You’ve just finished leaving your school’s costume party, at which you won fifth place during its costume competition. You also encountered a really creepy girl and your friend Harry up and vanished on you. You’ve called him several times before leaving him a message.

And then you were on the way to go see your girlfriend and adoptive sister when you notice a bunch of police cars rushing somewhere.

Oh, Come on.

REALLY?

See if it's something they need help with, at least.

We don't have black symbiote/soundproof costume on us so Peter is kind of fucked on his own.
Also doom promise help so it dose makes sane to at least inform him.
>>
>>28864173
>>[ ] Go check it out (as Spider-man)
We need to start following these things. Heck, we should have followed the Ghost Girl the moment she noticed our Spider-Sense.
>>
>>28864314
>Doom is not a vigilante. Stop trying to get him to do everything for us.
Stop trying to prevent DOOM from getting out. Perhaps he wants to run around town spamming footdive.
Nobody ever asks DOOM if he wants to kick people in the face, they just assume he doesn't.
Think of DOOM's feelings.
>>
>>28864371
Doom is not our supervisor. Doom is a leader of a country, a powerful wizard and a brilliant scientist. Is it really so outrageous to think he has other shit on his head?
>>
>>28864371
Spidey isn't a pushover and Doom doesn't have time to personally go out of his way for things all the time. We should at least try and handle it on our own before imposing.

He is already involved since issue 32, he knows that if Carnage is not captured a lot of shit will happen.
Also all we do is call Fel to get info of what is happening, it could possibly some minor thing that doesn't involve carnage/goblin like uncle ben death
>>

>>
>>28864603
No, I actually like the kind of Spider-Man we are here. We do what the cops can't and don't step on their toes. We stop a crime if we see it being committed but don't necessarily go out of our way all the time to do that.

>>28864625
>>28864639
That is true too. We don't need a loved ones' death to spur us to action. We saw what a future without us actively working for a better tomorrow looks like.
>>
>>28864625
>>28864639
theres is a difference between seeing a shitty future because we weren't around and our indifference causing a family member to get killed
>>
>>28864677
We've still got the Great Power and Great Responsibilty lesson, regardless. We even mentioned that to Stella while we were there.

We know what happens when we aren't there to help. It doesn't matter if we weren't there because of indifference or not. We know to be there.
>>
>>28864603
Already did that in the future when we found out that Ben, May, and MJ's Mom all died at the same time because we weren't there to save them, then we watched Flash get splattered across the landscape because we didn't do enough to help.

We've had our formative 'Take this shit seriously' moment already. Several of them. Saving Brock and the cops from goblin bombs, protecting the school from a goblin attack, accepting responsibility for Stella, even stepping in to do our best to protect MJ in the alley. We've hit peak-Parker levels of responsibility in under a month of having the powers.
>>
>>28864677

Exactly. We're already responsible, and our father gave us the GPGR talk. We didn't need to be a selfish fuck-up to learn that lesson.
>>
After Fuck Carnage arc is over, which arc should we pursue?

Hi guys, missed the tail end of last thread so would someone mind explaining why we gave the Future-Carnage-Esque Woman in White a tip off to us having the Spider-sense? Thank you and I apologize for the any possible frustration that may bleed into my posts n the net half hour or so.
>>
>>28864677
There's also a difference between indifference and being an idiot.
>>
>>28864789
I've got a feeling tonight is going to remind us how bad news Hobbs is.
And that it may or may not relate to Gwen... who we need to ask her to do something with the blood samples.

Also, unencrypting the hard-drive finishes two arcs.
>>
>>28864798

The vote was to dodge the danger during the dance. I'm ambivalent to it, it may or may not bite us later, and it didn't clue them into nothing because our Parker Luck didn't reset.

>>
>>28864825
Did you read her response? It sounded very Gwen-Carnage didn't it? But Gwen would already know. The paraphrase (since I don't feel like looking it up) was "it's interesting what you learn about your partner when you dance poorly on purpose. Thanks, Peter."

Not the best indication of things to come, I think. Especially after going semi public having a relationship Felicia.

Is this ever going to actually happen again? Or can we repurpose this for Flash?

>>
>>28864979
We need to get a SP Expand. We need more SP for those Dramatic Moment unlocks.
>>
>>28864974
Pretty sure that refers to Felicia's criminal connections.
>>
You start heading off towards an area not easily noticeable- the school has guards patrolling it so you head to an alley between some building and climb its fire-escape. After confirming that nobody’s around you quickly call Felicia. After a few rings, she picks up.

“Hey, Peter, you on your way?”

You listen to the sirens in the distance. “I was until I noticed a bunch of cop cars, so I’m going to check it out quickly. If it’s nothing they can’t handle I’ll leave it to them, but if it’s something big I’ll deal with it.”

“Alright, but be careful.”

“I will, see you soon.”

After confirming that there’s nobody around, you quickly change into your new Spider-man costume, hiding your Halloween costume on top of the building, assisted by a little webbing. Seconds later, you’re off.

It takes only a moment until you’re above the cops- using building rooftops and as little as webbing as possible to keep up.

So far, nobody’s noticed you.

Arriving on top of a building to the scene of the crime, you see the cops have surrounded a bank in a defensive perimeter. You see several cars on their sides, windows shattered, as well as the bank’s.

he is a leader of nation so i presume he dosn't have much use from knowing the drugs/black marked people.
On the others side Felicia should have at least some criminal connections
>>
>>28864949
Actually, isn't Felicia still playing catch up with her school work? Maybe we should spend some more time tutoring her?
>>
>>28865003
Teaming up with SHIELD tends to come with strings attached. They're about as trustworthy as any huge, controlling, government bureaucracy minus people like Nick Fury who aren't afraid to bend the rules for you if he likes you.
>>
>>28864982
Narrative Turnaround is really not worth it for it's cost in my opinion. We won't have any spec points to make sure to keep up plot momentum for one.

>>28865025
That's pointless since it burns all our SP as long as we have more than 1. More SP doesn't matter since we lose them all when we use it.

>>
>>28865045
>>[ ] Wait and see the culprit
We play this smart. Whomever did this came with enough firepower to blow out the bullet-resistant lexan most banks in NY use on their fronts, and flip cars. That right there says either 'powers' or 'gear'. Either way, we want to be cautious because most cops don't have the gear, training, or edge to deal with stuff like this. We have... well we have an edge and a gimmicky gadget, but that edge goes a long way.

Most spiders are ambush predators. We wait for whomever it is to show themselves. Then we get the drop on them.
>>
>>28865149
Sandman, most likely.
>>
>>28865054
Statistically speaking we should be orbiting around 0 SP anyways. i.e. There is no point in buying it other than actually having 2 SP banked AND being at the end of the arc. Then we need a 3rd SP banked for when we have to use an SP but want to keep NT available.

You haven’t been noticed yet, so you decide to sit and wait. If the culprits show themselves, you’ll be able to decide if you need to act.

Besides, sneaking in is the easiest way for people to claim you’re accomplices with whoever is in there. It’s probably just some common thieves, but still.

You sit there in silence as you hear the cop’s voice, amplified, call for the perpetrators to emerge with their hands up. It’s silent as you tensely wait for something.

And then the laughing starts. You see the cops collapse to the ground as their windows shatter and sirens go off as the Hobgoblin walks out, large sacks in hand. He seems to be saying something to the cops, but you can’t hear it.

Crap, we don't have out anti-sonic suit. Which means we need to deal with this at range. look for something we can throw, preferably some rebar we can use as a spear. OR a SmartCar, those tiny little things may be within our Peter's lift-and-throw range. But we need to handle this from range.

Only other option I see is sneaking up behind him, wrapping an arm around him in a headlock, and emptying a web cartridge down his throat, but that runs the risk of killing him and I don't think we're ready to go that far.

Interesting note, we heard his laugh but it didn't cause any damage. So we know he has a range limit on the damaging effects of the laugh that's less than maximum audible range. We'll have to reflect on that later.
>>
>>28865873

There's a difference between not having a 100% chance of victory and being at a severe fucking disadvantage. You know, trying to punch, or kick someone with a free, area of effect disable that can be used at any time, and who can easily rip off our webbing.

Have we even done any modifications to our webbing, if not it'll just get ripped off again

Most police cars have a shotgun with 'door knocker' rounds in the trunk for when they have to force an entry (or take down someone hopped up on PCP who doesn't feel 9mm or .45 shots, that shit is scary). Have the cops get the door-knockers (soft-tip ballooning slugs designed to crush hinges, technically illegal to fire at humans, but the argument could be made that Hobby hasn't proven to be human so he's a legal grey area). Take out his kneecaps with them, maybe a wrist. That should end the fight.
>>

>[ ] Call for Backup- Felicia "I'm going to need some anti-sonic back-up..."

We need to keep him in one place and hit him as hard as we can before he can retaliate. Preferably disarm him quick too - fuck those swords (if he's recovered them) and DEFINITELY fuck those bombs.

If Felicia can get there in time to help, we might stand a chance. Where did we even stash the anti-sonic suit? Our place? Felicia's? I hope Felicia's... Not that I foresee us having the time to suit up properly.

>>28866091

Damn, bad timing. Let's call Felicia and explain what's going on. Unfortunatetly we can't wait for her to get here with our anti-Hobby gear, he could kill a cop while we wait, so i vote we sneak up and try to take him down HARD. Disabling his sonic voice would make things waaay easier so go for that first.
>>
>>28866191
Unless we call Gwen too. If Gwen can keep him distracted we may be able to change.

Web grab his money sacks. Itll take his attention off the cops and hopefully keep him fron leaving. Plant a tracer on the bags. Fight him, but let him get away.

>>
>>28866184
But will that be enough to work vs Hobo armor? I mean based off that last fight it seemed like he didn't really care about being shoot at all. Shit still hurts when you get hit even with armor but Hobo seemed to take it stride like he wasn't affected by the impact of the shots all.

Because it's not a piercing bullet. Ballistic armor uses multiple layers of non-matching substances to negate a bullet's penetration, rendering it a painful kinetic impact, but non-lethal, like getting hit with a baseball at high speeds. But anti-bullet armor does very little for a heavy weight at high speeds. We proved that when our punches were more effective than the cops' guns. So we need to deal with this via blunt-force-trauma. That's what the slugs do. Especially when applied to joints.

We're all smart and tech and shit, and we know DOOM, who's all magic and tech.
So we call DOOM and ask to come over and build a Spider-Belt, and we can put a spider-signal into the belt but most importantly, we can put a sound cancelling device in it that hits Hobby's laugh with a counter sound wave to negate it.
>>
>>28866768
No.
DOOM is a busy man
>>
>>28866768
Stop posting.

This isn't DOOM's priority. He's heir to the throne of Latveria, not our sidekick.
>>
>>28866768
Asking for help against a foe as weak as the hobgoblin would lose us a fair deal of Doom's respect. Especially since we are clearly smart and capable enough to create our own countermeasures without wasting Doom's time.
>>
>>28866768
We already owe Doom a lot. If we're doing the Tech thing, we need to do it ourselves.
>>
>>28866768
"So DOOM trying to run a country... and you want a pocket sized sonic amp to counter this character?"
"... yes?"
"Bottom drawer in the third filing cabinet. Have it back by the end of the week."

So Peter has enough skill to create a miniatured counter sound wave device? We need it to be belt sized and able to turn on and off at will.
Because we're not too good with tech, especially the programming side.

You’ll have to wait for him to take off before you can take him down. If he’s flying, odds are he can’t pull of that laugh, especially if he’s weighed down by the two large bags of what is presumably cash.

Still, Gwen said she’d help if you called her, so you should. Pulling out your phone, you dial her phone’s number, waiting as it rings before she picks it up. “Hello?”

“Gwen, its me. You know how you’d help if the Hobgoblin showed up? Well he’s at First National Bank, some blocks off from our school. I’ll try to hold him off- he’s up to something, have to call you back.”

Hanging up, you watch as he finishes gloating and kicks a cop. You notice that he seems annoyed when he’s hit in the back by a shotgun, the blast echoing all the way up to you. He staggers for a bit before you see him swing set down one of the bags and send the cop flying backwards with one punch.

Picking up his bag, you see the wings extend as he takes off. That bought you a few minutes, so let’s keep him delayed.

Now that he's airborne, he's yours!

That's if we need it to counter specific soundwaves in real time, like only Hobby's stuff. For a general sound nulling device, it'll purely be engineering.

You shift you posture so that you can kick upwards, using a moment to web his mouth. “I see you’ve taken care of the treat for the night, but you’ve missed out on the trick!”

Kicking upwards, you hear a whimper as you web and pull Hobby so that he’s facing downwards away from any pedestrians before jumping off right before he lands. He skips a few times as he lands as his flight pack powers down. The bags land and roll away from him.

On the ground, away from you, the Hobgoblin slowly gets to his feet. His masked face is in a snarl and his voice is a pitch higher.

If they're incendiary bombs, let hope he didn't.
>>

Then he won't come back, or maybe he will. But without hands. Either way is good. I mean shit, he's a supervillain, you don't go into supervillainry expecting it to be a safe job
>>

I think we should ask for a gm signal on the strength of these bombs before more voting for this option.

I mean... I doubt they'll KILL him...
>>
>>28867877
Civilian casualties > Hobs hands

>>
>The Hobgoblin's pumpkin bombs were strong for explosives of that size.

As to if he'd be messed up by the explosion. You don't know, but probably would be a safe bet.
>>
>>28867874
That's not Spectacular Spider-Man logic. That's Superior Spider-Man logic.

We're a superhero, and we should not be happy if our opponents were devastatingly crippled for life.
>>
>>28867877
we don't know
They could be any kind of bomb

Gm ain't gonna tell us shit sonny
>>
>>28867900
We want to web his hands BEFORE he arms the bombs. That's the idea, anyway. After that he won't be able to tear off our webbing.
>>
>>28867900
Thank you.

I say we web his eyes and knock him off his feet. This would allow us to close in and try to restrain him further or even unmask him.
>>
>>28867877
All a GM could logically give us is what we remember from last time or the time before that. When he was leaving craters in pavement or blowing up the side of the school. We know they've pretty powerful, if they're his standard and not some cheaper look-a-likes. But if we lock them into his hands, he'll be forced to disarm them (almost all grenades don't actually trigger until thrown and can be disarmed by re-inserting the safety mechanism).
>>
>>28867900
>>28867666
Web bombs OUT of his hands and high into the air.

We show we're ready to maim, we need to be prepared to be maimed.
It's an escalation thing.
>>
>>28867900
I vote for not webbing his hands. Web his legs and pull him forward so he drops them, then toss him into a police car and web him there.
>>
>>28867666
Flip over his head and spray webbing into his flight pack air intakes.
He wont throw the bombs if we are too close and we can willpower down his luagh.
>>
>>28867930
Seconding this plan. We shouldn't just cripple him.
>>
>>28867900
either way, web his hands.

It's the right thing to do by SHIELD standards, and it IS a golden opportunity. We make the shot on an already injured Hobby, he could go down here and now.
>>
>>28867926
This. if we web the hands to the bombs, he can't use his hands to rip it as they're busy holding bombs

exerting pressure may set off the bombs

best he can do is fly in that case

unless he wants to set off the bombs in his hands...

in which case we aren't killing him

we're just choosing not to save him
>>
>>28867930
THIS.

Please, if there is a chance that we could cripple him for life or kill him, Let's NOT web his hands while he's holding his bombs.
>>
>>28867937
This. Alot of Spidey's villains don't shoot to kill, because Spidey doesn't. It's been shown a few times that if Spidey starts killing and maiming, they freak the fuck out and try to kill Spidey out of fear.
>>
>>28867958
No, fuck you, Nolan Batman. We want to save lives, even the lives of our hated enemies.

Hobgoblin hasn't even killed anyone to our knowledge.
>>
>>28867974
>Spidey's villains don't shoot to kill
Spidey or civilians? Goblin's already done that by throwing bombs at the police.
>>
I feel like this is a case of people not thinking about the results of our actions.
>>28867974
Is right we shouldn't escalate so brutally.
>>
This is stupid amounts of worry.

Web the man's hands-it either works well and he's rendered so screwed we can drop him, or worst case he gets maimed, and no civvies get hurt.

EITHER WAY it fits JJJ's current image of a do-gooder spiderman.

police have been mortally harmed by hobbs

point isn't to kill hobbs, it's to keep him from doing anything
if he presses the buttons when he's webbed, it's his own decision.
>>
>Alright, let put it to a vote

1- Web them to his hand

>>

>>

Your eyes narrow behind the mask as you quickly extend your hands and web the bombs to his. He moves to throw the bombs, but stops as he notices his hands. Clenching his hands into fists, you see that he crushes the pumpkin bombs before his flight pack activates and he charges at you, fists swinging.

You dodge under his furious blows, one by one, as he blindly flies at you in a rage. You’re easily dodging his blows and getting a few of your own in before dodging again as you see him wheezing.

And then, as he overextends himself, you hear a loud, metallic ‘clang’ as he drops to the ground. Behind him, in a red, masked outfit that’s obviously not fully finished is a feminine form, holding a pipe.

Wheezing and setting down the pipe with her gloved hands, she looks down at the Hobgoblin before kicking him in the ribs for good measure.

Seems like he’s out for the count. But you can hear the police approaching, rapidly.

“Sorry for taking so long, but I don‘t have my own webbing.”

A familiar, muffled voice comes from the woman.

4. Take Gwen off to chat, possibly Felicia's so we can all get on the same page.

It’s best this stuff doesn’t stay on him and you might as well nip this mystery in the bud. Pulling off the mask ,you see that teen with the camera who had been approaching Felicia earlier today and take a picture with your phone. “Help me get him out of this stuff, lest he break out and just take it back.”

Gwen pauses before nodding as you get all of his armor and backpack off before webbing him to the nearby street light post. Tying and webbing all of his stuff to your back, you grab Gwen and webswing away just as the police arrive.

Quickly heading back to where you left your costume without being followed, you set down Gwen before checking your webbing. Just about out. She’s been rather nervous and quiet since her earlier comment.

In the meantime, you should put back on your Char Costume over your Spider-man outfit.

There’s the Hobgoblin’s equipment- what should you do with it?

You must be new, because the weapons you are thinking of isn't the Oscorp break in people are reffering to. Way back in like thread 5 or so someone broke into Oscorp and stole some experimental explosives, armor, and flight technology. I also believe it mentioned the serum that would give the Hobgoblin his super strength. He showed up later that week, trying to kill Peter Parker with a bomb.

Next time we get a time-skip option, even if only like 2-4 weeks, we need to take it. Peter needs the rest, needs to spend just regular bf time with Fel, and needs to do other stuff, like apply for colleges. We could also repair and update our tech too.

This is kind of weird

Then people need to stop talking out of their ass now don't they? If you're not sure about something take two damn minutes and look it up.
>>
>>28869215
>[X]Leave it hidden somewhere, come back later
>[X] Arrange to talk to her another time, you’re on a time limit tonight
>>
You’ll leave it hidden and come back for it later. Looking around, you see a covered area that could be a good place to store it. You could leave it for the cops, but then there’s the chance he could get it back and you wouldn’t be able to study it in case you have to deal with him again.

Honestly, New York’s finest don’t inspire much confidence.

Heading back over to Gwen you sit down. “Hey, thanks for that. You really helped me out there, you know. Also, if you’d like a pair of webshooters, I could probably whip some up. I was going to make new ones, anyway.”

You look over at her and let out a sigh. “Look, I don’t really have the time for it tonight, but we need to talk. There’s a lot that happened while I’m out and you deserve to know. Can we arrange a time to talk?”

Gwen looks down at the mask and gives a wry grin. “Well, I suppose being informed is better than not knowing at all. And you you’re right. I should get home before my dad finds that I was out. But it was rather therapeutic to hit that guy, you know?”

“I don’t know when I’m free, but I’ll give you a call when I know.”

You nod at her as she puts back on her mask and quickly heads off while you head towards Felicia’s house, helmet in arm.

My auto update hadn't loaded when I hit submit.
If I hadn't rolled, that next roll might not have been a 19 because of the board algorithm.
Tearing someone down due to a random integer generator in a cooperative game is certainly productive.

You head back to Felicia’s, enjoying the quiet night. After Hobgoblin, you deserve it. Really, you do.

Closing your eyes for a few moments you pause and listen to -absolute nothingness- before opening your eyes. Heading to your girlfriend’s house, you knock on the door. Felicia opens up the door and smiles, relieved, before pulling you into a hug.

Eventually, she relents to letting Stella out of her room and spending time with the two of you. You think she might be acting a bit off initially, but the feeling soon fades as the three of you watch a movie. Tonight’s turning out to be a pretty good night. When it hits about nine-thirty, you bid them farewell and go to return home, especially after Felicia’s house gets a call from Aunt May reminding you you’d better be home by ten.

Or else.

Getting home in the nick of time, you’re bailed out by Uncle Ben, who keeps Aunt My from giving you the talk.

All in all, this has been a pretty cool night.

Most of the specialized webbing is general use. Impact Webbing hits hard, knocks the wind out of people and constricts. Taser Webbing is great for stunning things, especially mooks. Extinguisher webbing for putting out fires, I mean our first badguy used Explosives and Flaming swords. Coagulating Webbing would be super sticky, and we could lay it down as a trap so if someone runs or drives over it, they get stuck.

If we do make a new type of webbing, I think it should be acidic webbing, to eat through heavy armor. But I still think we need stronger base webbing first though.

I would like to upgrade our webshooters to be able to hold different types of web fluid at the same time, like in a circular magazine or something. And upgrade the firing mechanism so that we can fire webs further and fire Impact Webbing.

I'd also like to upgrade our Spider Tracers so that they have at least a max range of 1 mile.
>>

>>

I actually don't want us to bother with the sonic-proof costume. Let's just make a noise-cancelling device we can put on our belt.
>>
>>28870503
>>28870500
Also add the date with Felicia too.
>>
>>28870449

If the Hobgoblin gear isn't gone we shouldn't forget about it.

See what we can learn about it and if we can use it.
>>
>>28870449
WHATEVER WE DO. GET HOBBY'S GEAR SOMEWHERE SAFE WHERE WE CAN KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON IT. DON'T LEAVE THAT SHIT THERE.

>>
>>28870527
Bro, that was stolen already, the perception check was to see who would come and take it.
>>
>>28870449
Get impact webbing, also increase range of trackers and the size of webcanisters in addition to a revolving webshooter that allows us to switch web types. also Taser Webbing sounds rad if we can swing it.
Get Stella moved in, get Gwen some webshooters as well
>>
>>28870533

You idiots.

Talk to Gwen about the stalker and PUT A NAIL IN HOBBY'S ARC.
>>
>>28870533

We can probably make a quick faraday cage that'll mask any tracer signal. They aren't going to be very powerful in the first place.

Then if there's somekind of detonation trap, we should put it somewhere we don't care about.
>>
>>28870527
>>28870533
You this wouldn't have been an issue if we had just you know taken them with us...

>>
>>28870533
I second this. Maybe see if we can improve on or incorporate the armor into our costume without significantly impacting mobility.

Oh and maybe we could figure out how to incorporate the sonic weapon too, but make it more non-lethal so we have a wide range stunning weapon.
>>
Why not make some sort of spider-web grenade, or remote detonation webbing bomb. For traps and shit

>>
>>28870449
>web shooter upgrades
Increase durability and capacity. Add a second nozzle to the back of the wrist so we can selectively fire specialized webbing in the event we need too.

Make a set for Gwen and give her our basic webbing recipe.

>new webbing
1 - Add strength, retain elasticity and stickiness.
2 - Supper strong and sticky, elasticity can be sacrificed (for restraining those with super strength)
3 - super super sticky (for blinding opponents and restraining common thugs en masse)

>Costume upgrades
> Integrate a wired (not wireless) headset into our suit for convenience using our phone during fights etc.
>weather proofing! (if necessary)

>other
Make grappling gun bracers for Felicia. Maybe integrate some climbing claws into a glove assembly for her as well.
>>
>>28870606
Funny thing is, you didn't drop it into their laps.
>>
>>28870606
I wonder what JJJ will say about us in the paper
>>
>>28870582
>>28870561

Probably, but we shouldn't act like it's a sure thing until we actually know.

It'd be pretty stupid if we were just being paranoid.

It's win-win. If it's gone, we don't lose and can do everything else anyway.
>>
The hero-like thing to do would be to return oscorps tech to oscorp
>>
>>28870449
Lets...
>Talk to Gwen
>Reaccuire Hobby's stuff
>Work on reverse engineering it
>Give Gwen old webshooters
>Develop a new set more compact that can cycle out cartridges on its own (revolver style) and launch webbing faster and the capacity to shoot high density web balls
>Take Felicia out on a date (please lord tell me Stella didn't snap)

yeah, strong webbing takes priority for now. The other stuff we can work on off and on in play as needed, depending on how long a time skip we want to take.

Though I'm happy the one off idea I wrote about the miniature/hold out webshooter seems to have made it in.
>>
>>28871317

Oh, that makes sense.
>>
>>28871321
However many you want- what agreed upon is how long the timeskip lasts.

>>28871311
Depends on what type you want to make. Less than a day for the type you already have and a few days off and on for a slightly more refined version with no upgrades- otherwise, however long it takes for you to get those upgrades done.
>>
>>28871259
>Strong Webbing- 1 week
By far the most useful
>>
>>28871259
Strong Webbing - 1 week
Pepper Spray Webbing - 1 week
Miniturized Webshooter - 1 week(?)
Revolver Shooter - 2 weeks
Increase spider-tracer (2 mile) - 2 weeks
Integrated headset - 1 week
Grappling Bracers for Felicia - 1 week
Total: 2 months and a week
>>
>>28871317
probably right.
>>
>>28871327
Correct- the time that goes into this is the r&D, making them is much less time consuming.
>>
>>28871361
So Timeskip to THANKSGIVING!
>>
>>28871361
>refined
What does this mean? Is our roughly made one going to break soon or inefficient?
>>
>>28871361
Better just copy the ones we have now for Gwen's use. That would make her truly our superpowered partner-in-hero.
>>
>>28871259
I may be the odd-man-out here, but I'd like to push for decrypting the hard-drive. It'll take a full month, but there's no telling what else could be in there. New web fluids? Basics of the Spiders? formulae to reproduce the Symbiote? Secret FBI/SHIELD slush-funds we can access anonymously? More messages to us from our dead parents? Plus it clears up two separate story archs. That's free XP right there.
>>
>>28871259
The Impact Webbing Set and Strong Webbing. Should be 4 Weeks total.

Hopefully we can get some Flash and Harry time in too
>>
>>28871259
Strong Webbing- 1 week
Revolving Cartridges- 1 week
Increase Spider-tracer range- 1 week per mile
Headset integrated into mask- 1 Week
>>
>>28871332
I like all of those
>>
>>28871296

Hmmm... Anna and MJ might wind up at the Parker's table because they don't have anyone else. Stella definitely. Felicia more than likely.

Thanksgiving might become a ridiculous affair. Wonder what Harry & Norman are doing. And I wonder what Captain Stacy and Gwen will be doing.
>>
>>28871369
I like this.
>>
>>28871400
I think it's something we should be able to do in the background. But spending an active month on is silly
>>
>>28871259
>Strong Webbing- 1 week
>Make a webshooter for Gwen (refined)
>Refine our webshooter

Also, I'm voting against anything longer than one month no matter what because other characters are going to be on the move by then
>>
>>28871259
>WEBBING UPGRADES

>>
>>28871379

In that case, making grappling bracers for Felicia seems like a waste of time.

Unless there's some reason she'd be incapable of using webshooters - even if she isn't strong enough for crazy acrobatics, they're still pretty damned handy.
>>

>Grappling Bracers for Felicia- 2 Weeks

>>

now that makes sense
Pepper spray webbing- 1 week
Impact Webbing- 1 week

Impact Webbing- 1 WEEK

Revolving Cartridges- 1 week

Grappling Bracers for Felicia- 2 Weeks
Upgrade Anti-Sonic suit for hearing- ????
Decrypt HARDDRIVE- 1month

This one is okay.

I think it's putting us right at the start of December.

Idle Curiosity, what do the grappling bracers do besides utilize a retractable grapple of some kind?
>>
>>28871259
By the time we're done making some new webs or whatever, villains and heroes basically everywhere are gonna be fucking shit up.
>>
>>28871448
But, awkward Thanksgiving.
>>
>>28871340
Um, you realize it'll take 3 weeks total to do the impact webbing upgrade, right?
>>
>>28871259

This works.

Supporting this.
>>
>>28871467

Theoretically things don't really heat up until 6 months after "I am Iron Man" pending on how Cosgrove intends to play it.
>>
>>28871488
That's going to timeskip us two months.
>>
>>28871369
Voting for this.
>>
These time's seem a little iffy. I kind of feel like, considering our other R&D rolls, these are only taking this long because we're time-skipping for them over doing them in real-time.
>>
>>28871463
>Idle Curiosity, what do the grappling bracers do besides utilize a retractable grapple of some kind?

They're a grappling bracer that's able to use a strong magnetic hook or a traditional hook to grapple and self-retracts. They're also rather compact, like an arm-mounted Batman grappling gun.

Which, technically, does give it a bit of an offensive use, too.
>>
>>28871423
Against this, two months is a long time what with everyone wanting us dead.
>>
THREE AWAY FROM FALLING OFF PAGE 10

>>
>>28871507
Gonna do other things like tutor Flash, etc.
>>
I reckon we should do the harddrive. Just tack on an extra month to anything we've got going.

Its free XP.
>>
>>28871508
Cool. I won't vote for it presently as it seems there would be little support behind it as it is, sigh, saving the thought for later.
>>
>>28871369

This, but with spidertracer launcher instead of grappling bracers - we can give her webshooters.

We don't need to be limited by thematics like other superheroes.
>>
>>28871423
>[X] Make Gwen a Set of Basic Bracers
Damnit, meant basic webshooters. Getting tired, sorry guys.
>>
>>28871499
Ya I didn't read it clearly enough.

I really think we should decided on the amount of time we'll skip first and then choose what we want to do.

It's going to take forever to parse all those options into a list of agreeable upgrades that can be made in an agreeable amount of time.
>>
>>28871537

He would mope, lose his job, piss off Felicia, get family killed.

>>
>>28871523
I would vote making the grapplers for Felicia, but this universe's Cat seems far less interested in doing her usual Black Cat thing, so I don't know how much use she'd get out of them.
>>
>>28871545
Swap grapling bracelers for additional basic webshoters for Gwen and Felicia and it will be fine
>>
>>28871419
An active month in which we automatically succeed and don't risk cocking the hardrive up permanently. It is a unique resource, we'll never get another if we break it. We have a chance to resolve it without a chance of failure. I really think we should take it.
>>
>>28871572
>this universe's Cat seems far less interested in doing her usual Black Cat thing
Too bad, I'd love to catch her in the act again.
>>
>>28871565
I want to catch Christmas as well. Could make for interesting villain introductions and plots, plus holiday feels. And time with gf by the fireside.

Yes, I've been playing Batman Arkam Origins, why do you ask?
>>
>>28871572

Grapplers are kinda crap anyway - hooks and magnets do not have nearly the versatility of webshooters.

She can carry a crossbow if she wants a weapon.

>>28871584
I want Thanksgiving too, but we'll see what we get.

And give her the D
imonds

Also lets NOT give her web shooters... because... you know... tying us to potential crimes and all.
>>
Wouldn't it be more practical to timeskip barely any time, get more exp for skills and then create our shit in half the time? I really don't like talking one week to build a single thing when we could wait for more experience to ramp up our intelligence or get more science skills.
>>
>>28871622

I trust her. Why don't you?

She's our gf and confirmed best waifu.

Well, its more like tying us to already known crimes. Maybe.
>>
>>28871625
Dice man. We fear dice.
>>
>>28871595
Maybe, but webbing is fairly conspicuous when left hanging all around some restricted area she's not supposed to be in. Plus she could let out about six feet worth of line and have a pair of whips if she wanted to go with the traditional cat themed weaponry.
>>
>>28871622
>not trusting your girlfriend
>>
>>28871625
Or just do it in a day with a few rolls.

Why don't we instead spend the time-skip gathering the supplies for these upgrades and then do it in-game instead of skipping so far ahead?
