Big meat has massive arm in the middle of it's face, and two large teeth under it's chin. Kobal seen beast do lots of damage with teeth to other men before.

Kobal tell men to jump and surprise big beasts. Group turn around slowly and spring up, shouting and waving spears about. Beast not know what go on and trumpet into air. Beasts are terrified and run towards forest-men!

Kobal and group try to keep up, it hard with chest-shell on but they stay behind rest of beasts. Beasts eventually get to forest edge where rest of men spring out and shout and roar. Beasts scared even more now!

Kobal and group of men now circle two beast. Beasts very scared but have no where to go.

The beasts roar into sky and trample ground, earth shakes but Kobal stand firm.

Men close in on beasts with spears, start to throw rocks and sticks at them. Kobal gets in close and stabs beast with spear, beast rear up on legs and try to stamp on Kobal.

Kobal quickly jumps out of way and stabs beast again. Rest of men join in and attack the beasts legs. Beast eventually lose control and fall to ground, making mighty thud!

Men jump in and stab beast many times, beast roar quietly and then take last breath. Kobal group defeat big beast!

Tribe in complete shock when Kobal come back dragging massive beasts behind him. Thraka step up to Kobal and embrace him like brother.

"Kobal is truly greatest hunter!" Thraka shout to tribe. "Kobal men great hunters too!" Thraka points to the rest of the group.

"Thraka have big gift he want to share to Kobal." Thraka puts his arm around Kobal shoulder and leads to Thraka cave.

Thraka cave covered in skulls and pretty beads, tribe leader have many benefits. Thraka point to Thraka daughter, Losha.

"Losha be Kobals woman" Thraka pats Kobal on the back and heads out of cave to rest of tribe. Tribe are cutting meat up and drying over fire to keep.

To be honest, it feels like there's not that much to do, because of the age we're in.

Kobal and Losha had many, many children. Some sons went on to become famous warriors in their own right, others became expert craftsmen, making things of beauty unsurpassed by any other tribes.

Due to the close relationship with Thraka, Kobal's family held a high status within the tribe for a very long time.

Kobal kept hunting beasts, he eventually managed to get his hands on a sabretooth pelt, with the head still attached, and made himself a ferocious hoody. Legends of an invincible warrior, as hard as rock, that could turn into a tiger, abounded throughout the surrounding area. It was all Kobal.

Kobal was the greatest and most renowned warrior that the tribe ever had, he taught younger warriors to fight in his twilight years, and continued to hunt until his final days.

Kobal passed away at the age of 47, with thousands of kills under his name. He was surrounded by his family, and indeed the entire tribe. A special plot was marked off, next to Thraka's burial site, to hold Kobal's body.

Could I suggest not using best of three dice rolling mechanics?

The reason you received so many 100s and high rolls is because of it.

It gives a 2.97 chance of rolling 100. Triple the chance than in a normal first roll system. You are bumping the average up very high in the process, eliminating some of the risk from the game.

For a style of quest where the MC will die anyway, letting them die to bad rolls or decisions is more entertaining than dying in old age.
