You gape at hearing that last bit of information, hardly believing your ears.
"My mom? A person that knows mom?" Your smile tears across your face, bright and cheerful, dispelling any military manner you may have had. Your heart beats twice in sucession as you're giddy with the word.
"Really? You're serious Boss?"

Giovanni gives you a slow and controlled nod in affirmation," Indeed I am. From the Frozen wastes that Lorelei travels, a ranger that's trained under her for quite some time is spending three days here, reporting on their findings and giving a yearly reminder that they're still alive out there. Last time the visitor hadn't been sure to find you. This time, he should have a message from your mother."

You can't help but squirm in place after how long it's been,"A message... Could I send one back?"
"Of course."

Fatigue effectively melts out of your body at the news, causing you to forget how tired you are,"By Arceus, this is.. This is awesome."

"I suppose I should call ahead for him to wait for you there?"

You nod rapidly, your heart beating a million miles a minute,"Yes, yes, yes, I'll be there fast, as fast as I can, Oh so-"

Giovanni chuckles a little at that,"Go then, I'll make the ca-"
You run around The Boss's table, hugging him around the neck in his chair,"Thank you, thank you Boss! You're the best Boss ever! I'll make you proud, I mean it!"
The man gives you a gentle pat on the head,"Alright Cerulean, Alright. Can't keep people waiting now."

You jump back, heading for the door,"Of course Boss, right away Boss, thank you Boss!" You throw the door open in you rush, looking back at the last moment," Oh, and I really like the birthday gift! Thank you!"

Closing the door, you find the energy to run back to your dorm to change, boarding the Veridian Tram along the Gym-stop. other Veridian trainees walking by finding their way to their gym for their Noon training.

Stamina: 15%

You decided to wear your favorite water-blue dress with some gloves tipped to sheath your claws. You swish it to and fro happily as you board the electromag tram en route to Pallet Square. From there it'd be easy to find the Research institute after all.

On the tram, you get a few weird looks from some non-ranger passengers. A nervous smile to try to disarm their and your unease proves to only worsen it, a lady moving a few seats down from you, her chin up and her eye focused on your out of the corner.

You've gotten looks like this before from some people. You tug at your dress with a bit of anxiety, turning your thoughts toward the person that you'd be meeting at the institute.

Word from mom. That's enough to drive away the pressure of those looks. Though it may as well make people just as nervous with the "monster" on board smiling madly to itself.

Oh well, they can deal with it. You're happy.

We haven't interacted with civilians extensively in the past, right?

With fellow rangers, no one really reacts much to one another's implants. Or, even in cases like Koga's, we just easily accept it even after being initially perturbed by his appearance (as we were with Kitty the first time we saw her up close).

I guess this sort of problem is going to crop up more as we grow older and are forced to interact with the normal populace more, huh?

Is it inconsequential? We are human beings, after all. It's fine to be hurt when others think negatively of you. That just proves we have feelings. It's fine to roleplay like that. There's no requirement where we need to max out our character's equips.

Right now, Cerulean DOES care about what other people think about her looks. There's no changing that. And there are anons here who care about her looks too, although from a design perspective. That's a valid concern as well.

I will never get over how stupid that is. Why in the world wouldn't we put it on top of the skin so it can actually protect us.
>>
>>28650131
Anon, all I'm saying is that there are other ways for her character to develop. And that there are people here interested in making sure that Cerulean's design doesn't look dumb. Have you ever been to any of the Mary Sue threads? Where they post pictures of the worst designed Sues? Yeah. Don't want any of that.

Yes
>>
I imagine we'll have external Shells on our arms and legs over major arteries so we can use them to shield us while the rest will be internal around our vitals.
>>
>>28650158
Anon, you.....

It'd protect us, alright. Just not like external armor. It shouldn't be hard to understand why having unbreakable bones is a good thing.

I understand that you think having it on top is better as armor. It is. But having it underneath does have its benefits as well and is less obtrusive.
>>
>>28650158
It still protects the important bits if it's under the skin. Raises general survivability by a whole huge amount with very minimal profile change or loss of mobility.
basically; Adamantium bones. Combined with our regen-like rest.
>>
>Not getting shellder bone grafts AND external plating
>>
>>28650162
It's not about that. No matter how much people try to throw that buzzword around, we are not a matter sue. We can be able to do many or most things and not be one.

You can start saying we're a Mary sue once we get articuno wings.
>>
maybe along our spine as well.
>>
>>28650215
No, you misunderstand. The reason why I brought up Mary Sues is to illustrate that design is important and that having too much going on at the same time can destroy the image. A sense of aesthetics is important when making characters.
>>
>>28650202
I just see no reason to put them under our skin instead of on top of it. And looks doesn't count.
>>
>>28650215
Considering how big Articuno probably is in the absurdly unlikely event that it's taken down there'll probably be a lot of Articuno implanted Rangers soon after if the body is usable.
>>
>>28650246
Fitting into clothes easier, less restricted mobility, general comfort while using our all important rest ability, hydrodynamics, as shellders aren't very good swimmers, need I go on?

There's all sorts of advantages to a slimmer profile that should be considered.

>>
>>28650296

>>
>>28650246
Having armor doesn't stop penetrating hits (that is to say, strikes that get past armor through shock/ripples). It's like....building a bunker. It's not just the exterior that should be fortified. The insides should be even sturdier. Better support.

So external versus internal; they have different protective benefits, and the latter would be more aesthetically pleasing and less restrictive to our movements.

>>28650291
We'll work it out, anon. Talk to a scientist in the story. No need to worry about things like that now.
>>
>>28650291
Shell spikes would jut out from the skin. Spiked Knucks, Spiked Elbow, Spiked Spine.
Be completely terrible for putting on clothes.
And, you know. Harder than diamond.
>>
>>28650241
This isn't about "making a character" in this world rangers do what they must to survive or they die.

basing anything off of asthetics is retarded when it affects life and death situations. Characters will almost never choose to die (or have a higher chance of dying) than to look a little mismatched

Plus shelder armor isn't ugly if we place it right.
>>
>>28650153
It wouldn't make full use of having a shell, if it was actually possible. Cloyster can take less damage from weather effects, become immune to spores, and shift from buffing under it's shell to full offense. Withdraw > Focus energy x times > shell smash > lock on + sniper + icebeam spam anyone?

And are you honestly going to tell me that they're not the best around?

>>28650307
What's the problem? Do you really think we'll look much better when we grow up?
>>
I really really don't like shellder/cloyster at all and I hope we try to work on what we have now instead of trying to pile more and more on.

Look at what the older rangers we know have. We're already sitting at the same or more types of implants than most of them.
>>
>>28650282
How many times do I have to say this?

Getting some parts does not turn you into that pokemon. Swimming will not be affected. Shells are also light as fuck. It going on our skin (not jutting out from) won't reduce mobility unless we plate our joints over like a dumbass.
>>
>>28650327

I'd go so far to say that too many grafts is bad. They interfere if you don't put them in useful places (Like, say, the gold teeth. If we put them in our mouth) Or if we put every water type ever into us?

Besides, none of our skills are even above 5. I'd rather wait till we master something before we jam more flesh in us.

Disembarking from the tram, you follow the street signs to the institute, receiving fewer stares as you near, much to your relief.

You'd run down these streets if you weren't so tired, you swear. Everything's still so sore, especially after sitting on the tram like that.

Within the insitute, you look around in the lobby. The person should be here. Where-

"You there, you're Cerulean, yes?" You hear the deep and low voice of a man from behind you, your ears twitch in the direction of the voice, your head following suit in the next instant.

Before you stands a tall man, well. All adults are tall, but this one is more so than usual. A light blue, almost white Ranger uniform covered most of his body with a thick white fur spilling out from his built chest and swollen arms and hands. His teeth look like Shark's and you can see that despite the fur, his hands bear a kind of webbing along with his face being angular, though shaggy hair falls before his eyes.
This man indeed is huge, bigger than you expected, and you're baffled that you hadn't noticed him right away.
You absently nod your head, gazing upon this giant of a man with a stark wonder.
The man extends a hand the size of a dinner plate, talons at the end of his fingers,"Nice to meet you little, Cerulean. My name is Gustav. It is a pleasure to meet you."

>[]"Nice to meet you Mr. Gustav..." Shake his hand.
>[] Look on in wonder, stunned by his largeness.

It is very simple. Armor = more combat capability. More combat capability = more protecting. Very simple.

Personally identifiable think Prof made a mistake keeping most rangers confined like he does. They would be taking implants all over the place.

Yeah Misty has three, Goldeen (evolved) Horsea (evolved) and Starmie.

Brock has two, Golem and OC Skalgite (which I think is kind of bullshit. Not that he has an OC, but just that he only has those two).

Even Koga only has two separate species of grafts, Venonat (some evolved, some not) and Weedle (evolved).

So really, we have more than most gym leaders at this point. Three is a perfectly respectable amount.

I was kind of disappointed when I realized this is true due to the nature of this system, makes coverage moves a lot less valuable than they are in the games, I suppose that is good given the lack of the 4 move restriction.
I will say though, that I am a fan of tons of grafts and it is because of abilities and utility, abosrbing elements, being immune to burns/spores, regenerating, being able to turn into water.

Fuck Repel Tech...

You need goddamned flechette dischargers and hedgehog launchers.

As soon as one of those things is spotted, you use the Hedgehog launchers (also good against larger objects...these things were death to U-boats that were at periscope-depth).

If it gets past those....then you use the flechette dischargers. Very similar to the Ontos vehicles the US used in Vietnam....6-barreled monstrosities that launched flechette rounds into the jungle. Anything caught in that hail of razor-sharp metal will be shredded, and water is only going to slow it down a little bit.

The reason we would get more grafts is because of the passives they bring, not their active abilites. Perfect temperture control. Super Durability. Regeneration.

Like one of the reasons we got remoraids is because they have that super-crit ability.

You nod your head again, smiling with your fang-like teeth at the large man,"It's nice to meet you Mister Gustav!" You grab his large hand that entirely dwarfs your own, his paw forming around it and giving it a gentle shake. It surprises you how careful he is.
What should be crushing strength is actually a delicate though firm grasp. You don't remember anything about your father, though if you had to think of a fatherly feeling, this would be it.

The man kneels down beside you, getting more on the level,"How have you been doing Cerulean?" He smiles through his beard, an inexplicably kind tone to his voice.
The child in you begins to come out more, a giddy smile finding its way upon your face,"Oh, I've been good. I, well, I joined the rockets, and I've been training really hard. Boss says I'm his top trainee."

Gustav chuckles at that like an old friend, or an uncle. "Ah, yes, yes. Giovanni. Good to know that you're working hard." Gustav glances about, checking other people before leaning over by your ear for a whisper.
"Be careful with that man, you hear? He's the scheming sort." Pulling away, his jolly smile returns to his face."I don't expect us to just sit here and chat though, we could speak elsewhere if you'd like. Anywhere you'd like to go?"

I think we already know he's kind of a scheming sort from how he stacked the deck in our Viridian Forest exam.

That's always how I've viewed Giovanni. Never necessarily a bad guy, but opportunistic, and eager to take advantage of stuff that could mean big profits for him.

Grafting a shell (which will eventually become spiky as all fuck) to your flesh, permanently, is very different from wearing body armour when it's needed.

Missions seem to resolve around either resource acquisition, recon, extermination, or capture. All of those work better through having higher mobility and abusing repel gear so as not to be noticed at all while you snatch and grab or blast the shit out of the target.

By the time you need ULTRA CLOYSTER ARMOR to tank shit, you've fucked up immensely.

That's not saying that it would never be useful, but it does not jive with the nature of the job as much as people are claiming it does.

Right, now hopefully that the Cloyster stuff has calmed down, I wanted to say something serious about future grafts.

We already have our major body grafts, I think. Most, if any of our future stuff should be internal, or barely interfere with the outside, I think. This might be for a certain ability, or what have you.

>>
>>28651409

This man gets it.

If you're at the point where you need to start tanking hits.

You've done fucked up.

Rangers are outnumbered, outgunned, and outmatched.

Rangers must rely on speed, stealth, and hitting hard and fast, and then retreating before retaliation comes their way.

Large, bulky armor does not help with that.

Large, bulky armor may aid us in taking a few hits...but we should not be taking those hits in the first place.

That and we've already built for speed and range.

What you're doing is effectively taking a lightweight boxer, one who relies on footwork and speed, and throwing him in a match while wearing Full Plate. Yeah, he's gonna tank some hits....but he's completely out of his element and is taking far more hits than he would have without the armor.
>>
>>28651458
I'm cool with that. Personally I see us more like a glass cannon than a turtle, so the shell idea doesn't fit.

You try to his a frown from his comment about Giovanni,"Don't talk about the Boss that way, isn't nice."
Gustav pats your head gently,"Ah right, right. Sorry. Been out in the cold so long it's kind of frozen my noggin."

Under his attention, you can't help but smile again,"Let's go for a walk in Pallet Central Park, I'll show you were it is, come on!"
You grab at his hand and start tugging at him with your tired body as he lets himself be tugged along.
"Alright, alright little Cerulean, lead the way."

THe two of you leave the institute as you carry on telling him about your time as a ranger, the people you've met, and how thinking about mom's gotten you through so much. Gustav, patient and friendly as he is just nods right along listening to it, everything.
When you think you don't have anything left to say about something, he asks a question that gets you going again, realizing that you almost forgot some detail or that there's a whole other story in that one.

Despite just meeting the man, you find him easy to talk to. You can't quite put your finger on it. He's patient, calm, and collect. Maybe it's because he knows mom?

Oh, you need to ask about that.

"So, about my mom."
"Ah, yes. You want to know about that now?" His eyes turn from the gentle foliage that drapes over the arch of trees over the walkways.
Pushing a sleeve up, he reveals an icy blue Index with a distinct red mark upon it. "I've recorded a message for you on my index. I can take one back to your mother as well."

THe man thinks for a moment,"What would you like to know first?"

I fail to see why we would get external shellder armor implanted. It's as hard as diamond and lightweight, we could easily make a breastplate out of it to wear. The only thing we lose is the ability to regenerate it, which isn't a problem, because shellders are common and easy to catch.

"Is she okay?" The first question that you blurt out of your mouth, the vague memory of that dream you had so long ago coming to mind. She isn't, is she?
Gustav just kind of smiles at that," Oh, she is well. Quite well actually. She talks about you from time to time. Shows the others of our camp your baby pictures.
You feel yourself flush cold at that. Your baby pictures?!

Gustav laughs out loud, patting you on the back," It is all right, you were a cute kid. Growing now though. You'll become tall and beautiful like your mother."
"Thanks, you smile besides yourself," So, umm.. Where is she? What are you all doing?"

Gustav goes uncharacteristically silent at that, shaking his head slowly," Not something that I can exactly say. We walk places of floating ice and snow. Colder than any non-ice ranger would dare to go with monsters just as vicious as the weather. Though the two are hardly different. Rest assured though. The work we do is important. Though it seems you have enjoyed our gift from one of our last visits." The man gestures at you, effectively all of you.

"Oh, umm. Oh! Did you and mom get the Crytten?"

Gustav chuckles heartily at that," Get it? I'm the one that named it. Little blasted cubs cry like their injured only to pounce when you think its safe to get close. Blasted monsters just about gnawed off a ranger's arm. Frostbite set so we had to get him a new one. Should've named them Arm-knackers or something." He says in a bit of reflection.

"Anything else?"
You shake your head," No sir, I'd like to hear the recording."

The message cuts off, with Gustav's good social graces,"Ah, I'll... Umm... I'll just link this to your index to listen to later. I will be leaving the City tomorrow into the night if you wish to send a message back. Ahhh alright?"

You blush furiously and nod quickly at that," Uh huh, right. yes, thank you."

Something like 2 other big missions after this and well.. You'll know the big one.

Thank you

Rocket training stresses prowess in every field across the board just about as well as those that specialize. His canine features improve his tracking abilities.
He's a hunter and a torturer.

Not that I'm in a rush to or anything, but we've yet to step outside to smell the deadly acid spewing flowers yet. Color me a little worried should one show up.

We had TWO lucky rolls.

It was a lovely time to be here.

Anyway, on "the titans of pokemon town", I don't think the pokemon are supposed to be on the danger level of titans (generally). Or at least, they wouldn't be if we didn't have our implants. But I digress. I just don't think Prof is trying to match SnK's tone exactly.

>>
>>28652413
Let me clarify; the disparity between our strength and the enemy's strength is probably not meant to match the one between the titans and the military in SnK. Because the gap isn't as large, the tone of the story is different.

The only ones who can really represent the titans for us are the pokemon who are higher up on the threat level list. Like dragons. Or legendaries.

You're welcome. Enjoy hunting the internet for that one.

Pretty much why I decided the dome shouldn't fall or have a real breach early.

Zapdos was a look at the fact that there are in fact things outside the dome that can kill you and barely even noticed.
The Veridian forest was a look at the fact that even bugs can kill.
>>28652450
There are also no titan shifters. the SnK is pretty much the premise of the setting "Post apocalypse and all. Not titans or shifters in the regard. Heck, not even a "the dome is pokemons!"

I meant to ask: I thought we were suppose to take care of failing electricity mission there-or is that the mission we zoomed past with the forest trial?

Also, I'd just like to say I really appreciate the slow build up we have. When we kill our first wild pokemon that's maybe a C or B level? We'll feel awesome!

Then, way later, when we (if we're lucky) fell a S or something, we'll feel truly accomplished, instead of going "Big deal I killed 6 of those for breakfast."

Just want to comment about some of the subtler things people may not have realissed about the grafts.

Getting some of our ice grafts made us have difficulty with overheating, so it iss obvious that there are passive problems that can be logically deduced. One big thing about an unremovable shell is that it might make it impossible to have children. Think on that please.

Shelder armor would be pretty bulky. If we want to keep our agility, we'd best limit where we placed it....maybe on our forelegs, like greaves. Not on our arms, though. They'd restrict the Crytten spikes.

>>
>>28652950
I wouldn't mind having some subdermal shellder implants, just not the whole body. i'm thinking legs(spiked shin guards, water jets in legs) and Spine(unbreakable).
>>
>>28653007
So, does Silph Co. produce weaponry? Were they the ones who provided our bident and Bruise's gladius during the test? Will they continue making weapons or are they considering discontinuing that line of product? (ie; you still planning on making weapons out of pokemon parts)
>>
I'd like for us to get at least the first rank of Ice Fang and/or Bite as right now those fancy gold teeth claws are going to waste.
>>
>>28653012
A vest would too bulky and would restrict our movement.

The helmet is a good idea, although we'd need something customized towards our particular head (because of the horn). It'd hamper our hearing a bit, but we could always take it off.
>>
>>28653034
>vest
>hindering mobility
No, not really. That's the entire point of the shape.
>>
>>28653015
What do you mean spine? Do you mean the hinge of the Shelder's shell? It'd make sense if it was just as unbreakable as the rest of the body. We could totally put it on our spine and we'd never have to worry about becoming paralyzed through breaking our back.
>>
>>28652984
>>28652985
I don't know if there are any negatives, that's why I said 'any of' them. And by ditching it I mean Shell Smash, which I had hoped would just let us shed it (this is better than taking off real armor because if you want your suit back you have to retrieve it, we can regrow a shell), shell smash boosts speed and all attack stats, which I assume covers any negatives that might be from wearing armor, and users don't seem to be worried about being able to grow it back. This is supposition. I guess it is actually like a super-mode in the anime (I haven't seen it in action) where the shell energizes and separates into pieces around the user and supplements their attacks, and I imagine it must coalesce back into form afterwards.
>>
>>28653040
It'd be bulky, which is why it would hinder our movement. Or, wait, can you get an image of the shape you're imagining? So that I can get what you're thinking more easily?

We need to learn Scald.

>>
>>28653065
Ah, I see. Yes, it'd be best if we could cut the shell into smaller sizes so that it wouldn't be too thick.

Speaking of moves to learn....

Aside from the ice gun, do you guys have any other custom moves we could make up? They're free and seem to depend on the ranking of our trained abilities, so it'd be in our interest to try to make the best use of this freedom.
>>
>>28653083
we technically will need to get TWO shells, one to make the vest out of, and one to break the shell into the proper shape to make a vest out of.

In fact, it would be entirely wise and prudent to earmark shells entirely for the purpose of producing diamond hard tools and powder for enhanced cutting and working ability of other pokematerials.

Build up big chunk of ice, blast it at someone with water.

>>28653093
well once we get Ice Fang we could probably combo it with Crossroad Killing because of our claws

have another example of what it might theoretically be.

Money or not, it's vital for the progress of humanity against the pokethreat.
Getting rich is just a side effect.

It is called Shell Break in Japanese. The animation shows a shell over the user and then it breaking out, it is about breaking off your armor and moving faster and (somehow) hitting harder because of it. It is even clearer in the anime apparently.

>>28653119
Well, that makes substantially less sense and substantially more DBZs than I had imagined.

I imagine that Shell Smash would be like taking off the Macho Brace. By smashing the shell, the monster frees itself of its restrictions and can make better use of their natural muscles.

Crossroad Killing simply lets us hit critical spots, right? So combine that with Feint Attack and Ice Fang, we'd be particularly deadly.
>>

Somehow reminds me of the berserk status that some monsters in Monster Hunter go into once you've depleted enough of their health.

It is a dark type Slash, an attack which is more likely to crit. I assume Prof would allow it to combo like feint attack though, especially with ice fang.

OH HEY.

How fast can Ice Fang freeze things? If we raise up its rank, I imagine we could use it in conjunction with Water Gun to shoot thousands of tiny ice shards. And depending on how hard they are, we could basically make a pseudo-flak gun.

Which would be awesome.

Make knives with Ice Shards, leave them embedded in people after using Crossroad Killing. Few things react well to frozen chunks of ice stabbed into them.

A palm strike followed by a Water Gun or an Icicle Gun.

Stab our claws into something and then flash freeze it, like we do with Ice Shard, leaving a frozen chunk of blood, and possibly other things, in them.

Use Water Gun to shoot a lot of short shots in quick succession, get something like a machine gun going from each arm. Freeze the shots if we want for a hail of frozen needles.

We really need to learn how to just passively output fucktons of cold, like a permanent Icy Wind centered on us. It'd be useful as hell, especially if we can get it snowy in there so we can activate Snow Veil. We don't need sight as much as a lot of things, we can get by with our hearing and smell so snow-blind conditions are pretty alright for us.

Set up an Icy Wind swirling around us, keep on adding little frozen needles to the mix with Ice Shards, I want a little tornado of razor sharp ice.

Not as much a custom move as something good to do, throw out Icy Wind as we spray something down with Water Guns in order to coat it in a layer of frost.

Another good idea. We could use Feint Attack, Crossroad Killing, and Ice Shard to pin down a dangerous enemy by its vitals to the ground. It wouldn't even be able to get out without hurting itself further.

>snow warning
too bad snover is grass/ice and Aurorus rock/ice and extinct
>>
>>28653182
upgrading Icey wind will eventually become blizzard, but what we need is Hail.
>>
>>28653199
Snow Warning seems like something that would be isolatable to a single typing in the pokemon. Like how we thought about removing water from seel/dewgong, and keeping the ice. We might as well just learn how to use Hail though.
>>
we really should be putting XP points into frostiness and beaminess in the future. We've gotten our generalist training out of the way.
>>
Wish we knew what the Gym Leaders and Elite 4 were capable of. Just so we'd have something to compare our ideas to.

Combine Snarl and Nasty Plot if we can, intimidate the enemy while planning ways to eviscerate them.

>>28653196
We have Fuschia HtH training so we're pretty much a ninja, we might be able to create knives with Ice Shards as we're moving to stab people. Just constantly replenish our knife supply and leave them buried in the enemy.

I wonder if we can make them barbed. If so then we can rip them out of whatever we stab and cause even more damage.

It'd be interesting to work with Janine, we attach her string to barbed knives, stab something with a pile of them, and then she pulls them taut and fucks with its movement.

Get our hands in contact with something and flash freeze it. We don't even need much force, just contact. This can be added to a lot of other stuff, like Water/icicle gunning things at point blank range.

Feint Attack into Frost Breath is a very solid melee option if we don't mind killing our target.

>I wonder if we can make them barbed. If so then we can rip them out of whatever we stab and cause even more damage.
I imagine that with higher ranks, we'd be capable of just that.

Although for capture missions, we'll want to stick with making as little damage as possible, if at all. Alexis, Grumpy (I assume he'd be capable of putting monsters to sleep by now), and Senna would be our best candidates for taking down a target without causing any wounds.

>>28653250
>Snarl
mmm, I was already imagining doing this in tandem with Devon to a recalcitrant investigation subject.

bonding?
>>
>>28653271
I think lockon will be invaluable for us doing capture missions without capture specialized teammates.

A bit of water in the face followed by a freeze leads to suffocation. Then we can break or melt it off when the thing is unconscious.
>>
>>28653282
Oh yes.

We'd be bad cop. And badder cop.
>>
>>28653304
I think we should be bad cop, hug cop, and brain-reading cop.
Play to the strengths of the teammembers.

"I'm sure you've already noticed my..." flex fingers "hands are quite cold. But do you happen to recognize the implants on my comrade here? Ever heard of Houndoom? It's breath is likened to hellfire. The pain of such a burn... never goes away."
also, we need to work on quick attack to the point it is combo-able
>>
>>28653350
I wonder if we could merge Feint Attack and Quick Attack together? I know Prof already said higher ranks of Feint Attack would lead to quicker attackss, but I assume that just meant we'd be more efficient with our movements?

Finally caught this thread after work
I started picturing grumpy, bruise and other characters as having their own set of players running them and it cracked me up

Things like grumpy having his players complain about GM bullshit waifuing cerulean with her ridiculous unbeatable DC hugs and special snowflake having all those implants

Or bruise rolling to fake drowning and then rolling to see who ends up giving him CPR after they decided to go for the kiss
