If you like cliched cardboard cutout stock anime characters with all the depth shot glass, hackneyed and contrived artificial tragedies straight out of a Nicholas Sparks novel, the same generic love triangle setup the author always resorts to since they know of no other way to generate drama, and a writing style so dry you might feel yourself needing a glass of water after the first paragraph. Simply put, if you've read one tale/a/non tale, you've read em all. More to the point, if you've read or watched enough Visual Novels or anime to spot the common archetypes, you've already experienced more than what tale/a/non can give to you. There are plenty of other stories more worth your time on this site alone, and that's ignoring all the anime and VNs tale/a/non shamelessly and poorly emulates that you could experience instead.

I liked what Demi Quest did where, for a while, we played as one of the characters we had met before while on a special mission.
