"Miho Nishizumi!" Kay says gregariously as you find the table. Evidently you had been among the last to arrive- Anzu, Momo and Yuuzu as well as the rest of Miho's crew are already seated at the table with Kay and some of her crew, and looking over the tables you can see most of the team talking, joking looking over menus mixed among Saunders tankers. "So good to see you again!" As Miho bows politely, though, Kay envelopes her in a huge bear hug. Miho seems a bit surprised by this action.

You are Commander Russells of the M26E1 Pershing Heavy Tank "Black Jack" and Kay really is the friendly sort- inviting your team out for cakes and offering to foot the bill- not that her school would have any trouble affording it. The cake shop seems to be a similar affair to the Panz-Tank themed cake shop on Oorai, but much larger.

"T-Thank you, Kay." Miho says, still glancing about nervously. "Thank you for inviting us!"

Kay smiles broadly, before gesturing you two to a couple of open seats at her table. "Have a seat, guys!"

You smile and take a seat next to Miho, who Kay still has a friendly arm around. "I saw that footage from last year's match against Pravda." She says, looking a bit more serious- she rubs Miho's shoulders reassuringly. "What you did was pure bravery."

Miho look down, evidently the memory isn't the fondest. "T-thank you." She says quietly. "But it cost us the match and the tournement..."

Kay holds the Panzer IV's commander with her hands on her shoulders. "No." She says sternly. "Listen- I showed what you did to every tanker on my team and made it clear- absolutely clear- that I would expect no less from any of them." Kay nods, making eye contact with Miho to make sure she understands. "Got it?" Miho nods. "Good." Kay says with a wink.

Miho sits down and looks over at you, you smile reassuringly. "She's right." You say, simply, as you pick up the menu, though feel a desperate need to change the subject for her.

It's a mountain by Australian standards
so not actually a mountain

Australia's tallest mainland mountain is barely over 2,000 metres

The one I climbed has a peak of 1,156m, but you start around halfway up so I climbed about 570m yesterday. It was a ten kilometre hike over four hours. It's not the most strenous of mountain climbs, but I'm just an amateur bushwalker. Still though it was decent.

The last 40 or so metres to the peak involves a rock climb with a chain, and that was fun as hell.

You pick up a menu and start reading off it. "So, Anzu." You say, looking over at the class President. "What's good here?" You say, glancing down the colorful pictures of tank-themed deserts.

"I've never been here, actually." Anzu says, flanked by Momo. "Too expensive for my tastes."

"You wanted your tank gold." You say flatly. "An entire tank. Then you painted over it again."

"That was school money." Momo says sternly. "Used for a school activity."

You roll your eyes. "Well, there's nothing with sweet potatoes in it, so I guess you'll have to improvise." You say, sighing as you look down the menu.

"Actually, the Sherman Apple Cake is quite good..." Miho says suddenly. "So is the Bavarian Chocolate Maus- but that needs to be split with at least four people." She realises that several people are looking at her with amazement and immediately blushes. "S-sorry- I was here a few years ago with... I was here a few years ago." She hadn't mentioned that earlier.

Going from East to West...
The Rural northeast is quite pretty, and like it or not, is the real birthplace of America.
Northeastern CITIES, on the other hand, need to be firebombed.
Mid-Atlantic is decent, but avoid DC and Baltimore. Actually, avoid any big city anywhere in the U.S.
The Deep South lives up to a lot of its stereotypes, for better or for worse. The rule of thumb is that the more rural the part of the South is, the more polite AND insular it becomes.
The Midwest is nice, if you like wide open spaces without too many people. Small town Midwest is the America you see in movies and books set in the U.S.
The Southwest is similar, but a lot warmer. Austin is the single exception to the big city rule, Austin is pretty cool.
The Rockies and Cascades are absolutley breathtaking. Words don't do them justice.
The Pacific Northwest is worth it just to see the rainforests.
Fuck California.

I can't really comment on Hawaii or Alaska, seeing as I've never been outside the continental U.S.

>Fuck California

Hey now, don't let the vapid assholes on the coastal cities judge the whole of the state! The state has a lot to offer, from the Yosemite Valley to the redwood groves on the coast, even all the way out to the desert flats that one should always be careful ATV'ing through as they unexpectedly intersect live gunnery ranges for some of the military bases.

The weather's nice most of the time, too, regardless of where you are. But as said before, stay the fuck away from Los Angeles, Hollywood, and San Fran unless you are doing the tourist thing. Traffic is shitty, people are assholes, and things only get better as you cross down south into Orange County and San Diego, east over into the desert flats and that long, deserted stretch of road running across the Mojave into Las Vegas, or up north to Santa Barbara.

Actually the major thing wrong with Californian government isn't really the politicians- it's the people. We have an open referendum system, so anyone with a few thousand signatures can put a law on the ballot, and then the next state election everyone votes on it. On one hand it's given us medical marijuana laws and gay marriage, on the other hand we get really fucking retarded laws that go through all the time.

"Wanna split a Maus?" You ask, looking over at Miho.

"It's meant for four peop-" She starts, but you cut her off.

"I'll take that as a yes." You say closing the menu with a grin. "I've always had a soft spot for chocolate anything, really."

Miho actually looks a bit worried at this point. "...But it's meant for four people."

Anzu, never the one to much care about political correctness, makes the connection. "I think it means four Japanese people, Miss Nishizumi."

She looks from you to Anzu, and then back to you. "...Really?" You nod.

"I think I've been challenged." Kay says from across the table, leaning back cracking her knuckles. "Maus for me and Alice, then."

Miho looks horrified.

Throw ourselves at Commissar Nonna's feet and pray that she doesn't send us to count trees in Siberia?

No, but in all seriousness, the T-34's and KV's that Pravda has will give us a run for our money. Then again, we *do* have the Tiger, don't we? I say we make a spearhead with the Pershing and Tiger out front, StuG on long rane duty, and the Panzer IV, Excelsior, and Lee on holding up our flanks. >>28813282

He could feel the presence of his old enemy nearby. Though their crews had changed, they had not. He knew his enemy knew that they would face each other once more. He hungered for the chance to prove himself superior to Soviet engineering once more, despite the fact that the Union no longer existed. No matter. His had been a higher calling; to defeat the enemies of the United States of America. Now his calling was higher still: to impart in the youth of today a love of tanking and armored vehicles.

It was a good calling, he knew, but just this once, he would let the older mission, deeply ingrained within his armor and turret and treads take over. To hunt. To /kill/. And no better tank for it than the IS-2, Soviet scum that it was.

Already he could feel the pistons in his engine firing a little faster, a little smoother, at the thought. His turret moved a bit quicker, his gun was smoother to aim, he hungered for the sounds and the smells of combat once more. Today, NOW, he would become Black Jack, not the Tank for Tankery or Senshado, but Black Jack the Killer, Black Jack the Hunter, Black Jack the Indomitable.

(On another, unrelated note, fuck the number Captcha system.)

(Does anyone know if Soviet tanks were male or female gendered? I know Soviet ships were actually 'He' in contrast to the rest of the civilized Europe, which labelled ships as female.)

He had been shamefully defeated. He knew it, and he knew his enemy knew it. His enemy reveled in it, gloried in his shame. Created by the finest Soviet engineers, he had been crafted for one purpose: Grind the enemies of the Rodina and the Union beneath his treads, and shatter them with his gun.

His Chinese operators had defiled him with their filthy Maoist yellow hands, but he had served ably, until that fateful day. Broken, flaming, crew running, he had sworn to do better next time.

He'd waited sixty years or more for this day, and now, NOW, he would go from IS-2 of Pravda Senshado Academy, to IS-2 of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, engineered to be the finest heavy tank the world has seen, and will ever see.

His engine fired faster, eager to be let loose and hunting for the Pershing once more. He had been designed for war, but in peace, found another task; educating young Comrades about tanking, and he enjoyed it. It was better than stuck rotting in Korea. But now. Now, he would become IS-2 of Chelyabinsk Factory No. 4, and he would glory in the Pershing's flaming death.

Object No. 768, or, as he preferred, Red Vanya, as the girls called him, liked his current crew. For Japanese, they weren't so bad, even if they were historical enemies of the Union, they at least cared about his history. The tall dark-haired one reminded him of his first commander's wife, and she had been a wonderful woman, truly a Soviet woman of worth. The short blonde had a Napoleonic complex, though, and that made his engine rumble in a small chuckle, even if Napoleon was another enemy of the Rodina.

Pravda had a winning tradition, of which he approved. They had rescued him from being stuck in a museum for the rest of his days, they had given him back crushing enemies of, if not the Rodina or Union, at least enemies of someone. The fact that they were cute girls, was, he told himself, completely aside the point, even if his first commander had thrown him in front of an advancing Fascist scum Panzer to shield a young mother and her child from its treads.

He'd taken several shots of the course of their fight with the German tank driving school, he knew, that might have proven fatal, were he not better able to defy the odds with sheer determination, will, and hatred of the Nazi scum. He was a tool, after all, but a venerable teacher of a tool.

Engine cooling in the dimlight of his storage, he felt a cool hand linger on the front slope of his armor. If he could have given Nonna a grandfatherly smile, he would have, but instead he settled for leaning forward just enough to let her know the 'fighting spirit', as they called it, was there. Giving him a delighted smile, she ran off, and he settled in to wait for the next time he was needed to grind enemies to dust beneath his treads or shatter them with his cannon.

Is BlackJack Dead? (timer starts)
>>
You stare across your Maus at Kay.

She stares right back at you across hers.

In unision you both turn to your seconds- Miho and a brown-haired freckled girl named Alice, you think- and nod. The Maus is enormous- nearly six pounds of poundcake, chocolate, cream and even an "armor" shell of creme brule.

"Wait!" Saori says, holding up her phone she takes a picture of the two Super Heavy Cakes. As the phone's camera sounds, you grab your fork and immediately cut through the rear of the turret- you smile inwardly as you realise you've gotten the drop on Kay who races to catch up. The bite is huge, but you've got plenty of milk to wash it down with.

By the forth bite in, you realise Miho hasn't even taken a bite and is just staring between you and Kay. "C'moin!" You say, mouth full of heavy chocolate cake. "Dig in!" You're going to need her help to finish this, and Arisa's already gotten two or three bites herself.

Miho blinks a second before nodding at you. "Let's do this..." She says quietly before digging a chunk out of the front plate. Good- you're working down and forward, she's working up and back so you should both meet in the middle. She's enthusiastic, but you hope she doesn't gorge herself too fast- a possible rookie mistake.

Over the course of the next twenty minutes, a small crowd begins to form at the table, watching the two teams and cheering you and Kay on. Then everything goes silent.

>Keep eating- we've got a contest to win.
>What's going on?
>Other.

I can't tell you how many Europeans I've met who think you can drive from Atlanta, Georgia to Los Angeles, California in a day.

They really just do not get the sheer size of the United States. When I tell them that it takes 12 hours to drive from Atlanta to Miami...or Dallas....they just really don't get it.

Then I drive them to Savannah or Charleston, and it blows their mind that driving across half the state of Georgia took 5 hours.

And those drive times are with me doing an average of 90mph the entire time. Driving the speed limit takes even longer.

Another thing I've noticed is that not only do they not get the sheer size of the United States geographically...but that the United States does EVERYTHING bigger. Our cities are bigger, there is no walking everywhere, you really do have to drive if you're not in a city with a massive public transportation system. Our houses are bigger. Our food portioning is bigger.

When I was in Germany as part of an exchange program, it took 10 minutes to walk from his townhouse to the school. He didn't believe me when I said that it was 5 miles to school back home. So when he came here, we walked to school the first day.....and had my older brother pick us up after the first mile because we were going to be late even at a brisk pace.

And even the various states have their own sub-cultures. Atlanta is all Damnyankee transplants and gang culture. Savannah is old-south southern charm. Athens is pure college town. South of Macon is land of the good'ole boys. And North Georgia is mountain-folk.

CLANG!

323 felt the 76.2 millimeter shell strike his mantlet and bounce off somewhere to his left. It stung-any hit stung the big tank-but it didn't penetrate. 323 silently thanked providence-and the steel boys at Detroit arsenal-before rotating his turret to face the soviet scrapheap downrange.

His front headlights seemed to flash in the dusty morning sun, as if to call out a challenge. Of course, he spoke no words; if he could speak, he would speak one word, and it would cause great ruin to anyone who heard it. But if he could speak, he would have said this:

"You get the DICK."

Inside his bulk, 323 heard the young private stuff a shell into his breech. "Up!" came the call, and if 323 had a face, he would have smiled. Instead, he simply focused and waited, itching with anticipation, for the gunner to squeeze the trigger.

When the command came, 323 answered. The shot went wide by about two inches, which, admittedly, was not much, but 323 considered himself to be a tank of high standards. The poor Soviet junkpile on the other end of his sights, however, was not-323 saw with an awareness his crew did not posess that the shell passed cleanly through the target's lower glacis plate, the crew compartment (missing the radio operator's leg by the aforementioned two inches..darn), the engine, and a few feet of the hill behind it. 323 didn't know how many that made; he didn't bother remembering them...they weren't worth the steel they were made of.

"That's a hit!" The commander whooped. "Black Jack strikes again!"

323 stopped, his engine sputtering for a moment. Black...Jack? he was Pershing hull 323, he knew this. But that was a designation, not a...

...a name. They'd given him a name. A NAME!

His engine roared, the cylinders burning and belching fire. His suspension jumped, the torsion bars screaming. Every part of him sang all at once. He wanted to remember this until he rusted down to dust, to recall every second, every millisecond.

His attention fell on the wreck downrange as he climbed up to cruising speed to find the next target. He decided to give this one tank a spot in his memory, just for this; I killed you, he thought, and I got a name.

Before, I was 323. Now, I am Black Jack. And you will fear me.

The Deep South.....as long as you're polite to us, we're as happy as can be to treat you like kin. Be a snotty douche, and we're gonna treat you like one.

Most of the people who have a problem with the South either A) Have never been to the South....or B) Go with a preconception that all Southerners are backwards redneck racists...and they treat us as such. And since they're completely close-minded, no amount of politeness can change their minds. And therefore they're Damnyankees.

As for California....I fucking LOATHE the Bay area and the major cities.....but I LOVE NorCal and the wilderness areas. I've got family in Eureka, and I love the mix of fishing village and old-school '60s era hippy. Laid-back and absolutely non-pretentious.

Also...in the Deep South...you have six distinct regions:

1) Atlanta -- Take NYC and LA and plop it in the middle of the Deep South. Nothing but transplants, traffic, and gang culture. The first is both good and bad....the last two are just bad.

2) Southern Florida -- Cubans and where Yankees go to die. No seriously. That's it.

3) The Mountains -- Breathtaking views, some of the best backpacking and hiking in the country (the Appalachian Trail), one of the most unique cultures in America (the moutainfolk, the true hillbillys). Tend to be exceptionally insular, but also highly polite.

4) The Gulf Coast -- You know all those New Yorkers and New Jersey people who were all panicked and devastated by Super Storm Sandy? Yeah, the Gulf Coasters get that on a yearly basis. Mix what you would call the California Beach Bum with Redneck, and you get the Gulf-Coast Southerner.

5) Louisiana -- Cajun, Creole, Coon-ass...great people...even better food. If it weren't for the sparrow-sized mosquitos, it'd be #1 of my places to live.

6) The Cotton Belt -- Your "stereotypical" rednecks...but more polite than the media and hollywood make them out to be.

Nonna had a delightful singing voice, he'd discovered. She'd come and sit in the commander's seat with a novel, manual, or textbook and read or study, and sing. He enjoyed her singing. Like Commander Baranov's wife. She sung beautifully as well, but she was gone and in the past, along with the Commander, Loader Putin, Gunner Markin, and Driver Kandinsky. Buried with full honors of the Union, he hoped, but he had no way of knowing. He'd been stuck in the Kubinka Armored Museum, at least until Pravda had bought him. He knew they'd spent at least seventy thousand American capitalist pigdog dollars on him, and another twenty-five thousand for the gun that he now mounted, from his brother IS-2 in Korea, another memory, now.

Radio tubes humming quietly in the dim recesses of his compartments and hull, Red Vanya was glad Senshado posed no physical threat to the crews except for fire or maybe a bump on the head. Especially when Nonna was riding with the commander's hatch open, like Aleksandar had often done. It worried him, if he were to be honest to himself and the girl, even as she continued to study her maths quietly, humming Katyusha, that she rode with the hatch open and her head sticking out so far.

Hadn't he lost his second commander, during the Great Patriotic War, that way? Not much his armor could do when their heads were poking out of it, he grimly thought, even as Nonna squirmed at something in her textbook. He'd have offered her help, but he was a tank, and the only math he knew was reloading time, aiming time, windage, elevation, travel time for his shells, exactly how long it'd take for his most recent shot fired to travel, penetrate or not, and kill or not.

Silently and motionlessly shrugging, Red Vanya went back to enjoying Nonna humming. Somehow, he noted, she managed to provide the accompanying instruments with only her vocal chords, and that fascinated him.

Also, for anyone else doing more of those tankspective POV stories, how about doing something for the humble M4 Sherman when we get this Saunders match underway?
Maybe have it so that it served through multiple countries/continents, got knocked out quite a few times, but got repaired and went back into service.
Then at the end served as an ARV, but Saunder's acquired it and refurbished it until it's fit for Senshado/Tankery again.

Blau Friedrich, or, officially, VK4501 (P), knew what voices around him and hands on him meant. He'd been FOUND. Almost shivering in delight, if a tank could shiver, he knew these girls'd be using him in Senshado once more, and he longed to prove to those stupid fucks in Command he wasn't worthless. He'd SHOW them his fighting ability! He might have missed the Second Great War, but by the tank god, he'd prove that he would have been effective, by demonstrating his superior armor and his mighty 88mm KwK L/56!

He knew they would be dismantling him to get him out of this Hellhole he'd been stuck in for the tank god knew how long, but it would be worth it! Who knew what new tanks Oorai would have? His comrades would welcome him back, he knew, and once they took the field, they'd be unstoppable! His consciousness began to dim, then, as the girls began work, but he knew he'd wake back up eventually. He always had.

~*~

Engine roaring to life, Blau Friedrich awoke once more, surrounded by tanks and their crews. A Pershing, an M3 Lee, a StuG, an EXCELSIOR! He could feel their spirits flickering to active thought, not just idling, and they were all welcoming. Reveling in being wanted once more, Blau Friedrich let his engine tick in contented idleness, as the crews melted away to perform maintenance and repairs. He was wanted, and thus he was content in the knowledge he would be able to serve.

You keep shovelling it in- focus was the difference between victory and defeat here- you can't lose concentration for even a second or you might realise how full you're getting. Another bite. Chew. Milk. Swallow. Repeat.

You get through another three or four bites before you finally glance over at Miho, who's also stopped eating and has gone a porcelain-shade of pale. Across the table, both Kay and Alice have stopped, everyone is staring at a point behind you. You get through one more bite before it becomes uncomfortable. "What?" You say, but nobody answers.

You slowly turn around in your seat.

Well crap.

Maho and Erika are flanking an older woman- long strait hair flows down her back, but it almost seems muted, without sheen or life. Her face wears a look of, again, muted distates. She's maybe in her late thirties or early fourties, old enough to...

That's when your brain finally puts one and one together.

"So." She says quietly, though over the silence of the room she might as well have been screaming. "This is the Boy Commander you told me of?" Maho nods, but Shiho isn't looking. "About as undisciplined and slovenly as I might have expected, both for a man and an American."

He was Hull No. 179, Turret No. 567, and he was a Tiger II. To his first, and only other, crew, he had been Grosse Mieze. "Big Kitty," as it were. They had thought it hilarious at the time, and so had he, until the war forced them to buckle down. He had served the Fatherland well, and he had served his crew well. There was great honor in that, and in great honor, great pride was to be found. After all, hadn't Clausewitz himself said "Of all the passions that inspire a man in a battle, none, we have to admit, is so powerful and so constant as the longing for honor and reknown?" He had, Grosse Mieze knew, and that was why he was perfectly happy to be a tank in the lineup for Black Forest Peak Academy, as well as a chance to be reunited with old comrades.

He didn't care for Shiho, but he liked Erika. She was as prideful as a winning tradition entitled her to be, and was he not the finest piece of German engineering to rumble across Earth? After all, Soviet scum, perfidious Brits, and uncouth Americans had no place in the glory of mock war that was Senshado. No, Grosse Mieze knew, if only German tanks were allowed to participate, it truly would be glorious and honorable.

He looked forward to crushing the newcomer American, the M26 Pershing, beneath his treads. He hoped literally, as it were.

This.

We call her out. But we're polite about it. We're not using drowning girls (underhanded tactic), we're not being uncouth Americans, and we're not giving any type of impression that we're trying to impress or otherwise submit to Shiho.

This forces her to lose face by continuing to be a bitch, or be cordial with us.

It also shows that we are not someone who will tuck our tail because she's Shiho Nishizumi.

You look the woman in the eye. She stares right back- coldly. "Nishizumi Shiho, I presume?" You say politely, before grabbing the napkin to wipe your face with. "A bit of friendly competition before our friendly competition- I apologize, but I tend to focus on winning when challenged." You don't break eye-contact- you are going to assert your dominance, or at least equality whether she accepts it or not.

You politely offer your hand to be shaken. "Commander Russells. M26E1 "Black Jack"-" You begin- you'd proven with Maho that you were perfectly capable of being proper and polite, and that was the contest at hand.

"I'm aware of your tank, Mr. Russells." Shiho says coldly, staring at your hand momentarily as though it were some manner of sewer rat crawling out from her dinner. "However, if I had deemed it necessary to speak with you, I would've addressed you, directly." Here eyes narrow and shift to Miho beside you. "I am here to speak with Miho."

"I see you have found your way back into Senshado." Shiho continues. "In the company of foreigners, misfits and others that I wouldn't deem suitable to grease our treads." She smiles cruelly. "Good company for one such as yourself. I would describe just how we would crush Oorai's pathetic team under us, but I think we both know that you won't be getting far enough in the tournament for that to happen."

Miho looks close to tears, her hands balled into fists at her sides. Despite this she retains a passive, bored look on her face. She bites her lip, obviously wanting to say something. Finally, as it seems Shiho is about to turn away triumphant, the dam bursts. "YOU WON'T TALK TO MY BOYFRIEND LIKE THAT!" She shouts, eyes screwed shut with the effort of projecting her voice.

Shiho blinks, the veneer of superiority cracking for just a moment. Maho's eyes narrow at you and Erika looks ready to burst out laughing.

"About time." Mako says, from across the table.

Aly yawned and stretched as she sat up in bed. Jetlag was a killer, seriously. She checked her bedside clock; 5:03PM. She'd napped for three hours, and now she had just under an hour to get ready for the strategy dinner they had planned for the night. Plenty of time, she thought as she got out of bed and walked into the bathroom.
She came out of the bathroom a few minutes later, with wet hair and wrapped in a towel. She hadn't bothered to unpack yet, so she just grabbed some clothes out of one of her suitcases. She dressed herself, then collapsed onto the couch at the end of her bed, sighing.

She couldn't believe the 'dorms' here. They were more like single room apartments than the stereotypical student dorm she had expected. The main room was divided up into corners, basically. The corner to the left of the door contained a kitchen and dining area, and to the right of the door was a small living area with a TV and a desk for school work. In the far right corner of the room was the bed and wardrobe and in the far left was the bathroom.
If the texts on Alysha's phone were anything to go by, it seemed that everyone had gotten a room that was similar, and they loved it. It was a totally foreign experience for them all; they had an entire apartment room to themselves and no parents to worry about. Aly could taste the sense of independence on her tongue. She could do anything she wanted to. She could watch porn with the speakers on.
But not until after she went to that strategy dinner. She checked the bedside clock again and found she only had half an hour left before she was told to be there. She put the final touches to her hair, clothes and makeup, and with fifteen minutes to spare, decided to leave early. She could get lost, after all.

One that isn't top-tier, almighty, but knows that the only way to survive and keep going is to be smart, be quick and avoid the enemy guns. It has been knocked out before, and will most likely be again, but until then, it will do its best to contribute, and leave the field with its duty done.

Miko Matsumoto sometimes felt confounded by her boyfriend's forwardness. His casualness towards everything related to romance, physical contact and everything else was astounding. Did he have no shame? That was something she had learned in her brief stay in Australia; the laid back honesty that the people there had. Not that it didn't... excite her a little, but she did get a little annoyed at how out of depth she felt. Especially when Joshua ended up staying over the previous night. As the commander of the Sensha-do team, Miko was used to having some control over the situation; yet Joshua seemed to sweep away that control and sweep Miko off her feet.

With that thought in her mind, she felt a sudden vertigo as Joshua picked her up from behind. He carried her back to the couch and sat down with her on his lap.
"J-J-Joshua! I need to get ready for everyone arriving!"
"But I wanted a cuddle," he pouted. "Don't you want to cuddle?"
Her heart melted a little at the look on his face. "Y-yeah, but there are people coming over. What if they see...?"
"What /if/ they see?" he asked back. She just opened her mouth in shock. "God, you're so sexy when you're embarrassed."
Her face went hot and red and her heart fluttered. "Do you really think I'm... sexy?" she asked him.
"If I didn't, why would I have the urge to kiss you right now?"
Miko decided that talking had stopped being important right then, and that there were other, more pressing matters to attend to.
That is, until the door opened, and Rina cried out "W-w-what is this!? What are you doing!?"
"Oh that's right," Joshua said. "There were people coming over, weren't there?"
Miko nearly died from embarrassment.

And that's it until next time, when I'll hopefully be on bloody time for once. I will, however, be at DnD on the same time as GuPQ is on, so I'll have to post a little late.

Being from South Georgia...yeah, most of that sounds right.

On a side note, damnyankees are the ones that won't leave.
