>>28723501>>[ ] Homecoming
>>28723666Well, Satan, we'll need some downtime before leveling up. And we don't have downtime at the moment because we now have a chance at catching the Carnage Killer. We may not get an opportunity like this again. Also Stella needs a place to live. Also we need to catch Gwen's stalker. Also we need to tutor Flash. Also we need to deliver Natasha Spyral's note to her younger self. Also we need to unencrypt our dad's hard drive. And that's just our IMMEDIATE list of priorities.
>>28723501>>[ ] The Priest
>>28723501>[ ] The PriestMight get us some perspective scenes with Eddie Brock. We haven't interacted with him for a while.

They don't need to be done right now. Gwen's safe for a little while, Flash can wait at the very least until Monday when we see him in school.
>>28723778We don't need to worry about that for years, besides, doom isn't an idiot. Even letting him know the future will steer him away from that. It's not something we need to worry about.

>>28723912Dude. You never EVER give someone a pet without asking them first. A pet is a lot of responsibility, and if you give someone one out of the blue, it just puts them in an awkward position. If not live with her, Felicia can at least give her a false identity with all the necessary paperwork. She's good at that.
>>28724011>Homecoming...oh Goddammit this is the Symbiote.
>>28723864>1Though, I'm banking on Kassidy having found religion and that's why he isn't a psycho killer.
>>28724057Yeah, I know. I can't believe we got her a statue instead of a cat because we knew it's a bad idea and there are STILL people who want to give her a living bag of responsibility.
So who else thinks that Peter should get new costume that could be used both as normal clothing AND uniform>pic semi related just imagine that one side is a average joe jeans jacket and the reversed side is black/blue spider-ninja costume
>>28724242No more jackets. We already have that. We need an agility suit, like a proper Spider-Man.
>>28724242We need a reversable hoodie, reinforced with super materials.Just in case of surprise attacks, like the bomb on our desk
>>28724242That looks awful though.
>>28724057This. She can help with the ID but Stella is our responsibility and we need to handle it instead of pawning her on someone else.
I want to find that french dude from the increadibles and have him make us a costume. I wonder if he's around.

>>28724384Worst of both worlds
>>28724358I love that suit. We'll have to work up to it though.

>>28724384>no protection for legs or arms>heavy jacket ruins mobilityWhy
>>28724384like the >pic related?That could work.
>>28724358Our toughness isn't going to help us, or cater to our abilities. Being built like a tank is not going to help someone with Spider-Man's powers.Something we can utilize our superhuman reflexes and mobility is going to be the best option. For fuck's sake we're not the Iron Spider, we're Spider-Man.>>28724384That defeats the purpose.>>28724415No, it really won't. A jacket won't stop a bullet, and kevlar is terrible for flexibility.
“..and then we returned here.”You shrug, ending the story on a bit of a weak note. Johnny looks pretty excited and in awe, while Felicia and Sue seem rather pensive. Stella heard it al before, but she seems interested to see things from your point of view, so she’s listened pretty attentively. DOOM is rather unreadable behind his mask. Sitting there, you try to remember anything you might be forgetting…“Crap! CARNAGE said something about a father and daughter being murdered in a forest sometime soon after I disappeared! If that’s the case, the main place that could be called a forest around here is Central Park…”Snapping your fingers you let out a curse. “Earlier this we-today, rather, there was a girl and her father. I gave them a wave and the father took some photos of me. If Carnage was focused on me- then maybe there’s some sort of lead so that they can be found before CARNAGE gets to them.“That or I stake out Central Park, but that requires the assumption that he hasn’t already killed them by the point the killer gets there…”The room draws rather quiet. Felicia looks rather bothered bet DOOM nods his head. “DOOM will look into things. You have done enough for one day. Take a day or two to rest, nobody will blame you.”>[ ] No, I’ve got to see things settled myself>[ ] …yeah, alright.>[ ] Write in

>>28724462But having that armor to soak hits we do take will be a huge help. And we can put fancier stuff in armor.I'm not saying an agile costume is bad, just that durable costumes are my preference.
We've put Doom through a lot. He destroyed a time machine for us, even.Let's not leave it up to him.
>>28724477>[ ] No, I’ve got to see things settled myselfGreat responsibility. But if there's any help he can provide, I'm for it.

>>28724358How about a non-symbiote version of Agent Venom's costume? We saw it recently, it would be in Peter's head for possible inspiration. Armor "plates" made of a gelatinous shear-thickening compound, sewn into a bulletproof fabric suit. Lightweight, decent protection, and we can keep the armoring off of the joints so it still gives us a decent amount of flexibility. Plus we can still upgrade it to better forms as we develop better materials.
>>28724537That is to say; team-up.
>>28724477>[ ] No, I’ve got to see things settled myself
I trust Doom to take care of things, but we shouldn't take a break until Carnage is toast.
>[X] No, I’ve got to see things settled myselfBut we would accept help. Seriously, let end carnage right here and now.
>>28724477>>[ ] No, I’ve got to see things settledGotta get to work.>>28724489Someday. But with a better color scheme. It's also pretty agile and has stuff built in to help with agility.
>>28724477>[X] No, I’ve got to see things settled myselfResting after seeing what the world is like without Spiderman? Hahaha no. We have to cut Carnage off right now.
>>28724539The way we fight, we're not going to allow the enemies to hit us at all. That's the point. If you sacrifice mobility for defense all you're doing is crippling our most advantageous ability.
>>28724477>[ ] No, I’ve got to see things settled myselfSorry Doom, this Spider isn't one to take it easy when it could mean people's lives.

>>28724565Not really a fan of black. Red and blue (perhaps yellow as well) is better. Unless of course we take up the Venom symbiote. Then by all means, let's darken this bitch up.
>>28724539The issue is it runs completely counter to how Spider-Man fights. He's an agile fighter with precognitive awareness for dodging.
>>28724622He's in New York, isn't he?We're an engineer, aren't we?
>>28724628I just meant in terms of design, not color. I'd rather keep the current color scheme, too.
>>28724652He's probably still near LA given he's movie-verse Stark.
>>28724477>Write in"Thank you for the offer, but I don't think I could look myself in the mirror if I didn't see this through to the end... There's too much riding here. ... If anyone's up for it; how about we save the future together?"
What do people think of the possibility that carnage is currently after spidy's body? As the first public metahuman it would be easy to imagine him drawing the attention of a symbiote like carnage who wanted to upgrade from a baseline human. Fits future carnage's obsession with a perfect body as well.
>>28724687I like this write-in. It feels very Peter.
>>28724477>[X] No, I’ve got to see thingss settled myself
>>28724652Nope. Malibu. He won't be in New York for a while. Still, we'll meet him eventually. Spider-man meets everyone in the Marvel universe, eventually.
>>28724694But I don't think he is strong enough to beat us yet.
>>28724477What I need to do is change the future. Get New York prepared for the end of the Masquerade. This isn't just about taking care of my own business anymore. This isn't about dealing with an obsessed serial killer. It's about using what I've gained for the world. I saw what the future became without a Spider-Man, so until I've changed that course...I have a responsibility to this city to do whatever I can to save people.Though it wouldn't hurt spending te rest of today with the people who I saw lost. (Hold Felicia's hand) and my family.
>>28724630This.I'm surprised no one can see that maximizing our dodging potential is the most important thing we can do at this point. Putting armor on is honestly a terrible option.Watch this video. When they show footage of the normal suit spiderman, that's what I mean when I say we should employ this type of combat.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7dWG_isUvo>>28724652Tony Stark lives in Malibu, actually.

>>28724755Good question. We've been trying to keep her privacy. But a lot of the Carnage story just doesn't make sense without Gwen being Spider-powered, too. Maybe we were evasive enough to not specifically mention her, just that we figured out Carnage wasn't wearing its original body and why.
>>28724755Gwen the possible Spider-woman or Gwen the Future vampire-clone monster?
>>28724755Good QuestionI'll let you all decide- five minutes, link, number1- everything2- no names or things that could identify3- you didn't say too much on CARNAGE's appearance or identity.
>>287248812Not our secret to tell, though Felicia will probably have figured it out.
>>28724722That wouldn't necessarily stop an insane, psychopathic serial killer from trying. Also, it would explain why he keeps taunting us. He clearly wants him to come after us, and I can't think of a reason other than "crazy attention whoring serial killer" besides body snatching.
>>28724881It's honestly not important right now unless Gwen actually is the Carnage Killer, which is almost guaranteed to not be the case.
>>28724881>2- no names or things that could identify
>>28724938I kind of feel like that vote we made at the start has something to do with Carnage's identity.
>>28724916>>28724919>>28724948>not reading the rulesNice job making your votes not count.
>>28724901>>28724916>>28724919>>28724948Why is PPQ so continuously bad at this?
>Time. Continuing Writing
>>28724996Habit, I suppose.
>>28724938Well, our figuring out Carnage's true nature relied in part on its inconsistencies with what Gwen should remember. So it's a part of the story. Especially the part with the Spider-sense shenanigans, though we could say it just stole ours instead of reactivated Gwen's. So we can probably get away with not mentioning Gwen specifically, since her being Spider-powered is her secret to tell, not ours.
>>28724919Ya she'll probably bring it up later.
>>28725027And with that future at stake I dont think we should hold any information back.
>>28725083ThisThe future WAS FUCKEDWhy HIDE INFO FROM DOOM?BESIDES, GWEN ISN'T THE ORIGINAL. COME ON.
>>28725027>is her secret to tell, not oursWE realy need to talk to her about all of this, spacial about getting in touch with Doom.If I remember correctly Cat doesn't know about her either?
>>28725130They don't know about each others' secret lives, no.
>>28724881Can we say that there is another spider-person without saying that its Gwen?
>>28725130She knows Gwen knows about our powers, she knows Gwen is freakishly strong, she can probably put things together even if we're vague in our description of what future Carnage was like. Felicia's smart, and makes a living out of hiding and obscuring identity.
>>28725185I'm pretty sure 2 covers that.
>>28725027This. We really can't be revealing other people's secret identities. Only our own when we need to.
>>28725185That could work. It would be enough for them to get the gist and feeling of the story without the particulars.>>28725195Felicia heard Gwen discuss spider mutation stuff when she had super cat hearing.

How about we tell Aunt May and Uncle Ben after Carnage is dealt with? It'll make things easier on us. Less danger for them, and with Spider-man having caught the killer there's less for them to be potentially mad about. Other than the "our boy is NOT going to go gallivanting about fighting criminals" thing, obviously.
>>28725515She's our responsibility. We can't just shove another life onto her.
>>28725243>[X] With you. Felicia can help you make an identity and story to give to your aunt and Uncle.
>>28725515I REALLY don't see that going over well.
>>28725536Pretty sure the heart attack was more from Gwen coming back from the dead, her brother in law coming back from the dead, and getting shot at by a bunch of robots outside in combination with finding out who Peter was.And as for the "Get out" thing, how long did that last? Two seconds?
I'm all for coming clean to our family and telling them about Stella. We need to talk to Gwen about everything that happened and prevent her from going to someone to do a DNA test, and ask her where she was thinking of getting one. (if she was going to go to Miles Warren we get to know, WE GET TO KNOW, and that bastard won't be able to clone us) We've got work to do.
>>28725540>You don't make a high school boy living living with a bankrupting famili, being on Oscorp and feds shit-list to take care of a 12 year old half-alien-god after getting her cursed.
>Alright, so doing two votes. Five minutes each, normal rules. Link, number. Vote one-How do you leave?1-Alone, Sue can help Stella and Felicia leave in secret- they can stay at her place. You have work to do.2-As Peter Parker, along with Felicia and Stella
Well hopefully DOOM will be giving us support.
>>28725596So really there is no right answer, so lets go with the answer that has the most power for helping to instill a moral compass and good foundation in Stella, the power of family.
>>28725596You do if he Fucking decides to pull her out of the future.
>>28725596Peter chose to take care of her, dumbass. No one's making him do anything. Stop being an idiot and let's go get a job to support our family instead of pawning the girl off on someone else.
>>28725632After getting Felicia cursed. Not Stella.>>28725635We're still in highschool. We have no time for a job except for tutoring. And lucky us, Flash needs one.
WE GOT WORK TO DOAKA CARNAGE, IT TIME TO END ONE PART OF THE BAD FUTURE
"Oh yeah, before I go, here you go Felicia. An almanac with the next 20 years of sports outcomes. I'm sure you can do something with that, right?"
>>28725673...We know.>>28725680Heheh... you know she'd make a lot better use of that than us.We ought to warn her it might not be accurate after a couple weeks due to the butterfly effect though.
>>28725670Peter did the Bugle thing as a high schooler. All it consists of his taking pictures of himself as he crime fights, anyway. Doesn't really mess up the schedule.
>>28725670Maybe you should have considered that before bringing her back, you dildo
Could we get loki to pay child support
Oh yeah, guys we finished the Future Arc and the Cursed Arc. What are we asking Cosgrove?
>>28725711Or we could have knowingly consigned her to nonexistence?Besides we also have a letter to give Herr Doktor later.
>>28725680Just how would it change.
>>28725670>We're still in highschool. This is why i think Doom is best option to let take Stella. Being like top of the smartest people on planet he dose know stuff about Cloning/Asgardians/Magic more than Peter will ever learn in his life
>>28725744Butterfly effect. Different things happen. For example we stop the murder of the girl and her Dad and catch Carnage leads to higher morale and NYC wins a sports game they lost in the other timeline.

>>28725761This is about taking care of a kid. Not that.
>>28725743Yeah, we could have. But you didn't, so YOU take responsibility. Not Felicia
>>28725744Did you mean to reply to >>28725701 ?Basically, any change we make has repercussions in the causal sense. As time goes on, even the most minor changes (us merely existing) makes large changes.
>>28725711>Alright. Vote 1 done. Vote 2- Took the three options that got votes. Vote 1 means that you reveal that you're Spider-man for better or worse to your Aunt and Uncle and you'll probably have to explain things for Stella, this is info I am giving here and now- you have been warned.Where should Stella go? 1- With you. Maybe it’s for the best you come clean with your family2-With you. Felicia can help you make an identity and story to give to your aunt and Uncle.3- Maybe Felicia?
>>28725787I want to, I also want to come clean about our extra cirriculars to Aunt May and Uncle Ben, and introduce them to Felicia, and introduce them to our time displaced responsibility.
>>28725744In this future somebody cold be distracted by spidey-butt making them loosing in whatever sport they were doing thus changing the outcome of almanac
>>28725243>[X] With you. Maybe it’s for the best you come clean with your family>[X] Alone, Sue can help Stella and Felicia leave in secret- they can stay at her place. You have work to do.

>>28725911It'd be irresponsible to keep them in the dark
>>28725940I just hope you know what you're getting us into.
>>28725911 well its probable just >muh feels, and >muh morality
Looking at the Story Arc DatabaseThat ?????? in Shield we have checked off...we're on their radar now, so to speak, aren't we.
>>28725805Why in the Stan Lee's name are you guys are thinking. Why is telling them your spider man is a good idea.
>>28725940I don't think you understand how much trouble you're getting us into. First of all, being Spider-Man doesn't explain Stella AT ALL
>>28725911The danger isn't increased unless they can't keep a secret.
>>28726001Shoulda thought about that before you bought her back.
>>28725988 I think that a good part of /tg/ dont read the SM comics and they don't know that usually people without powers die after telling them about true identity
>>28725940It's not being irresponsiable, we'e going to end up telling them how we got our powers, stella, DOOM.Just for some feels, this is stupid...
>>28725973This situation has a lot of moral ambiguity.>>28726001This.HOW WILL WE EXPLAIN STELLA??Are you idiots ever considering that? At least with the ID forging option there's SOME thought put in.>>28726023Go fuck yourself. the 2 option actually addresses that, but NOOOO, you had to wave your self-righteous dick around.
>>28725949Does >>28725841 count? Because otherwise I think we tied.
>>28726001>>28726057"I also went to the future and picked Stella up"
>>28726037>Comic logic>Ben isn't dead or GwenGwen got spider powersAnd we bro with DOOM.
>>28726048>Just for some feels, this is stupid... im feeling like on /v/ troll quest....except people do not do stupid shit for trolling
>>28726060It does not count by Cosgrove's rules.
>>28726023>>28726057DOn't tell me people are butthurt on that issue,She will cease to exist if we didn't. Tell uncle ben and aunt may will probably bring them in danger.Or worse if Uncle Ben's a Shield agent or something
>>28726023>>28726067This has nothing to do with bringing her back. This has to do with being Spider-Man not actually having anything to do with addressing Stella as someone we can take care of or where she came from. We can prove we're Spider-Man, we can't prove she's from the future. She is going to need a fucking fake identity anyway to get adopted or to actually be a believable thing that exists. Saying we're Spider-Man is entirely pointless.
>>28726037Gwen Stacy is still alive, Mary Jane Watson is an unhygienic shut-in and DOOM is practically a superhero. Why oh why do you think applying normal spiderlogic to this quest is a good idea?
>>28726067Oh yeah. That clears up EVERYTHING.Want to tell them about everything that led up to that? Including magic cat statues? Thanks.
>>28726082Well fuck me sideways for accidentally tapping enter.
>>28726115Because we haven't faced the green goblin, Mary Jane is weird like that. and DOOM has always's been a hero it's just that Reed Richards is a dick.
>>28726082...I think 1 and 2 both got thirteen votes, then. I may be wrong.>>28726114Future gameboy with future Pokémon and a future sports almanac.
>>28726114This.Stella is going to need a fake identity regardless of whether or not we tell our family we're Spider-Man, which is honestly not the smartest thing to do.
>>28726116We can climb fucking walls ajd Stella can make illusions. We also got super strength.DEAL with IT.
>>28726114Then you shouldn't Fucking bring her back. I don't care if you wanted to leave her or take her, but you did bring her, andiit makes it his responsibility. Why should it be Felicias
>>28726170Right, which is why we also need to set up our patents and start doing the science on the side.
>>28726170What are you fucking talking about. I voted 2.Which was to get Stella a damn fake ID and a cover story so we don't have to address the Spider-Man thing at all.
>>28726170Agreed, it wouldn't even fit Peter as presented in story. He formed a connection with her and views her as a sister. He would not pass her off the first chance he got.
>>28726166No. You deal with the fact that you're going to send our Aunt and Uncle to an early grave due to your misplaced self-righteousness. There is a place for honesty and a place for falsehood.
>>28726197That's not fair for them. Our vigilantism puts them in danger. They deserve to know, the sooner the better
You glance over at Sue and Felicia. “Sue, could you get Felicia and Stella out of here in secret? I have some work I need to do. I’ll meet up with you two later, alright? Be sure to grab my bag, please.”Sue nods but as she looks at you, it’s almost like she’s staring past you and Felicia. Stella looks over at Felicia nervously before nodding. Felicia stares at you for a long moment. “..Alright, but we’re going to have to talk later.”You nod as you ruffle Stella’s hair as you put on your mask and head towards the window. As you head out into the evening, seeing the sky clear, you pause and stare for a moment. You take a deep breath and exhale. And then you’re off.The first place you think of going is Central Park- it’d probably easy to scout it out at night. Maybe you’ll get luck and see the killer skulking around, scouting out where to put their ‘masterpiece.’ As you swing around, you notice there seems to be several police cars headed somewhere.>[ ] Follow, investigate>[ ] Keep heading to the Park

>>28726247>Keep heading to the parkWe haven't been called out and there isn't anything suggesting Hobgoblin, so it's probably either something they can handle or something that it's too late to stop. CARNAGE takes priority.
Hey, we could spend a spec point to ask Cos' advice. Because it could really go either way here.
This has got to be the most divided PPQ thread I have ever seen. This is so tense.
>>28726372...We still have that question.
>>28726247>[ ] Follow, investigate
>>28726372That's true. Spec points can be spent for that. Let's go for it.
>>28726247Keep Heading to the Park.It could very well be a deliberate distraction. The info we have identifies the park, and honestly, it's rather unlikely that the police are going to lead us to Carnage given that he wasn't caught in the futiure (unless it's a case of 'they found the killer but couldn't catch him'. I'm willing to risk that being the case, because he doesn't have super powers or anything).
>>28726372>>28726385Good thinking. How about it? Should we spend that end of arc question on this decision?
>>28726399>The info we have identifies the parkActually, it identifies "The woods"
>>28726247>[X] Keep heading to the ParkI'm going to laugh if it turns out the cops are going towards Uncle Ben
>>28726372>>28726385I can get behind one of these.
>>28726399That's... actually a very good point. The police DON'T catch Carnage unless we intervene. We know for a fact that they will not.>>28726421Don't even.
>>28726408Can we use it that way though?>>28726329Also, anon is right, what is up with Sue?
>>28726408>>28726393SP can be used for advice or hints. End of Arcs can ask about setting or details, or other such things, but they cannot be used for spoilers- that is an ironclad rule.
>>28726441dammit...Stop making me so tense!
USE THE QUESTIONFOR REALSOR THE SP POINT
>>28726434But if we go with the cops, we could catch Carnage by that logic. While if we go to the park, he may just be dumping the bodies he already gutted.
>>28726441WAIT WE HAVE AN ARC END QUESTIONAHAHAHAHHAHAAH
>>28726441how about both at once?
>>28726441Can we use an End of Arc question to ask who Alice was? Or is that a Spoiler?

>>28726441>End of Arcs>WoodsIs there anything that could be identified as woods/forest/park in the direction that cops headed?
>>28726441Can we spend an SP to get a better understanding of how Carnage would carry out his murder? For instance, would he perform the killing at the park or just display the bodies there?
>>28726468Who doe we use this end of Arc Query on? hmmm...>>28726480Yeah, let's ask our end of Arc Question and spend a spec for Advise about which choice to make here.
>>28726399>>28726418Actually it's "I made a great forest piece" which could also mean our neighborhood, Forest Hills, Queens.
>>28726496...Yeah, I'm not opposed to spending it. Wait, how much PL do we have?
>>28726480Holy crap, this is an option.
>>28726507This. If he's just going to dump the bodies, going to the park is going to be pointless because finding him there will mean it's already too late.
>>28726536While I agree it's not optimal, it's far from pointless. We could still stop him there.
>>287265223But carnage needs to be stop before it goes straight to maximum. We saw maximum.Cosgrove told us it be worse than joker quest. That pretty fucking bad
>>28726536If that's the case, then following the police would be pointless as well.If he's murdering them in a completely different place, then we will never find him before he kills them. Only after.... But then we can still catch him.
>>28726560Anya and her dad would already be dead. I'm saying he might kill them somewhere private and then transport them there for display.
>Alright, so do you want to use a SP for advice?>y/n
>>28726584I know, and I'm saying despite not being able to save them, we can still defeat Carnage at the park and stop any future murders.>>28726590And the end of arc question
>>28726536Going to the park is pointless anyway. We don't know when the murder takes place and the park is fucking huge. It's like fifty blocks long.

>>28726680I second this, but we might want to wait to use that quesition till after the session tonight?

>>28726842...cosgrove wouldn't do that.He not that kind of guy.
Since we're prioritizing the murder stopping. Remember we have Spider Tracers in case Carnage gets away.

>>28726892>Actually, I am willing to bet that Doom came back to New York not just for Sue, but because he wanted to settle things with Richards, he was probably on course to become the, not quite Super Villain, antagonist to Reed in the very near future, perhaps having spent time plotting his revenge for the scars on his face...but no, now he knows how that will end, he has seen the ultimate expression of that escalation. ah, upupupupupupupupupu, you want to know how to prevent the murders, eh?~well, it is still possible. however, don’t you think you’re going about things the wrong way? trying to catch a killer at the scene of the crime before the crime even occurs? seems like a way to watch a murder be committed!~now, if /i/ wanted to stop these murders… well i’d find the victims- warning them would keep them safe, as carnage wouldn’t be able to strike- it might be suspicious that they’re already wary and go into hiding. but if you followed them, maybe you’d be able to catch the killer in time?~but, of course, you’d be on the knifes edge, upupupupupupupupu~oh, and you shouldn’t put so much strain on your aunt and uncle, you never know when their health might give out!as for miss storm, she might’ve been looking at the two of you… but was she looking at -the two of you-?as for the police and forest, you never know where they’re heading. and who knows, maybe carnage is there.one last note- does anybody notice something weird about this message?~see if you can’t figure it out, upupupupupupupupupupupupupu>byebye, everybody~>cosgrove restored

From the way I see things, the smartest option is to find the family, then arrange for as many heroes as possible to hang around.

>>28727094Anyone know if there's anything/location that could go by the nickname "knife's edge" in central park?
....Has there been any marvel universe where Richard not being a dick. Or a possibility that Richard won't be a douch? Like in 217?
Guys, first we should be trying to see what the secret message is. It's probably more important than anything else he said.
>>28727228Woah, woah, let's not jump to conclusions here. She's married, and we still need to set her and Reed up with some counselling.
>>28727228Not at all. So donig puzzles for people is useless- here's the straight advice.Neither way have great odds of catching the killer unless the murders are already in progress- the best way to prevent the murders (which is the advice voted on) is to identify and locate the family- using the fact the father took pictures of spider-man in central park as your clue.I think I'll remove the hint option in the future.
>>28727245There is also the /i/ there, might be part of the hint, like taking out the is and using the captial letters?
>>28727238We don't have a name. We have no idea what their name is. All we know is that they took a picture of us waving at them. And we already suggested looking on social media, I don't know why we didn't wind up doing that, everyone who voted for immediately rushing out to stop Carnage is an idiot.
>>28727204Shit.Ok, first, no caps, no periods.Only commas and dashes.Second is all the upupupup bullshitl what up with that.SERIOUS TIME! LET BREWK THE PUZZLE
>>28727094>maybe first letters form someting?>awnaboaaos (reverse) so a aobanwaShit this is not what I expected from spending a literally a live saving point
>>28727228Or the Felicia C.
>>28727272Yea, i think that's for the best Cosgorve
>>28727272Please do, it's not worth it.
>>28727094No capitals... so no capital offenders. All lower caseNo uppersUpper classmenUpper... grown...The person we're looking for is not an adult.
We could try swapping places with the victim, you know.
>>28727272But we already know that four thread in past!
>>28727272Was there anything hidden in the message though? or was that just a red herring
>>28727094The middle rows don't have a squiggly thing after them. ~Is that relevant? Maybe!
>>28727317No, there were several, but one of them was actually riddled out.
>>28727144>>28727144No, there is something more there. It isn't useless.I think >>28727131 has the right of it, there is a reason...there is a hidden hint. Did you expect him to hand us the answer on a silver platter. Come on guys, it is time to think. There is a cypher or a hidden clue here.Okay I have tried to post this 5 times in the last few minutes and have kept getting a connection error.
Okay, so we should go back to the embassy and get help from DOOM to track down the family? Why the hell did we even spring into action in the first place without doing this beforehand?
>>28727272Probably wise as I think we were reading more into the information you chose to share, mainly as a result of it being presented in the form of a puzzle. Thanks for the attempt at providing logical advice on how to go about this though.
>>28727272Doing unproofed riddles is generally a bad idea. Remember how easy it is for readers to miss what you think is obvious when you are trying to be straightforward.
>>28727272I suppose /tg/ isn't the most clever board after all.
>>28727300>lowercase theory stuffOr it's going to happen under ground or below something of note?
>>28727377Give me something math/programing riddle and I will crack it up in secondsGive me some literature/art riddle and I could spend years and not understand a thing
>So, would you like to1- continue to park2- follow police3- head back to Felicia's?five minutes
WAIT A MINUTE, MONOBEAR DOESNT WANT TO STOP MURDERSDO THE THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT HE SAID
Seriously, just google "spider-man central park" If those pictures are online(which they'd have to be for Carnage to know the two) they'll come up.
>>28727094It says knifes edge, not knife's edge. Could this be a thing?
>knife's edge>lower caseDo the victims live in Lower Manhattan?
God dammit guys, we know they got targeted because of the pictures they took - THEY'RE ON THE FREAKIN' INTERNET! LOOK UP OUR PICTURE, FIND THE PERSON WHO POSTED IT, GO HELP THEM!Christ, the shit I walk in on...
>>28727421>2- follow police
>>28727431Cosgrove already gave us the straight answer.
STOP VOTING TO STAY IN THE PARK!Are you guys fucking serious? That's the exact opposite of what the advice was.You guys are just going to let Carnage get away.
ALL I KNOW IS THAT I WANT OFF COSGROVE'S WILD RIDE
>>28727399Maybe, but given what your quoting ends in a 'u', I'm guessing that's how the demon bear laughs...don't play the game (yet, Cosgrove's just convinced me to pick up a used copy of whatever that things from just so I can get his references) so damn if I know. Also, anyone on the board what to tryout morse code on the punctuation? Pretty sure it's irrelevant but that's the last thing I've got...
>>28727481Well, I don't know why we fucking ran out of the embassy. We should have stayed and had Doom's assistance.
I have a feeling that one of the victims is the killer, hence we'd be on the knife's edge if we followed him and also why it would spook the killer if we told that to the victims.
>>28727481WHY ISN'T THIS OPTION APPEARING COSGROVEWE'VE ONLY SAID THAT THIS IS WHAT WE'VE WANTED TO DO ABOUT FIFTY TIMES IN THE LAST TWO THREADS
>>28727515THIS.COS WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO US??
>>28727504Monobear, wanting to stop murders? And you're listening to his advice?Hahahahahaha.
>>28727533So neither Sue, nor Johnny, nor Felicia, nor DOCTOR DOOM have an internet connection?
>>28727515Because you don't have access to the internet and decided to go out as Spider-man on the prowl. It immediately becomes an option- when it is actually possible.
>>28727533We totally need to do a scene of spider-man stopping by a cybercafe.
>>28727515This is basically what '3' is. We go back and regroup/replan and take a different tack.
>>28727539Read >>28727272>"Here's the straight advice"As in, no opposite bullshit.
>>28727512>Well, I don't know why we fucking ran out of the embassy. >why did we choose to take an homeless demigod-clone to our hose even when our family don't have any resources for it>why did we use public telephone as spiderman when we could take our mask off and call Doom as Peter without feds knowlage?>Why /tg/ is bad at logic?
>>28727562So DOOM doesn't keep an internet connection in the embassy?>>28727563Actually, wait.Lets do this. I want to see this.
>>28727560How would we reach them without rushing back and looking retarded? option 3.
I'm not even voting in this one. None of the options seem right.
>>28727560How would they contact us.Don't forget, SHIELD probably still wants to talk with us about the Storms' disappearances, and we really don't have time to deal with them right now so pay phones are out.
>>28727590>It immediately becomes an option- when it is actually possible. It should have been an option right away.
>>28727094>as for miss storm, she might’ve been looking at the two of you… but was she looking at -the two of you-?It seems that we brought back another hitchhiker.
>>28727586I don't know.We were never given an option to do that. It was either>Let DOOM handle itor>Go out blindly like a retardAsking to use DOOM's fucking laptop wasn't even an option.
Ugh. Just fucking throw a tracer on the police cars. Stop by an internet cafe. Find out where they live, check up on them, and then check on the police cars.
>>28727640This. We've got the tracers, lets use 'em.
>>28727640This for the love of god.
>>28727640Poor range on trackers
>>28727629We had the option to exit the fucking building as Peter Parker and go to Felicias to look this shit up right away.
>Writing.>>28727589There was not a computer in his office and nobody asked to see if DOOM had one they could use. He was at his desk doing paperwork when you came back.As for Johnny and Sue- no they had no access to internet.Remember why they are in DOOM's office in the first place. It has only been a few hours as well.>I'm going to go get a drink, then continue writing
>>28727684>>I'm going to go get a drinkYou're not the only one...
>>28727629>Asking to use DOOM's fucking laptop wasn't even an option.Cos I think doing 4/5 PPQ in a row is bad for your imagination, plz take a short vacation and comeback plz
>>28727624Do you want to know why?I'll tell you guys out of story. I will, but if I do I'm done for the night.
>>28727684Sorry for all the shit Cosgrove.
>>28727684>There was not a computer in his office>There was not a computer in his officeHe has a time machine. But no computer with internet.
>>28727706I'm fine continuing on and just insisting we get our blood double checked when we get the chance.
>>28727640Can we please do this?
>>28727684It didn't occur to us from the beginning and it's not your job to spoon-feed us the right answer. Sorry if this is getting out of hand.
>>28727724...maybe the only computer with internet is the one build in his armour?
>>28727624>>28727706Oh god.SHE WAS LOOKING AT STELLABECAUSE SHE SORTA RECOGNIZED HER/BECAUSE SHE'S MET LOKI/
>>28727708I think this is the thing with monobear. As soon as that shows up, there's a profound negative reaction. "Oh God GM's gonna fuck us" becomes everybody's first thought and the vitriol comes out.
>>28727742Jesus fucking christ, we just told her her ex/maybe boyfriend blew up a country. She was just out of it.
...why is everybody freaking out?MST3K Mantra people.
>>28727761How would she have met Loki?I thought he was still in Midgard now
>>28727706I'd rather not, then. I really want to play tonight.Sorry if we're being frustrating at the moment. You have us so hooked and interested in the outcome of the quest that we're getting mad at everything.
>>28727746>It didn't occur to us from the beginningYes it fucking didIt occured to us at the END OF LAST THREADNot even giving us the option to do what we'd already planned to do then blaming us for not trying to do the research is bullshit.
>>28727704I have to agree. Everyone's tensions are high and stuff. Also, I think everyone is pissed because we were talking about searching the internet but we only ended running off half-cocked instead. I think Cos should just let it rest for a few days.
>>28727746Our biggest problem is we seem to have a group of idiots who go off half cocked at everything and samefag votes to get their way. Also, Cos. No offense but /tg/is super shit at riddles. If hint does stay, it should probably end up more a common sense thing instead if puzzles.
Clearly we've gotten a little out of hand and frustrated the QM.Let's just go to Felicia's, use her computer, find the family, and stop this madman.
Ah, here's where we went wrong>>28725243>How do you leave>> [ ] Alone...>> [ ] As Peter Parker...>> [ ] Write inI think we needed to do the Write In and as Doom for a computer w/ internet. Maybe get a second for Johnny/Sue/Felicia to help with the web search.I'm thinking Cos intentionally excludes the optimal option a lot of the time.
>>28727804Honestly, I found the votes confusing. I thought we were picking to keep investigating over turning in. Instead we ran out to look around with no info like an idiot.
>>28727819Hint's a super cop out options. If the GM was going to help, he would. Trying to force without ruining his plans is nonsense.
>>28727684Sorry cosgrove.Just well....maximum carnage man. That future.Peter already getting PTSD shitStill, sorry for all of this stress.
>>28727831The problem with that is that it heavily implies that our only option is to leave, and any writeins would be on how to leave.
>>28727804We could also all just take a few deep breaths and talk about something else for a minute, like who our favorite spider-man villains are.I've always been partial to Eddie Brock's Venom when I was a kid; but now I greatly enjoy the modern Norman Osborn both in Comics and the Spectacular Animated version.
>>28727831I think also it was because a lot of people were writing in some responses that were saying we wanted to still handle this but we were willing to accept help.
>>28727761No. STELLA was wearing an illusion of us maybe? But Sue definitely hasn't met Loki yet.
>>28727850No, because he's the gm. He can't help us outright. However it's fair to give hints in exchange for a resource, such as SP, which refill rarely and force us to choose between a hint and saving them for a fight or reducing PL.Which is why I and a few other people have been pushing for the upgrade, so we have more to work with.
>>28727802sorry, I should've clarified: we didn't knuckle down and get it right from the beginning. Cuz you know, that's what you do when you claim you have a plan. So apparently we all forgot, which is just as bad.>>28727819I guess. The half-cocked thing has probably happened before.
>>28727897I like Mysterio, too bad no new comics are doing anything about him :(
>>28727897I really enjoyed the version of Sandman that was in Spiderman 3.
>>28727913How do you know?Who's saying that he isn't already operating on earth?
>>28727836This.I picked an option that turned out to not be what I thought it was, only to waste an SP on advice to tell us to do the thing I wanted to do in the first place. I'm understandably a little upset.
Page 7 and already on autosagereally hot blooded tonight...
>>28727831This man gets it. A shame that only hindsight is 20/20
>>28727897Superior Spider-Man's been convincing me to lean towards Doc Ock.
>>28727935Yeah...616 Mysterio might go down with...wait, did you read Amazing Spider-Men? Mysterio plays a critical villain roll; and it explains his otherwise disappearance from the narrative.
>>28727949Wait, really? Now I REALLY feel bad.
>>28727897Old school it was Lizard; as of his appearance in Thunderbolts; Norman Osborn.
>>28727949Crap Crap Crap.Guess we need a new thread already.
>>28727984Can we just let this one die and pretend tonight never happened?
>>28727964no I havent, can you spoonfeed me few details(in spoiler ofcource)?
Maybe we should just call this thread a wash. No archiving of it or anything and then just start from last thread again on Tuesday.
>>28727949Uh, you only get to pages that low when you're on autosage. Better metric would be 3 hours and already on page 7.
>>28727953Superior has made me revisit some old Ock stories myself, especially the 90's, like when Stunner was introduced...then they replaced him during Ben's Spidey Tenure with the purple haired woman who was also some kinda Ock suprer hacker.>>28727937I always like the reluctant villain angle, but this version didn't really strike me. Adding his connection to Parker's past didn't increase his purpose and that movie just felt way to dense and forced...action was fun...but it didn't sit well with me.
>>28727993>>28728007That's up to Cosgrove.
>>28728007I'd rather we just take ownership of this clusterfuck, learn from it, and try to get back on track.
>>28727945>>28727836I think that this is basically why people are so pissed off.
>>28728006 So, Mysterio found some super tech, and opened a portal to another reality, there he set up shop with a remote controlled robot as the Mysterio of that world, it was the Ultimate Universe. Mysterio in the Ultimate U was 616 Mysterio remote controlling a robot and being a big fish in a smaller pond, until Spidey fell into the hole and had adventures with Miles and put real mysterio behind bars in Ult u
So, and I admit I haven't read through all the comments, who else thinks the "Pick one" option from >>28723501 is us picking Carnage (the symbiotic that clearly bonded a sliver of itself to to us/Stella temporarily in the dead future) next host?
>>28727897Kraven, strangely enough. Macho man hunting down the best? Russian exile with dark past? Very cool.
>>28728061Don't forget Galactus just recently came right through that portal to the Ultimate universe
>>28727983Oh man, Norman's rampage through the mountain was GLORIOUS
>>28727802You know I have this little option here- It's called >Write in.I put it there almost EVERY time. You wanted to use the computer or ask?>WRITE IT FUCKING INI'm not perfect so if my option doesn't appeal to you, then >WRITE IN what you'd prefer to do.You could have headed back to Felicia's and done it, or asked DOOM if he had a computer you could use, or a number of things.Do you want to know why I had this there? Do you want me to spill out every subtle thing?HERE->Sue nods but as she looks at you, it’s almost like she’s staring past you and Felicia. Before you headed off, she saw you were devoted to being a good boyfriend and cared about Felicia, but now you're single minded going half-cocked into solving things immediately without taking a moment to rest, cool down or spend time with the girlfriend you risked everything to save, having her take this child you brought back with you to her home, because -there's something more important- She's seeing HER and REED RICHARDS now instead- And yes, you might say 'but the importance of our story to them should clue them in.' And it does- but you just arrived form the future- you're tired, filthy and rather worn-looking and you're immediately heading out- Sue understands how important it is, but she can't help but unconsciously compare.I'm going to do something for a half hour. I'll see if I feel better then.
>>28728093Now I feel like crap...Sorry, Cos.
>>287280930__0Guyswhy are we complaining that we always forget to bring up plans from earlier threads?
>>28728093Do so and feel better, Cosgrove, this has been a rather intense night; and I apologize if I have contributed to that.
>>28728093I blame the players for being stupid, not you. If it makes you feel any better. I enjoy your quest cosgrove
>>28728077Yeah, I figured that when the future Carnage was saying "what I've been forced to resort to." Or something like that.>>28728093Take all the time you need man.
>>28728136We really do, like, all the time. It's kind of strange that it keeps happening.
>>28728061oh, I think I mighty see few pages of that on /co/>>28728087Love it>>28728093 but now you're single minded going half-cocked into solving things immediately without taking a moment to restThank you, I was saying the same thing to all other anons since first the meeting with Doom
>>28728093Thank a lot anon. You know who you are.I hope you feel better cosgrove. We talk about what we should do in the last thread and we didn't use the write in.That our fault.
How many threads into BQ was it before it started to wear on Cosgrove like this obviously is?There's something of a pattern forming.
>>28728093>No Peter, you are the Ritchardshurm...>>28728093I just got in, but sorry for being a shitlord. Take it easy and hopefully things get better. The steaks are high and passions are flaring. You know how /tg/ gets when the chips are down like this. No move is ever good enough for them. Us. Whoever.
>>28728093Well, shit. We've just been compared to Reed Richards.I'm glad going back to Felicia's won out. Because that is the last person I want to be compared to.How about we apologize for this when we head back?
>>28728162People who had left the last thread early showing up first, maybe?Or just that we're forgetful, and we remember earlier discussions too late?
>>28728093>It immediately becomes an option- when it is actually possible. So what about this, then?
>>28728162>We really do, like, all the time. It's kind of strange that it keeps happening.Well it wouldn't happen if the bad options where not pushed by samefags to just see what happen if Peter goes full retard
>>28728172Well we exploded during the Zangetsu reformation period and caused a week long or so hiatus. Cosgrove is still picking up the pieces.
Now what. How are we going to amend this particular fuck-up? We've pissed off Cosgrove because we didn't use the Write In option to detail the plan we had last thread. Now what?I don't want the ride to end. Not like this.
>>28728196That is such a common problem in so many quests I follow. It makes me sad.
>>28728093Sorry, man.Must be a rough night for you and we kind of made it worse.
>>28728172the same thing thing that happens with a lot of quests, retards swarm it and ruin or nearly ruin it and the QM either drops the quest or soldiers on
>>28728221Then quests get a bit too methodical if you don't go off the rails once in a while. Are we archiving this one, or letting it slide off?
>>28728194I usually have work when the thread starts or I'm doing other stuff and am not around otherwise I know I'd bring it up. Maybe we just need someone who knows they will be around to try to remember to be the voice of reason.
>>28728093I wanted to cool down, but now's not the time for that. We can cool down after Saving those two, but surely she understands that two lives are in danger. She's right though, isn't she?
>>28728093So we either just made her nastolgic for Reed, or (more likely) she's going to have a /talk/ with Felicia and sow seeds of doubt about our long term prospects. Yeah, had not even considered that...should have, but didn't.Man, I don't think we have enough time to fix this now.
>>28728215We picked to go back to Felicia's. I say we justify it as coming to our senses, and we apologize for running off like that.
>>28727836This.Like I'm pretty sure everyone was picking "superhero team-up" not "must do everything myself"
If Cosgrove decides to keep going we should sit down and decompress for a bit at Felicia's before working to find the pic and the family from it. IC Peter hasn't had a chance to sit and just relax a bit since before we went to the future. Sure there was that time in the truck, be that had the whole 'The future is SHIT' hanging over it. Also apologizing to Felicia for swinging off as well
>>28728093To be fair, spending a week in a post apoc hell future does that. The fact that "this is what happens if you don't stop carnage ASAP!" Has been burned into our mind pretty hard. And then a lot if us feel the plot threads are getting too rapid, so we feel we don't have TIME to take a break. We've got to do six things and save our friends. This is also the reason a number of us wanted to prank. To lighten the mood and try to burn off some of the pressure. But the "always serious and grim" crowd samefagged that vote so hard, we never got to drop the tension.Anyways I hope this doesn't kill PPQ Cos. I enjoy it.
>>28728093You're right, Cosgrove. I can't speak for anybody else, but I'm really sorry. I like this quest and it really brings me into it and because of that I worry about messing up and stress out and I guess I wind up dumping the stress onto the chat. That's my problem though, it shouldn't be yours.
Seeing the common problem of having tards swarm quests clearly we need a containment quest for the retards to release their idiocy upon. We used to have that blatant fetish quest for all the idiots.
>>28728093I think that would have made quite a good in-character reveal - Sort of a 'What the fuck, Peter?' moment delivered by Sue in reaction to the perceived changes between leaving for the future and coming back.Shame we had to go and ruin it
>>28728268This. We chose to go back. We can still salvage this.
>>28728268Agreed. She's been more of a partner to us than anything. We need her help here.
Why didn't we just specify that we're going with the plan we thought of in the last thread...?This could all have been easily avoided.>>28728265Fuck.>>28728278Yeah, we really didn't think we'd be looking for Carnage immediately. We thought we were going to Felicia's to use the computer.I really just... I'm so confused.
>>28728195because as there was no VISIBLE FUCKING COMPUTER Peter didn't go 'can I use your computer.' Nor did anybody >WRITE IN>Can we see a 'computer, DOOM'As such there is no visible computer- not currently an option. But the moment he sees one 'BAM- Look computer, maybe I should try to see if I can't find those people. Peter has also been in better shape than he is now. He has a decent chunk of his blood drained, too. But I was -also- because people wanted to know about XP- trying to give a chance for downtime so people could USE it- heading
>>28728260You guys could of sent DOOM after them, but...Yeah, we really are running on PTSD fumes.
>>28728278Agreed. I thought we were taking Doom up on his offer to lend a hand, but insisting we come along to see it done ourselves.Still, spilled milk. We should have clarified. Let's try and talk to people now?
>>28728268I agree, and while I know it might be like Richards, we don't have leisure time right now. We need to save the family ASAP, then take a break. We can hunt carnage later, maybe let DOOM do some investigating while we take a well-deserved vacation>>28728318I already wanted to do that, but after we confirmed the safety of the family
>>28728313Cos, can we please just go to Felicia's and keep going with our plan we had in the last thread? Please? I'm really sorry about this. You shouldn't have to deal with our shit when we're all just having fun.
>>28728268You know what? I agree with this. Also see if we can get back up (preferably Stella because ILLUSIONS, though I admit we probably shouldn't expose her to the trauma of Carnage at age 12. Then again the future was pretty damn fucked up.) because we probably need it.
>>28728268Well, our response was somewhat in character - After seeing how fucking awful the future is, Peter would almost certainly rush off without a plan to try to fix it.But we chose it for entirely the wrong reasons and then chose to get mad instead of considering what we were doing, and then directed that rage at Cosgrove for some reason.
>>28728215Start using write-ins more.
>>28728307Because everyone forgot about the plan, even me, and I helped iron it out.Oops.
>>28728268Go with this. We're running on PTSD fumes, are feeling the weight of our responsibilities a bit too much, and are making bad decisions because of it.
>>28727094Fuck, I can't help but go back to this. Due to the placement of the upups I feel that it has something to do with the words they've been placed with. Maybe an anagram of ah, edge and out? This is hurting my autism.
>>28728342>>28728340Yeah. We need to apologize to Felicia. Like, really. We've been a baaaaad bf.
>>28728337Agreed, we should go to Felicia's...though we have all these Police cars going toward something.
>>28728332>I already wanted to do that, but after we confirmed the safety of the familyWhat, you don't trust Doom?Stop setting the nails and crucifix, please.
>>28728313I'm really sorry, the bad future arc just instilled a crushing sense of urgency into me, like if we didn't go out and fix EVERYTHING the very second we got back, it would all turn to shit.
>>28728374The police can handle things without Spider-Man for one night. We're half dead and have people we need to spend time with.
>>28728313That is actually a pretty useful look at how you come up with action trees. Thank you for the insight.
>>28728313Okay, but what about>No, I’ve got to see things settled myselfIt's clear that you meant that to be "pull a Batman style MY CITY" bullshit, but pretty much everyone who fucking voted for the option instead didn't mean "only myself", but working with the allies we had readily available.
>>28728384Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry.Maybe we can swing by DOOMs again and take him up on his offer, then go spend some time with Felicia
>>28728385I felt that too. It's like, if we don't stop Carnage right now, BAD END quest over gg no re.

>>28728369Bad BF? Dude we just went into a post apocalyptic and risked our lives multiple times to stop her from becoming a cat. That's a pretty good BF.
>>28728444Yeah, that was a misunderstanding of things on our end. We should have used the write-in and been all like, "This really needs to be done now and I feel kind of responsible and want to see it through but you help would be highly appreciated."
>>28728318This. We need to crash in the middle of our efforts, literally pushing ourselves too far, waking up far too late to have anything. Meanwhile, DOOM, in his great worldliness and wisdom, foresees this and does his thing anyway, saving the would-be victims. We then wake up to a much-needed intervention.>"...I-I... I'm not sure I can do this guys... I'm just one Spider-man.">"Foolish Man of Spiders! If you cannot do this alone, then why would you even think to try? DOOM would not presume to speak on behalf of others, but so long as your path remains true, you shall have the support of DOOM! Let all who claim a stake in their own future lend their aid - SO SAYETH DOOM!"
>>28728478Not good enough.
>>28728413Alright. That also can be EASILY explained. DOOM wanted you to fucking rest. DOOM. He wasn't going to command you so when you went 'Nah, I'll take care of it' DOOM didn't interfere because if DOOM was offered to rest and said no 'I've got to see to it myself' it means that DOOM was going to see to it HIMSELF.He also would have a much harder time using his subtle assets with you swinging around in costume, but DOOM wasn't going to sit and explain this to you.Johnny and Sue can't leave. Felicia's not wanting to do anything but go home and spend time with you. Stella's 11-12 and she can't keep up with you safely- she could try but if she screws up she'd probably die.So what help exactly?

Right then.First off: General apology to Cos for the shit storm of this thread. You rock as a GM, and give us free entertainment when you don't have too.Second off: in-case it isn't clear yet everybody needs to calm the fuck down.Yes, we went in unprepared. Hindsight is a bitch, but ranting/crying about it won't do shit.Yes, the clue was confusing, but what did you expect. We were basically asking for spoilers from the GM.third off: Make a fucking plan.Instead of complaining figure out how to salvage the situation. Ignore what could have been, focus on what can be. When you think you have a coherent plan, or at least a list, post it.

>>28728506Ignore that guy, please. No one else in this thread wants to argue about this. The winner was 3, right? Go back to Felicia's?We can apologize for running off like that blindly and figure things out there.Again, we're sorry. Can we continue the quest and leave this behind us?

>>28728555Because privatising superheroism has always worked out so well in the past.
This is almost as bad as that shitstorm on PGQ the other day
Okay, look, everyone, lets just cut all lines of discussion off right there. Its in the past, its over. Noone gives a shit.Lets just go to Felicia's and do what we meant to do before miscommunication ruined everything for everyone. There, nothing's changed.
>>28728590Let's not tip that Carnage has our attention. Not having their guard up makes them easier to catch.
>>28728590He won't come running out unless he's sure he can kill us.
I just want the quest to continue. Going back to Felicia's was the option we picked.I don't even care that we have 0 SP and 3 PL.Can we PLEASE continue the quest? I'm just here to have fun... I didn't mean to make Cosgrove upset.
>>28728555Do you want us to turn into Spock?

>>28728268>>28728546These. Just get back on track and apologize for everything. We just saw some terrible shit happen and we immediately rushed off to fix it before we could recuperate. We fucked up big time trying to handle shit we shouldn't be handling right now.

>>28728555Careful. Madness that way lies. There's more to being a hero than being everywhere and policing everyone.
Yeah, I'm just gonna go out for a walk myself. Maybe when I come back, I'll have a clearer head and a better idea of how to make a coherent plan here.
Why don't we all take a nice deep breath and jerk off, jerking off always helps me calm down
>>28728506Yeah, right now our Peter is, as you reminded us, nearly passing out from blood loss. Clearly he could have been far enough out of it to bring the question of help up for discussion, and in like of the clear lack of cognitive ability he would npbe displaying Doom (or more likely Sue, who seems to be the voice of reason) could have had the opportunity to caution us against going out in our condition. But I admit there is a natural disinclination of people to immediately undercut the guy who just Bid Damn Heroed himself in front of them. Dunno, it's a pretty hindsight argument that's entirely irrelevant at this point, just throwing it out there in case we end up in a similar situation at the beginning of another thread (stall tactics so one or two of the stragglers that know about past thread planning have time to show up and remind people to stop and think). Tl;dr fair enough, will try to do better going forward.

>>28728703>and then we hesitate too much and Uncle Ben gets murderedGood going!
>>28728681This man has the right idea. Let's calm down.Cosgrove, if you're reading this, just know we all realize we got out of hand and are willing to put this behind us. >>28728745nope, the moral of SM is that without responsibility bad shit happens.
>>28728729Or just remembered that from what we heard, Carnage isn't striking tonight.Like the blood loss/PTSD got the better of us a little bit.
Alright. I've taken a moment or two. There's two ways this can go.1- continue from here2- I create a new thread and reset from there. If 2 is the option- you do NOT get the spectacular point back. This is not a 1 or 2 vote.just say if you'd like to restart of continue from here.
>>28728729Pretty sure Sue's still at the embassy. See >>28728506.

>>28728795We've made our bed.To Felicia's, and lets see what we can do with it.
>>28728795I'd kind of like the reset since things got a bit out of hand. Also I only really got here at midnight, so I haven't really participated yet.
>>28728790? Pretty sure Carnage is striking tonight. Where'd you here otherwise?
>>28728795Personally I think we should just continue from here, rather than resetting. It's not ideal, sure, but it's more fitting.
>>28728795continue from here
>>287287952.We kind of deserve the loss of the SP for being such shits, and I can't think of any way to go back that doesn't piss Doom right the hell off and make us look like an absolute moron.

>>28728795I am fine with restarting, but I also like the dramatic tension of Peter realizing he's close to burnout.Continue.
>>28728795It's better if Peter Parker owns up to how he rushed out without thinking. Then we apologize to everyone for how we acted. We need HELP. We HAVE help, and we, in our traumatized, dehydrated mindset, fucked up.We have to be more careful, and we need to tell Felicia we love her.
>>287287951-we are adoulds, we can taking the responsibility for all this shit. even when its mostly coming form samefaging and shit/trollposting
>>28728795...2 is better than we deserve. You're awesome. Truly.I vote we continue from here. Though we probably need a new thread anyway.
>>28728855Manning up, apologizing and admitting our mistake is a good start
>>28728883>>28728885>>28728865come on guys, really?
>>287287952 We fucked up bad, and your giving us a second chance. I thank you for that man.
>>28728846Because if he IS striking tonight, than we would be 100% justified in rushing right out the door to stop Carnage because we don't have any time to spare.Evidently, this is not the case and we're an asshole for thinking otherwise.Which is why I'd like a reset.
>>28728795I say we restart because as >>28728855mentions it makes us look so much worse. I want to stay in the Storms' and Doom's good graces and we could seriously use the help.
>>287287952We will learn from this thread.Use the write in if we got a good damn fucking plan. That what it there. Besides, we might surprise the GM.There a quest where the players found out which place can be sneak in a fortress/castle in the winter by simplely looking at the chimnaies or the place where smoke rises from a fire place.
>>28728795It really doesn't matter to me. I say we keep going. We haven't fucked up beyond salvaging and I'd really rather not argue over all those other votes again. We just go back to Felicia's, apologize to her and Sue and DOOM, and get our shit together.
>>28728795Continue from here, we made our bed, now we have to man up to our mistakes. in the end Peter is only Human
>>28728892This.Considering the shit we just went through, we could explain why we rushed off like an idiot. Still doesn't make it right, and we have to start making the right decisions. That means, if we have a better plan, we use Write In.
>>28728795Let's stick with what's happened so far. I like the idea of Peter coming to his senses and apologizing.
>>28728795I think we should continue from here. We fucked up, but that was on us and the consequences shouldn't just be erased. The situation is still, I hope, salvageable. We go from here, go to Felicia's, make a proper plan.
>>28728865I just didn't have anything more to say about it.
>>28728892What was our big mistake?Assuming that unless we acted RIGHT NOW Carnage was about to murder an innocent little girl and her dad, and leave us without a way to capture him?
>>28728875Or actually this is good. We head right back to the embassy and apologize to Doom and the Storms. And then go back to Felicia's and apologize to her and Stella. Then spend the night getting our mind off of things.
>>28728909I don't think anyone'll hold a grudge. Except for Peter himself of course. The way we play him, he's his own worst enemy.
>>28728944That's canon Peter really.
>>28728918DOOM is a smart man, I think he would understand. We're still a young man after all, we can't be expected to be perfect.
>>28728938Not this shit again...Stop arguing. You are literally the only person in the thread who is still on about this.
>>28728795I'd prefer to reset since I got here late and am thus not invested in our actions thus far, but if we stay can we please just mention that we aren't thinking right, probably as a result of the blood loss? I mean, we had a solid plan when we started the story and by the time we ended *whistle and swooping hand motion* out the window." We are humble enough to ask for help when we need it and admit when we've fucked up.
>>28728795There was more than just the vote to leave/handle it right now. So unless those other votes(where Stella is going to stay and etc.) still count. I'd rather stick with what we got. I'd rather not revote on everything.
>>28728971It's just that I'm not entirely clear on what the fuck happened here.Like apparently we fucked up by not using the write-in option.
>>287287951If you let them reset things when they go bad, then they will expect the reset button every time.
>>28729007>apparentlyRead the thread, particuarly all of the Cos posts.
>>28728996We can use blood loss and PTSD as an explanation, but it's not an excuse for what we did.Now that we have friends, we need to have them give us a few favors.>>28729007We did fuck up by not using the Write In option. Now please just drop it.
>>28728961True. It's the one thing we're most faithful to.
>>28729007Basically, rushing off to stop Carnage is dumb because we don't have a way to stop him.We should have at least stayed to figure out where the family was and warn them. As it is, we're guaranteeing their deaths.
>>28729003Um, I think the expectation is if we do the reset, we're going to lets Doom handle it, take the down time to upgrade ourself, spend time with our girlfriend and figure out what to do with Stella. That's what I would do anyways...
>>28728795I really have no interest in figuring out how to write an apology because I'm barely clear on what we need to apologize for, since the whole "want to stop a spree killer that has the potential to become an immortal monster" is our core motive at this point?
Ok whatever happens WE all really should think about action/reaction stuff before anythingin mean while please enjoy this italian spiderman songhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TS6puznUSlg
>>28728938That and not asking for help. Really the asking for help part. Also, we rushed out without a real plan to be honest. Because we panicked.
>>28729062Apologize for leaving a 12 year old girl from the future with our girlfriend after 5 minutes of being back in the present.Apologize to DOOM for not respecting his judgement.Apologize for being an idiot. We have plenty to apologize for.
>>28728795Fuck it, do the reset.Since we've already pretty much made the first part of the thread worthless.
>>28729043Pretty much this. Tonight was more or less a test of whether we learned anything from trying to find Strange (and failing horribly). We failed so utterly and completely I'm not really sure how to describe it. Also, given that we know Carnage gets away with it, I'm guessing he isn't going to central park. Any other "public green spaces" in NYC?
Oh hey, quest reaches a fever pitch, more popular than ever, /tg/ doesn't stop to think in an important decision, fucks up, blames QM, QM gets fed up with this shit, leaves, may or may not come backBoy howdy. Good job guys. So, you cooled down yet?
>>28728795I think the reset would be good but I'm probably too optimistic about us learning from this.
>>28729103You're right about all of this. We have friends now. Friends help you when you are low. We are exhausted and PTSD. They were right to suggest we rest and right to worry.

>>28728795>2RestartSorry man. Really really sorry.
>>28728795On the one hand, I'd like to have consequences to our actions, on the other I'd like to forget this whole ordeal.I don't think we really understood everything when we were making decisions... So I'll go with the reboot.
>>28729157Yup. Me too. This is a lesson Peter is going to learn about realizing you're not alone in the world and there's no shame in asking for help.WE HAVE FRIENDS. We really can't do it all alone.
>>28728795I would really, really appreciate the restart.
>>28729133Do we even know he's on the move tonight?
>Alright, there seems to be a lead on continuing from here, so I'm going to work on the next part.I'm also going to list condition at the start of every thread from now on. Peter's not invincible- he has his limits, too.
>>28729192Basically this. I'll be fine with continuing and owning up to the mistakes, but I was honestly confused with our decision making progress here.
>>28729133Literally hundreds. And even if it is Central Park, that place is over 800 acres, so finding three specific people in it who were at least somewhat hidden would be nearly impossible.
