had no money but needed to feed the person you loved most- so you get desperate and try to rob someone, but they fight back and in the struggle you accidentally kill them. Is this hypothetical person as bad as CARNAGE?”Stella looks at you, confused. “No. It was an accident.”
>>28651167Shush, it worked.
>>28651153Well, of course. Even if it doesn't lead to cooperation, it can at least help stop her.
>>28651176“But if you didn’t know the circumstances- all YOU know is that this person mugged and killed an innocent old man. Then how could you know? After all he was just a criminal who killed an innocent old man.”Stella looks away, wrapping her arms around herself. “I didn’t…”Putting an arm on her should and lightly squeezing it, you smile down at her sympathetically. “I know. That’s why I’m trying to teach you. You’re young and you’ll make mistakes, but it’s the job of those of us older than you to try to make sure you don’t make mistakes you’ll regret for the rest of your life.”Stella wipes at her eyes. “…Thanks, Peter.”Ruffling her hair, you get up with your bags of groceries. “Don’t mention it.”Stella pauses and looks back at you, nervous. “Hey, can we look around a little more? I… don’t want to head back yet.”It’s been about forty minutes- you still have an hour and twenty minutes or so. >>28651233We do have an illusionist with us, though. So we have a bit of a safety margin. In a way she's even better than when we had Sue cloaking us, because Loki's illusions are across the entire sensory spectrum. They even fool the senses of divine beings, I'm sure they could fool Carnage. Though I imagine Stella isn't nearly as good with them as her clone-daddy is. Still, useful to have in a pinch.
>>28651327Do we even know if she's a clone of Loki? It could be any Asgardian.
>>28651327Considering she was more or less just born; I doubt she has a good handle on them. The premise of getting carnage to light itself on fire IS an intriguing one. Also Peter seems pretty adamant on not killing it when he seemed pretty ok to give it a try alongside Flash a few in-game days ago.
>>28651345True. But illusion powers, black hair, green eyes...he's the only named Asgardian with those traits. It might be Enchantress that she's cloned from, and the coloration is a red herring, but for now I'm assuming it's Loki.
>>28651358>Also Peter seems pretty adamant on not killing it when he seemed pretty ok to give it a try alongside Flash a few in-game days ago. He's not adamant about not killing it. He's just adamant about accepting the responsibility and burden of ending a life. >>28651358I figure he's trying to be a good role model. He's basically a big brother now, he has to set an example for Stella. And what you do in the middle of a fight for survival tends to be different from what you do if you have a choice in the matter, anyway.
>>28651408As far as we know, neither is Stella.
>>28651385Odin and Freya also had illusion powers. That's actually why Loki studied magic to begin with. Odin was a powerful sorcerer in addition to a mighty warrior. Loki wanted to earn his respect intellectually, instead of with feats of strength like his brother.
>>28651345plus >zreacherous as her progenitorand who's backstabby as loki?

>>28651466I don't think it was said. But assuming she's the same Doktor as the one at the end of Alice's quest, she's a grown-up Sunny Emmerich expy. So white hair and brown eyes.

>>28651514He didn't appreciate the competition. Or when she tried to brainwash Thor into loving her.
>>28651514Remember, this is Marvel. So the Odin of Norse myth is the result of a barbarian culture imposing its views of how power should be wielded onto the persona of an alien warrior-king. The actual Odin is a rather different fellow. Much less petty. He was written by Jack Kirby, after all, all of his God-Kings are nice guys. Out of touch because of their station, but never acting out of malice. Well, except Darksied, of course.
>>28651571Shiro, please go.

>>28651643Yeah, I know. I just like to reminisce about the good old days. When the King was still alive, and all was well. Until proven wrong, I will assume that we're dealing with Kirby's version of every character we meet that he wrote. It's so much happier, that way. It's my way of coping with the apocalypse.

You looks around. “Sure, let’s go. But we’ve got to be quick, alright?”She nods as the two of you head towards the shopping district. The two of you stick together the entire way- Stella looks at and grabs several dresses that look like they might fit her as you do the some with some interesting looking fabrics you don’t think you’ve seen before. Stopping by several electronic stores and the like, you grab several radios and whatever else you can get- there’s slimmer picking from years of abandonment and neglect- there’s a few places that have been looted, too.Wait- Pokemon? HELL YES.Grabbing several portable consoles and computers you can find you console yourself with the fact that this is all for the best- you grab a books including a sports almanac. Stella watches you. “So, its fine to take whatever we want then? I thought stealing was wrong…”You look at the stuff you’ve got, a little embarrassed. “Well, normally no. If there’s people here that own the shop or place then its wrong for sure. But this place hasn’t been touched for years and it isn’t likely the people will come back. It’s best for these things to get some use out of them rather than rotting away, unused.”She glances at you, more than a little dubious before looking down at her dresses embarrassedly. “So let’s go back, right?”You strap the supplies you’ve gathered into the bags you have- you got two blankets and pillows- one for each of you- as well. Carrying them isn’t hard as the two of you hurry back to the truck. Alice is sitting on the back of the trunk as the Doktor is pacing. “Finally- vat.”The doctor stares deadpan at you. “Vhy do you have so many zings?”Scratching at the back of your neck, you let out a nervous chuckle. “Well, we got food, but we got other things like blankets and pillows and a few things for me to tinker with instead of sitting around doing nothing.”>1/2

>>28652024All the questions I have are super spoiler-y; so I'll try and ease back on it.You mentioned Asgard; where these entities friends or foes?
>>28652033>Implying Carnage won't roll four natural ones in a row and die due to a heart attack>rigreedd sciencesDem captchas, man.
>>28652024Are we basically superhero jesus?
>>28652046>Okay. Why specifically were the fabrics we picked up interesting?I'm betting on unstable molecules.
>>28652024Can we get a paragraph on what Deadpool is doing during this?
>>28652024Do we have a backpack available so we can actually carry the cool stuff we got at the mall with us through the time portal?
>>28652024Meta - do you have backup plans for when *Enemy rolls all 20s, Peter rolls all 1s and should get instagibbed*Peter rolls all 20s, Enemy rolls all 1s and suddenly they get instagibbed
>>28652069I'm betting on leather and fishnets.
>>28652006One of the advantages of our costume is that we actually have pockets. And we can just straight up shove shit in our jacket and pants when it comes down to it.
>>28652024How the hell is Carnage keeping up with us?How big is this truck thing?Rundown on the tech Peter snagged?>>28652073Why do you care so much about a character that hasn't been written well in about a decade? (I'm assuming you're the same person who keeps asking and speculation about Wade)
>>28652024When we go back, does the BAD FUTURE timeline still exist?Or does everyone inside it just poof out of existence?
>>28652101>Why do you care so much about a character that hasn't been written well in about a decade? You haven't been following his recent run. It's good stuff. Real good.Even /co/ likes it, and they hate many things.
>>28652069You mean the kind that fall apart because they're unstable, or the kind that are held together by plot convenience?>>28652073Oh, yes. And can it be back in the present time?>>28652060All the superheroes are essential. Even Hank Pym's death at the hands of Wolverine in the past had dire consequences for the future.
>>28652057Implying CARNAGE is capable of having a heart attack.>>28652042>Zodiac themed- Leo and Aquarius with different legendaries based on the different Zodiac signs- one form of Pisces per version.>>28652046One of them was a material that seemed cloth based that changed color when exposed to heat. >>28652060Uncle Ben died for your sins.
>>28652107Poof.The future we're in right now is the future in which we never came back from the time portal. Once we DO come back to the present, the future will be invalidated by the timestream and cease to exist. This has been said numerous times before. Pay attention.
>>28652130>You mean the kind that fall apart because they're unstable, or the kind that are held together by plot convenience? The ones created by Reed Richards that make up 90% of superhero costumes because they are so durable.
>>28652143Or a brain aneurism. It's the silent killer, Lana.
>DOOM is 5 days ride, day and night non-stop, from our NYC locationSo either DOOM lives in upper canada/south america or Doc drives like a grannyAlso: Omega in a DOOMbot. Think about it.
>>28652143Ooh, we might be able to do some sort of chameleon effect with that.Oh, can you tell us now what sorts of abilities Stella has?
>>28652150Ah, alright. I wasn't entirely clear on whether or not it was just going to be a split timeline or not.So I guess this means that we're bringing Stella back if we can. And we haven't met anyone else who didn't exist back then, as far as I know.
>>28652084Yes.>>28652073No. For various reasons.>>28652101Imagine someone who doesn't ever have to stop running. Ever. That's Carnage during the DAY. Nighttime's a different beast entirely. Pretty big- its around an RV in size.>>28652107Like I'd answer that right now.
>>28652181You try driving a big rig over streets that haven't been maintained in 15 years.
>>28652200Good point; honestly hadn't thought about that.
>>28652195>No. For various reasons.What...>Like I'd answer that right now....the fuck?
>>28652195CarnageSnacks must have some jacked up energy density.
>>28652185>StellaNope.I will say I'm working on special mechanics for something down the line, though.
>>28652222>Stella, honey, show us what you can doYes you can.
>>28652195>Nighttime's a different beast entirelyWhen do we get to write our will?
>>28652222Meaning we are practically expected to bring her back to our time.Interesting...
>>28652222Ah well, it was worth asking. This was your best issue yet in terms of generating feels, Cosgrove. Nicely done
>>28652231She can't show us, though: We're immune to her power.
>>28652216If I wrote Deadpool, without being better prepared for it, I think it'd end up pretty awful. Besides, knowing the bastard- faithfully adapting this means he might spoil plot elements.>>28652242Nope. The mechanics aren't even related to her, though she may use them sometimes. The trial run will be for Peter.
>>28652222Is it possible to take the future symbiote back to the past without causing it to implode?
>>28652251I'd say the Flash scene did that; less sad, but more hebbie jeebies/ ptsd>>28652195>Nighttime's a different beast entirely. The rustbucket will never be fast enough. Fuck. Hope those pokemans where worth her being able to catch up.
>>28652195So did that sonic-emitter get rid of all of the symbiote from our system after we scooped it up?Did we get all of the symbiote off Flash? Just some of it? Just most of it?
>>28652268I'd still like to see it. Or better yet, get a Pooly Time edition of PPQ.>he might spoil plot elements.Yeah, but that's what makes it fun. Him teasing us about shit that we have no idea when it'll happen.
Rolled 32What time are you running tomorrow? When is it going to end?
>>28652231Well in story I could sure. But out of story before they're revealed? No, I don't generally do that.
>>28652222Are you aware of how much power you gave us with those pokemon games? If we get into the programming itself and stuff, we'll not only know all the pokemon of 2035/whenever they stopped making pokemon games, but we'll also know every pokemon created between 2013 and then.
>>28652308>implying the only pokemon games we found aren't the pearl and diamond remakes
>>28652308I am perfectly aware, but that assumes that THESE games are even made in the CTL. Butterfly wings and all that.
>>28652308Assuming us not disappearing doesn't change what Pokemon are made. Butterfly effect! Also, bringing back the game would mean that the game would never be made. Not to mention that this is programming from 2020+.
>>28652334Then we have high quality knockoffs, a la Shiny Black, ect. Still fun though.
>>28652278Oh yea that was totally horrifying. I should have said good feels.

>>28652408Oh my god.Cosgrove, please, we need Deadpool Quest. Even just a oneshot or something.
>>28652430There already was one, used same rules as Parker Quest even.Didn't last long though. Think it ended after we broke out of Weapon X with Logan.
>>28652408>>28652430No anon, you are the cancer.
Daaaaaaaaaaaaw, Morning. Great Quest.
I wonder what would happen if Loki found out about Stella and decided to come as fem Loki.Oh, the bullshit Loki can start with Peter and Felicia.
>>28653628Peter would be immune to his illusion bullshit though.
>>28651918Or bringing future-fabrics back to 2013 to patent for our tech-startup. This does lead to an interesting question, though. Doom said anything we bring back that 'already exists' would cause a paradox. But, technically, matter can neither be created nor destroyed, all the atoms that make up everything already exist and always will in some form, even the organic molecules that make up our body and clothes. So...... doesn't that mean that all time travel is paradoxical? If we went to the past and accidentally bumped into an apple tree that contains two or three carbon molecules that will eventually be part of our skin in a decade, would that create a paradox? Or are we assuming that, like Richards says, time-streams are self-healing and just adjust for paradoxes and discrepancies?
>>28654267Comic book logic. It's about the souls and animas of the objects, their identities, not their atoms.Worst comes to worst we blame the Akashic Records editors.
>>28653904>(You)No, just Stella's. However, if Loki doesn't know about Spider-Sense, he may not bother creating an illusion with a component that fools that sense, leaving us with one clear sense we can use to detect and dodge dangers. And I suggest next time we get some XP, we invest in heightening the Spider-Sense. Omniscience is never a bad investment.
>>28654449>>28654326... Is our Spider Sense us reading into the Akashic Records through the web of life?
>>28654670Maybe. I always assumed it was our brain monitoring information on the quantum level, processing data about our surroundings so quickly we can't consciously access any of it (making our brain technically much smarter than we are), and it just tweaks our Fight or Flight center when it registers danger.
>>28654732So we have Tachyon sense? Wouldn't it have triggered heavily with time travel?
>>28651906 “Now Stella, you look pretty much like a 12 year old girl. SO, it is my solemn duty to have you play video games. HERE!” You fling one of the handhelds at Stella...and hit her face. Stella looks away, wrapping her arms around herself. “I don't…” Putting an arm on her should and lightly squeezing it, you worriedly smile down at her. “Please don't cry! I'm sorry, I just- I'm... That’s why I’m trying to teach you. You’re young and even when you're my age you’ll make mistakes, so try to avoid them, but don't sweat it.” Stella deadpans. “…Isn't that the exact opposite of what you told be 10 minutes ago?.” Ruffling her hair, you grab a console and load up Porkeyman. “OH, shut up.” Stella pauses and looks back at you, anxiously. “Hey, can I play?… Please?.” "Eh, sure grab a console, we took like- I dunno 30 of 'em." Hours of playing go by, before you stand up to take a piss. >Keep playing Pokeymans >The precious, I must touch it.(Don Symbiote) >Hit on Alice >Brood on this grim future, and what you can do to prevent it >Write in
